"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you.... I shouldn't have suggested it... Sorry." Loki looked away feeling really bad for saying that even as a joke. He hardly understood embarrassment so to him it was a horrible thing that he made Mimura blush. It wouldn't have worked out anyway... Loki would make for a horrible husband.

"You didn't offend me" Mimura said quickly. He gave Loki's hand a light squeeze. "Please don't worry about it, I just wasn't expecting you to even think about that. I thought you wouldn't want to actually want to marry a dragon." He let out a soft sigh. "I'm really sorry."

"Well I wouldn't mind marrying a dragon if it were you. You take care of me and don't complain even though I'm nothing but a huge pain.... I wander off a lot and get sidetracked at the drop of a pin...." unsure of why he was saying all this, Loki just went off and talked on and on.

Mimura stayed quiet for awhile, still holding Loki's hand. "I... I would be fine with just living with you as a friend... But if you want to try having that sort of relationship...." He trailed off, blushing softly. "We could try, although I think it would be far too soon to think about marriage"

"Well I don't know what two guys would do if they were anything more then friends and we don't have to marry... I can just start calling you my wife when the time comes." Loki was just as straight forward as ever. He was never good at just leaving things too unsaid which was too strange since he didn't talk much anyway... probably because there was no one to talk to.

"I... Cant we just be... L-lovers for awhile?" Mimura asked, his cheeks still flushed. "I would rather have a wedding of sorts... Before we consider ourselves married..." They were getting closer to town, and Mimura wanted to figure this out before they arrived so that the foxes wouldn't get involved.

"I never realized men could be lovers... I thought it was something just between a guy and a girl." He really was a clueless idiot. Loki shrugged before he added, "Then let's be lovers before anything else... You're going to have to help me on what that means though..."

"It just means caring for each other... And... Physical things like kissing... If that's the sort of thing you'd like to do" Mimura rubbed his cheeks with his free hand, wishing that he could tell how much his embarrassment was showing.

"Oh, well we can do that if you want. It's like being a mate, right? We take care of each other but we aren't married. I can handle that." Just to test it, Loki quickly moved, giving Mimura's hand a quick squeeze to let him know what was happening and the cat just kissed the dragon on the lips. "Just like that right? Or did you mean this?" He then leaned in again and licked Mimura's cheek.

Mimura's face grew even more red at the two gestures. "I... Either one is fine" He said softly. The dragon gave a slight smile and squeezed Loki's hand back. "I haven't done that sort of thing in so many years... It feels nice"

"I barely know what I'm doing... " Loki admitted. He continued to walk and ignored how red Mimura was becoming. The cat couldn't really get embarrassed because he didn't know what there was to get embarrassed about. He just walked on and didn't blush at all. Loki looked around as they started to enter the village.

Mimura had managed to calm down by the time they reached the village. As soon as the entered it they were swarmed by fox people, all of them greeting Mimura and asking him questions about his trip. Mimura laughed softly and answered as many of the questions as possible. Things like how he was, if had had any problems on his trip, how his sister was doing, as well as questions about Loki. The dragon managed to answer all of them as he rummaged through the bag on his shoulder. He managed to find a small sack and handed it to one of the foxes, explaining that it was a type of seed that should be able to grow in the area.

Loki watched and found himself backing away. He wasn't use to being surrounded by so many other people. He got a bit distracted at times and would want to wander off but since he and Mimura were still holding hands, that was really tough and Loki always found himself coming back to the conversation only catching about half of it. The conversation didn't feel like it was going to ever end and Loki was getting hot but he refused to complain and just had to wait.

Mimura felt Loki backing away and turned his head towards the boy. "Are you alright...?" He folded a wing around the cat protectively before turning back to the foxes. "I need to buy some clothes for Loki... Would all of you mind if we just had a bit of space to do that?" He asked. The foxes immediately agreed and backed off.

"Sorry.... I'm not use to so many people around me..." Loki followed Mimura away from the crowed and was nuzzled into his wing a little. It was hot but Loki just wanted to feel safe and comfortable.

"It's alright, they can get a little over excited" Mimura felt his way along the street. "I won't be able to help you much with picking out clothes... But I'll go with you so that they don't overwhelm you with questions. Does that sound alright?" He stopped in front of a clothing shop.

"That's fine," he agreed and walked up to the clothing shop with Mimura. The cat didn't even know what he was suppose to get and figured what he was wearing in a size that fit was a good idea. "Hi," he spoke just loud enough to be heard.

The fox running the store perked up when he saw the two come in. "Oh, welcome in~" He ran over and bowed to Mimura. "And welcome back Mimura sir. Is this a friend of yours?" the fox asked, looking over at Loki.

"Yes, this is Loki... He's my..." Mimura paused for a moment, his cheeks growing pink. "He's my lover, he only just came to live here so he needs some proper clothes for the weather."

The fox stared at Loki with wide eyes. "Wow... It's an honor to meet you"

"No one has ever said it was an honor to meet me before...." Loki mumbled quietly to himself before bowing slightly to the fox trying not to be rude. At least the cat was polite despite everything else. He had glanced at Mimura again and saw how calling Loki his lover affected the great dragon. It was quite strange.

"What sort of clothes would you like to wear?" The fox asked Loki. "We have lots of different styles that I can show you."

Mimura smiled and put his wings away. "You can buy whatever you'd like. Don't worry about money, okay?"

"I don't understand money or clothes so I guess anything functional works?" He really had little idea what was going on. Loki had worn a rag basically all his life and then he was given something nicer to wear before he was sent off and was now wearing a robe. The cat was also nervous about this whole change. Everything seemed to be happening so fast.

The fox nodded and began to pick out different clothing. "What sorts of colors do you like sir?" He asked brightly.

Mimura stayed quiet and let Loki choose what he wanted to wear.

"I guess... black?!" Loki was a fan of the color and it looked good on him. He wasn't sure if it was functional though so he just had to wait for the fox to tell him if it was OK to wear that. The cat looked back at Mimura nervously but knew the dragon couldn't see.

"Ah... I'm so sorry Loki sir" The fox bowed his head, his ears flattening. "Black will just make you get too hot... It would be very bad for you to wear it... I don't even carry any black clothes, but if you really want some I could have some custom made? Otherwise I just have some gray colored clothes..."

"I don't think it would be good to wear black, not at first at at least" Mimura said with a frown. "Maybe after you get used to the heat"

"R-Right.... Then... what about that one?" He pointed to a light pink robe. "I didn't mean to offend you...." Loki couldn't actually see light colors too well so the pink robe just looked like a form of white. It was also the clear that the cat was panicking just after seeing the way the fox, and the way Mimura reacted to his choice. "I didn't realize black was so bad around here... Sorry, please don't bother with anything too special..."
