Magic has died out in the world but there remains a select few who can practise it and many scholars are intrigued by the practises of the past magic, they spend their time learning of the spells and the men that could do them. However now, in a time when magic is rarely used and never used for summoning a young magician decides to try his hand at the practise.

Name: Yasuo

Age: -less!

Race: Demon

Yasuo looked up from his work. He thought he had felt something. Something that shouldn't exist, or at least shouldn't have happened even if it did exist. Washing his paintbrush he placed it gently on the table and shut his eyes, emptying his mind. Silence, darkness, nothing. Nothing, until suddenly, there it was again. An odd twinge in space, a slight pull at the strings of reality. He wouldn't normally have noticed it except, except that magic hadn't been a practised art for over three centuries. This shouldn't be happening, there was no one alive that could even touch realities strings let alone make then reverberate like that.

The demon opened his eyes and moved towards the chair in the other side of the room. He sat in it and crossed his legs under himself before leaning back and shutting his eyes, his hands resting lightly in the space between his crossed legs. He focused. Thinking, watching. At the moment these were only tiny changes in reality, nothing that could make any sort of significant difference to anything but still he struggled to believe that anything was occurring at all. He had decided to wait it out and see what would happen, if he would need to intervene or tempt this human somehow.

He felt betrayed so he would study it on his own. He was never skilled at it and had a hard time even conducting any sort of magic to form. He gave up on his for awhile, just trying to focus on being a normal human. Sooner or later he bounced right back to it and began to try again. He kept trying and trying, but he seemed like he couldn't even conjure up a simple bloom spell. This irritated him, he wanted to do what other people couldn't. So he continued to try.

Jasper huffed as he continued to try to conjure up magic on a simple plant. Something had to give, whether it was now or later. He knew he was destined to be a magician, he just knew it deep inside of him. He could feel the magic coursing through his blood and veins. Magic was in his blood, he just had to concentrate enough to make it happen. He knew all the spells and signs, but nothing would make him conjure up magic, he had to do that on his own. He needed to find the strength to bring out a hidden power he knew he had, he had to control his and mend it to his mind. He needed to make it want to bend at his will, he knew he had the intelligence to do it, but he always wondered if he had the patience.

Jasper sat in a criss cross position, closing his eyes, focusing solely on the flower bud in front of him. He needed to make it bloom into a pretty flower, he just had to. I must make it bloom, I must! the words repeating themselves over and over in his head. He had to remind himself how important this was to him, to his life ahead of him. If he became a magician he could do great things. He just had to achieve step one, having a spell work without failure. He'd try and try again until he got it, this was his foreseen path that he must take.

Jasper muttered the magic words over in over in a chant, putting all his effort into it. He felt a tingly feeling run through his body, warming up to the feeling. He slowly opened is eyes to see that the daffodil had spread its petals out, welcoming in the sun. He smiled a bright smile, unable to hide the glee he was feeling it had finally worked. He felt so warm on the inside from the feeling of the magic coursing through his body. It made him feel at peace, what a wonderful feeling. He was practically bouncing up and down on the ground. He gawked at how pretty the flower was in the shining sun.

Yasuo sighed and stood up, that time something had changed, it was a little more than just a thrum along the strings of reality. This time something had jumped. Something had changed. Yasuo grumbled to himself annoyed that he had to go and sort this out, annoyed that someone had dragged him away from his peaceful painting and the darkness that shrouded him like a comfort blanket. At least he told himself he was annoyed, tried desperately to believe it too. Still he knew deep down he was excited, nothing like this had happened in so long he wanted to know why now and whom it was.

He gave up being frustrated and grinned, this was going to be interesting to say the least. For a moment he considered putting a lose blade through his belt to make him look more demonic and terrifying to this person but then decided against it, he probably wouldn't even show himself to the human anyway. Shutting his eyes he delved into his mind and remembered the strings, remembered their vibrations, remembered their orientation. Ping. That's it, that drop was where it originated, he'd found the person. Going over to the mirror in the corner of the room Yasuo drew lines over its surface: up, down, clockwise, left... He continued until he had exactly denoted where he wanted to go before he pulled his hand over the surface of the mirror and stepped inside.

He emerged in a small empty room. Stepping out the mirror the demon maid sure he was invisible to humans and wandered through the rooms until he eventually found the man he was looking for. The man was shorter than he had expected with pale hair and blue eyes. Yasuo watched for a time wondering what would happen before getting bored he wandered around the other, still not making himself visible and flicked the males ear with a chuckle before stopping himself realising he had forgotten the other would be able to hear his voice.

Jasper was thrilled at his new achievement of making a flower bloom. He had been working on this one spell off years a and he finally made it happen. His body still felt warm from the feeling of the magic running through him. His fingertips tingled with the new sensation. He felt like he could do anything now that he was past step one, or he sort of past it. He had achieved his for the first time, but who says it wasn't to fail him again. Maybe this was just a lucky day for him, maybe it was a one time thing. He began to doubt himself, knowing that he wasn't completely sure he was even the one who did it. Maybe some god was playing dirty tricks on him, trying to get his spirits up just to break him down. He shook his head side to side violently, eleminating the thoughts from his head. He knew he did it, he may fail again but he'll continue to try until he achieves it once more. He was a magician, he was going to master all of the spells, he just needed more time and practice.

Jasper ran a finger on the stem, watching the flower away back and forth. The daffodil seemed to open its petals a bit more, allowing more sun intake. It looked as if the flowering was opening its eyes to the life around it for the first time. He smiled seeing the flower bloom just a bit more. He pulled his finger off, standing up. It was about time for him to head home, he still needed to it. He gazed at the flower with a light smile on his face. This was just the beginning to his future. Soon he wouldn't even have to think twice about it blooming because he could naturally do it. That was his goal. He didn't want to become all powerful, he just wanted to gain something no one else had. He wanted to be a special person with magical secrets unlike any other. That's what he wanted. He didn't want to be stuck in the assembly line of normal people, he wanted to break away from the slaving world, making it into a new reality. Not as if he would leave the dimension, but he would finally be unique. The word everyone says that people are, but not really meaning it. He would truly be different from all of the people in the world.

Jasper was about to start heading home when his ear got flicked, hearing a chuckling come from it. Chills went up his spine as he looked around, trying to see who it was. No one was around besides himself. He rubbed his ear, frowning at the touch. He was put on the defensive, confused what to do. He was terrified of the mystery person he could not see. "W-Who's there? Come out and show yourself! C-Coward!" he stuttered with his words, knowing his fear showed. He didn't enjoy being the vulnerable one but he didn't know how to fix it. He couldn't see this person, he could only hear them. He ran through spells in his head, not remembering any to allow him to see anybody invisible, even if he did the chances of it actually working for him were slim. He whipped his head around, backing up slowly. He needed to get out of there, he needed to run. He didn't know what suddenly appeared but he didn't care to find out either. He just wanted out of there as fast as possible. He looked behind him, seeing nothing. He didn't know if he could run because the invisible person could possible be behind him. All his exits were cut off with unknowing where the hidden man was.

Yasuo smiled, pleased with himself. This man was scared whitless. He span around in circles and looked for an exit, it was like watching a deer in headlights. The male just didn't know what to do. Yasuo felt that rush of power one gets when in control of another. He knew he shouldn't play with the human but what the hell he thought. He might as well have a little fun, he was a demon after all.

Picking up a penny from the side the demon flipped it in the air letting it land in his hand so it appeared to float. "Tails" he spoke for debating what to claim that meant. Deciding he continued "well since it's tails I'll tell you a secret; your playing made my tail twitch with excitement." He grinned amused by the slight enuendo he had unintentionally made. He had fully meant his true tail but the slight enuendo implied he was excited in another sense, which he almost was. This power, this control, it did excite him desperately.

Dropping the coin again Yasuo approached the human again and getting close to him he brushed the hair away from the males face with his finger, feeling the others breath on his neck and fear in his eyes. He leaned in close and whispered "so? What am I?"

Jasper stared at the scene of the floating coin in awe. Tails, it landed on tails. The mystery man spoke again, causing Jasper to jolt at the sudden words. Well since it's tails I'll tell you a secret; your playing made my tail twitch with excitement. The younger boy's face flushed with embarrassment, trying to figure out what the mystery man meant. It seemed like he was saying something dirty but he didn't really get if it was or not. It didn't sound like the man was trying to be sexual but he never really could tell if someone was. His eyes started darting around, unsure to do. It was like he was being trapped in a clear box, he could see his ways out but he couldn't actually leave.

Jasper flinched, tensing up as a finger moved his hair from in front of his face. Was the mystery man in front of him? That couldn't be good. He stumbled backwards, falling on his bottom, looking up at where he originally stood. Why could he not see this person? It was frustrating him that he was in such a weak position, probably being looked down on by the invisible man. So, what am I? Jasper froze at those words. What was he? How the hell could he know? Then it hit him, tail... it wasn't sexual, it was an actual tail. Invisible, magic, tail. All these things could lead to one explanation and he didn't like it one bit. This could be a huge problem, did he just mess up because of making one little flower bloom? That couldn't be the case, could it?

He stood up brushing off the back of his pants, feeling himself being tense. "Demon... demon," he mumbled to himself. He raised his voice trying to look more confident, "You're a demon right? Surely that's what you are!" His voice was still pretty quiet, not wanting to set the mystery man off. He was extremely dangerous if he was a demon, Jasper didn't need any trouble. He wanted to live another three years.

The demon raised an eyebrow surprised that the human had gotten it right. "Well done, I'm impressed." He said as he straightened up and stood in front of the man debating what his next move was. He was tempted to show himself to the other but he knew he shouldn't really just in case the male spoke. But then, who would believe him? The word of one twenty year old or comments sense? It wasn't exactly a difficult choice; humans were so distrusting!

Making his decision the demon allowed himself to be seen, he was a tall muscular man with sharp features and piercing eyes. His hair was the purest white with small fur ears that pocked out the top of his head and twitched every so often. His clothes were dark and he wore a cloak of heavy black velvet and satin that fell of his shoulders like water. Beneath the cloak his tail swished back and forth slightly, a long elegant member of white fur that showed his true emotions only too perfectly, it was the reason he wore a cloak, so as to hide his truth-telling tail. Most demons managed to master the use of their tail and to suppress or falsify their tails movements. That wasn't a skill he had ever mastered no matter how much he tried.

Yasuo raised a long slanted eyebrow at the human before him and in an almost bored tone asked "Are you afraid?"

Jasper's mouth gaped open at the demon before him. He was gorgeous and tall. Though the younger boy was shorter than a lot of guys he met. He quickly closed his mouth, trying to stop himself from admiring the demon. He crossed his arms, looking at his ears. Even if he was terrified, he was extremely thrilled to meet such a creature. He always wanted to meet another race but he could never summon up any magic to perform the task. But here was a demon in front of him without even attempting the spell.

Jasper puffed his chest, gaining pride from a simple compliment of impressing the demon. He had plenty of knowledge on these certain things. Though he would've rather had a fairy than a demon, but who was he to complain. A chance to meet a demon was one in a lifetime, his lifetime to be exact. He wondered how many humans in this day and age got to meet such a fascinating creature. Slim to none was his guess. Whenever he was given a compliment it always gave him more pride than he really needed, but that's how he kept his confidence high. Without it he would be weak and vulnerable to everyone around him. He was sure his confidence was the reason he even achieved blooming the flower with magic. His pride made that possible for him, though many people would look down on him for having such a high ego.

Are you afraid? The demon already seemed bored with the young magician but he didn't let that affect him. He blinked at the question a few times, trying to come up with an answer. Was he scared? Of course he was, but that wasn't the only emotion he was feeling in the mix of them. "Afraid? Well of course I am. Who wouldn't be when suddenly facing a dangerous demon for the first time? I mean you could kill me in an instant! But I'm not just scared, I'm excited and happy, so many more that I can't even try to describe. I've always wanted to see a real demon," he said in a calm and cool tone. He didn't want to seem overly excited but he was. A smile began to spread across his cheeks just thinking about the fact he got to meet a real demon. He overlooked the fact he might die, there were too many positives that counteracted it. He wouldn't tell a soul or they would just say he was a fool caught in his own fantasy. No one would ever understand him, he was alone in the world.

Yasuo crossed his arms and inspected the man carefully, he appeared to have misjudged the human. That or he had just not seen humans for so many centuries that he had forgotten how they react to things, but something made him think this man was different. The demon stepped even closer so their faces were only just seperated. His ears twitched with almost anger and his tail swished being him aggressively as he heard hownthe other was less afraid and more excited. He hated that. This man was meant to be scared. Glaring, his eyes drilled into the others as he lifted his hand and placed a finger on the humans chest. His fingers had blackened nails the colour of midnight but unlike most demons he kept them neatly cut so they were long and sharp. He dragged his finger down the others left side of his chest and stopped as it rested on his waist before his hip bones.

Pressing slightly harder the demon never lost eye contact as he felt for that power within him and released a quick spark of heat, enough to leave a slight burn in the cloth and a small red mark, nothing that would leave a scar or blister. Stepping back again Yasuo smirked. "Your right, I could kill you, but why bother? That would be no fun." Deciding to toy with him a little he added "in fact it would be more interesting to play with you some more until it starts to bore me." He knew he was never going to hurt the man but it would be fun to let him think he would.

Jasper instinctively froze when the demon had touched him. He mumbled a simple 'oh' not sure of what to do or say. Busted being touched by anybody but this was even worse. The demon seemed angry at him, sending chills down the younger boy's spine. He looked down at the finger and back up at the demon. Had he said something wrong? He did clearly express his fear of the demon didn't he? Was this demon taking advantage of that? He knew he was being too open, demons were tricky creatures, he probably just sealed his fate with his simple-minded words. He never really thought before he spoke, he just spoke what was on his mind at that very moment, a bad habit to have when it came to creatures that could could get angered by the smallest insult that wasn't intended.

Jasper felt a burn in his chest, causing him to wince. "Ow!" he squeaked out. He looked down at his chest seeing a small cloth burn in his jacket. He pouted, this was his favorite jacket. He didn't know any spells for fixing a ruined piece of clothing, what was he supposed to do now? It looked awkward with the little burn mark and he wouldn't be able to make up a story off the top of his head how it got there. You can't just go around saying a demon did it, that's crazy talk. He was already crazy even with his weird fascination with magic. But no one knew that it was real, only he did, it was his own special secret to keep from the unintelligent humans around him.

Your right, I could kill you, but why bother? That would be no fun. In fact it would be more interesting to play with you some more until it starts to bore me. Jasper pursed his lips at the statement, slightly confused by the demon's vague sentence. He didn't understand how the demon would play around with him, though he hated the idea he'd rather not irk the demon to actually hurt him more. "But in what sense are you talking about? How exactly are you going to play with me? Would it be my magic or something to substitute that?" he said in one breath. He wanted answers to his questions, but this demon continued to pose even more questions for the younger boy. He was going to get his answers one way or another.

Yasuo chuckled as he heard the other yelp in surprise, it amused him no end that the human seemed more worried about the fact that his clothes were ruined than that he had just been physically abused by a demon even if it was only in a very minor way. The male appeared to be confused by his words thought which wasn't something the demon was expecting, certainly in the past when he had said such things to humans they had been petrified and wanted to run off with their tails between their legs, in fact they had begged him to release them but instead of doing any of that this human was asking what he meant. The idea astounded him, it was absurd, he wanted to know exactly what Yasuo was going to do with him, heck Yasuo didn't even know that he just made these things up as he went along not being used to being questioned, it threw him slightly on the defensive trying to regain control.

Raising an eyebrow at the other he asked "Have I just not been around humans enough in the past century or have you lot become a lot less petrified and a lot more inquisitive?" He licked his lips slightly, his red tongue flitting out from between his sharpened teeth. "You all used to run from us the moment you saw us and try and hide when you saw the fire. And yet here you are, questioning me. That or I've become complacent." He laughed wondering why he was talking so much but he guessed it really didn't matter this man could be dead in the space of a few seconds if he wanted it that way.

Jasper felt like he had just gained the upper hand with the demon as the demon spoke once more. Jasper loved the idea of constantly puzzling the demon with such simple words, he thrived on it. He knew it wasn't all of humanity, becaus rtheybwould most likely panic and run, but not him. He didn't fear what was unknown to man, he loved it. That was his escape to another reality. Maybe he was prepared for this kind of meeting, maybe he wasn't, but he didn't care. He knew that he wasn't as scared as when the demon was hidden, he was excited the demon even gave him a chance to see him. Magic was all he had, all he knew. Humans feared what they did not understand, but he embraced it. He let the unknown into his world, exploring its darkest secrets. He fed off of the new worlds that were made with it. He feared death without being a able to experience the unknown just once, and here it was in front of him.

"Surely it's not all humans, just me. Many would have panicked and ran away by now but not me, I'm rather curious about you. I would never want to waste an opportunity given to me like this. What a silly idea," Jasper said in an amused tone. His smile got wider, knowing this might shock the demon just a bit more. He wanted to see more reactions out of the demon, but he wasn't sure he was even willing to give them. He younger boy, sat on the ground, knowing he wasn't going to be leaving for a bit. He sat in a criss cross position, looking up at the demon. "May I inquire your name? I'm Jasper Miyani, but just call me Jasper. Though if you really are against saying your name, I will fully understand. But I might not be too happy about it." The younger boy chuckled, he was being too friendly, letting his guard down. But he couldn't help it, his dream was standing in front of him. He may have threatened him a bit but that didn't matter, he was too focused on the demon to think about himself.

"hmm" The demon acknowledged though he wasn't quite sure what to do with that which he now knew. Deciding however that he had had enough of talking and any further communication with this human would lead to him having to relinquish details about himself he nodded and said "Well, Jasper.." his voice became soft like a purr "I would love to stay and chat but unfortunately I have things that need doing and I would like to get on with them. Good day." he turned on his heel and left his white hair brushing against his shoulders and his tail twitching beneath his cloak with disconcertanty. As he walked he made himself invisible again and stop still. He wasn't going to leave, he wanted to know what would happen now, he just wanted the human, Jasper, to think he had left. Turning on silent feet he looked at the other. His ears twitched upon his head listening for even the slightest sound.

Jasper began to pout as the demon said his farewells. It wasn't fair, he wanted more time to spend with him. He knew he wasn't the demon's first priority, but he was hoping he'd at least tell him his name. "How rude of him, leaving so abruptly, he didn't even apologize for my jacket!" he mumbled. He was like a bratty child when not getting his way, especially when it came to things he was quite fond of. He pushed himself off the ground once more, crossing his arms. "Fine, I'll just summon another demon, I didn't need him to stick around anyway!" He stormed off, still pouting at the thought of losing his only chance to talk to a new creature. It bothered him that he couldn't even keep the demon around long enough to hear more about another reality. Maybe he sent the demon away with his attitude, but he didn't care. He tried to be friendly.

Yasuo followed the human out of the building listening to his selfish way of speaking and his childish complaints.Deciding he was going to glean nothing in this way he decided to go and test a theory. Leaving the human to his own devices Yasuo travelled a few blocks down and entered a house with a single lit window. Darkness was slowly beginning to fall as he wandered through the house and found the singular person sitting on a sofa watching the television. He observed for a moment. The person was a male approximately twenty five he had to guess, tall, well built and looked like he could win a fight. Nodding to himself Yasuo picked up a chair and moved it in front of the male. It looked like the chair was floating. He sat down in it still invisible. The male before him swore and leapt of the sofa reaching for anything that he might be able to defend himself with. His hand alighted on the lamp which he yanked from the wall and held in front of him.

A slightly stronger reaction than Jasper but then Jasper hadn't had a lot of things to grab so it was understandable that it might appear that way. He began to speak "Well that was to be expected." The man, now stood atop the sofa, cowered and shifted "Who..who's there?" His eyes showed the fear in them, pure fear. Just as Jaspers had, so far there was very little difference, now for the final test. Yasuo revealed himself. The man's eyes widened and he threw the lamp, Yasuo moved faster than the eye could see and stood behind the male his fingers digging into the man's side. "Please, please no..." It appeared as if the man shrank before his eyes. Yasuo sighed. That was how it used to be, how it should be, it irked him that Jasper didn't have the same reaction. He loved this power and control. So satisfying. The man fainted. Yasuo rolled his eyes but lay the man on the sofa and return the chair and the lamp making it look as if nothing had happened. The man would think it was a night mare when he awoke. Leaving Yasuo took an aimless walk trying to decide what to do.

Jasper kicked a couple of pebbles off the sidewalk on his way home. He shoved his hand in his pocket, huffing and puffing out of anger. He was still bitter over he demon suddenly leaving and he probably would be for awhile. He looked at the passing humans around him, frowning. Boring, they are just so boring. Dull, lifeless creatures that sap the earth without a purpose. They always had the same story, same excuses, it was pointless. He looked down upon his own brethren because of their stupidity towards life. He had much more intelligence than the average man. He didn't fear the unknown, he didn't fret over simplistic misery, and he never once fell in love over nothing. The idea of love bored him, it interfered with his goals in life, he had no time for it. Love wasn't needed in his world, he'd rather have a dull life with his magic than an over emotional mess of a life.

Jasper rounded the corner, looking up into the clouds. Why did he have to be born on earth? Why wasn't he somewhere else in the split dimensions of space and reality? He deserved much better than mindless humans who frowned upon everything they didn't agree with. Didn't he try his best at everything? He was alone in his life, even his parents didn't fully understand him. No one ever looked at it from his point of view, it was always theirs. He was so tired of the normal human lives, they needed to break free from that assembly line they were stuck in, like he did. Maybe then he'd have someone to bond with, but he never would. Humans had their ways of life and he had his, they would never interfere with each other long enough to even see the world in another view. Jasper sighed loudly, pushing his hair back with his fingers. Jasper was a complicated person, he was a puzzle you couldn't crack, that's why he was so disliked. But he couldn't change himself to mend to the way people wanted him to, it wasn't him, it was their vision of him.

Yasuo walked amongst the humans for a while contemplating what he was going to do about his predicament. Of course the easy option was to just return to his home and forget about it, it wouldn't cause any shifts in reality and it was easy not to mention the solution that made the most sense. Still he didn't want to actually do that, it was too mundane and obvious, too much like what everyone would do. He wanted to investigate this... At least he wanted to know what would make this man quake and shudder in fear. Yasuo hummed in satisfaction as he tried to think what the other would look like in such a position.

The thought made him shudder himself and in that instant his mind was made. He grinned pleased with his choice. He would go and find where Jasper lived and he would work out how to make him fear and desire at the same time.

Jasper headed to his apartment, pulling his keys out of his pants, sticking them into the lock. He jiggled them until he heard the clicking noise. He walked in, sliding his shoes off, closing his door. He headed into his living room, flopping onto his couch, laying face first. He was tired from all the excitement that had happened that day. He was completely wiped out mentally and physically. He was irritated over such a trivial matter. He could easily summon a demon himself, he didn't need a random demon popping up whenever. He lifted his head up, blowing his hair out of his face, frowning. His stomached rumbled, demanding to be fed. He sat up, pulling his legs criss cross onto the couch. He didn't want to move but he was hungry, he needed to eat. But he could easily skip a meal for one day.

Jasper closed his eyes, letting the world sync in around him. He felt frozen from his fingertips. He wanted that warm feeling he got when he used magic, it was an addictive feeling. He tapped his fingers on the couch, trying to gain some heat. He didn't want to attempt to perform any spells, his mind was too jumbled up with the thoughts of the demon. He wanted to know his name, he'd kill to know it. It ripped him apart that the demon just suddenly left him there alone. How cruel could that demon be to just walk away. Jasper was sure the demon realized his fascination with him. The younger boy's shoulders drooped as he opened his eyes, welcoming himself back into the real world. He hated the feeling of losing something like a needed toy. It was pissing him off, he wanted to continue to play but the demon wouldn't let him. This world was so unfair.

Yasuo went back to where he had appeared before the human and smelt the air, it was getting faint now, too much time had passed and thee night air was washing away all the scents. Still he could just about smell the human. Tasting the air the demon slowly followed the exact path that Jasper had taken upon leaving the building until he eventually ended up at Jaspers apartment. It was locked. Not that that actually mattered to Yasuo who flicked his wrist and immediately the lock popped open and he walked inside shutting the door gently behind him.

The apartment was medium sized, big enough for a single person to live in. He found the bedroom and was surprised to find it empty but he knew full well that Jasper was still here. He could taste the human in the air. He wandered through the apartment familiarising himself with it until he came to the living room and rolled his eyes upon seeing the human laying fast asleep on the sofa. Why did humans do that to themselves when they knew they had a perfectly comfortable bed that wouldn't make them ache in the morning?

Sitting down Yasuo debated waking the human up but decided that that was more effort than it was worth so he satisfied himself by just going to the others bed and sleeping there until the human awoke in who knew how many hours. He felt that he himself hadn't gotten any rest in a while and while demons didn't need to sleep it helped them replenish their powers if they did.

Jasper woke up, wiping the drool off of his mouth. He checked his watch seeing it was still in the middle of the night, he sighed. The couch was an uncomfortable place to sleep but he did it all the time. It made him feel at ease. He stood up, bending back slightly, hearing pop noises come from his back. He decided to head to his room and try to continue sleeping. He walked in, rubbing his eyes. He was about to climb onto his bed when he saw an intruder in it. He instantly flicked on his light, revealing the demon from before. He was in a bad mood now, he didn't want to deal with him this early. Why was he even here? Didn't he leave already? The worst part was the demon was in his bed. He really wouldn't have cared if his bed wasn't a single sized bed. I needed his sleep unlike this demon who was hogging his bed. He had the decency to actually come in without permission and steal his bed? Unbelievable.

Jasper stormed off to the kitchen, swearing under his breath. He went inside one of his cabinets grabbing a glasse. He filled it with water. He stared at it contemplating whether he should throw it on the demon or not. The demon could burn is house down, but Jasper wanted his bed. He was cold, tired, and the couch wasn't doing him a good deal of helping him sleep. His neck was sore from not having a pillow to prop his head up. He decided against throwing the water on the demon and drank the water himself. He wasn't in the mood to clean the cup so he just put it in the sink, heading back for his room. He crossed his arms staring at the demon in front of him, pursing his lips. He could try and make room, having the demon wake up to him, but the demon had the entire bed already taken over. Jasper grunted, he was not sleeping on the couch for some lousy demon who thought he could just waltz into the boy's home and do so as he please. That was not the case.

Jasper leaned over, shaking the demon roughly. "Get up, this is my bed. Get out," he snapped. Seeing as the shaking wasn't doing much, he went to plan B. He started banging a hand on his headboard right next got eh demon's ear. He hoped they were sensitive enough that the sound would wake him up. He could care less if his neighbors heard him, he heard them banging on the walls all the time. "Get up! Get out! This is my bed, I pay for it, not you! Leave!" he said, his voice louder in volume. Something had to wake up the vile demon from his bed, he just didn't know what it was.

Yasuo was completely out of the world enjoying the pleasantness that nothingness brought him when he heard the angry voice and the banging near his ear. Turning over he flicked his wrist and sparked flew around his fingers before he mumbled "Shut up and just sleep, there's loads of room." The demon moved a little more towards the edge and went back to sleep. He obviously had forgotten that the bed was a single and as such his hair took up half the pillow. His ears twitched in irritation and beneath the covers and his cloak his tail swished annoyed at the disturbance.

Jasper grumbled at the demon before him refusing to get up. He rubbed his wrist, pouting. He couldn't fit himself on the bed even if he wanted to, which he didn't. He refused to sleep on the same bed as someone, it was a space thing for him. Jasper yanked the pillow out from under the demon's head and began to hit the demon with it. "Get up! Get up now! Get out of my house!" he voice getting louder. He was getting more irritated by the second having the deal with the unwanted demon. "What right do you have to just waltz into my house and sleep on my bed? None!" He was angry when the demon suddenly left earlier, but for him to show up like this made his anger worse. He continued to hit the demon with his pillow, knowing it didn't hurt, but he was sure it would aggravate the demon enough to get him up. He'd deal with the consequences later, he just wanted to sleep now.

Yasuo grumbled at the other continued to hit him. Finally waking up properly he flipped onto his other side facing the human his eyes glowing and sparks flickering around his fingertips. "Damn humans, so bloody changeable!" He got up and pulled his cloak tighter around himself as he flicked sparks at the humans clothes trying to annoy him back. "Your species really just can't decide what they want can they? Seriously one moment you're begging for my name and the next you bloody hitting me with a pillow!" He stood and walked towards the mirror quickly swiping his hand across its surface and mumbling words before he stepped into the shimmering glass and disappeared.

He stepped onto the floor of his room once more and immediately fell onto his own bed wanting desperately to return to that hazy sleep. It took him instantly.

Jasper checked his jacket mutiple times once the demon left. There weren't anymore burn marks from the one he left earlier, which the younger boy was extremely thankful for. He didn't beg for the demon's name, did he? All he remember was asking for it once. He did complain when the demon left, but how would the demon know that? Unless he didn't actually leave. What a cheat that demon was. His ears were going red from the thought of the demon hearing his childish complaints. If only he could tell if the demon had actually left at that time. He dropped pillow onto his bed, following after. He hugged the pillow tightly closing his eyes. He would worry about all of that stuff later, right now he just wanted to go into the world of dreams. He was out in a matter of minutes, the sleep washing over him.

Yasuo slept for a solid two days, demons had a habit of sleeping for days and sometimes months when they finally got around to in simply in order to replenish their magical and physical energy. When he awoke Yasuo couldn't help but fell stiff, his joints ached and his brain felt slow and fuzzy. Trying to clear his mind he remembered what had happened, he rolled his eyes at how unpredictable humans were but then that was what made then so amusing so he didn't mind that much. Stripping of his clothes Yasuo wrapped a towel around his waist and headed towards the pool where the showers also were. He swam for a while before getting out and showering himself down and then wandering back to his room to get dressed debating what to do for the rest of the day.
