You should know the basics of roleplaying! In fact, I give my partners so much benefit of the doubt that you can go ahead and post one-liners or however much you want at me if you allow me to do the same~! Just know how to capitalize and punctuate properly. In fact, I'm what some people call "lazy literate?" I prefer putting effort into serious writing I do on my own, rather than into a roleplay. Usually, anyway! If you have your own expectations, feel free to tell me them and I'll probably comply if I'm interested.

Kinda ties in with all of the above! Roleplaying's just playtime for me -- a game at heart, so I don't treat it much like "okay we're going to sit down and do some serious writing today. 5 paragraphs every post." I do it to get my rocks off, and there's ultimately no accounting for originality or taste unless we impose it ourselves. So you can play your cliche whiny ukes so long as we can both have fun, y'know?

Gosh yes! I love this genre and if anyone else loves it you should tell me right away!! My favorite protagonist is probably Linghu Chong from the Smiling, Proud Wanderer, and Dongfu Bubai is a good match sometimes. So is Guo Jing and Wanyan Kang! I think I prefer original stuff in this genre though~!
