Grumbling under his breath the moment he had left the manor, Taeyang reluctantly released his brother’s arm when they were far enough away and when Minjun’s whining began to make him feel bad. Not in an apologetic way, more or less in a way that made his head begin to hurt. Thus he briefly wished he had never gripped his brother’s arm so hard that would produce such whining from the other man. Taking a deep breath, the younger wolf looked up at the dark sky for several long moments as he gathered his bearings again. He was well aware of Minjun watching him, yet he didn’t really want to ask his brother what he found so interesting.

“Do you hate your chosen mate that badly, brother?” Minjun asked after a moment, all previous notes of playfulness fading from his voice. In its place came the seriousness and protectiveness that grew from being the pack alpha and Taeyang’s older brother.

“I do not hate him….It is just hard for me to lower my pride long enough to accept him. He is nothing but a fledgling compared to me. He hasn’t seen half of what we’ve gone through. I’m more inclined to believe that he has been cuddled all the time amongst the other vampires. He seems innocent to me….and I do not know how to handle it. Mother and Father raised us to be warriors, whether we be Alphas or not. My mate will not understand that I am not like those other Omegas he might one day meet. It may bring about problems” Taeyang confessed softly to his Alpha, keeping his lilac eyes on the sky above them.

“Perhaps you should take the time to discuss those things with him. He might have a different mindset than we do for he has no pack to truly call his own. Nevertheless, I have faith that everything will be well. He seems like a good match for you, young or not. Perhaps his innocence is what you need to lower the guard you have built around your heart towards all those outside the pack….This could very well be a good thing, Tae. Just give it a shot….You won’t lose anything if you try” Minjun advised the smaller wolf with open affection in his slightly darker violet eyes. His love for his brother as clear as day.

“I will see…..Just don’t expect me to always be on my best behavior around him” Taeyang murmured, earning himself a smile from Minjun.

“Yeah yeah. Just try not to scare him off too quickly. He’ll need you on his side for tomorrow. You might have to defend him from the others” Minjun chuckled.

“Gods, don’t even remind me” Taeyang groaned as he followed after his brother on their way home.

-------------------------------------

The next night came a little faster for Taeyang than he had thought. Standing behind the main bar of his cub, he took a sip of his beer as he laughed quietly at a joke one of his packmates had said. Though it was rather early still the club was already well on its way to becoming packed. Just like it was every single night. Come rain or snow, customers, supernatural or not, never failed to pile into the three story building. Of course, that might have to do with the club having a bit of a different layout than others. The first floor consisted of a calmer section. There were a few billiard tables, a few seats and couches laying around and two small bars spread on opposite sides of the room, though it wasn’t dead silent, the music that sounded on the first floor mainly came from the large speakers of a sound system placed behind one of the bars.

On the second floor, the true club area made itself known. The floor consisted of a rather large dance area, the huge main bar placed on a slightly higher leveled floor than the rest of the section, club lights flashing around the room to keep in illuminated as need be, and a DJ station on top of a mini stage. The back wall of the second floor landing was decorated with the cascading drop of water coming from a waterfall like design attached to said wall. Several small tables and chairs were placed around the corners of the room should the customers grow tired of their constant jumping and dancing around and needed a break.

The third and final floor of the club consisted of Taeyang’s personal office and different rooms used by his pack members. Some of the rooms on the third floor were bedrooms should the pack not wish to make the journey back to their large house after closing the club. Others were game rooms the pack could entertain themselves in during the hours the club remained closed in the mornings and afternoons. One of the rooms even consisted of a small kitchen area, stocked with food should anyone of their pack or guests wanted to make food while they were still there.

Truly, Haven was a completely different club than all the others, nevertheless Taeyang and his family loved it here. It was like a second home for them.

Brushing strands of long dark hair away from his face, Taeyang couldn’t help but be grateful that he had pulled his hair into a high ponytail before coming into the club that evening. Had he not done so, he would surely be sweating bullets. Taking a moment to glance around the second level of the club as Minjun indulged in telling their pack mates a story about earlier today, Taeyang assured himself that all was well before turning his attention back on his pack. Unlike normal club owners, Taeyang made it a point on helping around the club when he could. He hated the thought of hiding all night in his office. That being said, he didn’t exactly like the wardrobe he was forced to wear to match his employees and friends. It had been a group vote though and he hadn’t really had a say in it. Leather was apparently something Werecreatures liked to wear and as their boss, Taeyang was pulled along with the strict “Uniform” rules as well.

Taking another sip of his beer, the man rested his forearms on the bar counter, paying some attention to the story being told over the pounding music. Though he was truly content, a part of him was wondering if his fiancé would truly be coming here tonight with his friend…..If he did, Taeyang assumed it wouldn’t be too long until he spotted him amongst the sea of people.

"Come on, lets go already!" Zachiarius pulled his friend along. He could barely sleep last night, he had been too excited to sleep. His mind was on what the future held. Things he thought about were mostly centered around Taeyang, regardless if it was about him personally or about his club that Zachiarius so desperately and eagerly wanted to see. He assumed it was going to be awesome. He could only imagine what it must look like, especially if it was so popular.

It would be interesting to meet his pack. Zachiarius wondered if Taeyang was anything like his family, he and his brother looked closely alike... He hoped everyone would get along. Violence wasn't a passion for Zachiarius. He had seen a lot of it growing up. Though if he did feel threatened he would have to stand up for himself. Even when it came to Taeyang. They were supposed to be future husbands, so Zachiarius felt obligated to stand up for him too. He hoped that the others respect that Taeyang would be his... He sometimes got jealous easy and wasn't sure if he could stay calm if he thought someone was a little flirty with Taeyang... Yes he had only met him yesterday, but Zachiarius wasn't a sharing kind of person. Taeyang was supposed to be his, and that was that.

There was a difference between flirty and family...

So here he was, trying to get James to move. He wanted to leave already... It was just about nine. "You know I don't want to be late."

"Minjun said around nine!" A sigh escaped James as he reluctantly found himself being pushed by Zachiarius and into the car. Zachiarius said he would drive tonight, that might have been a bad idea. He was driving a little faster than usual, yet somehow was able to not get a ticket. Had it been anyone other than James, they would have freaked out.

Once they pulled up and parked, Zachiarius was already enthusiastically making his way to the club. James had to jog to keep up. It was lively inside, music and people. As soon as Zachiarius stepped inside, his eyes lit up. He was so happy right now and completely oblivious to anyone who was starring at him. His eyes scanned for the person he was looking for, and once he saw him, he made a beeline for him, "Taeyang!" He called out with a wave, greeting the wolf.

When he got closer, he absorbed what the wolf was wearing. Ooh, leather. Zachiarius couldn't deny that it actually looked decent on him, though Taeyang looked a bit uncomfortable... Zachiarius also took notice that the other male had been drinking beer. He had never drank before because he was underage. Zachiarius was responsible and not stupid... Though whenever James would drink it would take him a long time to get drunk. Maybe that was because he was use to it?

Zachiarius looked around in awe for a moment and then at Taeyang, "This place almost looks as good as you." He said, thinking it was a cleaver pick-up line. But if he was completely honest, Zachiarius did think he looked pretty good. "Do I get a grand tour?"

Looking up when he caught the sound of his name being called by a relatively familiar voice, Taeyang flickered his gaze around the sea of people again before they came to rest on Zachiarius. Despite himself, a tingle of pleasure crept through him at the sight of his soon-to-be "mate". He might never willingly admit that he was looking forward to the man coming tonight, but didn't mean that he couldn't think it.

"Who is that?" The voice of his youngest brother sounded out with obvious curiosity mixed with apprehension in it.

"That right there is your soon-to-be brother-in-law" Minjun provided a reply cheerfully enough as the young vampire made his way over to where Taeyang stood behind the bar.

Trying but failing to keep the blush off his features at the words Zachiarius greeted him with, Taeyang was thankful that at least his brief bout of shyness was covered by the dimness of the club. "Yes well....you don't look half bad yourself" Taeyang murmured, taking a moment to gather his wits. He definitely had not been expecting being greeted with such words.

At the mention of a tour, he blinked and glanced over at Minjun who gave him a simple little shrug. "Go ahead and show him around, brother. Down here its rather calm, I bet he's eager to see the craziness going on upstairs. Once you're done, just meet us again down here. I'll send Seung to gather the rest of the pack in the mean time" he said.

Nodding his head in understanding, Taeyang pushed away from the counter and handed his beer to his brother while he made his way out from behind the bar. "We'll be back. Keep my drink safe for me" Taeyang replied, reaching out to take hold on Zachiarius's hand to tug him along behind him with a brief "Come on".

Taeyang might not have been the feely touchy type when he barely knew someone, but he couldn't help himself tonight around Zachiarius. He could see the looks the vampire was getting from some of the customers on the first floor of the club....Honestly, he didn't like them....It made him feel a tingle of jealousy which overall annoyed him. He barely knew the man and he was already getting jealous....how ironic was that.

"Did you find this place well enough?" He asked after a moment of leading them as they weaved their way through groups of people, some human and some not.

Taeyang knew he was probably acting a bit differently than how he had acted the other night, nevertheless, he figured he could be a bit civil around his fiancé for now. He was rather calm tonight and he was in familiar grounds so he wasn't as tense as he had been when he stood in Zachiarius's house. Yes, he was a bit nervous about how the pack would react towards his fiancé, yet for now he didn't really want to dwell on it.

It was nice, within a few moments of seeing the other male again, he could make him blush again. No matter how dark it was, he could tell. It made Zachiarius feel good to have some sort of power like that. Though he wasn't the type to abuse his power, if Taeyang ever wanted him to stop then he would, right away and more than likely apologize. To think that this man would be his husband... That was an interesting concept to Zachiarius... It intrigued him... Normally he wouldn't try to get attached, however, since he was supposed to marry this guy, regardless if he wanted to or not, he willingly accepted it. Might as well try to get along. Thus far, they really seemed to be working together.

He took his compliment in stride, smiling and nodding his thanks. Taeyang didn't seem upset by his pick-up line and that was a good thing. The fact that he said the same thing about him made Zachiarius feel better about the whole situation. What big steps they were taking. Thankfully, this didn't seemed too rushed. At least the higher ups were not breathing down his neck to get on with the ceremony. Zachiarius wanted to at least befriend the wolf first, which by the looks of it, he had at least become acquaintances. He wasn't sure if Taeyang thought of him as a friend and didn't want to make the assumption.

Tonight seemed to be good and going well thus far. Hopefully it continued to be that way. What surprised him was that after he handed off his beer, Taeyang made the move to grab his hand first. That was a pleasant surprise and Zachiarius felt okay with it. Perhaps Taeyang was more using it as an excuse to lead him through the crowd, though nonetheless he found it oddly comforting, they were still holding hands. He gave his friend James a 'good-luck' wave as he dissolved from his sight.

He was more than willing to follow Taeyang wherever he wanted to go. "Yeah, I found it pretty easy." The vampire replied, giving the wolfs hand a gentle squeeze. "I'm really excited to be here, you know? So thanks." And he was being totally honest too. "How big is this place? Where would I work?" Zachiarius asked while looking around in awe, much like a child, he was easily impressed. He hadn't been in a club until now. It was as lively as he imagined it to be, if not, more! He liked the vibe he was getting. It was exciting. "Where are we going now and am I meeting your family, your pack today? Which, if I may... I am curious as well know about." Zachiarius admitted. He figured they could talk now that they were separated from everyone and walking on their own.

Trying his best to not allow the warmth that wanted to creep under his defenses at Zachiarius's action of squeezing his hand, Taeyang chanced a glance over his shoulder at the younger male. Seeing the child-like awe in the man's eyes had him practically raising the white flag in defeat. It was almost impossible to not feel a bit of affection for the innocence his fiancé seemed to breath out. Even if he was still irritated by the whole planned ranged marriage, Taeyang couldn't forget that his fiancé was still rather young. Yes, it would mean that Taeyang would have to have patience with him. Yet it also meant that perhaps what Minjun had said the night before was true. Maybe Zachiarius was what Taeyang needed to tear down the walls he had built over the years he had lived.

"You don't need to thank me. You are free to come whenever you wish" he murmured softly, turning his gaze back around to look where he was going. "The club itself has 3 different floors. This first one, as you can see doesn't consist of too much craziness in it. It's a more relaxed spot to drink, play billiards, or just converse if you want. The second floor is where the actual club is. Up there will be much more occupied than down here and you'll probably have to yell at me so I can hear you" Taeyang explained the first two sections of the club to the vampire he pulled along behind him.

"The third floor is where my office is and a few private rooms my pack uses for themselves....As for where you'll be working. I probably will set you down here for the first few nights. It'll be a bit easier to accustom you to the enviroment by starting you off slow. You'll be shadowing Mara, who you'll meet when we come back down. When I feel like you can take the hectic nature of the second floor, I'll bring you up there. That is where I usually am and at that point, you'll be working alongside me and a few other bartenders" he added after a moment.

Approaching the stairway that lead up to the second floor of the building, Taeyang glanced back again to answer "We're going up to the second level right now. I'll show you around a bit up there, introduce you to the bartenders on that level then I might show you the third floor and where my office is located. If I'm ever not down here, then you'll find me there unless I leave the club for whatever reason".

Starting to climb the steps, Taeyang wasn't surprised when he could already hear the pounding of the music just a few steps above them. "Yes, you will more than likely meet my family when we come back down here. I assume I could give you the names of each member now.....The two youngest of our family are our twins, Seung and Jun. Those two love to play pranks on people because of their identical appearance. Don't let them intimidate you too much. They're mostly bark and little bite. Jae is our fourth born brother, he bares a strict resemblance to Minjun. Where Minjun and I share almost the same facial features, Jae's hair matches the pale silver of Minjun. Our last brother and our second born is Chansung, everyone calls him Chan though. You'll be able to tell who he is right off the bat. Chan has a large battle scar running down the right side of his face. It would be best that you don't mention it to him. He might come off as a bit rude, but that is simply how Chan is....He gets it from our mother" Taeyang explained his brothers as clearly as he could manage.

"The two females of our pack are Mizuki and Mara. Mara belongs to Chan, you'll be meeting her up here in just a few moments. Mizuki is Jae's, she's a werecat and quite energetic so don't her startle you too badly....We have a few pups but you probably won't meet them for a bit yet" Taeyang finished as soon as he reached the landing to the second floor.

Reaching out with his free hand to grab the door that would allow them to walk into the second floor, he paused briefly to turn a bit and look at Zachiarius. "It's going to be tight up here....If you get separated from me, head for the bar. You won't be able to miss it, I'll make my way to you" he told his fiancé calmly, as if he wasn't bothered at all by walking into the craziness they were about to get into.

Turning back to the door, he pulled it open just as calmly. Not even wincing when the blast of heavy bass music hit him in a way that it made the walls shake with its intensity, Taeyang walked in smoothly. It was darker up here than it had been downstairs and it was probably ten times louder. If Zachiarius had thought the first floor had been full of people, the second floor was a hundred times worse.

Even if Taeyang knew that tightening his grip on Zachiarius's hand wouldn't help much, he still closed his fingers around the vampire's hand a bit firmer as he began to move his way through the moving, jumping, and dancing bodies. For someone that was already used to all this, the feeling of hands touching him and some occasional grabs wasn't at all alarming. It came with the territory after all, Taeyang just didn't know how Zachiarius was handling it. Hopefully the man could keep a cool head in a setting like this where there was barley any breathing room.

Zachiarius listened intently on Taeyangs' family tree. Remembering each name because they would soon, one day be his family... His family was growing. This fact made him happy. Family was something special to Zachiarius because he didn't have one... Yeah, he had all the orphans, but none of them were truly his family. Sure, he loved to be called their big brother... However, he couldn't keep them all unfortunately... But now, here, he had a knew beginning, a new family and seemingly a new place to call home. Taeyang would soon be the first addition to his family and so would the rest of his family.

And to be completely honest, Zachiarius was okay with that.

A soft smile was planted on his lips. He felt good right now. Making mental notes on where everything was. This place was pretty big with three floors. Practically an incredible club. Taeyang was right to be proud of his club. Zachiarius hadn't even seen all of it yet and he knew... He knew what made this club special. It was the heart put into it. It was the family that held it together... Clear as day, though Zachiarius had never seen the day, he could tell. A lot was put into this establishment. It made Zachiarius happy to see that his fiance had done something for himself... Zachiarius had n't really done anything special with his life. He didn't have any major accomplishments. To be honest, Zachiarius was envious of Taeyang. He was so accomplished...

Well... He was certainly the burden here, wasn't he? What did he had to give for Taeyang?

Nothing...

Zachiarius didn't let that inner turmoil show expression on his face.

He only nodded to what Taeyang said, excited to see what was in the room. The music was already blaring loud to the point that Zachiarius could feel it pulse through his body. It was actually an amusing feeling, one that tickled his insides. Yeah, this was where the life was... and apparently an obnoxious crowd of people. This didn't bother Zachiarius simply because he was used to being surrounded. For example the kids at the orphanage would all cling onto him until he would collapse. The only difference between the two was that everyone was seemingly grinding on one another. Sometimes he would feel hands brush him. Now he wasn't quiet ready for that, so his hand squeezed on Taeyangs' hand slightly. He felt relief when Taeyang intertwined their hands. It made him feel more secure even though if they had separated, they would meet at the bar.

Because he had never been in such an environment, Zachiarius was mostly wide-eyed, looking around, still in awe, yet consciously staying as close as he could to Taeyang. Very soon they made their way through the mass of bodies and to the bar. Once they were there, Zachiarius lightly tugged on Taeyang, "Which bartender is Mara?!" He tried to yell over the crowd. Wow, this was kind of exhilarating. It was cool to feel the beat pulse through his body, something that he had never felt before. He hoped that Taeyang knew what he said.

Keeping his hand securely around Zachiarius's, Taeyang tugged them through the mass of bodies as smoothly as he could. Though he himself loved this sort of enviroment and felt himself come alive when the music swept around and in him, he knew very well that Zachiarius was still not entirely used to this atmosphere yet. Call him protective, Taeyang didn't care. Alpha or not, Zachiarius was still younger than him and Taeyang secretly wanted to make sure the man was alright. That's why he didn't mind letting the man get so close to him as they moved through the dance floor. If anything went wrong, Taeyang would be able to react better the closer Zachiarius was to him.....After all, he was beginning to slowly accept the other man in perhaps the way of a budding friendship.

Stopping at the bar as soon as he had found a place for them, Taeyang looked further down the opposite side of the bar to where several bartenders were moving around rapidly. "She's the tiny redhead just a few feet down!" He called over the pounding music. Leaning further against the counter a bit, Taeyang took a deep breath before calling out sharply towards the redhead in an effort to let her hear him. "Mara!!" He shouted, allowing a grin to lift the corners of his lips as the woman he called turned her head in their direction and smiled widely when she spotted them. It's was short to say that the redhead wasted no time in hurrying over to where they stood.

"Tae!!" Mara greeted him with great enthusiasm as soon as she was close by. Resting her hands on the bar counter, she pulled herself up to lean over and press an affectionate kiss against his cheek before dropping back down and saying "About time you show up! People have been asking for you!". Her tone openly loving, affectionate and friendly.

"I've been busy!" Taeyang chuckled as he nodded over to Zachiarius beside him. "Zachiarius, this is Mara! Mara, this is Zachiarius!" Taeyang went through introductions quickly.

He couldn't help but laugh under his breath as Mara gave Zachiarius a once over then grinned cheerfully at him.

"Well he certainly isn't bad looking! He's handsome! You got lucky, Tae!" she shouted to them, winking playfully at the pair. It was clear that despite the tension between her kind and the Vampires, she wasn't too hateful towards them. At least not certain ones she felt comfortable with off the bat....Such as Zachiarius.

"Whatever you say, Mara" Taeyang replied with toying exasperation as he rolled his eyes at her comment. Gently slipping his hand out of Zachiarius's, Taeyang walked a bit further down the bar to slip his way onto the other side. Walking back up to the pair, he gently bumped his hip with Mara's while saying "Keep him entertained while I attend to my clients!"

"You got it, bro!" Mara smiled and nearly burst out laughing when Taeyang called over his shoulder something about "No alcoholic drinks for Zachiarius".

Turning her friendly green eyes back on Zachiarius once Taeyang had moved a few long feet down to the other end of the bar and was attending to a group, Mara grinned at the vampire. "So?! How do you like the club so far?! Pretty bad ass, huh?!" She called out to him, as she brushed some hair away from her face.

"Do you want anything to drink while Tae's busy?! Of course, it has to be non-alcoholic, as per the bosses rules!" Mara asked the vampire, grin never fading from her face.

Zachiarius would say that everything was going well so far. The vibe of the club mixed with the pleasant feeling he got from Taeyang comforted him somehow. Since this was the first club he had ever been in, everything was a new experience, which was still nice as of now. It was even better because Taeyang didn't seem to be so appalled by him like he was yesterday. Perhaps he was warming up to him to an extent? Zachiarius could only hope so.

As they made their way to the bar he listened intently to what Taeyang said and looked for the red head. It didn't take long for him to notice. She came swiftly to the counter where Taeyang was... And Zachiarius watched as she gave him a peck on the cheek. His chest tightened up for a moment, one thought went through his mind: Would he have a family like that? A family that would openly be affectionate like that? For a brief moment he even felt awkward because he had never been around people who great so... He was at a loss for words... Family... Zachiarius was envious that Taeyang had such a big family. One that seemed to be closely nit together. Though he wouldn't admit that he was envious of Taeyang having a nice family relationship... Being an orphan, Zachiarius had yet to experience such a thing. Though, he supposed now that Taeyang was his fiance... Perhaps he would in the foreseeable future.

When Taeyang introduced them, Zachiarius offered a smile and a wave of 'hello' to the lady known as Mara. She looked friendly to say the least. He even chuckled at what she said. Well at least he knew he wasn't unappealing to Taeyang, or that's what Zachiarius thought because Taeyang didn't deny it. Stubborn must be a part of his genetics or something and that was perfectly fine. From the rumors he heard, omegas were usually the opposite, submissive and stuff... So it intrigued Zachiarius, that and he also wanted to ask Taeyang about werewolves in general. He hoped Taeyang would answer his questions.

Emptiness was what he felt when Taeyang had released his hand and Taeyang had to dismiss himself. That was understandable. He was at his job and Zachiarius didn't want to take away from his work. So Zachiarius took a seat at a bar stool. He had a scowl on his face from Taeyangs' comment. "Really now?" He smiled and rolled his eyes, "Just because I am underage doesn't mean I want an alcoholic drink!" He yelled so Mara could hear him. Then he shrugged, "Water is fine, I suppose!"

Then while Mara got him a glass of water, he hummed to himself and nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah I like it here!" He was practically all smiles, "I've never been in a club before, but I've always wanted to be a bartender!" He continued to yell over the crowd, enjoying himself. Mara seemed, no, Zachiarius could tell she was a nice lady. He felt comforted by her in the sense that she wasn't threatening him even though he was a vampire. He honestly thought that this was the way it should be. Friendly conversation between two people. There was nothing different about them in Zachiarius' opinion. He only wished everyone would put the passed behind them. Yeah, sure, some wounds wouldn't be able to heal and some people would still be on edge... However, if everyone calmed down enough to have a pleasant conversation, Zachiarius believed that everyone could get along... But if it were that easy, he wouldn't be marrying Taeyang right now...

Taking a sip of his water, his eyes glanced around the crowd, somehow he was able to find Taeyang instantly. The other male did look good in his uniform. Zachiarius could tell it was a uniform just by looking at the other employees. He wasn't sure if Taeyang preferred leather... Either way, if he did or didn't, Zachiarius really didn't mind. Taeyang could wear, or not wear whatever he wanted. He was old enough to decide on his own and just because he was an omega didn't make him incapable to do anything for himself.

For some reason he felt like he was watch Taeyang to make sure he was safe, though the vampire knew fully well that Taeyang could hold his own, especially in his own club. Zachiarius was almost the outcast here...

Turning his head back to Mara he decided to ask he about her job, because that's what he wanted to do, "So, do you like your job!? Is it fun!? What's you're favorite kinds of drinks to make!?" He asked curiously, "Do you have any funny stories!?" Zachiarius asked. He wanted any detail she would give him. He was so excited.

"Oh I'm sure you'll get used to it here in no time, hun! I mean as soon as Tae decides he wants to start you off, you'll see that bartending isn't that hard of a job! It takes skills but as long as you stick by me, you'll be perfectly fine! It'll all start coming as second nature, even working at a crazy enviroment like this one! You'll probably end up forgetting this is a job at all once you get more familiar with it!" Mara called out to him, tone never shifting from the openly friendly vibe she had in it. Though she wasn't at vampire lover, Mara had to admit that she didn't blame every vampire for the losses her kind had had. For Mara, just like everything else, there would always be some good mixed in with the bad. Nothing would change her mind....That was something she was always trying to convince her mate of.

Smiling widely at Zachiarius's questions, Mara rested her forearms on the counter and leaned a bit closer to the vampire just to make herself sound a bit clearer. "Of course I love my job, silly! Like I said before, it doesn't really feel like a job anymore! I work with family and good friends here, I wouldn't have it any other way! Life is good here! And as for the fun scale, you'll be amazed by how much fun you have each night! We occasionally get some really entertaining clients around here and just watching them stumble around is more than amusing! When they get about to telling you their life stories, well that right there takes the cake!" she laughed.

"Let see, ummm I'd have to say my three favorite drinks to make are Whiskey Sours, Daiquiri, and Snakebites! They're not to difficult, but I don't know, I just like getting them ready for people! Your boy though, he's amazing making multiple cocktails drinks! You need to ask for one of his Pistachio shots one day! Those are amazing!" Mara responded with a little easy going shrug. She could make much harder cocktails but the three she had mentioned were her overall favorites.

"Most of my funny stories revolve around Tae, his reactions, the reactions of the clients, and our boys reactions.....I can't tell you how many times people try to hit on that poor wolf only to get torn down in the most sophisticated yet cold ways! Tae gets this pinched look on his face each time someone even tries to flirt with him! He occasionally flirts back but only when he's wicked drunk, and that's once in a blue moon! There was this one time a customer actually pulled out all the stops and went all out in trying to get Tae to go home with him! Boy, Tae's glare could have melted icebergs, and that poor man still thought he had a chance even after the 5th time being told no! I can't blame him in all actuality! The man was over his mind drunk! I mean he collapsed on the floor the moment he stood up to finally walk away! When I said he collapsed, I mean he was flat out, knocked out! I thought he was dead for a moment until Channie poked him with his boot and the man groaned! Least to say Tae wasn't exactly amused, but the situation in itself was funny! Another time a customer actually stripped his cloths off and began to do a horrible imitation of "the worm" in the middle of the dance floor! I swear I've never seen Minjun look so bewildered and shocked in my entire life when the customer singled him out and began to full out dance around him! Man, that was a great night!" Mara chuckled, green eyes twinkling with mirth at the memories she had dug up.

"What are you blabbering about over here, Mara?!" Taeyang's voice soon joined them as he walked back over to the red head's side after finishing what he had to do.

"Oh nothing, just telling this cutie about all the fun we have here!" Mara grinned, pushing off the counter to wrap her thin yet surprisingly strong arms around Taeyang's waist.

"Should I be worried?!" Taeyang asked playfully, wrapping one of his own arms around her shoulders.

"Baby doll, you should always be worried when it comes to me" Mara teased back. Turning her gaze back on Zachiarius, she winked at him while saying "Don't you worry, Zachiarius! After tonight, you'll be another member of the pack.....Or at least to me you will! The boys might take a bit more convincing! You just keep doing what you're doing, and you'll be fine....even if you're really not doing anything.....Oh and word of advice! This guy isn't about to roll over for anyone! You need to teach him who's dominant between the two of you!"

Feeling the corner of his brow twitch at the last words Mara said, Taeyang shot her an exasperated glare while asking "Really?! Whose's side are you even on?!"

"I'm on the side of love! So if you want to ever show this stubborn wolf who's boss, bite him on the neck!" Mara proclaimed with proud cheerfulness. Something that got her a narrowed eyed look from her pack brother.

"What do I look like to you, a mutt?! I don't need to be shown who is dominant and if he even tries it, I'll murder him!" Taeyang said over the music, casting a mild glare over at Zachiarius.

"No you won't! I know you! That's just your pride talking!" Mara giggled. "I would let you practice or something on someone, Zachiarius. But there's no one really around and Channie would kill both of us if I ever volunteered myself!" She called out to the vampire on the opposite side of the bar.

"Chan wouldn't be the only one to do that!" Taeyang mussed as his glaring at the two intensified.

"Chan wouldn't be the only one to do what, little brother?!" a fourth, deeper voice soon joined the conversation. Pushing his way through the crowd, a tall, leanly muscled man leaned his weight against the bar just to the left of Zachiarius. Midnight black hair framed his stern features in gentle waves as dark violet eyes gazed at the two wolves and the vampire with mild interest. On the side of his face, four jagged diagonal scars tore their way down from just above his eyebrow to the corner of his lips.

"Nothing Channie!" Mara instantly pipped up with innocence in her voice as Taeyang snorted out a soft laugh.

"As if I would believe you, you little minx!" The man spoke, though his voice was rather monotonic, it held a inner warmth for the two he watched with exasperation and love. Turning his dark eyes towards Zachiarius, Chansung tilted his head ever so slightly to one side as he studied the vampire. Slowly, a sort of cold, almost maniacal smirk began to lift his lips. "So you're the-" he began only to be cut off swiftly by his mate.

"He's our new brother! Isn't he adorable!?" she claimed, moving quickly to let Taeyang go so the man to smoothly make his way back out from behind the bar and so that she could grasp her mate's forearm.

"Adorable!? What are you even talking about?!" Chansung started, gazing bewildered at his mate. Too late did he catch his younger brother taking hold of Zachiarius's hand and tugging him gently away from the bar. By the time he spotted the movement, Taeyang was already a few feet out of arms lenght. "Tae! Where do you think your going with him?!" he barked out, instantly starting to head over. Overprotective nature rolling off him in waves. If Mara hadn't launched half her body across the counter to wrap her arms around Chansung's torso, the man would have made quick work of tearing them apart.

"We'll meet you downstairs in a few minutes, Chan! I need to finish showing him around! " Taeyang called out to his fiercely protective sibling. He knew Chansung bore a deep dislike for vampires and putting space between Zachiarius and him was probably the safest option at the moment.

"Taeyang! I swear! Get back over here before I drag you back here myself!" Chansung called back out to them the further Taeyang tugged Zachiarius into the crowd. The last thing heard was something along the lines of "Let go of me, Mara!" and Mara saying something along the lines of "Calm down, you egghead!".

Pulling Zachiarius behind him as they headed towards the second stairway at the corner of the room, Taeyang couldn't help but apologizing for his brother. "I'm sorry for Chansung's behavior, Zachiarius! I tried to warn you before! My brother can be a bit difficult when it comes to your kind!"

Zachiarius smiled while his chin leaned in the palm of his left hand. He listened intently to everything Mara said, absorbing the information like a sponge. It has silly of him to ask her if she enjoyed her job, when clearly, she loved it a lot. Zachiarius didn't even have to know what a bartender did because right at that moment he didn't care. Seeing Mara happy about her job just made him want to do it more. He was determined to nail this job, even though he knew that it was pretty much already secured. Bartending was definitely a job he wanted. It was such a lively job, prefect for Zachiarius.

With every story that Mara told him, even if it was short, he found his interest in the job to sky rocket. Oh, he couldn't wait. This job just seemed so perfect. He could talk to customers all the time, joke around, serve drinks and watch people make fools out of themselves. Sounded like the most entertaining and fun job to Zachiarius. Mara seemed to be very cheerful and relaxed around him. Had he not known she was a werewolf, he wouldn't have known to begin with. She was easily someone he could talk to at work once he was hired here.

Stories that peaked his interests were the ones centered around Taeyang. Ironically, the funnier stories had to deal with his being flirted and hit on by a persistent drunk. Had Zachiarius been there, and they had known each other then, he was sure he would have been jealous. It wasn't until a month before he was supposed to meet Taeyang was he even informed who it would be. Up until yesterday he hadn't met him so... Considering they just met, he felt pretty good about the situation. He chuckled at the story nonetheless.

When Taeyang finally returned Zachiarius felt relief from both his presence and from the laid back attitude they both had when they talked together. He made the mental note, confirming that Taeyang was stubborn and wouldn't roll around easy for him. He was actually well aware of it and that was totally okay with him. Whatever made him comfortable... As long as Taeyang was true to himself and was being himself, Zachiarius didn't mind not one bit. However he did raise a brow when she said he should bite Taeyang, specifically on the neck. Was that supposed to be a vampire joke? It didn't look like it was. It must be a werewolf thing... Perhaps something happened when their neck were bitten? Zachiarius' knowledge of the werewolves was actually small and besides the point he never wanted to assume any rumors he heard was true. He had always wanted to see what their side of the story was... And now he would have the chance.

However Zachiarius didn't get the chance to speak as a new wold made his way to the bar. It was one of Taeyangs' brothers. Channie, was it? And it seemed that this conversation was all fun and games until he arrived because as soon as he did, Zachiarius noticed a shift in the mood. Zachiarius had turned his head to look at the man with a scar on his face. It was noticeable like Taeyang said. It must have hurt considering it was on his face. Zachiarius had a feeling that the guy didn't like him too much and they've only just met. Talk about judging a book by its cover... It was sort of upsetting to watch the other two cover for him. Zachiarius had a feeling he should keep his mouth shut right now as he didn't want to provoke the wolf right now.

So when Taeyang pulled on his hand, leading him away from the other wolf, he willingly let him. He frowned softly. Before leaving the area, Zachiarius turned his head to look back at the couple, he merely caught a glimpse. And once they were by the stairs, he let out a breath of air he didn't realize he was holding. He nodded slowly after Taeyang had spoke. "It's okay, Taeyang! Some people won't get over the past as easily and not everyone will agree with us being together! I understand that your brother wants to protect you!" Zachiarius paused a moment as he thought carefully of what he should say, "Can... Can we talk in your office?! I've been meaning to talk to you one on one, is that okay?!" Zachiarius had questions that needed to be answered as well as things that he needed to say to clear things up. Work wasn't the only thing he wanted to talk about either. "Please!" He squeezed Taeyangs' hand softly.

Tugging Zachiarius towards the stairs, Taeyang paused and glanced back at the vampire when the man voiced his request above the music. Studying the younger male for a few moments under quiet curiosity, the wolf finally inclined his head slightly to show his agreement before turning back around. Weaving his way through the rest of the people, he quickly made the climb up the stairs to the third level. Stopping briefly to pull a pair of keys from his pocket, Taeyang unlocked the door to his pack's private section and pulled Zachiarius in. Making sure the door was locked after closing it again, Taeyang murmured a brief "This way" as he pulled his fiancé along behind him down a long hall. Thankfully, though the floor beneath them was blasting with music, the sound was much more muted up on the third level.

Honestly, Taeyang almost wished he could have given Zachiarius a bit more time to explore and talk to Mara on the floor below them. However, Chansung's appearance had forced everything to a stop. His elder brother was not a wolf to be toyed with. Chansung had a tendency of being aggressive when it came to protecting what he claimed as his. With Mara's appearance in his life, that had dimmed a bit but not enough, especially when it came to the two Omegas in the pack. Treaty or not, Chansung would attack a vampire just because of his hatred towards them. He was a hothead, one who was just barely controlled by Minjun and his status as pack Alpha.

Though Taeyang speculated that Zachiarius could protect himself should Chansung start a fight, he didn't want to place the vampire in that scenerio. It wouldn't be good for the bond they were just beginning the build. And the elders would no doubt punish the entirety of the pack for the misconduct of one of their members.

Pulling the vampire to the end of one of the long halls on the third floor, Taeyang opened the door at the end of the hall and ushered Zachiarius in.

Letting go of the man's hand in order to close the door behind them, Taeyang did his best to ignore the pang of emptiness that hit him when the vampire's warmth no longer filled his hand. As he also did the best to ignore the want to reach out and take the man's hand again.

"Take a seat wherever you want. Make yourself comfortable" he invited the other man calmly enough, gesturing towards the three long white couches he had placed a few feet in front of his large oak desk.

Walking over to his desk, Taeyang wasted no time in sinking elegantly onto his leather black armchair and briefly flickering his gaze over to a few papers that lay in a small pile at the corner of his desk.

"You wanted to talk? I assume you have some questions that you want answered?" Taeyang prompted his fiancé, tone calm and steady as he leaned back into the comfort of his chair and waited to hear what the younger man had to say.

Zachiarius was happy, slightly, to get out of there. He truly wanted to talk to Taeyang and he was glad his fiance trusted him enough to actually talk to him. Boy, he had so many different questions. Hopefully Taeyang would be willing to answer them. Curiosity was pulling Zachiarius every which way as he allowed Taeyang to lead the way. It was immediately quieter once they were upstairs and it was actually kind of nice. Though, Zachiarius had a brief moment where he wanted to ask Taeyang about the private rooms... Now wasn't the time for that. Any questions he had were going to be saved for when they were alone.

Being alone was a nice prospect. While it was true Zachiarius loved the liveliness of the club, he also liked the solitude that came with being alone... And perhaps being alone with his fiance. So once they were alone in the quietness of Taeyangs' office, Zachiarius beamed around at the neatness of it all. However, he did have to look at his hand for a brief moment as Taeyang closed the door behind them, his hand was empty... Guess he spoiled himself already...

When Taeyang told him to get comfortable, Zachiarius nodded, more to himself than to Taeyang and took a spot at the couch closest to the desk. If he had his way, he would have sat closer... Perhaps he could get Taeyang to sit next to him... And that, just then, became Zachiarius' goal. However, he had a hunch Taeyang wouldn't sit next to him willingly, or at least yet... "Yeah... You assumed correct. I just have a lot of curious questions and I was hoping that you'd be okay with answering at least some of them, or whatever you're comfortable with. In return, of course, you can ask me whatever you like as well." That was a fair trade, right? Zachiarius thought so.

"So with that being said..." He hummed trying to think of what would be the right question to ask first. "Well, first off, I have to compliment your club. I think its really nice. I like how lively it is and I do think I will enjoy working here." Zachiarius smiled softly. He wanted to provoke conversation from Taeyang, polite conversation hopefully. "I'll admit I am actually a little jealous, it's kick ass. Though, I've never been inside a club until now. It hasn't let me down at all..." Zachiarius spoke with sincerity as well as admiration. Taeyang had this fancy club. It was so nice... And what did Zachiarius have? Not really anything. "I suppose I should ask about what Mara said earlier. I didn't quite get the reference. Don't make fun of me when I ask this, I am just curious, um... What did she mean about biting your neck?" Zachiarius tilted his head slightly, "At first I thought she was punning the idea that I was a vampire... But that doesn't seem like the case... So... Is that that a thing werewolves do too?"

After asking that question, Zachiarius gave Taeyang a moment to think about what he was going to say, and possibly answer it as well. "I mean, I do hear rumors about werewolves, but since you are one, I figured I could ask you... If you're okay with that. All I want is for you to confirm the idea or prove it false. Oh... And I want to reinforce the idea that I don't intend to bite you, I promise, not without your consent. I'll never bare my fangs at you even if I was starving to death. Plus, fun fact about me, I suppose. I've never fed from a person before... I've been raised on an animal diet. I don't know if that makes you more comfortable but... Yeah... I've never killed anyone before either." Zachiarius admitted, he wasn't sure if he could kill anyone. He firmly believed things could be resolve through talking. Violence wasn't the answer to everything. "Oh, I suppose I could ask you about that, have you ever killed before?" The whole time Zachiarius spoke, he spoke seemingly innocent no matter what he said. He was trying to be open and honest with the werewolf in front of him, after all they would be married someday.

Feeling the beginnings of a smile life the corners of his lips, Taeyang watched the vampire sitting on the couch closest to his desk. He was used to having his club complimented. After all, it was a bit different than all the other clubs around the city. Nevertheless, Zachiarius complimenting it felt different for some odd reason. It made the pride in Taeyang grow a bit more. The wolf honestly didn't know why his fiancé's words made him feel proud of himself, but even if he thought about it, Taeyang knew in the back of his head that he wouldn't find an acceptable answer.

"Thank you, I'm glad you like it. If it weren't for my family, this place wouldn't have been possible. It was a pack effort to get it off the ground....Nonetheless, I'm pleased to hear that it is acceptable to you. I'm sure you'll find work here to not be so difficult" Taeyang said calmly, lilac eyes thoughtful as he studied the other creature. He had known from a start that he was probably going to hire the other man after he took in Mara's thoughts of him. His sister-in-law seemed to like him well enough, so that worked for the wolf. Though the rest of the pack's opinion was important too, with Mara and Minjun giving the all clear, he wasn't to concerned about any changes in his decision to hire the man.

Humming in a pensive manner for a moment under his breath, Taeyang leaned his head back against the chair while watching Zachiarius curiously. "To answer that question, you'd have to understand pack mentality. Werewolves are very much wolves when we fully change, of course, we are much larger. Nonetheless, we behave just like any wild wolf does. We have an Alpha, a Beta and then the rest of the pack. In order for the pack to be maintained under good control, it is required for the Alpha to show his dominance amongst the pack. That being said, the quickest way to show who is leader is by bitting an unruly pack mate on the neck. It doesn't have to be deep or painful. A bite or nip on the neck is a mild warning or disciplinary action. It's not meant to harm or kill, just to put a pack member in his or her place should they begin to challenge the authority of the proper Alpha" Taeyang responded softly, thinking his words carefully before he said them.

"When Mara implied that you should bite my neck, she was just playing. A bite on my neck would instinctively push me to subside my distemper towards you and follow your lead. I believe Mara was just teasing us both about it given the situation between us. She knows well of my pride and stubbornness. She was being silly while trying to give you a hand in making a suggestion on how to make me not snap at you so often. I doubt she actually thought you would do it" he added after a moment with a delicate shrug of his shoulders. He hadn't exactly been amused by the words but he had known that his sister had only been goofing around.

"I have to admit, it's odd to see a vampire who solely drinks from animals....I've grown used to your kind being murderous creatures towards the humans....I suppose it's nice to know that I won't have to protect humans from my future husband. It does put points in your favor" Taeyang mussed quietly, Blinking at Zachiarius with growing curiosity in his gaze. "However, if you ever truly find yourself starving, I am not opposed of you feeding off of me. As long as you give me fair warning. It would not be kind of me to force you away in your time of need. You will be pack soon and pack looks after one another. Whether you are werewolf or not" the older man conceded a moment later. He wasn't freely offering himself up for the menu, however he wanted to make his fiancé understand that Taeyang was willing to help him if the need should ever arise.

Frowning a bit when he thought of Zachiarius's last question, Taeyang's eyes gazed at the younger male with a bit of uncertainty. His future mate had no blood on his hands and he seemed innocent to all the violence that came from war. He was so very much different than Taeyang himself.

"For my family, I have killed. To protect those I love, I have killed. I am not proud of it, but in war, it's kill or be killed. There is no other option. Omega or not, I am a warrior and I fight beside my family and pack. However, I do wish for you to never have to take the life of another. You have a strange yet innocent air around you, Zachiarius. I would not wish for that to change" Taeyang finally said with a hint of hesitation in his voice. He truly was not proud of the deaths brought upon by his own hand. He was not at ease with the darkness that had begun to taint, haunt him after his first kill....but in his world, it had been a part of life. That was something that could not be changed. Hopefully with this coming marriage, things would be different.

For a moment, Zachiarius thought he was hallucinating. Was Taeyang starting to smile? He was. Zachiarius was right, as he said the other day, "You really do look better with a smile, Taeyang." As smile of his own was forming on his face. The younger male was happy he could flatter the older male, it seemed to ease the mood. Honesty was Zachiarius' friend half of the time, sometimes being too honest seemed to hurt people more than help them. He was glad to see that Taeyang was confident in himself and his establishment. It didn't surprise the vampire that this was a group effort, he could tell that a lot of heart was put into it. Taeyangs' family seemed to put a lot of love into this place. The reason Taeyangs' club was so successful was based off the fact that his pack was so close nit.

While Taeyang talked about the pack mentality, Zachiarius couldn't help but to notice how his fiance said, 'and the rest of the pack.' The younger male found himself shifting slightly in his seat, leaning towards Taeyangs' direction. "What about omegas? Isn't that what you are?" Zachiarius asked curiously, wondering if Taeyang was not actually an omega. He could have sworn someone told him Taeyang was a omega. So it didn't make sense for Taeyang to leave himself out. "They are the submissive wolves, right?" Zachiarius pondered the idea that maybe Taeyang didn't say he was an omega was because he didn't want to be looked down upon. "Is it wrong for men to be omegas? How does that effect you? How do male omegas differ from female omegas, if there's a difference?" When one question was asked, he soon found another that would spew out, passed his curious lips, "That's not an issue, is it? I wouldn't think so. Like you said, you have pride and you're stubborn. Feisty. And I like it," Zachiarius chuckled, "Omega or not, all I want is for you to be yourself. I'd rather fall in love with you as you are. I feel I shouldn't need to bite you in terms of discipline, though I will if you want me to. No fangs, if you'd like, I can control myself."

Now that he knew Mara's intentions, Zachiarius felt slight relief. The vampire wasn't sure how it would be if he were to bite Taeyang. He wondered how his blood would taste and if he could handle tasting a persons blood for the first time ever. Many vampires told him that animal blood was nothing compared to human blood. It was nice to know that Taeyang would let him feed from him if he so needed it. "What? Because I am a vampire, I can't be innocent?" That sparked a laugh out of Zachiarius, "I am the way I am because I choose to be. It's my personality for the most part... However, I am a skeptic. I do wonder if the higher-ups had planned this out. When I lived at the orphanage, I distinctly remember the headmistress only allowing me to have animal blood. She forbid me to have any mortal blood, yet..." Zachiarius paused, "I knew that the other vampires in the orphanage were allowed to have mortal blood. I never questioned it... Though, I still don't know why to this day... But I suppose if that gets me points in your book, then I am okay with it. Maybe one day, when you're okay with it, I'll try your blood..." He said, though it sounded more like a question than a statement.

"Okay... So I heard you say mate earlier. Is that a werewolves phrase for soul mate?" Zachiarius deduced, using what he heard from Taeyangs' information as well as rumors he heard. Vampires had their own phrase for soul mate. They even had rituals for such a thing. "Wait... So if werewolves, say, have a destined mate... Do you have one too?" Would Taeyang still have a 'destined soul mate' even though they would have to get married? What were the odds of that even happening? "I would assume to have a mate, means that there is some sort of bond between two people? Like a strong connection. Do you think a vampire and a werewolf could have a connection like that?" He asked, referring to themselves.

  • 2 weeks later...

Blinking surprised when Zachiarius complimented his smile once more, the older wolf's brows pressed together for a moment. He was used to having compliments handed to him by friends or relatives, it was still new to him that people he had met not to long ago were eager to give warm words to him as well. Logically speaking, Taeyang should have expected it a bit more easily. Nevertheless, Zachiarius was a vampire and Taeyang didn't have too many good memories or thoughts when it came to the kind his species was trying to bridge the gap with.

"Thank you" he finally managed to murmur in a tone of voice much softer than what was normal to him. It was clear he hadn't been expecting those words and he didn't know exactly what to think or do about them.

Sighing softly when Zachiarius asked about Omegas, Taeyang interlaced his fingers and rested his hands on his lap as he got a bit more comfortable in his chair. "Yes, I am an omega....however, it is wise not to proclaim such a status to the 4 winds. Because being an omega makes me a naturally submissive wolf, should another pack intrude on our lands, they would be interested in claiming me as their own. At least the Alpha would. Male Omegas are seen as a rarity in our world. More than most of the time, females are born as omega. Where as female Omegas are often protected and babied, male Omegas have strenght to stand on their own. Our personalities are not always as submissive as our female counterparts" he explained as carefully as he could.

"We have the ability to stand beside our chosen mate and fight with our pack, despite our omega gene. Cases are far in between now, merely myths these days, but legend has it that male Omegas had once been able to give birth just as the females. Because of that, male Omegas are sought for far and wide now. Packs that have more than one, like my pack, hide the fact that certain members are omega. Especially if none of the male Omegas have been properly claimed yet" he finished quietly. He knew that Zachiarius might not understand it all so quickly, but at least Taeyang was trying to explain it to him.

Feeling his cheeks darken a bit when Zachiarius spoke about falling in love with him just the way he was, Taeyang couldn't help but tear his gaze away from the other male in a bid to recover a bit of his composure as his heart skipped a beat. "If we ever run into another pack, biting me might be required. Not only for discipline, but to also show that in a sense of the word, I belong to you" Taeyang spoke again after a moment, voice coming of in a soft sigh.

"Perhaps your council had you already chosen for this task from the moment you were born. It wouldn't be overly surprising, the council always has plans on top of plans. To understand just what goes on in their mind would be to willingly walk into a corn maze filled with potholes and traps......Though I'm sure that even without their control of your movements, you would have turned into a respectable vampire" Taeyang confessed with a little shrug as he brought his lilac gaze back to the man on the couch on the other side of his desk. Even if he was sharp tongue most of the times, Taeyang wasn't above giving compliments when need be.

Feeling his eyes widen when Zachiarius brought up the topic of his blood, the wolf quietly studied the male in front of him with curiosity and a hint of weariness. "We will see how things go between us. Perhaps one day I truly will be at ease with the thought of my blood in your mouth" he murmured.

"Yes, I suppose it is" Taeyang replied with a hint of amusement in his voice. "As in the normal wolves, werewolves mate for life. Our mate is the other part of our soul, our other...better half. If one mate dies, the other will soon follow. For us, one can not exist without the other" he mussed calmly enough. Tilting his head to one side at Zachiarius's next question, Taeyang shrugged while saying "I suppose it's possible for a bond to happen between a vampire and a werewolf. Only a few have been documented throughout our two species and those happened centuries ago, before this war ever began.....Because I am born a werewolf, I do have a destined mate. However, we never know who it is until a mark appears somewhere on our body. It can happen anytime, it doesn't have to be the moment we see our destined mate for the first time. For the bond to form, both sides must be willing to join their wills as one. Once that happens, matching marks appear on both parties and we will be able to sense and hear eachother with ease. The bond gives the gift of telepathy so we won't have to physically talk to one another in order to hear ourselves. That would be particularly handy should I ever be in my full wolf state"

As Taeyang explained about being an omega Zachiarius was finally able to piece it most of it together. He was sure whatever he didn't understand now, would make sense later. He briefly wondered how he was supposed to 'claim' Taeyang... Was it through biting him? Eh, he would worry about it later. Although he did make note of the myth Taeyang mentioned. It just happened to catch his interest and if... something like that was a possibility. Well Zachiarius was very happy with the elders right now. A smile formed its way onto his face as he looked at Taeyang, "Say no more. I think I get the gist of it now. You're a special wolf and I'm not supposed to tell anyone." Zachiarius move his hand to his mouth, index finger popping out as he pressed it to his lips, "Shhh." He chuckled and then put his hand back down. But all playfulness aside, he would be serious about that matter if it was needed. But they were alone and as far as he was concerned he could mess with Taeyang a bit. After all, it was kind of cute when the wolf blushed.

The young vampire was entertained by the idea that Taeyang, in a sense, belonged to him. He would make sure to take care of Taeyang the best he could- and that was the promise he would make to Taeyang, even if he didn't want it. While Zachiarius may have been the younger one in the room, that still didn't change the fact that he still felt responsible. Especially since the elders had picked him for this marriage. Regardless if they got along, he would at least see it through that the marriage was done. It was kind of ironic... He was so use to people leaving him, like at the orphanage... But now, because of the marriage, Taeyang would be the first one to stay by his side- and who was not a friend like James. So it was kind of odd... Zachiarius wouldn't have to try too hard though. He had a feeling that no matter how much Taeyang tried, he wouldn't be able to hate him. Knowing that fact made Zachiarius a little happier.

"Aww, did I receive a compliment?" Zachiarius chuckled and then tilted his head slightly as he smiled, "You think so? Hmm? I wonder, but you never know I guess..." He shrugged it off, "Thank you. That was nice of you to say." See, a werewolf and vampire could get along. Talking was easier than he thought it would be. Sure, there was blood spilled in the past and maybe a few instances now... But if they put the past behind them and move on, surely they would find peace between the to species. "See, I don't know about you, but.. I actually think I am kind of nervous about drinking your blood. Since I've never done it before... I don't know... I mean, I don't want to hurt you, you know?" Zachiarius' grey eyes looked down somewhat nervously at his hands that were in his lap for a moment before looking back up at Taeyang, "At the same time... I'm kind of excited to try and I'm very curious to see what you taste like..." And with that Zachiarius licked his lips, followed by a smirk because he had did that on purpose.

"I wonder if a vampire and werewolf can hear each other's thoughts if they are bonded?" Zachiarius questioned even though he was sure Taeyang wouldn't know the answer. "Werewolves have their own way of bonding, right? Is it through claiming, like you mentioned earlier, or... the markings? Hmmm, that's makes me wonder if it would work with a vampire bond." The young vampire pondered out loud as he brushed a hand through his hair, "Ah! Maybe it's a combination of both? That would be interesting, don't you think?" The vampire concluded. He'd say he was pretty slick at coming up with that idea and wondered if the thought had ever crossed Taeyang's mind.

"Since you've told me so much about werewolves, I feel obligated to tell you some random facts about vampires. But of course if you have any particular questions, I'd be okay with easing your curiosity, be it about vampire's or about myself." He said as his hand reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone, turning it on and going to the camera settings. "Not sure if you know this, but the whole vampire's not having a reflection thing is total rubbish. I assure you, I reflect in every mirror and picture." Zachiarius hummed and then suddenly pat the cushion beside him, wanting Taeyang to sit next to him- his secret goal having yet to be accomplished. "With that in mind, why don't you come over here and take a picture with me? I was going to use this as an excuse to get your phone number, if that's okay." He stated honestly and very bluntly, "That way I can send you the picture. We could have matching backgrounds." Zachiarius joked half suggesting- maybe half serious.

The vampire would more than likely put the picture as his background. It didn't bother the vampire in the slightest because Taeyang was his future husband, that, and... well... he looked pretty good tonight. But of course it was Taeyang's choice, hence the reason Zachiarius asked him to come sit on the couch instead of going over there and invading his space.

Unable to stop himself from smiling at the shushing gesture Zachiarius did to himself, Taeyang rolled his eyes in a mild show of his amusement even as he shook his head. Being dead set on disliking the other male due to his species and how little Taeyang actually thought of them, he couldn't help but find some of the vampire's actions almost endearing. Then again, Taeyang would rather face off against a pack of hostile werewolves than admit to something like that to anyone. "Damn straight I'm special. So if I ever catch you loosening your tongue on someone outside the pack or someone aside from your friend, I won't hesitate to tear strips off of you" Taeyang grumbled but his tone wasn't as severe as one might have expected by the words that had left his lips seconds ago. Nevertheless, Taeyang couldn't bring himself to actually snarl at the other male in his office, not when the air between them was so relatively calm. He'd save all his growls and snarls for later when Zachiarius was finally introduced to the pack downstairs.

Admitting what he was to a person outside his family group was not easy for the wolf. Ever since he had been born his family had been doing their best to keep his omega blood a secret from unwelcome attentions. Though they had been doing a fantastic job at it, there had been slip ups. One which still shook Taeyang to the core and refused to be forgotten. It was only because the elders had insisted in this marriage that Taeyang had even entertained the idea of a vampire knowing exactly what kind of wolf he was. Thankfully, his chosen partner seemed to be trustworthy, at least as far as Taeyang had seen. Time would tell if he would be able to fully lower his guard around the vampire but for now, Taeyang supposed he could be content with how things were now.

"You will see with the time to come that I am capable of compliments every now and again. You just need to learn to earn them....I'm not that hard to figure out" Taeyang mussed, allowing a soft chuckle to enter his voice at what he said. Taeyang knew he was hard to get around. He was prickly and he didn't take kindly to nonsense, yet if you gained his trust and showed him that he could count on you then Taeyang easily became to warmest person a person could ever hope to meet. All it took was a bit of time.

Feeling his eyes grow wide at what was said about his blood, blood rushed to his face as Zachiarius lucked his lips. Annoyed by his clear shyness towards the action, Taeyang glared down at his desk while murmuring "You won't hurt me...I'm more than capable in getting you to stop if need be. And don't get to comfortable with the idea. I'll only give you blood should you need it in a dire way. I'm not going to be some sort of walking buffet for you". The idea of Zachiarius biting him was unnerving yet Taeyang couldn't help but feel a bit of curiosity and dare he say excitement as well. It was something he had never done before and the curious wolf inside him thought the idea was worth playing with. But like he said, he wasn't just about to bear his neck to the other man.

Tilting his head at the vampire's rambling when he finally managed to drag his eyes back up to the other male, Taeyang found another small smile stitching it way up to his face. "Maybe it is a combination of both, I haven't the least of a clue. This is my first time doing anything with a vampire in the vicinity which wasn't violent. I'm as new in this field as you are. However it being a combination of both is certainly plausible" he conceded in a pensive tone of voice. He couldn't help but think that Zachiarius's idea was possible. There were no records of anything in this degree, so the two of them would be the first to experience everything that was to come. No one would be able to guide them through this. "As for how my kind does it, it usually is through the bite. The claiming is how we bind one to the other. Should a suitor unknowingly approach a bonded mate, we let out a scent that matches that of our partner so that the claim over us is as obvious as day. For us wolves it mostly all about scents" he said in response the the question the vampire had asked a few moments earlier.

Narrowing his eyes on the other male when he was invited to come sit next to him for a picture, Taeyang felt his lip curl in slight disdain on having to be so close to the other. It had him bristling a bit in unease yet he knew that if he didn't do his part and try, this relationship would not go anywhere. That was not something that would bode well with the elders who had staked so much in the union between the two of them. Clinching his jaw for a moment, Taeyang soon took a deep breath and rose from his seat behind his desk. Moving with the barest hints of hesitation, he made the way around his desk to where Zachiarius was sitting. Pride had him bristling just a bit at having to be so close to the other male for a picture no less, regardless he sank down beside Zachiarius, violet eyes giving the man a rather dry stare. "Is this acceptably close?" He questioned in a clearly unamused tone.

Zachiarius smiled softly when Taeyang said that he was a 'special' omega. He couldn't agree more. Both from just being a male omega and also because he was betrothed to a vampire. "Don't worry... You'll be my one and only special omega. I wouldn't dare touch anyone else." He teased, but really meaning what he said. Zachiarius would try his best to make him comfortable. After all he was technically still Taeyang's enemy by nature. Sure, it might be a little difficult to start out with, but Zachiarius had a feeling that this would work out. Taeyang seemed to be trying as well, and for that, Zachiarius was grateful. Maybe he should remind Taeyang how special he really was... Sometimes... Just to lighten him up if he needed it. Perhaps it would be like whispering 'sweet-nothings'. Compliments were something Zachiarius could do, especially if his omega wanted him to do so...

It was funny... Saying or even thinking something like that... Taeyang was his omega. Honestly, it made Zachiarius feel slightly uneasy. By saying that Taeyang was his... Zachiarius meant it as his friend, a companion, his future husband... Not something like... Well... Taeyang wasn't his possession... And Zachiarius wouldn't treat him like a possession either. He was his own man, successful in his own ways. Zachiarius didn't need to fix him, no, if anything Zachiarius felt that it would be Taeyang who would be fixing him. Over time he was sure Taeyang would catch on. He might have seemed pretty well together... But his whole life had not been that way. So it would seem Taeyang didn't have it easy either...

A chuckle slipped past Zachiarius' lips, "You are no buffet to me, I can assure you. I never thought about you that why, nor to I plan to. I don't care how strong you think you are Taeyang..." He said softly, he wouldn't yell at his omega, yet there was some edge to his tone. His tone almost sounded out of place, but nonetheless had some underlining threat. "I just wanted you to be ready as I don't know how I would react. As I said, I do not wish to hurt you..." He mumbled off. He knew anything could happen. Vampires were stronger than wolves, he knew that. They were stronger against the human and wolf form, unless there was a pack... Maybe he would just avoid biting Taeyang in general... That seemed to be the best answer... No matter what Taeyang would say, Zachiarius wasn't willing to take the risk right now... Or maybe never...

There was so much that couldn't be answered right now. So much that they would have to struggle through together... Alone. Zachiarius was use to doing things alone... But What about Taeyang? He always had a pack to protect him, to guide him, he be there for him no matter what... How different Taeyang was from Zachiarius, and how... envious Zachiarius wished he had a family like that to support him... But... He supposed Taeyang's family, even though most of them seem to hate him, was now his family. Zachiarius couldn't help but to feel like the outcast here. "Guess we'll have to find out... One step at a time, I guess." He shrugs lightly. Everything he was learning now, he would try to remember...

Then finally, the moment comes. His eyes mischievously watches the werewolf contemplate if it was a really good idea to come near him. Zachiarius was pleased, as well as amused, to see that Taeyang was going to sit next to him. "Acceptably?" Zachiarius whined, teasingly, a smile on his face. "Are you always this formal?" He pondered out loud, looking at Taeyang. He found that he felt nervous to be this close... yet excited in a manner than he couldn't explain. He quickly set up his camera- and then in one swift movement, he moved closer, wrapping an arm around Taeyang's shoulder's and pulled him slightly closer. "Say cheese!" He chuckled, taking a picture- and then another, followed by another by repeatedly pressing the button. Once he was done, Zachiarius went into his picture, chuckling again. "See? I think we're close enough now."

Though a blush did touch his cheeks when Zachiarius said that Taeyang would be his only Omega, Taeyang couldn't help but feel rather satisfied as well. To know that the vampire was taking this union seriously and not as a joke was calming, even if the werewolf was still highly reluctant about merging his life with a blood sucker. His experience had shown him that vampires were not to be trusted. That they were as sly and as cunning as foxes, despite commonly being referred to as cat-like. He had fought vampires time and time again and he had learned a new lesson every time he had chased one off his pack's land or eliminated one. Zachiarius was different though. Taeyang didn't make it a habit to judge people by what he saw on the outside and he still didn't know what the vampire might be hiding under the surface...however, something inside him almost felt like the vampire could be trustworthy.....Nonetheless, only time would tell.

Eyeing the vampire carefully when the man's tone changed a bit due to his words, Taeyang tilted his head ever so slightly to one side as he took in this change in the relatively good natured vampire. It almost seemed that the bloodsucker was genuinely concerned of what would happen if he bit Taeyang. Normally, the wolf would have scoffed at this and rolled his eyes, but something told him that this was no laughing matter. "If you do not wish to hurt me, then don't. Learn to control yourself and you'll have nothing to be afraid of" Taeyang suggested, tone turning a bit more to the serious side now, yet it was not unkind. From what he could tell, Zachiarius was fairly young for a vampire, not that Taeyang was much older than he was. Regardless, Taeyang doubted the man had had as much experience at working with his supernatural side and his tendencies as Taeyang had. Growing a werewolf inside a werewolf pack, it was expected for him to grow to be coexistent with the essence of the wolf that was living inside him. He had been trained and mentored to know how to do so by his parents and the elders of their species. However, he wasn't sure if Zachiarius had ever had that opportunity.

"Yes, I suppose so. There is no need to rush something that can't be rushed or understand a situations when so many questions remain without an answer" Taeyang mussed quietly. He was weary of what was yet to come, but he would not go back on his word to the elders. He would walk this strange new path with the vampire, no matter the cost. That being said, Taeyang refused to be separated from his pack. Perhaps mentally and emotionally they wouldn't be able to help him on this path, but physically, their comforting presence would do wonders to calm his mind for what was yet to come.

"Some of us were raised with manners, vampire" Taeyang grumbled instantly when the man teased his way of speaking. Though Taeyang prided himself on his speed and resourcefulness in battle, he had not been expecting the man to move so quickly when Zachiarius pulled him close in a swift movement. Opening his mouth to protest, the wolf could do little else but look somewhat bewildered with an embarrassed flush on his face as pictures were taken in rapid succession. Once the ordeal was over, Taeyang pushed against the vampire's chest, trying to make space between them as his brow twitched in a sure sign of his displeasure and irritation.

"You're such an idiot" he growled annoyed, raising his hand and balling it into a fist with a thought to lightly thump it against the back of the vampire's head as a minor reprimand for his actions. However, the moment a group of scents wafted to him from the closed door, Taeyang froze. His nose twitched slightly as the scents became stronger and clearer and as they did, a rumbling growl swelled out of his throat. Violet eyes narrowed and flashed in anger while the wolf quickly, yet gentle still, untangled himself from Zachiarius's arm and stood up. "Stay here, Zachiarius....I need to take care of something" the wolf growled softly, turning heel and heading towards the door of his office. In a quick motion, he had the door open and was striding down the hall towards the door that lead to the stairs, his pack and the rest of the club below.

Out of all nights, those irritating, arrogant fools wanted to invade his pack's land and building now. Tsk, if he weren't so focused on trying to keep the confrontation that was about to happen, on peaceful terms until they left the club, then he would have probably had no quarrels in killing the idiots of the rival pack for their audacity to walk into his club after being chased out weeks before.
