Kaisui knew it was best to stay in this form but he had to do something to patch up what was going on between the two. After all, it didn't seem like the mermaid was getting out of here any time soon. He swam towards the surface and placed the mackerel on the top step before pulling himself out of the water and onto the stairs. Kaisui didn't really want Theo to see the mackerel hadn't been eaten but there was no choice now, it wasn't like he could just stuff the whole thing in his mouth or something. The mermaid reached down to take a towel and carefully dried himself off. He was so use to switching from gills to lungs now like it was second nature or something. Even his walking had greatly improved. The mermaid got up and walked down the stairs carefully before stepping closer to Theo and waiting for his instructions. Harifah Posted March 24, 2016 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Theo was very pleased to hear Kaisui accepting his suggestion but by the way he said it, it seemed like he was not really into it. He was sure his mind would change once they had gone outside. "You haven't eat? Aren't you hungry?" he asked after seeing the mackerel on the steps once the merman approched him, taking it into his hands. The creature never skipped his meals before so it was extremely worrying what state he was turning into. The image of him drying out came to his mind, making him shiver. He did not want the merman to suffer something like that again even if it was the lack of food. Was it all because of that nightmare he had? Although, he did not want to dwell too long on the topic of his breakfast since lunch was nearing. "Do you want to wear clothes," he asked with a rather uneasy manner. The thought of Kaisui walking with him nude came out weird in his head but he could tolerate it if the aspect of clothing reminded him the time he went to town. Kaisui fell into a kind of awkward silence but Theo then brought up about wearing clothes. "I'll wear them. They feel weird and restricting but also comfortable at the same time. I just don't want to wear those things that go on your feet..." They were only going to walk around the woods so it would be alright to wear clothes but shoes were a big no. Especially with what happened last time when Kaisui first put them on and walked like a crazy idiot. This might come out to be a good time for the mermaid to explain the nightmares he's been having or at least the one he had most recently. Maybe the thought of the dream coming or being true would shock Theo enough for him to freeze up and hopefully Kaisui could run to the ocean again and get away from here and return home.... wishful thinking probably. Harifah Posted March 24, 2016 Share Posted March 24, 2016 "I see," Theo chuckled when Kaisui only refused to wear shoes after he inquired about wearing clothing, remembering how he struggled in them. Leading the merman to his bedroom, he gave the creature a different set of clothes than that day and also helped him in putting it on. Although, he could not help himself in teasing the other for a bit during the process, nibbling his ear or licking his neck just to enjoy the reactions that he missed to see. After the merman was fully clothed, he brought him to the front door where he wore his shoes first before letting the other step outside. He took the creature's hand into his, grasping it firmly as he pulled him closer. "The rule still applies. Since we are in the forest, it should be easy to follow." He leaned in, closer to the other's ear to whisper at him while he grinned. "But I guess you would like to break it anyways." After he pulled back, he started walking in a slow pace without having any destination in mind. He knew the inside and out of the forest so he was not too worried on getting lost. WolfDog12 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Share Posted March 29, 2016 The mermaid did jump slightly at being teased when Theo was putting the clothes on him but he tried to stay focused. Still, he really wasn't in the mood for these kinds of games to his reactions were still pretty weak. Kaisui was pretty determined in escaping though that was probably harder to do wearing clothes. Still, it might make it hard for Theo to believe he can actually get away. He thought about how this human had taken care of him for the week or so that he'd been here and even though he tormented the half fish, he did get him the clown fish and let him try wearing these "clothes" things. The mermaid was quickly staring to have second thoughts on leaving. He had to become more determined or he would hesitate too long and end up drying out before making it to the ocean. As they walked, Kaisui started to walk just behind Theo making himself sort of known that he was still very close by. Still, the farther they went, the more distance Kaisui put between them until there was almost 5 feet. Before Theo could look back and determine the distance himself, the mermaid turned towards the ocean and sprinted full force. He was still a fish out of water so he was sloppy when running. He had powerful legs but when you don't know how to use them, it is completely useless. Still, he ran and ran as hard as he could towards the ocean.
