Kaisui jumped and looked over at Theo nervously. 'Why is he so angry? I didn't do anything...' The mermaid thought to himself clearly not having heard the question. "W-What's wrong?" He stuttered. Kaisui didn't like how angry Theo seemed to have gotten over nothing and he sat there waiting for the human to either respond or ask him something else, anything. "I'm sorry... I guess I was just enjoying the warm water too much... I'm not use to it being this warm..." He slowly admitted his reason for having missed the original question.

Releasing a defeated sigh, he had confirmed that the creature really was in his own world before. Theo did not see how remaining annoyed would be any better for the both of them thus changed the topic since the merman was already looking at him now. He gave a glance at the merman's tail, seeing only it's scales. "How do you mate in that form?" Putting his hand in the water, it did feel nice and warm and played with it for a while. Once he see the water about to be filled by the brim, he turned the knob off to stop it.

Kaisui placed his hand on his tail a bit and showed a small slit that is invisible normally. "I have a male reproductive organ in this slit and so I use that with females." The mermaid pulled his hand away not wanting to really show anything or have Theo try and play with it. Kaisui then watched as the human turned off the water to keep it from pouring out. He didn't understand the point in that since Theo never cared about any other time the mermaid got water all over the place like when he was pulled out of the pool, climbed out and got the blanket, or the time he was carried out to be fed on the first day. For granted all those times were causing Theo to have his mind on other things but still.

Theo was quite unsatisfied with not being able to see the real thing when Kaisui had only showed where it was. The creature was also quick to remove his hand from his tail, guessing that he knew Theo will want to examine it with his hands for a while. He was amazed how the merman had seemed to get used to his antics. "How long do you want to be in here?" He was getting cold with not wearing clothes and was only able to warm his hands by dipping them into the bath water. Wondering what time it was, he thought whether the sun will rise any moment. He was tired and really wanted some shut eye if it was just a few hours after midnight.

Kaisui realized that he couldn't just stay in the warm water and said, "I'm sorry, I can leave now. You probably want to get back to be and you can't exactly leave me in here or I might try to run away... I can head back to the pool if you want. You probably should get some rest and I'll just play with the new fish you got me." It was pretty clear that Kaisui didn't want to go back to sleep even though he was also pretty tired. He was happy that Theo dropped the topic of his reproductive organ because it wasn't the same as a human's. It was a hell of a lot more sensitive. "You should sleep so your health doesn't get worse." The mermaid was really concerned about the human.

Theo stayed quiet when Kaisui mentioned that he could not leave so that he would not run away, not even trying to deny it eventhough he had rarely thought about it nowadays. Although, he could not bring himself to let go of the merman that, never imagining he would. "Wait here for a moment." It was not necessary to say that but he still wanted to let the creature know he would not be gone long. Not saying anything else, he stood up and dry himself then hung his towel at the back of the door. After he returned, he had already wore his clothes and had a spare towel in hand. "Dry with this first. You don't have to be completely dry if you don't want to. I just want the floor to stay dry when I carry you," he stated, only bending down to give him the towel.

Kaisui took the towel and hoisted himself up onto the edge of the tub so he could dry himself. He pat away most of the water but he was still really wet. It wouldn't take too long for the mermaid to fully dry so he needed to get to the pool quickly. "Alright, I'm ready." He placed the towel off to the side and reached up to hold onto Theo as he was carried off to the pool. Kaisui's hair was still sort of dripping but he was trying his best to make it only drip on himself. When they made it to the pool, the mermaid was patient to have his tail chained up before he dove into the water and swam around causing the fish to scatter and swim about. He laughed a bit but was very gentle towards the clown fish.

Theo lifted Kaisui up as soon as he mentioned that he was ready, bringing him back to the room with the pool. He then chained the merman's tail as usual, but it felt weird now that he was not fighting back before letting him into the water. After seeing that the creature was now playing with the fishes that he had recently bought, he left the room to go to his own bedroom. Trying to sleep came out difficult at first but eventually he could rest.

 

Theo woke up later than usual but he did receive enough sleep. He was not on a strict schedule so once in a while it will be fine to do his routine differently. The merman did not seem to be going to sleep when he left, wondering if he ever did. "Good morning," he greeted Kaisui after entering, bringing in the creature's breakfast and closed in to the steps. After sitting on it, he waited for the other to come since he did not really want to drop it when the clownfishes are still present. "Can you come and take this?"

"Good morning," Kaisui said realizing he had dosed off. He looked around and wondered what even happened. One minute he was swimming about messing with the fish and in the next, he was asleep on the bottom of the pool. The mermaid shook his head and swam up to take the fish to eat. He stopped when he had the fish in hand but thought for a second staring at Theo. "Why do humans put things on them like that?" He pointed to Theo's clothes. Every time he was human he was, and stayed naked so what was the point it clothes anyway?

Giving out a thoughtful hum, Theo stared at Kaisui blankly. He had never really thought about it, not everyone would. Clothes were there when they were born and no one questioned it since it was a usual thing. Although, he liked how the merman was curious about everything. It was as if he was a little child starting to learn but then Kaisui could be almost the same age as him. He found it to be very adorable. "Well, basically humans wear these to protect themselves. Exposure of the body can easily make us sick. Other than that, I guess it's for modesty," he explained what was most of his opinion but that was not a false statement. Looking at the merman, he was intrigued by his appearance as he imagined the other having clothing on. "It will be interesting to see you wear them," he added, giving the other a wide grin.

"Would I be able to try them on?" Kaisui was very curious about clothes and wouldn't mind indulging Theo in his antics to be able to at least try them. The mermaid wondered if they'd be free flowing or if they'd make him feel restricted. While he waited for the human to make his choice, the mermaid slowly started to eat up a bit here and there. "If you want to go get some stuff for me to try on I can eat and if you unchain me I can even dry off for you." It was clear that his curiosity was going to keep him from just drying off and running away.

"Sure. I can lend you mine." The two of them seemed to be about the same build so Theo thought his clothes would be able to fit Kaisui but was not certain how exactly well. "Your tail." He unlocked the chain as the merman suggested once the other raised his tail enough into his reach. The towels would always be replaced after they had used them but he did not have a chance to replace yesterday's one yet since he was so tired. However, the laundary work has increased for him, not so sure how he felt about that. Leaving the other to eat and dry off, it took longer than he thought to just choose clothes for the creature. He wanted them to suit the merman and not mindlessly pick them out although he did not really have a good fashion sense. At the end, he finally selected a set of them which consists of a grayish-blue t-shirt as well as black cargo pants and went again to the back room. "Are you done?"

Kaisui gladly offered his tail to have it unlocked and then he got himself up onto the stairs where he finished his meal and then dried off. By the time Theo had gotten back, the mermaid had just dried his tail and gotten his legs but still had the towel on him. He placed the towel to the side and walked down the stairs. Finally he was getting use to having legs and was learning to walk pretty well. "I'm ready," he said excitedly. Kaisui required help to get everything on but he finally got dressed and was really excited to be wearing clothes. It was harder to move around that was for sure but he thought he looked really cool.

Theo assisted Kaisui in putting on the clothes, directing where his arms and head should go on the t-shirt as well as showing the holes for his legs to go in on the pants. Once the merman was dressed, he gave him an elevator look after a step back and his eyes finally land on the face, elated with the happy expression the other was wearing. "Hey, wanna go out?" he asked, thinking it might be a fun idea. "It's just going to be a simple walk and it will only be for a while. But if you want to, we could go to town. I'll make sure we return before you dry out or we could bring water or something for you to drink so you can stay hydrated." He was very eager to bring the other outside and it has been a while since the creature had let the sunlight touch him or breathe fresh air.

"Alright, but didn't you say town was boring? Oh well, I could use some fresh air anyway!!" He was very excited and followed Theo. "We should bring water just in case!" Just as they got outside the mermaid stopped. "The humans won't... you know.... try to kill or eat me.... will they?" He was very nervous and was clearly having second thoughts almost wanting to go back inside. He still had webbed hands, and bare, clawed feet. His feet also were sort of scaly on top so how was he going to hide this completely. He also had the marks on the side of his neck where his gill were. The mermaid started shaking in place like a deer in the headlights and couldn't move an inch.

"It's boring when I go there for business. This is for fun." Theo took a medium-sized bag and brought along a few bottle of water. He usually uses a large knapsack but he was not planning on carrying any wares at the moment. Seeing Kaisui's appearance, he decided the most noticeable one will be his gills. He wrapped his neck with a thin and short scarf to only make the creature's neck not visible but loose enough for him to breathe. It look a bit odd but he could come up an excuse if anyone were to ask about it. There was no spare shoes for the merman to wear so he gave Kaisui his own and wore his father's instead. They were larger but was not that easy to come out so he could still walk in them.

 

"It's fine. They won't as long as they think you're human," he responded upon the creature asking about the humans in town. The town was busy and he was quite worried if the creature was to get lost. "While we're outside, I want you to follow one rule." Theo grabbed the other's hand, gripping it tightly but not enough for it to hurt. "Hold my hand at all times but if for some reason my hands are full, grab my shirt or sleeve. Simple isn't it. So if you break it, we're gonna play a punishment game," he mentioned, giving the merman a joyful smirk. He did not think the creature would purposely let go of his hand and just added about giving him a punishment just for his own amusement. "You don't need to do it now but when in town, make sure your other hand is in your pocket," he reminded, gesturing at the hand and then the pocket of Kaisui's pants.

Kaisui was put together completely now and he looked a bit strange but at least he could handle it. The shoes were really strange to him and it made his walking strange like a dog wearing booties for the first time. He was still nervous but at least now he thought they might be able to pull it off. All he had to do was act human.... simple... right?.... Kaisui was so awkward right now but he finally took a breath and walked forwards... or sort of forwards with the shoes still messing with his walk.

 

Kaisui held onto Theo's shirt almost the entire way to the town and then when they got there, he took the human's hand and stuck his other hand into the pocket as he was told. Of course the mermaid kept his head down as he glanced about slowly seeing all the people. This was terrifying to him. It was like a human jumping into a shark tank. Kaisui's hand was cold and clamy, even shaking a little but he kept moving forwards looking at a few things while still being on high alert. It was a little easier to relax the farther they went but it was still scary and way too crowded for his liking. Finally, the mermaid was getting distracted by several things and was needing a little pull every now and then but as it got more crowded it was harder to stick together. Of course when Theo's hands were full, Kaisui grabbed onto the back of his shirt a bit but he continued to feel the pushing and shoving of the humans. The mermaid tried to hold on but his fingers slipped and he retracted his hand quickly so no one would look at it. "TH-Theo!! W-wait up!!" Panic was setting in and the mermaid was desperate to find his human but every second wasted was separating them more and more.

Theo led Kaisui to town, looking back now and then to see how his nervousness had not gone away yet. They entered the town and the people who recognizes him was quick to have a friendly chat. Claiming that the other was his cousin and he came for a visit, the chatty people left them to their own devices when he stated that he wanted to show the creature around. Luckily, no one commented on the merman's attire, well at least not in front of them with him hearing whispers and giggles concerning it. From time to time, he rubbed his thumb on the back of the merman's hand in an attempt to calm him down but could not tell whether it was working. Looking around, he allowed the creature to enjoy himself but they still have to rush to not let him dry out. He remembered that he needed to buy supplies and in no time, his hands were full of stuff for his everyday life. Continuing to walk as he kept some of the things into the bag, his mind was too occupied on what else to buy to notice the creature slipping away. Hearing the voice calling his name and not feeling a tug at his shirt, it was too late for him to go back and find the other at the same place. He became too worried to think straight and was really focused on find Kaisui.

 

Finally having found the merman, Theo immediately grabbed his forearm and pulled him into a more secluded area. They ended up in an abandoned alleyway, far from any townsmen. He knew each and every corner of this town since he visited the place frequently and explored when he had some free time. There was no one who would walk here anymore so he took off the merman's scarf. "It's fine here. Are you alright?" Searching in his bag, he handed the water bottle to Kaisui for him to drink.

Kaisui was finally pulled from the crowd, trying to keep his voice down because, just as it had with Theo, his voice could entice anyone. When they were finally somewhere safe and quiet, the mermaid hugged the human tightly, tears streaming down his face. "I want to go home...." He begged wanting to be back in his safe pool, chain around his tail, clown fish swimming around him. He wouldn't even mind going back and sitting in the tub or even on the bed, just where he found it safe and away from the humans. Kaisui managed to pull himself away a few minutes later and took the bottle of water. He drank the whole thing and then reached out to grab Theo's shirt again. "I want to go home," he repeated only slightly more calmly but still he seemed really upset. Humans were terrifying... it would have been easier to start with a couple close friends instead of putting him through that.

Theo stroked Kaisui's hair as he hugged the other back and could only wipe away the creature's tears with his fingers. He kept the empty water bottle back into the bag after it was given back to him. "I got it already", he spoke gently, kissing his forehead after pulling up his hair a little. There was still some things he needed but the merman was his top priority. Putting back his scarf, he led the other out of the town through a path with less people. He knew the creature would not want to see any human again but with a town of high population, that was not possible.

 

"Kaisui. I'm sorry," he muttered as he let the merman to have a hold on the back of his shirt when they are on their way back, not wanting him to see his expression right now. He helped Kaisui remove his shoes and allowed him to sit on the couch of the living room first after they entered the house. "Do you want to go to the pool?" he asked with no distance between them when they were resting on the couch.

"It's ok... I was the one getting over excited to go see the town... I didn't even think about just how many humans there could be... There are never that many mermaids all in one place...." Kaisui had his shoes taken off and pulled his feet up on the couch and nuzzled into Theo as he sat down as well. "I'm fine... I don't have to go back to the pool right now..." He was quiet and just laid there feeling safe near Theo. "Can I have another water though? I have to be punished for letting go of you." He didn't even look scared about the punishment and almost welcomed it. If he was to be chained up in this safe house, then he'd feel even better. Even if Kaisui was tied up in the bathroom the way he was that one time, then he'd feel a lot better. What was strange was the mermaid's desire to be chained up and encased. It just made him feel better.

 

Before Theo could protest or anything, Kaisui looked up at him begging. "Please, I want to be chained up right now. I don't want to feel like someone can just come in and take me. Please... Chain me up however you see fit!"

Theo was about to let the punishment go but when Kaisui begged, it urged the sadistic side of him and made his sly smirk return. "Do you now?" he playfully asked, holding the other's chin up. As he stripped the merman naked, he rained down kisses everywhere except for the lips. Taking a pair of ordinary cuffs by his working table, he let the creature wore it and put the chains over a hook on the wall. It was a strong one and low enough so it did not need to support the weight of his body, just his hands but it was still hard to remove the chains from the hook by himself. He then blindfold the other with some kind of black cloth and bit his nose while tying the knot. Taking the water bottle, he let its mouth touch the merman's lips and then let him drink the water after he had opened them. "Is that all you want me to do?" he questioned as he pulled the bottle away, using his leg to pushed the creature's feet apart and his knee was positioned between the thighs.

Kaisui didn't mind the games anymore, well, at least not now. Right now it felt fun and safe as the mermaid was stripped and chained to a wall. He stood properly and was soon blindfolded. He drank all the water and felt his feet be pushed farther apart. When Theo asked if that was all the mermaid wanted, he didn't feel bound enough. Sure he couldn't get away but that wasn't the point, he was still so exposed. Still, it seemed to be calming him down. "I want to be chained up more... I want to feel completely bound to you like I'll never be able to be taken from your cage by anyone else." This would be one of the most embarrassing things for a human to say but for a mermaid it wasn't something they even would blink at. Sure they wouldn't often say it but they didn't care if they did say it. Anyway, Kaisui didn't even want to be able to move his legs. He just wanted to be chained and tied up like some kind of Masochist.

Theo's smirk grew wider as he heard what Kaisui said. "Aren't you being too demanding?" he gleefuly stated, nonetheless still liked carrying out what the merman wanted. Dropping the water bottle down since it was empty instead of putting it away properly, he was indulging himself into the creature's command too much. He took the long metal rod and bind his legs with ropes almost to each of its end. He managed to hold up the rod by tying them to the poles supporting his house in the living room, the creature's legs now slightly lifted into the air. He went over to the merman's torso and traced his fingers around the stomach area and then onto his chest, flicking his nipples hard. "Is this enough, my dear Kaisui?"

Kaisui was a bit nervous as his legs were bound and his feet came off the ground. He was now able to relax even though it was kind of a painful position to to be in. He felt Theo touching his stomach and chest before roughly flicking his nipple. "This is better... I'm ok like this... you can do more if you want though...." He was fine with this much but Kaisui felt like Theo wanted to do something more. He didn't mind and if this human wanted to hurt him or do anything else, the mermaid was willing to put up with anything Theo wanted to throw at him. Kaisui would of course rest later but for now, whatever Theo wanted was good.
