Sosuke0549
Name: Julius Gale Butler/servant: Alfred Age: Appears to be 22, but he's just shy of 60 years old. He's considered to be a fairly young vampire. Gender: Male Position: Seme Race: Vampire Personality: Julius is quick witted, and intelligent. He enjoys playing games with people, and appears to be one step ahead of everyone else. He's "respectful" and can be quite charming, but very cruel when you dis-please him. He's very wealthy, but does not act like a spoiled brat, He takes care of others if their of use to him, He pretends to care about others but he's only looking out for his company and himself... or is he? He's very hard to read. He is the young master of the Gale family, and will someday lead his father's company. Since he's under his father, a head vampire, many respect him. History: Unknown Classes: There are 5 types of vampires, ranked according to the purity of their blood. The more diluted by human blood, the lower their ranking is. Level A are the Purebloods; the rarest, most elite, and most powerful class, whose blood lines have never mixed with any humans. They are the monarchy of the vampire race, meaning that they are very powerful and demonstrate many abilities such as being the only vampires able to turn humans into their own kind. However, these former human vampires are not powerful and will eventually lose their sanity and falling into Level E. Level B are known as the Aristocrats. Every Aristocrat has a special ability, ( ice, fire, electricity) and the power to heal faster, have more strength and move more quickly. They have a small amount of human blood in their ancestry. ( Julius is a Aristocrat ) ( Father is also a Aristocrat and is deeply involved in the Senate "Vampire Council") Levels C, D and E include humans who have been turned into a vampire by a Pureblood rather than being born as a vampire. These ex-humans would eventually go mad with blood-lust and become a "Level E" if they are not stabilized by drinking the blood of the one who originally bit them. Stabilized ex-humans are known as "Level C" or "regular vampires", and humans that have been bitten, but have not gone mad are "Level D". Level A Vampires. The heritage of these vampires haven't been diluted by human blood. They are the strongest type of vampires and have the most significant powers, and can destroy any lower vampire with ease. However, despite the fact Purebloods are very powerful, they only make up only a very SMALL portion of the vampire population. The Senate holds Purebloods in extremely high regard, to the point where it is taboo to kill or even harm a Pureblood vampire. As a result, they are treated like royalty. Opening Post: Julius stood before his father. His eyes focused and ears opened as he listened carefully to his father's instructions. "Do you understand," "As you wish father, I will not fail. " He gave his old man a very small smile, his eyes as cold and dark as ever. He bowed his head respectfully. "If you'll excuse me." He straightened himself up, and left his father room slowly, letting the door magically shut behind him. He stood in the hall way of his family's mansion. The floor was a dark green tile and a window allowed the full moon's light to shine and even dance against the sparkling floor. Julius took a moment to admire the night sky, the full moon, and even the distant stars. The night was made for vampires, it was difficult to step outside during the day. The suns brightness hurt their kinds eyes, and often gave them annoying and painful sunburns, not to mention that the day light was when they slept, so it was a bit of a challenge to stay awake. Vampire hunters roamed and protected the humans from level E vampires. Vampires that have lost there sanity and constantly feed, once humans that had feelings, but now they were only beasts in human form. It wasn't wrong to kill a level E... however it was forbidden to kill a pure blood. A full fledged vampire without a spec of human blood in its vains . Only they could turn humans into vampires, they creatived level E's and C's... they were extremely powerful, much more powerful then him, and to have a taste of their blood... was the hightest honor you could ever achieve. "Alfred. "Yes Lord Gale." His butler appeared out of no where. Wearing a all black butler suit. His hair white and eyes a dark red. He was on one knee, his head down. His snow white locks falling in his eyes. "We will be welcomed into the Vanderbolt estate tomorrow night, and I will be staying there for quite some time, prepare for my departure." "Yes my Lord." He quickly disappeared, running at inhuman speed to get his job done. Julius sighed, sliding his hands into his pant pockets. "..Mar Vanderbolt..." He muttered. Yukio Takamiya
The night was cold and the street lights flickered, discouraging one from roaming the dimly lit town. But one foolish man ignored the warning of the red moon and set out of his home to the bar in the next town. Hidden in the trees, Mar watched his prey move with a slight skip in his step as he looked forward to a night of women and beer. The scent of the man did not promise a grand meal but Mar was too hungry to be picky. He felt his fangs elongate, pressing into his lips as the man drew near, unaware of his upcoming demise. When the man reached the spot right below Mar, he dropped down on the man's shoulder. But before he could incapacitate his prey, it fell backwards due to his weight and Mar lost his balance. Mar cursed the man inwardly, he forgot how weak humans were. Both he and the man stood up together, Mar bent his head to cover his eyes. If his red eyes were seen, his prey would undoubtedly run away. That would make things a tad more troublesome and if there was anything that Mar hated, it was trouble, on his part that is, he didn't care about others. "Ha! A kid? What, d'ya think ya could rob me or somethin' . I'll have ya know that I have been teaching ya'll younglins the art of fighting ever since ya'll even born." As soon as he had finished speaking, Mar had disappeared from his sight. "Wha-" before he could speak again, Mar appeared behind him, legs clenched around his torso and fangs buried deep into his neck. The man fell to the ground with a thud the moment Mar had finished with him. Mar wiped his lips with the back of his hand and spat on the corpse. "Disgusting,"he said and turned away. Before he left, Mar gave the corpse one last glance and smiled sinisterly,"and so utterly foolish,"he added and disappeared into the night. Mar slammed open the doors of the Vanderbolt mansion with one little push of his finger. Servants lined up in two rows of eight on either sides of the entrance. "Welcome back, young master," they chorused. "Have a human with delicious blood ready in my room, I need to wash off this god awful taste from my mouth."the servants bowed and Mar headed for his quarters. Mar cursed again, he could only blame himself for enjoying the thrills of hunting instead of having blood given to him willingly. A women skimpily dressed was waiting by his bed when he exited the shower room. She gave him a flirty smile and got on fours, crawling towards him and displaying her cleavage. Mar's lips curled in disgust. Unsightly! Did he look like he would be interested in a woman more that tens years his age and taller than him? Mar felt the beginnings of a headache coming. Humans were just too dumb for their own good. Taking this slut as an example. She thought that she could win his favour, get turned into a vampire and enjoy eternity in comfort as his woman. He couldn't fathom how humans manage to avoid extinction being so dumb. Of course there were vampire hunters, the smarter lot of humans, but that was it. The woman placed her hands on his feet and rubbed up his legs to his hips then his chest to his neck and stayed there. Her head reached his chest while her knees remained planted on the floor. Mar thought about how stupid she must look and almost laughed. "You do know that I can easily kill you right?" Mar asked her. A flash of fear crossed her features but was quickly gone. She became bolder and started massaging his neck. Mar did not usually kill willing food, but this dog was just asking for her life to be ended. Mar grabbed her hair and yanked on it to reveal her neck. He bit down and she moaned. One of the reasons why some humans willingly give their blood was the pleasurable sensation that came with the bite, this woman was no different. By the time Mar was done, the woman lay sprawled on the floor, smiling but half dead. Someone knocked on the door and entered. "Young master, the lord and lady of the house requests your audience in the drawing room." A servant announced. "I will be there shortly,"Mar replied. He took out a scarf and wiped his mouth then dumped it on the woman. After ringing the bell, Mar left his room. Moments later, he heard his room door open, then close and the sound of his unfinished meal being dragged down the hallway. Mar entered the drawing room and saw his parents conversing with an unfamiliar man. "Ah! Mar, you're here. Come here my son. Let me introduce you to this man. This is Lord Julius Gale, he will be staying with us for a while. Julius, this is my son, Mar." His father introduced the two of them to each other. Mar said nothing and analysed the man cautiously. He was outrageously handsome but there was something else to him. Mar did not like being clueless, he despised the man already.
Sosuke0549
The first thing Julius smelled when he entered the Vanderbolt home... was blood. Which wasn't a surprise, they were vampires after all and got hunger frequently. When meeting the pure bloods Julius and his butler Alfred bowed respectfully, entering the home. His bags being taken by the servants of the house. "My My.. I was unaware the son of Mark was the spitting image of his mother. How is Your mother? " Mrs. Vanderbolt ask him. "Fairly well, thank you for your interest, and for allowing me to burden you with my presence. " "Nonsense, you father has been a good business partner, the least I could do was taken in his son," Mr. Vanderbolt intervened. "Well it's an honor. " They entered the drawing room and Julius briefly began to chat with the two, his butler remaining at a far distance and silent. His orders were speak.. if spoken to. Julius's attention went to Mar, sensing the boy descending the stairs and approaching the drawing room. He entered, and his parents spoke to him. He was young... much younger then Julius had expected. "Ah! Mar, you're here. Come here my son. Let me introduce you to this man. This is Lord Julius Gale, he will be staying with us for a while. Julius, this is my son, Mar."
The boys father introduced the two of them to each other. "It's a pleasure." He said flatly, taking notice at how the boy was looking at him...The young man said nothing which Julius didn't mind nor care. His attention returned to his parents. "My apologizes, but may I go to my room now. The sun will be up soon and my butler still has not eaten. I'd be happy to continue this conversation another night." "Oh of course, " The parents called for a servant to take him and his butler to their rooms. "Thank you, do sleep well," He glanced at the small boy but said nothing as he left with the Vanderbolt servants. ---------------------------------------------- "What a charming young man," Mrs. Vanderbolt smiled, taking a seat on the couch. "Indeed. Son... you could learn some things from our guest. " His parents began to talk about how great or interesting their new guest was. -------------------------------------------- "M-master.." "Come now.. your hungry are you not?" Alfred licked his lips, his fangs puckering out, as he watched his master take off his shirt, revealing his neck and upper body. He slowly approached him and lightly began to lick his neck. "hm- master..." "Uhh-... ha...nn-" The boys fangs sunk into his skin. He lightly bit his lip not saying a word and gently touched the others head as he drank. "You were starving...weren't You..." He sighed giving his pet another minute before pushing him away. "That's enough... prepare my shower and bed, " "Yes.. my Lord, And thank you.."
Yukio Takamiya
Mar watched as the guest left the room with his butler, he kept silent, eyes following Julius' s every move till the door closed. "What a charming young man,"he heard his honoured mother gush and rolled his eyes. She was just smittened by his good looks, but Mar was certain that he did not lose to Julius in the looks department. "Indeed Son, you could learn some things from our guest," his honoured father added. Even his father? Could he be going gay? Impossible, it must be the good impression left by his business partner Mark Gale. Mar was trying to convince himself that he was better than Julius. All this brought on a headache, it didn't help when his parents threw more praises in Julius's way. Sighing, Mar excused himself and left the drawing room. Half way up the long winding stairs, Mar heard a moan. Curious, he masked his pressence and continued his way up. Mar walked slowly and silently down the hallway towards the door of the guest room. He opened the door slightly and peeked in, what he saw made him chide himself for wasting his own time. When Julius said that his butler hadn't fed, Mar had assumed that the butler would hunt. But it wasn't uncommon for favoured servants to be allowed to consume their master's blood. However, that only applied for aristocrat families, it was absolutely forbidden for a lowly servant to consume a pureblood's blood. Only aristocrats were allowed to consume such pure blood, but even they needed consent to do so. Mar went back to his room, the spilt blood from his meal had already been cleaned. No surprise there, the servants of the Vanderbolt house was expected of high class service. Unlike most nobility, Mar had rejected personal servants, thus which is why he bathed and dressed himself. He got into his sleeping garments and got into bed. Sensing something amiss, Mar frowned and look around. His closet door was opened and he gave a huff of annoyance. "Servester, for once will you stop hiding inside my closet?" Upon hearing its name, a black feline stalk out of the large walk-in closet, head held high as it walked towards its master. Mar gave the panther a smile and patted the space on his bed. The large cat gave him an affectionate purr and jumped, not on the space given to it, but on top of Mar. "Oomph! You got heavier Sar," Mar laughed. It was only with his pet that Mar could forget himself and relax. He wouldn't know what he would do with his life if Servester did not exist. "Time to turn in boy, the sun is rising." The panther purred and squeezed its head into the small space between Mar's neck and the pillow. Mar loved it whenever he did that, he slung his arm across the feline's body and closed his eyes. As Mar fell into the world of dreams where only he and Servester existed, he was completely unaware that he left the guest room door ajar.
Sosuke0549
Julius was dressed for bed. He dried his damp hair with his towel sitting on the fancy, soft silk sheets. His eyes were quickly drawn to his bed room door.. it was...opened? He knew he had closed that door, so someone had opened it. "Alfred, did you open the door? " "No my Lord." Had someone entered his room with out knowing? No... Alfred would of said something. Someone must have peaked into his room, but when? And who? He hadn't sensed anyone come by his room... unless... it was someone who could mask their presence. Mar?... Perhaps I've peaked his interest. He thought to himself. "I see..." Jun slowly climbed into his bed, setting his glasses aside, laying down comfortably. His butler took a seat In a chair, watching the door and occasionally looking to his master, ready to protect him at a moment's notice. He closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep as the sun raised. ---------------------------------------------- Julius sat in the library quietly reading. He had just finished speaking to Mar's parents who appeared to be very charmed by him. Which was a good thing for him. He pushed up his glasses, the candles in the darkly lit room moving, their shadows dancing against the walls. He was assuming that Mar may take the bait, he wanted to lure the young boy in. Get him some what interested in him... that was faze one. Get his attention... Peak his interest... Lure him in. He was young and perhaps, easier to manipulate~
Yukio Takamiya
Servester had fallen asleep after hours of rough playing with Mar. He didn't have the heart to disturb the large cat yet altogethet he was bored. Mar let out a large sigh but held his breath when Servester's ears twitched. Tutoring wouldn't start in another month and there was practically nothing to do at night except hunting. Should he wait for day to go out and browse the streets? Mar thought that it was a perfectly good idea, nevermind the sun, he could wear a large hat to block the sunlight from his eyes. Feeling rather proud that he could come up with such an idea, Mar left his room to the library to pass time. In a few seconds, Mar found himself in front of the library's large wooden doors. The doors were made out of a special high quality wood called Teak, rather heavy for the average human to move. It used to be a plain door made of Teak, but now his parents held it in high regard and treasured it. Why, you ask? It was because Mar had carved the intricate designs of the door all by himself. The door had received praises of fine workmanship from guests that had visited the Vanderbolt estate. Raising his hand to the door, Mar paused. He could hear the crackling of a candle flame, after a while, a page turned. There was someone in there, who could it be? His honoured father was always too busy to make time for reading and his honoured mother was always at social gatherings. Mar's lips formed a grim line, he knew who it was now. He opened the door and entered the library. The light reflected on the walls, revealing the shadow of a person. Mar moved pass the shelves of thick ancient books silently and came to a halt at the study area. "Greetings, Lord Gale. Such a pleasure to see you here on this fine night." If Mar had said that it was a pleasure , it definitely wasn't. His voice was laced with thick sarcasm and he was sure that Julius wouldn't miss it. Mar faked a smile and took a seat on the couch opposite Julius.
Sosuke0549
Julius stopped his reading, his hand in the middle of turning a page when he felt Mar's presence approaching. It seemed he was coming this way... He continued to read until he entered the library. When he first walked in, he moved pass the shelves of thick ancient books silently, coming to a stop at the study area. "Greetings, Lord Gale. Such a pleasure to see you here on this fine night."
Julius simply stared at the boy. He pushed up his glasses, His eyes returning to his book. Mar's voice was laced with thick sarcasm, the young one gave him a faked smile and took a seat across from him. "Indeed, what a surprise it is that you grace me with your presence." His voice returning the sarcasm. "However I must say...you don't sound too pleasured...Perhaps being so alone and being compared to a lower vampire such as myself, ( being better of course) ... has made you slightly bitter?" He turned a page. "Jealously is such a horrid thing... it doesn't suit you." His voice very slick, as he marked and closed his book. Julius knew no one ever spoke to Mar with such a tone. No one ever dared to return his sarcasm, or even insult him! No one...dared.. until now. Julius made it pretty clear that he didn't fear him, which was very odd. All vampires feared the purebloods. Why not him? Why not Mar? " You look a bit surprised, did you not anticipate me being sarcastic ?" He smiled a little.
Yukio Takamiya
Upon hearing Julius's words, Mar felt his killer intent radiating off his body. No one, absolutely no one had ever dared to display such insolence to him. Yet this...this lowly aristocrat dared to mock him. Mar hadn't felt this angered in ages. Sure he admitted that he had a short temper but this situation unlike the others had made him want to kill. The windows of the library shattered under the force of Mar's power. He did not even try to calm his anger. This man whom Mar had despised the moment he stepped on their grounds had crossed the line. As the glass shards of all sizes rose from the ground, Mar gave Julius a dangerous smiled." Surprise? Why would I be surprised? I am simply enraged." Mar's body shook once from his rage and the glass shards flew towards Julius.
Sosuke0549
The windows of the library suddenly shattered , no doubt it was Mar's doing. The boy had such uncontrollable power. He was so young and seemed to let his anger get the better of him. He could sense the boys anger, perhaps he had went a little too far, but even so.. it was necessary to see what triggered him. "My apologizes... I seemed to Have upset you." He said in a blank tone. He watches as glass shards rose from the ground, He was going to attack him. Such a bold move.. " Surprise? Why would I be surprised? I am simply enraged."
"You think?" Mar's body shook with his rage and the glass shards flew towards Julius. With a flick of his finger a ice wall appeared in front of him, the glass hitting it and becoming stuck in the frozen water. After the moment it shattered as well and pieces of ice and glass hit the floor. "Such a temper you have.. you really should control yourself Lord Mar..." He muttered statistically, still sitting perfectly still in his chair. "Master" Alfred appeared next to Julius, electric bolts sparking from his body. His eyes were glaring and full of anger, ready to defend Julius. "Clam down... I am fine, besides... he'd kill you.."
Yukio Takamiya
By the time Alfred had arrived, Mar had calmed down considerably after releasing his rage. However, not only Alfred had been alerted, Servester had been awoken by the din. He came prowling around the library, upon witnessing the mess, the smart feline registered the situation and let out a low growl. "Servester...no!" Mar warned him firmly. Servester flattened his ears and whined making Mar smile at his antics. Servester always managed to make him smile. "Mar? What is going on here?" Dang it! His honoured mother was here. "Has there been a fight? Oh no..my dear Julius, I sincerely apologise for my son's behaviour. Would you be so kind as to forget this incident?" Lady Vanderbolt placed an arm on Mar's shoulder as she spoke."Mar, hurry and apologise to the guest." Mar sometimes wonder why his honoured mother was so dramatic. "Hmph! He started it." Mar stated childishly and left with his beloved panther, leaving his honoured mother to continue sucking up to that two-faced pompous douche. Sosuke0549
He's calmed down.. hmm..it seems he calms down considerably after releasing his anger... such a child.. Julius thought to himself as he observed the young male. A large panther came prowling into the library, letting out a low growl. A pet? ... interesting. "Servester...no!"
Mar warned the kitten firmly. Servester flattened his ears and whined making Mar smile. That was the first time Julius saw him smile. So he was attached to animal, the young pure blood had a weakness. "Mar? What is going on here?"
Julius stood as Mar's honoured mother entered the room. He bowed humbly. " Lady Vanderbolt " "Has there been a fight? Oh no..my dear Julius, I sincerely apologise for my son's behaviour. Would you be so kind as to forget this incident?"
"My father did not alert me on How...unstable your young Mar is. Perhaps I should leave." The pure blood placed an arm on Mar's shoulder, trying to make her son apologize. "Mar, hurry and apologise to the guest."
"Hmph! He started it."
Mar stated childishly and left with his beloved panther. Julius watched the two leave before looking to the women. "I accept your apology, And I apologize for the mess.. it seems your son and ' I have gotten off on the wrong foot'... as the humans would say." He pushed up his glasses with a sigh. Yukio Takamiya
Mar slammed the door of his room careful not to break it. Jumping onto his large bed, Mar buried his face into the sheets and screamed into it, but even that was not enough to vent his frustrations. Servester observed his master's distress and jumped onto the bed beside Mar. Rubbing his head on Mar's arm, he attempted to comfort the boy. Mar flipped over to face Servester, smiling, he switched from the pillow to hugging the panther and buried his face into Servester's soft pelt. "Those two are just so dramatic and fake, acting coil with each other. Don't you think so Sar?" Mar complained and Servester purred in response. "Its the most annoying when they do it in front of me. Why don't they do the theatre a favour and offer their services for free." Mar laughed at the image of his honoured mother and Julius doing a play on stage together. Servester gave another purr, pleased that his master had cheered up. Feeling better, Mar got up from the bed and stretched, groaning when his bones popped painfully. He couldn't be getting old could he, that was just impossible. Just then, his tummy made a small rumble. Mar's lips moved slowly into a grin, time to hunt. Sosuke0549
Julius left the library after speaking with Mar's mother for quite a long time. He asked about the pure bloods past.. his favorite things... and his attachment to that panther. Every little detail about the other.. was necessary. The aristocrat stepped into the living room where he came across a piano. His fingers grazed the keys. "It's covered in dust" He muttered to himself, it seemed no one played it in a very long time. He sighed, Glancing around the room. There was no one to ask if he could play... "Perhaps one song..." He pushed up his glasses and took a seat, his butler appeared behind him and quickly whipped the dust off the instrument so he could play with out getting his fingers dirty. He nodded to Alfrd and slowly began playing a beautiful song.. one no one has ever played before. Music filled the room, echoing off walls. Julius allowed a small smile to appear on his face, His purple hair falling in his eyes as he closed them and played, letting his fingers dance across the keys. Yukio Takamiya
Mar licked his lips and pat his tummy in satisfaction. That human had a unique taste, perhaps too many tragedies in his life. As Mar prepared to leap onto a lamp post, sensed someone coming his way. Not long later, he heard footsteps and a man came into view. He was wearing dark clothes, his face too was half covered with a black scarf. However, Mar was more interested in the crossbow attached to his left arm. He was a vampire hunter? Mar did not have a good impression of vampire hunters. When he was younger, he had once been captured by them and tortured for information. They didn't care if he was still a child, as long as he was a vampire he had to die. Mar at that time had been frightened but managed to keep his mouth shut. The evidence of the tortures had healed in a short time, but the phantom memory of the pain in that torture chamber remained. "Do you think you could kill me?" Mar asked. Vampire hunters couldn't differentiate the difference between the different types of vampires. This one was the same, see a vampire, kill it. The vampire hunter said nothing. Instead, he raised his left arm and pointed his crossbow at Mar. The arrow flew, Mar dodged. Moving at inhuman speed, he appeared behind the hunter. But the hunter had fast reflexes and jumped away immediately. Mar shot forward, before the hunter could do anything, Mar had a palm touching his chest. The man flew backwards and hit a brick wall with great force, creating a crack. He crumpled to the ground and curled up in pain. Mar snorted, he was a novice. No experienced hunter would show weakness like that, not to anyone. Mar walked towards the hunter and stopped in front of him. The man looked up at him in fear and Mar smirked. His eyes glowed a bright red and the man's head was missing the next moment. The blood that flowed stank and Mar 's nose twitched. The hunter led a comfortable and pampered life, that was just gross. When Mar returned to the mansion, the first thing he heard was music. The music was beautiful and Mar couldn't help but follow it. Although he could play, he had always appreciated good music. When he reached the music room, he saw Julius playing the piano forte. He had his eyes closed, a small and for once, genuine smile graced his lips. Alfred stood by his master's side listening to the gentle tune, Mar just stood by the doorway, listening until the music stopped.
Sosuke0549
Julius opened his eyes, his smile disappearing when he felt Mar's presence and smelt blood. He stopped playing, glancing back at the boy who was leaning in the door way. "Hunting... is forbidden you know.." He stood, sliding his hands into his pockets. "... I assume your parents haven't discovered your late night snacking?...How many humans Have you killed..." He glared at the boy. Mar didn't realize the damage he was causing. Vampire hunters were only allowed to kill low level vampires.. level E's However if they witnessed another vampire breaking there treaty and killing incident humans.. they were allowed to engage them.. even imprisoned. them. Any other vampire is killed, if a pure blood is caught breaking the rules, They are imprisoned. The treaty was established only 8 eight years ago,. And was badly hanging on by a thread. They needed to main rain peace...and Mar could be the one thing that tipped the scale. "Has no one educated you on the vampire laws or about the hunters?!" Julius's eyes shined a pissed off red. Yukio Takamiya
Treaty? Mar had never heard of it. He did not realise the problem he had created. But guilty as he may be, Mar was not about to show Julius his obedient side. Mar shrugged nonchalantly,"I never pay attention in lessons. The govenors teach things that I knew long ago. How would I know when they decide to teach me something useful." Mar had a sudden thought. The treaty had been established eight years ago? He was captured at the age of eight, just one year after the establishment. "Besides, they were the one who broke the treaty first,"Mar added softly. His parents were away during the time of his capture. They only returned two days after he escaped his prison. Mar's wounds had healed by then, and he never spoke a word of his capture to them. Sosuke0549
The pure blood shrugged his shoulders. Appearing to not care at all. "I never pay attention in lessons. The govenors teach things that I knew long ago. How would I know when they decide to teach me something useful...Besides, they were the one who broke the treaty first,"
Julius suddenly struck Mar across the face, silencing him. No other vampire had ever hit him! "I apologize for striking You however ... you are being too reckless. You are suppose to grow up and lead our race, yet here you are acting as if you do not care about their demise. After decades of fighting And blood shed on both sides, we finally made peace with the humans. Our people are finally calming down..and yet your ignorance may have just sparked another war. If you are feeding off of humans, others will follow you! You are not fit to carry that blood in your vains, you are still Just a child. " He hissed in a low tone. Julius had no knowledge of the other boys tragic past however he realized he needed to teach him a few things... he was sheltered and treated like a baby for most of his life. "Who is tutoring you. "
Yukio Takamiya
Mar was shocked about the slap but he wasn't about to fight back. He knew that killing humans was wrong now that he was told about the treaty. Still, he found it a bit unfair that the humans weren't punished for breaking the treaty first. Hell, he only found out about it now and he was the one being lectured, even getting slapped. Mar gave Julius a cold glare,"if you want to lecture me a about keeping our side of the treaty, so be it. But tell the humans to stick to the rules too if they want me to do the same. They don't give a damn about the treaty! Hell, the first thing that hunter did was point his weapon at me after a mere glance. Is that honouring the treaty? Are you saying that the humans are allowed to torture and kill us while we are not? Is that what this treaty is about?" Mar was breathing heavily by now. His tears started to fall and his voice broke," you can't expect me to forget the pain I went through. I did nothing to deserve what they did to me." Mar wiped away his tears fiercely and went back to his room.
Sosuke0549
The pure blood glared at him. "if you want to lecture me a about keeping our side of the treaty, so be it. He was surprised to see Mar... crying? His voice breaking. " you can't expect me to forget the pain I went through. I did nothing to deserve what they did to me."
He said nothing as he slipped his hands in his pockets watching the young one wipe his tears away and run, back to his room. Once he was gone, he looked over at his servant Alfred. "Alfred... look into this. Report to me as soon as you find anything...And if he did kill a hunter...take care of him.. "As you wish.. master" And he disappeared leaving Julius alone. He left himself and went straight to his own room. Waiting to see what Alfred would find. Yukio Takamiya
Hot water beat down on Mar's pale and petite frame. Mar took a deep breath wishing so badly that water had the ability to wash away his problems. Every moment of that fateful night had been ingrained into his memory. Just for fun, he had sneaked out of the house without the servant's knowledge. As a child, he wasn't allowed to go out, just having those few moments of fresh air made him happy. He ran around the dark town enjoying the night's air and patting stray cats. But alas, he had bumped into a group of hunters. Upon seeing his red eyes, they manhandled him roughly and abducted him. Mar who had not learnt how to use his powers was helpless. Thus, at the age of eight, Mar had experienced the pain of having his nails pulled out. He had been dragged out of the cell into the opening where the sun was at its hottest. Third degree sunburns had the worst pain. The hunters stripped him and had him whipped everyday. Interrogations were held for information on the vampire's weakness. Mar suspected that they were planning a raid on the vampire community. When he made it clear that he wouldn't answer their questions, the hunters stopped asking. Instead, he was tortured everyday and left to heal a little at night only to be tortured again the next day. This happened for two weeks until Mar escaped. When Mar came back wounded, the servants moved like robots to treat his wounds. After that, every night he would have nightmares about the torture. No one comforted him when he woke up in fear. The servants did not inform his parents of his missing episode when they returned two days later, so Mar thought that it was better if they didn't know. The nightmares continued for a month but even his parents did not come when he screamed himself awake. Recalling all this made another tear escape his eye. Mar got dressed and left the bathroom before getting into the bed where Servester had already fallen asleep. That night, the very same nightmare came back for the first time in years. Mar screamed in pain as the hunters laughed, mocked and humiliated him. The heat of the sun was too much to bear. The sight of his wounded skin made him gag. He wanted out of this torture chamber. The whip cracked and Mar screamed himself awake. His body shook in fear, tears streaming down his cheeks. He hated being this weak, putting on a stubborn front in front of people to hide his weakness. Mar wanted to end this farce, but he was afraid of getting hurt again. When would someone save him from this endless nightmare?
Sosuke0549
Jun had felt Mar's sadness. His fear... His strong presence. He found it very odd that none of his servants or even parents came to check on him. He stood in the corner of Mar's room watching him toss and turn. A nightmare? But of what? The small boy suddenly awoke, his body shaking and tears streaming down his cheeks. He was still so pure.. so weak to the darkness of the vampire world. Prey... He crossed his arms saying in his corner, leaning against the wall. "..A bad dream? " He spoke, slowly stepping out of the darkness and approaching the bed. "I haven't been here for long, however... feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... You put on this stubborn front to hide your true self, Just like any other young child.. you are afraid...I'm not quite sure of what yet...but you are.." He stopped in front of the other, and reached out to him and lightly whipped his tears away. "Forgive Me for being so bold.....Are you alright...Lord Mar." If Mar felt like he had someone he could trust.. he'd stay close to him. He'd want His attention.. his affection...His loyalty. And that's exactly What he wanted. Yukio Takamiya
When pale hands wiped away his tears, Mar jerked back in shock. Julius...when had he arrived? Mar hurriedly slapped Julius' s hands away. "Don't pretend to know me, I've been like this all my life,"Mar said coldly. He couldn't let Julius know how weak he was. If he could hide it from his parents for so long, he could do the same for this outsider. The hunters had left a permanent scar on his dignity and courage, he could never again go back to how he was without triggering the fear. If it hadn't been for Julius, the nightmares would never have returned. But Mar couldn't help but think... For so long, no one had ever comforted him from his nightmares. He had wished so badly for someone to be there when he woke up. Not even his parents had answered his prayers, Julius was the first. Perhaps the older man wasn't so bad after all. "Its all your fault," Mar finally said after his tears stopped. "You were the one who made the nightmares come back. I tried so hard to not think about it, to forget about it. But you made me remembet, that's why the nightmares returned. Therefore, you're the one to blame,"he continued solemnly.
Sosuke0549
Mar jerked away when he tried to wipe away his tears and quickly slapped his hand. So much for comforting him.. "Don't pretend to know me, I've been like this all my life,"
Mar said coldly. What had him so frightened, Julius was now extremely curious. The boy was surprisingly weak... he could use this to his advantage~ "My apologizes, Perhaps I shouldn't have come..." "Its all your fault, You were the one who made the nightmares come back. I tried so hard to not think about it, to forget about it. But you made me remembet, that's why the nightmares returned. Therefore, you're the one to blame,"
Julius looked down at the other calmly. He chuckled a little before sighing. "Young Lord..I don't control what goes on in your head.. but if you'd like someone to blame, rather than yourself, then by all means.. you can blame me" He shook his head, turning his back to him. "Goodnight...
Yukio Takamiya
The door closed and Mar continued to stare at his sheets. He didn't dare go back to sleep in fear that the nightmares would return. Mar turned towards the thick curtains where a thin line of sunlight shone through. Pushing off the sheets, Mar got off the bed and walked towards the curtains. he stood in front of the curtains right beside that line of light and stared at the light dazedly, almost as if he was being hypnotised by the light. Mar raised his hand tentatively and slowly placed it in the path of the light. he watched the shadow that he had never been able to make form on the marble floor. It was only when the pain became unbearable did he quickly retract his hand. The pain was the same as that time, frightening. How he longed to be able to step into the sun like humans, unharmed by the light and heat. Mar had wished several times to be born human. They didn't have to live long and get bored of living. Their lives were so sweetly short, they could enjoy it briefly and die after that. How he envied them. Mar walked back into the darker shadows of his room and looked around. Where was Servester when Mar needed him. He felt so incredibly lonely, he wanted his pet. Mar got back under the covers and closed his eyes. Sleep came to him easier this time, fortunately, it was a dreamless one this time. Night fell and Mar left the confines of his room. A girl was waiting outside his room but feeling not very hungry, he dismissed her and headed towards the garden.
Sosuke0549
"Master.." Alfred spoke up, drawing Julius's attention. The loyal butler jestered over to the human girl that came into his bed room. He looked at her. She had blond hair and green eyes and was well taken care of. "What's your name.." "Lilly..my Lord." "I see...well Lilly.. I assure you.. I won't kill you.." In a second he was behind her. He wrapped a arm around her small frame, and the other gripping her hair and pulling on it, forcing her head back, her neck visible. She had such delicate skin. His tongue trailed along her soft skin. Lapping at her neck before suddenly sinking his fangs into her. She winced, panting, clearing getting off from the attention. He took a few swallows of her blood before he stopped letting her go. Her eyes widened. She wanted more. "M-more! Please take more! " "Silence...Humans like you disgust me... if your so horny. Go on the streets and sell your body like the shut you truly are," He smiled at her. "Now.. if you'd please remove yourself from my room." The young girl was shocked. Tears in her eyes as she ran out. ---------------------------------------------- Later That night, There was a a knock on the Vanderbolt door. Julius was in the living room, reading as usual. But he stopped when he discovered who was at the door. A family servant opened the door and glared at the four hunters in disgust. "Hunters..What do you w--" Julius stepped in, silencing him. "These are guests." He muttered, Looking to the four males, and one of them seemed to relax a little. "Julius... what are you doing here." "Visiting, I could ask you the same question Kaname." He looked back at the butler. "Please retrieve Mr.and Mrs. Vanderbolt, He looked back to the men. "Please come in." He opened the door for them and showed them to the living room. The hunters didn't trust him and had their hands on their weapons, except for Kaname. He seemed to not be to on edge. "I didn't expect you to be here.." "I'm full of surprises Kaname..Why are you all here?" Kaname glanced at his friends before looking at the aristocrat.
