I think there is still not enough awareness and lots of potential viewers don't even know about it. Do you guys know any huge LGBT community where we could post a nice post about the show? Maybe if we could gather more international fans and raise awareness and increase the amount of the viewers/subscribers the company and sponsors would consider doing a second season. It is a bit off topic, not BL themed, but this whole situation reminds me of Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds had been desperate to make the movie for 11 years, but the studio always said no and wasn't willing to fund it. Few years ago they shot a test footage, but that's it, still no fund from Fox. Then last year someone leaked the test footage and the fans went crazy. Within 24 hours the studio approved and gave the budget to them to shoot the movie. The rest is history... Deadpool became the most successful marvel movie ever made. So I think it is all about the fans' reactions and if we are united miracles can happen. Also I don't really get it why the official channel doesn't add English titles to their videos. It is obvious how many international fans they have and youtube's search engine wouldn't show their videos if you can't write in Chinese... if I wasn't visited this forum I would never find their channel on yt. To be honest I'm not quite surprised for the outcomes of the censorship thing since the series took place and authorized in China. We'll have to wait till CJD gives us an update and what's next for the series. Sure it's quite big loss for all the fans. There are rarery LGBT shows which are SUPER AMAZING in every aspect; storylines, actors, chemistry, backing tract, etcc like ADDICTED. kmontsy Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 I am just trying to hold onto this thought " season 2 hasn't started yet, and season 1 has to end at the ep 15, and for sure CJD and her team would do something to push the season 2, the actors are gaining popularity and im sure CJD couldn't also afford to lose their momentum, her novel is now known not only to the yaio community but to those who believe that Love knows no gender thing, and shes also aware that ADDICTED is her most popular project so far, so she may consider the idea of some Fans may lost their interest and she would do something concrete about this matter... damn! im still having the sane to think up straight and less worry.. (but is still worry haha) but surprisingly, the supposedly 3 more episodes should be telecasted in about 9days, but they just released them all at once, its confusing... they were too generous if its like a gift for the fans... but we have to accept the fact that there will be no more Addicted to look forward to everyday, we just have to re-watch all the entire episodes... until season 2 comes in... i dont know when.. but im willing to wait...even if it takes forever hahaah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They mention that the suggestion of the Taiwan's fans to come to Taiwan and shoot second season there caught the crew's attention. There's still hope. They also wrote in the article that CJD confirmed that the second season could come next year with the same cast. (I hope it is a reliable source.) Well, to be honest, I found it strange that they need one year to release the second season (if they will at all). This first season was produced in, what, three months, right? That took into consideration on the new actors etc; with their current experiences, the production should be faster than the first season, not longer. Based on the novel, Addicted stories should be taking place in Winter time, that's why. But from what I know, due to the prior experience in filming Addicted during Winter, they are suffering from the cold temperature. So they are planning to begin the filming for Addicted S2 in May actually (this is the news before all the mess). But still, everything is not confirmed yet. I was wondering though, how cold is winter in China? Because the actors only used thin school jacket uniform and pants, and at home they also only used jumper (and even sleep in shirt!) without heater (at least in Yin Zi's house; Gu Hai's is much better house).
