Yukio Takamiya
When Noile stepped back into his room, he was seething with rage. Couldn't the angel see what he was fucking trying to do?! He was more than aware that the way Lancelle spoke was most definitely not an act. What on earth crawled up his ass and died? He didn't understand what Lancelle was trying to say in the first place. The only thing he got was that insult... And what was he supposed to be committed to? Noile didn't understand his anger either, he just knew that whatever Lancelle said really hurt him. He didn't understand what he did wrong to incur such fury from his lover. He thought the angel would understand his purpose for pretending not to know him. Or was it something else...? Unable to take it, Noile punched a hole into the wall. A servant who had been walking by on the other side jumped in fright before scuttling off to warn the others to stay away. Breathing heavily, Noile sat on his bed and gripped the sheets tightly. There was so much anger begging to be released. From the corner of his eye, a turf of blue could be seen through the hole in the wall, followed by mauve eyes. It seems the fledging had heard the commotion and came looking around. "Come in," Noile beckoned to the child and the boy shuffled away from the hole. Just as he started to think how the little demon may have run away instead, the door opened. The fledging walked in slowly, fully aware that Noile wasn't in the best of moods and didn't want to incur more anger from him. He stopped a few feet away from the demon lord and stood there twiddling his thumbs. "Are you afraid of me?" he asked. The boy stood there, not saying a word. "Your name?" Hesitation...then,"Roith." Just then, there was a knock on the door and a meek servant entered. "The King asked for you," she managed to squeak out." Noile nodded and she hurried away after a quick bow. Noile turned back to Roith and placed a hand on his head. "Be good," he instructed and walked off. He arrived at the castle promptly and greeted Kale with a bow. Said King was atop his throne staring down at Noile, ministers lined by his sides. "I expected a report the moment you came back," the King said. "My apologies Your Majesty," I wasn't feeling too good. Kale burst out laughing and Noile stared at him weirdly. He didn't think what he said was all that funny. "By not feeling good, you meant the amount of energy you displayed upon arriving back at your domain?" Noile remained silent. "That angel is really something huh? I almost feared for his life, looking at the way he insulted you. Surprisingly, you managed to hold yourself back from attacking him." "You shouldn't praise an angel Your Majesty," Noile gritted out. He didn't see why Kale was finding this so amusing. "Anyways, reporting, I've taken care of that demon. It seems that the higher realm won't be holding this incident against us," he ended. Kale nodded his head," good job," he paused...then, "at being so polite," then burst out laughing again. Perhaps he shouldn't have bothered being polite at all if he knew that Lancelle was going to flare at him. Clenching his fists, Noile announced his departure and left. Nyuchanxx
Lancelle downed the first pint of spirits he was handed in one, slamming the glass down onto the counter and signalling for the same again. The liquid burnt his throat and made his insides feel warm, almost glowing, but the best part was that he had downed it so fast he could now feel himself being effected already. He noticed Akaba's eyes on him "Well you got that down fast enough, any of that anger gone now? Is it safe for me to talk?" There was a hint of amusement in the others voice that irritated Lancelle but he didn't let it get to him. Sighing he took another sip of the new pint he was handed. "Remember what we talked about a few days past?" The other gave a slight nod to indicate that he remembered. "I think I blew it already....well fucking hell I blew something at any rate!" He laughed sarcastically "It really pisses me off though! I mean he just acted like we had never met and that irritating politeness, I have never seen anyone suck up so hard." If he had been in a better mood the angel would have chuckled at the connotations knowing that Noile probably could suck something else as hard! But he wasn't. Akaba took the opportunity to chip in while Lancelle drank from the glass "But I thought you guys needed to be careful, better safe than sorry right?" "Yer but still, why that safe. It was pathetic, I mean he practically cleaned my shoes with his sweet honey tipped words. But anyway enough, I just want to get drunk and fall asleep in some ditch and regret my life in the morning!" Akaba laughed "cheers to that!" He replied and the two clinked their glasses together before downing the pint. Lancelle narrowly slamming his onto the table before his accomplice. They called for more. ------------------------------------------ When morning came around Lancelle was collapsed on the comfortable bed that he most certainly did not recognise. He rolled over and opened his eyes. The sun blinded him as he did and he groaned shutting them again. His head hurt and he felt pretty ill but for now sleep was better. When he next woke up there was a cup of tea beside him and some bread. Sitting up the angel drank the tea but left the food for fear of feeling worse again. The door opened and in walked a tall slim angel with wings the colour of a deep purple tulip flecked with gold and hair that was kept stylishly short. She wore very little and walked with all the confidence of one in total control. A thought flitted through Lancelle's mind....what couldn't he remember? Yukio Takamiya
When Noile left the castle, he headed straight home but wasn't intent on staying for long. He made sure to grab the fledging, that he would very much like to say that he adopted, and headed for town. He wanted to forget what happened that day, but Noile never drank to forget his troubles. Instead he was fully intent on spending the rest of the day leisurely, the fledging was just for companionship. Currently, said fledging was trembling behind him as they walked, unsure if he was in trouble or not. Noile hadn't exactly been the friendly sort of person since he came and rumors said that he was nasty. Noile turned his head and gave Roith a glance," keep up," he said a walked on. Other demons on the streets were also careful to keep out of their way. The darker realm wasn't exactly the brightest of places and certainly didn't have much excitement, which was why Noile had never roamed its streets when he was free. But he wasn't about to head to the realm above lest he bumped into Lancelle, the bane of his troubles right now. Noile forced himself not to think of the angel and shook his head to clear his thoughts. He didn't know what got Lancelle angry at him for no reason but if he did nothing wrong, Noile didn't think he had an obligation to apologise. A tug on his robe brought him out of his zone and Noile turned to face Roith. "What is it?" Roith clasped his hands together and looked down at the ground. Noile felt his brows start to point downwards again, he didn't like it when the fledging kept quiet when he clearly wanted something. Sighing, he stooped to the boy's level and looked into those deep mauve orbs. "Look, if you keep quiet all the time, I wouldn't know what you need." He was trying his best not to scare the fledging any further. Though normally he was pleased when others feared him, this time he didn't feel quite himself. "I..I need to pee," Roith finally managed to squeak out, a faint tint of pink dusted his little cheeks. Noile stared wide-eyed at him for a moment, trying to see if he actually heard correctly. Finally, he couldn't resist the small smile that appeared on his face. The kid looked quite adorable being so embarrassed about wanting to go to the toilet. Noile gently picked up the fledging, letting the boy sit on his arm and headed into the closest store. The store was actually a small inn and the owner jumped slightly upon seeing the demon lord. Noile released the boy and let him find his way to the toilet himself. "Let the kid use the loo, in the mean time, what do you have on the evening menu?"
