Saphira had a rough childhood because she grew up in a time when Asperger’s Syndrome was not very well known. In school, many of her classmates would not talk to her or even look in her general direction. Her parents, Kaye and Robert Kingsley, did the best they could to get her the help she needed; however, the time came when even they could not do much for her, and she had to move out.
