Name: Rayune

Age: 20

Height: 194 cm

Weight: 73

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Dark brown

Race: Hunting Hound

Powers: Ability to sense magic

Wears: Dark clothes for blending into dark places. Dark brown or black jackets, dark green shirts, dark colored pants... His clothes are usually dirty from being outside most of the day, some are torn from going through thick vegetation

Weapons: A hunting knife, fangs, claws

Other: He wears a leather collar with his owner's initials on it: AQ (Asinl Qhy)

Personality: The gentle giant has always been soft at heart ever since he was small. Being taken in by his master, a demon, he desperately tries to be tough and possibly tries too hard sometimes. He has the ability to love anything with a heartbeat, being almost incapable of hating people. When he's around his master, he grows quieter and solemn to hide the fact he hasn't changed, though does a poor job of it with his natural clumsiness. He grows tired of hiding his true nature and becomes depressed every now and then because of it.

Extra: Not all hounds have the ability to sense magic, making him a special catch for a demon who likes to hunt special game. Asinl found out Rayune was able to smell magic when the young hound was able to tell he wasn't human while passing him by, going to him and asking what he was~ at the time, Rayune had never encountered a demon before, and as of now, he lives with one and with an older hunting dog (Keyne), who doesn't have his special ability.

On his first night of a solo hunting task, Rayune looked up while carrying an empty glass bottle, seeing moonlight past the tree tops. He so tired, he had already out all morning and afternoon with Keyne, something that happened often to improve his own skills. Their days together, just the two of them, were filled with playing the most intense game of hide and seek. It involved hiding from each other and trying to find them. There was no limits to how far they went and to end a turn, they had to tackle each other down and hold the other for at least five seconds. He hated doing it. Rayune felt really scared when he was the one being hunted, even if it was just a training. He also hated being the one to hunt Keyne because even if he found him, he didn't like having to tackle him down. Violence just wasn't in him.

Now, on a bright full moon night, he was in charge of bringing back a moonlight fairy. He's seen them before in these woods, they were very beautiful and kind... doing this for the first time, he'd be sick of a broken heart. Rayune continued on, getting a breeze carrying the same kind of smell that made his senses tingle. Which meant there was something he was supposed to be looking for in that direction. The hound went in the direction the wind came from and nodded to himself with a frown, I won't be able to say hello to the fairies anymore after this... I know that for a fact.

Rayune looked around as he walked, not paying attention to where he was walking until there was nothing under his foot on his next step. It was a sharp hill and the hound went heeling over down, getting scratched up and covered in dirt on the way down like a tumbling rock. Every bounce hurt, but he was already taught to not make noises while hunting, so he kept his lips shut, tearing up by the time the hill came back to leveled ground, but he hit something and then landed on something soft and warm. The canine's eyes were closed in recoil from his dangerous fall, only taking a deep breath and... smelling more magic! Rayune's eyes opened fast and looked down, seeing that he fell on somebody reeking of magic. He was still on top of him, staring down at a head of brown hair and fluffy ears. "...What are you?"

Mogare hummed under his breath. He was actually looking for the mushrooms for a stew. Sure he liked fresh meat, bloody and all. But sizzled or cooked tasted really good as well. And the stew? What could there be better? And the fox shifter sure knew how to cook. After all eating was one of the most basic pleasures one could experience. Other than sex of course~

The fox shifter build his home high on a tree to make sure that no one uninvited would pester him. Since it was really high Mogare made sure to mask it with illusion spell so it would be impossible to be seen from downstairs. He also had his ways to mask the smoke coming from the chimney as well as the delicious smell going any father that the doors to his home.

He of course found quite quickly what he was searching for but the stopped in half move. Waiiit.. I can go and collect muruki.. Muruki was a kind of a mushroom that so far the fox shifter described as the best ones he ever had. The tricky thing about them was that they were growing next to the farm... and that wasn't a save place to be. Also the way there and coming back would take him three hours but Mogare knew he would appreciate it later on. It took him few longer moments to decide.

A hour and a half later he was grinning and picking the first mushrooms. Then his ears twitched, picking some strange noise. Straightening up he looked around. The hounds? But then he saw it. Something falling down the hill. It was too late to try to move away so soon all air was knocked out of his lungs while his head hit the ground.

It took few long seconds for to cough and start to breathe again. Then he reached with a soft groan to the back of his poor head. Opening his eyes he tried to focus his gaze but it took some longer time for Mogare to be able to see who fell on him. Though the question he heard made him snap.

"And what stupid question is that? You blind or what? Also you should first apologize for falling on me before you would ask", he growled, still feeling all over the back of his head and knowing that there would be a bruise later on.

Rayune stared more before it came to him, "I'm sorry! I looking for something and I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings... I tripped and rolled down the... S-Sorry, Mr. Fox." He sounded very apologetic, but it didn't look like he was going to be getting off of him anytime soon, he was just distracted. The name Mr. Fox came from him always calling things around the forest by such names. Mr. Fox, Ms. Robin, Mrs. Deer... It just came to him like that, and so did his friendliness, "My name is Rayune," he smiled, "Its very nice to meet you."

The smell, there was no denying it. This guy used magic. And it was a fox... He wasn't that much of an idiot where he didn't realize what he was supposed to be doing with him being the hound of a demon. If Keyne was here, he wouldn't hesitate to... bite deep in Mr. Fox's neck and make him bleed until he stops moving for good or claw out his throat for a quicker kill. Rayune was supposed to a rabbit for his owner and he did do it, under too much pressure, and was devastated for three straight weeks. If he didn't have such a special ability, he'd be thrown away and he knew that. On top of that, he wasn't small. with his frame, he had the potential to be a real threat. Nevertheless, one day he feared that his owner would loose his patience in training him and be tossed away regardless.

A fox. He couldn't imagine how much praise, how much rewards he'd get if he took a magic wielding fox back home. Keyne told him how crafty foxes were, they were hard to come by too. Rayune tumbled down a hill and landed right on one. He could kill Mr. Fox right here, right now, and take him home instead of bringing back a moonlight fairy, and then come up with a more awesome story of getting it. He'd be fed feasts for a whole month he bet. He'd be able to stay home more and maybe he'd also be able to taste Asinl's precious chocolate.

He could do that. But he wasn't even able to kill a rabbit without his owner and the other hound pushing him and growling at him to do it. There was no way he'd ever kill anything on his own. Rayune sighed sadly all of a sudden, "Mr. Fox, you know its kinda dangerous in this place. Theres a hunter and there are these two dogs he has that he uses to kill things for him. I hope you don't live around here."

Mogare blinked at the friendly smile.. And those eyes before him had something so warm inside of them... Shaking his head he then frowned. A hounds.. The hounds! Then it clicked. That smell. He knew it since now and then he got closer to the farm. Still.. the other didn't attack him. Why?

"Well.. I know. I know you are from there. But.... you don't seem to be aggressive like those other bastards", he said and tilted his head only to got out from under the made, at least trying to. "Now get off of me so we could talk like a civilized creatures and not like... some animals."

When at last he was free he started to pat his trousers, his shaply rear and then his shirt. Rubbing his nose he then sneezed, some of the dirt getting inside probably being a reason of that. Then he looked at Rayune.

"Well.. my name is Mogare and as you saw I'm a fox shifter. So... you are from the farm? And a dog? Doesn't it bother you to kill the innocent ones?", he asked, too curious to not to ask. "You don't look like someone... evil. So.. why would you listen to your master to kill those that didn't do anything wrong?"

Of course it wasn't very smart of him to say something like that but still.. he wanted to know. The dog shifter didn't attack him when he could.. and right now he was able to defend himself or to escape the other. Also he knew a bit about the things that were happening here.. and at farm as well since he slept with a rooster there when he went out to see what was around the farm.

He looked down and dusted off his face of the dirt because he could already picture Mr. Fox, Mogare, laughing at him for being the worst hunting dog ever, "My master gave me a home, a warm place to sleep and takes care of me. I want to be good for him, but... I... I can't. I don't want to hurt anything. I already have such a hard time trying to be aggressive, I feel like I can't come home now because I'm supposed to be bringing back one of the moonlight fairies, but I can't. They're so nice and they're fun to play with, I'll cry to death before being able to..." Speaking of that, where was the jar? Rayune closed his mouth, looking around, seeing shattered glass a few feet away from them, "Oh no!"

Rayune was extremely devoted to Asinl, and he would say and think that he wouldn't capture one of the fairies, but he would because it was asked of him. He'd be hurt, but he'd do it if he wanted to make his owner happy. The hound now couldn't capture one even if he wanted to, giving up, he slumped over until his forehead was on the ground, "I don't want to hurt anything and I don't want to be mean to others, but I have to... I'm sorry Mogare, but what would you do?" He looked up a little, "But you don't have to answer. In fact, You can leave if you want since I know if my master knew I found a fox shifter, he'd expect me to hurt you too... But don't worry, I wouldn't tell him I found you though..."

If the demon did know he missed the chance to snag a fox, he'd get a punishment and he and Keyne would go after Mr. Fox. Keyne is a good hunter, so if he caught his scent, it might as well be over for Mogare. When he didn't kill a deer once, Asinl forced the hound to watch him skin the animal once it was caught. This life was tough for the softie, but the demon was the only one who was kind to him his hole life. In exchange, all he wanted was a dog that could do what it was supposed to do. It wasn't supposed to be like this.

Mogare listened to everything that the other male said and then shook his head. He of course understood what was being said but once again demons were not the ones to trust lightly. Actually Rayune was being deceived into believing that his master was good and all he needed to listen to was the right thing.

"Now listen, Rayune. You master is a really evil creature. He is a demon. Not all demons all evil but he is. He killed really many people in here. And they didn't do anything bad. I knew some of them and I can assure you of that little fact", he said and then added. "Since you seem like a good guy.. why would you listen to such person? I can show you how it is like outside that fence of yours.. There is no need for you to listen to that demon.."

Not sure what to say more Mogare fell silent, rubbing his neck. He now had a chance to show this dog, the 'little' slave of the demon, how the real life looked like. The fox shifter wasn't really sure if he would be able to do that but he still could try, right? Looking at the 'doggy' he felt like petting him and stroke him behind the ears. Rayune was just so cute.

His ears low, he shook his head after more silence passed, "I can't do that, Mogare," he mumbled, feeling defeated. He was aware that this demon wasn't the best guy in the world to the rest of society, but he couldn't see him like that for more than a few seconds. He remembered the day he was taken up as if it happened yesterday. Rayune was fileethy and weak, but Asinl smiled at him as if they were friends and took his hand. The demon treated him to a dinner of whatever he wanted then took him, giving him a cozy bed on a full stomach. It was the best thing ever. It definitely wasn't considered falling into a trap of kindness. The demon still continued to be nice to him on... frequently. Whenever he did get love in the form of petting, scratching and special privileges, Rayune would be utterly overwhelmed with loyalty and fuzzy feelings.

"He's given me so much, I'll feel really bad if I disobeyed him," picking his head up from the floor, he patted more dirt off of his dark sweater, "Its bad enough that his special hunting dog is afraid of hurting other things, if I did things he didn't want, he won't call me a good boy anymore." Being called that by Asinl was something very important to him too. On the streets, he'd be called a mutt, a dirty stray, all the things from the book. The demon was the first one to call him that, and he had meant it. "Mogare, you wouldn't happen to own a jar, right? When I came down the hill, I dropped it and it broke," he sadly waved his arm in the direction of the broken bottle, "Or anything I can use? I can't go home until I bring it back. Or something interesting to my owner at least..."

When he heard about the hunting dog not able to hurt others he scoffed. Yes, the worst thing ever that someone couldn't hurt others just like that. Because he was ordered. Because he wanted to. Shaking his head he knew it was the lost case. The other's arguments were so childish. Yet.. maybe he would be able to show the other what was the real world like? And that what the demon did to him was a simple manipulation? He couldn't really get close to the farm since death would be a nice ending if he got caught. Still... how to show the other what he was missing?

Mogare blinked in confusion when he train of thoughts was stopped. Then he tilted his head.

"Why would you need a jar for? I don't want to give it to you if that would mean getting someone a death sentence.. And to give you a jar I would need to go back home.. and showing a hunting dog that can smell magic when I live is the last thing I would want to do... You seem to be a good guy.. but still it would be my end if your master would ask you where you were and you would tell him everything..", he muttered, sighing softly and then getting to picking out some bigger mushrooms, the basket slowly being filled up with them.

"I... I guess that's fair enough to say, but I wouldn't tell him where you are. He'd never know about you, so he wouldn't ask anyways," mumbling, he picked up the lid of the jar, sighing at it, "Okay, well. If I tell him I broke the jar, maybe it'll be okay. Because it's true, I did break it." The scratches and dirt still left over him would be evidence enough that he took a tumble. Asinl would believe him... But he'd still get a punishment, that being forced to sleep outside for a few days or be made to kill another animal just to prove he still had the ability in him. None of that was fun. Being alone at night made him feel sad and it wasn't as comfortable as his bed inside and killing another little animal... No, he definitely wouldn't like that.

Rayune dropped the top of the jar back on the ground and came over closer to Mogare, looking at the mushrooms he was picking, "You're gathering mushrooms? What for?" Asinl didn't gather anything himself, making Keyne do that once a week. Keyne always brough back a lot of things from roots, to herbs, to mushrooms! "If it's okay to ask that is. I swear I won't say anything about you. Not meeting you, not talking to you, and not even about how you're picking mushrooms."

The red eyes were covered by eyelids few times as the fox shifter blinked. And then he could help but chuckle. The other was sooooo damn cute! Reaching to his hair he petted them, quite surprised at how soft they were.

"You really are a good boy, aren't you?", he asked, shaking his head. "I'm making a stew. The mushroom from here are the best I ever ate so I made a little trip up here to gather some of them. I was about to take a second mushroom when you decided to fall on my head."

Chuckling some more he went back to his task.

"Well... if you're not telling your master about me then maybe I could ask you to join me for a dinner? I would give you some herbs to chew on so you wouldn't smell of food. And there I ways to make the smell leave your clothes as well", he said.

Mogare wouldn't be alive for so long so close to the farm if he wouldn't know some tricks to make himself save.

"Still... I wouldn't give you a jar. I am sorry.. since you probably would be punished... but still I can't do that. I hope you understand. Though.. how would you be punished?", asked the fox, too curious to not to ask.

Rayune adored affection, quickly finding it inside of him to smile once more as he was being pet by the fox, on top of that, he really enjoyed being called a good boy. Because he was! He disliked doing any wrong in the world, making him the best good boy there ever was. Being offered to join Mogare for dinner, his chocolate eyes lighting up brighter than the moon above them. Rayune was forced to find the fairy before eating and Keyne told him that if he got hungry, all he had to do was hunt an animal and eat it... he didn't like doing that, having a different reason besides the fact he didn't like to kill. Eating like a wild animal wasn't in his liking. He was a dog, but killing things for food isn't something he'd do. He never did that, not even when he was living on the streets, preferring trash than anything alive... A stew though. With mushrooms... it sounded so tasty.... Was he drooling?

Just in case if he was, he used the sleeve of his jacket to wipe his mouth, shaking himself out of it when Mogare asked about his punishment, reaching to help pick out more mushrooms for his basket, "I'll be forced to sleep outside and if I don't do a good job at all, my master makes me kill some kind of animal. Its usually a rabbit, a duck, one of the chickens or any kind of game so that when I'm done, we can eat it. I really don't like doing those things... But," he smiled a bit sadder, shrugging his shoulders, "Whatever punishment I get this time, its okay. I really didn't want to do the task in the first place because I know I'd feel bad if I did it... And I get to meet you and share a stew with you! Thats amazing!" Rayune was glad he had an excuse not to capture one of those fairies today.

Mogare rubbed his nose. Well.. sleeping outside wasn't a nice thing, he knew it from his own experience. Although Toriand was a nice place to live in with it's vast forest and a lot of food it wasn't like it was all that save. Especially since you could meet a demon here and there.. and that didn't belong to nice or safe encounters. Yet people of this land, or like master of this doggy liked to call them, animals had their ways to hide themselves. Not always they succeed but it was part of a life, wasn't it? Few years ago he tried to persuade one of his partners to leave the place but he was too scared to try. Mogare still would try.. but not alone. Walking through the mountains alone would be a clear suicide.

"Fine.. follow me then", said the fox shifter and headed to his home.

Sighing softly he wondered if it was a good idea. But he knew they weren't followed.. and Rayune seemed like a good guy. Could he be wrong about him? His ears lowered and tail started to sway from side to side while he kept thinking.

Forest of Toriand at night was a beautiful place. Of course if you knew what places should be avoided and what were the safe zones. Since they didn't need to hurry he chose the longer path. It would be hard for Rayune to remember it if he wanted. That.. and he wanted to show this big baby some of the forest he was helping his master to destroy.

Since he knew what Rayune was looking for he made sure they would be going through the place the small creatures choose today. Tomorrow they would be elsewhere anyway so there would be no harm done.

Looking at Rayune he wondered about his reaction.

Like a good boy, he went along with Mogare and in no time he was smelling things that caught his interest. Besides it being new, he could smell that not all the animals here were normal either. He could smell more magic around here, and in this concentrated area... he wondered if that was because of his master and himself and Keyne. All the creatures must have realized they were in danger before. Maybe. He hasn't been living around here for that long compared to the other two. He wished they weren't hunters, because here, it was so..

"Pretty..." Rayune muttered, his head turning all around like a owl, his eyes just as big as one, "I've never been here, Mr. Fox! Its so pretty!" He ran off, his brown tail swishing back and forth with excitement, looking and running behind trees and bushes, jumping over logs to go off ahead... he would be lifting up rocks just to see what was under then, but that was a bit too much, even for him. All these light light up the night better than the moon did, the colors so exotic to him. He wanted to stay here and explore for the entire night. He'd really miss this place though. For failing his master, he might be tied outside and be unable to anywhere, not even to the stream he liked to lay at on free days.

He popped out from behind one of the trees running back to the fox, taking a deep breath and he grabbed him and hugged him tight. Any more excitement, he felt like he might become a dog again by accident. It happened often when he got too excited... "Mogare, thank you for taking me here, it's so nice! I'll make sure my master doesn't find this place, not even Keyne!"

The fox chuckle when he saw the dog go all hyper. It was really cute. Then he actually blushed a bit being hugged like that. It took him some time to get used to the situation. And then enjoy it as the other's body was so much bigger than his.. and so strong. Mogare found himself wanting for it to last longer. Shaking his head at his own thoughts he then patted the other's back.

"It is all fine. Take your time to watch and please make sure to think a bit about what you saw here... and then on our way to my home", he said softly and started to walk again, slipping from the other's grasp.

Some time later they were on the place. Mogare touched the right tree and the magic guarding it let them step inside.. as well as see it at all.

"Welcome at my house", he said, getting to the cauldron and stirring what was inside it only to discover it was still smelling great.

The first room the one stepped in was the kitchen.

The whole way, Rayune frolicked all around, exploring while also making sure not to stay too far from Mogare. Each and every thing around him was so interesting to him, but at one point he kept by the fox, because he got tired and next to Mogare, he could be enjoying his scent and presence all the same. Having no clue he was living in a world like this, it did make him think about a few things.

Rayune lived in a far more boring version of these woods, there were no lights and in a lot of places, not even the moon's light helped, it was so dark and scary. He was terrified of crossing animals when he was with Asinl or Keyne because they'd want it dead for either sport or for 'teaching' him. With Mogare in these parts, it felt so much more free. He wasn't afraid, he didn't feel worried not one bit.

Inside the fox's home, he was stricken by how cozy it was. So nice and orderly, the smell coming from the cauldron was the cherry on top. The hound still followed the other, finding a chair to sit on that was close by, "Mogare, your home is so nice!" He wished he could stay here a lot longer than a night, but he was still to be expected back at his own home in the morning. It was going to be disappointing to have to sleep outside after knowing a place so nice existed where he could have been staying at. Still loyal, he'd still never abandon the demon. "When is the stew going to be ready? Are there games we can play while we wait?" His tail was wagging, "I'd still love to go out and maybe play a game of tag! That'd be fun right? What games do foxes like to play?"

Mogare smiled now and then on their way to his house. The other really was like a volcano of energy.. and it was nice to observe him going here and there only to sigh in awe. That was the way all should have a chance to be - free and happy. Of course it was impossible but still one could dream, huh?

When they were inside his home he smiled at the compliment. Well.. he tried to make it as homey as he could so having others liking it made him happy as well. Then he shook his head.

"No playing for now, mister. You want to eat then you as well can help making it", he said, washed two of the mushrooms and cut one of them into think stripes. "See? You do that and cut the leg separately."

Making sure the other knew what to do he washed the rest of mushrooms. That done he set them on the table for Rayune to cut it. He at the same time tasted the stew and added some herbs in as well as one more carrot. They were growing nearby so there was no problem with getting them. Mogare wasn't sure how they get there but they sure came in handy now and then.

Looking on the dog he sighed. If his master would only get those animals that weren't half human it would be fine. After all everybody needed to eat. But he only got the ones with magic abilities. Shaking his head he smiled and came closer so see how the other was doing.

"How's the work going on your end, puppy?", he asked jokingly.

The K-9 hadn't ever been a big help for cooking anything besides occasionally helping Keyne to find ingredients or killing an animal for the meat. Asinl didn't bother to ask Rayune to cut anything because usually every time he held a knife, he couldn't keep a steady hand. The demon kept it to himself, but he had already half-given up on this dog, the only thing keeping him there was the small light of hope that Rayune would some day be the greatest hunting dog in the land. He was huge, he was naturally strong and he had the ability to smell magic. He'd be absolutely damned if he let this hound go, then was picked up by a different hunter, then built better. Rayune was going to learn how to be vicious and cruel if it was the last thing he knew.

That same hound was in the home of a magical fox, cutting mushrooms for a stew they'd eat together, which was taking a very big step back from being vicious or cruel. When he was instructed on what to do with the mushrooms and was left to do it, at first his hand was wobbly with the knife because not only can they be used to cause harm to others, it can harm the holder as well. He cut his finger once and it hurt worse than he thought, it took an entire week to properly heal too.

The large male took a steady breath and looked over at Mogare, watching him work on his own. There was no need to be so nervous here. Asinl wasn't here, Keyne neither. Looking back at the mushrooms, he started to cut them just like how the fox did.

"P-puppy?" he smiled shyly and moved to the side a little so his huge self could show Mogare his work, cutting the last mushroom, chuckling, "I just finished them... I was really careful to get them evenly cut, but its hard. I'm not used to using knifes in the kitchen." Or at all, in fact. "What else can I do to help?" Rayune's tail wagged, hitting the side of the counter top with a small thump each time he wagged.

Rayune's reaction made Mogare grin a bit, his fluffy tail wagging softly. Now that was amusing.. and somehow made him want to hug the big male. Then he looked at the mushrooms and nodded his head.

"They are just right", he said and started to throw them into the cauldron. "The more you cut the better you will get. And no. There is nothing to do more. about fifteen minutes and it should be ready to eat. Here, you can have some cookies before it. I baked them yesterday. They are with nuts."

That said he took out a plate of cookies and put it before Rayune. He deserved that much.. though he hoped the other wouldn't go even more hyper after that. His poor house could not take it. Chuckling a bit at the thought he reached to the other's hair and petted them softly. Then Mogare blinked and blushed a bit as he noticed what he was doing. Shaking his head he focused on getting the bowls out and some bread for them.

"So... how it is to life there? On the farm?", he asked, trying to focus on something.. anything really.

Still it was intriguing him how the one could life with that demon and still be like Rayune - poor and naive. Full of innocent joy.

"Cookies? I haven't had any in such a long time," the last time he had some was when Asinl was still spoiling him with goodies. His favorite were the sugar cookies, which the demon made into different shapes with the cookie cutters he let Rayune pick out, a lot of them were stars and flowers, but he'd make one bunny so it seemed like the little bunny was surrounded by stars in a flower field. He felt really creative in doing that and Asinl thought so too, however the demon hated the experience because it really showed how much of a pansy the hound was.

He took a cookie with a smile, smiling wider with his head being pet by Mogare's soft hands. Nibbling on the nutty treat, he watched the fox blush and shake his head. He was so cute! Rayune wished he was pet more, but he was already getting such good treatment by the fox he just met, he didn't want to be pushing it. "The farm itself is nice! I wish I wasn't such a special dog, I'd just love to hang around the farm and play all day. The chickens are fun to chase and they don't hold it against me because I feed them too. Recently a goat had a little baby, and it's really adorable," he ate the rest of the cookie in a single bite, "My master said I could name it anything I wanted, which is really cool! I just haven't thought of a name yet. I was leaning towards Flower because it likes to eat flowers, or Bumble. Like a bumble bee... She bumbles around because she doesn't know how to walk completely yet. What do you think is a good name for a little goat?"

Mogare's eyes widened when he heard about the names for a goat's baby and he couldn't help but chuckle. Seriously the other was adorable beyond reason. For such a big guy he really was more like a puppy than a real hound. Though that was the reason he invited Rayune for meal in the first place, wasn't it? Then he hummed.

"Both are really pretty names. I'm not sure what I would chose for a name.. Maybe Minoki? Minoki are small, pretty flowers growing next to all older trees", he said softly and added. "So I guess I'm going for a flowerish name just like you, Rayune."

"And to tell you the truth I never thought that a farm run by a demon could be nice", he said softly, shrugging. "My whole family was killed by some demon so maybe that was the reason I imagined that it would be a dark and sad place. So.. you said earlier that the demon picked you up? Was it because of your.. talents? Sensing the magic around you?"

That asked Mogare sat down and took one of the cookies while sipping some water. Since they had a little bit of time before the food would be ready he decided to ask some more questions.

"Minoki! I really like that name," he bit another whole cookie and licked the crumbs off his lips. He was happy to have a name suggestion. When he asked Keyne what to call the goat, he said to call it mince meat or runt. It was a small little goat, but if Rayune took good care of it, the little thing would grow up nice and healthy and supply them with great milk and tasty cheese.

Rayune's smile didn't last, it was impossible after hearing what happened to Mogare's family. Whoever that monster was, they should feel bad. Killing his whole family... What would there to possibly be gained out of doing something like that? "Y-yes," he looked down, "I was able to tell he wasn't human because he smelled different. My master was the first demon I came across, so that's why I asked him what he was. That's how he found out. Then he took me in... Mr. Fox, I'm sorry that happened to your family. But don't think that the demon in my life is that evil. He's not like that." Rayune honestly didn't believe Asinl would go as far as to kill an entire family of foxes just because they possessed magic. He wouldn't do it for the hunt nor for selfish satisfaction. The hound was actually wrong in that way. Too innocent to believe the one he looked up to would be that cruel. "He's a hunter, but that's too mean for him to do."

Mogare could see the other honestly thought like that about that demon. Well.. he was naive so it was only to be expected. Shaking his head he thought of some other subject. It wasn't like he needed to make Rayune's dreamy world a little bit realistic. There probably would come a time he would need to face it anyway. Then he smiled.

"How did you find everything you saw today? Beautiful isn't it?", he asked and then added. "There are even more stunning places but they are a bit closer to the mountains. I'm sure there are a lot of things you didn't see so far. There is even a tavern hidden deep under ground. Only few of us that trust each other knows about the place. It's the only place one could drink some alcohol around these woods and dance."

That said he stood up and opened the window. He lit up one of the cigarettes he took out from a drawer and took a deep drag. Letting out the smoke he had done a nice, big circle from it and then a smaller one. His red eyes rested on Rayune and he smiled softly.

"I was wondering.. but how old are you Rayune? With you being so tall and big I'm unable to say", said the fox shifter, his ears perking up a bit.

He would have never known about any kind of tavern out here in the forest, the information was weird to him because he only thought they were in villages and other towns. Rayune never has been to one and didn't think he wanted to either. Hes been by one before when he was a stray, the people who came out were temperamental and rude. If that's what alcohol does to good people, he didn't want to be apart of it. Mogare though didn't look like he'd be mean like the men he's witnessed before... Still, he wouldn't do it himself.

"Oh, yes, Mogare. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen!" He was than, fuel the subject had changed, his dark eyes following the kind fox to see what he was doing, "I'd love to go closer to the mountains if I ever got the chance. I wouldn't go alone though, I'm sure I'd get lost or I'd fall down a more dangerous kind of hill and pass out." He laughed, just joking. That kind of thing was a real threat to him though based off of how hyper and inattentive he was running around in these parts. He often didn't learn his lesson from his experiences.

Chewing on a tasty cookie once more, he smiled cutely, "I'm 20 years old right now! My master says he can't wait for me to get older because he's curious to know if I'll get bigger. I am too, but I miss being small... Small like you, Mogare!" Rayune could tell that the fox shifter was older than him, but he couldn't guess either because he was so much smaller than himself," What about you? 22? 23?"

The fox shifter chuckled when he imagined Rayune running here and there only to found himself rolling into some river. Yes, that wouldn't be good. Yet he didn't mean the puppy going alone when he mentioned the mountains.

What the other said later on stunned him for few moments.. and there it was. A blush covering his cheeks in burning wave.

"Hey. I-it's not nice calling someone small just because you are so tall", he muttered, rubbing his neck with his free hand and then looking at Rayune. "And I'm actually 26. Do I look younger? I wouldn't really mind since when I'm forty you can still say I'm thirty."

Rubbing his chin made it obvious he was only joking.

"If we meet someday again I could show you some of those places and maybe even the tavern", he said, smiling softly only to add. "I really believed you when you promised you wouldn't say anyone what you saw today. Don't let me down, please.."
