Dragon's mate (Pigeon x wolf) (18+)

[WolfDog12]

Loki got up and walked around again and looked back with a smile. "These ones are perfect!" he stated excitedly. "This feels quite a bit better then the slippers... well they fit better at least." He knew Mimura couldn't see a smile so Loki walked over and kissed him the way the dragon had done to the cat earlier.

[Kotorichan]

Mimura leaned up into the kiss, smiling against the cat's lips. He searched for Loki's hand. "Good... Do you want to try on another pair or do you want want to get those ones?" He asked, breaking the kiss slightly so he could speak.

[WolfDog12]

"This woman really knew what she was doing. I really like these ones. What about you? Do you need another pair? I mean, you probably spend more time barefoot or in dragon form." Loki pressed their foreheads together so they could still stay so close while they talked.

[Kotorichan]

"I think these ones are fine, I got some new ones fairly recently." Mimura's cheeks were still pink.

 

"It's been almost three years... I know that isn't long for you but for the shoes it's a very long time" The old woman said in a stern tone. "You very badly need a new pair. I'll pick some out for you"

[WolfDog12]

"So shoes have some kind of life expectancy?" Loki was able to learn so much from these people that he was just so happy to be around. He sat down again and held Mimura's hand as the old fox went around to get Mimura a new pair.

[Kotorichan]

"Not exactly, but they do get worn down eventually" Mimura sat back down and pulled his shoes off with his free hand. "I never notice how bad they get until holes in the bottom"

 

The woman came back with a couple pairs of shoes. "I tried to find some that won't wear out too quickly, but you really should replace them about once a year."

"I can also help you if they start looking too worn out I'll tell you!" Loki was clearly having a good time. Like a kid, he was swinging his feet back and forth with a huge smile that actually hurt his jaw since he wasn't really use to smiling at all. The cat use to hate dragons but if they were all like Mimura, he could seriously learn to love them.

[Kotorichan]

"That would be wonderful... Thank you" Mimura smiled and gave Loki's hand a light squeeze. The old fox helped Mimura put on a pair of shoes and stepped back as he stood to test them.

Loki got up with Mimura so he wouldn't have to worry about letting go of his hand. The cat walked with the dragon around the room until they made it back to the seats. "How do they feel?" He asked before the old fox had the chance to.

[Kotorichan]

"They feel perfect" Mimura was happy that Loki didn't let go of his hand, it was much more comforting to have someone to hold onto. "well then, we'll wear these out if that's alright" He faced the general direction of the fox who nodded.

"of course" She began to clean up the shoes that didn't fit. "I'd say they're free but I know you'll pay me anyway"

Mimura laughed softly and brought out his purse. "I don't have much use for my gold, I don't need to save it for anything"

Loki watched the two interact finding it fascinating since he was so not use to friendly contact, especially around him. Once they paid they left the shop and the feline stared down at the new shoes that Mimura had bought. "They look good on you," He said.

[Kotorichan]

Mimura paid and walked out with Loki. "They do?" He smiled and squeezed the cat's hand. "I'm glad you think so... I wish I could tell you that yours look good, but I would just be assuming" He laughed softly. "Well... I guess we should go buy food. Unless there's something else you would like to look for?"

Loki shook his head. "I'm good with just getting food. I'm pretty hungry after all." Loki couldn't help but wonder if he'd be rejected if Mimura could see him... Or would it just be a case of having to put up with the cat no matter what since he did have the mark to be a dragon's mate. It was surprisingly easy for Loki to lose his train of thought as he got distracted by a large number of ants marching around and he turned to follow them only to be stopped since he was still holding hands with Mimura. Loki focused again and continued walking normally.

[Kotorichan]

Mimura followed after the cat when he felt the pull on his hand. "Hm? Did you see something interesting? "He smiled at Loki, the dragon really wasn't in any rush and was more than happy to let his partner explore the area. "We don't have to go get food just yet, you can look around if you'd like"

"Oh, no, that's alright. I just got distracted by some ants...." He felt ashamed of his constant diversions. Loki was always getting turned around or lost over some of the stupidest things. "Sorry," he had his head down and just tried to focus on following Mimura where ever he went.

[Kotorichan]

Mimura frowned and stopped walking when he heard the shame in the cat's voice "Loki..." He gently pulled the boy into his arms and nuzzled his hair. "You have no reason to apologize... I think it's wonderful that are interested in things that most people wouldn't even notice. It makes me so happy to hear you mention tiny things about the world that I can no longer see, it feels as though I can experience it though you..." He pressed a gentle kiss to Loki's forehead. "So please feel free to point out those small things and take the time to examine them more closely"

Loki was pretty surprised by the way Mimura reacted to his uneasiness and was being so gentle. It was a welcomed gesture but also a foreign one. "Alright, I'll observe and describe everything to you so you can see them in your mind." It was a bit of a childish notion but it was pretty normal for him. Loki was finally learning how to live. Who knew a dreaded dragon would be the one to show him such things.

[Kotorichan]

"Thank you..." Mimura ran his fingers down the boy's cheek, finding his lips before leaning in and kissing him gently. He wrapped one arm around Loki's waist, enjoying the feeling of Loki's body against his own. After a moment he broke the kiss, his cheeks red.

Loki blushed as well and happily kissed Mimura back. Something strange seemed to pull at the feline's heart and he wondered why he felt this way. "Let's go get some food.... I want to have a nice meal with you..." Loki was a little embarrassed to say this but he actually liked spending time with this dragon.

[Kotorichan]

"Would you like to go to a restaurant or just buy some food and go back to my home?" Mimura gently stroked his waist. He wished that he could touch Loki more. He wanted to feel the boy's face and body to get a better idea of what he looks like. But now wasn't the appropriate time for that.

"I'm fine with both. Which would you prefer?" It was probably best that they go and return home because Loki still wasn't use to being around lots of people but maybe a restaurant was a good idea for them right now and could give a good chance for Loki to start getting use to crowds. Still, maybe some alone time with Mimura was needed.... it was certainly welcomed.

[Kotorichan]

Mimura thought for a moment, he wasn't too fond of going to restaurants since he couldn't read the menus and he ate more than the foxes. "I think it would be best to just get some ingredients and eat at home... If that's alright with you?" He pulled away slightly and took Loki's hand.

"Alright, that sounds good!" Loki was surprisingly happy with the results. He couldn't understand why but there was a slight smile on his face that he was actually quite glad that Mimura couldn't see. The feline just followed along holding the dragon's hand as the two walked on down the street to find someplace selling food. Loki walked into the shop with his new mate and looked around for a long while. He was content letting Mimura pick whatever he wanted.

Mimura managed to find the right store pretty easily. He could smell the food much better than he could smell shoes. He talked to the shopkeeper so that he wouldn't have to find everything himself.

He bought some seasonings and herbs, as well as dry and fresh meat and fish. The shopkeeper put everything in a large bag which Mimura slung over one shoulder without any effort, despite how heavy it was.

He turned towards Loki. "Is there anything else you'd like to get? I know there's some candy somewhere around here..."

"Candy?" Loki tilted his head in confusion. He really hadn't had any candy. No one would give a cursed kid any kind of sweets. "I don't really need anything but thanks." As curious as he was, Loki didn't want to put Mimura out anymore than he already was. The feline wasn't paying for anything as it was and he no way to repay the dragon for all his kindness.
