Prologue

There's a hidden story told by a few storytellers who know about it.

Once upon a time somewhere far in the land of Korea there lived a boy by the name of Chi-won. He was born out of wedlock to a mother working as a prostitute at the town's hidden brothel. Despite Chi-won mother's status, she adored her son and considered quitting her job to move to another town to start a new life. His mother eventually saved up enough money and escaped into the night with her son to a relatively small village named Jangho. This was where Chi-won grew up as he eventually became an apprentice to a fisherman. His mother would take the fish and sell it at the village market. This fairy tale comes to a tragic ending while Chi-won was away at sea catching fish on the boat, there was a massacre in the town market. Numerous lives were lost to the army men who were instructed to slaughter anyone as a consequence of the village not paying their tribute to the king.

Chi-won never saw his mother again that evening and ventured around the village looking for her. An older woman who worked close to where his mother was told him the horror of what had happened. His mother was taken away by the army men along with most of the younger women working at the market. Chi-won attempted to find his mother however, he never found her only losing himself further and further into the woods.

The story would end there however Chi-won, with his tragic luck, ended up meeting what he thought was an ordinary fox. The fox talked to him in human tongue which shocked Chi-won. However, this was no ordinary fox for it was the gumiho Jae-sook, a nine-tailed fox demon, who sensed the younger boy's despair. The demon fox asked Chi-won why he looked so upset and Chi-won responded that his mother was captured by the army men and he wanted to look for her. The gumiho being a tricky creature decided to ask Chi-won if he would do anything to find his mother. The foolish boy nodded his head and the demon fox pulled out a scroll with a brush dipped with ink. Jae-sook asked the boy to sign his name and the boy was embarrassed not knowing how to write his name. Chi-won however did initial what he thought was his signature into the scroll and Jae-sook took a needle and pricked his thumb officially creating a blood oath. Chi-won was unaware of what he had done and before he knew it the gumiho granted him his first wish. He had wished to see his mother and the demon fox transported him to where she was at. She was being held captive along with the other women from the village in what was a wooden cage. Chi-won ran over to his mother overjoyed that she was not dead however his mother ushered him to leave. He did not and was knocked out cold by a soldier with a rock.

Chi-won awoken when a soldier poured urine on his face. He was frightened and scared the soldier laughed wickedly as he poked the young boy with his sheath sword. The soldier continued to tease Chi-won asking how he got into a military base and why he was here. Chi-won told him that his mother even providing her name and the soldier ended up laughing in his face. Mustering up enough courage Chi-won fought back however, he was thrown to the ground by the soldier this time unsheathing his sword and pointing it at him. The soldier told Chi-won that his mother was servicing all the men in the military base along with the rest of the women as a consequence for the village not paying a tribute to the king. Chi-won was held captive there for a week only given half a bowl of rice porridge and he had to drink his urine.

Jae-sook visited Chi-won in his dreams reminding him that he had eight wishes left. Chi-won completed another blood oath and wished for him and his mother to be set free. Chi-won woke up the next day to the same soldier this time with another who brought his mother. The young boy was unaware until they threw her corpse that she was dead. Her eyes were closed and her skin was pale. Chi-won enraged charged at the soldiers with his fists trying to swing and kick at them. This was all of their fault that his mother was dead, despite his effort the soldiers threw him on the ground before kicking him endlessly. They beat him repetitively with their weapons and he could feel a few of their spears jabbing him. This torture went on until he passed out from exhaustion.

Chi-won was once again visited by Jae-sook who he ran to crying. His wish had not come true. The demon fox chuckled and told the younger boy to be careful what comes out of his mouth. Chi-won did not understand and this time wished for his mother to be alive. The demon fox refused the wish and offered a suggestion of killing the soldiers. Chi-won nodded his head, initialed the scroll, and pricked his finger with blood before making another blood oath. The soldiers never appeared again to his surprise. However it sounded like there were people fighting and the young boy could hear their weapons clashing. Chi-won was eventually saved by the rebellion army who freed him and took him in. Eventually he was trained to become a soldier when he was fourteen years old. Chi-won never forgot about his mother or the king's army, using both of those as part of his vengeance plan he worked harder and harder.

Eventually Chi-won became a powerful warlord who successfully executed and crushed the king's army. He worked alongside the new king who was had rescued him and all was fair until he was visited by Jae-sook. Up until now he had thought that Jae-sook was an imaginary figure who would only visit him in his dreams when he was a child. Jae-sook chuckled darkly and reminded him of his remaining wishes before disappearing into the night.

The king eventually died in his sleep due to what the court's physician determined was a heart attack. His younger son was in line for the throne however, Chi-won did not believe a ten year old child should take such a responsibility. He offered to become the next king however the court denied him believing that the king's son should be the next heir to the throne. There were arguments and this split up the court. There were some of the soldiers who believed that Chi-won should be the next king due to his experience and age. There was the court who stayed loyal to the king.

Chi-won made his fourth wish to Jae-sook who reminded him to prick his thumb and and initialed the scroll. He did and became the new king. However, due to his inexperience and lack of knowledge of how to run the kingdom he was stressed. He had bargain too much and now everything was too much for him to handle. Jae-sook showed for the last time in his dream and Chi-won wished for someone else to take over the thrown. The demon fox was not happy hearing that Chi-won did not want to take over the thrown and asked him to wish for something else. When the man did not want to Jae-sook ended up eating his heart then possessing his body.

For over a century Jae-sook took over Chi-won's body and used it to rule as a powerful corrupted warlord king. He would burn down any villages who opposed him and crushed any rebellious armies. Every kingdom in Korea feared him, and many were brain washed into thinking that he was a great leader for the kingdom.

Eventually the deities in heaven witnessed the chaos that has happened and sent down their angels in hopes to stop the evil king. However, Jae-sook was too powerful being one of the oldest gumiho. He crushed down their angels and possessed an army to exterminate the rest. The deities had no choice but to contact the deity of the underworld to help them end the reign of Jae-sook. The deity was not strong enough to fight Jae-sook alone and fled away when his life was at cost.

The deity of the underworld decided that he needed the numbers on his side. He selected and trained over twenty five humans and blessed them with the eye to see the supernatural. Without the eye the humans would not be able to stop Jae-sook. There was a full blown war as the deities all came to earth along with their warrior angels and helped the deity of the underworld and his soldiers to fight against Jae-sook.

The demon fox was out numbered and his soldiers were decimated in a matter of time. He surrendered and was locked away in a seal by the deity of the underworld along with his five discipline.

However before Jae-sook was locked away, he vowed to return one day and wreck chaos in the world.

There is another side to the story, one which no one knows. This happened on Jae-sook's side. Jae-sook had an assistant, or so he calls that person. That person was called Han Hyun-ra, a strong psychic that did Jae-sook's bidding. But the only reason why Jae-sook could keep him by his side was through blackmail. Hyun-ra's poor little sister had been taken from the family since birth and hidden from them. To ensure the safety of his family, Hyun-ra had no choice.

Whatever Jae-sook ordered, Hyun-ra did it without question. If he was told to spy, he did a good job. Astral projection did the job efficiently and effortlessly leaving no trace when it comes to espionage. Psychokinesis was a powerful ability, if one so wishes, he could annihilate a whole city with a mere thought. Jae-sook planned to use Hyun-ra when the right time came.

The subordinates of Jae-sook respected Hyun-ra and treated him like one of their own. Hyun-ra would play along accordingly. Jae-sook did not trust anyone, but gaining the trust of his subordinates would be beneficial.

"When will you stop this madness?" Hyun-ra asked Jae-sook after the death of Chi-won.

"Madness? How could you say that, my dear Hyun-ra? I am merely doing this world a favour by eliminating those who defy me. Their existence is unnecessary. Even you won't be an exception if you choose to defy me. But i might spare your life when you finally cry and beg for it. Haha."Jae-sook had replied with a smirk and Chi-won's blood dripping down his chin.

--------------------------------------------

"You will kill the leader of the rebel army tonight," Jae-sook gave Hyun-ra another order as usual. But this was the first time he was asked to kill, Hyun-ra did not comply.

His refusal angered Jae-sook, " you did not have any problems with your tasks up till now. Why, no guts to kill a person?" Jae-sook mocked.

"Guts? Perhaps that may be so. The eventual destruction of this world does not concern me. Apart from the safety of my family, that is the only reason why you have my aid in your goals." Hyun-ra replied.

"Hmph! Seeing as I still have a use for you, I shall not end your life yet. But my dear Hyun-ra, you've known me since you were a little kid. I am sure that by now you are aware that I always have a solution to get what I want," after speaking, Jae-sook left.

The next morning, Hyun-ra found his parents in the middle of their cell, murdered in cold blood. He took it all in and held it close, afraid that his rage would escape. He wanted it to build up even as he completed the task previously assigned. He would let that rage fill up to the brim as he aided Jae-sook in his reign and plotted his revenge.

--------------------------------------------

As time flew by, Jae-sook made a terrible mistake. Despite being a demon with no feelings and a cruel nature, he fell in love with Hyun-ra. Hyun-ra took advantage of the demon's feelings and made Jae-sook trust him. He allowed Jae-sook to think that he felt the same and even admitted it with his own lips. From then on, the orders stopped and he was pampered. But the cruelty in Korea continued, Hyun-ra's anger could never subside.

--------------------------------------------

When the deities attacked, Jae-sook fought valiantly even as his soldiers fell. With an arm protectively around Hyun-ra and the other occupied with combat, Jae-sook fought to protect his love. Near the end of the battle, only Jae-sook, Hyun-ra and the demon's five disciples remained. Jae-sook still had his arm wrapped around Hyun-ra's waist, his eyes glared unwavering at the opponents before them. Deciding that the battle would never end without Jae-sook giving in, Hyun-ra took matters into his own hands. He broke out of Jae-sook's hold and stabbed the demon's abdomen with his dagger.

"H-Hyun-ra? Why?" Jae-sook asked in shock and staggered. The wound couldn't kill him but he was weakened. The deities took advantage of that and captured him.

"Revenge. You-" before Hyun-ra could finish, pain blinded his vision. One of the disciples managed to shoot him before he was captured. Hyun-ra fell to the ground and his blood flowed.

Jae-sook was hurt, the sight of Hyun-ra hurt him even more. He vowed there and then never to love another human even after his eventual death.

When Jae-sook spat at the deities and vowed to return and wreck chaos, Hyun-ra listened. At that moment right before his death, he vowed that he would stop Jae-sook, at all costs. He fell into eternal sleep after that.

Tiron von Freusch sighed as he recalled his past life. Now, it was time again...

Modern Time

"Taxi driver!" Sang-Ook screams loudly waving both of his hands up and down, frantically, trying to get the cab driver's attention.

After a few attempts, he successfully flags down a cab driver. He slips into the back seat and instructs the driver to take him to The Sip of Heaven Host Club six miles away straight ahead then a right turn.

Sang-Ook looks at the time glowing on his cellphone preparing himself mentally for the scolding he would definitely receive from his uncle for being late once again. This was definitely the second time this week he has been late and the other times he barely made it on time. He mumbles to himself how he had forgotten about his shift at the host club. Sang-Ook slaps his forehead gently, several times, with the palm of his hand scolding himself. Usually he was never this forgetful however he was adjusting to living in the city and finally being an independent adult. If it was not for his uncle's late text message reminding him to check in with him at the bar, he would have forgotten to work today which would earn him a scolding from not only his uncle but his parents. Neither he was looking forward to considering he had a lot of stuff he had to deal with.

The cab halts and he slips a few bills of won (Korean Currency) into the driver's hand including a generous tip before rushing into the host club. He noticed that there was no one at the host club yet and checked the time on his cell phone. It read 5:30 pm. There were a cornucopia of excuses he could choose from, he just needed to think of one that would describe why he was half an hour late to his shift which was the latest he had been so far. Before he could think he heard someone clear their throat. Sang-Ook looked over to his uncle who was staring at the news paper on the counter in front of him. It was quite odd how his uncle did not react his tardiness but in a few seconds he was wrong.

Sang-Ook's uncle, Jae, immediately glared at him with his dark brown eyes before scrunching up a newspaper he was reading into a ball and throwing it straight at Sang-Ook's chest. The young adult male caught it gracefully before tossing it back to his uncle who caught it and threw it right back his head. Sang-Ook dodged it successfully before picking it up before tossing it into a nearby trashcan near the register.

"Uncle Jae, it is bad to litter in your own club," Sang-Ook says jokingly with a sheepish smile on his face.

His uncle shook his head momentarily before proceeding to shout at him, "You are lucky for two reasons. One... there are no customers here yet. Two if you were not my favorite nephew, I would have fired you a long time ago!"

"Aw, I did not know that I was-" the young nephew begins to say only to be interrupted with the uncle slamming his fist on the wooden counter.

"Quit the soft shit kid. Come over here so I can teach you how to work the cash register!" Jae shouts shaking his head.

Sang-Ook bowed his head apologizing to uncle before walking over towards the other side of the counter. His uncle taught him how to work the fancy cash register. At first he was confused at how to even use it but after a few scenarios where his uncle pretended to be a patron, he successfully learned how to use it. He also learned how to use the credit card machine which was much easier than the register. After what took like forever but was really an hour, he was sent to the lounge area to change out of his current outfit into the waiter's uniform which consisted of black pants, black dress shoes, and a white polo with a small tea cup as the club's logo. Most of the other waiters were relaxing in the lounge watching whatever was on the large plasma television or drinking some light beverages. He was greeted with a few "hey!" and head nods and he responded with a polite bow. He barely made any small talk with any of the staff mainly because he rarely knew them. He had only worked here for less than a month and as far as he knew it, they were full time and he was part time. They had been working for his uncle for more than two years each.

Jae came into the lounge at 7:00 pm and ushered all of them out. Although Sang-Ook worked as a waiter prior to The Sip of Heaven, he was still not accustomed to the upscale club's patrons. He had forgotten this was a host club so nearly serving that food was not enough. He was forced into conversation with whoever decided to choose him that night. Most of the time they were very touchy with him and he felt slightly uncomfortable. He usually excused himself when he started to feel a hand dangerously lingering up and down his thigh. Usually that worked however he still was not used to this treatment. His uncle told him that there were bouncers right around the corner and there was. Each of the men were suited up walking up and down making sure that the patrons were being cooperative. His tips usually totaled to at least more than fifty dollars each night. It was definitely a good part time job.

His shift ended up speeding by quickly and before he knew it the club was closing up at 10 pm. He volunteered to help sweep and mop the floor which earned him a few pat on the back and "thank you's". While he was mopping up the floor his uncle suddenly appeared with a bottle of vodka in his right hand and a pack of cigarettes in his left hand.

"You free tonight or do you have to go on a mission?" Jae asks curiously sitting down on the wooden chair.

"Give me one second. Let me check my cellphone! I forgot to do that," Sang-Ook replies as he finishes mopping the floor and drying it with the spare mop. He finishes and pulls out his cellphone staring at three text messages on his screen from the leader of his unit.

We have a mission tonight at eleven - Kris

Meet at the old cemetery near the Blossom Tea House

There will be a taxi waiting for you outside the host club you work at. Be ready.

He glances through his emails noting that he had a paper due next week by one of his professor. There were also text messages from his parents asking him how he was doing which he texted right away. He stared at the three text messages from Kris, his leader, before looking over to his uncle.

"Uncle Jae, I can not drink with you tonight. Got a mission to do," Sang-Ook says with a sigh, "I am going to change real quick," he says as he walks to the lounge area and quickly dresses up. He strips off his work clothes and slips on what had on earlier. A pair of dark blue jeans, his dessert boots, a pink and light blue flannel, and his maroon winter vest. He finishes buckling his pants with his dark brown belt before returning to his uncle whose face was clearly pink.

"Aish! Uncle Jae. You need to be careful. You need to be able to walk home!" Sang-Ook nags looking at his uncle whose eyes were slowly closing.

"Do not worry, I am just a little sleepy," Jae says with a small yawn. Sang-Ook walks over closer to his uncle trying to help him up, but his uncle's weight outweigh him and he ended up causing his uncle's head to hit the table gently.

"Sorry! Do you want me to take you home? Kris sent a cab to come pick me up, but I am sure the cab driver can drive you home," Sang Ook says with a concern look on his face.

Jae pats Sang-Ook's head before instructing him to leave and he would just sleep at the host club tonight. The young adult obliged and locked the door before slipping into the cab.

---

The drive was relatively short, less than half an hour. The cemetery had countless rows of gravestones that showcased the death of the individuals. There was something unusual about this cemetery that Sang-Ook was not able to pick up on. Overall the cemetary was shrouded with darkness and bad energy that Sang-Ook could pick up on. If it was not for the moonlight, he would not have been able to find where the members of his unit was.

Coco and Kris were waiting patiently in front of a large double gate. There were two large statues of two lions on the side. Kris and Coco were passing the cigarette back and forth before Sang-Ook greeted them with a faint smile. Coco ran over to hug him wrapping her arms and Sang-Ook could smell the expensive perfume she had on and Kris ruffled his head.

"Why is it just us three?" Sang-Ook asks looking around his environment cautiously.

"You have the ability to communicate to the dead temporarily and so I decided we do not need a lot of people. Coco and I will protect you," Kris explains briefly. The older male lets out a cough before patting his chest in pain. Coco rushes over to pat his back along with Sang-Ook. Kris proceeds to explain some more, "This should be a simple mission. We are here to try to get some information from my grandfather,".

"What exactly are we trying to find out?" Sang-Ook asks curiously a little confused at the "so-called mission". What type of mission was this? Why was it Kris' grandfather specifically?

"There has been someone... or something massacring families who are associated with Sons of Hades" Coco explains as she puffs a cloud of smoke gracefully before throwing the cigarette to the ground and crushing it with her heels. She looks over at Sang-Ook before casually explaining, "Usually we would let bounty hunters exterminate them however the director has asked for us to take this case considering it involves us,".

"How long has this been going on for?" Sang-Ook asks.

"Two months ago. There was a total of forty-five body counts according to Unit K-120 during their investigation. Whoever the killer is... this person or thing must have done their research because they have slaughtered every single member who is alive in that family to the point where there is no family tree," Kris explains.

"Whoever the killer is, they are coming for each one of our families including us. So we need to get some information from my grandfather," Kris says.

"Why your grandfather?" Sang-Ook asks scratching his head earning him another slap on the head from Coco.

"Stop asking questions and let's do this! It is late and I need my beauty sleep ah," Coco says with a frustrated sigh.

"I do not know but the director of the Sons of Hades has requested us to do so," Kris says as he opens the gate and walks into what appears to be a garden with a tomb stone in the middle of it.

Sang-Ook clears his throat and breaks a flower from the stem of one of the garden's flowers and places it on top of the tomb stone. He kneels down in front of the tomb stone with both of his hands on the flower. The young adult envisions the lower half of his body as roots extending to the casket of the grandfather. This was not usually how he communicated with the dead however he did not have the supplies with him. He could feel the dark energy that surrounded that casket and the roots eventually broke through the casket. He continued to focus on waking Kris' grandfather. Eventually he entered his alter state of trance where he was able to leave his body and he was now in what people would deem the ghost world. It was simply black and white. It was slightly more foggy and the moon was blood red.

Kris' grandfather sat in front of his tomb meditating with his back completely straight and his eyes close. Both of his hands were placed in the middle on top of each other. Sang-Ook walked over slowly and tapped the old man on the shoulder to get his attention. Time was running out as he could feel himself start to get light headed.

"Hello, I am-" Sang-Ook bows his head introducing himself however he was stopped when Kris' grandfather held up his hand.

"I know who you are Sang-Ook Min. I know why you are here however I am not able to give you the answer you want," Kris' grandfather said calmly.

"Please... there have been so many deaths. Can you tell us anything that could help us with the investigation of the killer?" Sang-Ook begged.

"Jae-Sook is coming back. He will wreck havoc and seek vengeance on the families who follow the deity of the underworld," the grandfather said not opening his eyes.

"The nine-tailed demon fox? What does a mythical creature have to do with the massacre?" Sang-Ook asked clearly confused. This was a folk lore that was told to children by their grandparents before they went to bed. What does this have to do with the investigation? What was Kris trying to get him to do? "How do we stop him?" San asks frustrated feeling his time in the ghost world fading away.

"He will come and be your savior-" the grandfather spoke however Sang-Ook felt a pain in his chest and he closed his eyes. He opened them to find himself back in the human world, what one would consider reality, and he could feel the pain his head. Sang-Ook drops the flower and props himself up trying to maintain balance. He turns around and looks in horror to see Coco's body. He rushes over to check her pulse only to find none. Sang-Ook attempts CPR however it proves to be ineffective.

Suddenly a pale woman appears in front of him. He immediately reaches for his dagger and points it at her daring her to attack. The woman bares her fangs and lunges forward however her head is decapitated. Blood squirts on Sang-Ook's face.

Kris shows up with a bloody katana and stares at Sang-Ook with a frown before wiping the blood on his shirt.

"You alright?" Kris asks in his husky voice.

"Yeah... what happened?" Sang-Ook asked with a frown staring at Coco's corpse in front of her noticing claw marks and bite marks on her neck and both of her arms.

"While you were in the ghost world... we were attacked by a band of rogue vampires. They ambushed us and they were close to killing you. I protected you over... Coco," Kris says with a sigh before shaking his head. He walks over to close Coco's eyes before motioning Sang-Ook to follow him.

"Where are we going?" Sang-Ook asks as he attempts to carry Coco.

"Leave her... the clean up unit will come and fetch her. We need to leave now in case of danger. There's a cab waiting," Kris says calmly which Sang-Ook never really knew how.

"We can't-" Sang-Ook begins to protest however Kris grabs his arm.

"It is an order from your unit's captain. Lets go," Kris orders and yanks him until they reach the cab.

---

Sang-Ook could not sleep the entire night. He was rolling to his left and then to his right. Whenever he closed his eyes he saw Coco being eaten alive by the vampires. Her piercing scream and her bloodied body limping towards him for help. He felt so guilty for not being able to save her however, he knew he was not able to. He had learned a long time ago that nothing was temporary that was what it meant to be part of the Sons of Hades. No matter how settled he was in one group he would continued to be shifted around to get him used to working with new people. He was surprised that he ended up bonding with Coco and Kris at all. It was not common for the unit members to not talk to each other however Kris and Coco were like his siblings... and he felt he lost a sister. He ended up crying most of the night waking up Kris who he shared an apartment with. Kris joined the young male in his bed and cuddled next to him.

"I am sorry I could not save her," Kris whispers softly to his ear. Sang-Ook could tell that Kris was feeling emotional too. This was extremely hard for both of them. Sang-Ook was not the only one who lost a sister that night.

Sang-Ook eventually fell asleep however it was a weird dream. There was a mysterious figure who was trying to talk to him and he kept running away. It was not like he was a stranger because he definitely remembered meeting this figure before... but who. Who was this figure who kept appearing in his dreams from time to time. What was he trying to say?

The airport was crowded and Tiron struggled to move properly. Everyone was shoving each other to get a taxi for their intended destinations. These koreans are crazy. When Tiron finally managed to get out of the building, every cab had driven off. Tiron let out an annoyed sigh and waited for the next one.

After paying the cab driver, Tiron stepped out of the car and stared at the ruins. The ancient palace had decayed over time, but the koreans had not pulled it down, instead they used it for tourism.

"This is just a myth but they say that a demon once lived here in this very place,"Tiron heard a tour guide telling a group of tourists. If only they knew that it wasn't just a myth. Tiron paid the entrance fee and entered the familiar and once magnificent structure.

Nothing changed, no renovations were made, it showed how valuable the palace was to Korea's history. Tiron walked towards the throne room and analysed the place. He imagined Jae-sook sitting on the throne, using Chi-won's body as his vessel. It was all so nostalgic that Tiron found tears escaping his eyes. Back then his rage had consumed him and all he felt was hatred, at least that was what he thought. The rage was all gone now and Tiron realised that even if it was just the tiniest bit, he had once felt happy.

It was that one time, Jae-sook had held Hyun-ra in his arms as they lay in bed. When Jae-sook whispered sweet nothings into his ear, he tried not to let it get to him. After a while of just laying there, Hyun-ra asked Jae-sook why he fell in love with him. Jae-sook's reply was simple. Hyun-ra was strong and gave in to nothing. Then Hyun-ra asked another question. What would Jae-sook do if he was ever killed. Jae-sook's reply touched him and guilt ate at his heart. Jae-sook would avenge their love and stay by his grave every night. Hyun-ra closed his eyes in bliss and rested his head in the crook of Jae-sook's neck.

Tiron snapped back to reality and dried his eyes. He had a job to do in Korea and he couldn't afford to become weak. Jae-sook was back and no doubt hated him to the very core of his being. Tiron left the throne room and headed for the bedroom that he was previously thinking about. The room was dusty, it hadn't been maintained properly. Tiron walked towards the bed that he shared with Jae-sook and ran his fingers on the dusty surface of the worn wood. He looked up and surveyed the room one last time before turning to leave. However, as he was leaving, something caught his eye and Tiron whirled back in shock. He quickly walked back into the room and headed towards a chest of drawers. On the wall beside the drawers was an almost invisible mark. To him, it was almost invisible, but others are unable to see it completely. The mark was Jae-sook's nine-tailed fox insignia. Jae-sook had visited the palace before him! The mark was a form of communication that Jae-sook created just for the both of them. Tiron placed his hand on the insignia and channelled his energy into the wall. The mark recognised his energy and disappeared, words appeared in its place.

'Hyun-ra, if you see this, I will assume that you have reincarnated and have come to stop me. My love for you in the past was foolish. To think that I would forget the wrong i did to you and assume that you loved me back. Even now, I cannot deny that this foolish love still exists, no matter how you change, this love exists only for you. But, in time, I will try my best to forget these feelings for it is my only weakness. Once I have gotten rid of this weakness, I will attain true power and not even you will be able to stop me. This is my warning to you Hyun-ra, if you do not want to get hurt, turn back now, for I too do not wish to hurt you.' The message ended there.

Tiron felt tired all of a sudden, the tragic memories were too much for him to bear. Jae-sook was back to wreck havoc in the world, could he do this alone?

--------------------------------------------

Tiron decided to walk back to the hotel he booked rather than taking a cab. It was a long walk and gave him enough time to ponder on the message. Amidst his thoughts, Tiron suddenly sensed an ominous aura, it was one of the abilities he attained after intense training. He had studied onmyouji style exorcism, naturally he had a familiar to call upon. Tiron looked ahead and pretended to be in deep thought. Red eyes followed his every move.

The vampire lunged and Tiron dodged. Chains shot out from his sleeves and bound the vampire. Ah..the wonders of psychokinesis.

"Who sent you?" Tiron asked.

The vampire cackled and replied," I do not need orders to take action. BUT YOU!!" The vampire suddenly spat, "YOU ARE THE WEAKNESS!!!!!" Tiron needed no more explaination and loped off the man's head. Jae-sook had gathered subordinates, but they were acting without orders. A little more disobedient than the followers in their past life. They hadn't seen the full extent of Jae-sook's power and were not too afraid. That was a good thing, there is no unity, but Jae-sook does not need a long time to make them obedient little puppets.

--------------------------------------------

Tiron had difficulty sleeping that night. But when he finally did, he dreamt of an unfamiliar person. But the person's expression was all Tiron needed to figure out who it was. Jae-sook's reincarnation.

In Sang-Ook's nightmare he was wrapped in silver chains with multiple locks that align the middle to a tree. No matter how hard he had tried to budge he was completely bound. For some reason he was in the middle of the woods at night. There was fog around his surroundings and the blood red moon's ray acted as his only light source. This was an unusual nightmare that he had never experienced before. However he hope that this would be the first and last nightmare that involved this.

It was not being bound to a tree with no way to be free that caused him to be in distressed. It was this gut wrenching feeling that ate at him that someone was watching from a far. Perhaps it was his paranoia however he definitely could sense two presences among him in the setting. What he felt was hours and hours was merely seconds in the real world. Perhaps he was lost in his thoughts but when he looked up he saw what appeared to be a shape of a man. The fog was hiding his identity. Silence until Sang-Ook heard the man's snapping twigs as he walked forward. As he got closer Sang-Ook could see the smile that caused him to feel shivers up his spine. The man's eyes were red and they were glowing. When Sang-Ook could get a look at him the man was only inches away wearing nothing but a pair of pants and his hair was tied up into a bun. There were tattoos that decorated his upper half.

"Who are you?" Sang-Ook asked in slight fear. He could feel his heart beat speeding up and his pulse racing with completely terror. This was not good.

The stranger ignored his answer and remained silent taking quick steps forward before chuckling darkly.

"The question is... who are you?" he asked teasingly his hands trailing up and down the locks tugging them gently each.

Sang-Ook remained silent however the stranger's patience was dangerously thin as he started to break each one of the locks by tugging it.

"I don't like it when people don't answer my questions," the man said darkly his glowing eyes staring deep into Sang-Ook's dark brown ones.

"I don't like it when people don't answer my questions either," Sang-Ook retorted with a slight ounce of fear in his tone. The man chuckled and stopped his hand on one of the middle locks looking at Sang-Ook. There was a flash of pain across the stranger's face however it was replaced with anger.

"Tell you what... I will be generous. You tell me your first and last name and I will break these locks and give you a quick and painful death or," he pauses letting Sang-Ook absorb in what he had just said before continuing, "I break the locks and hunt you down and torture you to death,".

Sang-Ook shook his head remaining silent trying to save his energy to break free from this. The man started to break the locks faster and faster to the point that Sang-Ook definitely knew he was not human but a creature. But what type of creature. Before he noticed what had occurred the man paused on the last lock he tried to break it however it would not budge. There was a burst of electricity that sent the stranger going back.

The man immediately got up and Sang-Ook knew he was going to die before the man stopped and looked to his right. Sang-Ook's head turned to look and he saw a figure in the fog that was walking closer.

"Damn it... Hyun-ra," he said before disappearing into the light. The moon that was blood red ended up raining blood and that was when he heard a familiar voice calling for him.

It was Kris's voice trying to wake him up.

---

Sang-Ook awoken Kris continuously shaking him awake and shouting his name.

"San! Sang-Ook! Wake up ah! Aish. We are going to be late for the meeting with the director!" Kris shouted gently hitting him on the chest a few times.

"I am awake!" San replied with a frown on his face. He started to stretch his arms out letting out a loud yawn before getting up from the bed and walking to the bathroom leaving the door open. He flossed his teeth and Kris joined him in the bathroom. Both of them brushed their teeth before spitting out and rinsing their mouth with some water.

"What were you dreaming about last night? You kept trembling. Was it a nightmare?" Kris asked in concern ruffling Sang-Ook's messy bed hair.

Sang-Ook explained to Kris what had occurred in his dream and the name that was stuck in his head was 'Hyun-ra'. Kris was completely clueless at the name and both Kris and him ended up doing their private search for this person. It lead to no results.

"Just bring it up to the director!" Kris says putting his leather jacket on and grabbing his pack of cigarettes stuffing them into his pocket. "We will be talking about the investigation and what had happened last night,". Sang-Ook pulled up the zipper to his jeans and followed Kris out to the cab awaiting them.

---

Both of them arrived to the Son of Hades' headquarters which disguised to the human eyes as another entertainment company building in South Korea. The cloaking spell allowed them to stay hidden to the ordinary human's eyes. Only those who were blessed with the Hade's Eyes allowed them to see where the headquarters is located and the supernatural creatures at night that could be camouflaged in the area.

"Password" the desk receptionist asked politely bowing her head at the two young men.

"Cerberus," both of them responded quickly.

"You may enter," the desk reception responded waving her hands at the four guards that stood near the entrance.

Both of them opened the door and went towards the elevator pressing the tenth floor which led them into another office.

"Password" another desk receptionist asked looking up from her laptop.

"There is none," Kris responded and the desk receptionist smiled granting them access. Sang-Ook on the other hand had forgotten that to speak to the director you did not need a password for he only contacts you.

"Gentlemen," the director greeted with a wave of his hand both of his feet propped up on the large desk. "So glad you both could join. I heard about Coco... sorry for your loss... we have contacted her family... she was a strong hunter and her death will be honored in a ceremony. What's the lead on the killer?".

"Well while I was in the ghost world Kris' grandpa had told me about Jae-sook? I was confused at what that had to do with the killer however I did have a nightmare last night that I think you might know something about. Do you know anyone named Hyun-ra?" Sang-Ook asked still feeling a little terrified from that experience.

"Hyun-ra... Hyun-ra... " the director said patting his stomach thinking before both Kris and Sang-Ook could see the light bulb go off across his face as he immediately sat up, "Ah! He was said to be one of Jae-sook right hand man. Depending on which story teller you hear it from. He ended up betraying Jae-sook in the end though,".

"How does this folk lore even relate to the extermination of the families associated with us? Or the killer?" Kris asked pulling out a cigarette and playing with it.

"That's what I need you guys to find out. This is a grave situation," the director said standing up from his chair.

"How many families have been exterminated?" Kris asked.

"So far seven out of twenty five," the director replied before turning his back to look at the view of the city. "We need to stop as soon as possible. Everyone is a target not individually but the family members as well,".

---

"Ay San-ah. You free to get some lunch?" Kris asked as they walked out of the head quarters.

"Not today. I have to go to work," Sang-Ook responded before hurrying off to flag down a taxi driver.

The reincarnation of Jae-sook turned and walked away. Tiron jerked in shock amd called out to him,"wait, Jae-sook!" But Jae-sook continued to walk seeming to not have heard him. Tiron hurriedly went after him but Jae-sook just got further and further away, soon, he was out of sight. Tiron surveyed his surroundings, everything was black and white, the astral plane. Tiron was familiar with the plane, anything that he wanted to find, he could find it here. It was how he aided Jae-sook in the past. Tiron moved wherever his legs took him, he had particularly good intuition and knew that he would eventually find Jae-sook.

After a while of aimless wandering, Tiron arrived at a forest. He sensed a perculiar presence. It was the presence of a powerful person with a strong will. Tiron had no doubt that Jae-sook was there, he followed the presence. In no time , Tiron had spotted Jae-sook, he was standing near a tree with a person bound to it by chains. However, when he called out to Jae-sook, the latter did not acknowledge him. Tiron then realised that they couldn't see him. He was in the astral plane, whereas Jae-sook had trapped his prisoner in the dream scape, only he could see them. They were in two completely different worlds.

Tiron walked towards them and stopped beside Jae-sook just in time to hear his threat. He stared sadly at Jae-sook. Even after so long, the hurt was still evident in his eyes. Tiron knew that he had to do something when Jae-sook started breaking the locks. As Jae-sook broke the second-last lock, Tiron hurriedly bit his finger. Using his blood, Tiron wrote a taoist protection spell on the lock. Jae-sook could not see the blood but the spell was effective. The moment his fingers touched the lock, electricity sparked and Jae-sook retracted his hand in shock.

"Damn it...Hyun-ra," Jae-sook cursed. He turned away and disappeared in a flash of light. When Tiron turned back, the other man too had disappeared from the dream scape. Tiron was sure that the presence he sensed belonged to the man, a descendent of the Sons of Hades, Tiron never thought that he would see one. Jae-sook was targetting the descendents and their families, they would no doubt do something about it. Perhaps he wouldn't be alone if he worked with them. But would they be willing to work with him? He, who had once been the demon's lover, not many knew about his betrayal but those who knew believed it to be just a tale.

Tiron left the astral plane and woke up in his bed, it was morning already. He got out of bed and went to the cupboard below the television and retrieved the first aid kit. After treating his finger, Tiron washed up and left the hotel. He needed to know where Jae-sook was, but Jae-sook was obviously trying to keep his location a secret from the descendents and especially himself. If only he could get in contact with the descendents of the Sons of Hades, he wouldn't have to face Jae-sook alone, because he didn't have the right. However, Jae-sook had to be stopped, that was the vow he made, he would see throught it to the end.

As he walked, he passed by an entertainment company, there was something off about it but Tiron was too absorbed with thinking to realised. And so absorbed in his thoughts, he also failed to register the familiar presence from his venture in the astral plane. The presence came from a man that exited the company building, Tiron simply walked past him.

Sang-Ook arrived just in time for his shift at The Sip of Heaven. His uncle was on the phone so he went to the lounge to change into his uniform. Business was rather slow this day and no one had requested for him to be their waiter. This allowed him to truly process what had happened that night and this morning with the director. There must have been a message in his nightmare or he was truly traumatized at what had happened that night. When his shift ended he went to his uncle who looked busy writing checks. Jae looked up at him curiously and that was when Sang-Ook told Uncle Jae what had happened the previous night in detail. When he was finished with that he told his uncle what had happened this morning at the headquarters with the director.

"Hold on, hold on. You need to breathe. Calm down," Jae said soothingly as he turned his back briefly to grab a bottle of soju and two glasses. Sang-Ook sat on the bar stool and leaned forward with his hands in his hair letting out a distressed noise.

"Aish. Drink up!" Jae said as he filled up both of the glasses and slid one to him. Sang-Ook grabbed the glass and downed the alcohol immediately feeling the brief stinging sensation at the back of his throat. His uncle filled up his glass again and he downed that one sliding the cup to the uncle shaking his head and his hand.

"No more Uncle Jae, I do not want to drink away my problems," Sang-Ook said letting out a sigh. He leaned forward using his elbows to prop himself up staring at his uncle who gave him a worried look.

"I was not going to let you drink away your problems San, I was just trying to get you to calm down," Uncle Jae explained as he gulped down the soju. "Look... sometimes the answer will not come right away. You must be patient enough. Whoever this killer is will eventually slip up and that is when you will be able to stop him. Be glad that the majority of our family disassociated with the Sons of Hades or they have moved to America,".

Sang-Ook nodded his head and looked at the glass letting out a sigh before feeling a vibration in his pocket. He pulled out his phone and it was a text message from Kris.

See you tonight. I made some dinner for both of us. - Kris

Sang-Ook responded entering his message then sending it.

Oppa! You are the best. I will be home in less than half an hour. - San

"Your boyfriend?" Uncle Jae asked giving Sang-Ook a wink. Sang-Ook laughed before shaking his head slipping his cellphone into his pocket.

"No, we are just really close that is all," Sang-Ook responded before getting up. "I'll be leaving now," he says before going to the lounge and changing into his normal clothes. He give his uncle a bow before leaving the host club.

---

After countless attempts to try to flag down any of the taxi drivers it appears that there was nothing left. He pulled out his phone and called Kris. He heard a ring or two before it went straight to voice mail. Something was off... Kris usually answered his calls considering it could be important. Letting out a frustrated sigh he decided to pull up his GPS and began walking in the direction of the apartment complex. He texted Kris that he was walking back which should take less than an hour.

On his walk back he noticed that there was definitely someone following him. He ended up going the longer route to the apartment and he still noticed the foot steps following him. Sang-Ook checked his pocket noting that he still has his dual blades in case he needed to fight. By instinct he ended up turning left and right through corners and eventually reached a dead end. Turning around his eyes widen at a man with a skull mask and a cloak. He remained silent staring and almost mirroring Sang-Ook's movements. Sang-Ook immediately drew his dual blades and got into his fighting stance watching the man closely.

The man chuckled before removing his cloak revealing the rest of his body which was bones... It looked like someone had placed a human head on a body of bones.

Sang-Ook gulped at the creature who was now chuckling. How was this creature going to attack? Or was he going to attack?

Tiron was officially lost. He had been meaning to find that tree, his intuition told him that he would be able to get a clue on Jae-sook's whereabouts that way. The tree , as Jae-sook told him, symbolised their love and would never wither nor be harmed by external forces. It wasn't supposed to be very far from the palace but Tiron got lost looking for it. It wasn't able to be cut down, but could someone have uprooted it? Tiron pushed the horrific possibility out of his mind and continued his search.

After a while of random walking, Tiron finally spotted the tree. A small smile broke out on his face and he walked quickly towards the big tree. But when he got there, he realised that the tree had been barred so that people couldn't touch it. It has also been used as a tourist spot, its label read,'The Immortal Tree'. Tiron seethed, almost everything of the past has been used as a form of profit. Tiron slipped under the bars and moved closer to the tree. Placing his palms on the tree, Tiron closed his eyes and let the memories flow into him.

He saw Jae-sook, walking up to the tree the same way he had. But Jae-sook just stared up at the tree and walked away after a while. Tiron opened his eyes, Jae-sook had only just been there a short time ago, where was he now? Tiron whipped his head to the side just to see a figure disappear into thin air. Jae-sook had been watching him, Tiron had missed his chance. But still, his intuition hadn't failed him, he had managed to see Jae-sook.

"Oi! What are you doing. You're not supposed to touch that tree!" A guard had spotted him and came running towards Tiron with his jiggly fat body.

"Désolé, je ne parle pas coreén(sorry, I do not speak korean),"Tiron spoke in his mother tongue pretending not to understand the guard. The guard started making gestures like pointing to the tree and then him and making the shooing gesture. Tiron nodded to show that he understood.

Tiron left the tree and started the task of finding a familiar path, after that, he would move on to his next destination, the cemetery. The cemetery was a resting place for one of the descendents that had died for a reason unknown to Tiron. But Tiron visited the grave to get answers, not to honour the dead. He stopped in front of the grave, the lingering presence of the man in his dream remained from the previous day. So that man had a connection to this?

Tiron sat down on the ground and leant against the tombstone. Controlling his breathing and calming his mind, Tiron felt that familiar out-of-body experience of astral projection. Once in the astral plane, Tiron could now see the descendent's spirit, sitting right beside his own body. The old spirit gave him a blank stare.

"It is you,"the spirit said.

Tiron frowned at him,"you know me?"he asked. He had thought that he needed to introduce himself.

"The reincarnation of Han Hyun-ra, past lover of the demon fox, "the spirit said monotonously. Tiron stilled his features and nodded his confirmation of his identity. "What have you come to ask of me?" The spirit questioned.

"What do you have and can tell me?" Tiron returned the question with another. He knew that some things cannot be told and must be left to fate. He could only get what could be gotten.

"You alone are not enough, seek alliances. Only then shall the demon be subdued."

"I understand, thank you." Tiron left the astral plane and returned to his body. He had to find the descendents, whether they like it or not and form an alliance with them. But where should he start?

Sang-Ook lunged forward trying to decapitate the creature however it moved faster than he could. With every strike or slice the creature would dodge it then return a blow to the man. The creature stopped dodging and eventually started to fight back using its claws. Sang-Ook made the mistake of not blocking any of its attack and before he knew it, he was struck on his right side and his leg. The creature dug its claws into his leg and Sang-Ook used the opportunity to decapitate the head immediately with both strikes. The head went tumbling and the bones disintegrated into ashes. The head suddenly turned into a block of wood causing Sang-Ook to be slightly disturbed. Who sent this illusion after him? There was no way this creature could have attacked him out of nowhere. He had been trained to exterminate werewolves, spirits, vampires, and other supernatural creatures however this was certainly out of the ordinary.

Letting out a small sigh he fell to the ground with one hand over his leg and the other on his right side. The scent of blood caused him to wrinkle his nose. The world started to spin and he heard someone calling his name before he passed out on the floor.

---

He awoken in his bed and to Kris on the other side of the bed hugging him close to his body. Sang-Ook heard voices in the kitchen and he slipped out of Kris' hold and into the area whose voices continued to get louder as he walked closer. The stinging sensation of pain caused him to start limping a little and he placed a hand over his side. He opened the door and peeked his head out noting that it sounded like the director and someone else talking.

"Mr. Min please... I understand why you are upset however-" the director was trying to talk to someone however he heard someone slam their fist on a surface.

"You do not understand director because if you did you would understand that I want the best for my family and my nephew. You have been doing nothing as the director to prevent any further extermination from any families that are tied to the Sons of Hades. This is irresponsible and I will pull my nephew out of this bounty hunting posse if I have to," a familiar voice raged until Sang-Ook realized it was Uncle Jae's voice. What was his uncle doing here?

"Mr. Min. Your nephew signed a contract-" the director once again tried to speak however he was cut off. It sounded like someone had taken a knife and stabbed hard on a surface.

"A contract that can be broken. Plenty of families have decided to disassociate with this Korean version of Ghost Hunters," Uncle Jae spoke again this time his tone was louder.

"And those families have all ended up being exterminated," the director spoke. There was silence before the director continued, "Every family that disassociated ended up being exterminated by the killer. We can no longer offer protection to families who disassociate with us. That is our policy. That is what is in the contract Mr. Min. If you truly believe that your nephew can take care of himself along with the rest of your family when there is a killer out there tracking each one of the families associated with us and kill them one by one then you give me a call. You should also tell Sang-Ook this too before you do something that could put a bigger target on your family, Sang-Ook, and you. We PROTECT our kind... have a nice night Mr. Min," the director said and the door closed. Uncle Jae let out a hiss before leaving, Sang-Ook heard the door close too.

When Sang-Ook turned around he saw Kris sitting up on the bed staring at him with a frown on his face.

"You scared me you know that?" Kris said with a frown and Sang-Ook walked over to the bed before lying his head on Kris' leg. "I was so scared that you were already dead when the back up and I found you passed out on the ground with blood,".

"Oppa... I am fine. I just fought with a creature that just got lucky. It won't happen next time," Sang-Ook said with a frown as he placed a hand on Kris' face and gently caressed it trying to reassure him.

"You are damn right it won't happen next time. Your uncle gave me a job at the host club. I'll be working as a bartender there. That way this incident won't ever happen," Kris said as he ruffled Sang-Ook's hair.

"How did you know where I was?" San asked curiously.

"At first I missed your call because I was taking a shower however when you texted me I immediately got in the car and drove towards your tracker. I called your uncle as well and he went looking for you too. Your uncle called me and told me he saw you fighting and he would have helped you however he did not see what you were fighting... so he told me to get backup and that's when we found you. Your uncle had left to get the medical supplies," Kris explained propping Sang-Ook up to give him a tight hug. "Don't ever do that again. I really can not lose Coco and you too,".

Sang-Ook nodded his head and hugged Kris feeling the older man's pain in each words.

---

That night Sang-Ook dreamt that he was by the river, and the crickets were playing their tune. It felt like summer and he was tempted to go in the water however he needed to remind himself that sometimes a dream could turn into a nightmare really quick. Despite him not being chained to a tree he could still be in danger.

"If it isn't the little bird who escaped my cage," a familiar dark voice said causing him to turn around and stare in horror at the man who was completely naked in front of him. His eyes were the same familiar glowing blood red eyes and his tattoos too were glowing. He looked more feral this time baring his teeth and his hands suddenly grew dense and sharp claws.

Before he knew it the creature pounced at him knocking him down to the ground. Sang-Ook kicked and punched at him trying to fight his way out of this. The man only laughed before strangling him making sure to slam his head repetitively on the ground before he was weak enough. He lifted his body and then grabbed his head and dunked it into the river. Sang-Ook could feel his lungs bursting as his vision started to blurred. His body was slowly shutting down as the man's claws and strength kept his head in the water.

---

He awoken that following day screaming.

Tiron decided to switch his priorities. He would find the descendents first before looking for Jae-sook. But right now he needed a good rest, astral projection had left him mentally drained and unable to think properly. However, going to sleep might pull him into dreams and that would only exhaust him more. Tiron returned to the hotel. Lying down on the bed, he closed his eyes and slept, leaving a part of his consciousness awake. This wasn't an ability but a skill that anyone could learn. Keeping alert while sleeping, a way to protect oneself, Tiron learnt this in his past life. But using this now could keep the dreams away.

After a few hours, Tiron awoke feeling refreshed, but not for long. Astral projection was about the only thing useful to him now if wanted to find the descendents. Tiron sat up and looked at the clock, he had twenty minutes, any longer than that and his life would be in danger. He closed his eyes once more and entered the astral plane for the second time that day.

Tiron flew over the city which was now coloured black and white. He could not see the people, only lingering spirits floating about. He still had fifteen minutes left, Tiron cursed. In his panick, something pricked his senses. Tiron turned his head and looked at the entertainment building which he passed the other day. Ah..in the astral plane, he could now see more clearly the power radiating off it. There was no doubt, many descendents occupied the building.

"How troublesome. You found it." A voice broke Tiron out of his reverie. Tiron turned to look at the owner of the voice and narrowed his eyes.

"Have you finally decided to stop hiding, Jae-sook?" Tiron asked.

Jae-sook chuckled, "I never hide from you Hyun-ra. Because you always find me in the end. I just decide when to show myself. By the way, its Nanji now, my name in this life."Jae-sook moved closer to Tiron, his nine tails waving about, until they stood face to face.

"But you prefer for me to address you as how i always have, don't you?" Tiron asked blankly as Jae-sook placed a hand on his cheek. Jae-sook did not reply, instead he trace his thumb on Tiron's face. His sharp claw scratched the tender flesh and drew blood.

Jae-sook snorted,"how ironic, it still hurts. Whenever I see you get hurt." Tiron continued to stare at the demon instead of giving him a response." I love you, you know that?"

"I know," Tiron replied.

"But at the same time, you are also the one I despise the most." Jae-sook continued.

"I know,"Tiron said almost coldly. He could no longer feel the strain of his abilities. Jae-sook had him trapped in the plane. Tiron knew that Jae-sook would not kill him but he would not release Tiron until he was finished.

"I will kill you one day, Hyun-ra,"Jae -sook said fiercely.

"I never doubted that you would, Jae-sook. But, like that fateful day, I will take you down with me again. This world cannot fall into your hands. That was the vow I made before my death and I intend to keep it. If I die, you will go with me." Tiron replied with the same force.

Jae-sook removed his hand from Tiron's face and clenched it tight by his side." You were there the other day,"he changed the topic. Tiron frowned, not understanding. "When I was preparing to kill my next target."

"Ah that..yes,"Tiron nodded. After a while, he glared at Jae-sook. "What did you do?"he asked dangerously. He knew Jae-sook, the demon never gave up whenever his plans were foiled. He must have paid the descendent another visit.

"You don't have to glare at me Hyun-ra. I only gave him a little scare," Jae-sook said nonchalantly. Tiron visibly relaxed. "You know what, Hyun-ra? Although I said I loved you no matter how you change, you really did change a lot. Things like this never concerned you in the past."

"You've changed a lot too Jae-sook, I've never seen you talk so much before,"Tiron said coldly.

Jae-sook let out a large sigh,"looks like I have overstayed my welcome. I just came to greet you today. And to warn you that the next time we meet, I would have gotten stronger. Until then, Hyun-ra."

Tiron woke up with a gasp. He understood perfectly what Jae-sook meant, the next time they met, Jae-sook would have gotten stronger. Jae-sook would have gotten over him, until then, they would not see each other. Tiron touched his face and winced, the scratch made by the demon was still there. Feeling a headache coming on, Tiron sighed. At least he knew where to find the descendents now.

That following day Sang-Ook started to become paranoid. Kris had asked what happened but he only shook his head dismissing the topic. No matter how hard the young man tried to forget what had happen in his nightmare it only bothered him some more. The haunting eyes and claws was something fully burned into his memory even though he has not even encountered a creature like it. He decided to call his uncle and request a day off.

"What do you mean you are not coming?" Uncle Jae shouted through the phone. Sang-Ook apologized and he could hear his uncle sighing through the phone line. "Alright. Alright. Because you are my favorite nephew I will give you today off without notice. Next time give me at least two days ahead for a notice,".

Sang-Ook apologized again and hung up, placing his cell phone on the kitchen table. Kris had scurried off to work and he felt extremely bad not going with him and helping him out on the first day however he was in good hands with the staff and his uncle. His uncle would usually excuse Kris on his first day considering the older male not worked a day in his life aside from hunting down supernatural creatures and going to go school if that counted.

He decided to make himself some breakfast in the mean time, so he grabbed his keys and his phone and hurried off to the supermarket.

---

The supermarket had a lot of sales going on so he decided to stock up on some fresh vegetables, beef, and sodas. It took him more than an hour to get every item on his grocery list and pay for them. Today the market had been flooded with people just buying groceries.

He arrived home and began to cook some simple fried rice. Sang-Ook looked up a recipe online and decided to try cooking which did not turn out as bad as he thought. He almost completely burned down his house however he managed to put it out with a wet rag. The smoke alarms did go off and he had to pull up the windows so the smoke could leave the apartment.

Just as he was about to serve the dish he heard his phone ring.

"What's up Kris?" Sang-Ook asked through the phone.

"Come to the headquarters quick, there will be a cab outside the apartment in ten minutes," Kris said then hung up the phone.

Sang-Ook lets out a sigh before putting away the fried rice into the refrigerator and the dirty dishes into the sink so he could clean them later. Just like Kris said in ten minutes he heard a car's horn and he rushed out of his apartment locking the door then into the cab he went.

Tiron left the hotel in the late afternoon heading straight towards the entertainment company. When he entered the building, he realised that he couldn't see where the headquarters was. Tiron smirked, the descendents of this generation were particularly smart, seeing as even he could not spot their headquarters. It seems that only those blessed with 'Hades Eyes' could see it perfectly.

But Tiron did not need the eyes to see it, he was a powerful psychic, all he needed to do was follow the powerful auras that emanated from there. Tiron closed his eyes and extended his senses. Where were they..ah! Found it. Tiron walked slowly, still with his eyes closed until he found himself in front of the receptionist desk.

The receptionist took one look at him and frowned. She did not remember seeing his face before. But just in case he was a descendent, she asked the usual. "Password?"

"I don't know,"Tiron replied. He sighed inwardly, this is going to be messy.

The receptionist looked at him in alarm. This man was not a descendent with Hades Eyes, but he had found the headquarters. She quickly pressed the emergency button and got into combat stance slowly moving to block the entrance of the headquarters. Tiron braced himself for the attacks to come, he had no intention of fighting back.

For a while, the two of them just stood there. Just then, a man came out from the nearby lift. "Peace, let us resolve this without a fight." Tiron nearly rolled his eyes, the crazy woman was the one who initiated the non-existent fight. If the man did not come out, she would have attacked.

"Director,"the woman stood up and bowed. Oh? So this man was the head.

The director stared at Tiron, analysing him for any threat. Tiron kept his form relaxed careful not to make any unnecessary movement. Finally, the man spoke,"I can see that you mean no harm, however I have already arranged for the descendents to return the moment that button was pressed. State your identity and purpose for coming here."

Tiron looked the director in the eye and replied," I am Tiron von Freusch, a psychic. I am here to negotiate an alliance."

"I don't see what alliance we can form with a psychic."

Tiron closed his eyes and sighed. This was the one thing he dreaded to say. "The name I took in my past life is...Han Hyun-ra."

The director's eyes widened to the size of saucers,"follow me to my office." He said and went back to the lift with Tiron right behind him.

Sang-Ook thanked his taxi driver before exiting the vehicle and walking towards the entrance of the headquarter. Kris was already in the room with the director and from what he could comprehend from the text message an ally? That slightly odd to Sang-Ook considering that there were rarely any alliances mainly because no one was able to truly see the Sons of Hades' headquarters before. This was the first time he had heard of a thing called an alliance. But why? Sang-Ook was not really paying attention and nearly tripped on his feet. Luckily one of the staff members caught him.

"Thank you," he said bowing his head in gratitude before waving at the receptionist.

"Password?" the receptionist asked politely despite recognizing his face.

"Cerberus," Sang-Ook replied smoothly before heading towards the director's room.

---

When he got there it was dead silent and the vibe he was feeling was off? He turned over to look at the foreigner with curiosity before greeting Kris and the director.

"Please take a seat," the director requested as he pointed towards the couch. When Kris and Sang-Ook were settled leaning against each other, the director cleared his throat before looking over for the man.

"If you do not mind. Could you introduce yourself and tell them why you seek an alliance with us?" Kris asked bluntly staring at the man emotionless.

"Why would a foreigner seek an alliance with us?" Sang-Ook whispered to Kris before looking at the man awaiting an answer.

Tiron followed the director into his office where he was told to take a seat. The director sat on the couch opposite him and stared at him curiously." My best agents will be here soon, please be a little patient for the moment." Tiron nodded stiffly and continued to wait uncomfortably under the director's scrutiny. Soon after, Tiron felt a powerful but unfamiliar presence moving towards the room.

"Looks like one of them has a arrived,"he announced. A few seconds later, the door opened and a tall man entered. Tiron stood up and they shook hands." Tiron," he introduced himself.

"You may call me Kris, Sang-ook will be arriving soon," the other man replied. Tiron nodded and proceeded to wait again. After a while, Tiron felt yet another presence, but this one was familiar. It was the man from his dreams, Tiron wasn't surprise that he would be here but he definitely did not expect to be meeting the latter. The door opened and a young man with reddish bronze hair entered.

When everyone had been seated properly, Kris asked his question without hesitation. Tiron winced inwardly, he was really nervous about revealing his identity fearing their reaction." My name is Tiron von Freusch, a psychic. I am aware that your fellow descendents have been targeted by a formidable foe and are quickly being eliminated. The killer and I know each other, his name is Jae-sook. I assume that you know of him from folklore. He is a powerful gumiho that seeks to destroy the world for revenge. You will find that much of the myth is actually true. Seeing as getting rid of him will also benefit you guys, I wish to form an alliance, for I fear that just me alone is not enough to defeat him." Tiron paused and surveyed the grave expressions of the room's occupants. "You are all wondering why I am poking my nose into your business. But this will also benefit me. Not a lot of people know of a man called Hyun-ra since he is not part of the myth. But in actual fact, he played a huge role in Jae-sook's life. Hyun-ra was Jae-sook's lover who betrayed Jae-sook. I am his reincarnation. Before my death, I vowed to stop Jae-sook from getting what he wants, that is why this concerns me very much. Think about it and contact me if you decide to go through with this alliance. Director, I have given you my contact details earlier, I take my leave now."

His pounded loudly against his chest when he left the building. It had been really tense in there and Tiron couldn't wait to bolt it. But it was all over now, he just had to wait for their response.

Sang-Ook and Kris both stared at Tiron examining the man's overall appearance. Sang-Ook was more or less trying to memorize his facial structure and body shape just in case he needed to contact him. Kris on the other hand was just out right staring daggers at him. The sunbae naturally had animosity towards foreigner especially those who come into the headquarters looking for an alliance.

Both of the bounty hunters sat there listening to Tiron's tale. At the mention of Hyun-Ra, Sang-Ook almost jumped out of his seat. He could feel the shivers tingling along his spine as he has finally connected the name to the face. However, he was slightly confused at the man who claimed he was the so-called Hyun-Ra. Wasn't Hyun-Ra... a native Korean? What was going on. He did not realize his left leg was shaking until Kris gently placed his hand on it calming him down a little. As Tiron continued his tale most of his questions was answered however when the man left it sparked more commotion.

When the door closed, Kris got up from his seat and started chuckling.

"How stupid does he think we are to even want to form an alliance with him?" Kris spoke as he tried to calm himself down from laughing.

"What do you think Sang-Ook?" the director asked staring at the man sitting on the couch.

"I think this needs to happen. If he is truly Hyun-Ra then he can help us end this massacre," Sang-Ook said scratching his head. He was not sure how to even form a coherent sentence after listening to Tiron.

"What!?" Kris said as he looked over to Sang-Ook with a flabbergasted look on his face.

"An alliance needs to happen if are going to capture and execute Jae-Sook," Sang-Ook eventually said staring over to the director.

"I agree, I will contact him tonight. Pay attention to your phones. You will be getting a message tonight to meet up with him... we have a mission for you," the director said before dismissing the two of them.

"Why us though?" Kris asked still shocked at what was happening.

"Just follow the orders, I will answer your question later," the director said before waving his hand clearly not in the mood to discuss any more.

Tiron decided that while waiting for the descendent's response, he had time to explore the area seeing as Jae-sook wasn't going to bother him. South Korea was a beautiful country with lots to see and Tiron finally had the chance to relax. He walked through the bustling streets and looked at the interesting products on sale. The country had changed a lot since back then. It was a lot more peaceful minus the supernatural, people now had no knowledge of the supernatural's existence. Wars were almost non-existent since conflicts could be resolved with words. If only the past was like this, what happened would not have happened. Tiron sighed, there was no use hoping now, another battle was coming up, they couldn't delay any longer.

"AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" A scream broke Tiron out of his reverie and he rushed towards the direction of the scene. The scream came from a woman who was staring fearfully at something in the alley way. She had attracted a crowded, some of them held the same expression as her, some had disgust written across their faces and others was angry and Tiron could guess why. He could see the blood flowing out onto the main path, how could someone have done this in broad daylight. He squeezed himself through the crowd, some of which had dispersed to retch. What he saw made the bile rise up his throat.

Tiron had seen multiple deaths both in his past and present life. But this particular murder was on a different scale of violent. The body had been mauled beyond recognition and Tiron knew who the culprit was. The claw marks could only belong to the talons of a harpy. Greek mythology described them as half woman, half bird. But in actual fact, they were beautiful women who seduced their victims into their trap where they would be killed by nails that grows at the harpy's will, then eaten. But it seems that this harpy wasn't hungry, the victim was killed for pleasure......because he was a descendent. Tiron walked away from the scene, his mood for exploring all went down the drain.

Another descendent had been eliminated and soon his family will meet the same fate. Just why was Jae-sook doing this? Still, Tiron couldn't help but think that the descendent deserved it. He should have known better than to follow any beautiful woman that comes to talk to him.

When Tiron had reached the hotel lobby, his phone rang and he answered,"hello?"

"Tiron, this is the director. I have discussed with my agents and decided that we would go through with this alliance. But before we decide to trust you, we have a mission that requires your cooperation. Tonight."

Sang-Ook and Kris were getting ready for tonight's mission which will be announce shortly. The director had called Kris and told him to be prepared along with Sang-Ook for tonight's mission. Kris was sharpening his blades and carefully selecting hand guns while Sang-Ook was meditating in his room. Sang-Ook needed to be calm and prepared for the unknown task. After a quick meditation session he got up and pulled out the trunk from beneath his bed the weapons he would need. He decided to go with two sharp daggers and the crossbow with a hidden stake with a push of the button. He armed himself with enough arrows and waited with Kris in the kitchen. They were dressed in their skin tight black suits and decided to wear their mask which the director had instructed Kris to do along with his unit.

It was roughly midnight when the text message was sent out. It read.

Tonight's mission will take place in the garage dump facility. There is a hand crafted wooden box. Obtain it. Tiron should be there as well. Meet near the entrance but do not be seen. - Director

There was a honk from the taxi driver and both of the bounty hunters knew the time had finally come for their mission.

---

The ride was rather short and they arrived to the dumpster in a few minutes. The sight appeared to be a large mountainous view of garbage stacked upon each other. The odor was pungent but both of the hunters had their masks on which prevented them to smell the scent of trash. It felt like forever when Kris nudged Sang-Ook who was clearly out of it. With no words, Kris motion Sang-Ook to follow him.

Sang-Ook thought it was Tiron however he was completely wrong before he realized it, he was too late. It was five large wolves circling Kris and him which caused him to be rather nervous. He had never dealt with wolves before however he focused his energy and decided to pay attention to the rhythm of their movements. Their pace was slow and he could tell that the wolves were definitely watching Kris and him almost observing to see who would start off the battle.

Kris immediately lunged forward and slice the wolf's head and almost like a domino effect they all attempted to attack him however Sang-Ook shot two of his arrows into one wolf injuring it severely. He shot another wolf in the head.

There was two left that were left untouched. They charged forward knocking Kris down however Kris managed to stab its throat and Sang-Ook took care of the other one.

The remaining wolf that was injured was whimpering away.

"The director forgot the small detail that this area are for wolves. We are trespassing," Kris said as he got up from the ground with the help of Sang-Ook.

"Just a little detail huh?" Sang-Ook replied sarcastically before pulling Kris to the side to hide. There were more movements and the young man would assume that there is more wolves in this territory and they would not be exactly thrilled to see four of their kind slaughtered away.

"You shouldn't have attacked first," Sang-Ook whispered playfully punching Kris.

"You do know they were going to attack us if we didn't initiate it right? They were just observing us," Kris replied before slumping to the ground.

"Where is this Tiron guy?" Kris asked and Sang-Ook shook his head before trying to look around for the foreigner.

The garage dump facility, where was that? Tiron thought as he sharpened the blade attached to the end of his chain. He had been asked to wear dark clothes and after rummaging through his luggage, he found just what he wanted. A black cotton-neck, black leather trousers and black boots. Tiron finished sharpening the blade and wrapped the chains around his body with the two blades resting under the sleeves of his cotton-neck.

Tiron hailed a cab and arrived at the garage dump right after midnight. The two descendents had not arrived, he realised but he couldn't wait for them in plain sight. Tiron entered the facility and climbed up a mountain of dented cars. There he laid down and watched the stars as he waited.

A while later, he heard the roar of an engine and the two familiar presences invaded his senses. They had arrived. Tiron sat up but just as he was about to stand up and call for them, the sound of low growls reached his ears. Tiron quickly laid low again in case he was spotted by whatever made that sound. He looked towards the entrance where Sang-Ook and Kris had been surrounded by five wolves. Why were there wolves here in the first place? The wolves were taken down rather quickly and Tiron almost whistled at the skills of the two men. However, the last wolf got away. Tiron watched as Sang-Ook gave Kris a playful punch and laughed at something. Kris slumped down on the ground and grumbled.

Tiron wondered if the two of them would get angry once they realised that he had watched them fend of the wolves by themselves instead of helping. Shrugging his shoulders, Tiron whistled softly at them to get their attention

Sang-Ook along with Kris turned to hear someone whistle at them cautiously. Was that Tiron? Sang-Ook thought before walking over towards the figure. When he got closer he managed to make out the physical appearance which fit Tiron's however he was still unsure. The clothing however matched both Kris and his therefore he assumed it was either Tiron or someone the director had sent on tonight's mission.

"Tiron?" Sang-Ook asked cautiously as he pointed the crossbow. Kris was by his side in an instant with both of his weapons armed.

As both of the men walked closer they slowly let down their arms as they figured out it was Tiron.

"Way to be late," Kris grumbled before clearing his throat, "So the objective tonight is to retrieve a hand crafted wooden box, here is the picture,". Kris slipped out his phone then clicked a few buttons before showing Tiron along with Sang-Ook the box. It appeared to be an ordinary wooden box with a few red and blue strips painted on it. There was an unknown etching in the middle of the box's cover.

"We need to retrieve it. I do not know why the box is valuable. I just know that those are the orders," Kris said before motioning both of the men to follow him. Sang-Ook was still a little cuirous on the objective however he did not question it.

---

Kris decided to devise a plan where Sang-Ook scouted the area then report back. He would be having a talk with Tiron.

After scouting the area for what felt like a few hours but it was merely minutes Sang-Ook noticed that there were no wolves to be seen. That was rather odd... wasn't this the wolf's territory. Still the young man continued to venture deeper and deeper into the forest of garbage until he came across what appeared to be a spacious opening. After examining the area cautiously he noticed that there were no enemies so he decided to return back to where Kris and Tiron was.

"The area is clear. Lets go," Sang-Ook said as he walked forward with his crossbow up.

Suddenly there were multiple howling of wolves. He looked up and noticed that there were a pack of them on top of one of the dumpster hills. Suddenly without warning all of them darted forward with intense speed. Trying to focus on one of them he managed to shoot one causing one wolf to crash into another. Using that as his opportunity he shot the other one. However there were too many of them and he quickly turned his back and started to run.

"Retreat!" Sang-Ook screamed running away from the wolves.

Tiron smiled, it seems like they thought he was the one who was late. Kris took out a picture of the item they were supposed to obtain and showed it to the team. As described by Kris, the box was handcrafted and the picture showed them a wooden box with paint and a perculiar etching in the middle. For some unknown reason, the etching seemed familiar to Tiron but he dismissed it as nothing important since he could forget about it so easily. Both he and Sang-Ook followed Kris deeper into the dumpster despite the overwhelming smell.

As Sang-Ook scouted the place, Kris took the time to speak with him." I want to clarify a few things, foreigner. You claimed to be the reincarnation of Hyun-ra who turns out to be Jae-sook's lover. But according to the director, Hyun-ra was his assistant, I think you know who I will choose to believe. One false information, and everyone will suspect you."

Tiron closed his eyes and replied calmly," the director is not wrong, Hyun-ra followed Jae-sook's orders. But that was because his family was in captivity, in order to ensure their safety, Hyun-ra had to lend Jae-sook his powers. When Jae-sook fell in love with Hyun-ra, he did not reject Jae-sook's affections but waited for the right time for his revenge."

"Revenge for what? What did Jae-sook do to anger Hyun-ra?" Kris pushed for more information.

"That is something I will not tell you," Tiron said coldly and turned to the direction where Sang-Ook was returning. He quickly added before Sang-Ook came within earshot," protect him at all cost. Jae-sook will come for him next, that is all I know."

When everyone had gathered, the sound of multiple wolves were heard. It seems that the scent of their fallen comrades had reached their noses. Immediately, Tiron's chains erupted from his sleeves and the blades poised dangerously above his head, ready to attack any opponents. The pack of wolves stood above the garbage, rage evident in their red eyes. Tiron shot his blades forward to attack two of the wolves and they fell, but the others were still going strong. Sang-Ook's scream of 'retreat' made his legs turn and run. He ran between Kris and Sang-Ook making sure that his blades were on either side of them so that his chains were circling them from the back. That way he could attack any wolf that came into range.

Sang-Ook briefly saw chains from Tiron's sleeve however he was focusing on trying to escape from the garbage facility. This was going to be rather hard considering the wolves seemed to gain speed. At some point he knew that he was going to run out of breathe but until then he was going to use the dumpster to his advantage. Pointing his crossbow he spot a few items on the side hearing it slowly fall down causing almost an avalanche of trash falling behind them. He continued to do this until he reached a dead end.

"Fuck..." Kris said panting his weapons poised up in an offensive stance.

He turns around to notice that the wolves were gone. How strange Sang-Ook thought to himself as he looked around the garbage.

"This is going to take forever to find the box," Kris said as he cautiously walked around.

Sang-Ook turned to look at Kris then to Tiron.

"Tiron... Do you by chance know anything about this box or why it is located here out of all places?" Sang-Ook asked politely resting his crossbow against his shoulder.

Tiron found the situation to be a little suspicious. When he had just arrived, there were no wolves in sight, but they appeared when Sang-Ook and Kris appeared. Then when Sang-Ook scouted the area they were gone again only for a whole pack to appear then disappear again. Was Jae-sook somehow controlling these wolves? Was he having a laughing fit now, while playing around with them?

"Hold on, let me try to remember. Just where did I see that etching before?" He said in response to Sang-Ook's question. "Kris, let me see the picture again." When Kris once again took out his phone, Tiron studied the etching carefully. He zoomed in on the etching with a wrinkled brow. The etching was series of broad lines that seemed to overlap each other in a kind of pattern, much like a chinese design. Just why was it so familiar? Where had Tiron seen it before? Was it shown to him by Jae-sook in the past....most probably. But when and why?

Tiron dug into the very depths of his memory. The box had been taken out from the ground by clawed hands..Jae-sook's hands. Right, he could remember that Jae-sook held the box. Suddenly, a light bulb seemed to go off in Tiron's head. He remembered now. The box contained the deity of the underworld's ring. Jae-sook had buried it to hide it from the deity. When everything had calmed down, he dug it up right in front of Hyun-ra, planning to use it when the right time came. But the attack of the deities was unexpected, he did not have the time to use it.

"I remember now," Tiron suddenly said. "The box contains a very powerful ring that belonged to Hades." Turning to look at Kris and Sang-Ook, he said with urgency, "I have no idea where it is but we must hurry and find it. The wolves must have been sent to distract us while Jae-sook finds the box." Tiron looked around the area for any sign of the wolves while trying to form a plan in his head.

"The two of you should look for the box, leave the wolves to me. If I'm not mistaken, they shouldn't hurt me. Go now."

Sang-Ook and Kris stood there waiting for Tiron to reply to the question. The young man was feeling tense and a little anxious wondering if the wolves were going to suddenly ambush them again. Sang-Ook was walking around making sure that there were no hidden wolves along with Kris who was patrolling the area. They stopped upon hearing Tiron's explanation on what was inside the box. If the ring fell into the wrong hands that means the Son of Hades were at a severe disadvantage and could be wiped out completely. Upon hearing that this was a distraction sent by Jae-Sook, Sang-Ook's face dropped completely feeling that they had been deceived.

Without any direction both of them nodded their heads, Sang-Ook rushed off into a random direction along with Kris.

Suddenly they came across a blank area then to their luck they found the box. Sang-Ook picked it up however Kris knocked him out cold.

"I'm sorry Sang-Ook, it's for the best," Kris said grabbing the box and then turning around to look at the man who has been following them in the distant.

"Nenji or should I say... Jae-Wook. The prize is yours," Kris said offering him the box.

Tiron ran after the wolves, they held him with no regard rushing to complete their task. But they led him to Sang-Ook and Kris before dispersing in different directions. Tiron arrived in time to see Kris whacking Sang-Ook across the back of his head. Sang-Ook fell to the ground unconscious, what on earth was happening? Tiron hid behind a pile of rubbish as Kris retrieved the box from Sang-Ook's hand. He watched as Kris walked towards a dark figure which had appeared after Sang-Ook had been taken out. It was Jae-Sook. Kris had betrayed them, giving the box to Jae-Sook after they had found it.

Jae-Sook was smiling as he took the box from Kris,"good job,"he said. "I knew I could count on you. Now, I better hurry and go before Hyun-Ra returns. You know what to say to him don't you.?" Kris nodded. At that moment, Tiron's chains shot out and wrapped around the box, pulling it out of Jae-Sook's grasp. Retrieving the box from his chain, Tiron stepped out,"too bad, I've already seen everything. Kris, you've fooled everyone else, even the person who cares about you most." Tiron said referring to Sang-Ook. "Despite helping Jae-Sook , you are still a descendent. Did you think he would spare you. After spending so much time with him, I can safely say that he is just using you." He continued turning to look at Jae-Sook.

Jae-Sook smiled,"you know me well, Hyun-Ra." After speaking, he stabbed a clawed hand through Kris' s chest. Kris's eyes widened in shock. "His family will be next." Jae-Sook said and disappeared.

Kris looked over to Sang-Ook one last time before falling to the ground. He could not believe that Jae-Sook would betray him even after signing the contract. His vision began to blur and he lost sensation of his body. Everything was beginning to lose its light and before he knew it, he could feel the ground slowly consume him. This was the gamble he was willing to do to protect his family and himself. He knew that if he aligned himself with Jae-Sook then his family would be spared however he was wrong. Now he could feel the curse of being a son of hades. Whenever you died before your contract ends your body would slowly decompose in the earth. That is the tribute that is offered to hades whenever a bounty hunter dies. This has been going on for tradition. That is what being a bounty hunter is... whenever someone dies... you simply disappear into the ground. Kris knew he would be talking to Hades in the after life therefore he doesn't need to worry. He knew that Jae-Sook was planning to massacre everyone involved in sealing him away. Hopefully his family got his note in telling them to evacuate to an unknown country and cut their ties with the Son of Hades. He really did not want to see them in the underworld until it was their true time to arrive. Sucking in one last breath, Kris closes his eyes seeing Coco smiling and guiding him towards the light, he looks back at his down decayed corpse on the ground then over to Sang-Ook who he had knocked out. He smiles at the boy... patting his head knowing full well that the younger man would not be able to feel it then turns to look at Tiron.

"Protect Sang-Ook or I will come back to haunt you," Kris threatens in the foreigner's ear before entering the underworld.

Sang-Ook was still knocked out cold on the ground. His body was twitching and his breathing was heavy.

When Jae-Sook is disappeared suddenly there was a group of four women who appeared out nowhere from their hiding spots. They were sent as back up to follow, observe, and report back to the director on what had happened. Despite not being involved in battle they did eliminate the other wolves that were wandering around the area.

Momo flips her blond hair and frowns staring at the unknown foreigner who she figured out was Tiron according to the director's description of the man. She struts over in her black combat boots towards Sang-Ook and pokes him on the face several times before checking to feel the young man's pulse. Without saying anything she motions towards another woman Sana to come help her. Sana puts her phone in her back pocket and walks over in her black heels, her brown pony tails bouncing up in down in the process.

Sana attempts to pick up Sang-Ook however the young man would be much more heavier than she anticipated. Letting a quick sigh she managed to help Sang-Ook onto Momo's back. Without saying anything Momo rushes off towards the cab that was waiting for them in a hidden location. Sana and her two comrades didn't leave the scene.

"Job well done Tiron," Sana compliments as she turns to look at the man examining him from head to toe. Her brown eyes wanders over towards the box. She points to it with her pink finger nail and pressed on jewels motioning for the man to come closer.

"Give us the box," Jihyo says rather bluntly taking a step from the side. "The director told us to retrieve the box in case Kris and Sang-Ook were able to. Not you," she explains flipping her dyed red hair. She fixes her hair and then ties it into a pony tail taking a step closer.

"Don't use complicated words. He's a foreigner," Jungyeon giggles as she spins both knives turning to look over at Tiron with a bored look.

"So what would it be? You either give us the box or we can take it form you," Sana says as she pulls out a katana that started to glow with an unusual pink energy. She got into a defensive position pointing the tip of the blade towards Tiron. Jungyeon followed and snapped a finger and a chain appeared with a sharp kunai attached towards the end the energy this time was glowing in yellow. Jihyo giggled as he opened up her jacket and revealed her set of knives all ready, she began to twirl both of the knives in her hand dangerously at a fast speed.
