Rayune followed the fox on command, still feasting his eyes on the new environment called Mogare's home. He couldn't get over how cozy it was in here. All the wood, it was relaxing. Though he was looking around, he still managed to notice how weird the fox was walking, just like a little newborn lamb, and it was cuter to see that he was still blushing, which made the hound smile almost proudly as he was behind him. Once getting to the bathroom, he was blessed with another unique room that he reminded himself that was created by Mr. Fox himself, his mouth an O as he came to the tub and sat down by it, looking at the water fill up the tub slowly like, you guessed it, a big puppy, "It's very nice! I really like the tub, I've never seen anything like it before." Wagging his tail, he looked at Mogare, "I usually just take baths in the lake. Only when I'm good can I be allowed to use my master's tub. But I like the lake more since its a lot bigger than a tub." He also liked the lake because he enjoyed chasing the ducks, but that was childish and he refrained from mentioning it and he felt like it wasn't a very "big dog" thing to do. He still couldn't get over certain habits like that... Though he did a good job at keeping his true nature hidden from Asinl enough where he wouldn't get disappointed in him again.

"Well.. this fox have many friends and is a one hell of a talented person so..", he said, grinning as the tub was filling with warm water. "And about the lake - I like it as well. It feels nice to swim in there.. still it's much more convenient to have a place to wash yourself closer than the lake. Though it's closer from the farm.."

 

As the bathtub filled to half the fox decided he could sit inside and just to simply wait for the rest while being comfortable. His red eyes rested on Rayune and he beckoned to him, wanting for the dog to hop inside. The bathtub was big enough for them both to get in it.

"Sit behind me.. since you are bigger than me it would be more comfortable for both of us.. and if the tail disturbs you then move it to the side", said Mogare, making a place for a puppy and then reaching for a herbal essence he used when he wanted to hide his smell. "Wash with it, it will make you smell like flowers and herbs. No way for them to figure out where you really wear. Just to be on the safe side you can jump into some river or lake on our way back so your clothes wouldn't smell strangely."

 

That said Mogare started to wash himself, his long fingers slowly washing off all running over his soft skin as he cleaned his arms first.

He sat behind the fox, perfectly fine with this arrangement. Sighing calmly, Rayune smiled and closed his eyes, enjoying the temperature of the bathwater and having Mogare nearby, still close to him. This bath was very nice he had to say, a lot better than Asinl's by far... not to say his master's bath wasn't nice... it was! It always smelled like almonds and butterscotch. "I like this smell, but I want to be very safe with this. I'll go in the lake to make myself smell more normal," he said, taking the soap. Though his normal smell might actually be more close to sweat and dirt with the mix of pond water... He always got so dirty when he was outside because he would keep tumbling and tripping and falling, ect. The other hound at the farm called it the smell of failure. Asinl would snap at Keyne, but Rayune felt like it was pretty much correct regardless.

 

"Do you let others bathe with you?" he asked quietly in Mogare's ear with a halfhearted smile. He could forget how sensitive his hearing could be and meant no harm by speaking so quietly in his ear. The brunet scrubbed the soap in his hair, his ears twisting back so none of it would go inside them, and used his nails to get it in deep. "I don't know, but I should say a little of what I've been feeling. I know you have your own life and you should live it however you want no matter what... But I mgiht be a little jealous over some things.... I'm sorry. Is that okay? Its normal to feel this way?"

Mogare nodded. That would be the best option, taking the bath and then swimming in the lake. Hopefully it would let Rayune avoid any uncomfortable questions. keep a secret about the things he saw but.. Mogare believed the other would be able to keep everything to him. Thinking about few other things he simply enjoyed the time they could spend with each other.

 

"No", said Mogare, shaking his head. "It is the first time I have someone in here.. No one ever was allowed to wash with me. I never felt like it would be fine to let in anyone else. And what you are feeling... it isn't that strange. It just means that you are really interested in me. It is even fine to feel like punching someone who would get closer to me. That is something anyone that would want to do if seeing a person that he likes with someone else.."

"... Its childish of me to say that," he said, his hold loosening, "I mean, you have your own life. You can have anyone in the forest and some dog you meet for one night doesn't have the right to say that. Even if he really wishes he could be around all the time. Even if he really likes you a lot. Because he's not going to be around forever." His own words were making him sadder and he only realized that too late, but at least he was able to shut his mouth afterwards. Rayune leaned back away and shook his head, scrubbing his strong chest with the bar, "S-Sorry, I'm going to be quiet now."

Mogare was actually glad when Rayune's hands stopped moving. It meant was thinking of what he told him.. as well as gave him few moments to think about it himself. Then the fox shifter smiled, actually feeling glad that he wasn't the only one with those stupid thoughts inside his head. The strong arms closing around him tightly made him smile. It was something different. Mogare took few moments to enjoy the feeling and analyse it at the same time. It wasn't something he ever felt before so it only made sense to think about a little bit more.

 

Then he shook his head.

"That is not true. We probably would meet again. After all the farm isn't so far away. I'm sure there would be a time we could see each other again.. and my hunches never were wrong so far. There is no need for you to be silent. I want to hear what you are thinking about. I'm curious. You.. made me feel a bit different than with anyone else so far..", he said, smiling softly and then turning around to his the hound. "Lets just enjoy now and be hopeful for the future. Just because it seems impossible right now, that we would meet again, doesn't mean we wouldn't. So.. lets be hopeful, okay?"

His head was lowered, but having Mogare turn to him made his dark brown eyes lift up to him at least. He liked to think there was hope to see the fox again, but in all ways, it was better if he didn't. What if Keyne saw him? Or Asinl? Neither of them had a shred of remorse when it came to rare game. Actually, if Keyne had tagged along with him this night, things would have been a lot worse, he knew that much. "I... I mean... Okay? But I'm worried. You are close by. I don't want you getting hurt," he shook his head, "Knowing that you're out here, it kinda makes me hope you don't get so close to the farm... If I'm ever able to wander on my own again, it would be safer for me to come out here wouldn't it? I don't want you risking your life just to do something silly like meet me."

 

So many worries in the gentle giant, he felt like he was sounding like he didn't want them meeting when he really wished things were more in their favor. With a low whine from his throat, he turned his head to the side, his perfect, strong jaw being shown to the fox rather than his not-so confident expression, "No... I'll try my best to be hopeful. I do want to be able to see you again. You're my first actual friend in a very long time, I don't want to get lost away from you too." Taken off the streets on that one day, he wasn't exactly able to say goodbye to the people he'd occasionally talk to and The creatures in the forest were his play buddies. From the moonlight fairies to the badger over a small creek, they weren't actual friends he could talk to and connect with in the same way as he did with Mogare. And unlike the others, he liked Mogare. They easily got along, the fox was nice to him, he was fun and he was liked in return. How could he not want to keep this friendship for as long as possible?

Mogare shook his head when he heard the other was worried that he was living so close to the farm. The truth was that the fox was one of the few that dared to life so close. There were two or three people he knew of that were even closer... but they were the ones saying in different places every night. What was said next made Mogare think 'awwww' inside his head and that wasn't something he thought often. Getting on his knees he turned around and wrapped his arms around the hound's strong neck. He pulled away as much as he could with the fox's hand in his hair, his face extremely red, "N-Never mind."

He was a bit surprised when pulled closer but Rayune but far from complaining. Mogare barely heard splashing sounds, too overwhelmed by the kiss they were sharing. Up to time they broke the kiss the fox shifter was breathing quicker than normally, his heart still beating strongly in his lean chest. It was increasingly harder for him to speak and in the end, he just couldn't. That said he blushed a bit and moved his head a bit lower to playfully nibble on one of the hands still covering Rayune's face. Smiling softly he kissed it, looking into the brown eyes once again, wanting to see if the other was able to calm down a little bit.

Mogare's hopes of calming down by letting his hair, in fact did work a lot more this time, especially hearing what he had to say. He was shy not only because, obviously, this was new to him and he was practically a puppy in the body of a big, strong hound, but asking for something so new to him simply made him feel like he shouldn't. As a hound, he was far more comfortable with letting someone else do what they wanted, following orders especially, and it was hard to ask for anything from someone he looked at highly. Which could be anyone actually.

 

 

His eye looked down when Mr. Fox said he had a similar reaction as he did, then closed his eye when he felt the nibble, smiling at that and smiling more at the kiss. Rayune took a moment, but his hands lowered off his face, his face was still red as all hell though. Mogare did like to be kissed and bitten, he remembered that when they were in bed, working out like the animals that they were.
