Jasper finished up quickly, not wanting to make the other wait too long. He hopped out of the shower, quickly drying and redressing himself, ignoring his hair for one day. He headed out into the living room, plopping down next to the demon. He felt a bit sorry for keeping the other there when he looked so tired, needing sleep. He still didn't want to let the other leave though, needing him there, not wanting to lose his presence. "What are we watching?" He spoke softly, running his fingers through his hair, attempting to comb it. He needed to cut it, it was beginning to grow too long, unable to maintain it. He sighed as he had to rip through to get the tangles out, giving and just pushing it out of his face.

Yasuo opened his eyes as the other sat down next to him. "I haven't chosen yet since I wasn't sure what you liked." He picked up the remote at switched to the movie listings. "Anything that strikes you?" He asked as he ran down the list. Yasuo winced as he noticed the other yank at his hair, it really looked like it hurt and for once he was glad he normally kept his tied back. Frowning Yasuo sighed, that really did look painful. "Here you pick a movie let me sort out your hair, I've been putting up with long hair for years after all." He smiled and passed the remote over before he shifted his own position and pulled Jasper towards him.

Jasper didn't really care what they watched, so when he was given the remote, he put on a random action movie. He never cared much for television anyway, it was just a waste of money, but he still kept it so on bad days he had something to entertain himself with. Being pulled towards the other, he smiled, enjoying being close to Yasuo. "Ah, I'm going to chop off this long hair sooner or later," he spoke softly. He didn't want the hair anymore, it was a horrible thing to deal with. Plus, he didn't think he looked good with long hair, he just kept it because he never had time to go to a salon. He needed to make time, that was for sure.

Yasuo chuckled "I know what you mean, it gets annoying sometimes but your hair is so pretty it seems a shame." He let his fingers run through Jasper's damp locks gently teasing out the knots as he did trying not to hurt the male. He looked up at the tv to see what the other had put on. An action movie of some kind. Only half paying attention to the film he gently brushed the males hair with his fingers until all the tangles were gone. He pulled Jasper closer to him so the male was leaning on him and he wrapped his arms around the human as he watched the movie.

"Pretty?" Jasper was quite confused with his hair being called pretty. Was it normal for men to have their haired referred to as pretty? It was odd, but he liked the compliment. "Maybe I'll keep it then," he spoke so softly, mumbling his words. He knew the other could hear him, that was practically why he said it. He leaned his head into the touch, enjoying the other doing the job. He was much kinder to the hair than the magician was, not caring if he hurt himself or not. When he was pulled into the other, his smile only got wider. This was nice, really nice. It wasn't just having his space filled that was nice, it was the company within it. Yasuo was there, something he appreciated more than his books. That made the other special. Which worried Jasper a lot, he was getting so attached to the other, what if he left him? What if he decided enough was enough. He brought his hands to the arms on him, grip pick them so they couldn't move. Would the other feel that way? Would he get tired of being around the blonde at some point? Was it inevitable?

Yasuo smiled as the other pulled him tighter against him. He enjoyed them being so close together and just the simple act of being with each other was enough to make him smile even though they were neither talking nor doing anything he was content just to sit with the male and just watch the film. He could smell the soft scent of the others shampoo and breathed in the sweet smell vomiting it to his memory as he leaned forward and gently pressed a light kiss onto the males neck, squeezing him gently with his arms as he did.

Jasper hummed in response to the feather light kiss, smiling widely. He never knew having company would be this great, he always assumed it would bother him. That it would do him no good, only annoy him. Having Yasuo around, it taught him that certain people's company isn't so bad. His especially. The magician never wanted to let the demon go, but he didn't want to have things hidden from him. He tensed slightly thinking about his hands being tied. Unconciously he started to rub one of his wrists, thinking about how it felt with the belt wrapped around. It wasn't too tight, the other was wrong about that, it just was something he didn't want to do. Being unable to touch the other made him feel so far away. Then the other said he didn't want to talk about it, that distance between them widened. The gap never closing. He didn't like feeling so far away from the demon. He liked him so much, it scared him how far away he was already. It wouldn't be long before they built a wall between each other.

Yasuo tried to watch the film but his eyes kept being drawn back to how the other was rubbing his wrists where he had tied them. He wasn't sure if the motion was unconscious or not but it made him feel bad, he really did need to talk to the male about these things but he wasn't even sure how to broach such a topic and he was a little worried that the male would completely reject the idea and Yasuo just wasn't sure how he would cope with someone touching him wherever they wanted to during sex. he just didn't think it would work. After all it hadn't gone well in the past so why should it now?

Yasuo could feel himself slowly drifting into sleep, the human world truly was exhausting and he was so worried about what to do he was sure he would have nightmares and was trying desperately not to fall asleep but he couldn't help it. The warmth was just right, Jasper was with him and he was happy, other than that one thing. Slowly his eyes shut and he fell asleep. For a while it was fine and there were no dreams but it probably wouldn't stay like that.....

Jasper could feel the slowing of the brew ting, signaling the other had fallen asleep. "Yasuo?" He only spoke up to confirm what he knew, shifting a bit in their awkward position. He grabbed the remote, turning the television off, letting the the room dim. The magician didn't want to wake Yasuo up, trying to allow him to sleep. Though it was hard for the boy, he was trying to stay as still as possible so that he wouldn't alarm the demon. Their position was quite uncomfortable for him to try and fall asleep in as well so he just sat there, his eyes wandering the room. He never really looked around, finally noticing how empty the place really was when it was just him by himself. He had never really payed any attention to it, used to his normal routine with having no one around to bother him. Yasuo changed everything he looked at now. He noticed how lonely he actually was, how much he wanted the company of the other.

The blonde kept a firm grip on the arms around him still, making sure they didn't move an inch. Even though they were so close, this skin that touched him hot, it felt so cold between them. As if there was no connection. It could be, he was imagining everything, paranoia overtaking his brain, just scared that the other would leave him. It's so hard to feel secure when there was a gal holding two people apart. Even though the magician tried to desperately look past it, he was chained to it, the feeling of worry spreading throughout his mind. He wanted to not feel his way, Yasuo must have had his own reasons for keeping a far gap between them, Jasper just couldn't accept it. This was new for him, each emotion something he had never yet experienced like this, how as he supposed to act? He wanted to be selfish, though he would stop himself before that happened. Closing his eyes, the younger male started to drift off into his own slumber, an aching in his neck already starting.

Yasuo grumbled a little in his sleep as the other shifted but he remained deep in his slumber. With the warmth of then other next to him he was content and nothing could be better. But it was never like that long. The world was rarely so neat and perfect.

Suddenly everything went dark, not the darkness of sleep, no this was the darkness of the unknown and the foreboding. Yasuo felt his fear start to rise. He wanted to wake up before it was too late but he couldn't. He was trapped. There was a chuckle to his right and the demon span towards it trying to catch the man to whom the voice belonged. No one. He could feel his throat going dry and his voice wouldn't come out, only slight gasps escaped his lips.

Then something touched him. A hand. Light caressing fingers and lips upon his ear. He tried to shake his head but the feeling remained, he tried to lash out but his arms wouldn't move, they were above his head, held high, too tight. His breathing came out in pants as the adrenaline rushed through him and he tried to escape. He whimpered but there was just a dark laugh to his right as the man touched him. The man got angry when he didn't get hard. He slapped him, whipped him. Then the man spoke again. Deep, dark, reverberating words from which he could never escape.

Yasuo awoke with a shout. There was a weight on him. He growled, his wings bursting forth and his tail flicking as he leapt from the sofa the weight leaving him as he stood his eyes glowing and fire at his fingertips as he prepared to destroy the man. His breathing was erratic and his mind was clouded.

He saw Jasper. Everything vanished. He swore and collapsed onto the floor with his head in his hands trying not to cry or scream or shout all at the same time and still trying to get rid of those words and that voice and that touch.

Jasper awoke with a startled reaction, siting up immediately once he lost the contact of the demon hey he was leaning against. He stopped himself from rollick off the couch, looking around frantically, only to find his lover on the floor, in a slumped position. "Yasuo? Are you alright? What's the matter?" His voice soft, reassuring, worried the position the other was in. He reached his hand out to touch his lover, only to retract it halfway through the reach, worried something might possibly happen if he touched the other so suddenly. He had never seen Yasuo like this, he never saw anyone like this, he didn't know how to handle the situation. He didn't have nightmares of panic attacks, anything like what is going on with demon. The most he did was cry, not much more happened with him. This was something new for him. How was he supposed to talk to the other without knowing what's going on?

"Do you need something? Some tea may help calm you down," he quietly suggested, trying to find something that could put the other at ease. All seemed well when the fell asleep, what had happened? He rubbed the aching spot in his neck, his eyes flickering on Yasuo nervously. He didn't know if he should wait for a response of just do what he thought was best. He thought touching the other may be best, then again, it may be a really stupid idea. He would risk it. He didn't know what was wrong with the other, but anything that could help, he would try. His hand slowly reached out again, a tremble at his fingers as he leaned forward, lightly putting his hand on the demon's cheek. Should be say he as there to help? Was he even wanted there at that time? Did he do something to cause this? Why did there have to be a wall, why couldn't he just break it down and know the secrets?

Yasuo couldn't even hear the other speak, he was lost in the past and he couldn't pull himself back out of it though he tried with all his might. Suddenly he felt something on his cheek. A hand. He hissed through his teeth and instantly, with speed that was quicker than the human eye he grabbed the person's wrist and yanked it from his cheek before grasping at the other and pushing the person to the floor hands above his head.

His breathing was heavy as he wondered why he had managed that, normally he was restrained to not being able to move an inch. He looked at the person below him. Looked at Jasper. His eyes cleared as he looked deep into the hurt eyes of the other. He could tell the male wanted to know what was happening, how he could help. It pain the demon. He collapsed onto Jasper and wrapped him in his arms "I'm so sorry, please forgive me." Tears slipped from his eyes but he didn't make a sound. He didn't want to make the other feel worse. Standing he turned away "I should go." He said softly, he didn't want to hurt Jasper, he thought he could cope butnit turns out he can't. He couldn't risk hurting this human. He had to leave Jasper. And yet....yet he couldn't make his feet move.

The magician yelped when the other pulled him from the couch, and slammed him on the floor as he pinned his arms above his head. He was surprised it wasn't as rough as he thought it would be, the response was a lot better than what the demon could've done to him. For example, using magic on him. He did it once more twice before, though, those times weren't meant to actually hurt him, it still burned him when it was used. That could've come back stronger, it could've caused real damage if it was used aggressively. Instead, he was just being pinned under the demon, though there was an ache in his arms from the roughness. He gave Yasuo a sad look as he looked down at him, unsure how to help his lover without knowing the situation personally. He just wanted to hug the man and say it was all better, but he didn't even know what he would be saying that about. He was so lost when it came to Yasuo, aching to know everything about him. His heart was in more pain than his arms, he felt so useless when it came to the other.

Jasper was surprised the man hugged him after a few seconds of keeping him pinned down. He instantly hugged his loved back, holding him tightly. She wanted to cry for the demon as he heard the words, feeling bad for the man and what he could possibly be going through. "It's fine, it's fine. No harm done, you're fine," he said in a soothing gone, hoping that helped him just a little bit. He didn't want to be completely useless, trying to find small ways to help ease him a little bit. Yasuo was clearly in pain, the magician was unsure how to respond, but he would do his best to help out in anyway he could. The hug was over quickly as the other stood up, declaring he should leave. "No! Don't leave!" His voice was needy as he stood up, instantly hugging him from behind. Why did he have to get selfish now? Yasuo was in pain, not him. Jasper just couldn't help getting selfish and possessive, even if this was he kin doc situation they were in. The magician was worried for his lover, afraid letting him go could possibly hurt him a lot. "I don't know what you're going through, I won't ask either. But I think it's better if you aren't facing it alone, I think you should stay."

Yasuo flinched as he felt the others arms wrap around him. He scared that he might do something to the human and hurt him irreparably if he stayed but he liked the feel of the others warmth behind him and he didn't want to lose the male. He was stuck between wanting to do what was best for Jasper, even if he hadn't posed as a threat to the male the human shouldn't be mixing with the demon world anyway, but on the other hand Yasuo wanted to stay with the human and be comforted by him and to look after the human when he was down. He felt oddly attached to the male already even though they hadn't known each other long. He swallowed down the sick that threatened to make itself known in his fear of thee choice. When the other spoke in those soft soothing tones however he knew his choice was made. There was no way he could get over this by himself. He needed Jasper even if the male didn't need him. Tentatively he moved his hands up and rested them on the others arms that were wrapped around him. "You shouldn't be mixing with our world, and especially not with me..." He paused before he finally made up his mind "but I'm glad you have." He turned and leant down to kiss the other before images flashed in his mind and he drew away slightly kissing the top of the males head instead.

Jasper frowned when the other told him he shouldn't be getting involved in the demon world, not him, not anything of the sort. He felt so rejected that his lover had decided what he should and shouldn't do. That means the magician should stop his practice, that was what got him involved in the first place. He loved magic, it was the only thing that kept him going, the only thing that gave him actual meaning to his life. He didn't want to be told he should stop getting involved, it wasn't anyone's choice but his own. He adored having Yasuo around, he wouldn't dare try to go back now. IF the other left him, it would hurt him a lot. To the point nothing, not even magic could ease the pain of loneliness. He wouldn't let the other leave without a good enough reason to do so. If the blonde was annoying, he would find a way to be better. If the other felt like he was going to hurt him in say way, Jasper would reassure him every day it was fine, nothing bad would happen. This anger and sadness he felt vanished when the other said he was glad that he did. Only the simplest of words could make his heart beat fast. He didn't comment when his lover avoided a kiss, instead, pressing his lips to the boy's forehead. He wouldn't get pushy about it, he would calmly wait. "May I ask what the matter is? You don't have to tell me if you don't wish, at least have some tea to calm down," he said softly, a wide smile spreading on his face. He hated being locked in secrets, though this might have been for Yasuo's own good. He didn't know, he just knew, he would work with it as best as he could.

Yasuo nodded, he knew if they were going to try and make this work then he was going to have to let something on to his lover. A faint whisper of a smile flitted across his lips at the thought that this person really was his. He hadn't kicked Yasuo out or yelled at him for his inability to control his past. No. Jasper had been kind and asked him to stay. It reassured him a little that this male was kind and caring and wanted to help him even if he didn't understand the question. "Tea would be good, I guess you should know but..please bare with me. I've never told anyone before." He swallowed down the fear and made his way to the kitchen.

Sitting in a chair at the table he brushed his hair away from his face trying to work out how he was going to even start to explain everything that had happened. About that man and what he was like, why Yasuo hadn't stopped or realised it sooner. He licked his lips, the fear was making his throat dry and his lips.

Jasper felt guilty the other decided to tell him, even if it was a painful thing to talk about. If Yasuo really couldn't say, he would t push it, he'd make sure to respect the certain boundaries that the other may have over this. He felt a little special he was going to be the first to hear about it, though, that happiness kept getting knocked out by the dread of not wanting to know. He started the tea kettle immediately after filling it with water, turning the heat up to medium as he set it down. His eyes flickered to Yasuo and back to the kettle, unsure if he needed to say anything. He saw how nervous the other was about even speaking about this unspoken thing, feeling bad that he even asked. "You really don't have to tell me if it's too hard. Take your time, don't rush into it. Sure, I want to know, that doesn't mean right now. In the future is just as good. Only when you're ready to tell me," he said softly, hoping the other would calm down knowing he didn't have to say it right away, Jasper would calmly wait for the day to come to hear the story. Jasper didn't want to pry, he didn't want to left in the dark either. He was stuck on so many feelings, unsure which one was the way to lead him. He didn't want to let himself get angry, he wanted to be sympathetic, which was hard when you had no idea about anything. He wouldn't dwell on it, Yasuo was his lover. He needed to learn patience so the other wouldn't get pushed away in the mix of his anger.

Yasuo nodded as he collected his thoughts. Slowly he was starting to get a grip on the world again so he might actually be able to say and do something productive. Looking out of the window he noticed that the sun was just starting to come up, there was a dim orange glimmer in the sky that leant it a soft calming feeling. He almost wanted to go outside and watch the sun rise, such things were a luxury he never got in the demon realm, but then again that could wait for another day. A day when he could just sit in the warming sun and hold Jasper in his arms whispering sweet nothings in his ear as the sun began to brighten the sky. The idea warmed him and gave him something to aspire to. If he wanted to get to that point he was going to have to get past this first and that would involve telling Jasper everything. Or at least as much as he could.

Yasuo took a deep breath and said "You know that book you always read and glare at me if I abuse it?" He asked although it was a rhetorical question. He didn't want to say his next words though because they were too painful and too real. It was like going back in time to then and reliving the entire thing. But he wanted the other to know, he wanted to explain. "When I said I knew him, I may have been understating....We, well we dated for a while. Actually a long time, until...well it was a long time anyway I will get to the rest." He shifted uncomfortably but continued one. The more he started talking the more he found that he could talk as if it was some one else's misfortune that he just happened to have been witness to. It made it easier to disconnect himself from it.

"When I first met him he was just starting out. At the time there were lots of magic users but I could feel the pull on the strings that kept time in place and I could tell he was something more, although whether he was dangerous to the world or not I didn't know. Anyway over time we got to know each other and eventually he confessed to me and well things started from there. By the time we were dating he was writing his first book-though few of those copies exist now days" He kept from the other that he had a copy back at his home "It was fine at first, he was kind and fun and we enjoyed each others company. But then he started to get older and I remained the same with only very few changes. He couldn't cope with it, he wanted to believe he had control and it all went downhill from there. But I loved him and I would have done anything for him and indeed I did do everything for him. At first he just took control of his own life, started sharing less with me, but then he moved on to not wanting my opinion, being rude and ignoring my advice...then he wanted control in the bedroom. Of course I did everything he wanted, how could I not? He wanted to be on top, I let him. He wanted to fuck me, I let him. He wanted to use toys, I let him. Then he wanted to try bondage... and I let him." Yasuo trailed off, it was becoming harder to disconnect himself from this even though he was desperately trying to.

"Everything went wrong, he wanted full control over me and he bound me so tight I couldn't move and he used chains I couldn't break, he blindfolded me so I couldn't see and used to come up behind me and whisper words I hadn't hear him say in years in that sweet loving voice but then it would be replaced by a harsh, hateful and resentful tone. He would whip me and leave me for days. I couldn't sleep and my powers drained. He let me nearly die as the human world drained my powers and then he would touch me tenderly before pulling my hair and scratching my wings. His touch was so unpredictable that I grew to hate the tender touches more than the pain. Eventually...eventually once when I hadn't slept for a long time and I was on deaths door he came for me and said things..things...." He couldn't say, it was too painful. He swallowed and when he began again his voice was hoarse and pained "He touched me and kissed me and then slashed at my wings. I snapped, my instincts kicked in and somehow I broke the chains. I only remember flashes after that but when I returned to my senses I was laying there...on the floor...and...and..there was blood. I could smell my own but ....I could smell his blood, I could taste it. my wings were ripped and torn and my skin covered in deep dark gashes but I didn't care...He was there beside me. Cold...." He trailed off "Shit." He swore under his breath as he put his head in his hands and tried to control the images and the smell, even now he could still taste it. He didn't know what he felt; anger, fear, sadness, pain or regret. Maybe it was all of them or none of them but right now it hurt to not know and yet he knew it would hurt to know.

((wow that was a long post...sorry xxx))

The magician felt paralyzed, his body unmoving, just the sound of Yasuo telling his story filled the room. Jasper didn't know what he was supposed to feel. Sympathy, anger, remorse, or just sadness. Maybe he wasn't meant to feel anything at all. He just knew, this made him feel nothing but anger on the inside. This man sounded horrible, a devil made into the form of a man. No, that was an exaggeration, it seemed like a quick personality change over something. It sounded as if when the book was being written, all was well. The book, he was starting to resent the book because the author was a terrible person to his lover. He loved that book because he felt like he had a sort of connection to the author, now he didn't. He felt nothing but sympathy for letting his control get the better of him. What a foolish man. Guess he found good burning material to practice his magic on.

Blood. Yasuo spilled the blood of his former lover. It sent chills down Jasper's spine knowing that this man really could kill if he needed too. Then again, it warranted for it. He was on death's door, survival instinct will kick in. He's alive because he saved himself, it was something the demon should be happy for. A cruel human walking the earth won't be alive forever, they should be stopped in their tracks of taking innocent lives with them. When he opened his mouth to speak, it quickly shut as the high pitched whistle of the teakettle filled the room. He retrieved cups from the cupboards, putting green tea bags in two of them, as he poured hot water into each cup. He set Yasuo's tea in front of him as he sat down in front of the other, slowly sipping his own.

"Yasuo," he said softly, trying to catch the attention of the man in distress. "I can't fix the past, nor can I mend what he has done. I have very little to offer to ease that pain, if you'll still have me, I can make the future brighter. I don't know what to say about all of this, I guess I'm just shocked." His breaths were becoming shaky as tears started to roll down his face. "Why?" Was all he mumbled as he tried to wipe them away. It felt as if he was crying for the other, since he didn't seem to want to grow by himself. He was crying for Yasuo, not only that, he felt guilty he was pushing the other about being bound. It was for his own safety, it must have been a habit. "I'm sorry. I was so rude to you about... I'm sorry Yasuo." He set his hand down on the table as he quietly cried, the tears falling down the left side of his face that was down. Now he knew so much about the other, that wall was finally destroyed. He was happy, sad, angry, and guilty. Too many emotions to convey at once.

((Mine was too! I'm sorry as well. Aha.))

Yasuo took the tea and sipped it. The burning heat helped to release him from his sins, it was ironic really, demons were considered the doers of all evil and sin and yet here he was completely messed up over this one sin he had committed, it was pitiful really. But he couldn't change it and he never would. He would carry the burden of this all his life no matter how long it was and he would not let it leave him. He had to remember or the life was worthless, the act was worthless. He drank the tea again letting it burn away his pain just a little. He looked up, the sun was higher in the sky and the red tint to it was almost mocking him, as if the Gods were laughing down upon him, amusing themselves with his misfortune and ill considered actions. And yet to further his pain Jasper was crying. He hadn't wanted that. He had wanted to explain to the other, not to make him more upset. His mind was in a confused mess and he couldn't think properly let alone form a coherent sentence, the things that came into his head were sporadic and held no pattern but he couldn't focus either, try as he might it just wouldn't work.

"It's not your fault, you didn't know and..well...it's not like I did it for your benefit, I don't think I would do anything to anyone just for touching me but the thought of being vulnerable like that...it...it terrify me Jasper. I haven't been able to be physical with anyone since then and that was a number of centuries ago.." He breathed calming himself as he got up and stood behind Jasper, putting his arms around the human and gently lifting his head, wiping the tears away "Don't cry, after all you helped me get this far, I didn't think I would be able to do anything properly, that was why I just teased you, but you got me so caught up in the moment I forgot everything...well..nearly everything." He trailed of as he kissed the top of the males head "It was many years ago."

"Sorry, I couldn't really help it," he said through a weak laugh, quickly turning into sobs. He felt horrible for treating the other so badly when he bound his wrists. Who wouldn't be scarred by something like that? Time didn't always heal wounds, that was a lie. Yasuo still suffered from it and he was extremely old. He tried to stop the tears with deep breaths, smiling when the other kissed the top of his head. His force smile faded as the other spoke up once more. Everything was being laid out, things he wanted to know so bad, now he didn't know what to do anymore. It was so much for him to take in all at once. He was trying to be understanding at the same time as he was trying to keep himself from letting his emotions get the best of his. He didn't need Yasuo to think he was trying to push him away after finding out. Keeping calm after hearing that, it just made him hate his own kind more. How could they be so cruel and uncaring to the feelings of others? Humans were foolish, he was included.

"Just because it was long ago doesn't mean anything, you should know that better than I." Jasper was quiet, looking straight up at the other. This man was his lover, glad he was still around even after what he had been through. Not that he knew everything about the man's past, was it possible for them to move forward and away from his cruel past. "I hope you're fine with me, we can take things as slow as you want. I don't want you to leave, so I'll do anything to have you stay. Don't feel obligated to stay though either. I guess, we just have things to work through."

Yasuo smiled, though it was obvious that it was forced. He knew that Jasper was desperately trying to find the right thing to say but in this situation there was no right thing to say if there was something to say at all. He pulled the other closer to him and wrapped his arms around the male "I know so just stay beside me okay, don't let me leave you." He was terrified of being with the other in case something happened but he knew that if he didn't stay with the male then he might truly go insane and lose his grip on reality, he couldn't lose Jasper as well, he was already far too intoxicated with the human.

He stayed like that for a moment just losing himself in the warmth of his lover, allowing himself to believe that he was cared for by someone, a feeling he hadn't felt, or hadn't allowed himself to feel in a long time. He sighed as he released the other "Look, the sun is up now you should be getting ready for work shouldn't you, I wouldn't want you to live in poverty because of me. Besides my powers are waning and I'm tired to I should return to rest for a little bit." He smiled affectionately at the other and stroked the males cheek. "thank you." He whispered softly, he still didn't understand why after all this the male was still by his side but he was grateful for it none the less.

Jasper clicked his tongue with disappointment when the other brought up him needing to get ready for work, not wanting to be this moment. He was right though, the younger male had work, he needed to make a living for himself no matter how much he hated doing so. Hearing the small thank you sent butterflies into his stomach, making him feel a happy. He wanted to be there for Yasuo as best as he found, giving anything he could possibly offer this man. The demon cast a spell on him the moment they met, the magician was always enticed by him. He himself got caught up just as much as the demon had, most likely going with the flow of the situation at the time. Now he didn't need to worry about that. Every choice he had made wasn't because he went with the flow or instinct, it's because he wanted each and everything to happen. His choices were rationally thought out for the first time in his entire life. Not caring whether or not they did him a good or bad deed. Now he cared so much he though about his choices over and over until he knew truly what he wanted, which was Yasuo.

"That is true, I guess I should," he mumbled softly, his disappointment showing. A pout formed on his lips as he headed to his room to chnshe into his uniform. It took a bit to find his clothes for the cafe, placing them on the wrong hangers by accident. He put his hair up in a small ponytail, tired of the complaining that his hair is too long for them. He was still irritated the sun had to come up and ruin the moment. He went out of the room once he was finished, making sure he looked pristine in the mirror. He hated the idea of going to work, it was boring. However, he needed to be able to support himself, taking on the risk of living alone. Hopefully he wouldn't be spending his days eating alone that much anymore. He finally found something he loved, truly.

Yasuo ruffled the others hair before letting him disappear of to change into his work clothes. It dawned upon him that he didn't actually know what Jasper did to earn money, the male had said that he had a job but had never actually specified what it was. Not that it mattered really. Picking up the mugs Yasuo filled the sink with bubbles and washed everything up before drying it all and putting it back into its rightful place. As he was drying up he noticed that people were slowly starting to get up and go of to work themselves, from the window he could see the neighbours getting into their cars and driving off to wherever they needed to be. He wondered if his lover knew them or if they even knew that the person leaving next door to them was an eighteen year old who had left his parents, it seemed odd of people not to ask about such things but then he had noticed that in some ways over the centuries humans had gotten more nosey but less caring, none of them helped each other any more, all working only for their own good, It was sad.

Sighing he went turned around and wiped clean the table just as Jasper returned "Very dashing" the demon complemented with a wink before saying "I'll try and be back for dinner but if I fall asleep then I might not be so don't wait up for me." He smiled affectionately at the male as he put the cloth back into the sink and let the bubbles and water drain away. "Anyway should be going as well before I collapse from exhaustion." He chuckled and approached the male. "Have a good day my dear." He said before ruffling the males hair teasingly after he had done it so perfectly, he grinned amused before disappearing into another room and then his own realm.

Jasper smiled widely when the other complimented him, his confidence kicking in. He leaned into the touch the other was giving him, until he realized his hair was just ruined. He gave a small goodbye, with a pout when the other had left. He took more time than he needed to fix his hair, redoing it all over again. After he had gotten his hair fixed, he had to make a dash to his workplace, or he'd be late from wasting time. He'd find his own way to pay Yasuo back, or he wouldn't. He would be a bit snotty for him, just for a little bit. He got to the cafe right on time, panting from how fast he had to run. He immediately clocked in, getting to work. He took over a table for one of the serves as the kid went on break. He only did this for part time unless it was on the weekends, then he was doing a full eight hour day. He dreaded how long he was there, serving snobby customers, or girls who just didn't know when to shut up. He couldn't wait to return home, wanting to just sit and relax. He hated dealing with the interaction of people, unsure how he was supposed to be, lucky he even made it through his work. Once his shift had ended, he wasted no time returning home, not daring to stay and get caught by another employee, asking to stay overtime. That was something he always seemed to escape by just a small second from them finding him.

Once the male had returned home, he changed out of his clothes into shorts and a baggy tee. He loved his comfy clothes the best, only wearing the jacket he loved so much when it was cold outside. Today was a warmer day that did not call for that jacket. He needed to still fix it from the burn mark that was on it from Yasuo. They had been through so much in such a little time hadn't they? It was amazing they even made it this far, their personalities not matching up at all. He made a quick stir fry for dinner, getting a plate for himself as he set it on the table. He had made way to much, unconsciously waiting up for his lover, he didn't mean to either, it was just natural for him to cook for two now. He grabbed once of his magic books, the one that belonged to a different offer than the other author he loved so much. Or, he did love his book at some point, now that was gone. He sat down at the table, reading the book as he slowly ate his food. This book wasn't as good as the other one, much simpler, but he had nothing that compared to it. He would just deal with the simple kinds of magic books from now on. He wouldn't dare lay a finger on the book that was tainted by its author's emotions.
