The Imprisoned Mermaid [18+] (Harifah x WolfDog) [sadistic]

Kaisui got up with Theo's help and let the words settle in as he thought about what was best. "Do you think I could ever try human food?" It was impossible to tell if the mermaid was allergic to anything or if he could even eat the kinds of things humans did but he was really curious none the less. Kaisui then began to wonder about the mermaids that were complete opposites of him. Did they only eat human food and couldn't eat raw fish the way Kaisui could or were their diets closer to that of a mermaid like Kaisui.

There were so many questions he wanted answers to but he did notice just how sad Theo seemed when he talked about family. It hurt Kaisui just as much because he was taken from his home so he couldn't see his family any longer. Still.... The mermaid went to Theo and just hugged him reaching up and putting his arms around the human's neck. "I'm sorry," he whispered not entirely sure of what he was sorry for... maybe the loss of the human's parents but it wasn't like that was Kaisui's fault... was it? No, he'd never really seen a human before Theo.

Theo was clearly taken aback by the sudden hug and apology, wondering why Kaisui did that but did not care to even question it. Somehow, it felt really comforting compared to the other times when he was the one who initiated the hugs between him and the creature. He was kind of expecting that the merman to ask about his unusual actions instead. Hugging back tightly for a while, he slowly remove himself and let his forehead meet with the other. "I'll let you have some if you want. Human food, I mean," he whispered before straightening himself back and reached for the creature's hand. He then led the merman to the back room and helped him to enter the pool but did not feel like chaining his tail for now. "I guess your tail won't be chained down for now," he mentioned as the half-fish started to step in to the pool. "What else do you want to do today?" he asked, sitting on the steps while he had his hands on top of the edge of the wall.

Kaisui jumped into the pool changing instantly. He flipped and made his way to the surface again. "Thank you for all that," he said. "I do wish I knew what, but I can't think of anything else to do. Are there any games humans like to play?... other then the games we have been playing?" He didn't really want to get out again and dry off again. He felt like he was changing too much back and forth and needed to be able to stay in this form for a while. "Theo? Why do you like when I call your name so much?

Theo hummed with a tune when Kaisui questioned why he enjoyed it when the other called him by his name. "No real reason. I just like it and also the sound of your voice." There was really none. He fell in love with the creature's voice the first time he heard it and the sound of his name by the voice simply made him delighted. Being deep in thought for a moment after the merman had asked about games that humans play, not even one came to mind. Never did he have friends as a child that he could play with thus there was never a time he even have experience in playing a single game. "Games, huh? Nothing that I can think of. So, let's just chat." He suggested then figured if the other was more interested in playing something. "Or do you have any games?" he asked, willing in doing anything the other wanted.

Kaisui knew a mermaid's voice was enticing but his should effect women mostly... If it was this bad for men... what would it be like if a woman heard him. The mermaid shivered and pushed the thought out of his head so he could focus on the game situation. "Well... my siblings and I would play hide-and-find for hours or tag. Of course we can't really play that here... We can just chat if you want to." He was fine with just a chat so long at the topic wasn't something strange. "So, what do you want to talk about?"

Theo was intrigued that Kaisui had siblings when he had none and wanted to ask of it. But he did not really want to remind him of them or any member of his family actually and brushed the thought off his mind. "Anything really. Like..." He paused to think of something, looking around the room. Seeing the clownfishes swimming about in the tank, he was curious how much the merman cared and appreciated his gift. "Do these fishes have a name?" he inquired, gesturing at the fishes that never seemed to rest.

"Yep!" He turned and pointed to one that was clearly had the most energy. "That little spaz is Kaz. Kaz the spaz!" He seemed pleased with himself for making the rhyme. Kaisui then looked around to point to the most mellow one. "That one is actually a female and I call her Kairi." He then looked around unable to find the last one. Kaisui moved aside and there was the third trying to see how close to Kaisui he could get but when the mermaid looked back, the fish swam off. "That little trickster is Rin. These fish are kind of fun to play with because they are so different from each other." The mermaid waved to the fish before looking back at Theo.

By how Kaisui mentioned before getting these fishes that he wanted anything that he could play with or chase after, Theo thought that the merman would treat them like toys or something. Seeing how kind he was to them, he did not expect that the creature would end up befriending these clownfishes. The other surprising thing is that each of them are truly different while they still looked the same. He would not have noticed their distinct traits if the merman had not pointed it out. "I like them. They sound great." At least it was better than what he would name them but he was not going to say that out loud. "So, which of them is your favourite? Or do you like them equally?"

Kaisui took pride in the names he had given the fish and smiled at Theo when he seemed to like them as well. "I don't have a favorite but I will admit, Rin can be quite the nuisance some times. Still, they mostly fear me so I can still chase them if I want... Except Kairi.... She seems to be the least afraid... I think she just swims away to please me..." He scowled a little at the thought as he stared at the mellow fish but he shrugged and looked up at Theo again. "What about you? Do you have any friends?" Kaisui wasn't being mean and he would have used the word pets if he knew or had ever hear of the word before. Sadly, "Pets" was a term only used and known by humans.

"No, I don't," Theo bluntly spoke, not even blinking as he did. It never bothered him to be friendless and in his mind, he preferred it to be that way. He then looked at the merman and grinned, wanting to tease him just a bit. "Not counting you, though. But you're a 'special' friend, Kaisui." After a moment, he tried to think of if there was really someone else and was instantly reminded of the townsmen. "There are the humans in the town but they're pretty much partners to me," he nonchalantly stated, rarely had he thought about them as companions and really see that they have a business relationship together. "Do you have any hobbies, Kaisui?" he asked, trying to get away from that topic as it did make him a little uncomfortable thinking about it.

Kaisui instantly regretted asking the question and looked down sadly and then nervously when Theo changed it to being about the mermaid's relationship with him. "I don't think I really have any hobbies..." he admitted glad to have the topic now completely changed. "Do you want to join me in the water or do humans get sick when they are fully submerged?" The mermaid wondered as Theo had gotten sick from Kaisui splashing water all over him that one time. The mermaid wanted to stretch his tail a bit especially since it wasn't chained and he figured they could get off all the hard to talk about topics by doing this.

Theo found it to be quite startling that Kaisui will offer that kind of invitation. He had already provided him with the fishes, not sure why the merman wanted him to get into the water if it was not company. "I got sick because the water was too cold. We humans can't really handle temperatures that has a great difference between our bodies. It's fine for me to swim in it, though," he explained, clearing up the reason why he had gotten a fever. "Other than that, humans can't breathe for too long when they're underwater. See it like this, while you can't stay out of the water for too long, I can't stay in it for too long," he added since that was not the only purpose why all of the humans avoided living in the water. He concluded that mermaids and humans are somewhat opposites with each other the more he knew about the other species. "But if you really want me to join you, I could." It did not really matter of he got in or not, only finding it to be strange for the other to say that. However, he wanted a confirmation if the creature really did want him in the pool.

"Humans really are like the mermaids that are mostly human then fish." He thought for a minute. "I don't want you to live in the water I just wanted to be able to swim with you... You've shown me a lot about being human but I guess I wanted to be able to show you a little bit about being a mermaid... Swimming is the only thing I can do..." He got really sad all of a sudden as he thought about all the things he use to do back home. It hurt that all of those things were gone and even hunting was reduced to playing with tiny clown fish. "Never mind..." He mumbled before slipping completely under the surface. Kaisui was really sad again to be in nothing more then an over grown fish tank and he swam to the bottom where he laid down to rest.

When the merman had shown a dejected expression, Theo panicked in his head with being dumbfounded on what to do. He wondered whether he had somehow rejected Kaisui's invitation without realizing it. Calling out his name in a confused manner as the creature sank down to the bottom of the tank, that seemed to not have work. He had a thought that maybe joining the other in the pool might cheer him up. He hurriedly stormed out and then went to his bedroom to dig up his swimming trunks out of his wardrobe which he had not worn it in quite a while so he really had to really dig up so much in order to just find a single pair of shorts. His room was now a mess. Some of his clothes were left unfold when he was searching for the attire and the outfit he had worn before was just thrown on the floor when he changed. He bursted back into the room without sparing any moment, hoping the merman did not fell asleep out of boredom. Slowly, he dipped one of his foot first and little by little began to enter the water. "Come on. I thought you want to swim together," he excitedly exclaimed, holding the top edge of the wall while looking down at Kaisui.

Kaisui looked up still really sad. He really did like being around here and having fun with Theo but he missed being home and being able to see his family and have fun being just what he was. It was like he had to become human in order to have fun being here but he couldn't even stay human for more then a few hours without drying out. He couldn't ever be a human but would Theo even like him if he was just a human?

The mermaid looked up to see Theo climbing into the pool. He did want to swim but he also wanted to be able to be free to swim. Still, Kaisui did appreciate the humans's attempt to make him feel better. Theo clearly didn't like to see the young fish so depressed. He swam up to the human and reached out his hand. He wanted to give it a chance none the less so he wanted to swim around with Theo... at least until he couldn't take the cold any longer.

As soon as he saw the extended hand, Theo did not hesitate on grabbing it and smiled. He wanted to see Kaisui happy again and would willingly comply to anything the other wishes to see him smile again. "What do you want to do?" he asked as tugged the creature's hand playfully. The water level was several inches higher than him so he had to make himself float by moving his other hand up and down in a rhythm. Although the tank was big, it was not too spacious for two people to swim and play in it. Doing little things like splashing around is fine but would be absolutely boring for a swimming race.

"Sorry I made you come in here..." He mumbled, mouth under water. Kaisui had his head above the surface down to his nose which was underwater along with everything below his nose. The mermaid let go of Theo's hand and swam around him in a perfect and easy circle. The mermaid was very agile and good at moving around in the water. He came up in front of Theo pulling his whole head out of the water now but keeping his gills where he could use them to breathe. "Can you swim to the bottom of the tank and back up?" Kaisui was wondering how long Theo could hold his breath for.

"Kinda late to say that when I'm already in," Theo let out a small laugh while he played with the water around him. "Sure," he nodded to the creature's request but could not get what he actually wanted by having him doing this. He dived to the place where he would usually see Kaisui rest and sleep, tagging the spot with his hand and went back up. Once his head was out of the water, Rin nibbled one of his toes which made him jolt and made a muffled grunt that was him trying to hold in a shocked scream. He instanly grabbed the merman by the shoulders, pulling him closer. It was very unexpecting when he had let himself forget about the clownfishes and focused so much on regaining his breath. "... One of the fishes bit me." he scowled as he released the merman and searched for the one who did it. Remembering their personalities, he could tell it was Rin but with all of them looking the same, it was quite hard to point out which one.

Kaisui watched as Theo easily dove to the bottom and back up only to be startled by a little kiss on his toe by one of the fish. The mermaid laughed at the human's reaction and searching for the culprit. "That must be Rin. He's over there now." Kaisui pointed to one of the clown fish near the wall of the pool. He was the farthest away with Kairi between them. The mermaid dove under and easily caught the troublemaker, cupping him into his webbed hands and swam back over to Theo to show him. "Here he is," Kaisui was in a much better mood as he opened his hands a bit to show the human his catch. Once he saw the little troublemaker, Kaisui opened his hands and released him. Instantly, Rin swam away as quickly as he could and as far as he could manage.

Theo was amazed how the merman made it seemed easy to just catch a fish with his hands while most humans including himself need some kind of net to even get hold of those fast swimmers. He noticed that Kaisui seemed to be feeling much better, making him delighted as well. While he knew partly it was because of the clownfish, he did not like the thought of having to even thank it and did not even want to acknowledge it especially when it had just messed with him. That was quite embarassing of him to act like that and right in front of the merman. But that made the other laughed so he was kind of glad how things turned out. "Let's play more," he spoke in a cheery tone, taking both of the creature's hand and jerking them a little.

Kaisui felt his hands being jerked and started at Theo a bit surprised but when the human mentioned playing more, the merman was all too happy to do so. "Ok, well what do you want to play?" Kaisui started to pull Theo forwards as the mermaid swam backwards. A tail was highly useful because he was able to swim so smoothly and almost completely up right even though he was swimming backwards and gently pulling Theo along with him. It was like a parent walking around shallow water pulling their child to help them learn to kick their feet but in this case, Kaisui couldn't touch the bottom like this and it wasn't to teach a kid to kick.

Theo could feel his hands getting wrinkly due to the moisture. He did not mind being pulled along by Kaisui and just allowed him to guide them. "What do I want to play?" he repeated after letting out a thoughtful hum, not really sure what they can exactly do in this tank. He seemed to caught himself staring at the motion of the merman's tail before looking back at the creature's face, making eye contact. "I'll play anything you want. I don't care," he exclaimed in an excited manner as he rubbed his thumbs on the back of the merman's hands. "Or we could just stay like this. I kinda like it," he added, really loving to spend his moments like this with the other. In a way, it was quite relaxing being in the water with the creature.

"We can stay like this if you want. I like swimming like this with you too!" Kaisui knew the water was cold and that Theo could only handle so much. He then could feel the human's hands getting wrinkled and tried to keep track of that too. "Please just tell me when you get too cold because I know humans can't take this temperature for too long." Kaisui continued to pull Theo around and around, the clown fish continually moving out of their way. The mermaid's tail kept even Rin from getting close to Theo and his toes again.

"Will do!" Theo nodded, not that he would hide the fact when it would be cold for him from Kaisui. After a while, he spoke up as soon as he felt his feet got cold after a few rounds, tugging the hands and stopped himself in the process. "I think I'm done now." He then pulled the two of them near the steps but not as skilled as the creature when he did it. Putting both of the merman's hand closer to his face, he gently kissed one of them. "Thank you for the good time." He remembered the act from some story book his mother had read to him when he was a child, trying to mimic it but clearly knew what it meant. After having released the hands, he climbed out of the water and onto the steps. Taking the towel on the shelf, he wiped himself dry and focused mostly on his hair. "Well, I'm going to get change. I'll come back... but that might be in a while." He closed the door behind him as he exit the room and locked it, putting his forehead on the door and released a sigh. Was it necessary to lock it? Would Kaisui stayed if he didn't? He pondered on and on about it while he walked to his room, not expecting that he would be so fond of the merman to have a thought of letting it go pass through his mind.

Kaisui helped Theo back to the stairs and watched him climb out and onto the steps before hurrying to dry off and then rushing out of the room to change. The mermaid looked at his hands thinking about what the human had done before he looked over at the door hearing the clicking sound of it locking... He was really saddened by that sound but he did try to escape once. Kaisui looked down at his free tail and wondered if he really was free.

The mermaid forced the thought from his mind and swam around messing with the fish for a while before he stopped. He swam to the stairs and pulled himself up onto them since they hadn't been pulled away yet. Kaisui sat on the steps with the end of his tail in the water. He wanted to stay in this form but it was so boring. The mermaid leaned back on his hands and stared at the ceiling for a bit. He turned and took a drink of water from the red bucket and then looked back at the ceiling. He wanted to see the sky again.
