Haunted Day Dream Posted September 16, 2015 Share Posted September 16, 2015 I work in the school library. I'm quiet and don't really talk unless I have to. The library is where I spend most of my time. For the most part. But there is this guy at my school. He is the princely type of the school. Always so nice to all the girls and just charming. Before I knew it I had fallen for him... I guess I'll just go and confess to him... MC is a shy and quiet boy who works in the library of the school he attends. YC is a princely type who is good with the ladies and charming and kind. But when MC confesses his feelings to YC he shoots him down and is actually kinda cold and mean. But as they interact more and more as YC comes to library more often and gets books from MC. YC starts to like coming and seeing MC until one day he gets a good look at MC and realizes he is actually sorta attractive and kind hearted and nice even after being shoot down so harshly by YC. What will happen now between the prince of the school and the boy in the library? _________________________________________________________________________________ Jamie sat there at the desk in the school library. He had a book in his hands, a smile on his face and his thick, black rimmed square glasses pushed up on his face. He always seemed to get lost in books. He flipped the page as he sighed lightly when he started the new chapter. The book was moving smoothly and with no confusion like some books. But as some students started to come up to check out books, he'd have to mark his place and put the book down. He smiled at the other people as he checked them out and told them when the books were to be brought back. He then moved out from behind the desk and grabbed the book cart as he wheeled it around, placing books back on the shelves where they belonged. The school was coming in to a close, so this was just the right time to do this part. He rounded a corner with an arm full of books and placed them on a shelves as well before going back to the cart and grabbing another armful of books. He turned down another row of book, his gaze was on the top book when he bumped right into someone. He toppled back ward, the books flying up into the air. He landed on his ass. The books coming down and around him and his glasses sliding slightly off his face. Once things settled down he gasped. "I'm so sorry! I was not paying attention and I -" He was cut short when he looked up at just who he had bumped into and he felt his whole face turn red. He looked right up at the schools 'Prince.' Past: Kyoya family is quite wealthy, He's always gotten good grades and he's naturally very gifted and smart in everything he does. He was very attached to his grand parents until they passed away, and has never really gotten attached to his parents since there never around so he doesn't try getting attached to anyone. Personality: Kyoya is the princely type who is good with the ladies and charming and kind... on the outside but can be cold and mean at times. He's great at everything he does but never brags about his money or life. Every guy wants to be him.. and ever girl wants to do him. He seem so... perfect... perhaps too perfect? Fears: Being alone forever, getting attached to another person ( he fears that he'll lose them) and Hights "Nmp-" Kyo stumbled back slightly, realizing someone had bummed into him. He looked down, seeing a boy, sitting on his behind, covered in books, and wearing dorky glasses. He sighs hearing the other apologize. "It's already, no harm done" He squated down, removing the two books that fell on the younger boys lap, smiling softly. "You alright? Uhh-.... Jamie?" He squinted his eyes, reading the name tag the librarian was wearing, he stood, using his free hand to help Jamie up, grabbing his wrist with ease and with out his consent "Haha- Quite a fall huh? I'm sorry, I should of looked around the corner before walking. My bad, here-" He handed the librarian the two books he removed early. "Kyoya! Come on, the guys are waiting! " His friend called out. He sighed again. "That's me. I gotta go... sorry again. " He hurried out of the library, following his group of friends, not once looking back at Jamie.. His cheeks were a deep red as he was helped up. He went to thank the man, but he was already gone by the time Jamie found his voice. Jamie then dropped the books again and fell back to the floor. "He knows my name... Even if it was only because of my name tag." He sat there for a moment more as let that sink in. He then got up and gathered the books once more. He was looking for a good historical book he could write his History paper on, but nothing seemed good or interesting to him. He glanced at the desk, feeling as if someone was watching him... sure enough, when he turned, the librarian's eyes fell to the ground. Kyoya just assumed that he was shy. He smiled kindly, slowly strolling up to the front desk. "Uhh- Jamie? " This was the boy who bumped into him the other day. He remembered. "Maybe you could help me. Your a librarian so I assume you enjoy reading and have read many books. I have a History essay I need to write on a historical book, but nothing seems to be catching my attention. Do you think you could suggest something? Maybe help me find a book? " He didn't break eye contact, when ever you talked to the 'Prince' he always looked into your eyes. He was just sitting there at the desk like he usually did, everyday. A book in his hand as he was reading. When he heard a voice. His eyes slowly shifted up and over his book. He then lowered the book quickly as he stood up when he saw the Prince. "O-oh, um.." He started as he looked down and around his desk. He had a book at the desk already that might be of interest to the other male, but he did not know. He then moved a book out of the way as he smiled when he picked it up. "Here. This one is one of my favorite ones." He told the Prince as he slid it over the top of the counter and toward the other to look at. "It's a classic, the Diary of Anne Frank. "Um... by the way.. your zippers down" He told the librarian, exiting quickly with out saying anything else, but he was laughing a little. He then nodded as the Prince said he would come back and tell him what he thought. He then blushed as he failed his hands, reaching down and zipping his zipper up. "T-thanks.." He said but the other was already gone. He then sat back down as he put his head in his hands. "I'm such a nerd and i'm so embarrassing." He said to his self as he picked up a book and opened it as he started to read. After the library closed he was walking home when he looked over at a tree in the park next to the school. He walked over to it as he sat down. He leaned his back against it as he took back out his book. The wind blew and shifted his hair around his face. The sun kissing his pale skin. The Prince was wearing sweat pants and a ruining jersey, he seemed to be leaving track practice because he was still sweaty and was carrying his stuff and a water bottle with him. "Sorry... for interrupting" He smiled. "I just saw you and figured I'd say hi..." He shrugged, glancing around. He hadn't realized how quiet it was outside. This was a perfect spot for reading! "Hey um... the bus doesn't get here for another half hour. Mind if I sit with you?" He asked, already tossing his stuff down and taking a sweat near him, He pulled out the book Jamie suggested to him later today. "Now is a good time then any to start reading now right? And uh...s-sorry if I smell, can't really do much about it, just let me know if it really bothers you, because I'll move away a little." Kyo hadn't realized it till now but... the sun was kissing the librarians pale skin, and the nice cool breeze was ruffling his clothes just a tad. Had the boy always had such pretty hair and dazzling eyes? He was... kind of.... kind of.... cute? His eyes fell as he began reading along side Jamie. He looked good even now when he was all sweaty and red faced from running. He then looked away as he nodded. "Go ahead." He told the other who was already sitting down next to him. He then shook his head and looked over as he smiled at him. "I don't mind really. The fresh air keeps smells away to some extent." He said with a light laugh as he looked back at his book and started to read. It was hard to pay attention to his book when the prince was so close to him and actually reading with him, spending time with a nerd like him. He smiled a little more. " But the boy played it off. He couldn't help but wonder what the younger male had said. Was it a rude comment? Or a question? Or Perhaps maybe he was just reading under his breath. He looked back to his book, reading quietly to himself, trying not to think about it. This was a new experience for Him... and he was kind of liking it. He just sat there enjoying the nice night air as he smiled to his self some more. His fingers playing over the cover of his book. It was a romance novel and on the cover it had two men embracing on a roof top overlooking the ocean. His hair was blowing once more in the wind as it rolled over his face and around his head, but he didn't seem to mind it one bit. After a moment he sat up as he opened his eyes and then put the book into his bag before tilting his head over at the other. "I think I'm going to head home for now. Do you need a ride home?" However, when the librarian closed his book, He glanced at Jamie... and the cover of his book. It appeared to have two..men? Embracing each other on a roof top overlooking the ocean.. Two.. men? Was the other interested in reading that stuff? Or was he...gay? Kyoya looked away, marking and closing his book as well. "I think I'm going to head home for now. Do you need a ride home?"[/Quote] Kyoya stared at him. His car was in the shop so he'd be stuck taking the bus for a few days, He hadn't told anyone this of course, it wasn't any of there business. "Uh-.. I don't know.." He said, slowly standing, and putting his book away. "I don't want to stink up your car.. plus I live.. kind of far.."
