Jasper in the span of two days worked, ate, slept, and repeated. He didn't have much of a life outside of his magic practice. He got over the demon incident after a good nights rest and returns to his daily business like normal. He bloomed a couple of flowers when he had the chance, but other than that he was at home doing nothing. He was reading through one of his books, looking at new spells he could try that was meant for beginners. He still had a couple of fails here and there, but he somehow managed most of the time. The tingling feeling in his fingered was happening more often, sometimes it even happened when he didn't even use magic. He looked over many summoning spells but he decided against trying it at the moment. After his first encounter with a demon, he didn't want to deal with another that turned out the same.

Jasper's eyes skimmed over the words as he repeated them to himself a couple of times. He was never good at memorization so he would usually write the words down on note cards to practice later. He never had to worry about people coming in and finding them since he never let a single soul in his apartment. He was still a bit sour for the demon coming in without permission but it didn't matter now, the demon most likely wasn't going to come back, he hoped. He'd rather not deal with the annoyance once more.

Yasuo spent the morning practising with his blade, it had becomea habit who knows how long ago to spar after he had slept for a while, it woke up his senses in a way few things ever did and he never had anything to do just after waking up so it was as good an option as any.

When he was finished however he found himself once more at a loss of what to do and no matter how much he tried to deny it there was only one thing to do: try and scare the living daylights out of that human. He grinned and removed his blade before throwing a cloak offer his shoulder, this time a crimson velvet one that looked great with his cream silk shirt and cotten leggings. Repeating the process yet again with the mirror Yasuo stepped through into Jaspers apartment. He wandered through until he found the human and walked in as if he owned the place saying "good day." As he went and made himself a cup of coffee.

Jasper shot his head towards the voice, grumbling at the demon showing up once more. He closed his book, following him to the kitchen. "May I inquire why you are back in my house once again? You are not welcomed here. At least tell me your name if this is going to be a constant thing. Unless of course I just refer to you as the lowlife demon who is invading my apartment," he said in irritated tone. He frowned, watching the demon make himself coffee. He didn't have any right to touch any of Jasper's items. He had just gotten over the bedroom incident, but here the demon was making another scene. Of maybe Jasper was making the scene, but had a right, this was his apartment. "Why don't you just leave me be? What is the point of continuing to bother me?" He didn't actually care for the answer, he just wanted to get the message across that he didn't want the demon there. He may have loved the idea of meeting a new creature, he didn't love the idea of that creature in invading his home.

Yasuo didn't bother looking around as the human talked at him but put the kettle on to boil and waited for him to finish his rant before explaining "well since I got kicked out of a bed you weren't even using I thought I might as well. As to explain my current position I'm now bored and this seems as good a place as any to be and so, here I am. In regards to bothering you well you're a bit weird and I want to see why, normal people don't just ask a demon its name. Basically you are my new hobby." He turned his head and grinned at the other before pouring the water into the mug and mixing it. "Ohh and since you care so much my name is Yasuo...well its not but you won't pronounce my name properly and that's the simple form."

His new hobby? Jasper felt like he was about to start having steam come out of his ears with how angry he was getting. He did not enjoy being called a hobby. It made him sound like he was a toy for this demon to throw around whichever way he wanted. His ears began to turn red with anger, but he kept his top from blowing. "Nice to meet you Yasuo, now please leave. I don't really have time to deal with you today. I'm honored you decided to pay a visit and all, but I need you out," he spoke in a spiteful tone. He really was happy the demon took some kind of interest, but his anger overweighed the happiness he felt. He'd rather have the demon not call him a hobby, but just say he was interested in figuring Jasper out. But alas, that was not the case. He used a word that irked the younger boy, but there was nothing he could do about it. Yasuo held more power than the boy so if really didn't want to leave, Jasper had no way to make him. The first time he was lucky, this time he wasn't, the demon was full awake. "About that whole stealing my bed situation, it's only meant for one person, me. You took up the entire bed, not that I'd sleep in it with you anyhow."

Yasuo picked up the coffee mug and turned to face the other raising an eyebrow at him surprised at the anger I'm the males voice. "Well aren't you feighsty this morning." He chuckled and sipped at the scalding liquid. "But alas I fear I don't want to leave so please get used to my presence and I promise I won't steal your bed again seems as that is such an important thing for you for some unbeknownst reason." The demon rolled his eyes and sat down at the kitchen table flicking through the newspaper that was laying there: bombing, death, attacks, voting....nothing had really changed since he had last been here, granted the stabbings may have become bombing but all much the same. He sipped his coffee again.

Jasper just accepted the fact the demon would not leave. It wasn't going to change no matter how much he griped or complained about it, the demon made up his mind. The younger boy walked back into his living room, retrieving the book he had left and returning to the kitchen, sitting down at the table with the demon. He didn't want to leave the demon alone, worried he might do something he wasn't supposed to. Jasper didn't want him soiling any of his prized possessions, such as his books. In this day and age it was extremely difficult to obtain magic books without looking like a crazed lunatic to the people around you. He opened it back up to the page he was reading, returning back to his own little world. He tuned out everything around him, just focusing on the words that lie on the book in front of him. He started to mumble the chants naturally. It was a habit that he never cared to break, no one heard him much anyway.

Yasuo drank his coffee and listened as the other began to chant spells that he hadn't heard for decades and he had somewhat thought to have gone out of existence. He smiled remembering the man who had written that book. He had been a tall thin man with glasses and short black hair, he had been another really interesting human. Excited by the unknown and inquisitive to find out. Yasuo smiled remembering those days. But he also remembered how it ended and how horrible it was. He felt himself spiralling down that train off thought, a train he had presumed he had long since forgotten but it all came back. "That's wrong." Suddenly he heard something weird, it didn't sound right, he had spoken on instinct and was relieved when he realised why. Unwittingly Jaspers had pulled him out of his spiralling thoughts by pronouncing a weird wrong. "You got the emphasis on that word wrong." He repeated.

Jasper's face turned red from embarrassment when the demon corrected him. He was snapped out of his own world when the demon spoke and it ended up being just a word correction. "I don't need your help," he mumbled. It was odd having someone help him with the magic spells when he always had to learn by himself. He wanted a lot of help as a kid but he grew used to figuring things out himself. He felt a bit guilty he got snappy over the correction, but it was going to help him in the long run. "But... ah, thank you." His voice was much quieter. He went back to reading the same spell multiple times. He would say a few words here and there but he became self-conscious with he demon around so he kept fairly quiet. He never liked being corrected when he was wrong, he always liked to think he was right. Sometimes he had to admit defeat though and he'd let this time be one of those. He glanced up at the demon then went back to reading his book. He felt like he couldn't focus with Yasuo around, his mind was too full of the nuisance of a demon.

Yasuo rolled his eyes, this human really didn't know what he wanted, one moment he was angry, the next he was thanking him for the thing that seconds ago he was angry about. He listened to the other speak the words. He knew Jasper had lowered his voice but still it was easily audiable, he had incredible hearing abilities and the soft ears on his head twitched every time he heard something a little wrong.

Sighing Yasuo put down the newspaper and moved his chair so he was sat beside Jasper looking over his shoulder at the book. "Let me help you, you'll find it a lot easier to make the spells work if you can speak it properly, you won't have to rely so much on your own intrinsic power." He pointed to a word and explained exactly how it was pronounced, he had heard Jasper pronounce it wrong a number of times and it was annoying him. He hated hearing people buture the old tongue.

After about an hour and a half, Jasper shut his book with a huff. He put the side of his face on the table next to the book, closing his eyes, sighing loudly. He was tired of hearing what he had or hadn't said wrong, how to say it, and why it was said that way. Yasuo had more knowledge on magic then Jasper did, which was of course going to bet he case. He was a demon, Jaspr was human. Their life span was much different, Jasper didn't have as much time to learn about it than Yasuo. He was getting caught up on everything I he had missed over the years he stopped practicing. His pronunciation was rusty and he knew it. It was just embarrassing to be corrected by a demon on it. He'd rather be in private teaching himself than have the demon around but the demon didn't care, he made himself perfectly at home.

Jasper raised his head from the table, looking at the demon. He studied the demon's features, constantly looking up at the ears. The demon was extremely attractive, but good looks only went to far. Jasper detested Yasuo's personality, it was the worst part about the demon. Jasper went against his pride once more, speaking in a genuine tone, "Thank you for helping me." He looked into his lap, pursing his lips. He had not said many thank you's in his life. He was usually stuck up about it, so why was he being okay with it now? He did prefer to teach himself but this made up for what no one else did with him. No one helped him learn his magic, he was always alone with it.

Yasuo moved away when the other shut the book. Standing he put his chair back where it belonged and washed up his mug before drying it and placing it back into the cupboard. Turning he leant against the counter and inspected the man. He obviously wanstnt used to giving thanks from the way he said it and the way he never actually made eye contact with Yasuo. He was obviously embarrassed about it for some reason. Yasuo smiled and walking over rufled the young man's hair "my pleasure," he said cheerily "glad to see someone in this world is doing something interesting for a change!"

Jasper felt weird having his hair touched by a foreign hand, but it felt nice. He didn't move away and get upset, he just let it happen. Though his hair was a mess afterwards he didn't really care. He gave a wide smile when the demon said he was doing something interesting. That's all he ever wanted to hear from anybody. He was slightly happy to have Yasuo there at the moment, he was filling the quiet house that bugged the boy. He got lonely when no one was around all the time but he usually stated it was a sacrifice for for his dream. Jasper leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes. He was tired from reading spells, it wore him out. Learning the old tongue always was a difficult task for him since it was not really used in day to day life, making it hard to practice. He wanted to test out the spells to see if he could do them but he decided against it, he didn't want the demon to see him fail. Jasper opened his going back to staring at the demon. It may have been weird but he couldn't help it, he was curious about the demon. He flipped back into his mode of wanting the demon there. He had a hard time keeping all his priorities straight. One minute he is cranky the next he's completely cheerful in every way, that's what made him, him.

Yasuo looked around the kitchen, familiarising himself with it so he knew exactly where everything was. Noticing the other was watching him he walked over and clicked his fingers in front of the others face "What are you staring at? Seriously has you anger finally worn of? Realising how handsome I am?" He teased grinning, his tail swished behind him satisfactorily as he stood beside Jasper. He walked out of the kitchen inspecting the rest of the house looking for the other mirrors and anything of interest. Finding the a printer Yasuo stole a couple of pieces of paper from the tray and found a pencil on a desk. Smiling he wandered back to the kitchen and sat down again "I assume from this place that you live alone. You're a bit young for a human to be living alone aren't you? Any reason?" He asked as he picked up the book jasper had put back on the table and placed his paper on it as he lifted his feet onto the chair he was sat on and leant the book and paper against his bent knees. Putting pen to paper he began to draw waiting for the other to respond.

Jasper sighed at the ridiculous comment, not letting it affect him as much as he usually would. "I already knew you were attractive, well from your looks, your personality is horrid," he said in a neutral tone. He hated being teased, that was one of the biggest things that could set him off like a firework. Jasper cringed when Yasuo took his book, using it as a surface to draw on. Incoherent words became to fumble out of his mouth as he said, "Not my book! Go use another that isn't one of my spell or history books!" He reached for it but didn't want to anger the demon by ripping it out from under him. He hated the thought of the book being soiled by the unknown fingers. Trying to change the subject to keep his mind off of it, he went back to the topic at hand. Why he lived alone? Because he just decided to make a life for himself. "Sure I am, I decided to leave the nest the moment I could. I'm mature enough to make a living for myself. To be completely honest, I don't think my parents even wanted me around as soon as I became obsessed with the magic they once practiced." He shrugged nonchalantly, he didn't care that they wanted him out, he didn't need them. All his life they were around, nothing more. His parents never even bothered when he took a liking to magic, it's like they were disappoints in him for copying what they did once.

Yasuo rolled his eyes as the other tried to take the book before thinking better of it. He listened carefully thinking it was a little weird still although he understand the desire not to be ruled by others because he lived under their roof. It did make sense to leave if you were resented, but from what he knew of humans they didn't normally tend to resent those within their own family. He dismissed the thought thinking that it appeared the other didn't want to talk about it. He changed the subject "You know this book is really rubbish, I knew the man that wrote it and he hated it but could never get the publisher to recall it because it sold too well. Weird man, you'd probably have gotten on with him. He never knew his own feelings either. Amusing really." He grinned looking up at the other as he took jabs at Jasper. "Anyway, do you fancy making dinner, I'm starving!"

Jasper frowned at Yasuo calling his book rubbish. He didn't care what the author thought of it, it was still his prized possession. But he gave in once more to the demon. He was becoming a pushover with the demon around and began to resent himself for it. Never in his life had he given anyone their way like he did with the demon. "I know my feelings, thank you very much," he didn't really understand not knowing his feelings, but he decided to argue that he did. He knew he loved magic, he knew he hated annoyances such as the demon, he knew his feelings perfectly well, right? He may have changed moods randomly every now and then but it was only because he sometimes wasn't rationally thinking the situation over like he should. He had a perfect grasp on his feelings. "Fine, is there anything you want to request before I start making it? Because if not, I better not hear while in the process of cooking, you suddenly want something." He rolled his eyes, unhappy with the demon practically demanding food. But he was hungry as well do it worked in favor for both of them. Jasper was a fairly good cook, his mother had taught him the basics and from there he taught himself everything else.

Yasuo sighed, it really was difficult talking to this person, he was just so random with his emotions and his words. He really didn't quite know what to say that would make Jasper think one particular thing and he hated that, not knowing how someone would react, he had lost control of the person and it angered him. He wasn't angry at Jasper, of course that would be stupid but he was angry at himself. "Anything." He said curtly as he continued to draw though his lines had become thicker, darker and shorter now. He was drawing from memory and hadn't actually realised what he was drawing he had just put pen to paper and started but now he looked he realised he was drawing that man, that man that had written the book. He growled and his ear twitched in frustration his tail flicking in irritation. Damn why was Jasper making him remember these things. He screwed the piece of paper up and threw it towards the bin missing by a few centimetres. He started drawing again. Something specifically not to do with magic. He drew earth, a particular part of earth, he drew the indecisive nature of it and the randomness of humans, the drawing was odd but somehow as he continued it started to look good.

Jasper furrowed his brows at the rude tone the demon suddenly used. Had the younger boy done something wrong to aggravate the demon? If he did he did not care because he had not intentionally done it. "Fine but I won't hear any complaints come from your mouth," Jasper said in a ruder tone. He stood up, sliding his chair in, walking to the fridge. He glanced over all the foods had, he could make something simplistic or fancy. Since the demon was there he could try and impress him but he decided simplistic was quick and easiest. Maybe he could make a fancier meal some other time. He grabbed the ingredients for a beef noodle soup, setting them in order in the counter. He pulled out his mixing bowl and grabbed a pot, gently placing it on the stove. He pulled a knife from his knife block, setting it by the food. He pulled his jacket sleeves up, washing his hands. He looked over seeing Yasuo throw a piece of paper, missing the trash can. "No littering in my house. Pick that up and throw it away properly. I'm not feeding you until you do," he said in a playful tone. He was hoping the demon would go back to his annoying ways rather than being so grumpy.

Yasuo looked at the other and glowered, annoyed that he was being told what to do. When he saw the look on the others face however he relaxed a little feeling bad that he had been so short when the other was just being playful with him. He forced a smile trying not to get too worked up. "Sorry, I didn't realise this was his lordships house!" He grinned and stood picking up the piece of paper and putting it in the bin properly. Before going back to the table "so what's on the menu dare I ask. Ohh and if it's bad I will tell you, there's no point letting you feed me something inedible or I shall take your soul instead!" He grinned as he looked at the other.

Jasper turned off the water, drying his hands right the rag by the stove. He stuck his bottom lip out, pouting at the harsh words. "How cruel of you Mr. Demon, it pains me to hear such terrible words. Insulting a chef's cooking without even tasting it, it is the worst insult of all," he laughed. Jasper took the knife and began to cut the vegetables into slices. "I'll have you know I make a pretty mean bowl of beef and noodle soup. It may be simplistic but it will make your mouth water." He glanced at the demon, seeing he softened up a bit. The younger boy was glad he was going back to his old ways. He wasn't going to prod the demon on why Yasuo got so angry all of a sudden, though he was quite curious to know. He gave the demon a smile, realizing he was looking at him. He returned his attention back to the vegetables, cutting quickly. He never had an accident in the kitchen unlike most people, he was too careful for that.

Yasuo chuckled under his breath "Well I hope for your sake that your right, I quite fancy a nice juicy soul now." He turned and winked at the other before placing the pen and paper upon the table and satisfying himself with just watching the human cook. He was surprised to find that Jasper seemed exceedingly competent in the kitchen, never once getting something wrong or even close to cutting himself. "Although, watching you, you might be lucky enough to escape becoming my dinner since you look like you know what you're doing." Yasuo allowed himself to watch the other and let himself relax a little more, in fact he relaxed more than he had in a long time for some reason. He was surprised to find that his ears had dropped down and his eyes were wandering the kitchen carelessly, he tried to focus for a moment but decided that he really couldn't be bothered and it wasn't worth his effort so he just contented himself to watching the man in front of his move about the kitchen and cook.

Jasper laughed, genuinely laughed. "I hope I would know what I'm doing, I've made this meal many times before! I'm sure it'll turn out just fine," his voice confident. He continued to cut the vegetables in neat slices, humming a small tune as he did so. He had to soar to cook properly because he didn't want to waste money on eating out all the time. He needed that money for rent, bills, and buying his books. He didn't have all the upgraded electronics but what he did have worked for him just fine. "Maybe I just don't give you any if continue to critique my work without eating it." He put his cut vegetables into a mixing bowl moving onto the meat. He was much gentler with me meat, making sure he cut his slices thinner, getting rid of any excess fat. He glanced back seeing Yasuo still staring at him, raising a brow. "Is this entertaining to you? I'd turn it pretty boring." He turned back to his work, putting his full attention to cutting the meat.

Once Jasper had finished cutting the ingredients except for the meat. he used his hands to mix them all up. He went to the pantry pulling out the noodles and a broth. He filled the pot with water, putting it back on the stove, having it start to boil. He grabbed the skillet, plugging it in and turning it to medium. He put the beef on their watching it turn brown. Jasper would let it sit for a couple of minutes before putting them in the bowl with the vegetables, and repeating with the other pieces of meat. Once he had cooked all of the beef, he turned off the skillet, letting it cool down. The water had started boiling in the meantime, he put the noodles and broth in to add the flavor. He let the pasta cook fully before turning the stove, putting in the extra ingredients and letting it simmer. He had decided to wash the used dishes in the time of the three minutes he had to let the soup simmer. He out everything away properly, returning to the stove and turning it off. "Help yourself, since you seemed to have figured where everything is," he said in a calm voice. He felt at ease with the demon around, even if he did irk him every now and then. He put a soup ladle into the pot, grabbing himself a bowl from the cupboards, and a fork. He served himself, walking over to the table and sitting down.

Yasuo let the other cook in silence as he watched contented to just sit and contemplate life. He shut his eyes and listened the the light humming of Jasper in front of him. When the other next spoke he couldn't have said how much time had passed although he guessed it hadn't been too long. Opening his eyes Yasuo stood and went found the crockery. Picking up the ladle he poured himself some of the food, it smelt good as the steam wafted up in front of him. It smelt really good.

Sitting back down the demon took a sip "Hmmm, I think you managed to save your soul for now puny human." His purred as he grinned, his tail flicked playfully beneath his cloak shifting the material a little.

Jasper laughed, "Well of course, I told you I knew what I was doing," he spoke in a playful, cocky tone. He took a sip, of the broth, pursing his lips. "Needs a bit more flavor next time. I need to find fresher ingredients to give it the flavor I want." He shrugged his shoulders, eating in silence. He critiqued his food I knowing what to fix next time. He always wanted his meals to be top notch so that if someone did ever come in for some odd reason he could win them over with his food. But it turned out great this time, he was glad as well. The beef was juicy and tender like it should be, the noodles perfectly cooked. He nodded his head in approval. Swallowing the food in his mouth, he looked up at the demon, curiosity in his eyes. "Does this mean the next time you decide to randomly pop in I need to be prepared to make something again? Maybe next time it'll be fancier like at those five star restaurants." He enjoyed having someone to eat with, he didn't have as much leftovers with someone else there. Yasuo filled the empty seat he always stared at, making him him at ease with the table finally having two at it. He missed his family dinners but he had to get over the fact they were disappointed in his choice to take the role of becoming a magician. He frowned at the thought, going back to eating his food. He tried to get his Monday of such a trivial matter.
