Raychu
Ryota heard the boy choose the kiss instead of talking about what happened the prior night. He chuckled at how the boy's voice was different from his face. He looked indifferent but he was a stuttering mess. It truly was a sight to see. "Of course, the omelette would be first, feeding you and myself is my first priority over some silly kiss," he said laughing it off. He never saw kisses as big deals, he didn't even care if it was on the lips or not. He may have said on the lips but he didn't want to push the boy too far and traumatize him. He at that moment was just spouting random things that came to the top of his head. But what was he supposed to do? Take it back? Absolutely not, he said what he said and that was that. Ryota felt slightly awkward with Sae being in the kitchen with him, he'd rather be alone when cooking. The boy could easily start teasing him for being so neat and clean. He always wanted to look good in front of his guests and having a sparkly clean house was his way most of the time, but he really hated messes anyhow. It irritated him seeing so many slobs living in his apartment building. They had a roof over their heads and never bothered to care for it. Did they even deserve the home if they couldn't even properly care for it? Ridiculous. Do you actually know how to cook? Sae asked in an uncertain tone. He assumed it was how everything looked so new and unused. When he cooked it was rarely in his own kitchen, it was usually at other people's houses. If the stove caught on fire it was their house going down, not his. He shrugged, smiling, "I know my basics. I can't make fancy meals but I can surely do a simple one like omelettes. I have to make a living for myself somehow, learning to cook was a life skill I needed to survive," he said in a neutral tone. He wasn't the most confident in his cooking but he did know he could make simple meals. His dad was a much better cook than he was, but he never got to learn from the master. He never had time with the old fart. Ryota opened the fridge seeing he did have fresh eggs and cheese. Score. He pulled them out, setting them on the counter. He kept look ugh over his shoulder at Sae, still feeling I awkward having the younger boy in the kitchen with him. He was t sure what to do or say next, just wanting to focus on making fluffy omelettes so the boy woudotn tease him about his cooking. He went to the sink, washing his hands, scrubbing them longer than he needed to, zoning out. It was extremely weird having someone in his kitchen for the first time. He usually and them wait in the living room but he didn't want to seem like he was being pushy.
AmaryllisRose
Humming, Sae looked around the kitchen as Ryota prepared the ingredients for a simple omelette. Feeling a bit awkward, Sae wondered what to do. Looking around, Sae saw many plants that were placed in strategic positions for access to sunlight. "Do you like plants, Ryota?" He does seem very nature friendly. Walking closer to one, he touched a leaf with the tip of his fingers. The leaf was thin, and a had a waxy feel to it. "What's this? It smells really aromatic." Sae examined the other plants. One of them had a flower that was a vibrant violet. Its many petals feathered out from a tight bud in the center, and Sae poked it, wondering if it was as fragile as it looked. A petal drifted off. "A-ack. Oops, sorry Ryota, I think I broke your flower... should I do something, like buy you a new one?" Sae apologetically offered to replace the flower. Mmm, something smells good... Raychu
Root looked behind him when Sae had asked if he liked flowers. "Yeah, they are nice," his tone calm. He loved his flowers because they always grew into the epitome of beauty. They were beautiful on the inside and out. He never felt embarrassed when people would see his collection of flowers, it wasn't their life choice. Usually in the end they saw him as some sweet kind of guy because of how girly they were. There was a time a girl asked for one of his flowers and he got upset. The girl told him to stop being a baby about a useless plant and how he should think of women first. He was irked by the fact she called a plant useless when it had so many uses in life she'd never know about. So he ended kicking the girl out of his apartment telling her to never show her face. "That's my begonia, it's one of the rarer frangrenced onces. It's a pretty color, don't you think," Ryota asked, a smile spreading across his cheeks. He turned back to preparing the food. He mixed the eggs in a bowl, putting the liquid on a frying pan. He watched the egg begin to harden and he flipped the egg to cook the other side. He dropped in some cheese, folding the omelette in half. He pulled out a plate from the cabinet, putting the cheesy omelette on it for the boy. He didn't have anything else to flavor it with, making it so simple. He glanced over seeing a petal fall from his orchid, watching Sae seem to panic over it. He chuckled, shaking his head side to side. "Don't worry, it's not broken, it's just losing its petals. I'm surprised it even lasted this long, I've always had troubles keeping those suckers alive." AmaryllisRose
Oh, so he likes flowers. Sae thought. He was glad he hadn't mistakenly harmed the plant. "Should I make tea or something?" Sae asked, starting to feel a lot more awkward. He watched as Ryota skillfully handled the pan and quickly made a fluffy omelette. He slid it towards Sae on a plate, and Sae examined it with a careful eye. The cheese was melted, nice and soft, and the egg was light as well as airy. Just how he liked it. "Thanks..." Sae smiled at Ryota. "It looks really good!" Grabbing an offered fork, Sae carefully separated a piece and blew on it. Popping it in his mouth, he savored the egg and cheese combo, quite enjoying it. "Aren't you going to eat?" Sae looked at Ryota. Stabbing another piece of egg with his fork, he offered it Ryota. "It really is delicious!" Maybe this nosy person isn't so bad... well, his food isn't so bad.
Raychu
Ryota had a catlike smile cross his face she T eh boy got so excited over his food. He was glad to see his did something right for once. He out the ingredients back in the fridge and the pan in the sink. He decided against ration since he wasn't that hungry anymore. He was more interested in watching Sae and his reactions to his weird little lifestyle. The wolf-boy seemed pretty curious in knowing about every little thing he found, it was adorable. It was like watching a puppy get used to their new surroundings, how could you not find that adorable? It made him want to tease the boy, but he held back. He didn't want to scare him away either, he'd rather get to know a lot about the boy before he let him go. The first thing was getting to know about him transforming into a wolf but that would probably take a lot of convincing the other to even talk about it. Ryota accepted the taking the bite of the omelette offered to him by Sae. He chewed quickly and swallowed. "Thank you, but I'm good. I think I'll just wait until later when I actually have a appetite, you enjoy yourself," he hummed, he was extremely glad his food turned out so nice, it even impressed the boy. Another point for Ryota.
