Yeah.... that's a issue I found with the Rp community (at least on this site), that too few wants to play Seme...I mean just look at all the recuitment thread wanting a dominant sadistic seme to own them! (not that i don't get the appeal)

 

Anyway back to our RP Since Fuu is Seke I was hoping he could fill the Seme vacuum as least partly, and the NPCs could fill the rest of the blanks.

 

But I must confess since I was hoping the players would mingle amongst themselves when i came up with the plot, the NPCs in the RP may not be very.... how should I put it.... accessible, and there might not have enough of them to go around.

 

Another thing is since they are NPCs I do not guarantee their survival. So the character you thought to be the love of your life could end up dead in the middle of the RP and leave you with noone to flirt with. You may even end up courting with the villain without knowing it. On the other hand romancing the villain may actually be the sole route towards a happy ending for all. So it's a risk the players would have to take with NPCs. The best way to make sure everyone could find love is still having relationships with other players.

It'd take a lot of trial and error to even have a decent conversation with Fuu to start with, let alone get him to notice you in that sort of way. He's very choosy of who he opens up to. So him being an actual to goodness Seme is 99% chance to not at all. Sorry if that disappoints any who is actually interested in my rude and snarky Fuuyo.

 

He'd pretty much be turning his nose to both guys unless they can catch his appeal, and that, in itself, is nearly impossible. Maybe I'll ask some others if they would like to join...if that is okay.

Well, if Fuu is hard to get then that's part of the challenge/fun. Plus inter-player relationship isn't up to me, is up to you guys sorting it out. I hope you guys would mingle, but if you don't that's up to you guys. I'm sure you want to see Fuu finding love in the story as well.

 

And Absolutely! If you can get a seme into the picture it would definitely help a lot. But I still want to limit the player count to 4 though.

I was hoping you'd show up! Of course you're welcomed to join, and that makes four players, perfect!

 

As with using your old character sure if you feel like it. I've said the same to Funny otaku and Fallen Snow about reusing old characters, basically his involvement in the last storyline "did not happen", and your character would be for all intends and purposes "new". Except for Fallen's character though as his was the sole "survivor".

That is quite alright. I do not mind him being new, as he wasn't able to be used that much in the other storyline as it is. But, the same thing goes right? About what Damon is? If you remember, of course.

Alright gentlemen! We've got all four of the characters ready and I'll start the thread as soon as possible. It's interesting we got too "Wind" characters in the team)( Fuu and Kaze)

 

Anyway. About how I'll start the story, as I mentioned in the beginning I wish to let the military recruit your characters, I'll start the thread with the characters getting picked up by the soldiers and was told of the situation in Tokyo. Of course during your turns you could describe the day or days your character had before the military showed up, their reaction to each other and to what the military told them, and whether they would be cooperative or not. I don't expect everyone to go "yeah let's be a team!" from the beginning, but at least everyone would be on the same page and have a excuse for knowing each other. Is everyone okay with this?

, since your character is a bit different from the others because he's more like a normal person, it'd be strange if he got dragged along with Sasuke, Fuu, and Damon by the military. So I think I'll start him off separately from the others, or not mention him in my post at first and see how you roll with him? In any case could you tell me a bit more about his situation? His upbringing, social status, etc. His mother was Japanese, and what was her story? I assume being able to afford a trip to Japan his family must be quite wealthy? And as a foreigner just arriving he'd likely be still around the neighborhoods where foreigners gather, and haven't venture too off into the mess of the city? Replay or PM me at your leisure.

Note to the players:

 

As you're aware, this RP involves supernatural elements, and since monsters and demons simply don't work in broad day light, so a lot of the events would be nocturnal, which leaves the day to be the time you rest, interact, and investigate. And also try not to progress the time too quickly in your posts, especially during night time. I encourage you to coordinate among yourselves as to who is doing what, where and when, and also I welcome you guys to discuss the content of the RP. I'll leave the mingling to you, and in terms of investigating there're a few suggestions from me:

 

1. Check the record of supernatural events given by the military

2. Ask around the city about strange incidents before and after the earthquake. Police may hold one part of the info while pedestrians holds another.

3. Tab into the spiritual realm (whatever it means according to your character's abilities. Fortune telling, talking to spirits, or even just "feel" the city somehow)

4. other stuff you guys come up with.

No no no no no, I wasn't talking about you when I mentioned the time progression thing. You've been just PERFECT so far. I mentioned it because in our last thread someone jumped to morning while everyone else is still at night. Keeping everyone chronologically at a similar point is easier for me to arrange events and stuff.
