This month's theme shall be "Solitary".

YaoiOtaku decided to open a thread for people who love music

and love to write poems, or simply song lyrics.

 

Giving the chance to show your feelings about the current theme and in general,

how do you interpret it, we have picked a certain song.

Based on its melody, you have to write down either a poem or a song lyrics.

Of course, it's up to you how you name it, as long as you

mention once "Solitary" in the content.

watching you pack your things

with angry scowl on your pretty face

and parting words that stab too deep

I stand rooted on the same spot

as the door slammed shut

 

sun shines through the window still

I awoken in that canopy bed

yearning the best of days

when you would call my name

with a gorgeous morning smile

 

my heart is black and blue

the world is grey without you

my sight filters everything

till only your image remain

i want to come back home

back in your arms and warmth

 

if only..

i didn't love too hard

would you stay by my side?

if i promise..

not to like you too much

would you consider me one more time?

 

because this empty house

had long lost your presence

because the once comfortable bed

had long lost your scent

because the solitary me

can't breathe in enough

It's been five long years.

And I've gotten to a point where

I don't know what to do

or where to go from here.

 

I climbed to the top on

bare hands and knees.

Sung my way to infamy.

Acted, my way to fame.

 

But what does it all mean?

What was I trying to achieve

In the first place?

What was my dream?

 

Because to be a artist

you need to dreams

and honor.

That was the only way.

 

So where did I go wrong?

Why don't I feel right?

How did I lose track?

How did I lose sight?

 

It's because the price of infamy

Is steep.

 

To transition from solitary

to entertainer overnight

One loses themselves.

A piece of their mind.

 

I am not the me

who graced the stage

all those years ago.

And I doubt I'll ever see me again.

 

The kids look up to me.

Believe in me.

I want to know what they see

So maybe, I can see it too.

 

I've got a long way to go.

But now I have my dreams.

And my honor.

Hey, after all this

 

Would you say I became a hero?

In the Solidarity of a Two Confined Minds

 

Within these confines,

lies the remnants of two polar lines,

one that leads to sanity,

the other to instability, madness, unsoundness and ineptness.

 

Either can be filled with vacuousness,

A mixture of sanity, insanity or either-or

Within these voided confines stands solitary, in galore

A sinful bliss and then, in some abyss,

 

its either a hit or a miss,

in the solidarity of two confined minds,

is there really such a thing as a solitary to solidarity?

The answer lies in the two polar lines and its polarity.
