I got this idea kind of off a song and I will add the song if you guys actually want to hear it. Anyway, long ago when MC was still a little kid, his best friend was an older kid entering college. They spent years together and YC, in school to become a teacher, always helped MC on his homework and made sure he did his work while being able to understand things.

Several years later, YC fully graduates and starts teaching high school students. The only problem is, he was in a horrible accident before he graduated and does not remember much about his life before entering college. He had even come to forget all about MC and how he had been there crying at YC's bed side hoping YC would be alright.

Will the teacher ever learn to remember his closest friend? And now that MC is mature, will the two find that they like each other more then as just friends?

Name: Sousuke Wakabi (First name then last)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Occupation: Student

Personality: He acts out a lot, especially now because he is trying to get more attention in hopes that the teacher will eventually remember him. He is very kind though and is always willing to help others in need but tends to get into fights and lashes out fairly easily. He is a bit emotional so he hides his pain and everything by getting angry and acting like a tough guy.

History: (Kind of written in the story description more or less.)

"Finally, I'm going to be in his class." A young male was looking over his High school schedule reading and rereading the name of his teacher. He was a new teacher but this kid knew him far too well. The teen continued to stare at the page until his mom yelled up that he'd be late for the first day if he didn't hurry up. Sousuke quickly grabbed his bag and hurried down stairs to have breakfast before heading out.

He scarfed down the meal quickly and stood up looking pretty determined as he hurried out the door. "I'll be back later," He called to his parents as he rushed out the front and began making his way towards the high school. They only lived a few blocks away so it was easy enough to get there by walking, plus there wasn't a bus anyway so it didn't matter. Sousuke was sort of early to school but didn't even care. He simply searched for and found his class where he sat right in the center of the entire room. He would have sat front row but he was putting on airs a bit and had a scowl like someone spit in his food this morning. 'Don't think you can just disappear to college after what happened and never come see me since. Even if you still don't remember me I will make sure you do before the end of the year you jerk!!' Sousuke thought to himself.

Name: Yuudai Oshiro [First, Last]

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Occupation: Teacher

Personality: Yuudai is a kind of easy going and laid back guy or at least that is what he seems like to others. He is a hardworker and would often bury himself in work or study without coming home until weeks later. He cares deeply about his family, his students, and his few friends. It's almost impossible for Yuudai to get angry but when he does, it would be due to the overwhelming amount of stress or the attempt to remember things before the accident.

History: Yuudai doesn't really remember much what happened before the accident. His parents filled out some of the important details that they were his parents, he was their only son, he wanted to be a teacher, and that he was going to go to college. He also had some stray memories but they were fuzzy. It was always with someone he felt strongly about but he couldn't put his tongue on it. Well whoever it was, he was sure they would meet again as long as he felt this powerful for them.

Yuudai was almost so excited about his first day of school that he barely slept. Just barely! He only had about four hours, eleven minutes, and roughly three seconds of sleep. It was less than his normal six hour sleep routine and hardly a good example for his new students. In fact, looking like a complete mess on the first day was something he didn't want to do. It would make him look unreliable and a complete moron at that.

He groggily got out of bed and trudged his way into the bathroom, rubbing his eyes. When he entered the bathroom, he realized that the bathroom was cold and it caused him to shiver in response. He noted to himself to buy a rug to somehow warm his feet. A little warmth and comfort to help him as he did his manly business. With that thought pinned in his mind, he continued down onto his manly business...

Yuudai arrived at the school forty minutes later after cleaning himself up and getting himself breakfast. He held his bento in hand while the messenger bag he had slung on his shoulder held all of his teaching materials. Today was going to be a good day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and he was there at the school earlier than most of the students. He smiled happily at the sight. His first day of school and everything seemed to be going jussssst right... That is until he reached his homeroom.

From the moment he had entered the room, his eyes laid smack down on a familiar blonde student. This student wasn't some child he knew from the very distant past but someone he knew fairly fresh from when he 'woke' up. Why was this kid here? Was he a student or some stalker obsessed with him? Yuudai liked the idea that he was a student more than he did like thinking that he was a stalker. The student was probably too young for him anyways.

'Finally', he thought, eyes glaring harshly towards the teacher the moment he stepped in the room. When his old friend looked, they locked eyes for a moment. It was pretty clear that the older male didn't recognize his old neighbor and friend from so long ago and the thought of it made Sousuke frown a little more. 'You bastard! All this time and you still don't remember me?!' It wasn't like Sousuke was any help either at the hospital.

When Yuudai had finally woken up, the teen's face was swollen from all the crying and worrying but the moment the words "Who are you?" Reached his ears, the tears stopped and panic soon followed. Even after trying to give his name with little sound coming out of his shaking voice, the older male still didn't seem to remember. What was no help was Sousuke didn't even explain how they'd met and just got angry and stormed out. That was the last they'd seen of each other, until now.

"What's wrong Sensei?! Memory failing on you or do you realize the bell just rang?!" Sousuke turned his nose up irritably clearly catching everyone's attention. Good. He still had a horrible scowl on his face and that cold glare. The teen crossed his arms over his chest and huffed quietly.

Yuudai kept his face blank as he felt a stab to the heart. This one particular student was going to be a problem. A problem he didn't want. He was going to be a handful, most likely disrupt his classes, or maybe continuously embarrass him in front of the class. It would be a bad start to his career. It may even be a short career if he didn't stop this and as a teacher, he had to solve it quick!

Yuudai smiled brightly at his troublesome student and set his teaching materials down. "Ah, you're right. Sorry about that." He apologized. "And I'd like to say sorry to everyone too. I had an accident a couple of years ago that caused quite of bit of memory loss." He explained as he then began walking to the blonde student. "But that doesn't mean I won't remember a face like yours." Yuudai gently poked between the naked space of the boy's eyebrows and chuckled. "You'll end up looking like an old man if you keep your face like that."

'I can't believe he admit that!! So I guess memories or no, he is still him. That really pisses me off!' Sousuke was left a bit flustered by the comment and then confused when his head was gently touched. Once the next statement came out, the blonde probably could have felt a vein pop. His anger flared up and he glared viciously with a low growl under his breath. 'Don't expect to win so easily you jerk!!'

Sousuke was left with no choice but to remain quiet for the entire lesson, however he didn't stop his glaring and didn't even look like he was doing anything productive. He refused to answer any of the questions asked and just huffed and puffed his way till the end. When the final bell did ring, Sousuke was in no rush to leave and let everyone else go on ahead before he even began to gather his things.

"I hate you, you know." He mumbled before taking his bag and slinging it over his shoulder and storming out of the room. The male was still fuming but knew it didn't matter this would stay the same unless Yuudai's memories returned.

Yuudai was then back to his lessons. He didn't know how much he would start loving his job until today. He already figured that he would love it but then he loved it even more now than expected! The students were bright eyed, they asked questions about what they didn't understand, and they all liked to socialize with Yuudai... Well at least most of them.

It was that one troublesome student again. He never got his name nor did he really understand why he was so mad at him. He understood that he unmistakably humiliated the student but then again that was no reason to hate him. It was kind of petty and yet the student's pettiness might overcome his studies. Yuudai couldn't happen to that since the kid was his responsibility at the school.

Yuudai quickly gathered his things and ran after the student. "Wait!" He called out to the student. "Hold on just a minute!"

As he was walking away as angrily as he could muster, Sousuke also stopped to give a girl back a book she had dropped moments earlier. The girl thanked him but hurried away nervously wanting to avoid the teen the best she could. That was normal though since everyone basically avoided him. When he heard the teacher calling it put him back in his foul mood and he glared back at the other.

"What the hell do you want?" He was very curt and straight to the point. If he was given any more "I don't know you but I know I'm your authority" crap, Sousuke might just snap. "You can't keep me here without a good reason so what is it?"

Yuudai saw the surprising act and was in awe. Maybe this student wasn't so bad after all. He was unexpectedly kind and not as mean as he figured he would be. He gave a light smile and opened his mouth to compliment the student's good nature but was interrupted by his sharp words. It was like the student didn't even want to be acknowledged as a good person.

The teacher quickly shut his mouth and cleared his throat. He shouldn't let his guard around him. It would only hurt his poor little heart... Even if he barely knew his student. "You're right. I can't keep you here without a good reason but I want to know why you hate me so much." He explained crossing his arms. "I don't even know your name but you're treating me like this. It's weird."

"You dumbass, it's because you don't know my name that I hate you. I spent half a summer worrying over you only to have you ask who I was. Do you have any idea how painful that was for me? No, you don't because you don't remember anything but your perfect little university life." With that, Sousuke turned on his heels and continued on his way to the door. He really didn't want to see Yuudai's face for even a second more. Even if the teacher called out to him, Sousuke never responded and just moved on quietly.

He returned home and went straight to his room. His mom didn't even bother pressuring him about how his day went knowing how it was just by one look at her son's face. He tossed his bag to the side and flopped onto the bed where he tried to calm down. When dinner came, Sousuke headed down and sat at the table finally feeling a bit better.

Yuudai was baffled. He had no idea what he was talking about. This student? This particular one was worrying about him for half of a summer? What? He didn't understand what was going on but he knew that this student knew him before and cared about him deeply. He didn't know how though. He struggled to even remember why. The teacher cursed under his breath and ended up going back home, rattling his brain for answers.

When he arrived home, he loosened his tie and planted his bag on the table. First day of school was a little more dramatic than he wanted it to be. He seemed to have forgotten someone very important and they hated him for not remembering. Was it his fault that he got into the accident? No. It wasn't and it wasn't his fault that he lost almost an entire lifetime of memories. He couldn't control what he could lose or even what he could keep. All he had was crumbles of memories that didn't even make sense to him. They were all with someone with a face that was blurred and no matter how hard he tried to clear it, it didn't work. He cursed out in frustration and sat down at the table with a thunk.

"I can't focus on this." He disciplined his self. "My job comes first. I'll figure out myself later." And with that he spent the rest of his night planning his next lesson plans for the week.

While at dinner, Sousukes mom explained that it wasn't Yuudai's fault that he was in that accident and everything and while the troubled teen knew that, it still hurt to not be remembered. They just about grew up together.... YuuDai was like his big brother and yet, he wasn't even remembered. Sousuke thanked his parents for the meal and returned to his room. Of course it wasn't right to be so mean like that but this short tempered kid wasn't going to back down.

The following day, he got in the room just barely on time and walked over to his desk and sat down. He gave a vicious glare to anyone who tried to talk to them and had them moving away scared. This battle was far from over and his eyes locked on the teacher as soon as he saw him.

  • 2 weeks later...

Yuudai came into the classroom with his teaching materials and wasn't surprised to see his angry dog student. He still had an angry face and Yuudai did not at all like it. How was he to deal with him? He couldn't ignore the student because he was after all his responsibility. Oh well. He'd just teach like normal.

"Settle down. Let's get class started." He announced to the class and watched as they all settled down in their seats. "Roll call."

Sousuke loudly clicked his tongue in detest as he placed his head on his hand and elbow on he desk, turning to look out the window. Why couldn't this man just remember him and how much they liked being together. About all those times Yuudai had helped Sousuke with his work to make sure he wouldn't fall behind in any of his classes. It hurt so much to be forgotten after so long together.

Sousuke's anger was rising and those around him were getting nervous not wanting to piss him off in case he decided to turn and punch them. He did have a reputation as a delinquent as it was so fighting wasn't exactly out of his job description.
