The android's behaviour, how freely he touched and kissed him would have made Walter more nervous if that had been possible and if he wasn't so pleased with what was happening. He was being given exactly what he'd hoped for but couldn't quite achieve on his own, contact and closeness. While their hands were still joined, he caressed the machines hand gently and his smile grew at the other man's explanation of what he'd come to realize, even though for a moment he did feel Sky was being playful and teasing him.

-"And I don't want anyone else but you to see them." Walter admitted with and laughed softly once the other took a step back and he could find his voice again. Thinking how it had been cowardly of him to stand frozen and wait for the android to read the situation and help him out, he acted now, hoping to redeem himself. With an anxious glance into the machines eyes he moved closer and very lightly pressed his lips against the android's cheek, the same as was done to him a moment before. He didn't take a step back but in stead moved away only enough to watch the other man's reaction, though after everything he was at least sure he wouldn't be angry or dislike this.

Hearing Walter tell him that he didn't want anyone else besides him to see his expressions either, Sky felt just... really really happy... He could just burst into a million pieces. He didn't mind if those words were all he got from the man, they were enough to forget about his odd rivalry with his computer and fill him up with butterflies, yes butterflies, but Walter went past that and gave him something new. Feeling the man's lips on his cheek, kissing it, his eyes lit up and met Walter's eyes when he moved back a little.

Sky squeezed his hand as he smiled, his cheeks heated up and his shoulder's raised, "A-Aww..." Flustered and bright, he swayed from side to side lightly, "You kissed me... Thank you, Walter..." He wasn't red from any kind of embarrassment, it was all from being so happy and from honestly not expecting a kiss back. Walter was so cute~ He even kissed shyly. Yeah, of course he saw the anxiousness in his green eyes. He could tell when this man was hesitant about something. Letting go of his owner's hands, he kept smiling and turned around to go back to do his tasks with a clear joy in his step.

Walter wouldn't kiss anybody, that was for sure, but he kissed him. Sky. He kissed Sky! Out of all the things, he was getting very tangled over that kiss, even if it was small. He was just very proud of the man and himself. Walter because he actually managed to make a move on his own. Himself because he managed to be someone this special to him... Jealousy, anger, joy, happiness... It would be fair to say things were going right inside of this machine.

It brought a bright, broad smile to Walter's lips to see the android become worked up from his kiss and inwardly he breathed a sigh of relief. Every second of the brief moment in which he'd waited for the machine to respond had been painfully nerve-wracking for him.

This was the first time he'd ever seen the other man properly flustered and knowing now that they don't react so differently to one another, he wasn't as nervous. He nodded lightly at the android's thanks and could feel the happiness resonate between them from the small signs of affection they had both just shown.

Walter felt confident by that point that nothing of their argument was left unanswered and unresolved. It was only a shame that there was more work to be done and eventually Sky let go of him and returned to cleaning. He too would have returned to what he had been busy with, only if he could remember what it was. A moment passed in him looking around uselessly searching for some sign of what he had been doing, like a partially sorted group of items, but he found nothing similar. In the end he only shrugged to himself and started to look for stray pieces of trash to throw away.

-"I forgot to mention... most of the things I have here are for work and building things, but if you find something personal, please put it aside without examining t too closely." For the first few words Walter's voice was still quiet and weak but then he paused and continued more naturally. It crossed his mind only now that there could be more than circuitry and papers in the giant mess of his apartment and he was afraid he would end up embarrassed by some of the things the android might find.

Hearing Walter's voice took his briefly out of his fluttering mind and the android looked back at the man for a moment before nodding his head, "Anything personal, I will put to the side," he repeated the man's request to show his understanding, "No problem, Walter." He'd respect his asking, but certainly, he'd still have to examine it to decide if it was personal or not. And what might classify to the man as personal might be something Sky saw as something else. He wasn't a human, how was he supposed to recognize a thing like that? Actually, he really did like the idea of getting to know Walter more than what he's taken from observation already and judging by the tone of his voice when he first spoke, there must be some interesting things somewhere buried under all this mess like treasure.

Upon thinking more on that as he put things in new rightful, neat places, Sky thought a bit more mischievously than was necessary. He basically could pick up anything and look at it, because he really could say as an excuse that he didn't know if something was deeply tied to something Walter might try to hide. So if he were to pick something up and get some little inkling that he shouldn't be looking, then he could jut ignore the rest of the feelings of doing some thing wrong. Its not like it was wrong to learn more about his owner after all. Grinning to himself, he kept his eyes sharper to find something nice before Walter did. Oh, this'll be fun! Like a treasure hunt...! He didn't overthink his next desire, it was just a goal to him, he didn't see it as directly bending Walter's meaning and twisting up an excuse to suit his curiosity.

Despite this, his main purpose of cleaning didn't change, that mission obviously making everything neat for the man. He did find something, a notebook, but he didn't open it and risk the man seeing him look at something. The notebook was slipped gently behind a file cabinet to be found by Sky another time... He just hoped it was worthy of him hiding it and having the anticipation of Walter becoming unable to watch him. In the mean time Walter did good in doing what Sky asked, that being throwing away things he didn't need anymore and also to clean up discarded papers and trash on the floors while the android did most of the work... he didn't think his owner meant to end up letting Sky do everything, but its what happened and in a very cute way of course. He fell asleep at the table going through one of the last bunches of papers, a sight he smiled about, but dared not to tamper with the sleeping man.

Sky pulled out the notebook and sat on the floor as he flipped through all the pages to get a sense of what it was, he didn't need to find a private place to read this in because then that would be suspicious and wouldn't play apart in his possible excuse of not knowing he was doing something wrong... He thought he'd be getting something juicy and entertaining in he notebook. He thought it would be fun looking in here. On the first page, he saw immediately that this actually had to do with him. Walter's AI to be more specific. This peaked his interest more than he thought anything else would, it was Walter's notes on his project from step one. Sky looked over his shoulder at Walter to make sure he still was sleeping with his head down. Certain he'd be safe, he smiled and turned to the next page, indulging into the enthusiastic writings of his mind's creator.

He could tell from the start that the man was very excited to be working on this project, his handwriting was quick paced and sometimes it was hard to know what he was writing, he took a guess and assumed that it was from excitement. It made him so happy to see these things, as boring as the context of the words were, he could read past that and see how Walter was like writing it. There was a point where he skipped around a little past the middle of the book and a certain page caught his eye. Notes were scribbled out a lot more harsh than other times. At first, only some things were crossed out, it being impossible to read what was under the ink, but then came pages were everything was scribbled out. A lot pages had the writing sound forced and the words were written out lightly as if he had no will to do it, even the wording was depressing. Sky's smile was long gone at this point. What could possibly make him become like this? The start was wonderful! It broke his heart seeing the words change so drastically. He had no ideas at the start, but then read a certain line of words on the bottom of one of the pages. "Maybe they're just right." And it was crossed out with a single line, Sky took that as Walter trying to get that out of his mind, but it still was visible. Like the man still believed it in a way and couldn't get it out of his mind.

Reading on, he was surprised to see the writing just become normal again and the scribbles were on and off. It was easy for Sky to see that it wasn't easy to go through with a project like this. He put so much heart into this and look at what he did now. He had an android living in his home, functional of thoughts... an android that liked to doubt Walter and stay unconvinced that nothing important was going on in him...

Sky hid away the note book again and stood up with his head lowered. He felt horrible about doubting Walter so much but he also felt something else knowing that the man continued his work and managed to get a working first version of his product. Who was he to be apart of the people that didn't believe in Walter? Hell, and he was feeling pretty emotional after reading the notebook, it wasn't a mystery that Walter succeeded. Turning himself to the sleeping man, his frown became a little smile... Well the least he could do now was get everything perfect for Walter... The android picked up his speed of moving things around until the deed was completely done, by the time it was, had only been an hour since Walter put himself into deep sleep. Sky made it known before that he would be very happy to see their home clean and orderly, but he could save that for another time. Right now he wanted to put Walter to bed bed with him.

Going to the sleeping human, the blue haired machine tapped his shoulder and leaned down to him, kissing his head softly with some new found appreciation, "Hey~" he smiled, combing through his hair to help him get up in a soothing way with a soothing voice, "Wake up a little, lets go to bed... Everything is picked up now, so you're allowed to rest in a more proper place now. Come, I'll help you walk there."

Walter nodded and was satisfied with the android's agreement to disregard personal notes he might find, however that sense of safety lasted for only a brief moment before his logical mind overcame the positive mood he was in after interacting closely with the machine. Despite how untalented he was at communicating with other humans and comprehending their behaviour he knew he could predict some of the android's actions, he had after all watched over him from the moment his conscious mind and personality surfaced and he put more effort into Sky than any other person. It was easy to guess the machine would be curious about something that revealed more about the human he lived with and though he wouldn't admit it, if anything similar existed for the android Walter would surely give in and look through it.

His thoughts circled for a long time around the possibility that he had only made the other man more alert for what he was hoping to hide from him, despite that he didn't want to seem paranoid and didn't renew his request. Gradually the work he did distracted him, as minor as it was, and since he was accustomed to nothing more than rapidly moving his fingers over a keyboard he eventually became tired. He knew though that the android gave him tasks only to satisfy him in the same way a grown up would keep a child busy with silly made up work while he completed what truly had to be done. This is why Walter defiantly kept himself seated beside the computer and forced himself to continue sorting papers even when he noticed he was beginning to space out and come increasingly closer to resting his head on the table. It wasn't long before he could no longer resist and lowered his head in defeat, leaving his cheek pressed against his arm while he slept leaned on the table.

It was hours later that the other man came around to persuading him to wake up for long enough to cross the small distance to his bedroom. Of course his bed was much more comfortable than the table but the only thing he took into consideration now was that one was under him and the other he would have to walk to. He was called out of his sleep by a gentle touch and a sweet voice though and greeted the android with a faint smile despite normally being very unhappy and unpleasant when he was forced to get up.

-"I can walk on my own." Walter complained as he pushed himself up and with one hand rubbed his eyes however once he was on his feet he lightly supported his weight against the other man despite what he'd said. There was no danger of him falling but he enjoyed the proximity to Sky and thanks to his mind being hazy from sleep he didn't over think things and wasn't as overly reluctant. He followed easily as they made their way through the hallway and arrived in his room where he simply climbed on the mattress and was about to go right back to sleep without bothering to remove any of his clothes or even wrap himself in the blanket that was under him.

"Fufu..." Sky chuckled, finding it cute to have the man fall in bed like that, like a heavy sack of potatoes or like his body was completely limp. He looked like he was about to hit off in deep sleep again any second, but he was still dressed in the same clothes and he thought that maybe he should just help him out a bit to get dressed in something else. Smiling, he went to his other clothes and picked out the lightest kinds of clothes, since he would assume they were nice and soft, which Walter deserved for being a big sleepy baby. "Don't mind me," he whispered just in case the man was a bit more awake than he thought whilst taking off the man's pants, sliding them off with minimum movement and roughness, "I just want you to be as comfortable as possible..." This desire to be nice and gentle to his creator shouldn't be a mystery where it came from. He felt bad for being apart of the people who didn't believe he would be able to complete his work, why wouldn't he at least do this for him? He deserved it.

He was careful changing his pants, also being a bit fast since he didn't want to make his bare skin feel cold from the air, but that also didn't mean he didn't look over his body. Walter was so pale. Sky knew he wasn't sick or anything, not from what he could tell, but he knew that the whiteness came from more than his normal skin tone. The man doesn't go out much and it was easy to lose you color when you lack so sunlight. "Hm." He doubted that any color could come back from just one visit to the outside world to see how he deals with the new environment, maybe if Sky pushed for them to go out more... He won't look like a vampire... Next was his shirt. Sky had to turn him over and lift up the man's arms for this, but he did so gingerly and pulled up his shirt. More paleness was no surprise to him. Looking up at Walter's sleepy face, he also had the urge to touch his messy black hair, even if he would never be able to feel it's texture.

Once he put a new change on, he made sure he was covered up well, Sky let himself climb into bed as well, right next to Walter because he just had to kiss him again, on his cheek this time. He put his hands into the man's hair and stroked the black strands again, "Are you more comfortable now?" He asked, but wasn't expecting an answer from how luggy and sleepy the man was. Smiling he put an arm around him and squeezed himself closer, hugging him, "Goodnight. Sleep more properly now, please..."

While the android moved through the bedroom and looked through the closet for lighter clothes Walter was busy recovering from being forced to move to his bed. He would have admitted though, if he'd been awake enough to speak, that he was much more comfortable here than sprawled over the desk and it took him no time to be sound asleep again. He had little idea of what the machine was doing in the room and he barely understood what was going on when Sky started to undress him. He would had been far too embarrassed to allow the other man to see him without pants or a shirt on if he'd had a choice and allowing the android to take off his clothes would had been out of the question. Every microscopic touch would had made him blush, perhaps even attempt to hide his face from the other and he surely wouldn't know what to say and how to conceal the strain in his voice so he would only try to lightly push the machine away. However, exhausted as he was now, he staid still and, other than a few quietly mumbled words, silent while the other tried to make him more comfortable.

Walter's mind became rested enough and he started to become somewhat more aware of the android beside him only in the late hours of the night. Fortunately he still lacked the clarity that would allow him to get nervous because the other was so close and holding him in his arms, so rather than panic he only sighed audibly and hugged the man in return. It was only a shame that as things were he wouldn't remember this night nearly as vividly as he would have liked to.

He became fully aware and properly worked up by the way he and the other man had spent the night only in the morning when, still somewhat sleepy, he shifted and felt the body close by him. His eyes blinked open quickly and now deathly still, not daring to continue squirming beside the android, he stared at the machine. The minutes seemed to stretch and grow unbearably long while he searched in his head for bits of memory associated with the previous night and made sense of the situation he now found himself in. As time passed though, Walter's anxiety started to melt away slowly but surely and gradually he found the courage to breathe properly and recover from his frozen state. With a somewhat shaky hand he reached up and very afraid that he'd disrupt the other man's sleep or even worse be caught doing this, he pressed the pal of his hand to the androids cheek and very lightly brushed his thumb over his skin.

That night, his rest mode was very similar to the extension he had previously. The darkness, the balloon, the water-like reflection in the black, empty floor of this nameless place, Sky walked around slowly with his balloon, bored out of his mind. He wasn't going to try walking around with the intention to find anything since the last time he did that, nothing happened and he never managed to go anywhere, which wasn't a surprise because this wasn't even a real place. He sighed in the darkness and solitude... It being so silent, the android was soon starting to think about things from the real world. Walter. He put so much effort into creating his advancing mind, there were so many times that it looked like he would actually give up, but there were still pages to turn to one after the next. Smiling and clutching the string of the balloon, he felt a warmth in his chest where, if he were human, a heart would be. After waking him up and helping him to bed, he really felt that heat in him then. It was that weird, overpowering feeling that caused him to help him change and to get in bed with him, to be so close to him for the whole night. Sky had the desire to be glued to him in a hug and just went with it. Having Walter's radiated warmth attribute to his own just made it all the more satisfying to him.

In his walking, he suddenly had the urge to not take another single step. Sky was about to set his foot down, but pulled it back, staying in one place. "...Hello?" He called out, unsure of why he got the sense someone, or something was around and he shouldn't miss it. There wasn't anyone around though. "Hrrhm...." He grumbled and looked down in slight defeat. Seeing what was on the ground in front of him caused his pale eyes to widen. It was just a small, little daisy with the center tainted with a faint green color, and he would have stepped on it if he didn't listen to that urge. It was pretty small, and it was alone, but it amazed him to see it nonetheless. He crouched down to it and reached out to feel the soft petals, but was careful not to damage it. The itty bitty flower gave off warmth, oddly enough, and it peaked his interest. He wanted to look at it more, and even check around to see if there were more... He woke up though.

Just a few moments after Walter caressed his thumb over his cheek, Sky was being taken out of his dreamscape. Opening his eyes and feeling the other's warmth on him directly, the android curled more towards Walter and held him tighter before he even realized that the man was touching his face in such a way. When he did, his eyes closed again, smiling wide and holding him even tighter, "Hello Walter..." he muttered sweetly and happily, then rubbed the other's back, chuckling playfully, "Getting awfully close aren't we..." The green from the flower, the green in the man's eyes... It seemed like Walter was visiting his sleep mode in the weirdest way.

  • 2 weeks later...

Despite being cautious and making an effort to touch the machine very gently Walter knew from the beginning that he was being too forward and risking being caught too close to the android. It still startled him when the other man began to move and lean into him, leaving him with no chance to move away and hide what he'd been doing.

This answered Walter's question regarding how little effort was necessary to bring the android out of his sleep mode, he only regretted having to uncover the answer in a way that made him feel very embarrassed. His face grew red and he parted his lips, ready to deliver a string of improvised explanations but then the machine greeted him and proceeded to tease him, causing him to become more worked up.

-"I-I'm not the one who decided we should sleep with our arms around each other!" Walter muttered in his defense despite knowing well that it was his own decision to stay beside the machine and even as he pointed this out he made no move to break out of the other male's hold. He was quiet for a long moment after this ,for the most part, made up complaint and tried to recall how he'd ended up in bed in the first place but found only bits of memory after having fallen asleep on the table.

-"How did we end up like this...?" Walter asked finally, the soft tone of his voice causing him to sound cautious even though he pulled together the courage to look into the android's eyes while they spoke.

Walter's blush put no pause to Sky's smile, his embarrassment only making this twice as enjoyable. Sky could understand how he felt defensive. He was certain for a fact he never woke up to someone being so physically close to him. But with his defensive mutter, that didn't make Sky think for a second he should back off. Not one bit. "How? You don't remember?" His fingertips reached the nape of Walter's neck and feeling the fibers, he massaged the area gently as he spoke, staring at the eyes he was thankful that were still looking at him, "You fell asleep while sorting at the table and I brought you to bed. I changed your clothes myself before getting into bed with you... But don't worry, I finished cleaning and organizing everything... Does being so close to you make you feel a certIn way? Uncomfortable maybe?"

Sky sure was. He only felt like it was necessary to do what he was asked of, maybe a little extra, but going as far as to take him to bed and change his clothes, that was worth noting. Sky only did it from reaching a new level of special adoration for his human owner. Just remembering the notebooks tale of the man's dedication made the android squeeze him, causing their chests to end up against each other, "You seem like you do. Touching my face while I'm in sleep mode is quite a close action in itself. It makes me happy that you like me enough..." He added again, emphasizing the fact he felt a human emotion towards Walter, "Very happy actually."

Until the android described what had happened the previous night after he'd drifted off Walter hadn't noticed that he was dressed in different clothes than those he had on while they were cleaning. He realized just how much freedom the machine had given himself and while he wasn't upset with him, he was very embarrassed to know he'd seen him not fully dressed. Walter had never been fond of having someone catch a glimpse of him without a layer of clothing to conceal his pale form. With how he was mostly locked away in his home it was odd for him to have someone watch him at all.

The androids tendency to be straightforward and how observant he was that morning also contributed to Walter being nervous. However the other man's fingers moving at the back of his neck and even the way he brought them so close they were pressed against one another reassured Walter. Even he had come to understand by then that being beside one another was something they both liked even despite how awkward he was being.

-"I hoped you wouldn't wake up from such a light touch... though I'm glad you did, if you really feel so happy because of it." Walter admitted his original plan and smiled softly at the other male. He considered correcting the android because he liked him far more than he knew, however he kept this to himself for now knowing that if asked he wouldn't be able to explain what he felt or even list all of the reasons why he cared so much for the machine.

Sky gave a little nod, "Indeed. Because I like Walter too," closing his eyes, the robot stared into Walter's eyes with a sigh. He enjoyed this feeling quite so, it was depressing to remember the fact that people would be coming over today. They were the man's friends, but Sky was feeling incredibly selfish and he didn't want anyone to come visit at all, because he was sure he wouldn't be able to be this close to his owner. Right now, Walter was looking at only him, only paying attention to only him, and listening to only him. Walter all to himself... Yesterday, he felt very resentful over not having his attention, feeling like he was competing with a computer out of all things. And he'd just feel worse when it came to things more capable of hogging Walter. They were three people. If Walter was divided into three extra pieces, that wouldn't leave the android enough satisfaction to be happy, not one bit. "Hm..." Sky's content smile slowly became a frown just before he leaned closer into Walter's neck, nuzzling in while running his fingers down his spine. He brought his voice in a soft whisper, hoping to use the softness to his own advantage. "Tell your friends... not to come... They can come tomorrow. It's too nice being here, you wouldn't want anyone ruining this, right?"

As the android frowned so did Walter, somewhat worried and puzzled, unsure why the other man's expression would change so suddenly. He didn't have to wonder for long before being given an explanation however the machine's whispers didn't help him cheer up again. Satisfied to be so close to the other male and to hold him Walter had forgotten about everything that was planed for the day but that didn't mean he wanted to change any of it.

-"No one's going to ruin this, we can stay together for a long time before anyone shows up." He reminded Sky, assuming it was still morning and that no one would come so early.

"Also... if you like this... we can sleep like this tonight too... And you wanted to interact with other humans, right? You're the most interesting machine any of us have ever worked with, so we'll most likely be taking about you any way." Walter's voice grew more quiet and he blushed while making an offer to the android, the rest of what he said after that sounded like an attempt to recover from that moment of being shy and once again nervous. However that wasn't the last of what he intended to do that would make him flustered. With a moment of reluctance he moved his hand slightly over the other man's back and placed a small kiss in his hair.

To say in the least, Sky was displeased at what he heard at first. He didn't want anyone to come over at all, he just wanted Walter all to himself, quite literally. Sky liked having permission to sleep here with him again like this, even though he would have crawled in bed with him if he hadn't been told flatly that he couldn't. But wow. Walter said something that made the idea of visitors not so bad. He forgot that his friends were techies just like him... They wouldn't be all over Walter, they'd be all over him. His pout slowly became a wide, hidden grin he kept in the safety of the man's neck, he wanted to hide how much he desired to be the subject of praise. They'd call him amazing, smart, advanced, and...

And then he felt his hand, and Walter's kiss on his head. Sky's purely selfish thoughts seemed to end right after feeling these things because they weren't actions of praise, they were of affection from his owner. He's been kissed before, but he was a little surprised to feel him touch his back, which wasn't a typical thing a shy introvert could do easily at all. His cheeks weren't as red as Walter's but they did gain slight color as his smile was more content, "When you put it like that," He chuckled, "Okay... But hold onto me more. Like this-" squeezing the man, he gave a laugh, "Don't be so shy. Not only am I yours, I can't break easily. And I want to know you want me here just as much as I want to be here- here- h--ere." Yet another glitch occurred, but like before, he saw no threat in his system and only took it as an embarrassing action from the large flux of emotion he had been showing this morning, "Fufu... Oops..."

Walter smiled, amused by the small glitch now that he was more sure it wasn't a sign of anything dangerous. The errors the machine encountered were beginning to seem more like personal quirks, somewhat charming in an odd way.

-"I know I can't break you." Walter replied quietly and laughed softly as his arms wrapped more tightly around the other man to mirror the example he'd been given. He found it much easier to bring himself closer to him and touch him freely now that he was invited to. There wasn't much he could do to ruin things or a way to cross a boundary he was unaware of while the android was telling him what he wanted.

For a long moment Walter was silent and moved his hand along the machine's back, caressing him so lightly he wondered if the other male would even notice it. He gathered the confidence to do this only after receiving such a positive response to his previous action, however his hand still shook lightly because he couldn't fully calm down.

-"I've been wondering... do you like being in sleep mode?" Walter asked to start a conversation that would hopefully both help him relax and understand the other man a bit better. "I know you sleep only when I'm asleep too and you've got nothing left to do. You don't need sleep like a human... and I doubt it make's you feel rested..." He listed what he assumed to be true but grew quiet to give Sky a chance to explain how he really felt. His smile grew wider at the thought, it had been only a few days, he wasn't sure if the chip had even loaded fully and he could already do such a thing as discuss about the androids feelings.

In the silence, which to him didn't feel awkward in any way, he was trying to figure out if he really would just like to stay like this with Walter all day, or indeed have people come over to glorify his existence. Both would make him feel good... And both were greedy things. How he learned on his own to gain such a nasty trait was unknown, but Sky took a guess it just had to do with the fact he liked attention. He stopped thinking about it when Walter spoke up, asking about his sleep mode, focusing on his words and soft voice. "Well, in a way it is a chance for my systems to take a break, but you're right, that isn't needed..."

"Sleep mode for me is..." Walking around in nothingness, holding a ballon: interesting but it was mundane, not even the addition of having his footsteps interact with a solid, yet liquified flooring did much to make it better. He had to say the only thing interesting was the flower because there was no dirt for it to be in and no sunlight. It was an anomaly inside an anomaly. And this anomaly was Walter, he was sure of it. The flower felt warm, just like the man holding him lightly. "Interesting. It's interesting for me. Even if it gives me no true gains, every day is something new. And now you've entered with me as well... I think it's because I like you, Walter. And I can't get enough of my owner." He chuckled, "As long as you're there in sleep mode, I can deal with it."

Walter's blush intensified at the other man's theory on why he was now appearing in his dreams and while he wanted to further discuss his sleep mode he found himself briefly distracted. There was a limit to the number of times the android could mention how much he liked him before Walter could no longer resist wondering what exactly it is the machine meant by that. Of course, it was easiest to assume that being the android's owner earned him a sort of unconditional love however Sky seemed far too clever to be affectionate towards someone who's personality and behaviour weren't to his liking.

-"I suppose what you see while in sleep mode is similar to a dream... though I think it would be difficult for you to know what exactly a dream is like for others." Walter spoke to return his focus to their conversation, though it seemed more like he was considering things for himself and not expecting an answer.

-"How was I there?" He asked after a pause, his voice curious while he wondered how he and the other man interacted inside his sleep mode. He believed this could give him some hint both to what the android thought of him and to how his mind worked, however he doubted he would be able to extract any meaning if the machine's dreams turned out to be complex and abstract.

Something so entirely human like a dream would never be understood by an android, not even Sky, no matter how hard someone tried to explain it. For the time being, Sky would just explain things to Walter about his sleep mode instead, "You were a small flower." He didn't try to make it sound better than it actually was at all, "In fact, I almost stepped on you because I didn't know you were there." Sky chuckled with a childlike smile, slightly pulling away from his face, only to be able to see his red face and his reaction to his words, "But don't worry, now that I know that you're there, I'll be a lot more careful of my step... You can't speak or communicate at all so I have no choice but to keep myself wary. And yeah. I know it's you because it's a warm flower. Just like how you're warm now, Walter."

The flower had a green center too of course, but he knew he would get a better reaction out of him if the reason was a lot more intimate. Honestly there was no limit to the number of times Walter could blush and Sky wouldn't get tired of seeing it. A fresh face being tainted with color from embarrassment of his unfiltered words was just too good to get bored of. What it was that made it a mission to be seen as much as possible, the machine thought that it might be his taste to tease or he liked the idea that he could shake up a shut-in who barely ever interacted with other people. Or he just liked being the one to make him blush... Or all of them.

From how lightly the android spoke of nearly stepping on him Walter began to worry that the machine might be the one to break him and not the other way around, it certainly felt like he was attempting to from how tightly he'd held him before. He knew though that the other man was really only showing him how much he liked being beside him, like he'd mentioned before.

-"All humans are warm." Walter said quickly in his defence when the android brought attention to the warmth emanating from him like it was purely a side product of their proximity. Their eyes met again, only for a moment but it was enough to add to how nervous Walter was, however this one he did his best not to let it show on his face. It was difficult to be smart and make any sort of argument now that the other man wasn't leaned into him but he had to at least try hiding how flustered he was.

-"Why am I a flower in your dream?" Walter didn't bother being correct with details and went ahead with calling whatever the android was experiencing in sleep mode a dream. He wondered if flowers held any significance for the other male or if they were a symbol that appeared to him for no clear reason. "And... how can a flower be warm any ways?" It occurred to Walter after a brief moment that in reality it was very unlikely for a plant to be either warm or cold.

"Flowers aren't warm, Walter, you know that," he laughed gently, "But that's why I know it was you aside from all other things. Do you think I've been so close to a human before that I was able to feel all of their body heat like you? I've only felt how warm a human really is because of you. Touching hands first, then being able to sleep right beside you... It's nice." Being a machine, he wasn't as warm as a human being. His normal functions were to maintain a stable temperature inside of his body at all times, so he never could be too hot or too cold to the touch. So upon having Walter's warmth so near his, he never could ignore the sensation it brought to him internally. Literally and emotionally.

Sky brought himself closer again, pressing against him more this time as he went to his ear muttering, "It is nice not only because you have worth to me, but because like now, I can tell you're very nervous. Very embarassed... Your heart is beating quite fast too. I can feel it against me. And that feels good as well, Walter. I like it a lot." Whether it was his growing nature to speak in such a suggestive tone or it was his ghost functions making him do it, Sky still was taking advantage of his embarrassment for his own amusement. But how could he not. It was getting more and more obvious that his words were affecting him, from blushing severely, to defending himself quickly, his eyes, and of course to the fact his questions were flawed as if he wasn't thinking at all.

Having failed to conceal how nervous he was, Walter resorted to being honest with the other man though he doubted that would turn out well for him. However with how the android spoke to him now, what remained of his intelligence was scraped away and what was left afterwards lacked the capacity to recognize it would leave itself bear for more teasing.

-"I'd rather you not know I'm so nervous... It's not pleasant to be so worked up... I'm afraid I'll be the one to ruin this, that I'll say something wrong or... just upset you..." Walter revealed what he was frightened of and was very glad the android had leaned closer to him again, both because it helped him feel more comfortable and allowed him to hold the machine more tightly with ease.

Already becoming unsure if it was the right decision to be straight forward he searched for a topic he could move on to. He considered what else the android had said, that he was the only human he'd ever been this close to and that thought alone made him happier. "I hadn't even seen a humanoid machine before meeting you... I didn't know anything until I had to add the chip to edit you..." He smiled softly at his own words and closed his eyes, hoping it would help him relax.

Walter was worried that he might upset him? It's possible he might say something wrong, he's done it before, but nothing too wrong can come out as a response from having his nerves tickled like this. The only thing that would make him upset no matter what would be being ignored, or not being given a small amount of attention compares to something else... Like with the computer. He really hated that thing. Walter? He can't ruin this by himself. He was thinking of what and how to respond, but being held tighter and having the subject change, he just let it slip by. The only real way he'd stop being nervous so much, after all, is when he was more used to these kinds of moments. Sky did intent for these moments to happen as long as he was able to rest next to Walter in the same bed.

He chuckled at the man's words, finding it funny how he said that so softly and honestly, even though he had no control over being the machine to be given to him, nor having the chip implemented in his empty system. Being taken out of the category of "object" and into something else, he did feel lucky for that. Nothing can describe the feeling of having the gift of a conscious mind. Sky kept looking over Walter's face, smiling and pressing his lips to his cheek for a light kiss, "You're welcome then," closing his eyes, the android kept his face close, "I am the best you'll ever have... And there's only one me thanks to you, only Walter gets the best... Ah. I don't want to them coming over, even if they'll do nothing but say how amazing I am. I have you to do that..."

Walter was glad the android gave no resistance to him changing the topic of their conversation, though he was sure he hadn't ignored the last of what he'd said completely. He frowned softly however, hearing the other man point out so proudly that he was one of a kind made him very sure Sky would be upset with him if he ever created a chip for another machine. Of course, he would never even try to replace him, but this software he'd given him would most likely be the best invention of his life and while he knew there was more to be done to improve it, he disliked the idea of never working on something similar again.

-"You would be the best even if there were thousands of you..." Walter corrected the other man even though his comment seemed a bit out of place because the android was unaware of what he'd just been thinking. "It wouldn't be polite to tell them not to come... and I do want to see them..." He admitted and wondered just how long it had been since he'd seen his friends in person. For months he'd only spoken to people when he needed some sort of help or resources for his projects and he even did that only through messages and calls. "Is there anything you want us to do together? I want to make it up to you if you don't have a good day." Walter offered and smiled softly, of course the blush still not fading completely from his face.

If there were thousands of him, Sky thought, he wouldn't worry about being, nor try being the best one, he'd just do his best to make sure he was the only one. Sky was a jealous machine and would be terrible with competition... But he was just assuming that Walter said that just in agreement to his words. Why would Walter need to have a thousand Skys? He only needed one android to work with, he only had one chip, and it was already established that Sky would be the best even if there were others. Walter wasn't stupid enough to make more after him either. For that, Sky wasn't overthinking too much over the idea and continued to enjoy the time he had together with the man.

Sky realized there was no avoiding having Walter's friends come over, but it was good to hear he was willing to make it up with a request. Smiling at him, he gave a giggle, finding the offer cute, "I wouldn't know yet. But I'll think of something if I don't have a good time, Walter, believe me." The only thing he could possibly think of was staying in bed again like this, but this wouldn't be considered payment because it was already certain they'd become like this again in bed tonight. Well, he had time to think about it... But honestly, if Walter was right about how this visitation will go, he wouldn't hate it at all. Glorification, adoration, affection, ect, he'd enjoy that very much.

~~~~~
They couldn't stay in bed together forever, just as Walter said. A phone rang beyond the door of the bedroom and it forced the man to get up and check in with his friends, leaving Sky pouting in bed. The android took over Walter's spot in the blanket, soaking in the heat that was left behind. Laying there, listening to him on the phone in the next room, Sky silently thought about how much he really liked being warm. He didn't think anything of it until he realized... He wasn't even supposed to feel outside temperatures. Sky's eyes widened large at the realization and became very confused at how he was able to sense the warmth, but also how he was even thinking that it WAS normal. He only was able to blame it on believing he was still a normal android, coming up with explanations for himself to suit what he was becoming.
Sky shook out of it when Walter came back, asking him to get out of bed to help set up a few things. He also was stunned to see his place clean for once, so Sky's lack of enthusiasm for visitors changed slightly, only because he had been hand fed praise. He helped Walter set up some glasses of water at the table, helped sweep up and fluff the pillows of the sofa~ it was boring to him, but he could tell Walter was getting excited for human contact.
Sitting down at the table when there was a knock at the door, he stared at Walter as he went to open it up. From what he recalled, these people weren't so bad. They didn't treat him the same as Walter did, but he thought that he'd be able to handle it.
The three people came inside with smiles, a single yellow balloon and one of them was holding a small cake. One of them was a lanky red headed girl with circular glasses, another was a pale man with stubble on his face from, Sky guessed, being shaved the day Sky was brought over, and the last guy had a slightly darker complexion with his hair ties behind his head in a small ponytail, Leandro might have been his name. They all gave their greetings, but stopped when they noticed something very different about the environment.
"It's... Clean! Wow!" The girl, named Clairiece, grinned, "You got it to clean up? I'm surprised you even allowed that, Walter, haha~"
Sky blinked, not gaining a greeting smile at all. Did she just call me it? I'm sitting right here. I can hear her. He was fine being called that before, but he wasn't an object anymore. He was Sky, not IT.
"Yeah. I don't even think I have ever seen it look like this before," the stubble guy, Trevor, commented and raised a thumb up, "Yeah. Things must be quite interesting for you huh?"
Because his fiends were the few rare people Walter didn't felt nervous around, he smiled openly upon seeing them and there was no hint his expression would become any less pleasant soon. He stepped to the side enough for the three humans to come inside, they already knew their way around his apartment, though even he himself had never seen it as neat as it was now.
-"I wouldn't have decided to clean this place on my own." He agreed with a soft nod and glanced over the room, having had little time to study how things had been rearranged before their guests arrived. "Sky really wanted to do this though, it was the only thing he wanted to do at first actually... I'm just glad we agreed on it because there seems to be so much more space now." It didn't slip by Walter how his friend made a mistake when speaking about the android, however he wasn't the kind bold enough to outright correct her. In stead he dressed the machine properly in his own comment and hoped everyone would catch on and follow his example.
-"Only a fraction of the chip was loaded when we first spoke about what to do though, he has more interest than just organising things now." Walter explained and would look over to the android occasionally while he spoke. For many reasons, he couldn't help but talk about Sky, he was with people who could understand just how the chip was functioning and how the android was turning out to be something amazing.
