Panda01 Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 viva spoiler, lmao \(^^)/!! well, tbh i prefer spoiler too. for me to spend so much times (and emotions) toward something to find the ending is super disappointing is not an exciting thing. that is why i spent time to read the novel. only GH & BLY's storyline though and didn't pay attention to details, minor problems or other character. i even skipped Yang Meng (sorry dear Yang Meng ^^) well, for those who don't mind the spoiler, here some: (anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled, please don't open this coz this under contains the storyline of the novel) this novel is originally divided into 2 parts. the first part, 206 chapters if i remember correctly, contains the story of their high school romance. this part ended with them being separated. second part is taken place 8 years later, both of them went through their own life & crossed path again. both still have the same feeling, still love each other so deeply. after few up-downs & turns, they were back together again. though faced many problems after that, they were still very strong. in the end, they married & happy ending. i personally feel that both character, GH & BLY, developed mature personality in this second part, but i still can't stand BLY's tendency to run away every time situation gets too hard for him to bear. and his inability to express himself honestly in front of GH, leading them to many misunderstandings. aarrgh, so frustrating to see this trait of him to Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. , this is the chapter which contains the end of 6th episode: chapter 45 is in which the 6th episode ended OMGOMG I'm dying:Playful: I'm so happy! BLY was waiting in his room. then he opened the curtain and saw GH riding an old bike, sweating but still very handsome. the bike's pedals were worn out, the chain too and a candy fruit (BLY's favorite candy) stuck on the back seat. Gu Hai whistled and said "Up, Brother'll take you to wedding hall". ten years ago, Gu Hai riding the same old bike, waiting BLY in the morning in front of BLY's house & said "Up, Brother'll take you to school". now, ten years later, he took BLY to the wedding hall for their marriage. i cried when i read this, became to emotional to keep reading & had to stop & control my emotion for a moment. usually i'm a bit skeptical toward gay wedding. i feel like it's became some final achievement for gay couple, especially in chinese gay story. like love for example. Mai Ding & An Ziyan married too, but for me their wedding is more like a decoration, like a fairy tale event to end the story. somehow felt very shallow for me. before all Like Love's fans kill me, please don't get me wrong. i love MD & AZY, but compared to Addicted, their story is way too superficial. when i read MD - AZY's wedding, i was like "uum, okay. it's sweet, end of story". on the other hand, while reading GH - BLY's wedding, i cried. my thought was "finally!! thank you for letting them be happy in the end! they really deserve it!" after looong journey (well, 206 + 108 chapters are sure long, aren't they? ), ten years timeline in particular, suffering so much, loving so much & in the end being rewarded with such a touching scene. am i being to emotional? lol, i know i am Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. well the reason they were separated is because of GH's accident. in this part, actually i don't really understand. from what i read, BLY saw GH covered with blood, unconscious in BLY's arms & he freaked out. after they brought GH to hospital & the doctor said that GH is safe, BLY said to Gu Yang that he will leave & asked Gu yang to tell GH that BLY is dead. then he just leave like that & cried hard on the bridge, mourning for his love, saying that he loved GH the most & afraid to lose him. thus the story ended there. i think BLY has a severe problem with losing experience. he definitely most afraid to lose person he loves & he loves GH too deep (although he never admit it to GH). there is one scene, where GH had to go to california for 20 days & though BLY seemed cool with it, but in fact he couldn't sleep at all at night, worry about GH being into accident or so. so he drunk every night in order to forget it & got to sleep. that is how severe his problem. so when GH got accident, he freaked out & chose to run from him, better to cut ties altogether than risking losing GH in the future. that's how i percepted his behavior since the novel didn't explain much (or maybe it is due to my poor chinese, idk) regarding the further explanation in book 2, BLY then went to GH's dad to ask help for joining military & move abroad, asking promise not telling GH & helped him cut ties with GH, which GH's dad happily complied. so when GH woke up, Gu yang & everyone told him that BLY was dead & he mourned for 2 years. after that he learned that BLY was still alive & tried to search him but no result. in his despair, he met a girl in the collage (he met this girl before, 3 years ago when he & BLY eloped & avoided GH's dad's henchmen) & then had relationship with her for 5 years until he coincidentally met BLY again, thus the old flame started to burn again. both of them still deeply love each other, but to stubborn to admit. until GH decided to get engaged with his gf. but on the day of meeting, BLY got accident with his aircraft & went MIA. GH then left the event & joined the SAR team. 2 days later, he alone found BLY in the swamp. they both stayed there for 6 more days & getting closer & BLY asked if GH hated BLY for leaving him 8 years ago. after that GH forgave him & BLY asked GH to break up with his gf, so sweet. after they were rescued, GH separated with his gf & BLY started to chased GH. after a few days, GH finally gave in & they reunited again, phew ^^! sorry if i wrapped all again in one go Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
