Why do you like Yaoi?

There's really just something about a romance between two men that draws me in more than a romance between a man and a woman (although I do read my fair share of het pairings, but there's just something more...exciting? Enticing? About BL pairings).

 

Well, that's for anime and manga. As for real life pairings (like kpop), it's that, PLUS the fact that if they end up together I won't have to cry over another girl "taking away" my favorite HAHAHA ^^

I can't really say for sure what is it that makes me like yaoi, but I like how it is very different from what I used to read. It felt really refreshing after all those young adult fantasy book relationships I used to read. And then there's the simple fact that I find b x b action to be extremely hot. Always have. So me finding yaoi was only a matter of time. =)

Maby it's also because the passion more people have for this is way more intense than people who say like harem anime.

I read Cardcaptor Sakura and watching how affectionate Yukito and Toya, and then I read X/1999 and watching Kamui and Fuma. And I realized I like this kind of setting. At first my target was Shounen Ai, but then I stumbled upon Yaoi, and I've been reading it ever since

Because it reflects allot in the human hearts in most stories, ugliness sweetness bitterness, Stories like paradise view are tearing me up inside, but this is just as an imported emotion as feeling the sweetness in most stories.

 

I like how complicated most stories are, Does the flower blossom for an example, it is a slow paced stories but excellent made. For me it is all these things which makes yaoi fun to read, most of the stories are the same, as in setup you basic know where it will lead to right from the start, but there are some jewels among them which keep me attracted to yaoi.

Because I'm im love with romance stuff in general, but I missed something while reading the hetero stuff (maybe I'm gay myself ? :'D ). And after all this years, there is so awesome stuff in some of the storys, I don't want to miss a single story. So I'm hunting story after story, to find my one all-time-favorite. :In love:

Other than the sexy time scenes it's probably the story/plot?

I usually like the dramma and angst but in yaoi them being 2 males makes it even more complicated... and that kinda draws me in~ also, seeing 2 guys being fluff or romantic makes me all happy and just in awe~~~ :cuteonion41:
