Raychu
Akito hurried back to the room once he was given permission to, not on all fours though, he got up and walked away. He dropped himself on the bed face first. He grumbled, ignoring what was going on down in his pants. He was too exhausted to care, just stomach hurt too much, why the hell did he do that for Hotaru again? The answer was literally unclear, he wanted to touch the other but in a way it was more than that. It was his way of getting himself affection, not good. That wasn't something he was supposed to want to get from Hotaru, even if he did give up. Blood was all he was supposed to give up for, which he didn't even receive a fair amount of, his fault for leaving so suddenly. That act was completely wrong, but he did it anyway. Why was still the question that he was asking himself. Even when he knew the answer. Shimmying his way up to a pillow, he turned onto his side. The best he could try to do was rest, sleep it off. Though he knew it would be a challenge to do so, the hunger pains don't go away, even in sleep. Instead they stay and keep getting worse, making it almost impossible to sleep with them. He had no choice, it was either try to sleep or get back ou where Hotaru is. Akito would rather try to sleep, even if he is just closing his eyes but getting no where. At least he was trying to sleep, but his stomach was going to prevent that. He could deal, he was fine. Everything was fine. He may not be able to sleep but he is at least free to move around. Nothing is preventing that. He can finally lay in a comfortable position, his wrists weren't constantly hurting him. He was good with this. The pains only were getting stronger as he tried to ignore them, brushing them off as nothing. His mind didn't want to give in so easily. He wasn't willing to go out into the other room to beg again, he just would not. He was willing to not do it for awhile, even if he was going to die. That didn't matter, he was too ashamed to even try to show his face in front of Hotaru again. Everything he did out there was completely on him. Maybe he was going insane, yeah, that was it. He was going insane for Hotaru, something he was truly trying to avoid. He sat up, he was so angry. At Hotaru, but more himself. The older vampire played games that he should've been used to, everything the other did, the newborn let it affect him so much. He undid the collar, throwing it at the door. It hit the frame, falling to the ground. He was tired of it, because Hotaru was right. He really did act like a good puppy. He hated himself for that. He was not a dog. Coffee-Tastic
What a good dog Akito is... After he picked up his undies, he went to his suitcase for something more soft and warm to put on. When the weather was warmer, he never bothered with putting on pants or shorts at come, preferring to wear nothing but a shirt and his underwear all around the house. Free. You know? Hotaru though, in the cold ass crack of winter, liked to keep as warm as possible... and also have things to eat and drink! He walked over to the kitchen, wondering what kind of warm concoction he could make to warm up his belly. He could make some tea for himself, but something else caught his sweet tooth more than that, hot chocolate mix with little marshmallows in them! Hotaru would be up all night, might as well have something sugary and tasty- BANG In the room, he heard something hit the wall, which made him narrow his eyes and look in the direction of his room while heating up milk on the stove. That mutt better not be throwing my things around in there... He was curious to know what was thrown, but not enough to go in there and start bothering Akito again. Right now, he could pretend he didn't exist. He could enjoy some alone time for once after having his dick sucked, which by the way made him feel very relaxed. It all felt right... Akito was starting to loose his mind, he was craving blood, he was craving him, he was starting to act more like the freedom-less dog he was. He hoped this wouldn't be the only time he was pleasantly surprised by Akito's actions. He'd love to also come home to him already sitting at the door, or see him masturbating on the sofa before moaning "Feed me, Hotaru...please master". But that probably wasn't going to happen. It would also be sad, because if that did ever happen, he'd have to refuse. He vowed not do go beyond using hands and tongue, and that he wasn't going to give Akito the pleasure of ever getting him off completely. Akito getting Hotaru off, that was fine. It was a good indicator that he was losing his mind, which was a good thing... With his filled, chocolaty cup, the vampire moved back into the living room, kicking his feet up on the coffee table and leaning back, drinking up in total, complete relaxation. I wonder if he's done jerking off by now... he bet not. Akito probably didn't know how to do that because he was so strict and hateful of dirty things... Whatever. It wasn't his problem. No problem was Hotaru's problem for once!
Raychu
Akito shoved his face into a pillow, ready to just scream his lungs out. His good mood could turn into a bad mood so quickly, but never easily reverse itself. This bad mood was increasingly getting worse since he couldn't get the little previous incident out of his head. Speaking of which, he really wanted to leave the room and go clean out his mouth, but then again he didn't want to even take a step outside the room. He was promised not to be bothered, though it might have been for different reasons, he's using it for getting the anger out of his system. He hated how he couldn't blame Hotaru for this, he could only point the finger at himself. All the older vampire did was allow him to suck the other off, it's not like he completely forced the newborn into it, and he hated knowing that. All the blame went on him for such a ridiculous act of desperation. Desperate. Is that what he truly was? Was he just desperate for intimacy, attention, and food? That was not the case, he knew he really didn't want the intimacy part as much, it was something he could go without. Attention on the other hand was something he felt like he needed constantly. If doing the sexual acts got him it then he was going to do them, when he wasn't thinking properly. He could deal with the begging he did, walking on all fours, but not sucking Hotaru off. That was the worst it could get for him. He really didn't enjoy just letting himself go so casually, letting his desires completely take him over. He shifted, staring at the collar on the floor. He didn't want to put it back on yet, not until he calmed down. If he kept think how he was Hotaru's property he might actually snap. Not like he did before, nothing as shameful as that. Instead he could see himself using violence on anything and everything to make himself feel more powerful. Was he going insane? He proba ably was, Hotaru was surely getting what he wanted. He was going insane, something he never thought he would say, ever. He thought he could just skim by in the world, doing what he did, it changed in an instant. He didn't mind meeting the raven haired vampire, he just wished it would've been under better circumstances. Maybe if he wasn't a vampire hunter they could've been friends, not where truly are now. This it truly horrible that a simple choice in life sets you down a dark path of a cruel fate. One he could never free himself from, it was too late, the gate has closed itself. The moment he killed Hotaru's parents, he locked that path up good and tight. Never allowed to leave again, he just had to keep walking. Hoping it'll change, hoping for the best. But not hoping too much or it'll be crushed by cruel reality.
Coffee-Tastic
Hotaru stayed on the sofa like a couch potato, drinking his hot chocolate. The silence was the kind of silence he liked the most, it wasn't stressful to sit there alone without himself or anyone else talking and no bad thoughts came to him whatsoever. After finishing his drink and putting it down, he closed his eyes in relaxation. Though outside a series of loud car honking prevented him from catching a small cat nap. He didn't mind it at first, but it was. Non. Stop. "What the hell!" His peace would not be ruined by some asshole outside who can't shut up! Hotaru got up from his comfy spot, just about to put on his coat to yell at whoever it was, but his phone began to rang. "Hello?" He asked, sounding aggravated. "Hotaru, where are you? I'm-" It was Yuu, sounding annoyed himself. Hotaru cut him off, sighing heavily, "Hold on, I'm about to yell at some guy outside for blaring his fucking car horn..." The honking stopped, "Never mind. It stopped." "Because it's me, you dumbass." He said, sounding like it was obvious. "What? Why the hell are you here? Go home, don't you have something better to do besides beg for me?" He sat back down, frowning and looking at his nails. Yuu laughed, "Who's the beggar here, Hotaru? Me or you? The person who sent me a fuck ton of text messages at 2 in the morning?" "Hah? I did?" "Do you want me to read you what you sent me or will you read your logs yourself?" He chuckled. "H... Hold on a second." Hotaru looked at his phone and clicked to see the messages he sent. Yuu, where are you? I miss you. I'm feeling so hot, Yuu, help me... I'm hungry, Yuu. Give me something tasty to eat. Yuu, its really hard right now I want Yuu. lol Yuu. Come by my house... my bed is really soft... Ok ok. Tonight then, you greedy pig? Tonight... Yuu yess please... "WHAT?" He shrieked, the sound getting Yuu to laugh, "I was drunk, man. And then fucking high as the sky! None of that is what you think. I swear." He could go back to the fuzzy memories of earlier that morning. He had been feeling hot because he was behind a heater. And then he was hungry because he got the munchies. And the hard thing he was talking about was Claire's pillow, because he remembered having to punch the shit out of it for it to get soft... He had no idea where the hell the idea of texting Yuu came from. It was actually very embarrassing because it made him sound desperate. "I can believe that, but you know what they say, Hotaru. Doing stuff like that brings out a man's inner desires, haha!" Hotaru could just imagine the smirk on his face... "But anyways, come on! I came out here, might as well come in the car. If not..." From outside, he heard even more honking. "Okay, fine!" He hissed, just to make it stop, "Give me a few minutes, I have to get ready again." Yuu chuckled, "Yeah sure. I'll be waiting." The vampire hung up the phone and groaned, "I'm going to choke you..." But if the situation was reversed, he'd be acting a lot worse to Yuu, though he was certain he'd never get a chance to see him drunk and high at the same time. He wouldn't allow Hotaru to see him like that no matter what the circumstances were. He couldn't help but start to smile a little as he got up and started to get dressed once again. It wouldn't be so bad to go out again. It would be nice to hang out a little more with his friend. Also... Aki-chan. He wondered how he'd feel about taking some more time away from home... Raychu
Akito was about to let himself try to sleep once more when he was rudely awakened by a constant car horn being honked. He covered his ears, grumbling at the annoying noise. It started to give him a headache since it wouldn't stop, seeking to go on forever even though it was only a few minutes. It ended, causing him to sigh in relief. With the horn stopped, he could clearly hear the conversation coming from the other room with Hotaru and one of his friends. He didn't know what they were talking about, but from what he gathered, the raven haired vampire was going to be off again so soon. Honestly, he newborn didn't mind this little change. He was glad to be left alone to his own thoughts, not having to deal with the noisy vampire for awhile. He assumed the other would stay away for a long while, which would drive him nuts again, this time he was prepared. The dark red eyes wandered to the collar once more, thinking he should put it back on before he was caught without it and got lectured on it. Fuck it. He didn't want to wear it today, he wasn't going to be forced. Dogs had their bad days too right? Right. He wasn't wearing that stupid collar that was making his life a living hell. He got off the bed, kicking the collar out of the room, leaning against the door frame, pursing his lips into a thin line. "Leaving again? You never seem to catch a break," he mumbled. This wasn't jealousy he was feeling, this wasn't any sort of feeling towards anyone, he was just tired of the other leaving all the time. Not because he was lonely, which he would admit he was, because he felt so odd in the silent apartment for so long. Maybe that's what sent him over the edge, he didn't have to enough sound to keep his mind off of the time. There was a line he wasn't going to cross. Akito kept his eyes off Hotaru, and he refused to leave the side of the doorframe, this was as close as he'd allow himself to get. He scratched his neck where the collar should be, irritated that he lost something he quickly grew used to having on. He remembered the last time he was fed off of, causing him to frown. If only that didn't happen, he wouldn't be in the position he's in now. He'd just have to deal with this minor complication, get over the incident. It was past now, no changing it. He just needed to keep from making the same mistakes in the future. Right, it was just a mistake from being pushed over the edge. Insanity overtook him for a moment. Coffee-Tastic
Hotaru laughed, "Yeah, its sad right? I'd say that I'll finally be able to rest easy when I'm dead, but I'm kind of immortal, haha!" It was such a good thing that Akito folded his clothes so conveniently, he took his pants again and started putting them on after his pj ones were taken off, "I don't know when I'll be back again, Aki-chan. I might come back, but odds are I won't be back again until tomorrow night after work. Dont worry," he looked over at the newborn with a mischievous grin, "I promise I won't leave you alone for as long as I did this time. Wouldn't want you dying on me, now, fufufu~" He really didn't want him dying either. When he got back, whatever time that was, he'd give him a fair enough of his blood again, just enough not to die or something... He'll make his doggy suck his finger too! That'll be adorable to see again. "Take my word for it or not. I will be back... As for you. You stop throwing things around the house, got it?" He put on a dark red long sleeved shirt, then went over check to see what in the hell Akito was kicking around. Squinting as he got closer to the other vampire, he realized the collar was off. He saw him scratching at his neck, but he had forgotten about the dog collar for a moment... He frowned and bent down to get it, "Aw shit... I almost forgot about this! Thank you, Aki-chan," he jumped to him and pat his head before turning around putting it around his neck, "I don't think I mentioned this, but this collar was actually supposed to be for me. I thought it would look better on you because you're the dog, not me. I'm more of a black panther," he grinned at the newborn with the collar holding in place, "You understand. After all you like it too, haha!" With the collar on, he quickly went to his closet to snag his sweater and coat once again. "But don't you think that this collar is staying on me. It IS yours... just got to pretend to belong to some idiot who happened to be my good friend..." Hotaru didn't know what might happen if he were to leave without the collar. Yuu probably wouldn't be surprised, but he'd also be upset or sad or both. He just wanted to make him feel a little good about himself, there was nothing wrong with it. After a few times of his friend seeing him wear it, Hotaru could just tell him that he didn't want to wear it anymore, then he could keep it since Yuu didn't actually own a dog anyways, and he could keep it on it's rightful owner's neck. Akito. "You stay, boy. Okay? No going outside or you'll go even more coco... But you know that already, right?"
Raychu
Akito shrugged, "I personally don't care what risk you come back. Preferable before I die would be nice, but I don't mind if after I died as well," he mumbled. It really wasn't his problem with the vampire came back, he didn't care if he did either. The death wouldn't be quick or painless, but it would happen. He accepted the idea of dying the first time he almost starved to death. In his mind, unlike most, he found death to be a gift. He didn't have to stay on this planet anymore and face the terrible he did. He wasn't stuck with his parents and the disillusioned relationship. He was free when he died, no more chains holding him down. A chain like Hotaru, one he couldn't break no matter how hard he tried. He was bound to Hotaru until either death or try other decided to let him free. He wished one of those two things would happen soon, he hated being here. The only way the chain will break is if Hotaru chooses to break it, he holds that ungodly power of the choice. The dark red eyes dropped to the collar a few inches from his feet, pursing his lips. The only thing he threw was the collar, which Hotaru liked to point out it belonged to Akito, as well as it belonged on him. So he technically threw his own personal possession, something he hates so much, yet he loved it. "Is that so? How mean, they must have picked it out specially for you, and here you are passing it off to me. I'd be offended if I found out," he hummed, closing his eyes, leanifn his head against the frame. It's not like the friend would find out, Hotaru would never let something like that happen. Black Panther? He saw nothing of the sort in the raven haired vampire, he really did think so highly of himself. "I don't see that in you, I just see a small black kitten. But a panther? I don't think so." He didn't just say it to annoy Hotaru, it's what he truly believed, even if the other didn't agree with that. "I already know that, you don't need to tell me something I already know. I was out on the streets starving before I came here... still starving. Since I've been through this I know what I'm supposed to do or not do," he snapped. He hated being reminded he couldn't leave the little apartment, especially when he was this hungry. He would attack someone, making him think about it could alone sadden him. He got over drinking the blood part, but he could never get over how much of an animal he has become that he needs to isolate himself from people to protect them. He hated knowing what he once used to be, is what now he needs to protect from himself. A monster walking among humans, that's what his parents used to believe. A monster who walked among humans should be exterminated, not only to protect humanity, but themselves as well. He didn't understand the meaning of it, he always went along with anything they said. He sighed, opening his eyes. "I know."
Coffee-Tastic
"Well..." He looked back at him, "If you haven't noticed, I tend to talk a lot just for the sake of it, of course I'm going to repeat a few things. No need to snap at me." He raised his chin and huffed like the black panther he was. Not a kitten. He loved kittens, but he was no kitten! With his coat wrapping on him and his red scarf on top, he reached up and decided to also put a hat on, a nice, dark grey knitted hat with a white fuzzy pom pom at the end, "You can stay here and think about what you've done... But like... Really, I'll be back." He turned his head away, taking a quick breath in and out, a smile forming on his face yet again, "Lock the door behind me would you? My prince charming outside is waiting for me and I don't want to make him wait a second more..." The sarcasm in that was more for Yuu and not to try and tease Akito. He knew it wouldn't bother him anyhow. Yuu must be thinking that one day he'll become someone like a Mr. Charming for him. Or at least something like that, because prince's don't call their intended lovers greedy pigs over text message. They always spat insults at each other, but after looking at it sober that he wasn't completely wasted, it was fucked up! "See you later, Akito," he said more normally, giving the newborn a short glance before walking out the door, having nothing else to say since he knew how much of an impatient asshole Yuu could be sometimes. When he got to the car and sat in it, the first thing he did was punch his friend in the arm, "Youre coming to my house too much nowadays." "Too much is coming by two time in three days to hang out with you? You're incredibly heartless," Yuu reached to Hotaru's scarf and lifted it up, seeing his collar still there, "... But maybe not as heartless as I thought." Hotaru put the scarf back into place and scoffed, "I wish you got a more classy looking thing, but I'll wear it for a little bit... see if it grows on me over time." Yuu smiled, "Say what you want... I'm really glad to see you're wearing it. Genuinely, Hotaru. Thank you." The vampire looked to the car window, nodding, "Welcome..." The amount of real sincerity in Yuu's voice caught him off guard. It was scary for a good friend to start actually loving him more than buddies. Glancing at him, he even saw a smile on his face that he was trying to hide. Shit... I should have refused him from the start and just got a collar for Akito myself. "Um..." how should he at least hint that he wasn't on board with this? "So, I think the guy staying over at my house is going to be around longer than I thought. Haha! He's real fun. Its nice having someone cool around all the time." "I know what you're trying to do Hotaru." "What? No you don't." he muttered back, dipping his face into his scarf, "Shut up. I'm just trying to have a conversation with my friend, lay off... And how come we aren't going anywhere? Drive already." Yuu gave him a look and faced ahead again, "I've been here a little bit, the car has to heat up more." Hotaru resorted to looking out the window again to run away from that look that Yuu gave him. That look meant he really did know what he was trying to do. Trying to get Mr. Prince off his horse by talking about another guy so he'd feel less confident. Yuu saw that and he wanted to shush Hotaru up before he tried taking away his pride. "How long were you here for?" "Maybe 30 minutes." "... It took you that long to try an call me?" "You also sent me an email about what time to be here by and how long to wait for you for." "Still. You should have at least texted me to tell me you were outside so I'd have known faster." Yuu turned off the car completely now and turned to him, "Hotaru, who's in your house?" Hotaru pulled down his scarf and looked at the brunet, hating the demanding tone he was given, "Why do you care? Don't turn off the goddamn car. Take me home and fuck me so you can feel better about yourself. I'll tell you when I need to tell you." "I don't understand why this is a big deal... if youre hooking up, just tell me. You've never held back telling me all of your hook ups before, whats different now?" "Because." Hotaru frowned leaning closer to him seriously, "Its. A. Secret. Secrets are meant to be kept that way until necessary. Start the car. So... we can," he grinned again, "Leave." Yuu hated when Hotaru was being so vague and hushy. He didn't see any reason behind it and in his eyes, there was literally nothing that he could say that could shock him to some kind of disturbing point. He could say that it was a male version of Oprah clone for all he cared. He just really didn't like the idea of Hotaru keeping secrets from him. They were supposed to be friends. "Fine." He wasn't happy either, that smile on Hotaru's face wasn't convincing to him either. Just knowing that he managed to make him angry for being pushy made him want to know even more. Starting the car and driving off, he didn't look at Hotaru again. Hotaru on the other had wasn't getting that angry. It was more like... 'he didn't know what to say so he'd rather not speak of this'. He didn't think Yuu would be making such a big deal out of it, but because he was making a big deal out of it, Hotaru was aware his curiosity would grow until it became a real problem. Sighing, he mumbled, "I'll invite you over to dinner soon, alright? You can meet him. But then you have to stop being so fucking annoying about it... Okay?" he asked. Begged nearly. "... That'd be great," he gave him a small look, this time, it was more of a thank you. He couldn't wait to see how this went.
Raychu
Akito rolled his eyes, following Hotaru with his eyes. "Yes I know that, but that's rubbing more salt in the wound, I've heard about it enough," he grumbled. Stay here and think about what he's done? That was literally the stupidest thing Hotaru could've said. But he's Hotaru, he says a lot of stupid and pointless things. "I won't be waiting up. I will, go now." This was the first time he ever wanted to get rid of the other so fast, usually he didn't want him to leave at all. He just needed a break from the other, after what he did, he could leave for weeks and the newborn wouldn't care this time. He didn't need to care, it didn't really matter to him. "Goodbye, see you when you return." With that Hotaru had left and he immediately locked the door. Sighing in relief, he was glad the other had finally left. With nothing to do now, the newborn needed to find something to entertain himself without making him too exhausted. He would clean, but the other didn't really have anywhere that was in need of a clean. Cleaning was out. He wasn't going to sleep, the pain in his stomach would prevent that. So sleeping was never even an option to begin with. He couldn't walk, he wouldn't watch the television, he couldn't clean, all he could do was sit there waiting again. Something he would refuse to do, he did it millions of times before, he didn't want to do it now. That would be waiting up for Hotaru, which he already said he wasn't. He didn't need to wait for the other, he had no reason to. It would most likely just give the raven haired vampire a bigger head then he already had with Akito. He was tired of dealing with enough of it already. He walked into the bedroom once more, opening the curtain slightly to see if Hotaru was still there. He saw a car that was turned on then turned off, assuming that was the raven haired vampire, he closed the curtain sighing. He honestly would sneak out for a walk or something to waste some of his time, but even if that wasn't Hotaru, he wouldn't take any chances. Taking a walk would be the worst idea he's had yet, but he was confident he wouldn't bite into anyone. He didn't when Hotaru came around, he stopped himself from biting a human that walked into the apartment, he didn't even touch any of the blood when Hotaru flung it at him. He had enough self control for a walk, but he decided against it. If Hotaru found out, he didn't even want to think of what could happen.
Coffee-Tastic
Hotaru was glad to have brought up that proposition for Yuu, because even though he could still tell that he wasn't happy that there was still some guy at his house and wouldn't tell him directly who he was or why he was there. He couldn't give him the same excuse he gave to Claire because Yuu knew him a lot better than she did. He wished it was that easy. Yuu was just a more complicated person than she was. Hotaru wasn't even sure if it was a good idea to do this, Yuu might ask bombarding questions and Akito would be under some internal stress for having a human around... and that, again, meant he'd have to give Akito a blood loan, giving him blood in order to ease the hunger pains and then drinking his blood again to take it back. It was cruel to do that wasn't it? Letting Akito feel better, have his cravings for blood satisfied, making him think that it'll be all okay, but then draining him again so he could feel like utter shit. Hotaru didn't personally like that. It was really cruel, but this was for a good cause. To get Yuu to stop being so curious. Would Akito mind that a second time and with an actual human there? He'd have to bring it up when he got back. Similar routines happened at Yuu's place, it was relaxing after the tension eased down. He really did end up sleeping at his friend's house, the brunet waking him up at a good time for work... he got to the bar early and managed to still look good despite not changing out of his clothes, but serving and chatting with people all night, he got extremely, extremely tired. Hotaru had to walk back home like the usual, the cold making his whole body feel stiff as a rock. Getting to his front door, he tried to put in the keys to his mailbox in the lock two times before using the right key. He came in, looking like a tired mess, "Aki-chaaan." he said, but it had a lot less spark in it than the previous day.
Raychu
Akito stayed in the room the entire time waiting. He laid down, not sleeping, but letting his body get a fair rest. He wasn't alone, but he was tired of the silence. He'd rather have Hotaru there to constantly bug and bother him, it at least filled the overly quiet air that he was surrounded in. Though he didn't really wait up for the other male, he didn't even expect him home when he did return. He thought that the other would be home the same time when he went out before. He got off the bed, walking out of the room. "You look like shit," he words just flying out of his mouth. The other man looked so tired, but it was his own fault for overdoing it. He didn't really mean what he said as an insult, Hotaru most likely knew that. The newborn hoped he did at least. The newborn plopped on the couch, sighing. "I'm not in the mood to beg right now, can't I just ask for some blood? Don't answer that, never mind." He really was hungry, but he was too exhausted to go through the previous incident once more. He already greeted the other in a ruder way than he should've. Not like he meant to be rude, he was just being honest about what he was seeing. Then he decided against it, he could wait longer. Hotaru didn't seem to be in shape for being fed off of, plus, he might already have decided against it as well. The newborn would just wait longer, he may be on the brink of death but he didn't care, he was fine with it. "Did you have fun?" He really could've cared less, he was just trying to make subtle conversation with the other to fill the silence in the room. "No details though, I really could care less for those," he mumbled. He didn't know why he was attempting to try so hard with making conversation, it didn't matter much to him. He really wasn't in the mood for it either. He'd rather be back in the room doing nothing, yet he couldn't stand the quiet any longer. He knew Hotaru would talk, so he was going to take advantage of it, it was convenient to listen to the other for once, even if he didn't always enjoy what the raven haired vampire said. He was still willing to find some way to fill the silence. He hated it, it made him think. He didn't want to think right now.
Coffee-Tastic
"Wow thanks," he rolled his eyes and went to the closet as usual after coming back home. He knew he must look like shit, being tired and still cold to the bone, but he didn't need to hear it come out of Akito's mouth. Though, Hotaru thought that it was a dosage of his own medicine. But he didn't mind. It was true, he looked like shit. He knew he'd sleep well and wake up at a decent time tomorrow, not like yesterday where he woke up when the sun was already down. Dammit. Since the next day of work was on Friday, a busy as fuck day, he didn't think he could have that get together thing with all three of them done after that. He'd pray that Yuu was busy tomorrow. Hotaru took off the collar last, tossing it to Akito, "I had tons of fun actually... But I'm too tired to go into the details anyways... Put that on while I change. I might let you drink in the morning, Akito. Depending on the plans... You might need it." He sighed, taking off his shirt and dropping it on the floor while he grabbed a new one, "One of my friends might cause problems. The one who came inside the other day... We're going to have dinner together here." He chuckled, "And no. I'm not joking... I'll feed you enough where having him around won't bother you. It'll be fine." Which meant that he'd be the one squirming around at the smell of his friend. He just had more faith in himself than Akito. "Grrg..." He groaned because looking at Akito, he realized that his eyes were red and his fangs were still pointy. Hotaru already gave the excuse of having his teeth modified to look like fangs, and that his eyes were just special contact lens, but to have Akito be the same way? Yuu wouldn't find that normal, not without questions. Hotaru needed to find a good excuse for having Akito here and him looking this way, just like him. Obviously, he couldn't just say "oh yo, by the way, were vampires lol". He'd figure it out. He's been a good liar for most of his life anyways. Not having all these things though through properly, he thought that maybe he shouldn't have told Akito yet.... "We'll talk about how things go tomorrow. I'm being to bed. My bed." Raychu
Akito shrugged, he truly wasn't trying to be a dick about it, he was just being blunt. A poor trait of his that people rarely seem to like, it's not his problem. He knew how he meant to say it, that's all that mattered to him. "I'm a gentleman, I know," he spoke softly. He really didn't seem to see the problem with saying the other looked like shit, they both knew he did. The newborn was just saying what they both already knew, it wasn't that big of a deal. It just wasn't something he'd even considering apologizing for, maybe that's why people never liked him. He was too blunt. It was a trait of his fathers passed onto him, he's Brent hat way all his life. He saw no need to change it now, it was who he was. People could get over it, that's just how life worked. Even if he did sound like a complete dick about it. Catching the collar, he narrowed his eyes. He truly didn't want to wear the stupid piece of material that the other forced him into. He put it back on his neck, making sure it wasn't too tight around. His eyes widened, before he furrowed his eyebrows, obviously upset that someone is going to be coming in once more. He didn't mind not getting food, he could wait more, that was no problem for him. But for a human to come in, that was something he couldn't do. He had confidence in himself, yet he didn't. He couldn't be extremely sure he wouldn't bite the human. "I refuse, I won't do it. I'll stay in your room, I refuse to interact with the your friend. No, not doing it," he argued. He immediately became like a small child not getting his way. "You can't force me into this one Hotaru, I'm not doing it." His lips became a thin line, he was extremely upset about this. He minded this, he minded it a lot. He huffed and puffed, expressing his dislike towards this. He usually didn't care what Hotaru really did without him knowing, but this one crossed that line. He cared for this one, a lot. This was something the other should've made sure he was okay on, but he didn't care for the newborn's feelings. "No, I want to talk about this now. Don't drop the damn bombshell then just go to sleep, this is not okay," he snapped again.
Coffee-Tastic
"You're being a whiny in right now, you know that?" He sighed, because he wasn't up to fully express how unreasonable Akito was being. There was no need for it. Because he still felt that way, he started going to his room, his eyes already closing with the promise of his soft bed, "It's fine, I swear. I'll give you a bunch of blood before he comes over and it'll be just fine... Afterwards, I'll just drink back the blood I gave you so it'll be like nothing happened." Hotaru stopped at the door and looked at him, "That's all I'm say'n, Akito. If you really do have any complaints, find some paper, there's some pens in one of the kitchen drawers, and then write out your complaints to me so I can read them tomorrow. Night." He turned back into his room and fell on his bed. Akito didn't have a choice here, what was he talking about? It was stupid of him to think he could just hide away in the room and then Hotaru would find it impoooosible to get him out. The whole thing might even last an hour and a half maybe. Or until Yuu got bored... The older vampire would feed the newborn right before it, that would be enough... Of course newborns were practically always hungry, but if he drank a lot, it would be fine. Fine fine fine. He'll be fine! This whole problems was from Akito just being unconfident and childish. Yuu needed to see Akito, that's what he wanted, and to know who he was. Then he'd stop. If he kept things from this guy, Yuu would probably try to come by the house and get in, or he'd do something stupid like stay in front of the door until Hotaru came back and let him in. He was very stubborn and when he wanted something, he'd do anything to get it. The vampire felt like he was a little crazy like that.
Raychu
Akito clicked his tongue, his mood only getting worse as the other brushed him off. This was not going to be a one sided thing that he had to follow. He wasn't going to do it, he would kick and scream before it happened. He'd do everything in his power to not do such a thing. The worst part had to be he was going to get blood just to have it be ripped away from him, that wasn't going to happen. This is one of the most cruelest things Hotaru could have done, something he wouldn't so easily accept for once in his life with the other. Him and humans clashed, they wouldn't work together. It was as if the raven haired vampire wanted to gamble this mysterious friends life, wanting to roll the dice on whether or not the newborn would mentally snap. Would he bite or not? Would be behave or not? Was he capable of doing this or not? Many questions could be asked, none of them answered. He could have only so much self-confidence when he knew the reality of the situation. "It's not happening Hotaru! This is something I'm not doing, no matter what you throw at me!" He yelled as the other walked into the room. He truly was showing how he wasn't going to bend on it. He would write the letter but it's useless, just a slip of paper that could easily be thrown away without being read. His words meant so much more, it wasn't like he was actually going to sleep, that wouldn't happen with the stomach pains. He didn't care who this friend was, what he wanted, or the purpose for this dinner, Akito didn't want to do it. Therefore, everyone else would get the fuck over it, he wasn't going to be anywhere near a human. Hotaru had plenty of control over him, his actions, and his life itself, but he had no control over whether or not forcing the newborn worked. Right now, that was not the case. He was not going to let himself be forced, even if something good or bad comes out of it. It's not worth it to him. The dark red eyes closed, he was actually feeling exhausted enough to sleep through the pain. He was worried, he really didn't want to be forced into this. Why would Hotaru even put him through this anyway? Why was it so important to have dinner with his friend? It's not like Akito personally knew them, that didn't want to make him meet the mysterious person either. He had his own life to live, he didn't need another person judging him like the raven haired already did. But he didn't stand not knowing why they were there, if it wasn't anything important, it gave him more of a reason to refuse doing such a ridiculous thing. Coffee-Tastic
"You're going to have to get used to doing things you don't like." He mumbled back illegibly in his blankets before moving up to a pillow and getting under. Hotaru would feel bad about this, he didn't make it seem like he was, but he told Yuu that they'd do this, he can't take it back unless he wanted his human friend to ask more questions. He'd love to know why he was unable to come over for this long and he'd want to ask Akito himself. Why did his friend have to be so jealous? How many times did he have to show that he couldn't ever be owned by anyone? Hotaru guessed he showed a little ease on that by accepting the collar... Dammit. He shouldn't have been so nice. The vampire always rejected other people and eventually left everyone he met after a few years, but that didn't mean people didn't grow on him. Yuu and him were great friends, Hotaru just wanted him to stop being annoying and start being cool with each other again. Hotaru sighed to himself, letting go of those worries for the morning and falling deep asleep in a matter of a few, short minutes. Warm soft, a gentle smell soothing him into a slumber, he wished he could go back to sleeping in his bed. Nothing stopped him from doing it now, but still, he just let Akito stay in it. There were no more cuffs and he hadn't gotten the chance to get anything else to restrain Aki, so he could sleep on the sofa, like he'd be forced to do today. Hotaru's actions sometimes didn't connect to logic, he knew that too, yet he quite often didn't do anything about it. He kept insisting that himself should be on the couch, giving Akito his comfy bed. It was possible it was still his inner softness and hospitality letting him stay there. It was farthest room from the front door so he'd be father away from anyone who might burst in, like what Yuu had done, but the odds of that happening were not high again. If Akito weren't slowly losing his sanity, Hotaru would say he still wasn't doing right. In as much comforts as he was in, the older vampire didn't have a very nice dream. It was back to that night, when he was surrounded by the blood of his family, but this time their bodies weren't there, but he wasn't alone. Sitting in a pool of blood that was not his own, he looked behind him and saw Akito there with a wide, psychotic grin on his face with bloody hands. He laughed at him while he cried, the dream Akito came closer and kicked him down into the blood, growling with an evil smirk, "I did this. I did this," he laughed, "And it was fun..." His face was soaked with blood that was still warm, shutting his eyes, the vampire whimpered, "No... Why...!" The hunter crushed on his head with his foot, keeping him in the blood, responding, "Doing the lord's work is fun, Hotaru... Getting rid of this disease. You're a disease." "You're a disease." That line wasn't from Akito, it was a hunter he came across a long time ago. So long ago he could barely remember the face, but those words are what he remembered, connecting that woke up the vampire from his sleep, instinctually wiping his face of the blood he thought was there. Yeah, his face was wet and warm, but it was just stupid tears. He groaned and wiped his face, sitting up and reaching for a tissue, "Mother fucking..." It was so annoying to do this... At least this was in the privacy in his own room and not when he was at Claire's house or Yuu's. After dealing with his face, he looked at the time, which read a pleasant 10:46 in the morning. He didn't sleep the whole day away this time! Milestone reached. But now he had to figure out the other thing. He brushed his hair and redid his low hair tie and came out of the room, yawning a little. Hotaru was focusing a lot on the intake of blood Akito would get, but it was also getting time for him to drink... Later.
Raychu
Akita was highly unhappy about this, but he was sure nothing was going to change. He was sure Hotaru would somehow doc him into the dinner. He didn't want to do it, that was obvious. He would fight back what he could, but at the end of the day there wasn't much he was going to be able to do about it. Hotaru was dead serious about this, nothing seemed like it would change his mind. No complaint made from the newborn seemed like it would be able to change what was going to happen, he was stuck in this one, unable to get out. Even if he fought back with all he had, Hotaru would still bring his friend over, the brunette would still have to eat to not end up biting them, and then he'd get that blood he drank, be sucked out of him once more. Unfair is what Hotaru was being. The newborn truly hated when he did that, it literally made him feel like death. Not that his body had much to fight on for anymore. There was no sleep that night. A few catnaps were taken here and there, but he was wide awake even as he slept, aware of every little thing around him. When a pain would shoot through his stomach, he'd wake up, then he'd go back to bed when it stopped, and repeated this multiple times. The pain was too much for him to handle this long, his body felt like it was shutting down like it did once before when he was starving. He felt as if he couldn't move anymore, the most he could do was shift his position on the couch, it took too much energy from him to do anything else. If he looked at the bright side of this deal, he'd get to eat, they would make this better. But then again, he'd be right back into this position once Hotaru took the blood back. Was this another loan, taken back with interest? How horrible. Hotaru was just horrible. Seeing the male walk out so early shocked Akito, and it wasn't that clear. He didn't even have any energy to make facial expressions. He saw that the other male was awake, so he was fine with not talking or anything. He closed his eyes again, his breathing slowing. Having to wait even longer was a hell for him, but he wouldn't complain about it. It could be a lot worse. He just had to get over how little energy he had, he didn't even feel like conversation. He winced when pain would shoot through him, causing him to clutch his stomach with the little amount of strength he had. He tried to keep his wanting food under control, but it's kind of hard when you are on the verge of death and your body needs something right away. "Please tell me I'm going to be fed soon," he mumbled.
Coffee-Tastic
"You look like shit, Akito," he said, smirking a little and walked over to his phone that he left on the coffee table when he had changed. It felt nice to return the casual insult, but really, he did look like shit. There were dark circles under his eyes, his skin was as pale as a ghost and he looked like he couldn't hold on for much longer. He read a message left on his phone from Yuu, which simply asked when he could come over... If he were smart, he would delay it even if that would make Yuu grow more anxious and annoying so that he could feed himself, but he just woke up. His mind wasn't right just yet. Hotaru text back that he could come over around 10. And that was done. It was best to get it over with as fast as possible anyways. He cleared his throat and crossed his legs, looking at Akito as he raised his hand to him and turned it over to his wrist, "His name is Yuu, he's going to be here tonight and you will be having dinner with us... Have some blood now. Some... I'll give you more when it's necessary." He'd have to go out to the supermarket and get some ingredients for dinner... He hasn't cooked in a while, but he could possibly have rice and curry made. If it comes out tasting like shit, he'll just buy some pizza and apologize that he couldn't make something homemade... He remembered the time when people had to kill animals and grow their own food. It was so barbaric compared to now, he liked that. He couldn't wait for the day you could download a chocolate cake... Yum. "You just look, like... Really bad. It'll get your head more leveled and by the time I give you more, hopefully you'll be more... Not an asshole. It honestly won't be so bad, I wish you'd just trust me." He turned his head away so he wouldn't have to look and have he chance of getting a little excited. "I feel like since you both are kinda dicks, you'll clash at each each other," Hotaru was talking, yet again, for the sake of just talking. "So don't talk too much, I'll do most of the talking and say that you're just a recluse and you don't like meeting new people."
Raychu
Akito laughed softly at the comment made, clutching his stomach from the pain it caused. "Ow, ow. You must feel great being able to give that insult back. I already knew that though," he said, as he opened his eyes, sitting up properly. He must really look bad, but that wasn't his doing. He wasn't being fed, anyone would look like shit when they were hungry. Humans and vampires alike. "I feel like it too." He rubbed his eyes, wanting to get proper sleep. He was going without sleep or food, double whammy there. His body was aching and tense, his stomach with the unbearable pain, anyone would feel like shit. Though, he wasn't new to this feeling so it was somewhat more bearable to him then most. He purposely went through this the first time so he could die, that didn't turn out very well for him, Hotaru found him. Now he was being forced into starvation and kept from society. A shiver ran down his spine as he thought of this. Hotaru was quite a cruel person. The wrist was inviting, he did want to bite it, but he wanted to get his two cents in as well. He pushed the wrist away for a bit, deciding he wanted to talk instead. "I never agreed to this Hotaru. I don't see why I have to eat with you guys. I don't know him, I don't care for him, it's not my problem. So why the hell am I going to be dining with you two?" He was confused, didn't Hotaru want him to keep from humans, especially his friends? Why all of a sudden, was he going to be having dinner with one of them. He really didn't want to do this. He wanted to fight it as much as possible. He knew he wasn't going to get anywhere, but he wanted answers as well. He had a right to know, especially when he was the one needing the food badly and bringing in a human is just asking for him to bite them. He didn't think he could handle it, at least if he hid in the room, he had more control over himself than when he's right near them. Grabbing the wrist, bringing it to his mouth, he was happy with the piece he said, until Hotaru decided to go and say something crazy, which wasn't uncommon for the guy. He stopped his motions, frowning at the other. "I'm not promising the attitude is going to change. I'm not happy with being forced into this, that's obvious. So I'll be even more of an asshole around him. But trusting you? No. Trust means you would've confirmed with me first that I was even okay with this. I'm not going to trust you," he snapped. He was not going to be told to trust someone who was literally bringing his biggest fear and his worst enemy into the apartment to eat dinner with them. He couldn't bring himself to be around humans for that damn reason of needing to feed. It wasn't fair, this whole thing wasn't fair. "I was already planning on not talking, I don't need to hear it from you." He finally hit his fangs into the wrist, drinking the blood.
Coffee-Tastic
Hotaru winced just a little from the bite, only because he wasn't looking so he didn't know when to expect it. Hearing that Akito wasn't going to be the best behaved person tonight, he frowned and sighed softly. He could be as formal and neutral tempered as he wanted, but to expect him to be "its all okay Hotaru, I'll be fine!" Was just stupid. He did wish he would just go along with it a little bit more than none. "I'm doing this because when he came over and found out there was another guy here, he got jealous, but more than that, he was curious. I haven't told him anything about you because I didn't know what to say, so to make him stop pressing it on me, I set this thing up," his phone vibrated with a new message, "Curiosity can kill the cat. I just really don't want him to pry things out of this sick relationship we have here... It'll just be this, I promise. No more people will be coming here." And Yuu wouldn't be coming a second time, he'd make sure that didn't happen. He'd be a lot more blunt with him or else Akito would... He couldn't actually do anything about what he did, but the brunet would totally be pissed. Hotaru's mission of keeping him here was for torture, not to make him angry. But that wasn't right either... If he was angry, he was afraid he wouldn't be so cooperative anymore. Akito already had his moments of snapping at him, if he was strictly a bad dog, it wouldn't be as easy for him to be okay with... Er, he wasn't sure. Hotaru just rather have Akito stay like this than constantly be mad at him. Could he even do that? Starving and feeling weak, the newborn couldn't possibly want to start fights with him. "10 it is Hotaru. See you then.~" the message read. He didn't see a need to reply to that, so he put the screen to sleep and put it down, patting Akito's head, starting to actually feel the blood loss, "Alright, that's enough for now... You'll get more when it's time." Hotaru finally looked at him, his face straight and his smile still sunken like a ship. As for what he told Yuu when he got there why he was here, Hotaru might just go for the idea Akito and him met online because they both had similar 'procedures' of looking like vampires. And because Akito lost his apartment, he ended up living with him for a while. Sounded good for now, he hoped Yuu'd buy it.
Raychu
Akito stopped when the other told him to, but not before he hit harder into the wrist, pulling off. He pushed the wrist away from himself, wiping off any blood that formed on his lips from the childish move. He didn't care that he could've hurt the other either, that was his threat. A threat that his friend could end up in the same position tonight if Hotaru didn't take extra precautions of the situation he was forcing his dog into. If he was going to be treated like one, he was going to start who with traits like them. He wouldn't be okay with strangers, like ones that he could potentially try to kill for food. That one thing didn't seem to go through Hotaru's head, he seemed to just believe with enough blood, the newborn would be fine. The brunette however, thought differently. He didn't think as positive as the raven haired did. "It's still not my problem is it? I still don't have to comply if I really don't want to do so. He's your jealous friend, not mine. I personally don't care either way. So in the end, he's yours alone to deal with. I have no reason to agree to help you out with his curiosity about what's going on here," his tone still snappy. He was going to get his message across somehow. If all this was, was jealous and curiosity, then he really didn't want to do this. He had no reason to interact with the guy, it wasn't his problem. Never would be. Hotaru just needed to tell him that it wasn't going to happen, Akito wasn't willing to do it, that was that. He still had his rights to pick and choose what he truly did and didn't want to do. He's been extremely complaint with Hotaru from day one, always willing to do things for him. This was the one thing he truly didn't want to do, the newborn deserved a break for one thing. This should be that one thing. "It's not my problem to deal with Hotaru. It's not going to happen, sorry to disappoint you, but this is something I'm not bending on," he spoke in a calmer tone. He got up, storming off into the room, closing the door. He was being really bratty, even storming off into the other's room. But he had enough blood in him that the pain was gone, nonexistent. He was talking this chance to sleep off his frustration. Maybe when he woke up he'd be more willing to think about it, but not now. He was too tired, too frustrated for not even getting some kind of input. He got on the bed, closing his eyes. Hotaru better not bother him, or that thinking about it after he wakes up will be thrown out the window. He wanted to sleep, catch up on everyday he missed due to the hunger pains. Now that they were gone, his irritation was slowly dying. Maybe he was just acting like a dick because he was tired and hungry, who knows.
Coffee-Tastic
"Not my problem to deal with Hotaru" The vampire mumbled Akito's words mockingly while rubbing his wrist. He didn't have to make his wrist hurt like that. That was probably the dickiest thing he's done intentionally, that son of a bitch... Hotaru sucked his teeth, getting up to scavenge for clothes in his bag he hasn't worn yet and headed off to take a hot, long shower. There was no rush, after all the day had just begun and he had a long time to get things ready, Akito shooing away might have actually make him get things done faster because he wouldn't be around to distract him. Still, he had better change his attitude towards this or else he wouldn't have good patience. Akito cooperating here would be way more helpful than if it was forced. After an hour in the bath, he liked taking long showers to make sure he was squeaky clean, getting dressed, Hotaru took his keys and left the apartment. Akito never came out of the room and he didn't feel like he needed to go in and tell him where or what he was doing, he newborn wouldn't care or he probably was sleeping anyways... It wasn't as bitter outside as the other days, so the vampire was thankful for the weather that his walk to the supermarket wasn't too bad. Still cold and he'd rather it not be, but alright. "Potatoes, onions, carrots..." He muttered to himself avoiding crowded isles and routes in the store. Being here and starting to feel his mouth water, he felt like he should have given Akito his blood when he came back. His hunger wasn't painful, but it definitely was annoying. It was even worse when a woman next to him suddenly let out a small gasp and a groan, Hotaru smelling blood. On vampiric instinct, he turned his head to the woman and saw how she cut her finger on her shopping list. Hotaru frowned with a ticked off look and went away. Wow. Thanks lady. He licked his lips, that crave getting stronger. That certainly wasn't fair. He could have been fine the whole time, but actually smelling blood made it a lot worse. Possibly the best part was that he never pulled anyone to the side in any kind of dark place like the clique vampire would when he was hungry, Hotaru only did it when it was fully safe. His sleeping friends were victums, his drunk friends were victums, and nobody else by his own rules. Going back home with all of the ingredients for the dinner with some agitation in him, Hotaru shortly had himself relaxing again on his sofa with the television on another animal channel, this time the volume was normal. He didn't want Akito getting even more mad at him for something dumb like this. Hotaru lazed there, eventually following along with his dog's idea of sleeping. And for him, who normally slept a lot, he was making up for extra hours of sleep. His phone was right on his lap, an alarm set for an hour and a half before 10. It should be just enough time if he did actually end up sleeping for that long. In his sleep, his stomach growled low once. When this whole thing was over, he'd just go along with Yuu back to his place. The brunet would apologize for being jealous of Akito, they'll drink, he'll get drunk and then he could feed off of him some.
Raychu
Akito slept most of the time, periodically waking up through his nightmares. They were the same old thing, his parents disappointment, the blood on his hands from the killings, and so many others. The newest one had to be himself dying by the hands of a vampire hunter. A fitting end for someone like him. He would wake up in sweats, beat high heavily, not wanting to go back to sleep, but he would force himself to go back into his dream world. He needed to waste time and he didn't want to go out and have to deal with Hotaru yet. He was still iffy on what he was planning to do, whether he would cooperate easily or not, and if he was even willing to do it at all. He didn't want to have to think about it so soon either, that meant he would have to deal with the guilt he had from biting the other deliberately. It really was a childish move, one that was uncalled for and didn't need to be done. He would've been just fine snapping at the other than showing his irritation from aggression. That was something he wasn't going to do anymore, or at least he told himself so. The sound of the phone's alarm rang through the room, causing the newborn's eyes to open, squinting at the sudden light that invaded his eyes. Unlike the television noise where he could easily sleep through it, the alarm was too annoying for him to ignore. He rolled over, groaning at the annoying sound that was finally turned off. He would've forced himself back to sleep, but he got enough to reenergize him. He no longer felt like shut, hoping he didn't look like it anymore either. He got sleep and good, the main things he needed that were making him so irritable. He wasn't trying to be such an asshole to the other all the time, but he just in a foul mood from not getting what he wanted and needed. Anyone would be in the same kind of mood, the hunger pains already set him in a bad mood, taking away his sleep on top of that only made his mood worse. Now he felt like he was better, ready to actually think this over properly. Nothing would benefit him, nothing good would come out of this for him like it would for Hotaru. Akito didn't even get to keep the blood he drank, this was just another loan, it'd be taken back when the whole deal was over. How did that motivate anyone to do something they didn't want to do? It surely wouldn't make the newborn do anything. It wasn't fair, this was only because Hotaru needed the guy off his back, the brunette didn't need to do anything to help him with that. But he felt obligated to do so anyway. All he had to do was sit and the table and eat with them right? Barely any talking had to be done from his side, it was fair enough for him to agree to, though he really wished he got something out of this. Being able to keep the blood he drank would've been enough, but Hotaru most likely wouldn't agree to that. He got up, opening the door and walking out of the room after hours of being himself in there to sleep. He yawned, street high his arms up. "Hey, Hotaru, I'll do the stupid dinner. Just tell me what I need to do or say and I'll do it," he mumbled softly.
Coffee-Tastic
He had to admit, he shouldn't have slept the entire time, but the annoying feeling in his stomach didn't make it admirable to stay up when he had opened his eyes maybe a few hours ago. Was that how Akito was like? Having nothing to do besides sleep or else you'd just stay hungry? Obviously... Right? As far as Hotaru knew, the only pass time Akito did was sleep. The only thing he did was sleep. How depressing! What's exactly what he deserves for being a monster. Though actually... The word monster would be what he saw in his dream: a hunter who enjoyed killing vampires and were sick in the head, but Hotaru honestly couldn't imagine Akito being like that, not even if he did kill his family period. The Akito in his dream shouldn't even be considered Akito from how different the real one was in comparison. But then what was he? The newborn had still killed his parents and there was blood on his hands. Hotaru sighed and rubbed his forehead, which was when Akito came out of he room and offered to make the dinner. Rather, he insisted by the way he worded it. "That's a genuine surprise," he put his hand down and got up, "Considering how you were earlier... But that's good. Though no, I'll do it, because there's no point in making a curry and rice dinner you won't be apart of," smiling, he raised one of his eyebrows, "Unleeeess... you will be joining us without a fight? In that case I'll say you can help if you aren't a horrible cooker." Somehow Hotaru believed that Akito was on some level of skill in a kitchen. He just had that kind of personality to him, where he didn't look like he could take a wife role of cooking dinner, but then ends up making something crazy like a five layered lasagna in under an hour. But he could be wrong. He could be the kind to burn eggs to a crisp for all he knew. Blood and some rest, that seemed to make the newborn more leveled like he thought, but he had to say the childish pouting Akito had done was kinda cute, made him want to pinch his cheeks and hiss at him to behave or else he'll get punished again.... The dog snapping at him, Hotaru could deal without.
Raychu
Earlier was something he didn't even want to discuss, that was just plain silly for him to do. He even hit the over because he was upset instead of remaking calm and civil, he was just stupid and immature for that. "Earlier... Sorry for biting you, that was... I don't even know why I actually did it," he mumbled, his voice growing quieter. He didn't remember if he even had a purpose for it besides inflicting pain on the other which he normally wouldn't even try to do. He wasn't that kind of person, what was the point for even doing that? None. He did it to do it all because he was upset. If he had something to justify it before, he had no idea what that was now. He hit Hotaru, that was wrong, he shouldn't have done so. Akito didn't need to overthink the situation, he just needed to properly apologize for it. If the raven haired accepted it or not was up to him, at least the newborn said something then instead of ignoring that he actually did bite the other. Which was still stupid of him, he didn't actually need to do so. "I'll be joining, I just need to sit there and oocasionally answer, right? It doesn't sound as bad as I was trying to make it out to be. I guess I was just in a really bad mood," he spoke louder, walking into the kitchen. "I was a human before Hotaru, I know how to cook." He used to cook for his family all the time, he was required to learn. He didn't even have a choice, he had to learn as soon as possible so he wasn't weighing everyone down, having to cook for him. He never got any special treatment in life, sometimes he envied the people who did. He had nothing from his parents that was memorable, that was a lie, he had nothing good that was memorable. He had the scars that his dad caused making him go on hunts with him, he had many things that were horrible for him to remember. How did he even survive around them that long? He must have had an amazing tolerance around them. He barely puts up with Hotaru, it was amazing he could put up with his parents his entire life. A stinging pain went into his heart as he remembered his past. Even if it was bad, he still missed it. He missed being able to do so as he pleases. He wasn't as free as he liked to make it seem, instead he was controlled by his parents, his ever move studied for error. But he still missed being able to talk with them, even if none of them truly ever got along. It was still his home, the place he grew up in, he had an attachment to it. Not so much to them as much as the house. Now he was with Hotaru as a vampire. He never thought reminding himself that he was once human could stab at him so much. When Hotaru did it, he didn't really care. When he, himself did it, it felt like the weight of the world was just dropped on him, his heart heavy with the longing emotions. "Dammit, why do I have to start thinking of them now," he muttered under his breath. This didn't seem like it was going to be very fun for him if he didn't get the past off his mind.
