So much nostalgia.. I'm thinking.. Will they stay like that if there is no Ban thing or fame didn't hit them so hard? [emoji29] [emoji29] [emoji29]

 

The fame is so bittersweet. On one hand we really want them to succeed and become famous(especially ZhouZhou since entertainment has been his dream since young).

 

But seeing how much they changed since the filming, it's hard not to wonder how they were be like if they film is only a small success without the national attention, without the ban and without million of people observing their literal EVERY move.

 

Even if they film season 2, I think it will be hard to reproduce the causal closeness they had in season 1 BTS because now they have to be careful to appear "straight", be careful not to anger any fans(even if they somehow have an actual argument) or maybe they even will now cater to their audience with "love" and "skinship" because pressure from their companies.

Yeah, the fame does introduce many good and bad things to both of them. So far, despite the ugly circumstances (rumours, backstabbing friend, etc) they still maintain their charming naivety and honesty, and if snippets from various photo shots are true, they are still warm to each other. These are remarkable. I am hoping they can keep these, as these are treasure. Especially their bond to each other.

 

Without fame, well, maybe they won't change much personality-wise but they would be more free; just like before fan meeting. They could joke with each other in public, they could hang out, they could just enjoy their life. More freedom, less opportunities.

 

We would get the DVD, fan meeting, Zhouzhou's album but not the daily dose of YuZhou goodies provided by Men's UNO, Esquire etc. Maybe we will hear about them once in several months, just like about any other BL-related/medium level actors?

Yes... As I thought, they don't have one for now. But they're aware there are more and more overseas fans so I'm sure in the future they will make arrangements for international fans to send them gifts.

I was thinking the same as you at some point. And I was also wondering how would they behave towards each other if they ever film S2 because when they filmed S1 it was an entirely different context and also, because of their different activities now they may have ended up distancing themselves from each other. Well, you know life is like that, people are friends and then each person starts to live his own life and they end up distancing themselves from each other...

 

But what I think is that actually they didn't change much since the filming. At least, I don't think they're more distant from each other than they were before, but the real difference is that they just don't show it openly anymore like before.

Actually, I'm sure going through this kind of experience together (big success and fame with all the things that involve) just reinforced their bond. Not everyone can experience that: you meet someone, work with him for months, live with him, become friends, see your project becoming an unexpectedly big national (and overseas) success and you don't even have time to realize what happened that you've already become a star which is being stalked everywhere. And not to mention that they're young too and are sometimes feeling overwhelmed so they surely feel the need to confide in someone at times. Since obviously there are not many people who can understand this kind of experience around them I'm sure they rely on each other and share with each other a lot. Zhouzhou said Johnny was the sensible type so obviously they share their thoughts. And also, didn't Johnny said at the red carpet interview (at the french event) that when they the have chance to be in the same city they hang out together?

Seems to me like they're still keeping a good relationship despite the fact they're having so many activities and can't meet often.

 

So I think if they ever film season 2 together we will be able to feel their closeness even more than before.

Yes, now they must be careful about their image but them being close on filming set could always be interpretated as just two actors who worked together before and who are getting along well and doing their job conscientiously.

Actually, I think people may accept their closeness more easily on set than when they're not filming because filming gives them an excuse.

 

I think if Johnny decides not to film season2 he would have been somehow forced to do so. He enjoyed filming this series too much (watch the bts and see how the guy was giggling all the time... and his weibo saying "I don't want it to end"). He said in the Esquire interview he wasn't expecting anything by acting in this series at first and said he only did it because at first he wanted to make more money and thought it was an interesting experience since he never studied acting. But now everyone can see how much efforts and heart he put into it and how much he enjoyed it (to the point of crying at the fanmeeting when he realized it was ending) so it'd make no sense if he didn't want to film season2.

And Zhouzhou also said that he definitely wants to work with Johnny again if they have the chance.

So we can only hope their management team and their many contracts will not tie them down too much....

 

And by the way, I thought Johnny said he didn't sign with any company for now??? I'm sure he doesn't like the idea of being tied down more than he's already is now...

I miss seeing them like this... and I often watch the bts too. Bring me many memories from 3 months ago when I totally went crazy the first minute I saw them together in there xD (yep, unlike many other people I fell in love with their amazing chemistry at first sight)

Exactly!! And yes there are always male fans shouting "Zhouzhou I love you!" in fancams! xD.

I totally agree with what you said about Johnny appearing alpha and Zhouzhou humble.

But I think Zhouzhou has just this ability to attract people. Some people are just like that and you can't really explain why. Maybe because he seems always so cheerful and friendly and people find him more approachable. This guy puts me in a good mood everytime I see him and I can't even explain why! :_red_fox 4

And yeah people, and girls especially, like this alpha and bad boy side of Johnny. But the funny thing is that I feel like Zhouzhou's actually more of a bad boy than Johnny xD. What I find the most attractive about Johnny is his adorkable side and his straightforwardness. And I like sensible people too because they put themselves into other's place and are kind by nature. And you can definitely see Johnny is someone who's really kind and thoughtful by nature.
