pandamonium Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 The sun shone brightly as Micah finished sketching a mother and her child standing by the crosswalk. A nice Sunday morning. He'd recently arrived here a couple days ago and was excited by his new surroundings. Move. This location has bored me. Micah gave a nod as he collected his things. Standing up and heading to another location. Thing pictures every now and then of the sights. He'd been on this journey for the past six months. Every day he felt less suffocated. He was enjoying these sights tremendously, so the 'parasite' must be somewhat pleased. Yes...immensely. All these people seem to be taking the rhythmic, slow feel of the day. It's quite nice. No need to rush today. Go at this pace. It replied. Micah gave another nod as he continued a relax pace, enjoying the slow murmur of people as they went about their way. He thought that they were going to take a slow relaxing day spent sightseeing. He felt annoyance. Alright. Where sho-? He was caught off by someone introducing themselves. He turned around to see a young man walking over. That's strange...why is he introducing himself to us? This is the reason I told you to move. It's another 'host'. And I'd rather not associate with them. So move. But wouldn't it be rude to rush off? Wouldn't you like to be around another of your kind? No. But since it would be rude. We'll stay. Micah tried to hold back a chuckle, he entered the restaurant and looked around. Drooling at the smell of food. Don't laugh! The reason I don't like others like myself is mostly because they waste their host's potential. None of them uses your kind wisely. They use them for either the most ridiculous things or the most malevolent. Never anything useful. I see...I'm sorry...should I tell him? If it'll make them leave us alone, then yes. But not before getting them to pay for us, of course. We're on a budget. Micah covered his chuckle. His 'guest' was peculiar to say the least. He felt more at ease. "I had a few friends...but I left them all behind. I miss them sometimes, but I don't feel lonely. Do you get lonely?" He snapped his head to the side.
