Guys I heard this will be a new Chinese BL Arc .. please translate the title and synopsis if you happen to know what this is ...《烟袋斜街10

 

I just checked it, the Chinese title is actually a street name in Beijing.

 

Google map showing that its called, YanDaiXie Street, in English.

The 10 might referred to a road or doorplate number, I'm not sure about this.

 

It's a story between an author and a pet shop owner.

No need to register anything, just clicked in and let it stream to let them gain more viewership and recognised.

 

In simple, some video streaming website such as IQIYI, they actually bought the series and host it to their website. So just let them know that it is worth to be hosted. Or else they will drop this series in the future. So how these streaming website gain profit? It just like Youtube, they gain profit from advertisements, or users can register a premiuim account to enjoy on some benefits such as streaming with full speed, without ads, etc.

 

So if the show is popular, these online streaming websites will be more confidence to buy the airing copyright and have a long term cooperation with the production team.

that is what i actually do, watch it first from the chinese hosts site, for me to view the story sequence since i could not understand chinese but the funny things i have to guess the promp button which is written in chinese hahaha whether u click "go/ok/proceed or cancel" ...then i would wait for about a half day till youtube uploads the eng subs, then i would stream again 4-5 times with the chinese hosts, to gain viewerships.

i suggest that the leaked episodes should be translated and be aired after its official schedule of release, chinese webs might find it offensive because the exclusivity of these episodes are only for VIP's for them to view it first, then if someone posts it in advance then let it be raw, untouched for a while until its official airing, its not that im killing the enjoyment of every fans, i am addicted to gu hai and bly too, i dont know, but at the back of my head tells me that if we continue to promote leaked episodes chinese webs might discontinue its public viewing and keep each episodes exclusive only for Vip's haha

 

let us also respect the chinese webs by supporting their authority since they are the only source of this magnificent webseries, adding to their viewership percentage just to reciprocate...

Question for book readers - do the second couple actually have a loveline? Because I was really disappointed when counterattack didn't go anything with the other two and I don't want to get my hopes up.

 

Actually no. They indeed ended up together, but the author just wrote an extra chapter of their love story after the whole novel ended. And in my opinion, it isn't even a good one... But in novel YM is in the different class, so book readers don't know how they will be in the series either. YM has much more lines, some of these lines belong to others in the novel. So we can see they are more important in the series. And a BTS video shows that they kissed. So future is bright. Let's get our hope up! (But don't blame me if ......)

now i am a bit confused, in the episode 7, when did they start to live together? Sleeping together? And in the episode 8, what happened to the aunt? Why was she crying? But the roof top scene was truly breathtaking....hahaha

GH was just staying overnight. after the wall clock fell & (fake) injured GH's leg, he made BLY did many favors for him. like accommodated him to school everyday, prepare breakfast for him, helped him walked, helped him to toilet etc. he used this chance to eat dinner every night in BLY's house & stayed there until late of night and then stayed over and BLY couldn't refuse at all.

 

as for episode 8, the reason why Aunt Zhou cried was because some bad peoples ruined her business (in the novel, the bad guys destroyed her stall). GH helped her & BLY thanked him for that

I guess its those VIP members who should be givrn some warning? Theyre the only ones who have access with it. Its a win-loss situation actually. There are so many factors thats needs to be considered by many. But, if we can be united as a strong fanbase and have this kind of rules or so .. then we might be able to stop this leakage. And its all for the viewership and also for them to gain more sponsors. More sponsors means more doors that will open. A new possiblity that is!

I totally love your idea of community-shared subtitles. Reminds me of VNR (Visual Novel Reader) where people from all over the world provide subtitles in many languages, including editing feature! Youtube should have this sort of feature because they are working on deaf accessibility rights where tons of personal bloggers and vbloggers (who make money) do not bother with captioning. But I wonder if there is such a platform for it. All I could think of is VIKI, which has this platform. But I think it only supports licensed dramas.
