addyLicious
Day 15, Theme: Flower Cherry blossoms represent a lot of meanings for different cultures. I revere how these delicate flowers means bravery and hope. That despite their short-lived life, they stand in beauty and courage. They are the representation of depth beyond their vulnerable state. Teesie
Man, I've never drawn a flower in this way. I've always done so with acrylic and it was abstract. Yes, yes...I so fucked the coloring. =/ I've always sucked at it. Yellow rose with red tips … Stands for friendship or falling in love.

It's poisonous so death is also attached to its meaning. It also represents that good things come to an end.

natsukilao
Theme 15 "Flower" "Black Rose" = Death, Mourning, Rebirth and Rejuvenation... Black roses, whether a dark red variety or artificially colored, generally represent death, farewells and endings. Of course, those could be negative or positive depending on the situation. "Pretty Black Roses" Pretty black roses, it is nice for you to show... I wanted to shed some light on your pretty little toes... You smell so clean , and look so nice... let me hold you once, don't think twice. Pretty black roses, Thanks for letting me hold you, you gave me cuts and bruises... your thorns left marks all over me... my mind is tormented for the thanks you've given me.. Pretty black roses, i once thought you were my everything... Treated you as kind as a king... instead you destroy my mind , and waste my time... feeding my thoughts with foolery. Pretty black roses, Give me ALL my love... I want it all now. You have mistreated me.. I gave you my all and you just watched me fall... Now I am left with scars ... I swear the dark is so lonely.... Sometimes I really like to see one. if it's exist even in far away mountain land....
UlquiMitsu
Tulip Different tulip colors carry distinct meanings: yellow tulips symbolizing cheerful thoughts, white conveying forgiveness, purple representing royalty and red tulip the meaning "perfect love." Pink tulips mean affection and caring, orange tulips mean energy, enthusiasm, desire, and passion. It's said that the tulip's velvety black center represents a lover's heart, darkened by the heat of passion. With the power to rival roses in their red variety and the sweet charm to express simple joy when yellow, it's no wonder that in addition to all its other symbolism, in the language of flowers, a tulip bouquet represents elegance and grace. KohakuShadow
Theme 15 - Flower December 27th I have loved roses my whole life, long before I noticed their popularity in pop-culture and so forth. There's a long story to it, but I won't go into it here. Particularly Red Roses. That color alone has their own meaning. For Red Roses they symbolize: Sacrifice, Immortal love, Health, Memorial, and Passion. The symbolism for the flower itself is: Love, Honor, Faith, Beauty, Balance, Passion, Wisdom, Intrigue, Devotion, Sensuality, and Timelessness. It is usually a symbol of immortal love. But I tend to associate with the other symbolism for it which is, the Rose is a Symbolic carrier of secrets and/or tacit understanding. In Tarot the rose is a symbol of balance and usually means Promise, new beginnings, and hope. The beauty of a rose is of course contrasted with the thorns which represents defense, physicality, loss, thoughtlessness. The rose is seen in the major arcana as: Magician, Strength, Death and Fool cards. All of these cards hold strong meanings of balance and equilibrium. PrincessGumdrop
Theme 16: Okay...so I suppose the fact that I have these isn't inherently weird, just terribly out of context. Like if you walked into my room right now you might be like "Huh...that's...a massive amount of random objects" ^^; in fact they are actually for things I'm giving to my students on the last day of class. It was between this or a highlighter that smells of bananas (it's not supposed to)....I don't really have anything that's weird.

Nich Dc
Theme 15 Flower I can't think any kind's of flower that I really like to paint... but, I guess I have one flower that my mom really like in her garden... she said to me that name of that flower is poppy that flower suggests the consolation of rest, the wonder of dreams, and the sleep of death. -----These thoughts on the meaning of poppy symbolism is inspired by a dream, which is pretty uncanny as the poppy is a symbol of Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams. awesome hahaha Gleams from remote worlds visit the soul in sleep"
