Plot one: (Sadistic) A fairly young, almost fully grown, merman ends up swimming into some dangerous waters. He doesn't realize it because he was fleeing from a couple sharks that have been after him for days. As this merman is swimming, his tail ends up brushing up some sand which releases a trap to latch onto the tail. The merman, MC, will try to escape but after a couple days of useless efforts, it is thought that he was going to die there. Of course the man who ordered the trap there, YC, finally comes and finds the Merman but is more thrilled then ever with his find. YC will then take MC home with him and keep him locked away in the pool with a chain attached to his tail so he can't swim far or escape. Depending on what you like, MC can either have the ability to turn human for them to do it or they could just do it.

Deep in the ocean, an almost fully grown merman was swimming alone hunting for food. He made his way around a few hills that stuck up from the grainy sand to see a small school of mackerel. He took a small breath from the gills along the side of his neck and kicked the water hard with his tail and shot after his prey. The half fish took a few different turns an twists but grabbed two Mackerels in his webbed hands. Delighted, the teen swam farther to find some slightly more open space to enjoy his meal while looking out for predators himself.

Seeing a clearing, Kaisui swam towards it quickly only to hear a large pair of jaws snapping nearby. The smell of blood filled the water and the merman looked over to see two large sharks tearing apart, and finishing off a seal. They'd just finished off his meal and took notice of the fish boy. "A MERMAID!!!" One shouted and the two turned towards their next meal. Kaisui released the Mackerel and took off swimming as fast as he could, the sharks close in pursuit. Several times they almost sank their teeth into the mermaid's tail but he made fast turns and just narrowly avoided them.

His hearth was racing, blood pumping and even though he managed to lose the sharks almost five minutes before, Kaisui was still swimming as fast as he could. He only slowed when he came to a wall where the ground suddenly dropped. The mermaid swam up and to the side realizing he was getting dangerously close to land. He was still too far out for anyone to see him but he was close enough to see the large mountains that rose above the water level. He slowly swam around low to the ground so to stay a bit farther from the surface when his tail brushed up the sand and there was a large crunching noise and a deep agonizing pain in his tail. Kaisui shouted in pain and tugged and twisted trying to get free but he was locked in well.

Name: Theo Felnoir

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Height: 5'11

Weight: 132 lbs.

Personality: Theo is generally laid back but at the same time can be very haughty. He would act friendly to those he does business with and hid his true persona behind a mask. Having a sadistic personality, he is shown to be rather merciless although he does have a soft side.

History: Has been living alone in the forest ever since his parents died at some point. They had drowned in the ocean to fish and left him at the home he is currently living at. He was used to playing with traps as a child, now using those skills to ensure a stable living. His survival skills was what also helps him live.

Checking each of his traps one by one was tedious yet worth the time. Theo had placed them everywhere, cleverly hiding them from plain sight. Once he had caught something, he would either sell them to the nearby town or just cook and eat it if it was edible. It was his daily routine, one he never get tired of seeing how his traps was able to succesfully catch something each time and nothing had made him happier.

Unfortunately, today just wasn't his day. One of his traps that he had strategically position unknowingly got broken. Another had its catch stolen by some wild being also living in the forest. Most of it revealed to be unsucessful, only a few was what he could salvage. Theo cursed under his breath after finding another trap had failed its purpose. Letting out a sigh dissapointment, he returned home to empty what he had and wanted ease his mind a bit. It was not like his lifestyle is in jeopardy but if this keeps up, he would be harder for him than he can handle. His source of income was decreasing and is clearly not amused by it.

He hoped this final trap will not be as frustrating as the others. It was the closest one to his home however he usually ignores it since nothing was caught it in after his first catch. He just kept there for old memories' sake with it being one of the earliest traps that he had set up and only thought to examine it only once in a while. From afar, he could make out a large creature, making him grin to what seem to be the best one today. Approaching the creature to recognized it to be a merman by its features alone, he squated down in front of it but kept a distance for safety. He was curious as he had never seen one before but was also cautious enough not to get too close to it. "So, why are you here?" he asked with a smirk and a playful tone, both of his hands was supporting his head. While he would decide what to do with his catch once he brought them home, he was already certain what to do with this one. He would keep it as his own and knew where exactly to place it.

Kaisui struggled and tried to swim away but the trap had him locked in pretty well. He hardly realized just how close he'd gotten to the shore and was in some serious trouble. The male was trying to pry the trap open with his hands when he heard a voice from above. Looking up, the image was distorted by the surface of the water but whatever it was, it was not good. The fish became a bit smaller as he curled up trying to hide his ensnared tail. Not knowing what the predator was, was probably more dangerous.

The mermaid started to move towards the surface. He was just able to poke out the top half of his face, his dark blue hair sticking to his face, blue eyes looking up, every wave crashing over his just barely showing eyes. The pain was soon too much to take and the strain was just wearing him out more. 'A human?' The mermaid thought to himself as he let himself sink down to the sand again. He was weak from the struggling and was really hungry now but all he could do was worry about what this human would do to him.

Kaisui's father had told him hundreds of stories about humans ensnaring mermaids, hunting them until they were nearly extinct. Thankfully they haven't been hunted in several years but every mermaid was warned of them. "Humans will hunt you down, drag you from the sea, gut you alive and eat you. If you are beautiful they will kill you and hang you on their walls like trophies." These words rang out in the young merman's mind and he was only thinking about being brutally killed. The life seemed to drain right from him and he ended up just collapsing to the ground like a rock.

Seeing Kaisui started being motionless made Theo lift an eyebrow, not knowing accurately how long he had been there. He inched closer to realized that the creature had already fainted. Chuckling to himself, things was made easier for him. If the merman was out cold, there would be no unnecessary struggling. He would not plant something to be troublesome and unreachable. Pulling his sleeves, he needed to only put his hands in the water to undo the trap, elbow deep.

Handling the trap, he freed Kaisui's tail and lifted him in bridal style. Theo was surprised that he turned out lighter than he had thought. Opening the front door of his home was a bit of a challenge with his hands full however managed to do it anyway. He had a pool in the back room, quite larger than the size of a normal bathtub. The thing he needed to add the most was something so that the creature would not be able to escape at all. He also needed to make sure the water condition matches the sea so that he would not die easily. It was an easy thing to alter and the whole preparation would not take long. Placing the merman down on the floor right by the entrance, Theo assumed that he would still stay put by the time he was done. Looking at the tail, it seemed to have been rather injured. All he could do was to disinfect it to prevent it from being worse. He was not sure if human medicine also works on mermaids but it could not hurt to try. There was no way he would let the injury make the water that he had prepared become filthy.

Completing everything quickly worked up a sweat for him, not wanting his best catch of the day to get away that easily. He checked back on Kaisui to still see him unconscious by the front door. Bending down, he ended up finding himself stroking the creature's still wet hair before carrying him. Examining the injury as he walked towards the backroom, it looked better. Once he was in front of the pool, he gently put the merman into the pool as if he was freeing a fish although there was a diffrence. He was restraining him to only this place, locking his tail without waiting another moment. Thinking of selling the few things that he had caught, he left his home and headed to town. He wanted to do it in a hurry, looking forward to seeing his new plaything again.

'I have to struggle, I have to get free,' Those thoughts came to his head as the human hands breached the surface but it was no use, the mermaid's body wasn't responding to him at all and just as the human touched the trap, the teen fell unconscious. As soon as he was lifted out of the water it was clear that he was having a hard time breathing. The gills on the side of his neck opened more in hopes to get something but there was no water. Finally, the male opened his mouth and gasped for air, his gills closing up to retain their moisture. Being out of the water was fine but if his gills ever dried out then the mermaid would die.

His body responded much faster to the water seeing that as soon as his tail began entering, his mouth stopped taking in air and his gills opened a bit more until they were submerged and he could breathe the water once again. About an hour after the human had left his home to go sell his catches, Kaisui finally woke up. He groggily looked around and began moving hoping what happened was only a dream. As he started to swim around, his tail was held back and he looked to see he wasn't going anywhere. It hurt to struggle and the mermaid quickly saw why. His tail had been pretty injured from the trap earlier. The fish was scared and moved all around seeing nothing but walls. At first he'd thought he was still in the ocean but that clearly wasn't true. The walls were even higher then the water level. Kaisui soon started having a full on panic attack and grabbed the chain yanking at it just trying desperately to get free.

The town was bustling as ever, that fact never change for as long as he could remember. Almost half an hour passed when he finnaly arrived there. Theo had travelled there daily, getting used to the distance and was not quite bothered about it. The price that he could fetch with what he had caught today was reasonable but not profitable, making him dissatisfied. His charms may have helped but with what he could hand over, there was not much that he could do. People there had acknowledge him to be hardworking and hearing how they complimented him boosted his ego. Although, he hated how they would pry into his personal life, putting on a fake smile as he tried to avoid the question. Remembering that his materials for making traps are running out after receiving his profits, he brushed his fingers through his hair as he thought of what to buy. It took him some time to buy them and since one of the traps was broken, the repairs would be a bit pricey. Once there was nothing else left, he started to head out back to his home.

Theo put the things he bought on the table in the living room which was the first room to be seen after entering through the front door. Closing in to the back room, he could hear the clanking of chains from outside and could guess what was happening in there. Casually opening the door, he was just delighted to see the creature and amused at the sight of its struggle. The chain he used was long enough for the merman to swim around the pool but not get out of it and the creature should be able to reach the top edge of the wall with the water level was not that down below from it. The back room of his house was like a secondary storage but it was mostly empty. He only stored things like tools and also the pool which was his parents'. He was not sure what they used it for and never bothered to touch it. But now it was being very useful for him. "Hey!" he greeted with the same smirk he first saw him, the cheerfulness he showed was clearly sinister. "Glad you're awake," he added, placing one of his hands on the glass around the center.

Kaisui was desperately pulling at the chain but it wasn't helping and it felt like forever before the human suddenly appeared again. As if he didn't want to show his tail, the mermaid tucked his tail under him and sat on the bottom of the pool. The strange surface was almost too much to handle and he rose up again.

"Glad you're awake,"

The words sounded dark to him and the male swam a bit closer to the edge where the human was. "What are you going to do to me?" the sound of his voice was distorted by the water and muffled by the glass. He wasn't even sure why he was asking this question since he was almost certain he'd be gutted and eaten. The fear was very present in his eyes and the young fish was shaking nervously.

Theo had found it not to be too difficult to make out what words was exactly spouted out from Kaisui. Every single actions of the merman was entertaining. He paused for a moment as if he was thinking of something but did not plan anything else but to keep the creature to himself. "I'm not sure," he hummed, the grin on his face widening. "Which would you prefer then? Tonight's dinner or tommorow's?" he then teased, wanting to get an interesting reaction out of the merman. He wondered how much fun he would have with him, thinking of all the endless possibilities. The thought of it was making him more excited and walked back to the door. "So, got a name?" he then asked while he was still facing backwards. After locking the only entrance, he returned to the creature for a response.

The human confirming that he'd be eating the young mermaid, just made Kaisui freak out again. He swam backwards until he reached the other side of the pool, his tail being pulled towards the center. He sank to the bottom again sitting down and pushing himself as far back as he could with his hands. He kept his eyes on the human as he walked away. The next question sounded completely useless. Why would he want to know the name of his dinner? Kaisui refused to respond and just say ed where he was, shaking in place.

The mermaid watched the human desperately awaiting his fate. He would put up the biggest fight and would do whatever it took to try and survive. If he could get out of the water and dry off, he could grow legs and run out of here.... he didn't know which way the sea was though.... he didn't even know how to run....

How the creature responded was what Theo had expected upon seeing how he reacted to being served as his meal. He did not think a creature would be so gullible. Never had he imagine he would eat him eventhough he was part fish. There were rumors that they are edible but he did not really feel the desire to feed on him. He sees the merman much more beautiful than delicious, like a jewel he would treaure. "Was that too much?" he questioned as he crossed his arms, not exactly aiming it towards Kaisui but rather to himself.

"Come on. If you tell me your name, we can be best of friends." He was acting like the townsmen he detests so much with their prying, attempting to squeeze a name from the merman. Theo was not the best in giving names to anything there is. He would not want to ended up calling the creature 'Fishy', disgusting himself at such a thought. Calling the merman would prove to be difficult to him if he did not even know how to even refer him by.

He was still very hesitant and didn't want a human as a friend, especially not one that chained him up. Still, he might be able to get out of here if he struck a deal. "If I tell you my name will you not eat me?" Hopefully this would help him get some time to get free. But how long would it take him to even get this chain off.

Kaisui waited for a response hoping the man would agree. Not knowing much about humans was a huge disadvantages and only hoped this guy knew just as little about the mermaid and a fish could trade info for a little more freedom until he could escape.

Still not hearing the answer he wanted was making Theo grow impatient but tried to remain his expression and tone. "Sure, sure. That's what friends won't do, right!" he exclaimed, wanting to hurry this painful process. Of course he would not eat the creature however that does not mean he will not do anything else to him.

Now Theo was thinking what kind of things to do with the creature at the moment since he had some spare time. He was not going to watch him swim all day, wanting to interact with the merman more. But there was the fact that he needed to set up his traps before sunset. He decided to put it aside for a while, priortizing to play with his new pet for now.

"Kaisui. My name is Kaisui...." it was nice to know he wouldn't be eaten but this human didn't seem to have very much patients and was growing irritable. This wasn't good. The mermaid pushed himself up a bit and swam to the surface where he popped his head out and looked down at the human from the edge of the pool. He kept his neck down still in the water so he could still breathe normally. His crystal blue eyes were sad and still pretty scared.

"How am I suppose to eat? There aren't any fish in here..." He figured he'd have to ask eventually so let's just hope the human was in a good enough mood to really want to learn more about a mermaid's appetite. It was a chance he had to take.

"Good, good. Then you can call me Theo," he nodded approvingly and his dark grin returned, glad that Kaisui had finally comply. The name sounded foreign to him but not that surprising, knowing his origin. He eyed the chain as the creature moved to the surface, confirming it was still intact. Confident in his skills, he was sure that it would be impossible for the merman to escape. Although, with it rusting, that might come out as a problem. He estimated that he may at least needs to change them once a month but how was he going prevent the creature from running away while doing it.

Theo tilted his head a bit upwards to meet the Kaisui's eyes. "Fish, huh. Are you hungry now?" He was never curious about mermaids before thus know next to nothing about them except baseless rumors. There are some fishes left that he had caught, kept in a cooler in the kitchen. He thought he could give him some, not caring much about the loss.

Kaisui was quite nervous about this human. He was clearly a dark person and his grin only confirmed that. "Y-Ya," he stammered. "I missed my meal a couple days ago and haven't been able to get anything else since I've been locked up...." It was much easier to hear his voice now that his mouth wasn't under water and he had a very smooth voice, gentle on the ear. "I mostly eat mackerel..." He could eat other fish but he prefers mackerel over anything else unless it was a salmon from up north. Those were hard to get and were amazing. He'd been up north once and had one.

While Kaisui was waiting for the human to go and get the fish, he was repeating the strange name in his head over and over. "Theo... Theo... I guess humans really do have weird ways of referring to themselves,' he thought to himself. The mermaid gave another yank at the chain but stopped instantly with the chain digging into his injury. This felt hopeless. How was he suppose to break free from this thing?

Hearing Kaisui's voice clearly enchanted Theo and stayed quiet the whole time when he was speaking. "I see. Then, a moment please." He took note of the creature's preference, exiting the room to look for it. The cooler was full of food items that he wanted to keep fresh. He was able to find a mackerel, the last one and thought about fishing for more the next day. Putting it on a plate matching its size, there was no need to cook it and left it raw, guessing that is how the mermaids like them.

"Thanks for waiting and lucky for you, a mackerel." Theo reentered the room after several minutes passed with the plate in hand and showing it to the merman. He then started walking to however stopped in his tracks in the middle. "But now that I think about it..." An idea abruptly came into his mind, a great one, at least for him. He was certain that the merman would be desperate. "I don't mind feeding you this but in exchange, do something to satisfy me," he requested, having high expectations what Kaisui would think of. "I mean, I can't just give this fish away just like that,"

"What? Why not? You were just about to do it a minute ago!!" Kaisui had already reached one of his hands out to take the fish but when Theo stopped a distance away, the half fish looked on desperately. He was starving. For granted if he'd only held onto the mackerel instead of letting it go when the sharks chased him, he'd not be in such a bad predicament now but it wasn't as if he could tell what was going to happen to him in the first place.

"There's nothing I can do for you... Only certain types of female mermaids can sing but they also eat humans... I don't have anything to give you either...." What could he possibly say to get that mackerel. Damn it looked good... Kaisui shook his head and dove back under water where he got level with Theo and watched him through the glass.

In any state, Kaisui's voice was still music to his ears. Seeing his desperation causes Theo to want to push the creature even further to the edge, wishing to see him fall. "Then you better think of something quick. I don't want to force you to do something that you can't, so you should choose." When the merman sank back into the water, it made him quite dissapointed with remembering how distorted the voice will turn out when he had spoke.

"This fish stayed fresh since it was in a cooler. It won't be long for it to rot and I don't like it to be in my house anymore. This is my last one and it takes a while for me to go fish again," he added, just to clarify that Kaisui had only a limited time. Theo was not sure that the creature was going to obey with what he had just said, hoping that will convice him. "Or would you prefer rotten fish even more?" he chuckled, finding it fun to tease the merman.

He nervously flipped the chain over his tail again and again trying to figure out what he could do to entertain this human. "Did you know I can hold my breath for 10 minutes?" It wasn't a very useful talent since he could breathe in and out of water but it was something unique to him. "I can also out swim even some of the fastest sharks out there!!!" He kept his eyes on the mackerel, his stomach growling, desperate for the meal. It was so close and yet so far....

He tried to think of something else but nothing was coming to mind. Then he swam closer to the glass to show his webbed hands. "Not all mermaids have webbed fingers!!"

Theo got bored of hearing those facts along with the voice he did not favor, wearing a neutral expression all the while. He thought to only return the clearness of Kaisui's voice. Walking to the shelf, he put down the plate and search for a pair of silver cuffs with a thin chain attached. He grabbed the steps and moved it to the pool so that he could easily bring the creature out of it.

"Well, points for trying. Come on out of the water so you could eat. Give me your hands." he smiled, waiting the creature to obey him with the cuffs in hand. He remembered to lock the door after entering to get the fish as a precaution. There are a few windows up high but it was to small for anyone to fit.

"You could just throw the fish in here," he said as he was moving towards the surface. The fish poked his head out of the water and reached up his hands. The human skin was quite slippery and it was hard to get the cuffs on him but once they were on, he grabbed the ledge and pulled his tail as close as he could. It wasn't very close at all but it was all he could do. Once his tail was free, Kaisui pulled himself as far out of the water as he could, grabbing at Theo for support.

As he leaned over the edge of the pool, water poured off him and his hair creating a puddle but that wasn't much until he slapped his tail on the water to force himself out of the pool entirely. He made a huge splash then and landed on the top of the steps. It was hard enough to move and without his hands damn near impossible.

Theo chuckled at the suggestion, knowing that would be easier. "That's true but this will be much more fun." He secure the cuffs on before grabbing the key to unlock Kaisui's tail in his pocket. "Good job," he praised, patting the creature's head as the other hand had a firm grasp on the thin chain connected to the cuffs.

Theo lead the other to a pole instead of the plate, just a few feet away. He made the merman sit down in front of it, binding the cuffs to the pole with Kaisui's hands over his head. Once he was sure the creature would not be able to move from there, he went over to take the plate and kneeled right beside him. "Open up," he merrily asked but that was more of an order, having ripped a piece of the fish to feed the merman by his own hands.

Kaisui reached up and grabbed onto Theo as he was then dragged along the floor. The mermaid couldn't yet change into human form and didn't quite want to in front of the male. He'd save it for his escape as to not give away that he could and so Theo might give up on the cuffs and never think about it. Once sittuated, Kaisui looked up at his hands wondering why he was being chained up then back at the who'd retrieved the mackerel to hand feed to the mermaid.

"Why are you doing this? I could feed myself." His sweet voice was probably the only thing that stopped Theo from stuffing it right in his mouth. Still, it was best not to get on his bad side. Plus, he had to get back into the water before he dried out. Kaisui opened his mouth and took the fish eating the small piece given to him. "Thank you..."

"You're welcome," he leaned in to whisper into the creature's ear and could not help but give him a kiss on the cheek. How adorable, he thought to himself. Theo was glad that Kaisui was complying with him. He was not sure whether the merman had given up on escaping or that he was waiting for a chance. He was used to a prey's tactics, being a hunter himself.

Theo fed the merman until there were only bones left, making sure he was giving him only flesh and not a single of the bones was mixed in. He put the plate aside and removed the cuffs from the pole and lead Kaisui back to the pool, up the steps. He secure the tail chain back that he had hunged up on the top edge of the pool and removed the cuffs. Picking the creature up which seemed to be easy, he dumped him into the pool. He put the steps back at the corner of the room and grabbed the plate then placed the cuffs randomly on the shelf.

"I'll come again tonight so be good." He looked back with a grin before exiting the room. He had to prepare his traps, adjusting them, repairing them and such. Additionally, he was checking the net for large holes to use for cathing fishes. He then went out to set them up, barely being able to finish them by dusk with him spending more of his time with Kaisui.

The mermaid was happy to be back in the water but even happier when Theo left. The half fish quickly scanned the chain and tried to unlatch it. He didn't what he could until he managed to open it wide enough to slip his tail out. Kaisui cheered and swam towards the surface and launched himself out of the water. He crash landed on the ground and fumbled around a bit and in pain and tried to go and quickly get dry. He moved around until he found a blanket. Kaisui sealed his gills and dried his neck, then his hair and then the rest of his body where he was finally able to turn human. His legs were a bit scaley and his toes nails looked like claws.

The mermaid paused to admire his new legs before he finally forced himself up. Of course he had no idea how to use these things and just fell over again and again. It took far too long just to get to the front door and it was almost pointless to leave at this point. Either way, the mermaid was desperate and wobbled out of the house and into the grass. He could just tell where the sea was and slowly started walking towards it.
