Samuel let out a soft, shaky sigh before managing a small smile. "I love you too." He muttered out softly, leaning close to press a quick kiss to the tip of his nose. His head was beginning to hurt... "But... You have to remember, I most likely won't recognize you... A-Are you sure you can... Take that?" He asked carefully, a little bit scared.

[Kotorichan]

Athan looked away, frowning slightly. "I... I'm not sure... It's impossible for me to really know. But I want to at least try" He leaned up and gently kissed the man's cheek. He knew that it would be terrifying to see his boyfriend turn into some kind of strange creature who didn't even recognize him. But he had to try... What kind of person would he be if he just abandoned Samuel like that?

Samuel nodded quietly, pulling Athan close to himself before slowly moving to lay down on the couch, bringing Athan along to lay on his chest. "Do you mind if I take a quick nap?.." He asked with a sheepish smile, his hands placed snuggly around Athan's waist, holding him close. "I'm so tired." The werewolf admitted with a chuckle, pressing a soft kiss to his jawline.

"Do you want me to leave you alone..?" Athan asked softly, looking up at his boyfriend. "I don't wanna wake you up on accident" His cheeks flushed softly as he hesitantly snuggled close to Samuel's chest. "But I can with you if you want..." He liked being so close to the man, even though the new information about his true nature was tugging at the back of his mind.

Samuel shook his head as soon as he heard the question. "No... I want you to stay with me. It's way nicer than sleeping alone." He smiled, while his heart skipped a beat when Athan snuggled up close into his chest. The werewolf raised a hand, slowly running it over his hair. He was so gorgeous... Closing his eyes, Samuel let himself drift away, keeping one hand on the other's waist, and the other on the back of his neck.

Athan looked up at Samuel, his cheeks red. "Okay... Sleep well" He said softly. His heart was beating fast as he felt Samuel's hands on his body. He slowly closed his eyes and allowed himself to relax against the man's chest. For a moment he felt like he might fall asleep, but his constant underlying feeling of anxiety wouldn't allow him to fully relax. Instead he just stayed still and quiet.

Samuel managed to sleep for a good three hours. When he finally roused, his arms squeezed slightly around the body on top of his, his mouth opening wide with a long yawn. Only after his mouth was closed did he open his eyes. Seeing his boyfriend first thing in the morning was a great feeling, he had to be honest. A small smile stretched out across his face as he pressed a small, sleepy kiss to the corner of Athan's lips. "Morning, love." He murmured out, lightly running his fingers over his back.

Athan had managed to doze off a bit, but was instantly woken up when he was squeezed. He blinked up at his boyfriend, his cheeks flushing softly. "Ah... Good morning" He snuggled a little closer, closing his eyes again until his mind cleared. "Did you sleep well?" His mind wandered to the dragon's egg that hadn't been touched for awhile and he started to sit up. "Um, should we check on the egg..?"

Samuel nodded lightly at the question, gently ruffling up his boyfriend's hair. A soft whine left his lips as the warm body began getting away, but the words that came with the movement woke him right up. "Oh, fuck." He whispered softly, gently nudging Athan up to get to the egg. The flames had kept it warm, thankfully, and seeing as he was unable to get too close to the fire without feeling like his face was going to burn off, he figured it was the right temperature. There weren't any cracks in it yet either. Turning back to Athan with a loose smile on his face, the werewolf tilted his head to the side slightly. "The egg is fine... Do you feel like eating somethin'?"

Athan stayed on the couch, far away from the fire, flames still made him a bit uneasy. He looked up at his boyfriend, lightly biting his lip. No matter how many times they had hung out he still found it difficult to ask for anything. "Sure..." He finally said, forcing himself to tell the truth. "I can cook something if you're still tired." He rose to his feet and started towards the kitchen.

Samuel seemed to be a little bit confused as he watched Athan stand up. "What? No, you're my guest. I should be the one making breakfast." He smiled warmly, walking after his boyfriend to wrap his arms around his waist from behind. "So what do you want?" The werewolf asked in a soft mutter, pressing a light kiss to the side of his neck. He'd have to go feed the animals after they ate, too... And check the cell, make sure everything was prepared.

Athan's cheeks flushed softly as he was embraced. "I'm not some kind of special guest that you have to cook for..." He mumbled. "I'm here all the time aren't I?" He looked back at his boyfriend. "Besides, don't you have to take care of the animals? I don't know how to do that stuff, so cooking for you is all I can do to help out."

Samuel frowned slightly, thinking for a couple of moments before sighing softly in defeat. "I guess you're right." He mumbled out, pressing a light kiss to his boyfriend's cheek. "Fine, I'll try to feed them as quickly as I can. Feel free to make yourself at home." The werewolf smiled lightly, gently running his fingers across Athan's jawline before leaving the room. He'd do everything as fast as he possibly could.

Athan smiled at him shyly. "Don't do it too fast, otherwise I won't be done..." He mumbled softly, walking into the kitchen to start making breakfast. He made french toast and eggs, trying not to think about how useless he felt. He couldn't help with the egg, or with the other animals, and he sure as hell wouldn't be able to do much to help with Samuel's transformation. All he could do was cook breakfast and feel like a shitty boyfriend.

Samuel did everything as fast as he could, but there was so much to do he still ended up finishing only after Athan was done cooking. Brushing off a couple drops of sweat that managed to appear on his forehead, the werewolf huffed softly, setting down the now-empty bucket before going into the bathroom to quickly wash his face and hands. After that, he walked into the kitchen, tightly wrapping his arms around his boyfriend from behind, pressing a warm kiss to his cheek. "I'm done." He muttered out, looking at what the other had made. "Oh, looks delicious! I'm starving." He laughed softly, gently rubbing the other's hip before pulling back to grab his plate of food.

Athan's face went red as he felt the man's hands caressing his hips. "I hope it tastes okay..." He gave a slight smile before pulling away and sitting at the table. He waited for Samuel to start eating before speaking again. "How is it?" Without thinking he brushed his hair over the left side of his face. It had become such a habit that he wasn't even aware of what he was doing.

Samuel sat down at the table, immediately digging into the food. All he was able to respond with when asked how the food was with a low, satisfied hum. The werewolf swallowed down a big bite before slowly reaching over, tucking away the hair Athan had brushed over the left side of his face. "Don't do that." He muttered out softly, pulling his hand away carefully. He gave his boyfriend a light smile before continuing to eat. He'd be sure to remind the other not to hide himself as often as necessary.

Athan's cheeks flushed as his hair was moved away. "Oh, right, sorry..." He kept his gaze on his plate, slowly eating his food. "Um. what else do you need to do today? Maybe I can help you out with anything you need to get done..." He managed a nervous smile, he really wanted to be helpful to his boyfriend. Otherwise it felt like he was just leeching off the other, taking up time and space.

Samuel tilted his head to the side at the question. "Uh..." He bit down on his lip, turning his gaze to his food just as his boyfriend had. "I don't... I don't want you to see it yet." The man muttered out quietly, as if ashamed. He squeezed his fork tightly in his hand, unable to lift his gaze back up at Athan. "I'm sorry." He apologized softly, letting out a quiet sigh. He didn't want for Athan to see what he could become - or rather, what he could do - just yet. He didn't want to ruin this so early.

"Okay..." Athan reached over the table to gently touch the other's cheek. "Sam... I don't have to look, I can help with something else." He smiled gently. "I don't want you to be scared." After a moment of thought he leaned over farther and kissed Samuel's cheek lightly. He quickly pulled away, his cheeks red, and started to eat again.

Samuel held himself back from jumping when his cheek was touched. He hadn't been expecting that. Looking up quietly, the werewolf exhaled slowly, shame and guilt still obvious in his eyes. These emotions were replaced by confusion and giddiness when his cheek was kissed - and even more so when Athan pulled back with that utterly adorable expression on his face. "I feel like I fall for you more and more every day." He chuckled lightly, a somewhat shy and awkward smile on his face as he reached over, taking one of the other's hands into his own. "You can just stick around for a while if you want to... That alone will help me."

"Yeah, I'd love to stay if you don't mind..." Athan smiled and gently squeezed the other's hand. "I think I already said this, but I don't want you to feel alone or like you have to hide stuff from me... I don't wanna be completely useless to you. I already can't do much to help with all the animals."

Samuel's lips stretched out into a faint smile. "Hey, it's the thought that counts. Plus... You can always learn how to take care of animals. If you plan to stay as my boyfriend, you're going to have to spend more time around them." The werewolf laughed softly, lightly squeezing Athan's hand. "You'll never be useless for me. You have no idea how much it means for me to just have you stay." He muttered out, bringing his hand to his lips, kissing it softly. He really did appreciate it, a lot.

"O-of course I plan on staying your boyfriend, at least as long as you let me..." Athan blushed deeply at the kiss to his hand. Samuel was just so sweet to him. "Um, do you need to do anything or can we just spend time together..?" He asked, looking up at the man.

Samuel shook his head at the question. "I don't need to do anything until lunchtime." He replied simply, still holding Athan's hand. "What do you wanna do? 'Cause I... I actually wanted to go out somewhere. Maybe you wanna have a picnic?" He suggested with a light smile. The werewolf was genuinely just tired of being inside. He wanted to leave for a while. At least while he still could.
