"Shall we go and get some groceries after this?" He asked as he ate. They needed to restock the fridge and add a new addition which was ketchup. Mar didn't know how he should go about letting Nett 'eat' ketchup. Perhaps, he could get some hotdog buns to go with a hotdogs with ketchup. It didn't seem like a bad idea at all.

After paying the bill, Mar went out of the eatery with Nett, hands joined. He was somehow relieved that Nett didn't reject the food seeing how his tastebuds were a little different. He could bring Nett here more often in future. "Now, to the supermarket," he said cheerfully and walked forward dragging Nett along.

"Yes, okay~" He said, but Nett was already being dragged behind anyways. The merman was fully calm by now, the last thing he was worried about was any outside parties, however on instinct, he looked around the street and the sidewalk. There was no dark car around and everything was perfectly normal. He caught a glimpse of some kid dropping a burger and looking around cautiously before picking up and pretending that it didn't happen. Humans were so weird... If he dropped it, he didn't have to look around if anyone would take it. And it belonged to him, so what if he dropped it? Its not like it fell in the sand.

Looking at the sign of the supermarket, he remembered something important. He pulled his hand and refused to go any closer, "Mar... I can't go in there." He kept his eyes away, "I'll... wait outside..." He forgot about his experience in the supermarket. Nett went in there to try and find a job and... he did something he probably shouldn't have done. He passed by the meat section out of curiosity and found the lobster tank and... well. Thats all that needed to be said about that.

Mar felt his hand being tugged at and stopped. "Why not?" He asked. Was there something in there that was dangerous to Nett somehow? What else did he not know about the merman? He looked worriedly at Nett,"is there something bad in there? Just tell me so that I can take note in future,"he said. "Okay then, wait here for me and don't go anywhere. I'll be very quick," he let go of Nett's hand and went into the supermarket

In the supermarket, Mar grabbed a basket and headed for the section for seasonings immediately. He grabbed a bottle of ketchup and placed it into the basket. After that, three packs of frozen salmon, three packs of hotdogs, a bottle of soy sauce, a small tray of eggs and two packs of frozen chicken were thrown into the basket and Mar went to pay for it. After paying, he left the supermarket.

Nett was right at his side, taking two of the bags off of Mar's hands without a comment about it. He liked helping his human, he'd take the weight off him on instinct by now, which was the case precisely. "It's going to rain," he said out of the blue. The sky barely had clouds in it and the sun was still bright though... "... Later. Tonight." He added because even he realized that saying it was going to rain right now was sceptical. When he was still living on his own, whenever it would rain, he'd like to lay someone on the surface, a safe place, because the rain hitting him felt soothing. He couldn't do that now since it wasn't exactly normal, but the sound of it was good enough for him. He pictured laying in bed with Mar once again, falling asleep soundly in warmth and relaxation... Nett walked a little faster, that being the indication he really wanted to get home.

Mar looked at the sky. He didn't know how Nett could tell. Was it a merman thing too? "Really, I can't really tell. But if you're right, then I guess I can't do any laundry today." He followed the merman closely when Nett quickened his pace. "Slow down Nett. I thought you said that it would rain tonight, not soon,"he said with a chuckle.

When they reached home, Mar was quick to put away the groceries before going to lay on the mattress. He was still a little uncertain of not going to meet the anonymous sender but he didn't want Nett to get upset. Besides, Nett said that it was going to rain tonight. It wouldn't be a good idea to go out.

He wasn't going to be thinking of the Mar finding out anything. He wasn't going to worry about any mysterious persons. No, none of that. Nett was a magnet, as soon as his human got on the mattress, he came in from the other room and laid on him right away. He could smell the thick air outside filled with the smell of rain, putting him in a very oddly lovable state, kissing Mar's cheek and putting his face in his neck, rubbing his head in with a relaxed sigh, "Thank you for taking me for Chinese," he lifted his head up again suddenly and staring at the other's red eyes, "It was nice... Mar is nice... Mar... is..." He put his head down again, locking his legs into Mar's, "Do you like Nett the same way... that Nett likes you...?"

"You're welcome. I'm glad that you liked it,"Mar replied with a smile. He threaded his fingers through Nett's hair, simply enjoying his presence. However, Nett's next words made him pause in his actions. He didn't expect to be asked such a question. Mar didn't see Nett as a friend just like how they claimed to be. Because friends of the same gender didn't hug or kiss like they did. Their actions were what lovers did to each other. But Nett probably didn't know all that and Mar wanted to keep it that way. He was afraid that Nett would avoid him if he ever knew that the affection they displayed for each other was not friendship.

"I don't know if I like you the same way you like me,"he replied after a while. "How do you like me Nett?"

He didn't know why Mar took so long to answer. It wasn't supposed to be a hard question. Not for him at least. "... I like you..." he wasn't sure on how to answer. There were different versions of like? Oh, that's right! He nodded, "I like you a lot. I like you in the way my heart beats a lot and how I don't like the thought of being way from you. I like you a lot... Do... Do you not like me the same way? I feel like you do. But if not... I guess thats okay. I don't mind." His tone sounded like he actually wouldn't mind, but in Mar's neck, he kept his eyes open, waiting nervously to hear his response. Nett's understanding of friendship and lovers was dim. He thought it was okay for friends to kiss, to sleep together. He thought everyone did that. Its what was normal between he and Mar, he assumed it was normal in general. "But I won't stop liking you a lot. I don't think I can. I hope you don't mind, Mar..."

Mar listened with his eyes wide open. The way Nett described the way he felt, Mar couldn't help but feel a tiny ray of hope. That Nett returned his feelings even though he didn't know it. "I-I guess you could say that i feel the same way,"he stuttered out. He felt embarrassed having this talk with Nett. Mar lifted a hand to cover the blush forming on his cheeks. He smiled though, at Nett's next words.

"Really? That makes me very happy,"he said. "To know that you like me this much," he continued. "I like you a lot too. But i don't know how to say it."

He was relieved and stopped hiding his hesitant expression, which was now one that was soft, his misty eyes raining down on Mar with happiness. Hey wait. He didn't want to see Mar covering half of his face. Nett pulled up his hands and took his wrist, peeling his hand off his face, "... You did just now, Mar. You said you like Nett a lot too... We feel the same way. I am happy. And you are too."

The merman's gaze sunk into Mar's rosy cheeks, admiring the rare sight, "I like you." He came closer and kissed his lips, though it wasn't a half baked kiss like before. He didn't know how to kiss back then, watching a lot of people doing it in his silent observations, Nett did it right. When he pulled away, he let go of Mar's hand, a small, light smile on his face.

Mar couldn't help the surprise when Nett pressed his lips against his own. It was different from all the other kisses they shared and Mar had no idea when Nett had learnt to do it right. Did Nett love him too? As someone special and not just a friend? Their time together had only been about a month, was it enough for the merma to develop such feelings?

Mar smiled back at Nett then leant forward to give the merman a longer and more intensed kiss. He was a bit hesitant at first though in case the merman did not feel the same and pushed him back. He had kissed Nett roughly before and the merman hadn't seemed to like it with his lack of reaction. Mar wrapped his arms tightly around Nett and pulled back after a while.

Only being observant in the regular kiss, once again, Nett was left unknowing of how to respond in this kiss. He wasn't too caught off guard this time, so he attempted to work with it... When Mar pulled back, the merman instinctively licked his lips of his partner's taste, then finally decided to ask, not doing this before because of the bad mood Mar had been in, "What does that kiss mean?" He didn't dislike it. He just didn't understand. Kisses on the cheek were friendly and a way to say I care about you. Nett kissing Mar's lips mean he liked him a LOT... "That you really like Nett a lot? I really like you a lot as well..." He said blinking slowly and lovingly.

Love not yet being in his vocabulary, all he could do was slap on a whole bunch of likes to his sentences before speaking of someone. Like like like like.... Though if Nett kept doing that, it would go on forever, so he put in the "a lot" to save time.

Mar had no ideas how to explain the situation to Nett since he wasn't experienced in something like this either. He loved Nett, but he didn't know how to put it into words so that the merman understood. "I do like you a lot. But that wasn't what the kiss meant. It meant that it was a different kind of like. The kind that even 'a lot' wouldn't suffice." Mar opted with that explaination though it probably didn't help. He kissed Nett's forehead and finally said,"i love you." But Nett probably didn't understand that either.

Net had liked fish. He likes turtles. He liked sleeping. He liked the rain... He liked Mar too, but he didn't belong on a list with those other things. The way he liked the human was different. Sleeping didn't make his heart go fast. He didn't constantly think about the rain or its feelings. Because he didn't like Mar. He loved him. That made more sense... And it sounded important too. Nett looked down from the red eyes he looked into, feeling a small hotness in his cheeks as he nodded, talking quieter, "I don't like Mar either now. I love him. I love Mar a lot..."

Mar couldn't help the joy that bubbled within his chest and felt his heart speeding up. He smiled and pressed his forehead against Nett's. "Do you now?" He asked and pressed his lips against Nett's lips once more. He was really happy at the moment, knowing that Nett felt the same way. His arms went around Nett's waist, pulling them closer to each other than they already were. "That's good," he said and closed his eyes. With the smile still on his face, Mar fell asleep.

The merman couldn't possibly feel any more warm inside, falling asleep after closing his eyes with Mar. He had been so worried that day when the human told him about the email, he thought his secret would be over before he got the chance to protect it, and then the black car he saw on the street too, it almost ruined the whole day for him... If it actually had been ruined, nothing patched things up better than spending valuable, intimate time with Mar. Nett never knew how much he craved something like this, not when he was alone for so long. Starvation. He thanked starvation for making him pass out and wash up on that island.

The week went on after that. Nett was afraid to ask if Mar ever got a message back from that stranger because if he brought it up, he knew it would only serve to make him stressed out. And to him, he assumed that there was no other message because Mar looked to be just fine, from what he observed that is. He was taken away from any bad things when things got quiet, Greyson was never seen and there were was no word of him, and when the two of them left the house, he didn't see that black car again. Other black cars yes, but none of them were the same, nor did any of them give him bad vibes.

It was foolish to think everything was alright though. Each passing day, the merman could tell that his tastebuds were starting to reject the flavors of the food he ate again, which meant it was starting to be close to that time again, sadly. He did his best to hide how bad food started to taste to him, but Nett ate slower and he got one glace of Mar that told him that there was no fooling him. It was not as bad as it was before, it hasn't been that long, but it scared him knowing he'd have to face Greyson soon. The older merman never said when he was going to show up though. It could be early, just when he couldn't take any more, or some point beyond that. Depending on how desperate the blond wanted Nett to be.

Today, he woke up to Mar putting on the nice clothes they got from one of the stores. He said he was going to be back soon and Nett, as always, should stay home. Where he was going, Mar said it was for work and just that was enough for Nett. He didn't know the inns and outs of any type of job, so whatever Mar said, he easily accepted it. His only wish being that he return soon. Not even twenty minutes past from when his human left when he heard someone at the door. Nett was in bed, hoping to fall asleep to kill time, and he idiotically believed that Mar had already come back. He got up and came to the door like a heartsick pet, unlocking the front door with bright eyes.

His eyes dulled when it was not Nett, but the blond merman he resented, a finely dressed Greyson. He walked away from the door, and muttered "...Oh..."

"Hello to you too, little one," he smiled warmly and came right in, "How are you feeling? Its been a little more than a week since I last saw you. I assume you're starting to crumble already, right?" Nett didn't open his mouth at all, trying to find a paper and his box of crayons, something Mar bought for him to draw and color with. "Don't resent me, Nett. I'm looking out for you. I honestly am!"

The younger merman sat down at the table, further ignoring Greyson, so came over and peered over his shoulder to watch what he was doing, which got him to feel defensive, "Give me a minute. I need to tell Mar I'm going."

"Yes. Alright," he said and gently patted his shoulders as he continued to watch. At first he thought Nett was more smarted than he made out to be. He understood that because he came by, that meant he was leaving, no questions about it. The black haired one must already understand why this was important... And also, he didn't know Nett could learn how to write this quickly, it was impressive. Watching Nett take out the black, red and yellow crayons and start to draw, he took that last one back.

Nett drew himself with a frown on his face and a taller stick figure with yellow hair with a grin on his face, which was Greyson, holding hands and leaving the door. Which translated as that Greyson came by to take him. And then he drew himself coming back home with a smile on his face and drew a black tick figure already in the house with red eyes and a smile. That was Mar. This one meant he'd be back later to be with him.

Nett looked over his shoulder at the blond and moved the piece of paper closer to him so Greyson would stop looking at his drawing. He flipped it over on the table and stood up, "I'm ready."

He didn't come to terms with this yet. He was willing to go so easily because he knew that Mar not being here for this was probably better than if he was here.

(This is how I imagine Greyson to look like by the way:

  • 3 weeks later...

((Sorry for taking so long. Here's my post))

The day to meet the boss finally came. Mar dressed himself with the most appropriate clothes he had and left the house, not forgetting to give Nett a kiss before that of course. He was running late and had no choice but to spend more cash on hailing a cab. The cab stopped in front of a large tall building and left soon after. Mar stood outside the building gaping openly with awe, he would undoubtedly lose his way without guidance. Fortunately for him, a reception counter stood by the entrance when he entered.

"I have appointment arranged by Tisha with um..." Mar trailed off. He didn't bother to ask the name of the person he was supposed to see.

"Arranged by Tisha? Give me a moment," the receptionist ignored his uncertainty and proceeded to type away on the keyboard. "Eleventh storey, fifth door to the left after exiting the elevator," she announced, a palm outstretched in the direction the lobby. Mar thanked her briefly and left.

Following the receptionist's instructions, Mar found himself standing outside a large glass door. He lifted his hand and knocked, then entered when he received acknowledgement.

Upon entering the spacious office, Mar's attention immediately went to the person he called his boss. Unexpectedly, it seems that they were no strangers, but Mar didn't let his surprise show. The boss however, didn't conceal his shock. Liam stood up from his seat and rushed towards Mar.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. Mar kept silent. Wasn't it obvious? Or did Liam's shock override his chain of thoughts? A moment later, Liam seemed to get it and walked back to his desk. He calmly gestured for Mar to take the seat opposite him and started to flip through his files.

(It's ok! :)

Greyson took Nett down to his car, he was thankful the younger merman was smart enough to not put up a fight. He can't resist what his body physically needs. The blond knew how it felt to slowly starve, it happened after he was forced out of the water from being caught in a net, but it was no fisherman's net. Being caught is how he met someone very important, the same man Nett was going to be meeting. Nett was silent in the car and so was Greyson, the smaller merman looked like he was thick in his own head, so if he'd try speaking to him, it would be wasting his breath because Nett wouldn't bother listening.

They stopped after driving for a little over thirty minutes, driving deeper into the city and getting into more traffic the further they went, but their stop was a very large building, one that Nett could even tell was higher class. Ushered out by Greyson, he was led inside to a small, furniture-less room called an elevator. Though it was distressing for him to experience one for the first time, he slowed little of that on his face, because Greyson was there watching him. The second highest button was pressed, the one on the tippy top being the roof level. Nett was too new to society to understand that whoever was at someone with a suit that high was someone with a lot of money.

When the door opened, Nett was took to another door, one that when it opened, a familiar person was there. The man in the car was here, in another black suit and with more overpowering cologne. The younger merman stared at him before being pushed inside by the blond, "Here's our little minnow, Nett, to your request, Mr. Bradley. And also to your request, I'll be going to my level now."

"Yes, thank you Grey. Thank you very, very much," his grin sickened Nett, but he didn't speak, watching the interaction between the two of them. "When We're just about finished, I'll call you to bring him back."

Greyson, smiled and bowed, "Yes, of course..." Looking at Nett while standing up and backing out, he waved, "Enjoy yourself, little one~" Bradley closed the door after he stepped out. Greyson's smile fell and while he went back to the elevator, he sincerely did wish for the best for Nett. When he was taken up, he was more knowledgable and more independent. A merman like Nett, who instantly clung to the first human he met, it wasn't a good thing for his master to get hands on him. He was far too innocent and naive for his own good.

"Quit your job," that was the first thing that came out of Liam's mouth after five minutes of uncomfortable silence. Mar looked up at his brother abruptly, eyes wide with shock. Fired so soon? And by his brother no less. He nodded and stood up to leave, nothing more was to be said. Although Mar didn't the know the reason why he was being fired, he wasn't about to argue. He may need the money but working under his family's company wasn't a good thing. Mar didn't want anything to do with them. He had convinced himself that the only person he needed was Nett. "Where are you going?" Liam's voice cut through his thoughts.

Mar turned back to face the crimson eyed man, brows furrowed in confusion. Liam had gotten out of his seat and started walking towards Mar. "You wanted me to quit this job. That meant that I was fired wasn't it?" He asked. Or had he gotten something wrong?

Liam sighed in defeat. "For a member of the Wright family, you don't seem very intelligent," he muttered. Mar pretended that he hadn't heard that insult. "There is no fired or hired, Leo. You're a member of our family. It is only right that you have a place in the family business as well," Liam continued. "What I am implying is that you should leave your post as a distributor and come to headquarters." And this was what he feared. Mar had to reject the offer.

"If that is so, I'm afraid that I am unable to meet your expectations. A company as big as this, I'm sure you only hire people with excellent qualifications. I haven't gone to school since surviving that shipwreck. I won't be able to contribute to your business at all," Mar said and headed towards the door.

The luxury suite was calmingly mostly silent, save for the light classical music that Nett couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Everything was neat, this place was far bigger than he and Mar's place, and it was a lot brighter too. It was so different. Being reminded that this was not home, nor anywhere near it, he tuned out of the world and didn't look at Bradley whatsoever. The merman could hear him speaking to him, but none of it went through. The smile that the rich man wore frightened him and he made a strong note not to come into contact with his lips or else he might be bitten again, which Mar would notice the second he saw him again.

The black haired man shook his head at Nett's lost head. "You're not paying attention to me at all, are you?" He got no response. "Okay then..." He chuckled and patted the smaller male's back, leading him to the next room. The dining room, where on the glass table was a plate covered with a silver lid.

Nett was sat down in one of the chairs, now becoming more alert now that he would have to eat again. His eyes went from the silver to the man, who grabbed a chair, dragging it closer until it was practically conjoined with his. "... You plan to watch me?" He muttered, lowering his head down slightly. Bradley was a human, but he wanted to sit so close to him while he watched him eat human meat? That wasn't normal. Also, he didn't feel comfortable being watched by a bad man so close to him. He might have lost his appetite.

"Watch you? No, of course not." He took the lid off the plate, the warm steam rising up, and took a fork, "I'm going to be the one that feeds you, Nett." Bradley pet the merman's short hair, grinning as he watched the fishboy's eyes start to show his predatory lust for the contents of tonight's dinner, which looked just as good at the one Greyson had prepared. "No comment? Then I suppose that means you won't mind."

Nett wasn't happy about this at all. He hated this. He wanted to leave. Yet, when he man picked up some of the dinner with the fork and brought it to Nett's mouth, the hatch opened and he allowed that dirty human to feed him. It was so hard to hate everything about this while being fed something that was turning off his mind again completely. He struggled accepting this in the first few bites, but after that, the merman had turned himself completely towards Bradley, eagerly wanting each bite.

Within the last bites he was given, Nett crunched on something that was a completely different texture than anything else he ate. Accidentally swallowing whatever it was, he coughed. "Easy now," the man cooed, stroking Nett's reddening cheeks, "You're all done now. What a joy you are, haha!"

"... I want to go now..."

"No, not yet. I gave you what you wanted, now it's time to give me something I want... Here. Wash all that down." The man grabbed a glass of water and offered it to him, "?.. You couldn't have forgotten about that, right?"

Nett said nothing, taking the water with a shaky hand so he could drink. Bradley's eyes lingered on Nett's gaze until the merman looked away again, which made him smile again. He didn't want to ask what the man wanted for him to do, he didn't want to do anything for him in the first place, so why would he be curious to what he was going to do? The water helped him to wash out the wonderful taste in his mouth, but it was getting harder to hold the glass... It was harder to sit up. It was harder to breathe quietly.

Nett's body failed first by falling back and slumping in the chair, and when he tried to put down the glass of water, he accidentally made it fall over on the table and break, "I want to go... feels sick..." Mar had checked for a fever before, he said that a symptom was getting hot, and he did feel that.

"Sick?" He raised an eyebrow, he didn't seem upset about breaking his cup at least. "Oh no, poor Nett... Alright. How about you lay down? If you're feeling sick, it's best you not get in a car yet, or else you'll get motion sickness too."

Nett sighed out of relief. He'd be off the hook now, which was great, but he would rather just be on his way back home though, he didn't care if he'd feel even more sick. What he really wanted was to be in bed, so he could smell Mar and go to sleep until the person he loved came back. Coughing, Nett got up from the chair, leaning on the table to try and hold himself up, but he fell instead, shutting his eyes from the pain of hitting the hard floor. "Euh..." He made a noise, trying to get up even with his arms feeling like jelly. Wasn't eating supposed to make him feel better?

He tried getting up again and was successful this time until he realized that he didn't pick himself up, it was Bradley lifting him up, and then he was carried like a bride. "Leave," he reached his arm out towards the door, panting, "Wants to leave..."

"What did I already tell you? You'll rest a bit. I'll take you to my bed, Nett. I want you to feel all better before I send you back to your home. I'll even give you a massage too, alright? You'll feel two times as better leaving back home."

Nett stared at the door as if looking at it would make him go and leave, but the man walked away from it. "Leave... Home... Home..." He kept reaching out for it until they turned a corner and was no longer in sight of the exit. And shortly, he was taken to a room to which the door was closed behind them. Nett's arm fell, unable to lift it up at all any longer. He felt like a rag doll, heavy and unable to move anymore. Fevers didn't do this right? He didn't know, he never had one before.

The richer ignored his pleas like a hot knife through butter, laying down the merman on his bed, looking down at him, "It's soft isn't it?"

Nett had been ignoring this man before, now he honestly struggled to understand what he was saying. "Yes?" He uttered, breathing heavy, and unable to speak properly anymore, "Don't know..."

"You're adorable, Nett," he chuckled as he leaned down, pressing a kiss into the other's neck. "Can't you hear me? My voice? Would you like me to speak slower for you?"

The merman couldn't listen. He could barely see with everything in triples, not even Bradley. All he heard was his mumbling and the sound of his own breathing, which got heavier once the man's hand started to touch his chest closely, sitting on the bed as well. He said something else, then started to take off his shirt. He didn't like this, but only managed to make a groan.

"I said not to worry, right?" He indeed spoke slower, speaking close into Nett's ear, "I also said I'd give you a massage to feel better with too. I can't give you a proper massage unless I take your clothes off, my mermaid~"

He heard that Bradley wanted to give him a "massage", but he didn't feel any better. He did a little though. Having his shirt taken off, he felt some heat being removed as well. Still, he'd rather the man not touch him at all. Bradley touched his bare chest this time, rubbing one of his nipples, toying with the other one with the tip of his tongue. The feeling of both was strange and uncomfortable. He was very sure this wouldn't make Mar happy if he saw this, so he frowned, head falling to the side, "Doesn't want," he whimpered, "Leave me. Doesn't want massage from you."

"You're feeling better though aren't you? You're face is red, and haven't you realized, Nett? You can feel it, can't you? You've already become erect." He smirked.

Huh? He felt like he had a bad fever, he felt uncomfortable. He could barely feel his arms and legs. Closing his eyes again and shaking his head, he wished he could say how he was feeling more sick at this point. If he was going to be allowed to rest, then he wanted to rest. Nett was numb, but he could feel something else now. It made him melt and open his eyes once again, "Ah... Ahh..."

Bradley was rubbing the space between the merman's legs, touching the thing that never actually gave him pleasure before until now. Hearing the confused merman moan and seeing the shock on his face was too priceless, especially because he didn't show him many expressions from the beginning at all. "See? Dont you feel better?"

Not even Mar had done any of this to him. He's only seen him naked when he woke up with legs instead of a tail, yet Bradley was now taking off his pants and his underwear too, stripping him until he was naked. It wasn't fair for Mar. Mar was the special one that he loved, this man didn't deserve to have kissed him before and he didn't deserve to be touching him or seeing him naked. "Rest, let him rest," he moaned and the pleasure in his voice made him want to cry, which he started to do so, "please, he wants alone, please..."

The man moved his hand the inside of Nett's thigh as he stroked the merman's erection, "No he doesn't... He's getting so wet. Even here." Licking his lips, Bradley stuck two fingers inside the younger looking male's ass, making him cry and hiccup more because it hurt and it felt good. "Your species doesn't need a female to procreate, did you know that? Two males can do it together," he purred, "I can't get you pregnant, but it means I know you like it."

Nett could no longer see, everything blurry from the tears and from his vision already being distorted. Loosing that ability with being incapable of moving, he was terrified and scared. The merman cried, wanting somehow for Mar to come in and help him. He'd be angry with him and he'd be disspointed, but at least he would stop this scary thing from happening. All he felt was Bradley's fingers in him and he thought they were still there until something else was there instead. It hurt severely, whimpering louder out of the fire that it felt like in his body, "Snnff, st... Ahh, M-Mar, help," he cried, the man spreading and lifting up his legs as he thrust continuously.

Cum mixed with the blood from the merman's torn insides, both staining the bed and making Nett's nose burn too, the smells exiting him, but more than that, it disgusted him. This went on for until the older man was finished, his semen filling up the terrified boy and leaking out when he pulled out. Nett's face was drenched from tears and sweat, making him feel ugly and weaker than he already was while laying there on his back. It was bad, though at least after saying some unheard words, he left. Nett wished he could go under the covers, but he was left laying there on top of the sheets, left in the increasingly chilly room.

~~~~~
Nett woke up a few hours later with himself already dressed and his body already cleaned. The headache he carried was so bad that when he sat up, he thought that he still was weak from the fever from yesterday. It was quiet though and the lights were off. He wiped his eyes, already starting to cry again. He didn't want to ever do this again, but he knew that he'd have to come back again because he had to eat. Mar would still be thinking he was only coming here to get the proper food his body needed and he wouldn't know about this. Nett wanted to forget about the promise to himself and tell Mar because he trusted him, but he wouldn't. He'd be so sad. So angry. He'd be overwhelmingly upset that he didn't tell him and this happened.
Nett got out of bed and slowly went to the hallway he came from after getting out of the elevator, forgetting about Greyson and Bradley since none of the, were anywhere to be seen. He didn't care. He could walk back home if he wanted to. It would take a while, but he would get it done. In the hall, out in the open, he felt scared that he'd see Bradley and take him back inside... Nett pressed the elevator button over and over until he heard the bell of its arrival. Standing there was Greyson.
His eyes widened and he staggered back. The blonde came out of the elevator and tried to grab him, "Hey, let's... Hey, wait!" Nett ran away as fast as he could, getting frightened like a rabbit who had just met corners with a wolf. "Wait! Let me take you back!"
Nett sped off and didn't plan on stopping, fearing Greyson would just take him back. The other merman chased after him, shocked about fast the younger male could run after spending time with his boss. Eventually, they ran to a corner, Nett frantically touching the wall and backing into a corner, "Nett leaves, not going back, let him go," he spoke quickly and growled as Greyson approached, "Let him go!"
"I'm taking you back, come on," he frowned and attempted to grab him again, but was attacked, Nett biting his hand with sharpened teeth, "Fuck! Ow! Didn't you just hear me? I said I'm going to take you back!" The smaller merman wasn't letting go, so he raised his other hand and slapped Nett hard across his face. "I said I'm taking you back! Can't you understand me??"
Nett let go and stepped back, staring at Greyson for a minute before lowering his eyes. "Wants to go home... Take home."
The blond sucked his teeth, looking at his hand, "That's going to leave a mark now. Thanks." He grabbed Nett's arm and dragged him back to the elevator.
Soon they were in the car again, driving back though a less traffic heavy street. Nett laid down on the seats instead of sitting up with a seat belt, which Greyson allowed since he clearly wasn't doing well. For Nett, he didn't speak, driving instead...
Nett was glad to not smell bad anymore. He looked at his body and saw no bites or scratches. That was good at least. Nett came to the door of the apartment after leaving the car, entering inside without a key. Either it was left open because Nett did not have the key, or because Mar was back and left it open for when Nett came back. He did really, really hope he was home again.
He felt his hand being grabbed before he could open the door. "But don't you want to go to school? It's not too late at your age," Liam tried to persuade him. But Mar knew that it was just so that they could stay connected as a family. Mar didn't hate his family, there was no reason to. But he didn't want the fuss of being a rich man's long lost son, yet school did seem very tempting.
"I'll think about it," Mar replied and yanked his hand out of his brother's grasp.
Upon reaching the apartment, Mar frowned when the door opened without him using the keys. He entered the house and instantly noticed the piece of paper on the table. Picking up the piece of paper, Mar saw the drawing of Greyson. His hand crushed the piece of paper tightly and threw it onto the ground. Mar knew of course that Nett needed food, but he didn't like Greyson one bit. And knowing the older merman's personality, he wouldn't be taking Nett out just to eat. After all, that was no free meal in the world. Greyson wouldn't feed Nett just because they were of the same species, it didn't benefit him at all. Mar sat down on the floor and stared out of the window at the sky, waiting for his merman's return.
Half an hour later, Mar heard the knob turn and the door opening. He hadn't even realised that he had forgotten to lock the door. When Nett entered the house, Mar could tell immediately that something was wrong with the merman. He stood up and walked towards Nett, grabbing him lightly by the arms and staring up at his face. "What's wrong? Did that man do anything to you?" He asked urgently. "And don't even think about lying to me, I'll know if you do," he warned. Mar was certain that something bad had happened. One good thing about Nett's constant emotionless expressions was that Mar had gotten used to reading him. He could tell that something was wrong even if Nett deliberately tried to hide anything. The vibe around him gave everything away.
He dragged Nett over to the mattress and sat the both of them down. He crawled into the merman's lap and cupped his cheek, staring straight into his blue eyes. "Tell me everything that happened Nett. I don't like it when you keep things from me." Whatever happened, Mar wouldn't let Greyson or whoever was with him if they had hurt his merman.
"Assumes too quickly of things that happens... But..." he muttered, his speech still impaired from what happened. He wouldn't lie about one thing to himself, having Mar close to him made him feel so much better. Mar's touch was the only one he ever wanted. Nobody should be allow to be this close to him at all. He would only allow himself to hold eye contact with this person. It was a real shame that he could not speak a word of this. It honestly was for the best, so in order to keep the reality hidden, he would just tell a lie.
Nett stared at his lover longer, then his gaze shifted down slightly, appearing ashamed just as he would if he was telling the truth, "Ate first. He was uncomfortable because Greyson fed him without permission. And Greyson kissed him too. Here," he touched his forehead, rubbing the area, "Greyson kept him longer than necessary... He... Made Nett sit with him and watch the tv. I didn't like that."
He lowered his gaze more, growing a frown, "Sorry... He didn't say no because Greyson is the only one who can give Nett the special food."
"But it's okay," he looked up again, putting one of his hands on Mar's, leaning to the touch as his eyes closed softly, "As long as he has Mar in the end, Nett is happy. And Mar shouldn't worry because He won't let anything worse than that happen. Doesn't Mar trust him?"
Mar stared at Nett sadly while listening to the 'happenings' at wherever Greyson took him. Nett wasn't telling the truth at all. Mar couldn't help the pain in his chest at discovering that the merman couldn't trust him with his secrets. He looked down at the hand that had covered his and sighed. Mar pulled Nett into a hug, burying his nose into the merman's neck. "It's fine. I'll wait until you're ready to tell me what happened," he whispered.
------------
That night, Mar laid beside Nett, thinking of how afraid his merman had seemed. The thought of what atrocious things Greyson may have done to make Nett so afraid, had Mar seething through his teeth. He made sure that Nett was asleep before slowly getting out of bed. He padded into the living room towards the phone and dialled his brother's number. The highschooler could be asleep for all he knew, but Mar was certain that Liam was awake at this time. A business man and student at the same time, there was no doubt that late nights were a frequent occurrence.
As expected, the line was picked up and Liam's fatigued voice was heard. "Hello? This isn't a good time to be calling, whoever you are," Liam said.
"It's Leo. Sorry for disturbing you," Mar replied. A series of weird noises was heard in the background, like as if Liam had dropped a stack of files.
"You aren't disturbing me at all, not at all," Liam rushed out. Mar smiled, he didn't know why his brother was being so awkward around him. Sure, they hadn't seen each other for very long, but they were related after all. "So why are you calling me?" Liam asked.
Mar's fingers tightened around the phone as he spoke. "I've decided to come to the company. Better yet, I'm willing to come home..... If you help me with something." Liam seemed to grasp his seriousness. He knew that something was going on if Mar was willing to do something he didn't want.
"If it is within my capabilities, I wouldn't mind helping you. Just name it," Liam replied.
Mar swallowed, suddenly hesitant to name his problem. "I have someone very important to me," he started. Mar had to go about this very carefully so as not to reveal Nett's true origin. "But he's facing a very serious problem which I myself aren't very certain about." This was in a way true and untrue at the same time. Mar knew that Nett was being blackmailed to do something in return for 'food', but Mar didn't know what that something was. "He doesn't leave the house very often, but when he does, I want you to always have someone following him. Protecting him, and at the same time watching what he does. A yellow hair man will be with him when he leaves the house. But I am most wary of that man, he may be someone dangerous but I'm not sure." Mar's hand was shaking by the time he finished talking. He hated how helpless he was that he had to ask his brother for help. "I don't have the power to protect him myself, which is why I'm coming to you for help. If you can keep him safe, I'll be eternally grateful brother."
Mar gave Liam the apartment's address and hung up the phone. He felt significantly reassured now that he had his family's help. He didn't want to rely on the family's power at first, but dragging it out wouldn't be good. Especially when anything could happen to Nett, Mar didn't have any choice.
Nett felt physical pain in response to Mar catching onto his lie so quickly. Mar was so amazing... But he would have to apologize. He didn't think he'd ever be able to tell him what went on while he was out with Greyson. Not only because it would break his heart, but now, it would also be embarrassing to try and explain. Half of what had happened with Bradley was fuzzy in his memory, and Nett didn't complain about it. It hurt badly and it was frightening to have someone do things without his permission. And its not like he could just not go anymore. That man had what he needed and he didn't have any other way of getting it. However Bradley got it, it only strengthened the point that he was a human monster. Even more of a reason to hide the fact that it was him and Greyson causing him distress from Mar.
He didn't think he'd enjoy being in a soft bed again with the memory he had of one, but sharing theirs with the human relieved so much stress in the merman that he fell asleep perfectly fine. The only time that he started to move around was when the bed was empty apart from himself. He opened his eyes and lifted his head to see where Mar was on the bed, not being there at all. Nett wanted to go back to sleep, but he was convinced that the human he loved was his good night charm. He got out of bed and walked over to the living room right after Mar had ended the phone call. Even though he just woke up, it was clear that Mar was worrying.
"Mar..." he mumbled and walked over to him quiet feet, "Come back to bed," he took Mar's hands and squeezed them gently, "Please?" Nett wasn't sure about what he had been doing. All he wanted was just for him to be at his side. He felt right when he was nearby and after what happened, he wanted to be glued to him as much as he could, only desiring the warmth he produced.
Shortly after Mar had placed down the receiver, he heard Nett's quiet footsteps coming from behind. He contemplated telling Nett that he had arranged protection for him but decided against it. For Nett who was unwilling to tell him the truth, he would probably be against it for fear that Mar would find out about whatever happened. When his hands were enveloped in warmth, Mar looked up at Nett, Staring into his eyes for a while before nodding. "Yeah, sorry for interrupting your rest," he said and stood up. "Let's go back to bed."
Mar laid back on the mattress beside Nett, burying his nose into his lover's neck. He closed his eyes, taking in Nett's scent, trying to calm himself from the uneasiness he felt. Mar was so very worried. Worried that something bad may happen, even more afraid that Nett might get hurt. And even more so afraid that they may be torn apart. He had no clue as to what Greyson may be doing to make his merman so afraid, but he was going to find out soon. And after he has, Mar would do everything in his power to protect Nett, even if he had to go to his family. Right now, the Wrights were the only people who could help his useless self. And with that last determined thought, Mar drifted off to sleep.
