Anyone know the background music from the start of ep 14 when gu hai piggyback luoyin who drunk and sad coz of his dad marriage?

Its frustrating and annoying with shows like this are half way through, based on novels and you dont know if they will continue.

 

We have Counter Attack, Like Love and now Addicted all with novels and even they are only partially translated (not complaining but a huge thank you to the translators that did so far). But it would be good to have the whole book in english to be able to read them through instead of will they or wont they release another season.

 

I understand the beaurocracy in country but it still leaves the fans wondering. Even if they do a season 2 or addicted since the exgirlfriend is on the scene most of season 2 Gu Hai will be either depressed or in the dog house (in trouble or ignored).

 

I would be good if shows were like love sick, yes younger audience and poorer acting but at least the series was completed, even if it was because its Taiwanese. The risk of another country making or continuing Addicted is that it looses something.

 

I dont know its just frustrating in mid air when you get to like these shows and they stop and you dont know if they will continue. Its the reason i stopped watching american dramas in australia, they would start to air a show and you start to like it, when you google the show you find out its been axed, and its like why have we just picked up a season then and why am i investing my time in watching it.

 

They are awesome shows i hope we do get to end eventually, in the meantime i am going to have to hunt and see if there are other awesome shows out there.

Question about ep 15

 

 

Well, I did not understand a word, but the scene before the bed scene made me wondering...

 

The ex b*tch calls (even her voice is so annoying I had to fast forward it because I could not listen to it anymore) and well BLY seems to be shaken while and after the conversation. Then he grabs GH, puts him on the bed and climbs on top of him. But it all looks like BLY is just looking for comfort after his ex bf was emotionally harassing him on the phone and he just wants to get the whole thing out of his system and it is less about being with GH. Maybe it sounds cruel and it is just me who has this feeling about it, but I expected this scene to be different... I also didn't read the novel so I don't know what went through BLY's head and what does he really feel at that very moment. Any thoughts?

after received phone call from SH, BLY was a bit emotional so he stayed at balcony for quite some time to calm himself. after returning to the living room, he saw GH who was drunk, slept on the sofa. BLY watched GH quietly & examined him while GH was sleeping. he pondered how contrast his demeanor is, simple yet complicated.

 

BLY realized he is a sentimentalist. although sometimes he felt like killing GH, but tonight he really want to love him tenderly. after long time watching GH sleeping, he then brought GH to the bedroom, gently put him on the bed & removed his shoes. BLY then examined GH's face. eyes closed, short but thick eyelashes, high nose, solid face & thin though lips. all this made his heart quivered & suddenly he felt the urge to kiss him.

 

BLY then kissed the sleeping GH, not even understood why he felt like this, he felt like his heart was in turmoil. BLY pried open GH's lips & smelled strong whiff of alcohol. he instantly feeling excited, insert his tongue in & began ravaging GH's mouth.

 

Suddenly GH woke up & strangled BLY's neck. but BLY didn't stop, just straightly stared at GH without any shame. BLY then tore GH's shirt roughly, pulled GH's belt & lowered the pants like a hungry wolf.

 

GH's eyes filled with passionate flame, feeling BLY's hand on him made him extremely excited. he pulled BLY under his body, then violently separated his legs. BLY tried to move his body, but completely pressured by GH’s chest.

 

“Let me fuck you?” GH’s obscene question filled BLY’s ear.

“I don’t want to.”

“Why not?” GH could feel BLY now was somehow unusual, he could feel BLY’s uneasiness.

 

At that time, suddenly the phone rang again & BLY’s body shook.

“Who is calling at a time like this?” GH reached the phone, but BLY snapped it & turned it off.

“It’s a prank call”.

 

GH didn’t pay attention to the phone. He tackled the unaware BLY fast, bounded him & nibbled his butts. BLY struggled frantically & shouted “GH, you bastard!”

“Get off?” GH smiled wantonly, “there are more badass to go…”

“Da hai….. Da hai..…” BLY suddenly cried out, his voice mixed with pleading tone, which GH had never been heard before.

 

“Yin zi, what are you afraid of?”

“I’m afraid of pain”

“So you can be afraid too?”

“Or I can try topping you?”

“Come on then, I don’t mind at all”

 

BLY just kept motionless, lying there like a dead fish. GH then whispered in his ear “Honey, it might be a bit uncomfortable, so you need to endure”. GH then put his p***s between BLY’s legs. The intense frictions made every nerve in BLY’s body burned. He felt utterly humiliated & tried to loosen himself, but GH held him tightly so he can only bite his lips & endured.

- the story was based off of one of CJD's high school classmates, but she made big changes to story/characters/etc.

- they invested about 5 million RMB for the first season, over half was from CJD

- staff members were mostly straight men in their mid-30's who had never worked with this kind of topic before, but they thought the bed scenes were funny lol

- at first CJD chose Zhouzhou to take the role of Gu Hai because she saw a photo of him with his shirt off online. (At that time, there were no actors for the roles of BLY and GH). However, once CJD saw Zhouzhou in person, she immediately thought of the words "Bai Luo Yin". Even though Zhouzhou as person is totally different from BLY, the feeling he gave CJD was exactly what CJD wanted for BLY. She decided to keep him half and hour later. Then, for GH, there was still no actor and it was almost time for them to start filming, but they suddenly found a photo of Johnny online and asked him to take the train to Beijing for an interview. At the first glance, CJD thought Johnny was exactly like GH. CJD also asked Zhouzhou to come as well and asked him if he was satisfied with Johnny and he said yes. They started working together the very next day.

- at first Johnny was like a robot (take script, ok, film, that's all), but after a while he started to warm up to his role

- Zhouzhou would often ask CJD if his performance for the bed scenes were ok or not in a joking way

- CJD thought about having Da Shu and Chen Wen play as GH&BLY at first but then thought they were too young and not strong enough for those roles

- because all of the main characters are played by new actors, the supporting actors (parents, teachers, etc) had to be very good actors in order to keep the quality of the show higher. The new actors also were able to learn more things by working together with experienced actors.

-whenever Zhouzhou and Johnny go to CJD's company/go out for events (ex. traveling to other cities for fanmeets), they always sleep together in one bed

 

Oh, and for episode 15: there's a reason why the camera zoomed up on the nail clippers so please remember them for season 2 as they will make an appearance again ahaha. (they're a matching set: one says "a husband who doesn't want to f**k his wife isn't a good husband" and the other one says "get lost!!")

So i just watched episodes 13-15 and i have to say, cut scenes aside, everything was amazing. Im glad we got the episodes and yes lots of cut scenes but we can all find the bts scenes for those until the full episodes are released.

 

My thoughts, i love that GuHai is the pushy, jealous and over protective type. He fits perfectly with Bai Louyins stubbornness. All their interactions are so cute and i find that Louyin smiles a lot more towards GuHai and is a lot warmer to him in these episodes. Wifey mode is on guys!!!!!

 

So many cockblocks in these episodes... First yangmeng , then guhais cousin, then louyins mom ... Like gtfo woman the boys just want to rub hot bodies together! And lastly Louyins exgirlfriend! Tbh u get more of a threat from her than Guhai's lulu. She feels like she would cling to Louyin and try to charm everyone around her (she is the enemy!!!)

 

As soon as we saw her standing at the door.. All i thought is girrrrlll you are going to die, GuHai is literally going to shave your head and murder you. And as soon as she sat down, i thought ... Well you just sealed your fate.

 

Really hoping for season 2 with the same cast, this show is too good to end with just 1 season. Like DjKhaled says "They dont want you to succeed!"

Basically the more views they get, the more money they make so lets watch it on their official channels. The ads also help too since they make money from turning the ads on and having their viewers see them.

 

I also guess thats why there are so many channels uploading the same shows, i.e Heroin, because we're all addicted so they cash in on the views. But yes there are some who genuinely do translations for all of us who dont understand Mandarin, after all sharing (bl series) is caring!

I am so bummed out that they got banned over such stupid reasons. Had one of the official channels saved and went to check it today only to find out everything was wiped. I'm glad that they uploaded the rest on youtube anyways. I hope the boys seriously don't get screwed over for future acting gigs (or anything really) for this ban as well as everyone else involved. A lot of stuff was discussed in this interview - the most important probably is this:

Regarding the ban/future of the series, the author said that the rest of the episodes can be viewed on international sites (i.e. YouTube), and that the DVD will be pushed out after that (whatever that means). Also, the ban is currently not affecting the production of the second series, and preparation work for season 2 is underway. They will probably start working on the second season around March, and carry on filming in May (as mentioned before).

So it seems that the ban is only affecting the current season in terms of removing the episodes.

The rest of the interview are questions regarding the actors, the series itself, the production process etc. I thought this would probably give a bit more clarification! It's probably just a waiting game at this point.''

I so wish she was not at the end of season 1, that was disappointing really considering i know where that is going. But omg the chemistry in the sex scenes of the novel is awesome thank you for translating that.

 

With all the issues over the last few episodes i highly doubt we will get another season out of this, and its a shame making it in another country looses its characters its actors as well. So if i am on the right track with how season 2 would possible, assuming there was one of course it would go something like this;

 

So we have Gu Hai, being blamed, neglected, aggressive (okay thats normal), abusive, depressed & drunk.

 

We have LouYin being regretful, nostalgic, pain ridden, upset and confused (sorry but that's his usual state).

 

Can we skip season 2 possibly for season 3 if there is one to where LouYin finally starts to actually make a move and chase down Gu Hai and make him feel as thou he is somewhat important.

 

I love the series but disappointed it ended on the note it did especially knowing where that is heading. Never mind such is life i guess.
