Kazuya touched Amagumo's shoulder and he said "Don't say such things, you're not a burden at all, in fact you're patient enough to come with me from place to place and not complaining about it."

Kazuya's tone changed to a more serious one. He enjoyed Amagumo's company a lot but he was responsible for having him following him around. He tried not to show it that much because he didn't want to bring the mood down or make the boy feel bad.

After a moment or two, he excused himself and reassured Hiroshi that they would be back later on.

Hiroshi bid them farewell and Kazuya waved his hand at him.

He pulled the door open, he waited for Amagumo to exit the shop and then he pulled the door close.

"Okay now, we have to cross this deadly road again. We'll take the bus in order to go to the club."

Kazuya then pointed at the bus stop right across the road where many people were waiting there.

He looked at the boy for a few minutes and then he took Amagumo's hand into his exactly like he did before."It's safe now." he said and he gently pressed his hand into the boy's hand while crossing the road. After being on the other side of the road, the bus stop was a few steps away from them.

"We have to wait for a while." Kazuya sighed still holding Amagumo's hand into his.

He didn't want to let go and as holding it, he hoped that the boy wouldn't mind.

After five minutes or so, the bus finally arrived. Kazuya waited for Amagumo to get on the bus and then he did so himself. The doors closed and the bus left. The atmosphere was literally unbearable to a point it was suffocating. The bus was so crowded that almost none could move.

Kazuya managed to grab a bus-holder and he had Amagumo very close to him holding his hand tight.

After a few moments of silence, Kazuya asked "How about we meet up around 1200 p.m. at the park we first met? I was thinking about going to the beach. It's been a long while since i last swam in the ocean." Kazuya's face had an almost nostalgic look on it. He then looked at Amagumo asking "What do you think? Is it ok with you?"

The bus driver was going a bit faster than he should and after a few moments he hit the breaks out of the blue so he could avoid hitting a bunch of teenagers who didn't pay attention to the road while crossing it. Inside the bus, some of the passengers almost fell down, others fell on others. Right at this moment, Kazuya instinctively wrapped his hand around Amagumo's waist and he hugged him in order to protect him from falling or even worse getting hurt. "Are you alright?" he asked while pressing the boy's head on his chest.

A warmth that we long to find, a filling that all of us desire. That sensation of having someone there by our side, a hand to hold, to never let go. Memories of the past are like a strong hold for us all, and some of us fear letting that go, almost as if in fear that when they do let go, they will forget everything, and never remember all the people who were special, those hands that we so desperately cling on to. A fear that some might think irrational, but to those who have that particular feeling, completely justified. They don't let go, in order to cherish a memory, a thought, a special place in their hearts, meant for that particular moment, but over time it slowly eats away at them, from the inside out, clouding their mind, blackening their judgement, making them feel as if all was dark and dreary.

But if we simply let go, will it disappear? Or will it wash away the pain? We will never know unless we find out for ourselves, by taking that risk, letting the faded strings of the past slip from between our fingers, to be swept away by the current of time. Let the mind be washed clean, but never, ever forget the good things that happened. We will remember. We will cherish it. And to those who simply can not let go...hold on to their hands and hearts, and never leave their side. Because they are the ones...who need us the most.

Words swirled around inside Amagumo's mind as he walked back outside, glancing back for the briefest moment at the building behind them. They would be back, and maybe by that time he'd actually remember the artist's name, and be able to get the CD that he wanted. Until then, he was perfectly okay with what was going on, in fact, even though he didn't appear so on his exterior, inside he was elated at the thought that he was making a new friend, and that this friend did not mind that he was pretty much just tagging along with him everywhere. All those kind words that Kazuya had said to him were bounding around inside his skull, and just thinking about them made his lips turn up slightly in the smallest of smiles.

He was distracted from his thoughts when he heard Kazuya's voice, and looks over at him. They were at the road, which they needed to cross to get to the bus station, where they would wait for the bus which would take them to wherever Kazuya had to go. Nodding shakily, he was almost instantly comforted when the older male takes his hand, that safe warmth spreading from the security of his hand, all the way to his toes. Despite that however, the heart in Amagumo's chest pounded with fear, and when they took their first step forward he squeezes his eyes shut, trusting Kazuya to lead them both to safety, and only when they were on the other side, and heard the other say that they were safe, did he open them again.

Even as they were safe on the side of the road where the bus would pick them up, Kazuya had not let go of Amagumo's hand, and the younger male was totally and completely comfortable with this. In fact, he was quite glad that he got to hold on to Kazuya's hand longer, like before, it made him feel...protected. Safe from harm. Secure. Gently he squeezes Kazuya's hand, and after a moment or two he dozes off while standing up, his eyes shutting ever so slightly, that faint smile still on his lips. For the first time in a very, very long time, Amagumo was...actually happy. He liked school, and enjoyed the swim team and everyone else on it...but that didn't actually make him feel complete. No, not until he felt how it felt to hold to Kazuya's hand did he feel that happiness.

It didn't really take all that long for the bus to arrive, and when they got on it was extremely crowded, so much so that Amagumo was literally chest to chest with Kazuya, barely an forearms' length space between them. And even with how cramped they were, Kazuya still had not let go of the white haired male's hand, but Amagumo was not complaining. Every moment that went by while holding onto the other male's hand made him ever happier. It was quiet between them at first, all he could hear were mumbles of other passengers and Kazuya's breathing as well as his own, before the other speaks up. Glancing at Kazuya, he smiles a bit more, nodding his head softly up and down. "That sounds wonderful. It's been a while since I've been there too."

Falling quiet again, he was about to doze off once more when suddenly he was lurching straight into Kazuya, as the bus suddenly comes to a stop when the driver stomps on the breaks. Instinctively his arms reach out to try and grab on to something, and it was Kazuya he'd grabbed on to. His fingers grasp on to the back of Kazuya's clothing, and after the initial shock of what had happened wore off, he realized how they were. He could feel Kazuya's arms around his waist, and the ear he had pressed against the older male's chest could hear the others' heart beating in his chest. They were so close...the taller male's body heat was practically washing over him, like some sort of safety blanket. Closing his eyes, trying to qualm himself from the trembling fit that had taken over his body, and attempting to calm the pounding heart in his chest, he hears Kazuya's question. Swallowing hard, he answers, his voice cracking slightly. "Y-yeah...I'm okay..."

His hands at Kazuya's back go from clutching to gently holding, so that he was now hugging the older male. He knew how close they were standing, their bodies pressed against he each other. But...for him...he was slightly unaccustomed to being in such close proximity with another, but for some reason, it felt...right. Taking a deep breath, he could smell Kazuya, and to him, Amagumo, it was nice. Even after the bus started moving again, he did not move away from the older male, hoping to every god that he could remember the name of that Kazuya would not mind.

"Kazuya?" He murmurs, the fingers to one hand curling slightly, the tips gently clasping on to the fabric of Kazuya's clothing. "Is this what having a real friend feels like?" He practically whispers the question, so wasn't completely sure if the other could hear the question that had been asked of him. Even if Kazuya hadn't heard it, that was okay. Amagumo wasn't quite sure he was ready to hear the answer if the older male had heard the question. Falling quiet, he wonders to himself how much longer the bus ride would be, hoping, deep down, that it would last just a bit longer. He wanted to enjoy this moment...

Kazuya was more than pleased to hear Amagumo saying that he was okay even though his voice suggested otherwise. The boy didn't move away from him even when everything was back to normal. Kazuya could feel his little hands hugging him and he felt the urge to protect someone as fragile as him. After a few stops, the bus was almost half-empty.

Kazuya turned his head and he spotted two seats so he took Amagumo's hand and the phrase "Follow me!" came next. He waited for the boy to sit down and then he sat down as well.

After a moment or two, Kazuya turned to look at Amagumo "I heard you saying my name back there, but i didn't catch the rest you said. What did you want to tell me?" he asked while thinking that the boy was still pretty shaken up because of what happened a while ago. Thinking that this might help him calm down a bit, he wrapped his arm around him with his hand touching his waist and he brought him closer to him. "After i'm done with this, let's go grab a bite, okay?""You must be hungry." Kazuya said sounding concerned about the boy.

They were getting closer to their destination which meant that they would have to get off the bus soon. "We're almost there." He said while getting up and he waited for Amagumo to get up as well. Then he headed to the bus' middle door and he waited for the bus to stop and the doors to open. The doors opened and he got off the bus, he then turned around and he stretched his hand out to Amagumo in order to help him do the same.

He kept holding the boy's hand tight as he led the way to the club that was nearby. After finally arriving at the club, they were greeted by the manager.

"Hisao-san , good to see you again!" Kazuya said and smiled. "Same here and now let's fix that problem we are facing otherwise your gig will be cancelled." Hisao said and he gestured Kazuya to follow him. "Let's go!" Kazuya said to Amagumo and he followed the manager to the DJ booth.

"There is a problem with two of the consoles." "Well, i'll leave you to it." Hisao said and left the booth leaving Kazuya and Amagumo alone.

"Hmm, let's find the problem! Hisao-san wasn't that specific about it!" Kazuya giggled and after making a few preparations, a tracklist started playing, Kazuya lowered the volume since it was too loud, still trying to find out what the problem was.

The playlist kept playing and the problem was spotted! "So that's what it is." Kazuya figured out what the problem was and he laughed.

"Stay here, i'll be right back." Kazuya told Amagumo and he run downstairs to find the manager.

"Hisao-san, the problem appears to be the transition between the songs. Not really a problem , it's fixable." he said.

"Good, very good. Can you fix it now?" Hisao asked.

"I''m gonna need my laptop for that. I can come over earlier than we agreed and fix it, it won't take long." Kazuya said in hurry since he didn't want to leave Amagumo alone for long.

"I see, alright then. Come over at 2000 then." Hisao said and he answered his phone that was ringing non stop.

Kazuya bowed and he run upstairs to the dj booth where Amagumo was.

"I'm sorry for that." "This is what i do for living by the way, i'm a musician and i often play music for people like i'm gonna do tonight." Kazuya said and he took a pair of headphones, that were sitting next to one of the consoles, in his hands.

"Wanna see how it is like?" Kazuya asked Amagumo smiling.

Despite all the things we wish for, sometimes we don't always get our way. Those small things, hopes and dreams, are often shattered in to pieces, falling apart like an old book, with the pages drifting away in the wind, our hands unable to snatch at them because a thorny vine is holding them in place. We fear if we move, the spikes will dig in to our a flesh, causing us to bleed and be in pain, so we don't try, we sit there and allow it to happen, as our sad eyes watch the memories slowly float in to the distance.

Even though he didn't want the hug to end, it did, as Kazuya led them to an empty seat. Sitting down, rather reluctantly, he sighs softly, and looks to the other male as he spoke up, asking if Amagumo had said anything, apparently Kazuya had heard him say his name, but not what he'd said after. A silent pause followed, with which he smile softly, and shakes his head no. If he hadn't heard...that was okay. He blinks in surprise though when he felt an arm around his waist, and a hand upon his hip, and when he looked he saw that it belonged to Kazuya, who pulls him closer, so that the warmth he felt earlier once more washed over him.

"No, that's quite alright...I'm not all that hungry..." He replies to the offer of getting something to eat when they were done, a faint smile once more forming upon his lips. It didn't take that long to arrive to the place where they were headed, and as they got off, he took the hand that was outstretched towards him, allowing Kazuya to help him off, his feet once more placed firmly on the ground, where he felt most safe. A look of relief formed on his face, and his shoulders slumped in relief. He didn't know what he'd do if he had to go through something like what almost happened again.

Not once was his hand let go of, as they went to the building, and inside, where they greeted by someone who appeared to be the manager. Silently Amagumo follows after them, glancing around as they walked. They were led to a booth, where Kazuya was told to find the problem with what was going, Amagumo standing there quietly as he watched the older male work. His hands were clasped behind his back now, and his eyes followed Kazuya's every movement, and was slightly startled when the male spoke up, finally finding what was wrong with the system. Nodding when he was told to wait there, he watches as Kazuya leave.

All by himself now, he looked around, and almost immediately he began to panic slightly. He got this way in places he didn't know, or was new to. He had a worried expression on his face, and his entire body began to tremble. Heart racing, he glances around quickly, wondering how long it had been since Kazuya had left him in there? Seconds? Minutes? To Amagumo, it felt like an eternity, and when the older male finally returned, once more relief washed over him, though at first he'd been extremely startled suddenly seeing the door open.

"Oh...th-that's alright." He murmurs, but was surprised when he was told that this was what Kazuya did for a living. And he was going to do it tonight too...that sounded like...fun... And then there was him, probably going to go home, take a bath, have a small dinner, maybe read a book or watch the news...and go to bed. Alone. As he usually was. He didn't want this day to end, it was going so well, and for once he wasn't by himself. But like all good things, this day must too come to and end. But for now, he might as well enjoy it while he could.

Looking to the headphones that were being held in Kazuya's hand, then to the smile on his face, he nodded at the offer. "Sure. That would be nice..."

Kazuya was glad to see that Amagumo wanted to try out so while the tracks kept playing one after the other, he approached Amagumo, he leaned over to him and he placed one of the headphones’ sides between the boy’s ear and his own so he could instruct him properly while listening to the music himself as well. “It’s not difficult at all and I think you’ll like it, well maybe.” He said grinning.

Kazuya adored what he did and he wanted for others to see and embrace the passion he felt for music.

He hoped for them to find something they had lost, they had longed for , they had once hoped for in his music. He wanted people to feel music with their hearts and then with their bodies.

“Try rotating this button here.” Kazuya pointed at a black/red rotary button.

“You just enhanced the bass, that will make people dance easier to the music since bass provides the tempo for dancing.”

“Now try this slide button.” Kazuya said while taking Amagumo’s hand placing his index finger on the button and then his own on top of it. “You should slide it gently like this.” He slid the button and he continued “This increases or decreases the level of the tracks on each deck to put the track played on left deck at the same volume as the track played on the right deck, even if they were recorded at different. So useful and cool, isn’t it? ” He said with a broad smile on his face.

He seemed so happy at that moment. He was really having fun and he hoped the same for the boy as well.”One last button now, cause we have to leave. Press that one.” Kazuya pointed at a red button which was easy to find since there was no other red button on the console. Suddenly the music stopped “Yeah, this button turns this whole system off.” “We should get going now, I’m afraid.

There will be people here preparing all kinds of things for tonight and we shouldn’t bother them. “

Kazuya gestured for the boy to come and they headed out. “What do you think?” You liked it?”

He asked with the widest of all grins as soon as they were out of the club.

He took Amagumo’s hand in his own and he held it firmly while he began walking.

“”Are you sure you’re not hungry? There is a good pizza place a few blocks down.”

”Wanna go and check it out?” Kazuya asked as he turned to look at the boy.

A few steps further Kazuya said with a serious look on his face "I would like for you to come to my gig tonight but i'm afraid that your family won't agree with that. The last thing i want is to cause you trouble." He wanted Amagumo to be there and witness something new to him maybe.

He enjoyed the boy's company a lot and he would definitely like to know him better.

新しいことをしようとすると、我々はすべて私たちの生活の中で何をしたいのかです。 経験、成長、およびそのような、私たちは思い出を作るよう。 歴史、あなたが私たちの生活のこと... 絵本それをコールする場合。

Atarashī koto o shiyou to suru to, wareware wa subete watashitachi no seikatsu no naka de nani o shitai no kadesu. Keiken, seichō,oyobi sono yōna, watashitachiha omoide o tsukuru yō. Rekishi, anata ga watashitachi no seikatsu no koto... Ehon sore o kōru suru baai.

It wasn't fear any more that was felt, but a desire to open up and learn. To grow and do new things, experience life in ways that had never happened before. A longing to make memories and such so that one day, they can be looked back upon and thought about, making a smile appear, and a shining light in the eye. That sort of thing was what was wished for, wanted, NEEDED. Cherished moments. Quiet moments. Fun moments. Long moments. Warm moments and ones that just make the heart beat loudly. Recollections...Yes, that was it...That was what he wanted...

Every moment that passed he enjoyed, listening and learning about how to control the systems. His heart beat fast in his chest as Kazuya showed him what to do, what buttons to press, what dials to turn, how to manage everything. Amagumo couldn't help but smile as he got into the flow of what they were doing. And they were so close, his hand tingled from being touched, his skin was warm from being right next to Kazuya, and his cheeks flushed a pale cherry blossom pink. He was quite sad that it had to end, but all in all he was quite glad for the experience.

As they left, he looked to the older male, a smile still on his lips. "That was really fun. I liked it a lot. I bet you have so much fun doing that for people. It seems that way anyways..." As he said this they exit the club, and once again his hand was taken by Kazuya's. A happy, bubbly sensation formed in his stomach, and the color on his cheeks darkened just a bit more, and the smile on his lips grew. Hearing the question about food, he nods lightly. "I-I guess we could go check it out..." Even though he was not hungry, he wanted to stay with Kazuya, not leave.

They take a few more steps when suddenly Kazuya gets a rather serious expression on his face. He blinks, not quite sure that he was hearing this right. Was Kazuya really saying that he wanted him, Amagumo, to go to his gig? Was he really hearing this, or was it some kind of cruel joke? However, his stomach sank at the mentioning of a family, but his smile does not falter. He waves a hand from side to side casually, dismissing everything. "N-no, that's quite alright. I'm sure they would be okay with it. B-but I should, um, I should stay home, you know, get some rest..." He didn't want to mention to Kazuya about the fact that he had no family, that he was all alone... Not a mother, not a father, no siblings... It was just him, and his rabbit.

He smiles a bit more, though this time it doesn't reach his eyes, which had lost their sparkly look, and instead looked almost as if the lights had gone out from inside. "If I wasn't resting up, I totally be there!" He laughs softly, faking it entirely. He lightly squeezes Kazuya's hand, before loosening his grip. "I...um...I think maybe after we go to the pizza place, I should head back home. I have a bit of homework for the break I need to finish up..."

“You did? I’m so happy to hear that.” A big smile appeared on his face “I totally love what I do, it may be the only thing I know how to do but I don’t care as long as I do it well.” Kazuya said still smiling and the tone of his voice had become one of pride and he placed his hand on his chest.

Kazuya’s art was his passion, addiction and obsession. He would always get very ardent once he started talking about it.

On their way there, Kazuya received an answer to his question about Amagumo coming to his gig but it was totally not the reply he was expecting. He felt that something had changed, the boy’s expression, his words. Something was off and Kazuya sensed it as if he had made the boy feel uncomfortable somehow. He really wanted Amagumo there but if he didn’t want to come, he should just let him be.

“Since your parents will be okay with it, why not come?””We are gonna have a blast!” the once joyful look that adorned his face a while ago was embraced by a slightly dark shade of blue. “I really thought you would like to come but if you don’t wanna, you can tell me.” He said and a faint gleam of disappointment could be seen in his eyes.

Silence absorbed the whole scenery and it felt as if everyone was turned to mute, especially Kazuya and Amagumo. After a while, they were outside the pizzeria. “Here we are!” Kazuya said as he pulled the door open. He waited for the boy to get inside and he pulled it closed again.

“Let’s go sit over there.” He said while pointing to a table with two chairs near a window.

He led the way there still holding Amagumo’s hand firmly. He had to let it go though once they sat down.

“I suggest we order one pizza and share it? What do you think?” Kazuya looked at Amagumo with a faint smile on his lips. He fell silent once more thinking of a way to convince the boy to join him tonight. He totally wasn't the type of guy who would give up that easily. His train of thought was interrupted by the waiter who was ready to take their order after he had kindly welcomed them.

悲しみ。助けられることができたものだったようではありません。それはちょうど起こりました...

Kanashimi. Tasuke rareru koto ga dekita monodatta yōde wa arimasen. Sore wa chōdo okorimashita...

It wasn't that he didn't want to go with to the gig. It wasn't that at all. In fact, he wanted to go more than anything in the world, but he couldn't find it within himself to accept the invitation full and agree to go. It was something a bit deeper than the unwillingness to go, it was a deep seated fear of trying new things, of opening up more than he already had an just going for it. Right now, this moment, it was fear, and sadness, and just a sense of insecurity. Even though he longed to make new memories, he also longed to keep the ones he had, and going to this place...well, he couldn't put it into words what he felt.

Silence enveloped them after the bit that Kazuya had said, about Amagumo saying if he didn't want to go, just to tell him. Only when they arrive at the pizza place, having gone inside, and sat down, did he speak up. First answering the question about ordering one pizza and sharing it, then going on to answer the bit about the gig. "Yes, that would be best. And um...Kazuya, about the gig. It's not that I don't want to go, it's just...I have some...things...to do..." He looks up at the other male, who was sitting across from him at the table. "I-I hope you can understand..."

He flexes his fingers, the warmth having gone away the moment Kazuya had let go of his hand. But he says nothing of it, just staring at his palm, and the faint lines that were all over his skin. When the waiter came up to take their order, Amagumo doesn't look away from his hand, but stays quiet, only speaking up about him getting whatever Kazuya did, as they were sharing a pizza. After the waiter had taken their order, he glances up at Kazuya across the table. Just gazing at him, silently thinking thoughts to himself.

Even though he barely knew the guy, Amagumo wanted to tell the other exactly why he couldn't go that night. He wanted to tell him everything, from the fact that the only family he truly had was a rabbit, his mother and father were no longer around, but instead having passed on from this world. That he was lonely, and wanted nothing more than a friend of his own. To be able to speak out more, to be more confident. But he couldn't find the courage to speak, to say anything of those things. Amagumo felt weak, like he was never going to get anywhere in life.

"So...um...how often...do you do these gig things...?" He asks quietly, looking out the window they were sitting by. Maybe...maybe when he was feeling a bit more confident, if that ever happened, he would be a bit more willing to go out to see Kazuya do his thing. Biting the inside of his cheek lightly, his eyes shift from the outside view to look to Kazuya, silently wishing that the older male could maybe...see through his silence, read him, and figure out...just what he was going through.

Kazuya heard Amagumo out but he didn't respond. All he did was to get up, pick up his chair and place it almost next to the boy's chair before sitting down. He then turned to the waiter who was waiting there and said "We'll have an Italian salad and a Margherita." After jotting the order down, the waiter asked Kazuya

"Anything to drink?" to which Kazuya responded

"A Shibuya beer and a bottle of water. "

"Is that all?"

"Yes."

"Thank you very much."

The waiter said and left. He saw the waiter walking away and then he turned to Amagumo.

The boy was looking at his hands and he seemed like he was lost in his thoughts. He gently grabbed his hand out of the blue and he looked at him. "I'm sorry for pressuring you, i just wanted you to be there, that's all."There will be other gigs and maybe you could join me then." Kazuya had a sparkling smile on his face and he hoped that what he said would become reality some day.

"Having a gig doesn't happen often. I go to many clubs and i talk to the owners, i basically promote myself and there are times when i'm given a chance and others when i'm not. I mostly collaborate with bands and artists which is also an amazing experience and i have made many friends that way. Most of them are great people." he said and chuckled.

"Do you like it here?" he asked while still holding Amagumo's hand.

"After we're done eating, let's go back to Hiroshi-san, you were looking for a CD to buy, right?"

he said with his eyes fixated on the boy. While waiting for the boy to say something, the waiter arrived with their order. The pizza smelled so good that Kazuya couldn't wait to taste it. After the waiter set everything on the table, he left, leaving them to enjoy their meal.

Kazuya was left-handed so it was easy for him to just take the pizza cutter in his hand and cut it while he could still hold the boy's hand. He really felt like he couldn't let go, he couldn't explain it, he just couldn't. After cutting the pizza, he took a slice and he placed it on Amagumo's plate and then he took another one and he placed it on his own. "Enjoy!" he said and hesitantly let go of the boy's hand once again so they could eat properly.

He picked the pizza slice up and he took a bite. Almost immediately, he closed his eyes and a smile of satisfaction could be seen on his face. "Delicious as always". he said and after he placed it back to his plate he opened his beer can and he poured some into his glass. He did the same with Amagumo's water bottle and glass. "Do you like it?""You should try the salad too!" he said smiling broadly.
