Kaisui jumped and woke instantly to the sound and turned to look at the mess that was Theo. He pushed himself up and swam over towards the wall again. "Are you ok?" He asked gently realizing he was still under water. The mermaid swam up and pulled himself onto the edge to watch the human fumble about to try and fix everything. "I didn't know how long you'd be gone and was bored," he admitted. He looked at how bad the mess was and was sad to see the bucket being taken. Was he not allowed any more fresh water? That sucks. "Theo, before you go. I wanted to ask you something. How do humans get clean because I know land animals don't like using the ocean so do they just use rivers or something?"

"We normally take showers or baths. The room from before, that's where I shower." His bathroom only consists of a sink, a toilet and a shower, nothing else except soaps and shampoos. He wondered why Kaisui wanted to ask him such a thing before he could exit the room since he was still going to stay there after refilling the bucket. The floorboards were soaking the water, quickly putting a towel on it to prevent it from being damaged and pressing the towel to have it absorbed the water instead. "I'll be back so don't go back to sleep," Theo tried making it sound nice but it came out more demanding before making his way out.

 

He soon reentered the room, the bucket filled almost to the brim. Placing it on the steps and making room for him to also sit on it, he climbed up the steps and took a seat in a position he was in before. "You were hard before weren't you? How did you manage to handle that?" He was seriously curious of it after being reminded of it when the creature asked how humans got clean.

The mermaid thought about it and wondered what a shower was. When Theo soon mentioned that it was something that was in that room that nearly killed him, he seemed nervous. 'I'll make sure I never end up there again! That was just terrible.... Still if it has freshwater then I do still want to try one of these "showers" he spoke of.' Kaisui was thinking when Theo had finished cleaning up the water and left with the bucket.

 

Kaisui did as he was told and waited on the edge of the pool waiting for Theo to return. When he finally did he inquired about the mermaid's hard on. "That kind of just retreated and calmed down while I was busy trying to heal myself up. My stomach still hurts quite a bit from it but that will go away soon enough." he quickly explained so Theo wouldn't get any strange ideas.

Theo tilted his head a bit, chuckling at the thought. "So you aren't horny anymore. That's a shame." He did not expect the merman could easily make it go away just like that. Not that he wanted to do anything like that to the creature at the moment. His hand wandered off on top of the creature's hair, gently brushing it through his fingers before pulling it back. "You are truly beautiful, Kaisui," he smiled, his mind now completely filled with thoughts of the merman. "With you always asking about me doing it to you, do you prefer females more? Do you have a partner before?" he questioned, wanting to know why the other would frequently bring up the topic.

Kaisui backed off a little more as Theo thought it was a shame that he'd totally forgotten about being horny. He then looked down still not liking being called beautiful. He may no longer look like a girl but a lot of the mermaids still made fun of him. "It's not that I prefer females... well I do... I guess... but... Mermaids don't do that kind of stuff unless it is to mate. Once we find the one we want to spend our lives with, then we do it to have children and once we're done having kids we lose the desire to mate." He still felt awkward about the whole situation and it wasn't like he wanted to keep asking but he did because it was the only way to get answers and that he didn't want to be mated with for the fun of it. Though he was playing the female, not that that made it any better.

Theo found it to be cute when Kaisui was being cautious of him. After the creature finished talking, he jumped off the steps instead of walking down on it properly. "Well, I need to sleep early. Good night, Kaisui," he spoke softly, waving a little at the merman as he closed the door behind him. It was due to his fever that he needed to got to bed and give himself a good rest. But he remembered that there was still a plate of mackerel in the bathroom and went ahead to get it, bringing it to the kitchen. It did not look spoiled yet but he cut it up to medium-sized pieces to make sure. He throw away what a few of them seemed to be bad in colour and texture and kept the rest inside a suitable container which he then put it in a cooler. The cuffs and metal rod was kept on his work table of traps that was in the living room. He let himself fall onto his bed, immediately feeling how heavy his body was when he rested his head on the pillow. It was not hard to sleep after he had closed his eyes.

Kaisui watched Theo suddenly jump from the stairs and walk away. The mermaid knew Theo was sick and felt a little bad about being the cause of it. He sighed heavily and dove back under the water and got comfy. Kaisui wasn't too tired at the moment but it didn't seem like Theo would return until the next day. The male sighed again before laying down completely. He closed his eyes but it still took an hour for him to finally fall asleep.

 

Kaisui woke surprisingly early the next morning before the sun even rose. The mermaid was so bored. There was nothing to hunt, no one to talk to, no room to really swim around the way he wanted to. Kaisui continued to just lay on the bottom of the pool lifting and dropping the end of his tail continuously.

Theo felt a little better but that did not help much with his body still feeling heavy. He drank a few glasses of water before taking the container with the pieces of mackerel and head to the back room in order to feed Kaisui. He also grabbed a bucket with a different color than the one he used for giving fresh water to the creature. While the bucket he was bringing to the back room was gray, the bucket that was already there was red in color. "Good morning," he greeted nonchalantly, still being burdened with his fever. "This is for throwing away the bones," he explained, putting the bucket at the side of the steps. There was nothing else he could use so that was the only thing he could think of. He then moved the bucket that has fresh water in it, placing it beside the gray bucket. "I can't drop these into the water today, they could break easily. So could you come and take this?" he casually requested as he climbed up the steps but stopped himself after his feet almost reached the top. "Ah right, you won't want that." he laughed nervously, remembering how he had tricked the creature the day before.

Kaisui got up when the door opened and he placed his hands on the glass as he watched Theo with the buckets. He talked about having to go up and grab the container and the mermaid swam up without a problem to go take it. He knew the only reason he was pulled out so easily was because he wasn't chained down. This was the one good thing about the chain. Theo wouldn't be able to lift the mermaid high enough to get him out of the water because the chain didn't reach far enough and it would be too hard to unlatch it and still get him out. "I don't mind taking it." Kaisui said as his head poked out the water and he reached one hand up to take the container.

Theo placed the container on top of the other's hand after he took another step. "Here you go," he exclaimed, gently pressing it on top the creature's palm. He then bended down towards the merman so his voice will reach the creature's ear as he whispered. "With you being this close, I feel like doing it today," he smirked, looking at his expression and wanting to see how he will react. He was used to Kaisui distancing himself from him that it felt nice when the other got near him. Quickly turning around then removing himself from the steps, he placed only the red bucket on top of the steps. "I already removed the bones so enjoy," he spoke cheerfully soon after as he stopped in front of the door although was still facing the pool.

As soon as Theo whispered into his ear, Kaisui dropped himself under the water nervously. The human probably had some way of getting the mermaid out if he really wanted to. Kaisui returned to the bottom of the tank with the messed up fish bits. They were starting to fall apart in the water so he had to gently but quickly eat them. As he ate, the mermaid still watched the human's every move as he placed the bucket nearby again and then walked to the door. It only took a moment for Kaisui to finish the meal and swam back up and placed it on the top of the stairs. If Kaisui was being honest, he probably could still use a release from last time with what happened and that his stomach still seemed to be bothering him from that. Still, he wasn't about to admit that to Theo.

Theo left the room once he saw Kaisui started eating, still having so much things to do. He needed to go to town early morning this time since he didn't the day before. There was too much to carry if he were to go there later and needing to take two trips there would not change.

 

By lunch, he managed to return home and brought along Kaisui's food when visiting him. It has become a habit for him to feed the creature before eating his own meal first. He did not mind doing, wanting to take care of the merman properly and never wish to let it die. He put the container aside so he had somewhere to sit on a dropped the fish in.

Kaisui was so bored being left alone. There was absolutely no roaming room in this tank and he was stuck just laying around mostly. When Theo returned for lunch, the mermaid was on his back lifting and dropping his tail and watching the chain react. He heard the door open again and turned around to watch. He was about to go up and grab the fish but it was dropped in and he didn't even bother grabbing it in his hands because it was already dead. Kaisui grabbed the mackerel up in his mouth and made himself comfortable to start eating.

 

"I'm so bored in here... Do you think I could go with you next time you go out? I know you go out for long periods of time and it isn't good for me to be wandering on land but there is nothing to do in this place."

Theo stared at the creature intently, trying to see if the other had hidden intentions of asking to follow the next time he goes out. He was afraid that he would be careless and made a mistake, allowing the merman to escape if he were to listen to him. Also feeling sorry for Kaisui that he had always left him locked up here alone, he did not want to straight out reject the merman.

 

"It's still going to be boring for you. You're stuck with me and I think there isn't really anything that you could help with since I have been doing it alone ever since," he stated, trying to persuade the creature out of it. It's not like Theo did not want his company while he was out but the thought of Kaisui going away scares him. He knew the merman wanted to be free and go back to his family but he did not want that. After finding the creature, he already claimed the creature as his own and was not going to simply let it go.

"Alright, I'll stay here then but can't you toss something in here? Something that moves preferably? There must be something you can give me to play with or chase. Right?" At least Kaisui had given up on the idea of going with him. He just wanted something entertaining and if Theo thought going to town would be boring, not to mention dangerous, then he would prefer to stay in the tank where he wouldn't dry out. The had to be something Theo could give him to occupy his time. Anything would do even so much as a rubber duck.

Theo was glad when Kaisui changed his mind, not needing to worry about that anymore. He pondered for a moment before answering, nothing really comes to mind that would entertain Kaisui in the pool. "No, I don't think so." He could buy something at the town but he was not sure what exactly to or what are the merman's preferences and he would be leaving the creature alone again. He gave out a heavy sigh with realizing what was the best option. "... Alright. Are you still on about going with me? We can go look for something you want."

"It's not worth risking my life going if it's not even going to be any fun. You can get me anything that won't be destroyed by water. Even a live fish would be fine." Kaisui really didn't want to go on a long trip into town if it was going to be as boring as Theo had made it sound. The mermaid really wasn't picky since he'd been entertaining himself with something as simple as the chain that kept him bound there. He looked up nervously. It was clear he didn't really want to go to town to begin with. His boredom was just killing him.

Theo gave Kaisui a nod, already decided what he was going to buy for him. "I see. A live fish it is then. I would be back." He waved the creature goodbye as he left the room, bringing the container along to the kitchen before heading out to town. The nearby town basically has anything he needs so the place was very convenient. Theo had bought three clownfishes for Kaisui. They are colourful and small which seemed interesting to chase. However he returned home later than usual since he was held up due to an event happening there that he did not actually care what it is, wanting to go back as soon as possible. Persistent people are really difficult to handle, he thought grudgingly.

 

Theo was quite drunk with the amount he was forced to drink. The pain in his head was worse with the fever. Immediately after he entered through the front door, he went to get a glass of water but that helped only a little. Trying to brush it off, he decided to bring the live fish first as well as the fish food for it. He sat on the steps as usual and let the fishes go. The fish food was placed just right beside him. "Hey, don't I get a reward?" he asked, his hands placed on top of the edge and his head resting on it while being slightly red.

Kaisui was looking away from the door inspecting a bunch of the different things all over the shelves in the room. He stopped when the door opened and swam back to Theo surprised by how long it took. When he saw the clown fish fall into the tank and swim about, Kaisui's face lit up. He watched the fish scatter about the pool but the mermaid's attention was drawn back to Theo who was requesting payment. His face was bright red. "Well I guess I should say anything you want. You've been bringing me my meals without any trouble and now you got me three clown fish. Thank you." Kaisui wondered what was wrong with Theo but he kept quiet and waited for a request expecting it to be for him to get out and dry off.

[Harifah]

Theo chould see Kaisui being excited with what he had bought for him, not regretting at all for what he did to make the merman smile. Although he meant that as a joke, he was still elated that the creature had accepted when he wanted a reward and never had he imagine the other would not set limitations on what he could offer. "Anything? How nice. But I think you can guess what I would want now," his lips curled and did not try to lift his head. While he was resting on the left hand that was holding the right elbow, the right hand was swaying into the water and making circles. He glanced at the small fishes for a moment before returning his gaze back to the merman. "Right, your tail. Let's free that first," he mentioned, splashing lightly on the water, motioning to the tail for it to come forward so he could unlock the chain restraining the creature. He finally raises his head so his hand could take out the key from one of his pockets on his pants.

Kaisui knew where this was going before even offering but he still knew he had to do it. After all, Theo clearly wasn't feeling well and still went out of his way to get the mermaid some fish to play with. This was the least that he could do, not to mention the only thing that he could do. Kaisui lifted himself out of the water a bit and onto what little room there was on the stairs just so Theo could reach the end of his tail. Once it was free, the mermaid pulled himself farther onto the stairs where he was able to sit and look down for the human to get him a towel.

 

Kaisui took the towel to dry himself off getting his sealed neck, his hair and then the rest of his body. Once he was in a human form, he slowly made his way down the stairs standing considerably better. Finally, the merman was getting use to his new legs. Walking was awkward but at least he could walk.

Placing the key back into his pocket after unlocking the chain from the tail, Theo went to get a towel from the shelf then gave it to the creature and watched him dry himself. He led Kaisui to the bedroom and instead of waiting for him, he even brought him closer to bed and pushed him down gently. Laying down on top of the merman, his hands were positioned on the other's forearm. He clicked his town when his face was closing in on the lips, reminding himself not to kiss Kaisui for now because of his fever. He did not know if mermaids can even be sick. He was just trying to be cautious so that he would not transfer his cold, if he could to the other and let his head fall beside the creature's head. "Eventhough your skin is quite cold, it feels nice. So soft," he whispered into his ear, nuzzling into the shoulder a bit. Nibbling and kissing the nape of the merman's neck, he slowly moved to the collarbone and immediately bit one of the merman's nipples.

Kaisui was nervous as he walked into the bedroom and was then pushed onto the bed, Theo climbing on top of him. The mermaid wanted to run but he didn't. After all, he was the one to offer to do anything. He noticed that the human seemed to refuse himself kissing the mermaid on the lips and wondered if that was how sickness was transferred between humans. Could he catch a human's illness? Even Kaisui himself didn't know. Still, he flinched as he was kissed all over his neck and collarbone before being bit on the nipple. The mermaid was still afraid of being eaten even now so every time Theo used his mouth, it was a scary thing. This time around, it took more then just some nipple play to get it up even though he was more sensitive today then usual. As soon as Theo started touching Kaisui's member, it stood right up and was hard as a rock.

While the mermaid didn't want to admit it, and never would, he did feel good when they had done it and though he hated it himself, it was a nice feeling. He also hated himself for thinking that. Once he was pretty loose, Kaisui couldn't take it any more. "Go on, and put it in. I'm fine already." The mermaid just wanted to get this over with... well that's how he made it seem of course.
