Name: Hinata Kurata

Age: 20

Sexuality: Gay

Hair: Black and silky

Eyes: Blue with a midnight hue

Personality: Calm and typically introverted in public, he may classify as a doormat to pushy people wanting to copy his homework assignments, but with his friends, he's quite playful who can easily accept jokes directed at himself. He never can hold a grudge against most people, no matter what they've done.

Bio: It was his mistake to come out to his parents about his sexuality. Rather, he should have kept his activities more private. They found out he liked other males when his mother walked in on him kissing another boy from school in his room. Both his parent's distanced themselves away from him, no longer giving him the same love that they had before. Hinata kept his pain to himself and didn't let this change get to him. He continued to work hard in school and managed to get into college. His parents gave him money for a small apartment near the college in order to get him out of their hair... He took that opportunity to finally get a pet, adopting a small black cat named Lavey (nickname for Lavender, the color of her eyes).

Likes: Food in general, animals, beer, laughing, Mecha/ robot themed manga and movies, and his crush, reading

Dislikes: Fighting with others, food getting on his clean clothes, being stalled, and loud motorcycles

Hinata didn't think that his backpack could get any heavier than it already has, but he was wrong when he came out of the school library with an extra two books that he needed to read from for an class discussion in three weeks. This college was tough... well, the things he took was the tough part. Literary history on top of general studies. He wanted to be able to write books in the future since he liked creating ideas in his head, but all this work was putting out his flame to the point he might switch out for something else. It was already too late in the year for that, so he'd either have to keep doing this and suck it up or wait until the next semester started. It would be a whole year of wasting his time and money, but he was't going to peruse something he didn't want to do anymore. With the stress of having to make a choice at some point, he lost his focus on walking and nearly tripped on the concrete. He'd most likely be dead if he fell and death wasn't one of the options he was thinking of.

Staggering up, he looked around to see if anyone saw him. Instead he saw him again. Hinata stopped his walking and saw his biggest guy crush on campus walking all by himself, which was completely rare since he always had girls or friends flocking him. Being such a prince, he bet that the times relaxing being by himself were missed. Hinata didn't know how it felt to be popular, because he was too focused on his hard studies to be chatting it up with others, so even if he had a nice face, girls knew there wasn't any kind of affection they could mooch from him. He liked it that way actually, but he did get lonely sometimes. The last guy he was with was in senior year and it was only one hook up at night with the two of them tipsy. It wasnt a bad night, but he'd rather have gotten something out of it besides having his underwear wet.

He swallowed and shoved his hands deeper into his pockets with nervousness. Should I try talking with him? It wouldn't be completely random to talk to him since they had a few classes together. They spoke a few times and could be considered 'acquaintances'. He hoped that's how the prince saw them as at the very least. Hinata looked around again, but this time to see if any of the other man's friends were going towards him. When the coast was clear, he bit down on his nervousness and decided to go approach him, catching up with him and walking at his pace.

"Um, hey!" He gave a greeting smile with a small fringe of red over his cheek, "Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you'd like to hang out sometime after school. We haven't spoken much out of class and I thought maybe we can get to know each other more!" He laughed, wiling to give him all of his assignment work for their classes or give his soul to Satan just to let this go well, even if he was rejected. He didn't want this to turn out weird.

Name(s):

Ryosuke Kitamura || Yusuke Kitamura

Age:

Twenty-Two

Sexuality:

Bisexual

Hair:

Dyed Red & unkempt

Eyes:

Amber

Personality:

PLAYFUL : GENEROUS : FORGETFUL : SECRETIVE

Ryosuke has been a popular figure among crowds for as long as he can remember and the main reason he attracts people is because Ryosuke is a naturally fun loving person. The playful and carefree attitude he carries makes most people forget about their own troubles and it makes him more appealing that way. Though he may seem perfect to most Ryosuke hides himself well from others, he often times lies and keeps secrets from the ones closest to him.

CRUEL : AGGRESSIVE : PROTECTIVE : HONEST

Another part of Ryosuke is Yusuke, a hot tempered and cruel young man who doesn't care what most people think. Yusuke, unlike Ryosuke, is quick to solve his problems with violence and has a lack of sympathy for people. However Yusuke is quite honest, he doesn't appreciate lies like Ryosuke does. He also is protective but this can easily be depicted as possessiveness as well.

Bio:

As a young boy of seven years old, Ryosuke was adopted by a family of four. A mother, father, an older sister, and an older brother. No one told him however that he was brought into the family as a gift to their mother, who had recently suspected her husband of cheating. It wasn't a baby but Ryosuke was charming enough as a young child to make his mother's heart melt. But the heart melting didn't last for long. Ryosuke grew up feeling ignored by his family, like he was the puppy they bought to entertain themselves with for a while but soon after it would be forgotten. Yusuke's arrival wasn't until a few years later and caused havoc in the usually calm household, he frightened their siblings and worried their parents. Ryosuke doesn't know why Yusuke was created but he knows he's kind of grown alongside him, they even talk to one another inside their thoughts. Now they attend college far away from home and major in game design.

Likes:

Ryosuke - Manga; Rain; Korean Dramas; K-Pop; Sweets; Video Games;

Yusuke - Violence; Crime Shows; Rain; Cats; J-Rock; Junk Food; Video Games;

Dislikes:

Ryosuke - Controversy; Rabbits; Pain; Blood;

Yusuke - Lies; Indie Music; Manga; Dentists; Healthy Foods;

Other:

Bandages - They sometimes cover his face, he likes to tell his friends that they are a cool look on him or his cat scratched him but in reality it's Yusuke. Yusuke has a habit of hitting their face against a wall or hitting their face with their fists when in a dispute with each other.

Cat- Doesn't actually own one though Yusuke loves them.

College was a dream come true. It felt so refreshing to be away from his family, if one could call them that. But no doubt they were enjoying their freedom as much as Ryosuke was. The redhead grinned softly to himself, Even Yusuke enjoys himself here at times, he thought as he continued to walk in silence. Where was he walking to? He wasn't quite sure himself, he just wanted to get away from his friends for the moment because even their company could become a bit suffocating at times. It wasn't that he wanted to be alone, he was never alone with Yusuke always at the back of his head muttering something. It wasn't that Yusuke was a totally different person compared to Ryosuke, some could see it that way but Ryosuke was determined that they both were one and the same. Two-halves that separated a long time ago and now have forgotten how to reconnect.

Ryosuke was whipped out of his own thoughts upon hearing a somewhat familiar voice calling to him, he looked over his shoulder and saw a young man he shared a math class with. What was his name? Ryosuke felt bad for not remembering the young mans name right away but to be fair they have conversed on only a few occasions. He thought for a moment and then it came to him. Hinata! Hinata Kurata. A Sophomore in college, an classmate who sometimes asked for help with math problems in class. Ryosuke never paid too much attention to Hinata but he was pretty sure Hinata had an eye on him. Or he's just imagining things. Only Hinata knew the true answer. Though that tiny blush spread across his face told Ryosuke all he needed to know.

Hinata sure seemed nervous and excited all at the same time, it was kind of amusing to watch. Ryosuke grinned for a quick second and then suddenly replaced it with a devious smirk. "Hang out? Well maybe if you give me twenty dollars." He placed his open palm out, acting as if he was waiting for Hinata to really give him money but after a moment he reached his hand out further and wrapped it around the dark haired boy's shoulder, pulling him closer to Ryosuke. "Just kidding Hinata! You look like the type to be easily bullied so I wanted to have some fun. Was I too mean, Hinata?" The redhead grinned playfully towards the shorter boy held under his arm, he knew if looks could kill then Hinata would definitely be dying in his arms. Why was Ryosuke doing such things? He wasn't sure, it was kind of fun though to be honest. "Ah! But I'd love to hang out Hinata, just give me your number."

Hinata laughed almost pitifully because of the fact he'd happily give Ryoske money in exchange for his time. He wasn't too gullable, but things got cloudy in his mind being this close to him, even more so being under his royal wing. Did he really look like the kind of person to be bullied? Directly bullied, maybe not, but all throughout his years of schooling, he was often 'persuaded' into giving his answers to others. Hinata was very glad his sexuality was a secret, or else he was sure that he would have gotten bullied in far worse ways. If that was the case, he would probably be more of a cruel person towards others, not that he wasn't already sliiightly like that. It wasnt... too dissatisfying seeing how poorly those cheaters performed on tests and in-school assignments... But no. Holding grudges was bad and he did in fact believe karma existed. Those work-stealers bad karma was getting bad grades on tests. That was enough for him.

"Uh, number?" His lips pressed against each other in brief confusion until he understood he wanted his phone number, "Number! Yeah, no problem!" Hinata didn't like how he was becoming a little mindless because of the attention he was getting from the red headed prince. If he acted like a fumbling fool, that's exactly what Ryosuke would think of him. Going into his pocket, he got nothing. In his other pocket, there was nothing.

"Oh. I think I left my phone at my apartment." He forgot to bring it every once in a while. Hina wasn't a morning person and was even more mindless in the morning. That's what happens when you study and read all night long... It got him passing grades, but it cost him a functional morning. "Can I get yours instead? I've got a good memory, so I wouldn't forget it. I'll be sure to give you a text as soon as I get my phone in my hands." With his eyebrows raised, he gave an apologetic smile that lasted about five seconds before his eyes advert end away. Ryosuke's Amber eyes made him dizzy. They were so beautiful and unique, if he looked at him for too long, he feared he wouldn't be able to look away.

The redhead watched as the younger boy dug into his own pockets in search of his cell phone. Ryosuke had not expected him to be the kind of guy to become absent minded but it was interesting. A person could only speculate what another person may be but then get to know them enough to see that their speculations were not entirely correct. Ryosuke was a perfect example, most people thought of him as charming and friendly but he lies constantly and has a trouble trusting others. He really wasn't what other's expected, not even counting in Yusuke as one of those unexpected things about him. The redhead nodded his head with a smile flashed towards Hinata, he finally let his arm fall off Hinata's shoulders and slipped his hand into his pocket. "It's okay. My numbers 793-####, got it?"

Ryosuke wasn't the kind of guy who let people close to him and it wasn't because of Yusuke, it was because he couldn't trust people due to the fact that he believed most people were generally selfish. When someone adopts a child they are supposed to do it because they want to give love to a child who has lost their parents or has never known the feeling. He expected that once he was adopted that his new family would love and they did...but only for a short period of time and then they forgot about him. This gave Ryosuke the impression that no person could be trusted with his feelings, even his closest friends are distanced from him to a degree. Looking at Hinata now he had no doubt in his mind that this person also couldn't be trusted, he adored Ryosuke now but he'd soon tire of him and disappoint the redhead by doing so. I have no reason to get my hopes up, he thought as he looked at Hinata. Having someone adore him as much as Hinata did was nice but that would end soon.

"Ah! I should get going to my next class. I'll talk to you later Hinata." Ryosuke smiled as he walked past the shorter boy, after a few feet away he suddenly swung his body around and began walking backwards as he shouted to Hinata. "Hinata! Don't forget to text me, okay? You'll make me cry if you do!" The redhead grinned cheerfully as he waved off to the raven haired male and then turned his body around again, slipping his hands into his pockets as he made his way to his next class.

Ryosuke, propping his head onto the palm of his hand as he stared at nothing in particularly, sat in a room of 100 other students and listened on and off to the professor giving the lecture of his language class. His golden colored eyes often glanced at his phone on the desk, he found himself wondering when Hinata would text him and what the shorter male wanted to do. Hinata had said he wanted to hang out, Ryosuke wondered where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do. The ringing of the bell brought Ryosuke out of his thoughts, he had no idea what his language professor had assigned for homework but he wasn't that concerned at the moment. The redhead grabbed his phone and walked out of the classroom, peeking at his phone as he walked through the halls, waiting for the text from the raven haired boy who adored him.

Hinata waved back with a sloppy smile, one a man would have if he was unsure if he was in a dream or in actual reality. He got his number, they agreed to hang out and Ryosuke said he'd cry if he didn't text him. A figure of speech, that wasn't misunderstood, but it was too mind blowing for him to actually have gotten this courage and have gotten his crush to be so friendly towards him off the bat. Hina bit his lip and rolled up the sleeve to his light sweater, pinching his arm. It hurt and he didn't wake up. He put down his sleeve with his eyes wide with shock and before he knew it, his face boiled up like a steaming tea pot. He laughed, flustered, and felt light on his toes, going over the phone number he got from Ryo as he started to go off back home, done with his classes for the day.

"Meoow!" A small black cat jumped off the sofa once she heard the door open with Hinata coming in. Hina smiled seeing her get up to greet him. "Hey, girl," he leaned down to stroke her head, the feline bumping affectionately against his leg, "You give me so much love when I come home and barely any other time. You're too tsundere..." And just as he said that, Lavey gave him a stare and then walked off with her tail high and snooty. He shook his head, putting down his bag on his way to the table, not caring about it more than his phone at this point. There was his phone and he immediately started to put in the number given to him. It was burned into his memory by now, so he didn't doubt what he typed in was wrong. Saving the number with the name, Hinata felt his face get hot again when he opened up the new message screen.

Okay, so now what am I going to write?! Hinata took himself to the sofa, sitting down and staring at the phone as if it would type a normal, causal message itself. Biting his finger, he kept thinking for a long time. A long time. He shouldn't come off strong. He didn't want to write anything weird either. Nor something too lifeless.

Hello! Its Hinata, I finally go my phone lol. I won't forget it again, I'm sorry ^^; I was thinking along the way that maybe you'd like to come over and play games or study, but that isn't too fun, right? Unless you have other suggestions, I don't mind doing whatever you'd like! :D

Hinata read over his message and sighed. It wasn't as calm sounding as he wanted it to... "This'll take forever."

The cat had taken her place back on the high cushions of the sofa, but she was watching her owner stare at the phone and not give any attention to her. Being the attention-hungry kitty she was, she jumped off and into his lap with an enticing purr. "Lavey!" He got scared with her jumping on him and, um. He sent the text message. "N-Noo!!"

Ryosuke grabbed a small bag of BBQ chips off the shelf in the convenient store and moved to the back to grab a 7-up from the fridge. On his way home Ryosuke had decided to buy some snacks and stopped at the small convenient store he regularly visited on days when he knew there was nothing in the fridge at his house. A bad habit of any college student was their diet, the redhead sometimes found it too much of a hassle to go to a grocery store and buy more nutritional foods so the alternative was snacks from convenient stores. The redhead wasn't sure what he would do after leaving the convenient store, he didn't want to go back to his house or go to another friends house because he was anxiously waiting for Hinata's text. Ryosuke was looking forward to a change in pace, his other friends were okay but Hinata was different from most of them, who were all athletic and talkative while Hinata...Well Ryosuke didn't know much about him other than he was adored by the shorter male.

Bzzz. The inside of the young man's pocket vibrated, placing his drink and bag of chips onto the counter for the cashier to check out. He dug out his phone from his pocket and unlocked the screen to look at the message he had just received.

Hello! Its Hinata, I finally go my phone lol. I won't forget it again, I'm sorry ^^; I was thinking along the way that maybe you'd like to come over and play games or study, but that isn't too fun, right? Unless you have other suggestions, I don't mind doing whatever you'd like! :D

Adorable. Ryosuke began typing away on the keypad, replying to the message. The way Hinata was so formal in his text was pretty cute and he also seemed to be the submissive type or at least that's what Ryosuke picked up from the message, it wasn't a bad thing because Ryosuke loved to be in control.

Hina~Chan!! I got really worried (´Д` ) I didn't get a text right away so I thought you had second thoughts but I'm happy you're okay!! ヾ(≧∇≦*)ゝ Anyway~ Let's play some video games at your place Hina~Chan!! You live at the apartment complex near the train station correct? I'll bring snacks over so wait for me, won't you? (*^▽^*) See ya soon Hina~Chan!!

Ryosuke turned around and bought more snacks for the night he would have with Hinata. He enjoyed playing video games very much and hopefully Hinata was a decent player, it would be no fun if the raven haired male wasn't a formidable opponent. The redhead checked out his items and paid the cashier, leaving the convenient store with two bags in his hands. Hinata now knew that his crush was on the way to his house, Ryosuke bet that stirred Hinata up a bit so he decided to push it a little further. Ryosuke took out his phone once more, typing away quickly before sending the text to Hinata as he walked towards his destination.

Hina~Chan, the way you text is too adorable ♡(◜ω◝)♡ Okay, I'm on my way!!

Slipping his phone back into his pocket Ryosuke walked all the way to Hinata's place, it was only two blocks away from the convenient store in the opposite direction of his own house. The only reason the redhead even knew where Hinata lived was because a friend of his who loved to throw party's lived in that same apartment complex and Ryosuke had seen Hinata at one of those party's but he did not look like he had enjoyed himself.

After asking the landlord, Ryosuke had found the room number where the raven haired male lived. "Hina~Chan!!" He knocked on the door, carrying two bags filled with snacks and waited patiently outside the door for Hinata to answer.

Tears were in his eyes seeing the message send, pushing Lavey off his lap, "Lavender, you made me send that! I can't believe you!" Hinata looked over the sent message one more time, feeling actual pain inside of his heart, whimpering, "It's horrible!" The feline hopped away, looking back at her owner with her tail up as if she were proud of getting this kind of attention. Ryosuke was right. People walked over him to get what they wanted and so did his six month old cat. How pathetic was that?

"Gosh..." He leaned back, dropping the phone down in his lap so he could cover his face. When his cell started to buzz and do its text jingle, Hina jumped because he forgot that the message was eventually going to have a response to it. He scrambled to get it back in his hands and to read the message, completely forgetting about his self pity while reading the words.

The way he wore with the emojis was so cute and he even put a wiggly line there in Hina-Chan! He smiled and put the phone to his forehead, cover come with redness. Ryosuke was so adorable in so many ways, it made Hinata loose his sense. "He's coming over... He's coming over!" He paused.

"... He's coming over... Ahh!"

Hinata dropped his phone again and got up to get some cleaning supplies. His apartment was relatively clean, but from doing a homework streak, there there lots of papers on his table and books in random places. In the kitchen, in the bathroom, there was one he left in one of the cabinets because... He didn't remember... He just had to get it all clean and out of sight fast.

Lavender sat on the table, watching him go back and forth from the living room to his room, then the kitchen to his room, then to start vacuuming. Wait, the vacuum?! The cat jumped down and ran away somewhere else, knowing that machine made too much noise and it ate everything in its path. Hinata had to suck up all the cat hair that was on his couch, he wouldn't forgive himself if Ryosuke came over and started to react to an allergy. If he had one that is. But it was keeping things clean anyways!

The vacuum was loud so he didn't hear his phone, but he say it light up. Another text? Oh no! He forgot to reply back to his text!! Hinata opened it up and read over the message. Once. Twice... Three times. "No! The way you text is cuter!" He turned red all over again, working faster to get the place clean.

Clean might be an understatement. Hinata might come across as the OCD type with how spic and span the apartment was, but he only cleaned around every once in a while. His heart was still racing fast, from the nervousness of having Ryo coming over and desperately trying to clean everything as fast as he could. When he was done, he sat on the sofa, exhausted. Almost immediately, Lavey jumped on his lap and sat there as if she owned him. Hinata couldn't be mad at a cat for wanting attention, that's what they did. He couldn't be mad at her, nor anyone for wronging him. That's just how he was. Petting the black cats back, he picked up his phone to look at the time and remembered how he forgot to text back again. He wasn't a good text messenger honestly, he preferred talking face to face or calling... Lavey purred loudly, being calm and content, but after a minute, he noticed her look to the door with her ears perked up. Then she hopped off and ran away. "Huh?"

The door knocked right after the cat was gone and he knew it was Ryosuke now and he couldn't just be blushing up in flames anymore. Hinata took a deep breath and closed his eyes, mumbling quietly to himself, "We're hanging out, be cool. Be normal... There's no need to be so nervous... He's a good person..." The young man got up and went to the door to stop Ryosuke from waiting out there any longer.

Smiling, he perfectly succeeded in relaxing enough to keep his face from being red anymore and he opened up the door invitingly, "Ryosuke-san! I'm sorry that I didn't reply back to you, I had to clean up around here, it was kind of a dump," laughing, he gestured inside, "You can leave the stuff on the coffee table and just... Uh, you can just take a seat anywhere you'd like!" He should have at least told him his actual address. The older man must have asked someone for his door. How rude of Hinata...

Ryosuke-san? That made Ryosuke sound like an older and respectable person, he was older but not respectable. He was the same as most college students, let work slide by until the last minute and party when he should be studying. "Eh, Ryosuke-san sounds too formal Hina-Chan. You can call me Ryosuke or Ryo, you know." The redhead made his way inside the apartment as Hinata gestured for him to come inside, he was immediately drawn to the living area where they would play some video games. He set down the two bags full of snacks onto the coffee table and crouched down at the front of the television to get a good look at the kind of video games Hinata had. He dug through the pile of games noting that Hinata's selection was surprisingly good and then he found the crown jewel of the whole collection.

"Woah!! Hina-Chan, you have Counter Deception?!" Those amber eyes turned towards the raven haired male, he was mostly surprised that Hinata was able to get his hands on this game. Ryosuke remembers waiting in the cold rain to get his hands on a copy but they sold out and a week after it was announced they would no longer make anymore copies of the game due to the creator becoming upset with the outcome. There wasn't a lot of people he knew who had the game, most people sold their copies to nerds who kept them on display instead of playing the game. Ryosuke stood up from the floor and moved towards the raven haired male, showing the game in his hand. "Can we play this one? Please Hina-Chan!" He was almost begging, he knew some people could be a bit possessive over the well being of their games and Hinata could be the same way.

Suddenly the redhead was distracted from the video game, he felt something rub against his leg and it almost made him jump. Looking down Ryosuke saw the black cat look up at him and meow. Ryosuke wasn't much of a fan for cats, he personally preferred big dogs like the one he had as a child. They were more comforting than cats, he also didn't like cats because they scratch for no good reasons. "Hina-Chan likes cats huh?" It reminded Ryosuke of the time he once got a cat, well he didn't actually get it. Yusuke had gotten it and Ryosuke tried to withstand it but he gave the cat to a friend and made Yusuke really upset to the break of tears. "I used to have a cat but in truth I like big dogs much more than cats. Though cats are nice. He doesn't scratch does he?" The redhead knelt down and picked up the black cat in his arms, petting the cat behind her ears. "Does he have a name?" Ryosuke asked as he sat down on the sofa in the living area, he comforted the cat as he looked at Hinata, completely forgetting about the video game for the moment.

He could have been calling Ryo something more formal, like Prince Charrming or Mr. Charming-sama. Many things other than Ryosuke-san... But his wishes won't be ignored. Ryosuke and Ryo it was. He saw the red head so high in his eyes only because he had a crush for him. He was sure to get a better sense of the fact he was a nice, normal person just like himself at the end of spending time together, but until then, his nerves were still up the walls and Ryo was still high on a pedisteal. Hinata bet that as soon as he stopped seeing him that highly, he'd be able to act more controlled.

When he saw those eyes of him shine from seeing his most prized game, he felt like he was getting a golden award. He was one of the people who made sure to be at the beginning of the line to the game store in order to get dibs on first copies on new hyped games. He was very surprised that the game failed to continue selling after just a week, making the title rare and a treasure... But Hinata didn't care much for that. It was a game he really wanted, so he enjoyed playing it. He didn't keep the plastic, or polish the disc every few days, nothing like that. Only when Ryo begged to him did he feel like he was extremely lucky to have it. Actually, it made him feel encouraged! Hinata didn't play games often, but he was extraordinarily skilled with a controller.

"Big dogs?" He asked with some hesitation. He was a cat person because dogs were too hyperactive for his taste. A big dog would be wild! "Um... Yeah, I'm just a cat person," he smiled and patted the feline on her head, "Lavender is her name, but I call her Lavey. You don't need to worry about her scratching you, she's well behaved." The cat looked at Hinata and jumped away almost immediately as if it was his touch that repelled her. "If anything, she's a little rude..." It was cute how she had been sitting on his lap, demanding his attention just before Ryo got here, yet she jumped away as soon as he touched her. Hinata loved cats, but he didn't understand how this one worked. He laughed and picked up the video game that Ryosuke forgot about.

"So, you wanted to play this right?" What kind of question was that... Of course he did. "I'll put in the game now and we can start it right away! I hate to brag but..." He smiled sheepishly, taking the game to the game system under the television to switch out discs, "I'm really good at video games! It's possible that I can give you a chance, but I still hope that you'll be able to keep up..." Bragging wasn't his thing, but he thought that it would be nice to give Ryo a little tease.

"Oh, Lavender's a girl." The redhead petted the black feline a few more times before she decided to jump off after Hinata touched her. She did seem to have an attitude with Hinata and he thought it was a little cute that Lavender was rude towards Hinata. But dogs were definitely the better option when choosing a household pet, in Ryosuke's opinion anyway. His attention was brought back to the video game as Hinata put in the disc, he also took notice to the younger male's cockiness. Ryosuke was majoring in game design, he worked with and played video games practically everyday. Seeing Hinata brag was cute no doubt but the redhead couldn't help to grin at the thought of how badly he was going to kick Hinata's ass at this game.

"That's adorable but I've been playing video games since I was eight years old, it was the only thing that kept me company so I have more experience than you Hina-Chan!!" Ryosuke grabbed a controller from the coffee table and leaned back into the couch as his amber eyes glued to the screen. Hinata was really amusing, he was trying to be cute by bragging and it worked but Ryosuke was certain he would beat the younger male. Of course there might have been a small disadvantage for Ryosuke because he simply had never played the video game but he was a pro, he'd be perfectly capable of handling Hinata on a one on one. The main menu of the game presented it's self and Ryosuke chose a team of three for him to control, each with their own special ability as well as faults. The goal of the game is to either complete the assigned mission given or defeat the opposing players before they can accomplish their missions. "Hina-Chan, to make this even more fun, if I win I get to ask you anything I want and you have to answer truthfully, okay!" The redhead didn't even wait for the raven haired male to answer, he pressed the 'start' button.

Soon the two boys were playing a deadly match, switching from one character to another and dealing hard attacks. The redhead was in the zone, Hinata wasn't as bad as he expected and maybe even a little good but there was no way he'd let Hinata beat him. The redhead ruled at video games and he intended to keep it that way. What would he ask Hinata? Well obviously he would ask the younger male if he had a crush on someone and to name the person. Cruel? Of course it was but Ryosuke never claimed to be the nice guy all the time, he was more playful than anything and teasing Hinata was pretty fun for Ryosuke.

Ryo Has Been Defeated!!

The television boomed announcing the loser of the game and then moving on to saying Hinata Wins!! Had he been in so much thought that he had forgot to play the game properly? No, Hinata was just as good as he teased to be and it made Ryosuke feel foolish. Now Hinata could ask him any question he wanted but it would probably something cute like 'do you have a girlfriend?' or 'would you ever consider dating a guy?'. Losing didn't feel great but it was nothing to get upset about, the redhead sighed softly as he set down the controller and turned towards Hinata. "I guess this means you can ask me some questions Hina-Chan but please don't make them too embarrassing." He said grinning towards the younger male and then leaning over to grab a bag of chips from the coffee table.

His cockiness wasn't actually just to be boastful, it was also a genuine warning that he was good. Really good. He had been playing games a lot as a kid, but he didn't play them consecutively for days at time. Hinata was great at picking up certain in-game skills easily, trial and error being the way he learned how to be good at each game he played, RPGs, racing games, FPSs... He was a star player, attributing his skills for his innate ability to pick up on things fast. Both in game and in real life... And it was that skill that made him question why Ryosuke only had the comfort of video games to keep him busy. What was that about exactly?

Hinata didn't like asking questions that might be a bit too deep, no matter how curious he felt about the subject. This being his special crush, he definitely wouldn't just suddenly bring up an uncalled for question out of the blue. No he wouldn't do that. Getting into other people's business wasn't his thing. Or maybe that was why he didn't have deep friendships that ever went personal or emotional. Not like it needed to be... The only people he got very close with with the first boy he kissed and their short lived relationship ended as soon as it began. The kiss they had was their first and last before his mother came in and saw them. The two of them didn't talk anymore because the both of them were kind of ashamed and scared of being caught. It was a huge shame because they had been good friends before the romance blossomed.

Well. But if he really wanted to get close to Ryo, it couldn't just be the kind of relationship where they play games and eat snacks. They'd never grow together if it was just that. That's why Hinata was thankful for the red heads suggestion. "Got it. But don't forget you're subject to that if I win too," he smiled and wiggled his fingers over the controller to get a quick feel of it again, he hasn't played this game In a while because of work. He hoped he wasn't too rusty... And he was a little, which was why Ryosuke had felt challenged. If he has replayed this game yesterday, he wouldn't be a challenge. He'd be impossible to beat. It was a good thing that this first round was the warm up, he was sure he'd get all of his God-like skills back in the very next round.

Winning, he knew what he wanted to say, but he wasn't very confident if he really should... Hinata just chuckled and nodded at first, "Nothing embarrassing. I got it..." Which was weird because when he had taken a glance at Ryo while they played, the look on his face didn't seem like he was going to ask anything NOT embarrassing. Hinata knew he was the teaser type and he was playful, so he left it at that. Hinata wouldn't ask anything embarrassing, he wasn't like that at all.

"I... I can't really imagine you being alone at any point in your life," he looked away from Ryosuke for a moment, his eyes down at his controller instead, "Um. How come you only had games to keep you company? Didn't you have friends, Ryosuke?" He gulped and gave himself courage to look back at him. If he was going to be asking questions like these, he should at least give the older guy his full attention. Honestly, he couldn't see Ryosuke as a kid being alone. He imagined a rambunctious little kid who had everyone in his class admire him, just like he would notice in their classes.

I can't really imagine you being alone. Of course he couldn't imagine it. The Ryosuke now was always surrounded by people, he filled people with smiles and was loved even though he believed it to be temporary. No one understood Ryosuke the way Yusuke wanted them to but Ryosuke liked the distance he kept between himself and others. No one would ever believe that under his grin was a boy trying his best to keep his past in the past and ones that claimed to care for him far from him. The redhead had been hurt as a child, his family doted on him for a year and then slowly cared less and less about him.

The usually gleeful redhead was now staring down at his hands as he was deep in thought, he tried recalling those family moments that made people smile. Ryosuke's older sister often times dressed him up in her clothes and played tea parties, his older brother introduced him to video games and let him sleep in his bed when he was too scared as a child to left alone, his mother reminded him everyday how cute and precious he was, and his father...well he was there. Ryosuke made them happy and in return they made Ryosuke happy, he felt very loved and lucky that he had found a wonderful family to be apart of. But the feeling of being wanted and loved did not last as long as he hoped, his family soon forgot about him and neglected him after a full year of adoring him. Ryosuke had no choice other than to console with materialistic items, he wasn't able to trust other children or adults when his own family had decided that he was no longer worthy of their affection.

The thought of his so called family made his blood boil and somewhere inside he knew Hinata meant no harm by asking about his childhood but he didn't want to think rationally or clearly. He's just like the rest of them, he only thinks I'm some kind of perfect guy. Hina-Chan won't be satisfied with the other parts of me... Thoughts poured into his mind, all he could think about was how he was never good enough for anyone and that he only disappointed them.

He doesn't care about you, you're a liar.

The redhead glanced over towards Hinata, he stared with no expression until a devilish grin was spread across his face. He let the controller slip from his hands and quickly leaned over to grab the raven haired male by the jaw. Their faces inches apart from each other as those once lovely amber eyes that now seemed sinister stared into Hinata's. "He didn't have friends because he couldn't trust anyone....that and because everyone was afraid of me, Yusuke." Yusuke was grinning devilishly, he moved his hand that held Hinata's jaw to intertwine into the others raven colored hair. He fondled the boys hair for a moment before his face lacked expression once more and pulled tightly on the shorter males hair. "I don't really like you."

Hinata frowned after asking his question, Ryo's silence making it obvious he might have crossed a line... He felt bad about it because it shouldn't have been a question he ask on the first day of the two of them hanging out like real friends. It wasn't like he'd expect him to get trapped in thought. He might have been expecting something that would avoid the deepness of the question, but really, he didn't know what he was going to get as a response. And looking at Ryosuke lost in his head, it made him think of something not so very unexpected.

He really wanted to know why now. He wanted to know so he could possibly give him a few words or tell him how he might be really happy to have a lot of friends now, or anything that would seem like something right to say. Ryosuke was always smiling, him smiling was lodged deep in Hinatas happy place actually, but because he always smiled, he assumed that maybe nobody saw him any other way. What if he was holding onto some heavy luggage that he never talked about with anyone? It must hurt to always force himself to be happy when he wasn't.

Hinata's eyes were rested on Ryosuke with soft, sorry eyes when his gaze was met. Seeing him with no expression like that was unsettling, he was surprised by that. He was about to apologize about bringing up something uncalled for, but he really felt a lump drop in his throat when he blank expression turned into one a lot more sinister. Blinking his wide eyes in shock that were unable to move once he was grabbed, Hinata was ghostly quiet despite his mouth slightly open. He had gotten an evil smirk from Ryosuke before. He had his hand out and wanted money just before he laughed and returned to his normal self. A joke. And what was this now?

His eyes changed so drastically, the color no longer of fire glints, but of moving lava and magma that burns everything in its path. There was nothing funny about that aspect. And for that reason, Hinata was confused and even afraid... But... Then Ryosuke finally answered his question in a strange way. He? He was using 'he' when referring to himself. "I don't und-" he muttered just before his hair was grabbed and pulled roughly. That definitely wouldn't something Ryosuke would do as a joke.

No. Wait. What did he say before? Yusuke? Who was Yusuke? What was going on?

Staring wide-eyes at the red head, the pain coming from his scalp pushed his brain to work a lot faster, making the realization come at him like a truck. It wasn't a joke. This behavior wasn't Ryosuke. He made this happen when he asked about his past. His Prince Charming having two different personalities? He would never have thought that would be he case. Mental illnesses like this were things you saw in movies, or in documentaries... What better way to for life to remind you that it really does exist in real life by having your biggest crush have a second personality that had a fistful of his hair in his grasp?

Hinata was wincing in pain, but he managed to look back at him, gulping before speaking, his voice fragile because he didn't want to make Ryosuke any more upset. Yusuke any more upset. "W-Why not? I'm just trying to be his friend... I am his friend. He can trust me." He wasn't just saying that to seem like a saint. He's wanted to be someone that Ryusuke could be with for a long time. Through thick and thin... Because of that, he chose to say something more bold, "You can trust me too if you want..."

If this was actually a joke, Hinata would seriously recommend Ryosuke going into acting for college instead of games. Sadly, he didn't think this was a joke.

The sound of a young boy wincing in pain was enjoyable to Yusuke's ears, he loved to make others suffer and feel pain. He generally loved to play rough with people and even with Ryosuke, the darker side sometimes scratched their face in retaliation to Ryosuke. The two weren't on the best of terms but Yusuke looked out for Ryosuke all the same and part of his job was to make him a good person. It was strange really that Yusuke, a violent man with no regards to others, has tasked himself with a job to mold Ryosuke. But people only saw the bad parts of Yusuke, violence is a more defining trait in him than what lies underneath the surface of Yusuke so not many people saw the good parts of him.

I am his friend. He can trust me. This made Yusuke frown with unpleasantness, he couldn't believe that Hinata was trying to pull off some act of a saint. Everyone only wanted to keep Ryosuke as a porcelain doll, he made others look good and feel good but there was more to Ryosuke that most people did not want to be apart of. People try to hide this part of Ryosuke and Yusuke doesn't appreciate people forcing the lighter side of him to be a doll. Even Ryosuke is guilty of making himself a doll, always wanting to be happy and hide any other negative emotions. Yusuke had seen this all the time, even their family was guilty of this kind of behavior. Hinata was just like the rest of them, he wanted Ryosuke for his own selfish gains.

You can trust me too. Yusuke was utterly shocked by those words, his eyes widening slightly which didn't seem so menacing anymore and his grip of the boys dark locks loosening. Was that some kind of bad joke? What was Hinata's problem? Is he serious? The redhead looked at Hinata, he was suddenly filled with rage as he examined the boys nervous smile. "What makes you think I want to trust you?" The redhead, his facial expression not looking entertained one bit, pulled Hinata's head back, harshly tugging on the boys hair. He then climbed on top of the younger boy, straddling his lap. "More so, why are you acting so calm Hina-Chan. If Ryosuke really cared about you he would have warned you about me...but he doesn't give a rats ass about anyone." Yusuke smirked as he continued to pull on Hinata's hair, watching with amusement as the boy groaned and winced. He loved watching the other boy squirm, certainly Hinata was having a wondrous time himself. Yusuke grinned as he leaned closer to Hinata, lightly breathing against the others ear as he spoke with a devilish grin. "So give up on your stupid fantasy that you'll win his heart. It's pathetic too watch you try." The redhead laughed lightly to himself, he found Hinata a bit entertaining but ultimately someone to laugh at for being so pathetic. I wanna make him cry, he thought to himself before he stretched the sleeve of Hinata's shirt and bit down onto the boys shoulder until it bleed, making sure to hold him against the couch so he wouldn't hit him.

Honestly, seeing the look of surprise in Yusuke's face gave him a little hope. The hope that he would let go of his hair and let him keep trying to get him to understand he wasn't scared nor willing to walk away from Ryosuke just because he wasn't perfect... He felt the grip on his hair loosen, making his blue eyes twink with hope for a moment. All until he saw the rage on the other's face. The dark of his eyes came back and he let out another painful whimper with his head being pulled back harder. Then the next thing he knew, Yusuke sat on his lap. If this situation was different, his face would be pure red up to his ears. This was incredibly close. He sure was nervous and physically affected, but not in a very good way.

He listened to Yusuke and understood one thing. He was really trying to convince him to forget about Ryosuke. This was his first time spending real time with Ryosuke, it wasn't possible for anyone, not even his second personality, to make those kinds of judgements. Ryosuke not caring about him? He might not care too much about him already since this was the first time really hanging out! More so, why would Ryosuke openly say he had a mental illness? If it were him, he'd keep it to himself because nobody would want to be around him... And that was exactly why Ryo played with video games all the time instead of other kids. Didn't he ever get some kind of medical help or- "Oow!!" Hinata yelped, feeling Yusuke's teeth go right into his shoulder and his train of thought going off the rails.

It was a lot harder to think now, but after another moan of pain, he shook his head and tried to get him to stop with his words since he was unable to do it with his hands, "I-It's not pathetic to be with and care about someone else...! Yusuke, just give me a chance," he still tried to be calm, it being very hard to accomplish without his discomfort leaking into his voice, struggling only making it worse for himself, "Hurts... O-Ow! Please! He needs someone! He's probably wanted that for a long time but you keep him alone, alone with you but he wants other people to trust... He can trust me, I wouldn't hurt him. P-Please trust me too, I won't do him any wrong. I'd never..." Hinata closed his eyes, tearing up, "Yusuke, stop biting m!!"

He was going to get nasty marks from this, that was no doubt. It felt warm in the area now, making Hinata positive he was actually bleeding now. He couldn't believe how violent the person in Ryo's body was. Being beat up would be better than getting bitten this harshly. Though he had a great feeling that he was going to get beat up badly too... It was saddening to think that Ryosuke was alone and in pain for so long that another person was created in his head. Hinata wanted to help and be there for him still. Being bitten was just temporary physical pain, it didn't last as long as the kind of pain one feels from neglect and loneliness. "Please," he sniffed, "Let me be there for Ryosuke..."

Yusuke finally retracted his teeth from the other males shoulder and he left a nasty mark that was oozing blood. His own lips were tainted with some of Hinata's blood as well, he simply brought the end of his sleeve to his lips and wiped the fresh blood away. He pushed himself out of Hinata's lap so he could stand, he reached his hand out towards the raven haired male and placed it on his head. "Don't move." Was all Yusuke said before he disappeared into another part of Hinata's apartment, returning moments later with a small baggie of ice and a wet washcloth. He tossed the bag of ice into the other's lap along with the washcloth as he stood in front of Hinata. "It'll get swollen if you don't put ice on it."

He wasn't doing these sorts of things because Hinata's words had touched his heart or because he believed Hinata wasn't the fool he thought he was. Yusuke was just that way, he would beat the hell out of someone and then give them something to help their wounds. Yusuke took a seat next to Hinata once more, he rested his arm on the back of the couch and glanced over towards the sniffling boy. "I don't trust you....That's why I'm giving you a chance to prove me wrong. You can go ahead and try to be there for Ryosuke but that means you have to deal with me too." He said this as his fingers twirled strands of Hinata's hair, he was making a sort of expression that showed he had no real interest.

"I also wanted to tell you that I'm staying the night, Ryosuke should be back with you in the morning." For Yusuke to come out Ryosuke has to be angry but for Ryosuke to come back Yusuke has to fall asleep, that's how it usually goes for the both of them. Yusuke wasn't sure why he was even giving the younger man a chance, possibly because he was bored and wanted to mess with someone other than Ryosuke or maybe he felt lonely as well. If he did feel lonely he sure wasn't showing it because most of his words and actions said that he wanted Hinata away from the both of them. "So as your guest Hina-Chan, you have to keep me entertained and making you cry was very amusing." Yusuke flashed a grin towards the other boy, he wondered if Hinata feared him yet or even loathed him. There wasn't many people who liked Yusuke, even Ryosuke fears him at times. If Hinata didn't loathe him or hate him, he would because it was just as natural for someone to detest Yusuke as it was to breathe.

  • 2 weeks later...

His heart was beating so fast, like a scared rabbit at the foot of a hunting dog, at first he didn't even realize that Yusuke had given things to help him with. Why he decided to give him an ice pack and a cloth, he didn't know. It was counter intuitive really... But he appreciated it... in a way. Hinata wished he didn't bite him to the point of needing these things in the first place, but he wasn't about to complain about having these things brought to him. He couldn't get his lips to work and say anything at first actually. Hinata put the cloth on his shoulder, patting the bite and soaking up the blood that was starting to come out again, then put the ice bag on top, holding it in place. It stung and he flinched, as to be expected, but he flinched more because Yusuke sat next to him and touched his head, he thought he was going to do something else again.

What Yusuke told him made him feel better, he'd be seeing Yusuke around more for sure, but it wouldn't be for nothing. Hinata still hasn't forgotten the fact that the person who wasn't technically here anymore was someone who had to deal with his problems alone with a violent half of himself he had no control over. He looked over at Yusuke's disinterested expression and clearly saw how the guy had no faith in him. He probably thought that he'd give up and run away. As if. Hinata wasn't the kind of person to give up on someone because things get bumpy. Or if he gets a few more bite wounds in this case. He couldn't even imagine leaving Ryusuke to deal with this on his own. Would he pretend not to ever like him? Would he never look at him again? That would be totally ridiculous.

"Thank you for letting me do this, Yusukse..." he took a breath and managed to hold up a smile, "And you're right. I'll have to still entertain you!" His smile held, but he was still nervous. He has to entertain somebody who found making him cry amusing. "We can keep playing the game," he didn't think Yusuke would like that, not when he could beat him up or bite him again instead for fun, "If I win, I get to ask any question to you and if you win a round, you get to ask me a question and you can hit me as hard as you want..." He laughed because that was the only idea he had. He had no idea what the redhead liked to do. "Thats entertaining, right?"

From the blue, a black shape jumped on the top part of the couch, purple eyes inspecting the visitor with her head tilted and her tail swaying. Hinata glanced at his cat and at Yusuke, "I, ah, I hope you like cats... I know Ryosuke said he likes dogs better. I'll go put her away so she doesn't bother you." He was more afraid of the possibility that Yusuke might want to be very mean to his cat as well. Hinata got up and reached over to his cat, "You can think about what you want to do while I lock her in the room."

As much as Yusuke enjoyed playing video games, he loved seeing Hinata tense up and fidget from his own presence even more. Was the boy really that frightened of him? He had only nipped him a bit, it was a love bite compared to the other things he could do to the raven haired boy. Yusuke found it disgusting that Hinata had even offered to wager, it wasn't that he wasn't a man who took challenges but Yusuke could physically harm the other boy anytime he felt like getting up. With that disgust was a bit of pride in the fact that he had gotten the boy so worked up that he was actually joking about the whole situation to escape his own discomfort.

The redhead lifted his head to look at the ceiling as he grinned to himself for a short while and even snickered before calming himself, his wicked eyes glanced over to meet Hinata's own. "I have nothing to ask you and their's nothing stopping me from kicking your ass right now Hina-Chan." Yusuke seemed to have no sympathy or passion for other people, he was ready to get up once again and beat Hinata another time just to prove a point that was already clear to the raven haired boy but the only thing that had stopped him from seriously hurting Hinata again was the black figure that leaped onto the couch. It's purple eyes stared at Yusuke and caught the young man's attention.

Before Hinata could reach to pick up his cat, Yusuke had grabbed a hold of the feline and set Lavender onto his lap. The feline obliged and did not scratch or fuss when the redhead set her into his lap. He gently traced a few fingers across the feline's fur, grinning softly to himself as the feline became comfortable in his lap. Yusuke was fond of feline's and he enjoyed their company, he had been wanting one for quite awhile but Ryosuke was not fond of them. He had once brought one home with him and the next day Ryosuke had gave the feline away to a friend after a night of the two arguing about the orange cat. Yusuke had never loathed or resented Ryosuke as much as he did that night, he wouldn't admit it but he even shed a few tears. Honestly the tears were probably shed for more than just giving away the cat but Yusuke wouldn't tell. "She can sit in my lap." The redhead muttered softly to Hinata, his voice was surprisingly soothing at the moment as he stroked the feline. His fingers moved under Lavender's chin to stroke the feline there and with the other hand he picked up a controller, he eventually put both his hands on the controller as he let the black feline rest onto his lap. "I guess we can play a game."
