Coffee-Tastic
Over the time being in the chair, you could say that he had grown bored. Sitting there, staring at nothing, not being allowed to go into sleep mode to pass time and not saying anything, he wished there was something else to occupy his time with. "Yes," he answered honestly, "But I know this is necessary, so there is no need to complain about sitting here and doing nothing, Walter. And what else would there be for me to do until something happens? If there is an answer, then you should let me know." His tone wasn't sarcastic but he didn't sound joyful either. Neutral. He didn't feel changed at all, Sky having say there with no slowed thoughts, no forgotten memory and nothing else he could tell what was going on. So it didn't seem like Walter made any drastic changes to him. Whatever he had done, it was not anything threatening. And considering the idea of the man tweaking who he was "threatening" meant something. That deep inside, he didn't have the desire to be changed into something else, liking the way he was now. And anyways, what kind of improvements could be made to him? He was polite, he had a nice smile and was approachable. Wasn't that cute enough? ZX-MetalMonster
Though he should had been apologetic to the android for keeping him in place for so long , Walter smiled when the machine admitted to being bored. Whenever Sky admitted having any opinion or displayed any emotion it reassured the programmer that things were working properly, though he did like to see some emotions more than others. -"I'm nearly done with what I've started so I'll remove the cables soon." He informed the machine and leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees. -"I had some trouble finding things before while I was working. It reminded me that you wanted to rearrange everything, so it's more neat." He started, though he still struggled to say what he had and give the android permission to do as he wanted with his things. -"Maybe that isn't such a bad idea after all." He said in the end and for a moment gave the other man one of his awkward smiles.
Coffee-Tastic
He knew it. Walter did have trouble finding things because of all this mess. Sky had no idea how long the man would have lasted without cleaning up the place, he'd loose important things and go mad from not being able to find a single thing. Walter admitting he could barely find things before and telling him that he recalled Sky wanting to help to put things away, his eyebrows raised up slightly and he smiled, "Is that so?" And then he was told it wouldn't be a bad idea to tidy up. Which meant yes. "Really? Oh wow..." He chuckled and nodded his head up and down, "Of course it is not a bad idea, Walter! Can you imagine how much more space you will have?" His worry for his well being subsided and he sounded a lot more happy like his usual self, "Can I start after I'm unplugged?" His thoughts went back to having the desire of helping his owner. Cleaning is exactly what he wanted to do from the very beginning. It was also something useful to do. He was one happy android~
ZX-MetalMonster
Walter had hoped allowing the android to do this would make him happy but actually seeing the emotion so clearly in Sky's voice and expression was more rewarding than he'd imagined. A bright smile formed on his lips and this time around, when the computer pinged, asking for his attention he ignored it for a moment. -"You can start whenever you like and I can help you, unless you prefer to do everything yourself." He offered though he was searching for a way to have some influence on how things would be rearranged. Besides that, Walter was also somewhat worried the android might get hurt if left to sort everything out on his own. There were heavy and sharp objects scattered around the apartment and though the machine couldn't feel pain, he could still get damaged and cause them both trouble. -"I would at least like to make you company while you clean." He insisted and his smile grew a bit wider but at this point he remembered that both the other man and the computer were waiting for him to study the latest readings so other things could be done. He stood up and leaned on the table by the monitor, reading through the information quickly though carefully. Nothing seemed to be heating up beyond it's intended temperature so with a few clicks he closed all of the software he had turned on and returned to the android to remove the cables and close everything so there were no signs of hidden connectors anywhere on his skin. Coffee-Tastic
"Yes, I would prefer that, Walter, I want to make sure the organization I do for you is what you like. This is YOUR stuff that I'll be helping you with," he said, already know where he could start first. There was a heap of loose papers he would pick up, if they were important, Walter could look over them, but they looked like they were there for a while, so he assumed it was just things he didn't throw away properly... If that wasn't the case, then at least Walter would be around to give his input on it. But really, Walter couldn't need all of this stuff. He bet all of the same information would be on that computer or something, or if not, it meant it wasn't important enough. Organization wasn't something he knew the best of at the top of his head, but he had enough sense to know how to get things cleared out and be put in better places than on the floor and on top of other things like a junkyard. As soon as he was released from the cables and had the latch was closed and hidden once again, rubbing his hands together and wandering off like a waddling duckling to one of those mounds, bending over and collecting papers into his hands, smiling back at Walter, "Thank you for allowing me to do this. You won't be disappointed... And if you don't know where something is now, all you'd have to do is ask me where it is instead of trying to find it. This is a step, Walter," he said positively, turning back around to see what he was doing, laughing, "A step to be less of a clutter head with his things." ZX-MetalMonster
(Took care of it now XD) Walter was glad the android agreed they should tidy things up together and despite his initial dislike of the idea he was becoming enthusiastic because he would spend the rest of the day with the other man if nothing else. However, once he'd put away all of the cables and realized Sky had swooped down on his papers as soon as he was given the chance Walter was reminded just why he was reluctant before. He frowned but made sure not to give the machine a chance to notice his expression. With some effort he forced on a smile only to then smile genuinely a moment later after the android promised him he wouldn't regret this. -"I trust you, I'm sure you'll do a great job." The human said in the and walked across the room to stand beside the machine. "Just make sure not to loose the papers I've written on, the printed ones are not as important." He informed him, though he wasn't sure what was on the papers the android was gathering. "Also, tell me what you would like me to do." He added finally, knowing that he was there to move things around and point out what should be kept and what could be thrown away. From the state the apartment was in now it was apparent Walter wouldn't be useful for anything else.
Coffee-Tastic
( With the huge amount of papers in his arms, he looked down at it and thought about what Walter told him. Written things are to keep. Printed are not important... But in his arms, he could see things written and printed and loose papers that had printed text on them but also written annotations, which confused him. Grinning, he came closer to the man and handed over the big pile to him, "You can go through this and make umm..." Sky tapped his chin, "Ah! You can take the papers I give you and then separate them into what you need and then what can be thrown away. And don't be cheap about it. You want to throw away as much as you can so that all this stuff doesn't just find a new place to collect dust at in your house... But can you during the trash in here please?" Patting Walter on his shoulder with a smile, he waggled off to the next mess as if he was a work hungry cleaning bot instead of an ex sex android. Instead of picking up all of the things, he sat down on the floor, taking loose papers and, well, organizing them very quickly himself. Printed things in one pile, written notes on another pile and anything he was uncertain of went in a third pile. Once there was enough stuff getting thrown out, there would be more room to place the important things. He couldn't wait to see how the man would react to seeing his place clean and to see himself how Walter's home would look like clean... His home too. ZX-MetalMonster
Walter nodded as he was given the papers and started to study what each contained as soon they were in his grasp. He hoped to do what the android told him well and quickly and at that moment his mind set must had resembled that of a cleaner as well. It even slipped by him that the other man had placed his hand on his shoulder. Before he started to separate the papers into those he would like to keep and those that were insignificant enough t be thrown out he left the room in order to bring back the trashcan. -"How much do you plan for us to finish cleaning today?" He asked curiously as he sat down and worked on completing the simple task he'd been given. It didn't seem very easy to him, he had trouble deciding to throw anything out in fear of some of the writing unexpectedly becoming significant in the future. -"I know you won't grow tired but you might loose some enthusiasm after a few hours of this." He added with a faint smile though he was still looking down at the sheets of paper in his hands. He intentionally left out that he would become tired even if the android wouldn't. He suspected the machine would remember it but he was still somehow embarrassed to admit it.
Coffee-Tastic
Sky still continued sorting, but listening to Walter, he laughed, "You think so?" Asking, he gave Walter a quick glance, seeing the little smile on his face. He was sure it wasn't easy for Walter to allow this to happen, but he was glad he did... Smiling he got back to work again, more relaxed and content after seeing the faint grin on Walter, "I don't know about that. I feel quite... Um. Motivated... Dare I say." With a little chuckle, he shrugged. He'd work on the mess all night if he needed to. Sky did not like admitting anything regarding emotions, but motivated was what he was. He thought that saying it might even get Walter to become the same too. This might just be a rare occasion where he states he feels something, all on his own. Walter would have to go to sleep eventually, Sky wasn't shy of that fact, nor did he mind. The man could enjoy all the sleep he wanted, the more the better, so when he woke up, he'd see everything in a new way. All the accumulation gone and things put in a proper place. Walter might not be okay with waking up like that, but it would take time for him to see the benefits. It was true, he would not regret it. ZX-MetalMonster
This wasn't quite the answer Walter was hoping for but his smile brightened regardless, he couldn't be unhappy when the android seemed so excited. This was also Sky's choice and not something he was commanded or expected to do, he even commented on how this made him feel, Walter was certainly not going to stop or annoy him now. -"In that case it's maybe better we just work and see when we feel like stopping." He suggested and now planned to push himself to stay with the android and help him for as long as was needed. He only hoped that wouldn't result in him falling asleep on a pile of old electronics. Leaving the other man on his own was still out of the question simply because he feared the android might come across a problem or simply something he doesn't understand and would need him to be there. Having sorted all of the papers that were given to him, Walter moved to get up but then leaned back into the chair to take a second look at the ones he'd decided to throw away. He would pause and think carefully about a few of the papers and some were moved to the pile that was to be kept. -"I'm done with these." He informed and placed what was left marked as unnecessary into the trash can, though he was still unsure if he'd overlooked something important. Coffee-Tastic
"Really? That's great, Walter!" He praised the reluctant man and looked over at him, noticing the look of uncertainly on his face with the papers being in the trash now. Sky was afraid that he might change his mind and reach in the trash for any of those papers, so he took his own tall pile of things that he was unsure about and hurried towards him to hand it over, dumping away the unneeded stack of printed pages, "These I wasn't too sure about. If you can go through these yourself and identify what can go and what can't, that would be great." Smiling and putting the large stack in Walter's hands, he came closer than he needed to and gave him a small kiss on the cheek, "Thank you again, Walter. Especially for helping me. Its very brave of you to allow me to do this." Showing his appreciation in such a way even made Sky happy. So he kissed his cheek quickly a second time, smiling happily, "Just wanted to let you know that! The next thing you can do when you're done with that is going around the room and looking for actual trash. Crumpled papers, you can dust, sweep up the floors... And I'll start reorganizing your storage space by myself since I can carry a lot more than you can at once. And if you get hurt, I wouldn't forgive myself. Okidoki?" ZX-MetalMonster
The close proximity would have been enough to redirect Walter's full attention to the android and keep him quiet and standing still but with the two kisses added to his cheek he turned red and didn't dare to speak, knowing he would stutter or fail to raise his voice above a whisper. The machine went on, telling him what else to do and he only stared until his nerves got the better of him and he had to look to the side and started to rub the back of his neck as he took a step back. -"N-no... I can help you, I won't get hurt." Walter tried to argue but after what the other man had just done couldn't think of anything more convincing to say. Before he even received an answer, he took a stronger hold of the new stack of papers ready for sorting and returned to his seat by the computer, though he wouldn't have the concentration to actually get anything done for another couple of minutes. The papers he'd thrown out a moment before and had been worried about were now completely cleared from his mind and he didn't as much as glance back at the trash can where he'd discarded them. Coffee-Tastic
Aw... Smiling proudly, Sky watched Walter grab a hold of the papers tighter and went back to his seat. Walter's pale face looked so much nicer with color in his cheeks, he admitted to himself completely now. Two things he was really starting to cave into and become okay with where the fact he liked having the man's attention and he liked seeing him blush. There was no way around that. It was the solid truth. Having admiration over that was something Sky didn't have much of an issue with, because admitting it to himself made it all the more valid to do it more and more again. Walter could count on a face full of fluster again. When he looked that cute, Sky just couldn't keep from doing it... And Walter didn't tell him it was bad either. Sky didn't think he would ever keep him from doing it because they were signs of affection were they not? The android looked back at Walter doing his sorting and felt a odd warmth in him that made him look away and smile more without restraint. He really did want to see that man with positive expressions. Blushing, smiling, ect, he liked it. He longed to see one each time a moment of it ended... Sighing calmly after composing himself again, he started working on things other than paper, actually moving things around into better places where they'd be more compact, so the rest of the house could start looking less like the mad man's dump like it had become. And more like "Walter and Sky's" home. "Walter, I'd still appreciate it if you did as I asked~ I don't want you helping me too much, because then you might feel the need to hold onto things. Its a hoarder's problem. You need to do more relaxing things. I promise, I'll be perfectly fine."
ZX-MetalMonster
Despite how obviously the android liked his reaction, Walter failed to realize it had been the machine's intention to make him flustered when he'd kissed him. Even Sky's bright smile and the way he looked back at him weren't any hint, what's more it caused him to become even more nervous to notice he was being watched. This time around it wasn't as difficult for Walter to sort through the papers, primarily because now he wasn't as worried about what small details might be lost and was more focused on the reward he'd previously received. He quickly discarded the thought but for a moment he even wondered if he would perhaps be awarded again if he helped the android enough. -"I'm not a hoarder." He said and tried to show he was upset for being labelled as such but ended up looking somewhat childish in stead. "All of these things are useful, there's just not enough space for them here." He added in his defence just as he placed another stack of papers into the trash can, leaving all of the ones he wanted to keep on the table beside the computer. Before continuing, he left and returned with a broom but then placed it beside the wall and started looking for crumbled papers and other things thrown around the room that were obviously meant to be thrown away. -"I wont be a nuisance to you though... I'll just do what you ask me to." Walter agreed after some consideration. He wanted the other to be happy, that was one of the main reasons why he was doing this in the first place, and as long he was there to keep an eye on the android and make sure nothing very important to him was thrown away he wouldn't be too upset. "I just don't want to leave you, in case something happens or you have trouble doing something on your own."
Coffee-Tastic
Sky only took a small glance at Walter when he tried to justify against being a hoarder, but when he left the room, he spoke as if he was there as he pushed something into a new place, smiling as he cooed to himself, "Well if it was useful then, then it should have had its own special place around the house already, Walter..." The childish act was cute and it was interesting to see the man react in such ways, but he's accepted it... He's accepted that when he talks like that, he know's he's wrong, that is. That made him very happy to understand another thing about his reclusive, hoarder owner. The reclusive, hoarder owner that he's grown so attached to. "That's very kind of you, Walter," Sky smiled back at Walter, facing him as he started to properly stack up files on one of the stands around the computer, working fast, "But what can possibly happen? I'm just moving things around and all. Do you have dangerous objects around here in your possession? I suppose that can be plausible in order to maintain protection, but I must say, the odds of someone coming in here to ransack your already ransacked looking home is very slim. And the most valuable thing you own is me but I believe have a protection lock so I'd be disabled until returned... But I could see you wanting to have things to protect yourself with. I'm not sure if you even have the kind strength and you would need to rely on outside things or else you'd be in trouble..." Sky's little ramble slowed down, stopping what he was doing and looked at the other, "... But I should be fine. I'm careful anyways." Smiling innocently as if he hadn't just insulted Walter, calling him weak, Sky giggled.
ZX-MetalMonster
The more effort the android put into considering their defences against burglars the more Walter wondered if the machine was aware he was being unnecessarily brutal with his honesty. He considered leaving the other man to finish things alone after all, not because of how upset he was or to punish him but because he suspected it might be Sky's intention to drive him away by speaking like this. -"They aren't for protection but I have things that can become dangerous if handled incorrectly and besides that, something heavy could fall on you and do damage." Walter explained and made an effort to avoid the topic of his strength or lack there of altogether. "If I were more concerned about something being stolen I would add a security system, locks and things like that. I'm not sure what sort of dangerous things you were imagining I could own but I would never leave a weapon lying around with the rest of these things if I had one." He pressed on with his answer but some disappointment was clear in his voice now. The android apparently expected him to be very irresponsible and he took this as an insult as well. -"We can discus making the apartment better protected if you feel unsafe, though I have expensive components here and the computer must be worth about as much as you with all of it's software and no one's ever tried to take any of those things." To Walter, Sky was worth more than any machine and even most of the people in this world but for a moment, he regarded him for his robotic body, the quality of his circuitry, the price his model was normally sold for and the comparison to the computer ran through his head and out of his mouth before he had a chance to stop himself. He hated his own choice of words but was fairly sure the android wouldn't be upset over it since he was the first one to mention himself when they were speaking of material things. On top of that, the point of what Walter was saying was to assure the other man that nothing bad would happen to him.
Coffee-Tastic
Of course Sky took him to be very irresponsible, he was the one who made this whole mess all on his own. He didn't know what was around here and he was just making educated guesses here. If he got offended and disappointed, that wasn't his fault, not the android's. Sky couldn't be blamed. He was "innocent". But now Walter had to go on and say something like that... "What did you say?" He asked, his voice actually a little threatening for once. Odd how he was fine with calling himself a machine, accepting that he was no human, but as soon as he was talked about like a piece of every day technology that compared with that ugly computer, Sky wasn't happy one bit, the words boiling his circuitry and making him frown and furrow his eyebrows, "Oh really? Well. You know only one of the two of us is more valuable in other ways and is more useful to others as well. Which one of us is? Obviously, Walter... its me... Walter, I do not wish to be compared to junk like that. I'm nothing like that thing. You might be so tired that you are saying crazy things." Turning his head away, still very mad, Sky shut his mouth and tuned himself out very quickly with an angry pout. I am more expensive than that thing. I'm better than it in every way. More ways that he doesn't even understand apparently. He already didn't like that computer. Walter bringing it up when he was talking about the worth of the things that he has, it just made him more pissed off. Sky couldn't see how much actual negative emotion he felt until he realized how... he was actually shaking and twitching, but not from any glitches. Just from one little thing that Walter said, the android was set off. It wasn't a very nice thing to say, but He felt like he had half of a reason to actually break the computer with something heavy, because if Walter was going to be giving anything to Sky, it could only get better if a computer wasn't around to steal his attention. ZX-MetalMonster
Walter could see clearly what an impact his thoughtless words had had on the machine and he felt immense quilt for it. However, being the socially clueless and awkward person that he was he didn't know how to mend the damage he'd caused. Reluctant to say anything in fear it might not be what's suppose to be said and too nervous to gravitate closer to the android as he felt he should, Walter stood frozen in place. It was as though he himself had suffered some sort of glitch and was now incapable of doing anything more complex than watching the other man. -"That's not what I meant to say..." He gathered the determination to speak after a long moment passed in silence but his voice was barely above a whisper. "I was thinking in terms of money... You're a person, of course you're worth more than material things..." In that moment Walter wished he could trade everything he knew for the simple things that came naturally to others, the ability to express one's thoughts and feelings for another, to come to an understanding. It wasn't the first time he wanted something so plain and he knew he would have reason to yearn for it in the future as well. However angry he'd been at the android before without realizing it, he was now upset and aware of it. It made him doubt if it was even a good idea for the other man to stay with him, anyone would be better company for a machine that was meant to become human than someone who was isolated from humans and so socially inept. On top of that, the android didn't think much of him, so far he'd pointed out so many faults, given Walter numerous reasons to feel inadequate and he wasn't at all wrong. -"Either way, I'm sorry..." He added despite previously trying to give a logical reason and excuse himself for provoking the android. With that said, he willed himself to move and with one more long glance at the other man he continued to clean as he had been instructed.
Coffee-Tastic
Ignoring all of Walter's words, he didn't even acknowledge the apology. He just tried to justify himself. The man was only sorry that the words made him upset, which made him no more less moody that he currently was. Sky didn't think he would never be satisfied with any apology when he was upset about being compared to something else in Walter's words, he'd still think that the man didn't mean it. The anger he felt wasn't nice. He didn't like having this emotion, so used to smiling and giggling this far in his existence. Walter could have just agreed with him, because even though he was wrong about having actual weapons around, the human was weak, as all humans technically were, and Sky was better than any other machine, that computer included. "I don't accept the apology." He said after long silence between them. He put down what he was holding and finally turned around to the man again, "But you do want m to feel better, do you not?" Crossing his arms with a small pout, the android stayed in place, demanding something absolutely unheard of for a robot. "I'll feel better if you complimented me. Tell me how much better I am, okay? That will make me feel better. Reassure me that you'd choose me over the computer and tell me how much more I mean to Walter." An apology wouldn't work on him, but he felt like praise would. Being told that he was better and that Walter liked him more than anything else... he liked having Walter's attention and would love having nice things said about him even more. It was the only reassurance he'd accept. So he wanted it. "I'm your respectability, don't forget, so you should make me feel better after saying such a cruel thing. Then everything will be fine." ZX-MetalMonster
Walter hoped and waited for the android to say something, to give him a sign that his words meant something to him now that he was trying to set things right as well and not just when he was making mistakes. The answer he did receive however was not what he was hoping for and something heavy and unpleasant formed in his chest when the machine refused to accept his apology. Only once the other man continued did Walter stop what he was doing and look at the android with sparks of hope in his eyes. -"Sky... the computer is just a machine I need so I can work. It was a mistake to compare you to it. You're the most significant, amazing thing I will ever create, you don't have a reason to be...jealous of a computer." Water assured the other man first off all even though that wasn't what the android had asked for. He took a step closer to him and smiled softly to encourage him to cheer up again as well. "You obviously know that I would choose you over the computer... I would choose you over any piece of circuitry, even over most of the humans I know."He still fumbled with his words, struggling to find those that fit what he felt for the android. Despite him inability to speak fluidly though, every single word was honest. -"The only reason I made the comparison was because you're so unique and special and you keep pointing out how weak I am, and disorganized and lonely. I know all of it is true... but it makes me sure you would choose anyone in this world over me."
Coffee-Tastic
He didn't get exactly what he wanted when he told the man to compliment him, but he felt some satisfaction from hearing him say that he'd be chosen over anything in the world, even real human beings. Listening onto what Walter had to say, he wasn't happy again, but not at the human, at himself. Was saying those things really making him feel that way? Sky was only stating the facts, even Walter admits it, and he wasn't saying anything that he hasn't thought over a little bit at the very least. He wasn't aware that his biggest problem was not letting his owner be aware of what he means to him... But what did he mean to him... He was his owner. He admired him. He was the only human he would ever want to see smile and be flustered... Looking to the floor his eyes swayed to the left, "So that's it..." Sky raised his head again, walking over towards his owner with sorry in his pale eyes, "If I had known that..." If he had known that, he still would not stop his crude words from time to time, but at least he'd know how to make it better. "I'm sorry, Walter. I hate to hear that you believe that from my statements, but no, there is nobody else in this world I could possibly choose over you." Sky stood right in front of the man, looking into his eyes as he repeated himself, "There is nobody else in this world I could possibly choose over you, Walter. No matter your flaws, that does not change the fact that you are also unique and special too."
ZX-MetalMonster
Though everything the android said couldn't help how he felt with many of his flaws pointed out and now present at the back of mind, Walter wanted the machine to know how much it meant to him that he was reassuring him. A blush formed on his cheeks from how little space the other man left between them but he willed himself not to grow nervous and look to the side or step back. Despite how worked up he could get from the proximity he did still in a way enjoy it. -"Thank you..." He spoke and while he meant for his voice to be gentle it came out as little more than a whisper. It added more of the rosy tint to his face but he laughed softly, aware of what he looked and sounded like. A part of him urged Walter to reach out and take the androids hand, to do something about that gap between them with touch and not by retreating. He lacked the courage for that now after just having a near argument with the other man and even when his hand moved he stopped it, producing as a result what seemed like a tremor. Coffee-Tastic
Sky's grin widened hearing his voice come out so cutely, excited to see the blush he loved so much on Walter's pale face. It even got redder... Sky was simply in love with seeing this man blush. Looking into his eyes with growing joy, the android was also finding it a little complicated to know what to do next. Of course, he could just say "you're welcome" and just go back to cleaning, but what satisfaction would that give him when he already had the man trembling and roses red? See, Sky didn't lack courage, he only lacked knowing how to approach things sometimes. What to do. What to do... Pressing his bottom and top lip together in his smile, he looked down and took the hand he had been touching before, lifting it up and kissing it before coming closer. Sky kissed Walter's cheek and leaned to his ear next, his eyes adverting with a smirk on his face, "You're welcome... But also, I feel like I should mention another thing I've learned... I've grown quite fond of seeing these faces you make, Walter..." Letting go on his hand and stepping back, he brought up the innocent smile on his face once more, "I don't want them from anyone else."
