Exellda
The nerve! To think Jerimise actually believed that Danny could change for the better. Things seem to be going decent and then Danny has to pull off a stunt like that! Ugh! His brother was so mean! Jerimise was irritated that his brother just laughed it off, as if what he did was nothing. Why did his brother have to be a jerk? And now a pervert. Although Jerimise should have expected Danny to do that sooner or later. After all, he was, to an extent, a sleaze. The ginger didn't appreciate his brothers actions. And as much as Jerimise wasn't in the mood, after his brother had groped him, he still needed to finish the dishes. Suddenly, they were not as enjoyable... He even felt slightly bothered by the silence. Which is why when he finally finished the dishes he headed back to his room. However he halted before his bedroom door when he felt his phone buzz. He took his phone out of his pocket and immediately his face lit up. He quickly answered his phone. "Hello? Mom?" "Yes dear? Hi! Hello! How are you, hun?" He couldn't have asked for better timing. Jerimise loved talking to his mom, especially when he felt uneasy or stressed. His mom was his everything, his source of happiness and a reminder of where home was. His mom would always be there for him. Jerimise found a smile come onto his face, despite how he felt at the current moment. "I'm..." Jerimise hesitated and glanced at his brother's bedroom door. He sighed and decided to go into his own bedroom, closing the door behind him. "I'm okay... I guess." He said, not sounding entirely 'okay.' "Oh, hun... What's the matter? Are you and your brother still not getting along? Ah, his mom hit the bulls-eye... Nothing else, nor anyone else really bothered him as much as his brother. "Yeah... Mom, I'm trying to get along with him... It's just... Every time I think we're getting along and everything seems to be okay between us, he has to go off and do something mean to me. He knows I don't like it. I always tell him to stop, which usually Danny then tells me that I'm a sissy or something." He sighed, "The usual." "Have you tried talking to him..?" Jerimise groaned, "Of course not! He would just push me away and probably call me names like he always does... It's not fair-" "Jerimise, you really should try to communicate with your brother. He'll come around-" "And what if he doesn't, mom? What am I to do?" Jerimise huffed, finally moving from his place next to the door and plopping right onto his bed. "I think he's starting to have a negative effect on me, ma... Earlier today we kind of got into a small fight, more or less... And I called him trash..." He paused a moment, getting quieter, "And I feel bad about it... Yet... I know he wouldn't apologize for what he did..." Jerimise said and continued, "He took the apron you made for me and threw it away, right into the trash can and smothered his ice cream all over it... You know? The one with the cute bunnies on it." "Awe... I'm sorry hun. Would you like me to make you a new one?" The ginger bit his lip in thought. "Well... I would like another one but... I don't want Danny to throw it away again... So I guess not. Thanks anyway mom."
Coffee-Tastic
At least when he was back into bed, it was easier for him to ease down and eventually go back into slumbering like a rock. He heard voices, but he wasn't close enough to the wall to hear what was going on. Actually, he didn't quite care. He didn't have any friends that would call him. It was probably his mother or his dad... He bet it was JJ's mom, because his dad wouldn't call him first. Danny himself has gotten few calls from them. Well actually he just failed to answer the few calls they tried with. He never picked up because he was either asleep or out somewhere, and he didn't like to call back because he always got the talk. He was not interested in sitting there on the phone pretending to comply and suddenly have some kind of realization that he was heading down to the dark side or some shit like that. Many hours passed by, the sun sinking lower and lower into the horizon as they continued. It was not a new routine to sleep most of the day away to wake up at the beginning of the night. Being out at night was more satisfying than going in the day for the soul purpose of making himself feel more bad. Hanging out at bad places in the middle of the night... Doing things like that can turn him on just like that, the feeling in him was electric all the time. It was like a drug he wouldn't get off of. Speaking of, sooner or later, Danny himself might end up addicted to some wild drug like some of his friends were. He was a little more smart in not wanting to be a druggie because for one good reason. It was costly. He didn't want to beg his friends for money for drugs. He felt like that was pathetic and he never wanted to come to a point where he does anything for it, like some kind of whore from the street... Blip Blip. Blip Blip. His cell phone was starting to buzz and ring from somewhere in his room. It was an annoying sound, but that was also the point of it... The noise got him to get out of bed, staggering in the darkness of his room, only lit by his alarm clock, to find his phone. The device he found in his pants that were discarded and forgotten on the floor like a whole bunch of other junk, on the screen was a call from one of his friends. "Whats up?" He put it to his ear and looked over at the alarm clock. 10:45PM it read. "Where the hell were you man? We've been tying to text you all day you fuck head!" The guy on the other end was too loud for his liking and held the phone away from his ear, yet he was still able to hear him clearly, "I thought you really wanted to go to that reno-ed club." Danny frowned and picked inside his ear, "I was sleeping dumbass. I was up all night... The reno club? I thought we were going in a few days? What're you talking about." "You didn't read the messages then. It opened up early and we were gonna all go together except you didn't answer your fucking phone before. Are you-" "Can I still go?!" He was aware quickly, "I'll get there as fast as I can!" "Good! You better hurry, us all are getting in soon. There's no way we'll be able to get back in to get you if you're late." Danny licked his lips and turned on the lights to his room, "Alright. Be there soon! Peace!" He ended the call and threw his phone onto his bed, grabbing the clothes that he thought were the less dirtiest from the floor, selecting gray ripped jeans, a t shirt with growling dog fangs on it, then a jet black jacket to go over that. His hair was messy, but he just left it like that since he's gotten compliments on how it doesn't look half bad anyways. With his phone, he left the room. He needed to get to the club fast. Exellda
"...just remember, Jerimise, sometimes life isn't easy and sometimes you have to fight a little harder to achieve great things. I know your brother can be a nuisance for you but you have to keep in mind that he hasn't had it easy either. Danny just hasn't recognized your potential yet, honey, and I am sure he will one day. Just promise me, even if you're not getting along, promise me that you'll be there for him- "But ma-" "No buts about it, Jerimise, just promise me. Your father and I worry about Danny, we all know what he's into, not good things... That's why I want you to promise me, that if he is ever in a time of need, please be there for him. You never know, hun, maybe the reasonhis eyes just need to be opened up. Once he realizs that you're there for him, he might just open up to you... And if you won't do it for Danny, please do it for me..." There was a pause, "Okay honey..? Jerimise sighed softly. His mom was right... Besides he couldn't say no to her... "Alright mom, I will... If not for him, I'd do it for you." "Thank you dear. Such a sweetheart. I know it's tough for you, Jerimise... You can call me whenever, okay?" She says sweetly. And the ginger nods even though his mother can see him do it, "Yeah, alright. I love you ma, but I was going to study for a bit before I go to sleep... So I'm gonna let you go, alright? Goodnight!" "Good night, my little JJ. I love you. Bye, bye." And with that, the ginger hung up. He really loved his mom, he cared for her so deeply. It was hard to help Danny when he was such a jerk, but for his mom, no matter how difficult, he would do it. But for now, the ginger wished to study. It wasn't until it was around 10:30 at night before Jerimise decided to call it quits. So he puts everything away before stretching and letting out a yawn. When he suddenly hears Danny's voice, he freezes for a moment, catching some words of what Danny says, but it's not enough to know what he's up to. All Jerimise knew was that his brother was on the phone- And was leaving? Jerimise opened and then peaked out of his room just in time to see his brother leaving. Where to? And for a moment, Jerimise thought about asking... But knowing Danny it was to some party... The ginger sighed softly, secretly hoping his brother would be okay. Coffee-Tastic
In cases like this, where nobody was going to be outside to pick him up, he kept some bus money in his wallet all the time. He nearly dropped his cheap, and normally flat, wallet out of his pocket when he was running to the bus that was just about to leave the stop when he came to the corner. He got on just in time, panting heavily from running a clean four blocks at his top speed. At this time of night, the streets weren't too filled, and also there wasn't a lot of people on the bus to begin with and there wasn't a lot of people waiting at bus stops at this time, so it was generally was a quick ride. Just enough for him to take a break. When the doors opened on his stop, he flew out of the bus and went back to running as fast as he could. The underground club's location was, as the kind of club it was, located in some place people wouldn't normally expect. It was outside of the usual area of the clubs normal people went to. He had to say that some of those places were fun too, But this place was different. It was so secret that it didn't even have a name just for safety... He had been waiting months for it to open up again and tonight was the night. The area he was in looked sketchy, it was actually, and he sneaked through a broken fence into an even more sketchy area. It was an unkept concrete lot with weeds growing out through the cracks, on one of the sides was a brick building and there was a door there that looked like it would lead of to nothing. He ran to it and opened up, sneaking inside and going down the stairs. Not all underground clubs were literally underground, but this one was to make sure the loud music wouldn't bother anyone living around here. When he went down the stairs, there was no line. Was he too late? He walked faster down the hall to the real main door and met a big guy at the door. It might have been a problem... if he hadn't known the guy. "Raff! What are you doing here?" Danny smiled, coming right up to the intimidating man, who smiled a little too. "How it doin' Dan? Your boys are already in." The large man opened up the door, the music pouring out for him from inside, "Don't get lost now, alright?" "Lost?" he grinned and went right in, "See you around Raff~" He was too interested in why he said not to get lost in here, so he didnt stick around the bouncer. That bouncer had a bad reputation for using too much force, so Danny found him all over the place. And it seemed like he got fired from the last place and ended up here! Good for him. He bet the guy was making a lot more money here than at the legal clubs. Danny came in, telling himself that he expected a lot more people than this. It was still filled with people, but the last time he remembered, there was far more people around here. He checked his phone for messages and read up that his friend said he was in one of the back rooms. It had a green door, he wrote. So he went to the back like the message read and was surprised again by how much more space this club had now. The lights were so exotic, the music base was so heavy his feet felt it and a thick layer of smoke was all over from both cigarettes and marijuana, a smell he got far to used to in places like this. In the room, he met up with a huge group, a good amount of them were his friends, half were friends of his friends, and then the rest were girls smokier than the air he breathed. Looking at them, it made him, for a minute, remember how different a girl really was from his brother. Busting chest, curves, great hips, big lips and the smell of perfume, Jerimise was nothing like that, yet oddly enough, he still found that JJ was attractive. It wasn't unheard of to have different types. He shrugged off any thoughts of Jerimise soon though, being handed a smoke as soon as he sat down on a big, soft lounge couch. "You're all pieces of shit. You didn't wait for me!" "You took too long. We were already halfway in line. And anyways, everyone got in fine. It turns out today wasn't opening day for everyone else. Everyone here got lucky," His friend, one with blue scruffy hair, chuckled and laid down over Danny's lap as if he was a big cat, "Yo. Guess what. I got us a guy." Danny smirked, "You did? Who is it this time?" "A guy... a guy. I don't know his name, I just met'em the other day. He goes by the name Copper, he's a new dude, but he says he's got some new stuff. He's comin' later he says. Funny because I don't know who's gone and invited the guy." "What does it matter, man," he scoffed, slapping around his friend's face playfully from side to side, "As long as its something besides plain ol' coke, right?" Laughing the slightly older boy sat up and slapped Danny's shoulder, "Exactly... He better come fast too. I want to get totally scrapped tonight... You just got here, my man. Want to do a line in the other room?" "Is there a better way to start a great night, Luke?" Danny got up with his friend Luke, who laughed more and lead the way to the other room, one where most people did their drugs. It was a larger room, a lot of people already inside doing their own business, be it smoking, sniffing or making out while under strong influences. He and his blue haired friend spent a lot of time in there after taking their share, laughing together and even getting some girls thy didn't know to sit on their laps and chat with them too. Times like this, he didn't think about life at all. School, his parents, his future, all of that was dulled from the smell of the club and the tingling feeling in his whole body. They later went back to the green room, far more loose and out of touch with their senses. The night went on and it felt like the best ever. There were no windows for the sun to creep in and tell them the party was over, nothing could disturb something like this. Except when it was around 3AM. The lights that came down were flashing red and white. "What's that? It hurts my eyes, haha..." Danny covered his face, wiped out on that couch, intoxicated and his blood lined with drugs, which was the first time he felt so far gone in a long, long time. Some of his other friends, ones that weren't as wrecked as he was, all frowned and stopped what they were going. From out in the hall, he could hear some yelling, POLICE ARE COMING. "Police? Who invited the police? THis place aint too croweded anyways, whatever..." Danny laughed, nearly falling off the sofa and on the floor. Someone grabbed him and made him stand up, shaking him, "Yo Danny, we gotta go! Its the cops! This place got busted! We gotta go through one of the exits!" The black haired boy opened his eye, looking around, seeing people scramble out of the room, "Hah? Police... P-Police?! Shit!" He slurred, following the crowed of people. Everything was moving so fast and his vision was really starting to fail him like this. His head was hurting like crazy on top of that. Danny held his stomach, and ran off in a different direction, remembering a smaller exit that was farther off. He was sure to get out and slip away even easier than everyone else this way. Hearing a girl's scream of Get off me, don't touch me!! Ahh! He was getting a lot more nervous. He ran down the hallways, which nobody else was going down, panicking when... well, that door he remembered before wasn't there anymore, there was a wall in the way now. "H-Hey, what the hell!" He whimpered, banging on the wall as if it would bring the door back. "Hey you!" Danny gulped and looked behind him, one big officer was coming towards him, making his whole face whiter than the power he snorted with his friends. He hit the white wall one more time before running down the next hall, which he didn't remember being before. Where's the exit now? Why did they make this place so much bigger?! Danny looked behind him at the man getting closer to him, "Leave me alone!" This was bad. He felt like he was a mouse caught in a maze of cats. He didn't recognize any of these new rooms and he didn't even know where his hall lead to. Looking ahead again, he saw that another officer was running at him in that way too. He swore and quickly went into the first door he could get into. Lucky for him, there was a door there that was open and it looked like the people from this part of the club escaped through it. He ran into it and went up the stairs, being drunk didn't help him though, tripping over more than a few steps on the way up. He could even hear the officer's behind him coming up too. Opening the door at the top, he burst out and was met with a gate. Looking around wildly, he saw that at the corner, the fence was broken. He ran to it, tripped on the ground and scrambled to crawl to it. "Kid, don't run, youre only making it worse!" A hand grabbed his ankle when he was halfway free, Danny shouted and tried to pull himself out with all he could, but his strength was only as good as you'd think. He was pulled back into the hands of the two cops who chased him, yelling slurred curses and everything insulting he could at these two, "You mother fuckers! We were just having a fun night! You ruined it! Let go of me!!" Looking past the gate in his fury, he saw how a bunch of people were running away. It was... crazy... it was as if they were all a pack of deer and these were the wolves that came in and were taking as many down as they could. It scared the absolute shit out of him. "Y-You guys just..." he heard a scream from someone who was tackled down onto the hard floor, "Hah... Y- F-Fuckers, shit, you... m-mother fuckers!" He cried now, getting weaker and weaker against the force of the two grown male officers. Everything got dizzy to him and he punched his fist out one last time before his eyes rolled back and Danny passed out. Beep. Blllring! Bllllring! Beep. "Y'ello? Hey Tod, what's up?" That was what Danny was slowly waking up to, the time just around 1PM. He tried to open his eyes, but everything was so bright, he covered his eyes and groaned. The bed he was on was extremely hard, in fact, when he looked, it wasn't a bed at all, it was a wooden bench. He rubbed his face, slowly getting used to the brightness here. His eyes focused slowly, but when they worked, he saw black bars in front of him. It was strange. why was he looking inside of a jail cell? Looking around more, he got a good look of where he was and what was inside the cell. A police officer at a desk. Huh? Why was the officer in the cell? No, wait a second... Shit. Danny stood up, but fell down from feeling like total shit, "Mrrghhja..." he groaned, trying to speak. The female cop at the desk looked at him and talked to the phone, "Let me get back to you, Tod, the kid's awake now..." "I'mmnotta... kid... Buuh...." he winced, sitting up on the floor by the bars, pressing his face on the metal, "Lemmie go please. I'll be a good boy now, yo..." "And I think he's still drugged up," she chuckled, "I'll call you back..." She hung up, got out of her chair and came out from around the desk to get closer to Danny, "You had quite the night didn't you?" Danny looked sick and sad, looking up at her like a dog in the pound, which was very cute actually, mumbling, "Yeah... Yes I did... Am I in jail now... Please don't tell me I'm in jail now, miss..." Looking at her more closely, she looked very sweet and young about 25 he guessed, with curly blond hair and green eyes, "Haha! No, son, you're not in jail. You're in holding right now... You ain't hurt right? Nothing sore?" Danny frowned and put his hand on his forehead to tell her his head was hurting. "Yeah. That tends to happen when you do drugs and get drunk... Listen, we got a wallet off of you, but you didn't have anything to identify yourself with. Whats your name, your age and your address?" Danny's back hunched more, looking even sadder. He was in the holding cell of the police station, on the floor behind bars, having some lady cop ask him about his information. He felt so wrecked. He was in so much pain and worse, he felt like he could still hear everything from last night in his head. The cheers of happy clubbers, the music, the yelling and the screams of frantic people... Danny closed his eyes and squeezed the bars of the cell, lowering his head and shivering because he was about to cry. Nothing like that ever happened to him. Being busted like that was more terrifying than he ever had. It was so much different from running away up on the streets and in some ally's where he could climb over fences and out run anyone chasing him. It was dark, the flashing red and white lights, the tight walls. The only difference there was that the things chasing him were cops, not deadly monsters, though it felt like that. The woman in uniform rubbed his head and sighed, "Don't worry. Youre in trouble, but you're not goin' to jail... If you can, you can call up one of your family members and tell them to come and get you... You got someone taking care of you right, kid?" He didn't want to look up anymore, but he nodded. Who was he going to call? His dad? His mom? They'd force him back to live with them or put him in some kind of facility to set him straight for good. The looks of shame and disappointment wont be so enjoyable, not that he could imagine. The sting in his gut from picture it just made him want to barf. And what about Jerimise? He couldn't do any of that, but he could happily tell their parents that there was no helping him. He'd look at him with a smirk he bet. I told you so, Danny! He'd say. Danny was so caught in worry that he didn't hear the cop get up and unlock the door of the holding cell, "Come on kid. Go call them, tell'em to come to the station." He pulled himself up after a minute and followed the nice officer to the dial phone. He stood there for a long time, wondering who would be the best person to call... He didn't think he could face the intense look of his father, so he resisted calling them. He put in the number for Jerimise's phone and turned his back way from the cop, clearing his throat so it wouldn't sound like he felt like a complete and utter mess. The phone rang. Exellda
A couple minutes after his brother left, Jerimise was on his way to the shower. He sighed as he grabbed his matching pajama button up and bottoms, which had a plaid design. And after a ten minute shower, Jerimise came out of the bathroom smelling like strawberries. Yes, the shampoo and conditioner he had was strawberry scented. He didn't care what his brother had to say about it, Jerimise bought it, he could decide what he smelled like. Personally, Jerimise loved the smell... He also liked the clean feeling that he got after taking a shower. Then, because he decided it was late enough, Jerimise thought it would be a good idea to go to bed. However, he paused to look at his brother's door before going into his room. He didn't like it when it brother went out partying.. And he didn't want to admit that he always secretly worried for Danny. Jerimise could only purse his lips for now and probably by the morning Danny would be back, like usual. And so, with a yawn and a quick stretch, Jerimise settled into bed and soon fell asleep... In the morning Jerimise awoke to sunlight seeping through the window. It seemed like a nice day. The ginger hopped out of bed. Time to start his morning routine. With that thought in mind, he left his room and immediately headed into the kitchen. Usually Jerimise would have the courtesy to make his brother breakfast. Today, he felt that bacon and eggs and toast too, that sounded good right now. So that's what he made. Jerimise cooked up the bacon first, thinking that would wake his brother from his slumber, as always. Danny always slept in. But... Usually after Jerimise cooked the bacon, Danny woke up... Danny loved bacon... Perhaps he partied too hard..? Jerimise finished cooking and then went to check on his brother. Jerimise knocked on Danny's door, "Danny..? Hello? I made breakfast for us. Are you awake?" He asked, pausing for a moment. After standing there in silence for about a minute, he decided he would open the door. "I hope you're decent..." He said and... Danny wasn't there. "He's not home..?" This lead Jerimise to believe that Danny might have stayed the night at a friends... Perhaps he should text him, just to make sure... So he quickly sent a message. He felt uneasy the whole time, as if his gut knew that there was something wrong. But after he sent that text, he tried to not worry about it too much... But then an hour passed... And then another one... And another one... And Jerimise felt more anxious as the time went by... So he got out his phone and called Danny... Only to have a phone operator reply. That meant it could be three things, Danny's phone was dead, broken or possibly lost. Jerimise let out a sigh, wishing his brother wouldn't make him worry so much. Family was family, even if he disagreed with Danny's lifestyle... This whole time he didn't call his parents as he didn't want them to worry. Danny was an adult... Surely he was okay... The ginger was overreacting, yeah, that's it. And it wasn't until 1 in the afternoon that Jerimise's phone finally rang... It was an unknown number, yet Jerimise didn't hesitate to answer it. "H-hello?" All at once Jerimise felt relief as he heard his brother's voice, although it sounded funny... Sluggish? He was actually happy to hear from him... But found himself upset at the same time. Danny was in holding... That stuck him. Jerimise was worried for his brother... He couldn't even ask any questions before Danny had to go. At least he knew where the other male was now... And Jerimise had to go get him. It was almost funny, but not really. Jerimise felt like he should have said, 'I told you so' yet it didn't seem right. No, that wasn't the appropriate thing to say. His brother didn't sound like he usually did and Jerimise wouldn't be surprised if Danny was scared for once. So he drove the distance to go get his brother, paid the bail, the amount that he had to pay for his brother's time here. And felt very uneasy the whole time. The ginger even received stares... At least two men whistled at him... And one even blew a kiss at him! Disgusting. Even so, Jerimise looked visibly relieved to see his brother, albeit escorted by a female cop. As soon as Danny was released and within Jerimise's reach... In one swift move, Jerimise slapped his brother's cheek, "That's for making me worry..!" And then promptly pulled his brother into a hug, his arms over Danny's shoulder's and hugging him tight. "Ew gross, you need a shower..." Jerimise uttered after sniffing his brother. Coffee-Tastic
Danny wasn't feeling much better after calling Jerimise, but he couldn't say he wasn't relieved to not hear him say what he expected, the "I told you so". he was put back in the cell after the call, afterwards remaining quiet and his head sunken. The nice officer gave him a tissue that he had refused at first, but he took it because he just wanted to make sure his face wasn't gross and wet when JJ came, it helped to clear his nose too. Last night was far more crazy than he thought. It was more crazy than he even wanted. It was so much fun, it might have been the best night ever if the police hadn't shown up and busted the entire place. The woman watching over him would have liked to talk more, maybe give some advice, but that didn't en up happening. It looked like Danny was thinking over himself just fine and he was. Boy, he sure was... He wasn't there for very long after the call though, his brother being there sooner than he hoped. The woman took him out and led him out the holding room. Walking in the white, clean hallway, at the end, he swore there was an angel at the end of the hallway. His brother looked stressed, but when they met eyes, his eyes looked more than relieved, making Danny give himself a small, pitiful sigh. He walked ahead to go to him, he didn't know what he was going to be telling him, but as if he did, he opened his mouth, just before he got slapped. That shut him, feeling his cheek get red from the sting. He'd probably have that imprint on him for a while, but he deserved it for what he did and for... making him worry? That implied that he cared about him, didn't it? If that didn't convince him that was the case, the hug he received right afterwards did. The darker haired brother now felt that both of his cheeks might have gotten some extra red in them. Jerimise's hug was so tight, it squeezed his body and his heart too. JJ commenting on his smell, he snorted and laughed meekly, "Sorry about that... I'll take one as soon as we get back." He didn't know hat he smelled until his brother said so. He bet he smelled real bad, having hours of sweat stuck to his body and his clothes, cigarettes and the sour smell of alcohol. Must have reeked. That wasn't the real issue here for sure, Danny knew JJ was just wanted to lighten things up, he appreciated that. "Can we go now? Please..." he mumbled. He wanted to hug his brother back but he was afraid, embarrassed... A-Another time, he told himself. "Fees were already paid, you can leave," the officer said, stopping a few feet behind the two, crossing her arms, "For all that is good in the world, I hope I never see you again, kid." "Can we get McDonalds on the way back..." he mumbled to JJ in defeat.
Exellda
The ginger huffed in relief now that his brother was in his arms. To say the least he felt bad for him... But at the same time, Danny had it coming... The lesson needed to be learned and hopefully his brother would learn quickly from this mistake... Jerimise wasn't mean enough to rub it in Danny's face. No, Jerimise would rather comfort him, as he was sure even his arrogant brother, Danny, was slightly scared. Prison was not a pretty thing and Jerimise hoped his brother would never have to go. His caring personality wouldn't allow it, Jerimise couldn't forgive himself. He would have felt like he failed his brother. They had this weird love-hate brotherly love, he guessed. Jerimise would probably be there for Danny, no matter how angry nor how much they 'hated' each other... The ginger was simply too nice, his mother raised him that way... Plus, Jerimise naturally cared for many people, Danny was one of them. And after he released his brother, he adjusted his glasses whilst looking up at Danny. He noticed how the other's cheeks seemed to be a light pink. For a moment he thought the other was ill. But no, more likely, as Jerimise realized, his brother was probably embarrassed due to his situation. Jerimise wasn't sure whether he should feel pleased of insulted. However, setting all of that aside, the ginger smiled softly and nodded. "Sure we can, Danny." He said. After all, he was sure that his brother hadn't eaten since sometime around last night. He probably had an empty stomach. "I left you some bacon at home too, I had made it for breakfast before... I realized you were not home." He said softly. "Speaking of, where's your phone? Is it dead, because I called and texted you..." The ginger asked curiously as he started to lead the way out of the station. "Did you loose it? Because if so, we'll have to get you a new one also..." Jerimise wished that his brother would be more careful... Just so he could not waste so much energy catering to him. He felt that he was mothering his brother sometimes and he knew that it annoyed his brother... Really... What would Danny do without him? That's what Jerimise thought as he got in the drivers seat. He would not let his brother driver, certainly not after this experience.
Coffee-Tastic
"I don't have it, I lost it," he mumbled, not giving a single care for it. A phone was the very least of his issues, honestly. It could have fallen out early on, when he got completely wasted or when he was trying to run away from the two police officers that chased after him. The lady officer gave him his wallet, but that was the only thing they found on him, so there was no other fate that he could have been guessing for that phone. What he cared about more right now was being rescued, how Jerimise had even woke up that day, making breakfast for them like he normally did, that he was so worried about him that he tried texting him and calling him. He wished he'd have been home to wake up breakfast instead of waking up in a holding cell at the police station. He rubbed his forehead and lowered his head slightly as they got to the car and got inside, himself in the passenger seat, "My head hurts." He was hungry and McDonalds would be really nice, but that wasn't home and after thinking about home, that was the only place he really wanted to be. "I'm sorry, nevermind. Please, I just want to go back home," Danny leaned on the side of the seat, his cheek pressing onto the stretched out seat belt as leverage for his weight. It wasn't comfortable, and that was exactly he'd rather be home, in bed or on the couch with the curtains drawn out to shield away the sunshine. "And I guess it's late-ish. I'd really kill to have some leftovers of your lasagna from yesterday," he chuckled, covering over his sensitive eyes. A night in the dark, having a hangover and a weakening effect of the drugs, he wasn't doing well to say in the least. "It was really fucking good." He sure would kill for it, but speaking of being killed, he wondered how long he lasted before he was murdered by his father. It wasn't going to be good. He imagined how listening to him would be like, how he'd confront him. Either way he pictured it, it was bad. He even knew that it'll be worse in real life. No apology would matter. With that fear, he sighed, "Does anyone else know about this?" After the call ended with himself and JJ over the line, he came shortly afterwards. He wasn't sure if he had enough time in there to have called any of their parents and explain that he had ended up in a police station. If they did know, he bet they'd flip even more when they heard what he was doing in there. "I won't hold it against you of you did. But if you didn't say anything to your mom and my dad, then don't. Just don't even say any of this happened."
Exellda
The ginger nodded softly after his brother told him that he no longer had his phone. They would have to get him a new one some time later. For right now, all the ginger wanted to do was bring his brother home. He wanted everything to go back to the time before this all happened yet at the same time... Jerimise was surprisingly happy that this happened. Why? Well because he really wanted his brother to get better? And what better way than to be scared of the consequences? Sadly, the lesson had to be learned sooner or later and quite frankly, Jerimise was relieved that Danny hadn't received something worse than holding. He wasn't sure if he could bare to look at his brother if he went to jail, let alone hold himself together. He wouldn't wish that kind of thing upon his brother. No, Jerimise simply was not that kind of guy, regardless if his brother may have deserved it or not. After the ginger was in the car, he heard his brother's complaint about his head hurting. Considering what had happened, and Jerimise did not dare ask what toxins his brother consumed, it was only natural that he would have a headache. "You're probably dehydrated." However, when Danny said he didn't want any food, Jerimise was about to object before he gave Danny the chance to explain... And to his bewilderment, Danny... Actually admitted that he liked his cooking. A complement that brought small smile onto the gingers face. It made him happy that his brother liked his cooking and would rather have the leftovers from yesterday than to go out and have fast food. "I'm glad you liked it..." Jerimise hums, feeling better now that his brother was seemingly okay and sitting next to him. "I also left you the bacon from this morning." He said, knowing his brother's infatuation with the meat. Upon hearing his brother's request about not talking to their parents, Jerimise sighs softly. "I have not told anyone yet. As far as I am concerned-" The ginger turned on the ignition, started the car and pulled out of the parking lot as he spoke, "I am the only one who knows besides the police in that station. So you can rest easy... I won't tell them if you don't want me to..." He said, holding his tongue. "I just..." He found this hard to say but he had to say it. "I'm really glad you're okay, you know? And I hope you're more careful... And take more care of yourself... That's all. Okay?" He said thoughtfully, eyes on the road and not on his brother. He didn't say it in a mean way, like he might have normally, no, Jerimise just wanted his brother to know that he cared. When his mother told him to be there for his brother... He didn't realize how soon that would be, nor had he anticipated that Danny would need his help so soon. And whilst he was made with his yesterday, he couldn't possibly be angry now... Heck, he felt bad for his brother. Jerimise knew that if he was in a situation like this, which he could never see happening... But if he was, he knew that he would be quite frightened, scared, lonely... Gosh he would want to hug his mom so tight. Even if his brother didn't like him all that much, Jerimise just had that instinct to hug him. For him, that's what he would have wanted, and regardless if Danny wanted it, that was Jerimise's attempt to comfort him, when his words failed. The ginger simply felt like actions spoke better than words. And he knew that Danny's father, their father was not a hugger, he was a talker, an abusive one at that... And then there was Jerimise's mom, their mom, she was more a hugger than talker. Jerimise could find comfort in her any day. And so, the drive fell silent for the most part of the ride. Jerimise didn't mind the silence, as he knew that his brother was okay. So upon finally arriving home, Jerimise sighed in relief. "Welcome home." He uttered, getting out of the car and leading the way to their home. "Shower first, then food, alright?" The ginger said. "I'll get your food ready and such..." He hummed, slouched over slightly as he unlocked the door and opened it. "No half-assing your shower... Bath... Whichever." Jerimise said seriously, yet said it in a manner that was gentle. Coffee-Tastic
He felt to sick and lifeless to do it, but he would have smiled when Jerimise decided to give him a little something to say. His brother always did seem aggravated and annoyed about how reckless he controlled his life. Control was barely the kind of word he should even try using. What control did he have? Sure, he had the power to go against any and all authority, but he couldn't control himself and he couldn't stop the things he was doing. Drinking with his friends, doing drugs with chicks and sleeping with whoever looked good. Control would have been having the ability to say no to any invitations when he could be doing other things, or if he just plainly didn't want to go. He always said yes because every time he went out, he liked to think he was screwing with society. It was a shame, he was only screwing himself over by making these bad things habits. Where was JJ going in life? He'd be someone successful. With all of his smarts, he'll be making real money in the real world. Not even 20 years passed by in Danny's life and he already has been able to see the inside of a police station through steel bars. He had nothing going on for him that was important. Being known as a heart breaker wasn't going to get him any job. He would never be able to finish college because he barely passed high school. Danny couldn't even cook. He was literally doomed when it was time to be on his own. He could probably be more careful from now on, but how was he going to take care of himself? He couldn't. Coming to that conclusion, the brother kept his mouth completely shut the entire rest of the ride. Thinking this much really hurt his head, the headache making him feel like his skull would burst and his brains would dirty up the window he was leaning near. At least if that happened, it would just end his suffering and JJ won't have to worry about his punk brother again. The brother made slight grunt and groan noises to everything JJ told him. He wasn't trying to be rude, he just didn't feel like speaking actual words right now. Danny had kept a hand over his eyes to protect against the light until they got back in the house. He never thought the words welcome home would make him feel this relieved. A crazy night, waking up with the police, he should have expected to find those two words music to his ears. No thumping sounds, no heavy smells here~ it was peace. And the idea of a bath was heavenly, but he'd probably wash himself under the shower head first because if he didn't he'd just be bathing in a tub full of dirt and grime, and that didn't sound appealing. Danny walked ahead to the bathroom so he could start cleaning himself up. After he gave himself a quick general scrub under the shower water, he sat in the water filled tub with his knees up, laying his cheek on them with his eyes closing. The hot water felt amazing. He wished his vocabulary was more descriptive or else he'd have said something more significant that just "amazing". It took his breath away to be surrounded by this kind warmth after all that's happened. However, he could be in the tub all he wanted, it wasn't going to be a solution to anything for him. Danny gave himself a sigh, trying to think of what to do. Obviously, he couldn't do nothing, he had to start doing himself some good. He should start putting his priority in school, shouldn't he? It would be so hard to get back on track. It was pretty much hopeless to even think he'd ever be as smart as Jerimise was, so what was he going to do... But well. There was always that option. As in, swallow his pride and ask for help... He's never asked for help before from JJ. Would he even accept? He had so many other things to be doing. Danny frowned and eventually took himself out of the bath, his body clean and his hair wet from a good wash. A good fraction of his headache was gone, but it still hurt and bothered him to the point of not wanting to open his eyes at all, still, he covered himself up in a towel and slunk to his room to get clothes on. He could smell the leftovers and that helped the darker haired brother move his butt faster into clean clothes. Returning out, mostly dried except for his hair, he came over to the table, looking at JJ, "I uh... I think I want to talk to you about something," he muttered, taking his eyes away from him right after saying it. Was he really going to ask him for help? It wasn't like him to do that... But then again, what was "like him" was ending up in a police holding cell.
Exellda
Jerimise was satisfied to watch his brother leave to actually clean himself. He could almost chuckle at the sight. Not that his brother was a dirty guy, no, more like he wasn't usually so enthused to get clean. Nonetheless, the ginger was overall happy that his brother would get clean after what happened last night. Like starting a new slate in a sense. While his brother was in the bathroom, Jerimise would get to work getting Danny's food ready. Surely he must be starving. With that in mind, the ginger headed into the kitchen, however, taking his time in the process. More than likely, Danny would take his time. Jerimise was sure his brother would not only look better once he got out, but smell a whole lot better too. And he actually looked forward to it... To see his brother smile again... Well, anyway. Jerimise didn't have much to do other than to reheat breakfast and the leftover lasagna from yesterday. So really, he didn't need to rush. But that wasn't how he was, Jerimise always liked to be prepared. Sometimes he surprised himself with how prepared he was. It was better to be ready than to be very unsuspecting. Or at least that's what he thought. Merely, all he did was get out a plate and piled the leftovers right onto what would be Danny's plate. After putting the plate into the microwave for about a minute the lasagna was steaming hot, as if fresh. The same procedure was done to the bacon on a separate, smaller plate because Jerimise didn't want the two different foods to touch each other. After that was done, the ginger went into the medicine cabinet, there was one in the kitchen and another in the bathroom. He was sure his brother would not appreciate him interrupting his personal business... Let alone whilst he was naked. That would be embarrassing. Jerimise would have been embarrassed if Danny walked in on him. And so... He had enough time to lounge around and wait a little longer. For some reason the ginger felt a little impatient for Danny to return. He didn't know why... He just... felt comforted when he could see his brother in front of him. Even when Danny bullied him all of the time... Just knowing the unhealthy things he did... Made Jerimise fill with worry. He didn't know... But he supposed that, if he could see his brother in front of him, that would also mean that his brother was okay. So in that sense, Jerimise liked to see his brother, bully or not. So once he thought he heard Danny getting out, Jerimise microwaved his food once more to reheat it. Then after placing the plate down, he decided to do him a favor and get him a drink. Selecting at random, Jerimise settled with milk... Not even thinking about it because his mother would get him milk when he needed comfort, usually served warm... But he didn't know if Danny preferred his milk that way, so he left it cold. Everything was set just in time for his brother, perfect timing for when he arrived. The ginger raised his eyes to meet Danny's. He looked a lot nice now. And with an inhale, he could immediately smell the soap Danny used. It was quite pleasing. Danny was quite pleasing. He was about to comment on it before his brother said something, diverting his eyes. When Danny's eyes left him, Jerimise couldn't help but to worry slightly as he wondered what his brother had to say. "Go ahead and take a seat." He hadn't a clue what was on his brother's mind. "...What is it?" Jerimise asks softly, thinking that Danny was going to tell him something very serious. He decided to sit across from his brother, wanting to make sure that he knew that he was paying attention. "I'm all ears..." (gah, I want the smut already xD but alas, development... Thought about two scenarios. Wish you were online xD I PM'd you)
Coffee-Tastic
I'm all ears. Of course he was, but JJ's concern made him just feel more nervous for being put on the spot like this. He was thankful he would be listened to, but he also wanted him to fuck off at the same time... All what he felt though was just a result of him finally knowing how much trouble he was in and how much he needed his brothers help for once. He was doing this all on his own because so far nobody could force him to do anything. Only he could force himself to do what's right this time. God, its so embarrassing... His brother was waiting for him to say something, but he didn't saw anything. Danny opened his mouth, but only because he took the fork and put a piece of the lasagna in his mouth, his face getting red the longer he didn't say it and he knew that Jeremise was right across from him, looking at him. Danny chewed slowly and glanced to Jeremise when he swallowed, clearing his throat. The silence was hard to bear as well, but he knew that speaking wouldn't make it any better... It actually would, but he was just stubborn with himself. "Um." He sniffled and looked down, poking the food with his fork, "You told be to be more careful and... take care of myself. I appreciate that and I was kinda thinking about it. In a way." Danny licked his lips, biting on them and making a small groan, putting his elbow on the table and putting his forehead on his hand, "And... I came to the conclusion that... I can't do that." He dared not look at JJ in fear of seeing the reaction. A good reaction or a bad one, he didn't want to see either of it from how embarrassed and full of shame he was right now. "But I think that a good start at trying would be to ask you for help. In school... I know I'll be able to pass a single class without your help. If you can't do it, thats okay. But if you could," he chuckled pitifully, but his words were genuine as he wore a weak grin, "I would really fucking appreciate that..." If his brother didn't help him, he wasn't sure if he would be able to do anything. "I'm not smart enough on my own. I would rather have you help me than someone else, JJ." Exellda
Just watching Danny was interesting. Never had Jerimise seen Danny react this way, act how he was... Never had Danny been this way in front of Jerimise. It was absolutely puzzling. The ginger couldn't fathom what was running through his brother's mind to make him look so uncomfortable. In fact, he even look a little disappointed... A new face as well. It was as if Danny was gathering up the courage to tell him something, which baffled Jerimise. Usually Danny spoke without filter, he wasn't afraid to speak his mind... And yet, here he was, eating Jerimise's lasagna. Danny reminded Jerimise of a puppy who had done something bad. Said puppy had it's tail between its legs. It made the ginger happy to hear how much the other liked his cooking. Knowing Danny, that must have been hard to admit, and Jerimise certainly wouldn't complain. It was very nice to hear the other male's opinion on the matter. Danny wasn't very vocal when it came to things that Jerimise did, and he liked. Many times it was quite the opposite. Danny 'hated' everything the nerdy ginger did. He was the bully and Jerimise just let Danny bully him. It wasn't that Jerimise couldn't stand up for himself... It was that he didn't see the point. It would only make his situation worse if he confronted Danny by trying to bully him. There was no logic in that. As his brother spoke, Jerimise kept quiet, watching him silently as he tried to explain himself whilst eating the lasagna. Jerimise would say that Danny had a life changing event. Finally something that was seemingly making Danny want to change for the better. And even though Jerimise didn't exactly know what Danny meant- How could he not stay out of trouble? It really wasn't that hard to do... Jerimise stayed quiet, allowing Danny to fully explain himself first. However that didn't compare to what Danny said next. Jerimise was shocked. Never in his wildest dreams had he anticipated Danny asking for his help. It made Jerimise happy for his brother to seek help. He was flattered and honored that Danny would actually reach out to him. "Did I hear that right..?" The ginger asked softly, "You want me to help you..?" Wow... For a second he thought that he was dreaming. Good thing he was sitting down, otherwise he would have fainted in disbelief. Jerimise never foresaw this. He considered this to be a big step for Danny and he wouldn't make fun of him for it. No, he would support Danny all the way. Jerimise wouldn't have to worry no longer for Danny's safety. He could be reassured that his brother was being more successful in the classroom. The idea itself made the ginger excited and happy. Did Danny just complement him? "Of course I'll help you, Danny!" The ginger spouted, sitting up straight. He cared for his brother despite all of the times when Danny bullied him. "I'm so glad you asked... But you have to be willing to work for it, you know? You cannot say that and then expect me to do all of the work for you, okay?" Jerimise asked, making a verbal 'terms and agreement' with Danny. "If you work hard, you'll definitely be rewarded. It might not seem like it right away... But I assure you it will be worth it in the long run." The ginger said confidently. "If you want, I can come up with ways to reward you for your efforts? Like buying you ice cream or whatever you'd like, so you'll at least have some incentive. What do you say?" Jerimise asked. It really meant a lot that Danny would ask for his help. Maybe his brother wouldn't bully him anymore, and for that, Jerimise would totally help Danny academically in exchange. It was a good deal and Jerimise had high expectations for his older brother. "Are there any other conditions you'd like to express?"
Coffee-Tastic
Speaking whatever he wanted wasn't always what he did. It was true for everything up until yesterday, which was when he wanted to say how good his brother looked without his glasses. He'd never say that. He'd never say how he had a growing attraction for him. He'd never say how after seeing him without his glasses that his mind was starting to think of weird things when he saw him... And he didn't want to take off "needing help" from the list of things he'd never admit, but he had to and he just did. When JJ asked if he had heard correctly, he lowered his head and blushed heavily. You didn't need to make an emphasis on that, idiot brother. Danny didn't want to be the one to force himself to change, it only meant that he was wrong for his behavior all along, yet he wasn't sure if he'd take any of what he's said back though. He was too foolish to see it, but just by asking JJ for help and admitting he cant do this on his own, it was taking back all the times he's told people "I don't need this!" "I don't need your help." "Haha! Studying? Like that'll ever be useful to me." Joke's on him. With his hand sliding off his face as he listened, he just kept nodding his head to his brother's terms. No making him do the work, he had to want it and he had to do his share of effort, yeah, he knew all that. He wanted to be able to survive on his own and he was aware he couldn't do that if he did make Jerimise do everything Danny needed to do. But hold on. JJ giving him rewards? He was no dog to be rewarded. He didn't want ice cream... Making a small pout he thought to himself, I guess there's no harm in JJ getting things for me if I do good. Whatever. I'll take it. "Condition?" He glanced up, shaking his head, "No, all of what you said is alright." That and he had no idea of what else he could ask of the red head. Danny felt like he was lucky enough to get the other's help in the first place. Getting extra things for doing good was just better, even if it was just ice cream. He loved ice cream and other frozen treats. And if he thought about it in an attacking way, he could just tell himself he'll work JJ dry of money because of all of the ice cream he'll have to buy him. "And now that it's settled," he still blushed, but he frowned and made an angry face, "I'm going to finish eating your shitty food. Hopefully without you looking at me like that... Go get me some iced tea from the fridge." Pretty much sick of the embarrassment, the raven picked up his fork again and stuffed an even bigger piece of the lasagna in his mouth as if that would somehow keep JJ from asking any more question, sticking his face off to the side. But shit, this still tastes really fucking good. It was hard to force himself back to normal after this, but he really didn't want to be put on the spot like this anymore, even if the light was positive. It felt too much like being a child who finally didn't piss all over the toilet, or a dog that finally stopped humping new guests or a bad boy brat who finally got a reality check to stop being rebellious by being caught by the police and had been thrown into a holding cell to come to it... Danny just wanted to get it all over with, hoping Jerimise would get the idea and leave him alone.
