Looking for recommendations

Hi,

 

I've recently read War prisoner by 梨花烟雨(Li Hua Yan Yu) and The last concubine by Catt Ford.

I'm trying to find novels / manga similar to these two but I'm not really having much luck. Sometimes google isn't the answer to everything. -.-

 

So I'm wondering if someone here can recommend something similar to those two works.

 

Preferably, but not necessarily, in English.

As I recently found out the hard way, language isn't as important as accessibility. So something that is digitally accessible would be appreciated.

Hmm~ I don't know much about Chinese historical manga/novel but, if you want Japanese historical manga/novel you can find my recommendation below~ Sorry~

 

I personally like reading historical themed yaoi novel/manga. I get to see beautifully drawn kimono and furisode. They are quite pricey, but they're also my prized collections irl~~~ xD

I'm going to check them out tomorrow. And thanks for only listing finished ones. I totally forgot to mention that in my post. I hate ongoings as well. If the story is really good I don't want to have to wait for the next installment.
