But when he felt a chill by his ear, he closed his eyes and smiled. Even if he couldn't hear Kris' s words, based on the descendent's personality and love for Sang-Ook, it wasn't hard to figure out what he said. "No worries Kris, I will." As he said this four women emerged from the shadows. One of them went to Sang-Ook and poked him in the cheek before checking his pulse, they were probably sent by the director.

 

The others went to him asking for the box. Tiron looked at the box then back at the women. The alliance was based on benefits alone, he realised. No matter what he did, he would have never been trusted. The women had taken out their weapons even before he had made a decision whether he would give it to them or not. It seems that when the director agreed to the alliance, it was only in name. If there was no trust between them even after Tiron had proven himself, then what was the point in the alliance.

 

"It seems that I had never been trusted from the beginning despite proving myself to be trustworthy,"Tiron said. "If I had never been trusted then I suppose that I do not have a reason to trust you as well. This alliance seems to be in name only. Since that is the case, I do not trust that you will put this ring to good use." After speaking, Tiron threw the box hard on the floor and it shattered. The familiar violet jewelled ring fell out and he stabbed the stone with his blade. No one could use it now, not him, not the director and not Jae-Sook. Tiron looked back at the women,"this is for the best isn't it?"he asked. "No one has to fight over it now."

All three of the women glare at Tiron with anger as they watched what had happened in front of them. The ring that the director had requested had now been destroyed by the so-called Hyun-Ra. It was true the director had not trusted Tiron however they needed him to locate the ring. This would be the ring that would help them defeat Jae-Sook and now they had no clue on how to defeat him.

 

"Do you know what you have just done! All of the families along with their active hunters will be hunted down by him!" Sana screamed as she lunged charged forward with her glowing katana. Soon afterwards the two women followed afterwards. Jihyo was simply tossing knives towards Tiron and Jungyeon was trying to capture the foreigner with her chain. They would have continued to assault the man however they stopped.

 

They would have gone forward however they were stopped when they sensed a familiar presence among them. It was their comrade with a now awake Sang-Ook. He was trembling in her arms as she held a knife to his throat walking cautiously forward.

 

"Tell us what next artifact we need or the boy dies," Momo spat at Tiron.

Even daring to kill their own descendents? Whether or not they were really going to kill Sang-Ook or just threatening him, Tiron didn't care. These people held lives in no regard, only wishing to save themselves, incredibly selfish. He had no time to waste, they were angry, if they really hurt him...

 

"Its a dagger," he said wothout hesitation, his expression betraying nothing. "The reason why Jae-Sook is so hard to kill is not only because he is strong. Swords and arrows can pierce his body but not his heart. His heart for some reason is incredibly strong...only this dagger can penetrate through it."he explained. Actually, it wasn't true at all. The dagger he was talking about is the exact same dagger that he used to stab Jae-Sook in their past life. He could tell them where to find it, but if they ever took it out in front of Jae-Sook, he would explode in rage. Because it was the exact same dagger that his lover had held to injure him. But the descendents didn't know...this would teach them to not to take him for a fool again.

 

"Now... release Sang-Ook, I won't allow him to go back with you anymore. Who knows what might happen to him once he returns." Tiron stretched out an arm, blades poised dabgerously above his head, ever more ready to attack should they refuse to release the boy.
