"I still don't see why you're making me do this" a lean dark haired man grumbled under his breath as he walked behind a taller male with long platinum silver hair. His violet eyed narrowed on the back of larger male as said male turned to peer back at him with an amused little grin.

"Brother, you know this is a task I would only assign to the most loyal of us. I would not trust anyone else with the path that lays ahead of you" the man said, deep toned voice soft and filled with warmth and affection.

"It's a waste of time, not to mention you're throwing me in with a nest of bloodsuckers. Their scent alone will have me gagging in a few hours time. One of the younger pups would be ideal for this" the dark haired male hissed in complete dislike to the idea.

"Ah but you are the most loyal we have in the pack. Please, just attempt to give this a try. For the benefit of our people. This war has gone on for to long, we need for it to come to an end" the silvered haired wolf replied with infinite patience in his voice.

Sighing and shaking his head, the smaller wolf murmured a resigned "I may come to accept the reasoning for this, but why must I live with the one I must marry? Can't I remain with the pack?".

"It would work best to see how you both coexist in one space.....Brother if I did not believe this would work, I would not ask you to do this. However, should you ever feel uneasy or you no longer wish to continue this, I will pull you out.....You have my word" was the response he recieved.

Shoulders slumping in defeat, the dark haired wolf exhaled a heavy breath before conceding with a quiet "As you wish, Minjun".

Feeling his leader reach back to gently clasp his hand in his larger one, the dark haired wolf relaxed a bit.

"We are here, brother" the silver haired male, Minjun said after a few minutes time.

Looking up to the manor before them, Taeyang took a deep breath. He might not enjoy what the next few months would hold for him and he would not make things easy for his partner.....however, he was willing to at least try.....for now.

Watching Minjun raise a hand to knock on the manor's doors, Taeyang stood behind his elder brother and alpha as he waited for the doors to open.

A sigh escaped the younger vampire as he leaned back on his chair, his grey eyes looked past the edges of his midnight hair, over at his ginger friend. "You better be wrong James... I swear over my dead body this will go south fast if you're right... And I'll blame you."

James smirked slightly and gave a little shrug, knowing that his friends was joking, well sort of, "Alright lets make a bet then. I say female."

"High stakes?" Zachiarius inquired and James nodded. "I say male or course, and you have yourself a deal."

And right on cue, there was a knocking at the door. Both men looked at each other before getting up. Zachiarius followed behind his friend, feeling a little nauseous as well as nervous. He didn't know why it had to be him, a sacrifice for the betterment of the clan... Forced into a marriage that should stop the fighting between the two.

If there was a god, Zachiarius hoped for a man... Because he was gay... And there was no going back. He didn't really know anything about the person he would be meeting tonight, other than it was someone by the name of Taeyang... He didn't know if that was a girls name or not... But he certainly hoped it was a guys name, otherwise he just lost a weeks worth of pay and... he would haveto marry a woman...

That was not the life for him!

But of course, Zachiarius did suspect why they chose him to be in this marriage... He was, after all, an orphaned vampire. With no family nor clue to prove his bloodlines, he was basically an extra to the clan. Vampire no less. And as much as he wasn't fond of being forced into a marriage... He 'had' to... For the future... Blah blah blah...

Zachiarius himself was a little indifferent about the whole ordeal. As long as it wasn't a woman, he could find someway to work it out, even if he was unhappy to begin with. He just hoped the other would be willing to try too... Because honestly Zachiarius really didn't want to go to war.

So as they made their way to the door, both of them hid their fangs, it was polite. Plus, Zachiarius already felt tense, so it wouldn't be surprising if the other was tense too. He didn't want there to be any more issues as there was...

For the final reveal, James opened the door and Zachiarius got a glimpse of both men, one of which was standing behind the other. He, Zachiarius assumed was his soon to be 'bride'... Zachiarius smirked and pushed James' shoulder lightly. "I believe I won the bet." Which caused James to curse under his breath. Zachiarius walked around James, a small smile on his lips despite how nervous he was. "Nice to meet you both, I'm Zachiarius Williams and this is my friend, James." He gestured to himself and then James as he introduced. "Please come in."

Zachiarius lead the way into the living room, which despite being a vampires home, it was not stereotypical in the least. In fact, it was decently modernized.

Looking up when the door was pulled open to reveal two vampires, Taeyang had to physically fight the urge to let his lips pull back into a snarl of dislike. He couldn't help it. His reactions were something that had been basically programmed him since he could walk and talk. His distaste for the blood suckers was something that ran in his blood.

However, for his pack and for his brothers, he would try to last this marriage out.

Tensing when one of the two vampires pushed forward to talk to them, Taeyang subconsciously crinkled his nose a bit at the strong scent the blood feeder carried. Had he been fully into his wolf state, his haunches would have more than likely been raised by now and his fur probably would have been bristling.

"It's nice to meet you as well Zachiarius, James....My name is Minjun Han and this is my younger brother, Taeyang Han" Minjun responded to the introductions and greeting with a politely neutral tone. Though he wore a light smile on his features, his violet eyes were guarded and hint weary.

Resisting slightly when Minjun took a step into the vampires home, Taeyang felt his brother give his hand a small reassuring squeeze from where it still remained locked in his. Swallowing the need to let out another sigh of annoyance, Taeyang defiantly raised his gaze from the ground to shoot the two vampires an icy glare before following his brother into the house.

His eyes swept critically around his surroundings, taking in everything without missing even the smallest of items. All the while, his lips pulled down into a frown of sheer displeasure. His discomfort of the situation was as clear as day, yet he willed himself to try and ease the tension in his body. A task made slightly easier by Minjun keeping a firm grip on his hand.

Though Taeyang wasn't prone to displays of weakness or vulnerability, he could not deny the comfort that came from physical contact with those he trusted. Werewolves, as well as other Were creatures, thrived on physical contact with one another. More so when the contact came from a pack mate or the pack alpha.

"Your house is quite different than what we had expected.....it's not as ancient in appearance as we had thought" Minjun commented lightly as he looked around curiously. "What do you think, brother?" He asked after a moment, turning his gaze upon the smaller wolf.

"You already know what I think " Taeyang replied in a chilled, disinterested pitch to his voice. Something that earned him a small exasperated sigh from the older male.

From the moment the two werewolves walked in, Zachiarius could tell both were on edge. Well so was he and James, but that couldn't be helped. They were all strangers, strangers that see each other as threats...

This wasn't ideal at all... If Zachiarius would have had it his way, it wouldn't be so rushed... The least the higher-ups could have done was find the perfect matches... Because as far as Zachiarius could tell... This guy didn't want anything to do with him, let alone the house. James and Minjun seemed to be the moderators of the meeting. However, Zachiarius felt like he didn't need one, if anything it was the grumpy looking Taeyang...

But alas, this couldn't be helped and Zachiarius didn't exactly know what to do so he looked at his friend for reassurance. James sighed and nodded, taking the mental cue, "Right." He clasped his hands together, "This house is currently clean and I'd like it to stay that way, so no fighting, throwing things- or anything violent." he cast glances at both sides, "No name calling, bad words or shaming. Lets be nice, okay. This is difficult for everyone here, so just, please, take a deep breath and relax. Now, with that being said," James turned to Zachiarius, "Please go give Taeyang a tour of the home, Zachiarius."

Zachiarius tilted his head, "What?" he glanced over at Taeyang, "But James... He really doesn't look like he would want me to give him a tour..." Zachiarius wouldn't mind... It was just the vibe he was giving off, it screamed 'touch me and I'll attack'. And Zachiarius was honestly trying to live up to Jame's recently listed rules.

James crossed his arms, "And how do you know? You didn't ask him did you? No, I think not." he huffed, "Ask him. Politely."

"Yeah, James, I know how to ask nicely. Geese." Zachiarius turned his head, his nervousness not helping him in the moment. He inhaled slowly, mustering a small, friendly smile and turned towards the two werewolves. He cautiously approached, sort of standing at an angle where Minjun was still standing in the way. He didn't want to make Taeyang more uncomfortable than he already was... But curse James. The least he could do was ask, even if he said no...

He hoped the other would at least try... Give him a shot. Because even though Zachiarius didn't like this scenario, he couldn't do anything to change it... So he was going to at least try...

At the moment Zachiarius no longer felt tense... He felt nervous...

Zachiarius smiled softly, trying to be polite, as he took a single step forward, "Taeyang... I know this isn't the most ideal situation and it's okay if you want to say no because I understand..." Zachiarius made eye contact with the wolf, "Will you please let me show you around my home?"

Narrowing his eyes on the vampire called James as he spoke about the rules on this house, Taeyang exchanged a brief glance with Minjun, forcing down his growl when his brother's lips turned up in amusement. Just because Taeyang wasn't one to cooperate if he didn't trust someone, didn't mean he would start throwing things around. He might get into a fight if he felt cornered by the leech, but until then he would do his best to keep his actions aggression free.

Despite himself, Taeyang tried to follow the advice the vampire gave them all. Inhaling deeply, he tried to calm his unease and take in what was happening with a slightly clearer mind. It was hard, not only because he was in vampire territory but also because he had been separated from his pack. Nevertheless for Minjun, his family and the elders, he would give this a shot.

Growling lightly when Zachiarius approached, Taeyang took a bit of comfort knowing that Minjun was still standing in the way between the two. If push came to shove, Taeyang could fight off the vampires, even if he was merely an omega and every instinct in him pushed him to be submissive. Taeyang wasn't like other omegas though, he could and would protect himself until help arrived should he need it. Nonetheless, Minjun was still there, Taeyang knew nothing would happen with his brother in the room.

Locking his gaze with Zachiarius, Taeyang didn't bother on hiding his glare of complete dislike. He had a few choice words to say to the blood sucker, yet he knew that though Minjun might have found it funny, the elders would not. Taeyang wasn't a pup anymore, he knew how to behave himself in uncomfortable situations. He was old enough to represent his kind in the situation he was placed in.....Taeyang just needed to remind himself of that.

Rolling his shoulders a bit, Taeyang straightened up some and raised his head in a somewhat of a haughty manner. Taking a few more seconds to soak in the warmth that Minjun's hand provided him, Taeyang took in a quiet, deep breath and stepped away from his brother the moment he released his hand.

"There is no need for you to speak to me as if I were a child" he finally spoke. Though a slight growl still remained in his voice, his composure had begun to rebuild itself quickly. "Lead the way, I will follow" he added after a moment.

Shifting his weight from one leg to the other, he crossed his arms against his chest, raised a perfectly arched brow and waited with silent expectancy for the vampire to move.

The impression Taeyang was giving him made Zachiarius feel uneasy. His face looked grumpy and obvious signs of displeasure. It was honestly quite annoying... But nonetheless Zachiarius smiled, "Well I think it's good that you can tell we're all adults here. So lets behave like adults."

"Zachiarius..." James warned.

Zachiarius huffed, glancing at his friend and then back at Taeyang, his eyes downcast, "I'm sorry, sometimes I can be too blunt and I speak what's on my mind. I don't feel like I should apologize for trying to be myself." His eyes shot back at James who rolled his eyes in return. Zachiarius didn't like all the pressure being put on him at the moment. Why was he the only one seemingly trying to work this out? Or perhaps that's just how he felt... Because it certainly didn't look like the other two were helping the situation. "Alright, lets go, I'll show you around, Taeyang." He said rather gently despite being a little agitated.

Leading the way, Zachiarius thought it would be wise to start upstairs, then work their way down to the basement. Hopefully that wasn't too big of a deal for Taeyang.

However, once they were out of earshot, and while they climbed the stairs, Zachiarius glanced back. Yep, Taeyang still looked rather grumpy... So as soon as they we upstairs, he turned to face the other male, "Okay... lets get three things straight before we go any further... For one, we both know we can't kill the other unless we plan to have a war. So lets get along, shall we? Secondly, even if you decide to attack me, I want you to know that I won't fight back. I've sworn over my dead body that I wouldn't bare my fangs at you, unless you want me to of course. I have a little biting kink." Zachiarius smirked, knowing that the werewolf would be revolted by the idea. "And lastly, stop making those grumpy faces, they don't suit you very well. In fact I think you look a little constipated."

Why did he tell Taeyang those things, well, for simple enjoyment and also it was one step to getting to know each other. Even if they didn't like each other... "Now... Should I continue the tour?" Zachiarius inquired.

Meanwhile downstairs, James looked over at Minjun. "I really hope they get along..." he said nervously. "I mean, I believe it could work, I was never a fan of war so... It can only be left in their hands..."

"What do you think?"

Knowing full well that baring his sharp canines at the vampires wouldn't be a smart move, Taeyang bit the inside of his cheek to keep himself from shooting back smart comment in response to the vampire's words. Perhaps when they were in private he could give the younger smart mouth a tongue lashing, but for now he would hold his temper.

Scoffing softly at the vampire's apology, Taeyang would have rolled his eyes had Minjun not given his shoulder a light little nudge. A sure sign to behave himself, whether he wanted to or not. "I never said I took any insult to your words. Feel free to be yourself, I look forward to it" Taeyang forced himself to say in a sickly sweet tone of voice all the while flashing a tiny hint of a smile towards the vampires.

Hesitating a moment when Zachiarius moved to lead them off, Taeyang shot one last glance at Minjun before following the other male. If he had been uneasy before, the feeling tripled in size now that he was away from the protection his pack leader provided him. Climbing the stairs with Zachiarius silently, Taeyang kept his weary gaze locked on the back of the man he was meant to marry.

Frowning when the younger male spun to look at him the moment they had reached the next landing, Taeyang felt his anger surging under the surface at the words the leech splurged out. Where he had done his best to control his temper and keep his sarcastic remarks to himself in the presence of his older brother, now that they were alone, Taeyang supposed he could let loose on the younger male now.

"Understand this, blood sucker. The only reason I have agreed to this ridiculous task is for the sake of my people. I don't like you, nor will I like you. I might tolerate your presence around me due to the circumstances of our marriage, but I don't feel inclined to have to get along with you" Taeyang snarled softly, not amused by either the words or the tone of voice that had been used to speak to him from the younger male.

"It would be in your best interest if you kept your fangs to yourself. Come towards me with them and I'll rip your head clean off your shoulders" he warned while he addressed the second topic Zachiarius had wanted to place in front of them. No time soon would he be baring his neck for the immortal across from him. Not unless the man truly wanted to push Taeyang to fight.

Rolling his eyes at the third issue, Taeyang locked eyes defiantly with Zachiarius saying "I do what I wish to do with my body. Just because I'm supposed to be your omega in this marriage does not mean I will submit to the whims of a mere fledgling.......However, if you wish for me to smile, then so be it". By his voice alone, it was perfectly clear that he was disgusted by having to say what he did.

Supplying the vampire with the smile he had promised, Taeyang added "If you would like to continue the tour, please do so. If not, then I'm afraid I have other things I should be spending my time managing.....The choice is yours, fledgling". Even with the smile, his violet eyes were cold and filled with dislike in them.

Down below them on the first floor, Minjun sighed and turned his head a bit to look over at James.

"I believe given the time and patience, this marriage will surprise both our species. Taeyang's loyalty to our people will make it difficult for him to accept marriage towards one of your kind....yet his loyalty as well will prove to be a key point in this. He will not let our people down" he spoke calmly before a laughter filled little smile appeared on his face.

"Besides, Tae isn't as rude and cold as he portrays himself to be. He has a heart of gold and I believe he will come to truly care for Zachiarius with some time. Your fledgling needs only to be patient".

Zachiarius hummed. Taeyang was feisty, that was for sure and that was perfectly fine with him. "Ouch. Sounds like someone is hurt and unhappy." He said, raising his hand to scratch the back of his head, ever so casually, "Okay... How do I say this..?" He hummed in thought for a moment as he tried to find the right words to say. Well, more like trying to figure out how to say his thoughts verbally so that the other male would understand.

"Look, I know 'tolerating' me sounds swell and dandy, but in the long run, it will be better if we got to know each other..." He said and started to turn around, deciding that he would give the tour while he talked. "As much as you don't like me now, if you at least get to know me a little, despite being forced into a marriage, I'm sure we can come up with a reasonable friendship." He said as they reached the end of the hall and opened the door to the left. "This is the guest room, which you are welcome to stay if you ever decide to visit. Not saying you will, but it's here for you, clean and everything I assure you." Zachiarius walked in, shrugging. "It's simple and plain with one bed, closet, and dresser."

After taking a moment to let the wolf look around, Zachiarius continued, "And don't worry, I'm not too thrilled at the idea either. I don't plan on baring my fangs at you, at least not in a violent way if you know what I mean... Even so, not for a while." He smirked, "I'm pretty good at gambling, so if you want to bet me, I assure you, you'll lose my wolf..." And that's when Zachiarius started to walk back into the hall.

"And about the smiling thing, my omega, I was only recommending it, whether you listen to me is your own choice. I'm pretty sure-" Zachiarius' eyes scanned Taeyangs' body quickly, "that you're an omega who can take care of himself. Just don't complain to me if you get wrinkles sooner." He snickered, knowing that he was making the other agitated by not only mocking him but by calling him 'my wolf' and 'my omega'. He gestured to the door across from the guest room. "This is my room, and I don't assume you want to see it, now do you, my pup...?"

Judging by Taeyangs' face, he looked angered. Zachiarius response was to folded his arms across his chest and say, "If I recall correctly James said that there was to be no name calling and you broke that rule... Now tell me Taeyang, you don't like it when I call you 'my wolf' or 'my omega' or even 'my pup', now do you? I'm not trying to piss you off-" He sort of was "but I'm trying to be friendly with you." which he also was, "I'm doing this for the clan, like you're doing for your pack." The only difference was he really didn't care for his clan... "I don't want a war and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to go to war either. Just think of all the lives that would be lost... Think about all the generations after us, who could live in harmony knowing that two brave and stupid fools made the sacrifice. Isn't that worth something to you? Damn." Zachiarius huffed.

There were few times he had gone on rants and that was one of them. He hadn't meant to. It was just that sometimes when he felt like he was between a rock and a hard spot, he just vent it out to the nearest person. Zachiarius eyes fell to the ground, looking away from Taeyang, he shook his head, brows furrowed, "Sorry... This burden weighs heavily on me, as much as it does you. I'm venting at you out of anger when you're not the one who deserves it..."

Meanwhile downstairs James stretched his arms above his head and said, "Don't worry about them... Honestly, I think it will work out, regardless... Zachiarius is a nice guy, he has heart and potential as well as patience, he just can be a sarcastic overly honest ass sometimes."

Watching Zachiarius carefully as the man made a show of thinking how to say his next statements, Taeyang prepared himself to have to defend again. He knew he wasn't making this easy for either of them, yet he couldn't really help it. Had he been in a different enviroment, surrounded by people he trusted, then maybe he might have been able to take this a bit more easily. That, however, was not the case.

Following after the man as he started to walk again, Taeyang simply rolled his eyes at the words being directed at him. Yes, he supposed he could learn of a way to come to like the man in front of him...yet right now that seemed to be an illogical assumption. To come to like a Vampire? A creature that had been his enemy for as long as he could remember....Taeyang just didn't know what to say to that. Especially when Zachiarius was talking about forming a friendship now.

"You speak as if forming a friendship of sorts is easy. Yet how could that be so with so much blood laying between both our species" he murmured as he quietly walked into the room Zachiarius had proclaimed as the guest room. Sniffing the air lightly, Taeyang had gradually began to adjust his nose to the strong scent of vampire in the air, that he didn't even cringe in distaste. What he did do was look around under cautious curiosity. He knew he would more than likely not make a habit of coming here, nevertheless, it would be good to know where his new "home" would be should anything happen.

Turning slightly to glare at the Vampire over his shoulder when the man mentioned fangs again, Taeyang bristled silently when the man's words took the turn of claiming him as Zachiarius's. While he might try and tolerate the marriage, he would not roll over and be claimed by anyone so easily. Not in words and certainly not physically.

Every nerve in Taeyang wanted for him to stubbornly remain in the room and let Zachiarius leave without making an effort to follow him. Especially when the fledgling went as far as calling him his omega. A tick was beginning to form in Taeyang's jaw. The man knew his temper was growing dangerously close to snapping, yet he valiantly held on. If not for himself, then for Minjun who expected him to behave properly.

At the 'my pup' remark, Taeyang had already begun to plan the Vampire's long and painful death. He was going to gut the man, that was for sure. Possibly string him up by one of his organs and feed him that infuriating tongue of his.....The though itself had a pleasant thrill run through his body as he stared coldly at Zachiarius.

"Friendly?" He barked out a sharp laugh, cold eyes never leaving the other creature's face. "If that's friendly, I would pay to see what your kind claims as rude" he responded, tone as frozen as the artic tundra.

Unable to stop the deep growl that escaped him when Zachiarius mentioned lives lost, Taeyang's reign on his anger nearly slipped. "Don't talk to me about lives lost, Zachiarius. I have seen far more pain and agony than you can imagine...I have lost more of my kind than you can count, so don't lecture me about lives being lost to us" he snapped at the younger male, eyes taking on a far more feral gleam to them. A sure sign that the wolf was just below the surface. The topic of losing loved ones was obviously something sensitive towards the wolf. He had lost family members he had loved more than himself and if he were honest, he was completing this task for them too. To make them proud, wherever they were.

Closing his eyes after a moment, Taeyang curled his hands into fists and dug his nails into his palms as he tried to pull his wolf under the surface again. He shouldn't have gotten that angry....but his lost family brought forth a knee jerk reaction from him. Something that never failed from happening, no matter how hard he tried to stop it.

"I believe we are both in the wrong here.....We are far to stressed by this predicament and we are lashing out in distasteful ways" Taeyang breathed put after a moments time. "As you said earlier....let us try to get along, I suppose. We both agreed to this and we will have accomplished nothing if we don't at least try".

Chuckling at James words, Minjun shrugged casually saying "Well then he'll be a fine match for Taeyang. My brother is just about as sarcastic as someone can come and his honesty when he speaks knows no end. I feel those two will get along splendidly with a bit of time".

For Zachiarius friendship was easy, it was relationships he had difficulties with. Sure, flirting was fun, but he had a hard time being romantically involved, which is why he hadn't been in any major relationships. He had been in some basic relationships but nothing too serious. So when he was told he was going to be in a forced marriage... Shocked was an understatement. Having someone chosen for him, honestly Zachiarius didn't think love worked that way... However he really didn't have a say... So... Zachiarius found himself meeting somewhere in between. The least he could do was befriend the other. At least then he couldn't be unhappy.

Somehow Zachiarius could smile right now, he nodded in agreement. "I'm glad we can come to an agreement." He said feeling slightly better. That was one step in the right direction. He truly didn't like venting to people nor yelling for that matter. Being a vampire didn't make him heartless. There many things the vampire cared for... Taeyang wasn't heartless either, that Zachiarius could tell. They were both passionate about their beliefs and for that, Zachiarius had to give Taeyang some credit. It was an appealing factor to Zachiarius.

"I appreciate how passionate you are, and I like how you stand up for yourself." Zachiarius complemented, the words had slipped passed his lips before he thought about it. That usually happened, for him, it was the norm to speak his mind. Taeyang seemed like someone who would always stand by his beliefs, Zachiarius was the same way. It was a bonuses that Taeyang could be so honest with him, even if he hated him right now. Then he shrugged, "I suppose I should show you my room..."

Then regardless if Taeyang wanted to see it or not, he opened the door and walked in, flicking the switch on. The walls were painted a light blue, blending into a navy blue that finally blended into black at the ceiling. The exception were several spots throughout the ceiling, that when looked at closely, were actually stars. The walls were painted like the sky. His bed was covered with plain navy blue blanket, white sheets and pillows. The wood of the dresser, closet and bed frame were a rich dark brown. On the dresser stood three frames, one of Zachiarius himself, one of him and James smiling, and the last photo had Zachiarius surrounded by about twenty other kids, one sat on his shoulders and he two in his arms. They were the kids from the orphanage...

"I... Have a fascination with astronomy." Zachiarius said, feeling pleased with his rooms design. He had painted himself, the stars even glowed in the dark. Childish to an extent, yes, but Zachiarius liked it that way.

James smiled at what Minjun said, "They can do it, I believe in Zachiarius. Over time I bet they will get along well. Perhaps us becoming friends should help?" James offered a hand to Minjun, one of friendship, "And maybe we can visit you guys at your own home sometime soon?"

Taeyang wasn't the easiest to deal with. Especially when it came to situations he wasn't altogether comfortable with. He had been raised in a pack oriented enviroment where the pack was the most important thing in his life. He would protect the pack, defend the pack, and stand with the pack. Omega or not. When Taeyang had been pulled into a meeting with the elders and Minjun, he had known something was up. He just would have never thought that what would be proposed in the meeting was an arranged marriage.....especially with another male, one younger than him nonetheless and of vampire blood.

Taeyang hadn't been one to keep his displeasure silent and though the elders offered him an escape should he not enjoy the marriage in a month's time, Taeyang knew he would avoid taking the easy way out if he could help it. He had made a promise to the brother they had lost. He had sworn he would protect the rest of their siblings to the last of his strenght. If it meant marriage to a vampire, then he would swallow his pride and do so. However, he couldn't just force himself to submit to the younger male without hesitation. Instincts weren't easy to fight off. Especially when he had lived through so much bloodshed between their two species.

Nevertheless Taeyang would try. If not only for his family, then also because this other male didn't seem quite as bad as he had thought. He seemed almost acceptable if Taeyang lowered his guard just a bit.

Blinking when Zachiarius complimented him, Taeyang felt the threads of mild embarrassment at a younger male performing such actions around him. More so, a vampire he had only just met.

"Yes well, that's how my siblings and I were raised. It doesn't matter whether we have the alpha, beta, or omega gene running through our blood. A pack is only as strong as its weakest member. Thus no member should be weak enough to break" he replied quietly, with a small shrug. Those very same words were what he remembered his parents telling him when he was just a pup himself. It's what had kept him strong and determined for so long.

"You seem rather wise for a young one. I suppose I won't have to worry about defending you around my pack to much then" Taeyang commented with a small hint of acceptance and appreciation in his voice.

Following the other male into his room, Taeyang looked around curiously, head tilting every now and again when he found something of interest in the vampire's bedroom. Approaching the pictures subtly even as he looked at the skillfully painted bedroom, Taeyang bent down a bit to peer a bit closer at what the frames held.

"You seem to be quite a favorite among all these little ones. They truly seem to hold a deep affection for you" he remarked before flickering his gaze back at the vampire and allowed a tiny amused smile to lift his serious features "Then again, it would be hard for little ones to resist someone who decorates their room with colors and designs of childlike innocence".

There was no sarcasm or criticism in his tone, more like he was slowly coming to somewhat accept what he was seeing of the vampire he was meant to marry.

Gazing at the hand James held out to him, Minjun flickered his eyes back up to the vampire before slowly uncrossing one hand from his chest and reaching out to lightly clasp James out held limb. "Perhaps we could give a friendship between us a try.....As for visiting us at our home, I would have to discuss that with the rest of our pack. Not all of us are taking this news as easily.....Maybe we can organize a meeting between us in Taeyang's club tomorrow night. Seeing how the pack behaves around you two there, we could move things to our home next" he suggested with calm, almost friendliness one could say.

"You have siblings?" Zachiarius hummed curiously. "How many siblings do you have, if I may ask? I don't have siblings, the only child." The vampire decided to sit on the edge of his bed, he felt that there was less tension right now and for that he was thankful. He didn't bother making a comment about needing someone to defend him, though to have someone on his side would be nice. Zachiarius also made the mental note that Taeyang brought up him visiting his pack, which sounded like an okay idea, as long as violence didn't break out. He would hope that Taeyang would step up if something like that happened, yet it made Zachiarius feel bad that he would have to, in a sense, use Taeyang against his family.

Family... Zachiarius never technically had one... But that didn't matter... So when Taeyang pointed at the frame with all the kids he was with, a soft smile formed on his lips. "Those were the other orphans, some of which were not actually vampires, they were human and before you assume anything, no, I didn't bite any of them. I lived there from the age of five until eighteen when they kicked me out." Zachiarius paused, gazing at the photo, "I was known as 'big brother' even though I wasn't related to any of them. I took care of them, looked after them. They are my family..." He spoke fondly of them as he really was related to him, which he did care for them. "It was hard to be in an orphanage sometimes... Especially when it felt like no one wanted you... I can't tell you how many times I had to stay up to comfort one of them."

Talking about the other orphans made Zachiarius' feel bitter sweet. It was bitter because most of them still lived there at the orphanage, yet it was sweet knowing that many of them will get adopted because they were so young. "To say the least, it wasn't just my artistic skills they liked... Admit it, you like my childish room." He chuckled, "Anyway, I try to visit them at least once a week. They swarm around me like bees to a hive. I love all of them and it makes me happy that they call me their older brother, probably because I don't have siblings." It may have also been because he had no one to actually call family... Well, actually until now... Taeyang would be his fiance... That was still an interesting concept to him... One that he would have to get use to.

At least it showed that he could handle kids. He supposed that was a beneficial quality. "If you want, I could bring you one time I go..?"

James nodded, shaking the others' hand, "That's fine, say the time and we'll be there that's for sure. Zachiarius will want to go, he had always wanted to be a bartender but no one would hire him because he's technically not twenty-one yet." he chuckled.

"We used to be 8 in total, though we've lost 2 of us already. All my siblings are male, however we've recently added a few women to our family through several of my brothers finding mates. So I suppose you can say I have 3 sisters now" Taeyang replied a bit absentmindedly. It still hurt to think of the two brothers that they had lost as they had grown, yet Taeyang knew that their spirit was still with the pack. At least he liked to think their spirit remained. It softened the knowledge that their brothers had been taken from them far to soon in life.

Turning his body a bit to be able to look at Zachiarius a bit more directly as he spoke, Taeyang blinked curiously at the other male. "I suppose you'll be part of my family now as well, considering that I am meant to be married to you....The others just need to approve of you before they accept you into our pack" he mussed thoughtfully. It truly would be interesting to see how the rest of his family reacted to seeing Zachiarius for the first time after knowing he was going to technically be Taeyang's "husband". For the most part, he knew his pack tried to keep the peace between their two species, however, tensions had been running a bit high lately. Hopefully everything would go fairly well.

Looking back at the picture that had gotten his attention as Zachiarius spoke, Taeyang frowned slightly at the words. "I can't begin to imagine a life without having a blood related family. Especially for little ones. They were lucky to have you with them, I'm sure you were their main source of support and light during the hard times they faced....Truthfully, I would not wish being an orphan to anyone. However, I can't help but respect those who have managed to make it so far on their own. One can only hope that they find a place they truly belong soon" Taeyang said. He wouldn't name Zachiarius as he spoke, but he did provide an indirect compliment towards the vampire.

Scoffing softly at the vampire's attempt for humor, Taeyang fought the tiny twitch of his lips while saying "You must have lost your mind". A slight touch of amusement barely decorated his voice at that.

Blinking and turning to face Zachiarius once more when the vampire invited him to go meet his "family", Taeyang didn't know what to say for a moment. He might very well like children, but he wouldn't be to sure how to handle them with Zachiarius there. "Perhaps one day I will accompany you....when you have informed the children of the fact that I am interested in seeing them. I would not want to impose during your time with them" he said carefully.

Chuckling at what James said about how no one wanted to hire Zachiarius because of his age, Minjun released the vampire's hand. Crossing his arms again, the wolf grinned saying "I'll see if I can convince Tae about hiring Zachiarius.....I just hope your boy will be able to handle the pressure. Taeyang's club caters to multiple supernatural creatures, not just humans....You two should meet us there at around 9 ish tomorrow night. It would give your boy a taste of what he could possibly be getting himself into in working for Tae".

Zachiarius took a moment to process what Taeyang said about them being a family... That was certainly true now that he thought about it. "I suppose you are right... We would be family..." He hummed as his left hand brushed his chin in a thinking manner, "It would seem that my family keeps getting bigger..." Realizing this new information made Zachiarius feel decently happy about the ordeal. Zachiarius also noted, that in the short amount of time of talking to Taeyang, luckily, they were not at each other's throats seemingly about to tear each other apart. Another thing that Zachiarius noticed was that they were referring to themselves as a couple... Or at least in the sense of the future... Fiance... 'We'... Family... Together... Marriage... Husband...

Relief, that's mostly what Zachiarius felt. If this kept progressing like it was, he was absolutely positive that they could actually get along. He listened to Taeyang and how he talked about the orphans, speaking about some of his sympathy towards them as well as commend them for their strength. Zachiarius couldn't help but to smile, he had caught the underline compliment. Thought Taeyang didn't explicitly say... Zachiarius knew all to well that he was right. "Awe..." The vampire cooed, smirking slightly, this time not mocking the wolf, "Was that a compliment?" He chuckled, "I'm flattered." It was okay that Taeyang didn't say his name directly, he didn't want to take all the credit. After all, Zachiarius believed that the children were strong, even without him, they just needed a push in the right direction. And then he commented on his room, "Come on, you got to admit, my room is pretty cool."

Then Zachiarius got off of his bed, stretching his arms above his head and sighed, "No but seriously, you don't have to worry. If you ever want to visit, just say so. The kids would much rather be surprised, they are kids after all, and I am sure they wouldn't mind having someone else to call 'big brother' However, if you really want me to, I'll tell them in advance. If they know that we are friends, I'm sure they'll take a liking to you very quick." Then Zachiarius began to lead the way out of his room, he headed into the hall, not bothering to even shut his door. After that he showed Taeyang the bathroom, again a simple design, bath/shower, toilet, sink, cabinet/closet. Then he briefly opened James' room, "Now I'm pretty sure we shouldn't go in there, because I think he does witchcraft..." Zachiarius snorted, obviously joking about his friend in a childish way.

"Huh, okay... so that's the upstairs..." Zachiarius stated blandly and started to head down the stairs.

There was a mutual agreement as well as understanding between Minjun and James. "I'm sure Zachiarius will take whatever Taeyang throws at him head-on. Zachiarius will give it all he's got, that's for sure."

Adding vampires into a pack strictly oriented around werewolves and a few other kind of Weres would be interesting to say the least. Taeyang was a bit cautious of how the first encounter between their two species would be given the circumstances of the situation, yet he had hopes that everything would be fine. With Minjun leading them and with Taeyang's clear consent to the marriage between Zachiarius and himself, the pack would not have much of a ground to cause trouble under. Prides be damned and wariness forgotten, for the sake of all of them they would just have to suck up whatever disagreements they had and accept the change that was coming into play.

"Don't take it to personally, kid. Unless you earn them, my compliments will be scarce and few in between" Taeyang huffed though his voice held no venom behind it. He might not want to admit it, but this vampire wasn't as bad as he would have imagined. The caution still remained, yet he was growing more and more curious about the other man the more time they spent together and spoke. Rolling his eyes at the mention of the room, Taeyang gazed around in mild mock excitement while saying "Yes your room is breathtakingly 'cool'. I could only dream to be able to match my own bedroom with yours. It would be dream come true".

Perhaps his words could have been taken as Taeyang teasing the other male, who knew. ".....All mocking aside, I could admit that you have an artistic talent to your being" he mussed after a few seconds, taking in the colors of the room with a genuine interest in his lilac colored eyes.

Taeyang studied Zachiarius for a few more moments as the man spoke. His mind stubbornly focusing on his words while his wolfish half gradually began to find the appeal in the vampire's body as he stretched. "If you want to surprise the little ones, then provide me with a day that would be best. I will try to free my time to head towards the orphanage" he finally said when he managed to pushed his wolf down in order to not be overly distracted by his irritating animal side. It was obvious to him that his wolf had little quarrels about accepting a mate from another species.

Following Zachiarius out of the room, Taeyang took his time to look around the bathroom. Smirking at what the vampire said about his friend, Taeyang couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped him. "My my, a vampire who is learning witchcraft....I don't know if I should find that worrying or merely troublesome" he said with a light laugh. Continuing after Zachiarius as they began to head downstairs again, Taeyang allowed himself a moment to say "You're home is not as bad as I had assumed. Perhaps I might consider staying a time or two".

Hearing Minjun's hearty laughter from just below them, Taeyang couldn't stop the answering little smile that lifted the corners of his lips. Had he been with his pack, he would probably be fully grinning at the sound of his brother's laugh. Here though, he was holding himself back a bit.

"I like your boy already! Of course it's one thing to speak with confidence, it's another to see how Zachiarius actually behaves in a hectic enviroment such as the club" Minjun said under good nature, lilac eyes turning to look in the direction of the stairs the moment he caught the scent of his younger sibling approaching.

"Oh? You're compliments are scarce?" Zachiarius hummed, ignoring the fact that Taeyang called him a kid, "Well, then I'm honored to have received a compliment from the great Taeyang." He sounded as if he was joking yet at the same time, truly flattered. At the mention of Taeyang saying his room was 'cool' the vampire let out a laugh, "Well, you can have a slumber party in my room if you want, the stars glow in the dark..." He teased lightly, "I think my room pretty cool too... Regardless... In general, you can visit me anytime, just give me a heads up."

"Well, if you're free Friday, that's when I like to go and I go every Friday if I can help it... Sometimes I spend the night with them." He informed the wolf. The kids would surely love to meet his fiance, though he wasn't sure if he should mention that Taeyang was his fiance... Would they understand that concept? Perhaps he should only mention that they were friends..? When Taeyang commented about his friend, Zachiarius snapped out of his thoughts, he too let out a laugh, "I'd say troublesome." While walking down the stairs, Zachiarius took moment to glance back at Taeyang, he smiled, "Like I said, you're welcome to stay whenever. After all this is now your home too." They made their way downstairs where Zachiarius could hear Minjun laughing..? It seemed that James held up fairly well while he was gone.

Zachiarius walked into the living room waving his hand in a 'hello' at Minjun, he was immediately casual with James, "Hey, James, you're still alive." He said sarcastically and snapping his fingers, "Darn."

James scoffed at Zachiarius' comment and mocked him with his reply, "Man, and here I thought for sure Taeyang would end you." The two men smiled at each other for a moment before James spoke again, "So... How did the tour go? I mean, you're alive but..?"

There was a shrug from Zachiarius, "Well, I only showed Taeyang the upstairs so..." With that being said, James glared at his friend, expectantly, because Zachiarius should have known he meant the whole house... A sigh escaped Zachiarius as he crossed his arms and furrowed his brows. "Hey, at least we got along." And that was true, there seemingly wasn't any tension in the room at all, that by simply talking to one another, they were all comfortable now, in the same space.

"Ah..." James started to say as he caught on, noticing something that Zachiarius usually wasn't aware of, "You have a knack for that don't you? The ultimate peacekeeper... Not even Taeyang can hate you?"

"Ask Taeyang yourself." Zachiarius chuckled and James swatted him on the back of the head.

"That's one hell of a knack to have Zachiarius, probably why you were picked." James suggested and glanced at the other two men in the room, "I don't know how this fool does it... But no one can simply hate Zachiarius. I mean, when I met him, I just wanted to punch his face..." His eye brow twitched, "It bugs me to no end..."

And that was when Zachiarius poked James' cheek and said, "Awe, it's okay James. We're still friends right?"

A smile formed on his friends face as he sighed, "Yes, Zachiarius."

"I'll consider you're invitation" Taeyang replied smoothly enough. He couldn't really see himself passing the night in this room with Zachiarius, but sooner rather then later the the elders would consider that requirement. It was nice to know that Zachiarius was leaving the choice up to him in a way, as to when he would come spend the night at the home of a species he still thought of his enemy in a way. Not being forced to do something just because he was an omega, was always a nice thing. Perhaps marriage towards this younger creature wouldn't be as bad as he had thought.

Nodding when Zachiarius mentioned a day to go see the children he usually spent his time with, Taeyang thought he could manage to show up on a Friday. Yes, owning and managing a club took up most of his time but he was truly curious as to see these orphans the vampire mentioned with such affection in his voice. "I'll try to free up a Friday to accompany you then. Perhaps this Friday coming up would be a good day for this visit" he replied.

Smiling a bit at the comment Zachiarius said about his fellow vampire, Taeyang could do little else but shake his head in mild exasperation as he continued after the younger male. A small hint of genuine warmth touched the wolf's heart when Zachiarius told him that this was Taeyang's home now as well. He didn't really know why but it made him appreciate the vampire just a hint more. "We will see" he murmured quietly, growing ever more eager to get to Minjun by the mere sound of his brother's voice.

It took only a second for him to lock his gaze where his eldest brother stood. Moving towards him in a casual yet quick manner, every amount of tension he might have been holding melting off in seconds, Taeyang took his place beside his brother again. It was something he couldn't really explain clearly to anyone that was not a werewolf. The sheer relief of seeing your pack alpha again after being separated from him in unfamiliar lands, was breathtaking.

Logically Taeyang knew he probably wasn't in any danger around Zachiarius, however, Minjun had always meant protection, comfort and a safe haven for him. Even as a child he had never been one keen to let people take him from Minjun's side. Maybe one day, he might look to his fiancée with the same love he held for his brother. Who knew.

Offering Zachiarius a small friendly smile at the wave the man shot him, Minjun wasted no time in gently reaching out to wrap a protective, loving arm around his brother's shoulders.

Minjun chuckled at the sight of the two friends playful banter and though he wasn't as completely open as his brother, even Taeyang couldn't fight the small smile that made its way onto his face.

"I suppose it takes a bit of time to grow used to Zachiarius's personality. Honestly though, I truly am surprised Taeyang didn't take a swipe at him yet....peacemaker or not" Minjun put in lightly, nudging his brother playfully with his hip.

"He hasn't given me enough reason to want to rip his head off yet" Taeyang responded in a casual tone, something that had Minjun laughing again.

"You're just being modest. You like him and you know it....Where Zachiarius has patience and the talent to create peace, you have the spirit and strenght to hold the peace intact and keep each party happy, and the determination to see things through to the end....You two will truly balance eachother out" Minjun smiled, earning himself a small roll of the eyes.

"Zachiarius, James tells me you'd be interested in a bartending job....Perhaps you'd like to work for Tae in his club...Of course, if Taeyang agrees" Minjun said after a moment, changing the topic.

"Seriously?" Taeyang asked, raising a brow at his brother before looking over at Zachiarius. "You think you'd have what it takes to work in a club enviroment?" He questioned his....fiancée he supposed he should address the man as.

"Well I'm glad my head is still on my shoulders." Zachiarius, laughed lightly but he really was happy that his head and his body were still one.

"But really, I agree with Minjun." Said James who nodded in approval, "I think you two will definitely work together. You both seemingly compliment each other well. I think it's perfect that you two so happened to be paired up."

So it seemed that Minjun and James were already putting the pieces together, also known as, putting Taeyang and Zachiarius together. Although Zachiarius could see what the other two were thinking, he still wanted to get to know Taeyang more... Sure it was a plus that they seemingly complimented each other's personalities, but Zachiarius wanted a deeper connection... Even though he had only talked about being 'friends', it was more a bridge to make Taeyang comfortable. Zachiarius wasn't the type of guy to force people to do things they really didn't want to do. Thus if Taeyang only wanted to have a friendly type of relationship than so be it. They were being forced into a marriage after all...

When Minjun mentioned and suggested that Taeyang actually did like him, Zachiarius found himself a little nervous and excited at the same time. Taeyang hadn't denied the fact either, only a roll of the eyes could signify his deniability. Zachiarius was happy to know that his future... fiance, yes he should start to referring to Taeyang as his fiance now, was actually attempting to get along. The burden wasn't as heavy if the both of them worked together...

Zachiarius didn't think about it too often but when he did, he came to the realization that his fiance was actually appealing to the eye, or at least to his. Overall he was thankful that Taeyang was not a woman. Being gay had its perks... Zachiarius liked men. Taeyang was handsome, Zachiarius' mind declared once his eyes actually absorbed his figure. If anything, Taeyangs eyes were... very pretty. Well then. At least he didn't have to worry about being attracted to Taeyang, if it ever came to that. Zachiarius was serious earlier when he said he had a thing for biting...

Then Zachiarius found himself being addressed by Minjun, he turned his head, giving him his attention. At the first mention of Taeyang owning a club, Zachiarius' ears perked. "Awe, see, now that's so not fair..." Zachiarius pouted for a moment and crossed his arms. "Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I'm a little envious of the fact that Taeyang own's a club... I've always wanted to be a bartender but I get shot down every time because I'm not 'old' enough. I'd be quite happy if I could be considered. It doesn't matter what kind of club it is. I'll take on whatever job you throw at me." Zachiarius declared, there was a twinkle in his eyes as he spoke. "Do I have to do an interview or can I have special privileges?" Zachiarius chuckled.

It would be great if he could finally get the job as a bartender. Zachiarius didn't know why, but the job just looked appealing to him. He could meet tons of people, watch people get drunk and have a laugh or two while watching the stupid things they do. He could create drinks, make different combinations and learn on the job. Plus a club environment would offer a different variety of people to the mix. To say the least, it all sounded fun and interesting to Zachiarius... A brief thought came to Zachiarius' mind, he wondered if Taeyang or even Minjun had ever been drunk. Zachiarius himself had never... He was under the drinking age...

Then suddenly, James shifted his attention to Zachiarius and then asked, "Don't you ever get jealous, Zachiarius?"

"What do you mean, James?" Zachiarius asked, completely confused to what the other was referring to.

"I mean, aren't you a little jealous of Minjun?" James said, pointing at the other two, "How he can hug Taeyang, and you can't." It would seem that James was trying to get Zachiarius to react a certain way...

But of course Zachiarius seemed to be oblivious to James' intentions. He tilted his head, glancing at Minjun and Taeyang, then back at James, "I don't get it... Why would I get jealous? They are brothers. I don't care if Taeyang wants to hug his brother. That's his family. He cares for his family as much as they care for him, I wouldn't take him away from that." He wouldn't take away Taeyangs' family from him, Zachiarius knew what it was like to not have any family supporting him... Plus, he knew that Taeyang was really close to his pack. That would probably be incredibly rude to take him away from it, not to mention Taeyang would more than likely hate him. Zachiarius didn't want that.

Glaring at his brother when it became clear what he and James were trying to do, Taeyang huffed under his breath and gave his head a brief shake. Honestly, sometimes people truly wore on him, even if those people happened to be part of his pack. For years they had been trying to push him towards werewolves they thought acceptable for him. Taeyang hadn't found any of them remotely interesting though. Now that he was technically "engaged", Minjun seemed to be at it again. And this time he had James to back him up.

How bothersome.

Flickering his gaze over at Zachiarius when he felt eyes on him, Taeyang felt a thread of unease go through him at the intensity of the man's stare. More so when Zachiarius eyes swept up and down his body before settling on his eyes. Taking a small, unconscious step closer to Minjun, Taeyang silently lowered his gaze to the ground in a subtle sign of.....submissive embarrassment one could say. He might have been used to being stared at by several people he encountered, but for some reason it was different with Zachiarius. The man had a way of getting subtle reactions from Taeyang that rarely anyone knew how to.

Feeling grateful when Minjun managed to distract Zachiarius a bit, Taeyang lifted his gaze to his brother again as his fiancée spoke. Finding his eyes going back to Zachiarius, Taeyang smirked saying "You'll take any job I give you.....Huh that leaves room for imagination, now doesn't it".

"Now now, Tae. Don't give the boy a crap job. You know the elders wouldn't find him performing a strip tease to be amusing" Minjun laughed, matching lilac eyes as his brother sparkled in laughter.

"That would be an interesting job to propose for him....but it would lead to far to much trouble. He might be rather attractive, nonetheless, the elders would definitely throw a fit. Not to mention I would actually have to build him a stage....Hmm, I think I'll just see how he does as a bartender. Of course that is after he sees the club for himself....I won't know if he can handle it without seeing for myself his reaction" Taeyang chuckled. His eyes narrowed a bit at his fiancée when Zachiarius asked about any special privileges. "No you won't have to be interviewed and the only privilege you will get is to remain on my passive side by doing what you're supposed to do" he remarked, tone not as dire as his words implied. If anything it could be said that he was mildly amused by his fiancée's antics, even if Zachiarius's words had a small shiver run down his back.

"Don't pay him much mind, Zachiarius. I'm sure you'll be able to sneak whatever you want as privileges off Taeyang as long as you don't give him time to protest" Minjun grinned, wincing a bit when Taeyang elbowed his ribs.

"You're horrible as a brother and pack alpha" Taeyang mumbled under his breath as he glared at him.

"I try" his brother replied in a cheerful tone, teasing smile holding no hesitation on making its home on Minjun's face.

Both brothers tilted their heads slightly when James questioned Zachiarius about being jealous. By Minjun's soft chuckle, Taeyang knew his brother found the whole prospect of the topic, funny.

"You're a good man, Zachiarius. Many would have thought differently. See while it's not common to see grown men cuddling eachother, when you're a werewolf...that's just what you do. It comes with the territory. Wolves crave physical contact with their family and loved ones, so you'll be seeing a lot more of this later on. You might see a bit of it at the club, the most of it will be in our home" Minjun explained with a light tone of voice before adding mischievously "Then again, James, if you want to see your boy truly jealous....just wait until you come to the club. It's a whole new ball game there".

"Don't start stirring up the waters, Minjun. You'll make things more troublesome then they have to be" Taeyang sighed, his exasperation for his sibling growing with the minutes.

"I'm just saying it as it is. Your fiancée is going to have to stake his claim sooner or later" Minjun shrugged, easy humor in his voice. Slipping his arm off of Taeyang's shoulders, he gave his brother a light nudge towards Zachiarius while adding "In fact, why don't you go over there and get some of your fiancée's scent on you to ward off your suitors tonight".

"Over my dead and rotting corpse" Taeyang instantly replied, a lightly touch of pink graced his cheeks at his brother's words, clearly not at all finding the statement acceptable. There was no way he was going to do that. It would probably just enlarge the younger man's ego. Truly, having brought Minjun along had been a definite wrong move. He should have known that once his brother relaxed into the enviroment a bit, he would playfully begin to behave like this.

Zachiarius hummed when Taeyang talked about him taking on any job and leaving it for his 'imagination'. He couldn't help but to be even more amused when Minjun mentioned Zachiarius doing a striptease. Zachiarius himself found that the idea wasn't too bad, though he wasn't sure if he would have the guts to do it in front of a crowd of people... "Imagination indeed, I bet Taeyang wouldn't mind, or at least maybe in the future, if I gave him a striptease. I don't know about doing it in public, but I think I would be okay if it was just us..." He let that comment slip out. It was what he was thinking anyway, he was honest to say the least.

What Minjun said after that made Zachiarius smirk and chuckle, "No time to protest, huh?" His eyes drifting towards Taeyang again. It amused him to think that Taeyang could be persuaded... If Zachiarius got Minjuns' drift of what he meant correctly... It would suggest that Taeyang could be swayed by temptation...

Seemingly with ease the conversation shifted. Zachiarius as well as James were both finding the conversation to be entertaining and light. Both men appeared to show no signs of being tense in the situation. Really, if Zachiarius was relaxed, so was James. Zachiarius was very understanding when it came to Minjun and Taeyang being so close. They were family, and Zachiarius had thought that it should have been obvious that werewolves liked to be close and nit together. That's why he wasn't bothered. Family was Family. Period.

Then Minjun talked a little bit about the club and how Zachiarius would need to 'stake a claim' sometime sooner or later... And by the looks of it, sooner, like right then and there apparently. Zachiarius watched as Minjun let go of Taeyang and nudged him slightly forward. And of course James seemed to get a clue, he nudged Zachiarius towards Taeyang, "Now why don't you help? Go protect your fiance from other suitors."

Once Zachiarius was nudged forward, his brows furrowed and he looked back at James- who gave him a nod, then Minjun- who gave him a thumbs up, and finally Taeyang- who wouldn't look at him. He was going to decline, seeing as Taeyang looked like he didn't want him to touch him- but hold up! Zachiarius blinked, so he wasn't hallucinating... Taeyang was blushing a little... So perhaps there was a chance..? Zachiarius decided to take it, for the better or worse he didn't know. Zachiarius inhaled and then let out a sigh, because that might have been the last breath he would be taking... Hopefully not.

"Taeyang..?" Zachiarius called out calmly, "Minjun is your brother right?" Zachiarius took a step forward while maintaining eye contact, "He's your family, correct?" And another step, slowly, "I'll be a part of your family too, am I wrong?" Now he was within arms length. Zachiarius shrugs lightly, thinking about the careful words he was going to say next, "It's just a hug... So just hug me like someone who's been missing from the pack for a long time." And with that, Zachiarius dared to pull Taeyang into his arms, a proper hug that consisted of both arms. "See? A hug isn't that bad, is it?"

Eyes widening at Zachiarius's words, Taeyang found himself at a loss for words. He should have a witty comeback, something to put the younger male in his place after a statement such as that one, yet for the life of him, Taeyang couldn't think of anything. Rarely had he ever found himself simply gapping at someone, it was simply not like him at all....and yet here he stood. Staring in shock at Zachiarius as he continued to speak and looking at him in a way that sent another mild shiver down his back. His eyes locked with Zachiarius for a few more moments before he looked away and tried to regain his wit.

"Don't get too excited, whatever you have running through your head, it's not likely to happen. Keep your hands and intentions to yourself" he huffed softly. The fact that his brother wasn't helping him at all was not entirely amusing yet he should have suspected his sibling of doing as much. Minjun may still be rather weary of the opposing party but he was hiding it well enough. There was a reason his brother truly was the pack leader. Nevertheless, weary or not, clearly Minjun had found something he liked in these two vampires to openly tease Taeyang in front of them and accept their backing to his comments.

Glaring at Minjun's laughing eyes when his brother made no effort to drag him back to his side after gently pushing him towards Zachiarius, Taeyang stiffened at James words. Eyes instantly snapping towards the vampire pair, Taeyang felt his unease rise to maximum proportions. He wasn't ready to be pushed towards the other male. At least he didn't think he was. His pride wasn't ready to have to carry another man's scent around just to ward off other creatures or humans that could potentially be interested. Taeyang could protect and fight off unwanted advances himself without the help of his Alpha fiancée's scent covering him.

And yet as Zachiarius locked gazes with him and moved towards him, Taeyang couldn't muster the strenght to move away. If anything, he did a good job of creating an impression of a deer caught in headlights.

Swallowing silently, Taeyang felt nervousness cause his heart to pick up rate and his palms to become a bit moist. Instinctively after a moment he felt his body shift back to take a tiny step away from the approaching vampire. Wide lilac eyes were unable to tear away from Zachiarius as the vampire continued his approach. In the back of his mind, Taeyang was reeling at his utter inability to do anything....however, honestly at that moment he didn't know what to do.

Zachiarius made it sound so easy. To just hug him....as if he had been a lost member of the pack. Yet how could he when Zachiarius was so different than they were. His scent was different. His species was different. His knowledge of pack life was limited to near nothing. How could an omega who had a pride big enough to fuel him to stand up for himself despite his submissive gene, just calmly embrace an Alpha he had just met. He wasn't a needy, whiney, pathetic Omega. Taeyang felt that he could handle anything that came his way without a mate.....but Zachiarius just made him feel different. Something Taeyang couldn't understand.

If Taeyang had been stiff before, then he must have felt as solid as a pillar of ice once Zachiarius finally stepped close enough to embrace him. It took a instant for the strong scent of vampire to hit him like a bulldozer. A scent he had always acknowledged as something belonging to the enemy, yet now it belonged to the man he was meant to marry. It was strong, and somewhat unnerving yet Taeyang felt himself subconsciously relaxing at the feel of Zachiarius's arms around him. He couldn't put his finger on why yet, but the vampire gave him an odd feeling of security. Almost like what Minjun made him feel, yet not as intense.....Not yet at least.

Catching himself just as he gave into one of his more primitive urges and took a light sniff of Zachiarius's neck in the midst of giving it a light nuzzle, Taeyang released a soft growl and raised his hands to firmly place them on Zachiarius's chest. Whatever tension had melted away from him while he had relaxed in the vampire's arms, came back full force when his brain kicked into gear again. Pushing against the chest he was held to, Taeyang snarled softly "You have two seconds to get your hands off me before I tear you limb from limb, brat". He didn't have as much bite or acid in his voice as he could have had, yet Taeyang didn't care at the moment.

Hearing Minjun's muffled chuckle from a few feet away didn't help the situation. In fact, it only caused Taeyang to push against Zachiarius's chest more firmly.

"Would you just relax and enjoy the hug. You were doing just fine a moment ago! I was even considering giving you two some space!" Minjun exclaimed, clear entertainment in his voice.

"I'm going to take great pleasure of putting my foot so up your ass you won't be pooping straight for week, brother" Taeyang growled loudly. His obvious flustered struggles giving way for the use of rough language towards his sibling. Something that made the other man laugh all the more.

Zachiarius felt his heart thump the moment Taeyang was in his arms. Taeyang was actually a decent huger, and by that it means Taeyangs hugs were actually really nice... despite being stiff for a moment. It was a surprise to Zachiarius how Taeyang went from stiff to suddenly enjoying the hug. In fact the wolf was starting to nuzzle him... The sensation made Zachiarius blush lightly in awe. He didn't think Taeyang would warm up to him so nicely and there for a moment Zachiarius had almost laid his head onto Taeyangs' shoulder. However he couldn't because he was enjoying the hug too much. Zachiarius closed his eyes for a brief moment, blush gone by now, letting his sense take over, inhaling the scent that would be his new lover...

While Zachiarius couldn't pin down what Taeyang smelled like, he thought he smelled decent enough. Friendly and even a little comfortable. But then suddenly he hear a growl coming from Taeyang, Zachiarius opened his eyes right when Taeyang put his hands on his chest. Right then, Zachiarius' eye brow twitched. That was unexpected. Then Taeyangs' threat reached Zachiarius' ears but for some reason he didn't feel threatened. And when Taeyang threatened his brother, Zachiarius let out a laugh, still holding onto Taeyang. "You know... I think it's kind of cute to watch you squirm in my arms." The words fell out of his mouth easy, he smiled, a light blush came to his face as he admitted that out loud. He wasn't much for public display of affection but someone he couldn't help it... Zachiarius couldn't hold back with Taeyang.

Taeyang didn't look happy that he said that, so Zachiarius decided he wouldn't torture the poor wolf for too much longer, even though he liked holding onto him. Zachiarius, overall, liked hugs a lot and it didn't bother him not one bit if Taeyang wanted to be clingy... "If you ever want to nuzzle me again, you don't have to ask." He teased and was about to let go before he decided he had to do one more thing. "Here, let me give you something to remember me by-" And without asking, Zachiarius leaned down and kissed Taeyangs' forehead. He didn't feel that either of them were ready yet to share a first kiss, so he left it at that. "There..."

After that Zachiarius released Taeyang, smiling softly and also taking a step back.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hearing Zachiarius's words about watching him squirm, Taeyang snarled loudly as his face burned with indignation and embarrassment. He was not cute. He was not adorable. And he was not some submissive Omega that would roll onto his back and bare his throat to his mate. He was none of that. He was Minjun's third born brother. Older sibling to three youngsters and owner of a widely known club throughout the supernatural community. He was no one to be trifled with and no younger male would make him sound like a pup in his own ears. He might have to marry this vampire, but he wasn't going to go down easily. He had his integrity and pride to consider. He had a reputation to uphold and a pack to protect.

As if he was not embarrassed enough already, Zachiarius had to add on to his previous statement. His teasing holding no end. Feeling the beginnings of his hair starting to rise on edge as a clear testament on how close he was to shifting into his full wolf form and making this foolish young vampire eat his words about "cute", Taeyang froze when a kiss was pressed against his forehead. If his lilac eyes had been wide when Zachiarius had hugged him, they were the size of plates now that the vampire had pressed a kiss on his flesh. His lips parted in a mild gap as he stared at the vampire, not quite understanding what had happened. Subconsciously a hand rose to have his fingers brush against the still tingling stretch of skin while his mind tried to rewire itself yet again.

As usual, it took Minjun's soft snickering to snap him out of his daze like state.

Feeling his cheeks flush deeply again, Taeyang glared at the vampire under thick black lashes saying "Do that again and I promise you, I'll make whatever injuries you have suffered throughout your existence feel like a love tap compared to what I'll do". His voice coming out in a deep, guttural yet clearly flustered growl.

Spinning on his heel, Taeyang stalked towards his quietly laughing brother. Not pausing for even a moment, he reached out and snatched his pack Alpha's arm and tugged him along, taking great pleasure in the yelp of mild pain Minjun released when Taeyang's claws dug lightly into the flesh of his arm. "We are leaving, brother. Say your goodbyes. We have much to attend to when we return home" he snarled softly, ignoring Minjun's soft whining under his breath.

Sighing and looking back towards the pair of vampires as he was dragged backwards by his younger brother, Minjun raised his free arm and waved at the two. "I hope you both have a good rest of the evening! We'll see you at the club tomorrow. Remember, be there around 9 ish so you can meet the rest of the pack!" He called back to them as Taeyang opened the front door and slipped out of the manor, his grip never once slipping from his eldest sibling as they both headed back the way they had come.

Zachiarius thought about replying sarcastically to what Taeyang had said about injuring him, but he held his breath. Taeyang looked like he was going to snap on him and Zachiarius didn't want to provoke anymore than he already had. In addition, Zachiarius found it a little alarming that Taeyang almost seemed insulted. He didn't mean to insult Taeyang if he did. But before he could even ask, Taeyang was already making his way out. Zachiarius knew that Taeyang wasn't completely mad, no, he was more embarrassed than anything. And that, was completely okay.

Once they were gone Zachiarius turned to James, a peculiar smirk upon his face. "Where's my money?"

A scowl mad its way to James' face, "And here I thought you would forget. You ass. You totally just ruined the moment-"

"What are you talking about, James? I not only showed my fiance around the home or get beaten up, but I also hugged and kissed his forehead, what more do you want from me, man?" Interrupted Zachiarius, crossing his arms across his chest. "But besides that, I can't wait to go tomorrow and your negativity won't bring me down. I'm getting that job and you're just jealous."

"And what exactly makes you think I am jealous?" Inquired James as he raised a brow at his friend.

"I'm going to get a job tomorrow and you have to pay me your weeks worth pay." Zachiarius winked. James rolled his eyes, bickering under his breath, mentioning that he wouldn't do the bet again. He forked over his money to Zachiarius who was all smiles, "Thank you."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever..." James sighed and then cleared his throat. "So what did you think about your fiance, now that you've met him?"

There was a paused from Zachiarius as he thought. "Well... I think he's a little feisty, and I kind of like that about him. I mean, he also has pretty eyes I suppose. Stands up for himself. Bold... And I'm not trying to get ahead of myself when I say this, but, I do think we could get along..."

"More than friends?" James playfully nudged Zachiarius, it was clear that he was being suggestive.

It wasn't that Zachiarius disagreed or thought that it wouldn't happen, however he did think it was way to soon to be thinking about something like that. "In all honesty, it's up to him if he wants to go that far... Though I don't see him making the first move despite how much flare he has to him..." Zachiarius commented, brushing his hand through his hair, "Omegas are supposed to be the submissive wolf, right?" It was truly a curious question. Zachiarius knew few things about werewolves, mostly rumors.

There was a nod from James, "Yes they are, however I do not wish to have this conversation with you." This time James was smirking, "Any questions about werewolves can be directed to your fiance. I'm sure he'll enjoy telling you about his kind."

There was a sigh that escaped Zachiarius, "Well then... I guess I am really looking forward to going to the club tomorrow."
