[Haunted Day Dream]

Tyler shrugged his shoulders looking quite less reserved than before. “I found pictures of the outside,” he whispered voice hushed as he pulled out his tablet and watched it glow with the soft click of a button. “Look, look,” he said laying the tablet out so the three could see. His finger swiped across the screen moving through the story.

 

The story wasn’t really the interesting part of this. The vivid pictures of the outside seemed to pulse with life and Kaylin wished that he could know if this was what the outside looked like. Kaylin leaned forward and asked, “Do you think this is really what’s out there right now?” His mind seemed to work quickly as he thought about how the world must have changed. That was why they were stuck underground after all.

Before my brother was, taken away, for talking about it and starting up that riot, It's changed so much, you won't recognize it." Kaylin then looked at Tyler. "Ty?"

Tyler looked at the pictures as Kaylin shot down the idea that the outside could even possibly be like them. He slumped in his seat a little bit. “But just think,” he said. “What if it is like this? I’m sure that it looks different, but I can’t help but dream,” the boy stated then with a small shrug of his shoulders. He put his tablet back into the bag feeling somewhat discouraged before Tyler and Kaylin began talking about their plan.

 

“This is practically treason,” Kaylin said after Tyler sat in his lap. “To actually go outside,” he added softly gently scratching his head as though he were trying to figure out what that would actually mean. Leaving could certainly cause some major problems within the underground cities. What if they poisoned the air supply?

 

“But what about getting back in? What if we get caught?” They were going to need to do some more planning before even thinking about going outside. Neither of the boys wanted to do anything that would ruin their life's.

 

Kaylin let out a sigh then as he looked at Tyler’s back. “I say we do this and learn what is actually out there, but we need to be ready for anything that can happen. We’re going to have to add weapons to your list of supplies,” he pointed out. There was no telling what dangers actually lay behind the metal walls.

 

He then turned his eyes to Tyler who said, “I’m in too.” he said pouting and crossing his arms across his chest. No, they had actually found a way out of this prison! It was a great thing.

They knew that they should keep their voices down in a public place like this and talking about what they were talking about. Tyler and Kaylin both sighed.

Jack was as always running late to the meeting where they were supposed to talk about the plan on how to get out of this thumb. He was trying so hard to take care of his family but at the same time he wanted to risk his life in order to find out if the world outside was worth dying for.

 

There were guards everywhere the road that he was one, so he needed to move a little more slow than he used to. Since the riot that was made a few weeks ago, they started to monitor everyone to be sure that no one was gonna make the same mistake. Which by the way was costing your life. So, instead of risking his life in vain in that dungeon, he wanted to do something even greater that the leader itself along with his other friends.

 

Turning around the corner almost tripping himself in his left feet's, he manage to catch the other two. "Sorry guys .... It's really a race out there. They started to add new guards around the city and all so if you had a plan on how to get out of here better re-check it" he said breathing deeply trying to calm down his beating heart.
