Yaoi Fan, moving to BL novels;loved Takumi -- seen Nordzee, Texas

Any advice out there from some yaoi / BL fans?

 

I first got hooked on Gravitation, moved on to JJR, and consequently lead me to Sekai-Ichi Hatsuokai. I loved all the characters, am excited to see JJR S3 coming -- but having ventured into BL; I've written some slash fiction [unrelated, sorta] That's Beastboy/Robin from Teen Titans, saw Takumi-Kun, was blown away, and through slowly filtering through what BL has been published, I'm really drawn to the kind of story told in Nordeez, Texas. I'm wondering if anyone out there can empathize with my type of fiction, fan-fiction, and/or film/movie related desires/likes and guide me towards some other titles that, per se, swing in my direction.

I really loved Takumi! I plan on rewatching it soon. But if you're looking for manga there's one that's somewhat similar to Takumi called Ai no Kotodama. It's a live action and a manga. I haven't read the manga yet, but the live action is really great! It might be up your ally.

I'm so happy JJR S3 is out. It's turning out amazing, the end of ep 4 was literally so fluffly they had that big balls of fluff scene! XD

 

I watched that Live Action and it was great, I actually stumbled upon an adorable other movie:

I just wish they'd be a bit more graphic and less angsty with it. Although the ending to Love's Coming is honestly the first of it's kind I've seen, and I absolutely adored it.

 

Anyone else have some suggestions? I'm not talking Please wow me with your knowledges of our wonderful quasi-perverted film and cartoonage! xD

Those tagged with [GMOVIE] usually have an engsub, some have no english in them. If you're lucky sometimes you can get the title, add "engsub" , and find an eng subbed version. But you also can go from each one through the recommended videos on the side -- there's quite a lot. Timeline, And also Love of Siam; on dailymotion here:

North Sea Texas was great; correction from earlier. But also US shorts. When Queer as Folk came out I absolutely fell for it and died for the Justin/Brian relationship; that's when I started searching around the internet for more -- and really my first male/male media I watched, maybe gravitation first. Which was ... dekiciously almost as graphic.

 

But please, if we can let's get a similar likes discussion going with this stereotype / genre within the BL/Yaoi male films ? Please?

 

I bet we can all [interested] get together and find a lot of new things we haven't seen. I certainly hope I've contributed in that sense. And it's not necessarily just Younger/larger than a margin partner either; or the company man / editorial either. Just the characters, demographics and relationships. We all know it's just sweaty sex scenes without a good story, and that's what touches us. I'd like to help us all connect with that we haven't found.

A new addition to the miraculous finds I'm making; thank god it was already subbed on the video. It's a great BL/male-male relationship they play out. It's a short, 25 minutes, but I swear it broke my heart. I posted there in the comments asking if anyone knows if there was a sequel made. Any chance anyone here has seen it?

I should have mentioned, Shelter [uS] was an amazing film. Heartbreak here and there, but god was it real. I should give it a lot of credit into my BL... coexistence with yaoi anime.
