InkompleteWish
The world of Skandia, an assortment of floating isles in a sea of clouds. Nothing connects these islands, no bridges, no railways, nothing. The only transportation is the local beasts or sky ships. Small ships, big ships, triangle formed ships, square ships, whatever you could think of. Skandia knows no limitations. Nobody knows where the sea of clouds or the sky of water will end or if there is anything beyond. We just know that the islands are numerous as well as the races that live on them. Two of the bigger races with their own empire are the Angels and the Elves. Both really prideful species that have been at war for generations. But no longer, a marriage was issued to connect them both to bring peace. But it was only political, no love whatsoever. But who knows just like this sky is endless so are the possibilities of fate. The guardians, fateful protectors of the world at least in the government’s eyes are protecting the cruiser that is hosting the marriage ritual and thus the royalties dancing, drinking and eating on top of it. For what did they need protection? For the beasts of the sky or pirates. Scumbags to the government but saviours of the poor. But do not trust the mass. Good and bad exist together; there is no straight line that determines a person’s personality. _____________________________________ The players: Elven Royalty: AmaryllisRose Angel Royalty: Yukio Takamiya Sky Guardian 1: hal7283 Sky Guardian 2: Alpha Zero Sky Pirate 1: Tetsu Sky Pirate 2: InkompleteWish _____________________________________ My character (Sky Pirate 2): Species: Human Preference: Uke/Seke Name: Ethan Carter Age: 28 Years Personality traits: Straightforward, prideful, confident, has a soft side, stern Bio: Ethan has always lived in poverty. His family owned a small shack that could hardly be called a house, just the barest of clothing on his body and hardly a good amount of food. They were farmers and had to pay to the local lord. Not long and an epidemic spread. His parents were victims of it, yet the lord didn’t see the need to do anything against it. Since that point Ethan swore revenge on all those people sitting on their high thrones and practically enslaving those under them. As such he became a Sky Pirate. And the rest, they say, is history and doesn’t need to be revived.
hal7283
hal7283's character. Sky Guardian 1 Name: Agnir Amsel Race: Half Angel, half Demon Age: 23 Gender: Male Height: 5ft 6in Personality: Devious, calculative, secluded, distrustful of others, ambitious, prideful, jealous. But able to act subordination or friendly if it serves his goal. Position: Seke, would play both position depending on the mood or preference of the partner. Occupation/Rank : Commander. Second in command of Sky Guardian battleship “Phoenix”, Chief of Casters of the same vessel. History: Agnir was the son of a Demon man and an Angel women. The advisory between the two races had existed for countless millennias, to the point where it’s origin is now shrouded in mystery. Therefore it’s a understatement to say that the child of such a union would be frowned upon and despised by people. To make things worse his mother was the daughter of an Angel nobility; and his father, whose identity remained unknown till this day, disappeared once the pregnancy was found out. Despite the pressure coming from the rest of the family Agnir’s mother decided to keep the child. She gave birth to Agnir several months before the supposed birth date, and the mother and child was sent to a far away estate away from the public eye. Agnir inherited features from both of his parents, yet as if proving that the union between Angels and Demons were cursed, his premature birth left its mark on his body: his black feathered wings were deformed, which prevented him from ever gaining flight like normal angels or demons; his left eye, which was blue unlike the amber right one, was completely blind. Due to the weakness of his body as well as the awkwardness of his birth, he spent his childhood mostly indoors, watching through the windows with endless rage and jealousy as the angels sore across the sky. After his mother’s death it seemed he would spend the rest of his life alone and meaningless. His world was changed however when he discovered his talent in magic, most notably his familiarity with elements of Fire and Darkness. He mastered his powers quickly and ran out of the estate to join the Sky Guardians, the only place among the floating islands that would not judge him for his birth, but value him only for his capabilities. He rose through the ranks with fanatical zeal, using all the talents, connections, resources he had available, leaving behind a trail of scorched corpses of both Pirates and fellow Sky guardians, and reached the post of commander at the young age of 23. But his eye was looking at somewhere even higher. He would not stop until all of the floating islands tremble beneath his black wings.

Yukio Takamiya
((Apologies. It's a little short.)) The tremors started with a gentle tremble of the island. One so light that nobody noticed it at all. This happened over the week before getting stronger by the days. The magical tide had been disturbed and the people only noticed it when it was too late. Just like every other day, the island was moving but this time violent tremors was included. Over the next few days, it started moving towards another island. Pandemonium arose. The inhabitants of the island panicked and scurried about. This had never happened before. Islands were supposed to glide past each other, not collide. The people watched in fear as they slowly moved towards their doom. Cadis was as usual in his room reading a scroll when the violent tremors shook the palace. This spurred him to leave the confines of his quarters to see what was going on. As he walked, the tremors constantly shook him off balance and tiny rocks from the ceiling attacked his head. Cursing, he jumped out of the nearest window and spread his wings. What he saw then, made his brows point downwards. The situation was incredibly grave. As he flew around to survey the city, he soon found himself beside his father and brother. "Why aren't you doing anything to stop this?!" He shouted above the noise to his father. The king kept quiet and continued to watch his people run about. There were many who couldn't fly. This was common for the 'Angel' race. It was probably to differentiate between status but commoners didn't have wings and nobles did, royalty had the largest of wings. The king finally sighed and turned to look at Cadis whom he had always been ashamed to call his son. "Use your brain boy," he snapped. "This concerns the magical tide. No one can do anything about it." Cadis pursed his lips and dropped down towards land ignoring the calls of his father. Magical tide or not, the least they could do was try to minimise the number of casualties.
AmaryllisRose
Skyler cursed as he fell down. Again. Why did the wind hate him so much?! He took a deep breath, and concentrated on the air surrounding him. He felt himself lift up. He guided the air to the left, and slowly floated to the left. Concentrating even harder, he made himself float parallel to the ground before accelerating, and with a burst of speed, he shot through the air. And then crashed into a tree. "Urgh!!! Stupid trees!!!" He shot a glare at the tree trunk before him, rubbing his head gingerly. He heard a giggle from above. Raising his head, he saw a small woodland pixie sitting on a tree branch, laughing at his attempt. It flapped its wings, as if mocking him, and flew away swiftly. The elf narrowed his eyes, and swore he would master flying. Even without wings. He lifted himself in the air again, intent on being successful, at least once. "Prince Skyler!" A voice like the tinkling of a wind chime suddenly called out to Skyler. "Ackkk!!!" The concentration left him at once. Startled, he whipped his head around to see who had called to him. A lovely young maiden with glimmering amber eyes smiled at him. "Your presence is requested at the palace!" Eh, so annoying... Why did I have to be summoned now?! It was still early in the morning, long before the forest woke up and got all noisy. "Fine." Sighing, he turned and smashed one of the many red, glowing stones he kept in a pouch at his side. He disappeared, and reappeared at the palace with a flash of crimson light. Walking to the throne room, he opened the door to see all of his brothers and sisters gathered there. Kneeling, he greeted the king. "Father." "Rise." The ruler's voice boomed through the room. "Thank you, Father." Skyler lifted his head and strode over to take his place among his siblings. Sighing, the king began to speak. "The magic tide has been disturbed. We do not know the cau—" A tremble shook the palace. Everyone froze. The building trembled once more, an even stronger vibration this time. "And that would be the disturbance of the magic tide." The king finished with another sigh, brain firing on all cylinders. He didn't know how the hell he was to get the situation under control. Skyler floated several inches above the ground, unaffected by the frequent pulses that shook the palace to its core. "I wonder what it's like outside?" He said, unconcerned. Floating to the window, he peered outside. Ugh, why is floating so easy but flying so hard?! "Oh... well, we should probably go out and help the citizens, Father. They are extremely panicked right now." *Crack* A clear, resounding cracking sound could be heard. "The Ignes!" A horrified cry came from outside of the throne room. The heavy doors were thrown open, and a trembling servant stumbled in. "Your Majesty, the Ignes has been shattered!" A collective gasp could be heard throughout the room. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
hal7283
Several sky ships broke out of a chunk of thick clouds. Each ships had the flags of the Sky Guardians on their main mast. They sored across the sky nimbly then gradually slowed down, as if waiting for something. Then the next moment something huge broke through the cloud, tearing it apart as it slowly sailed forward, catching up with the smaller escorts. Everything about the vessel, from its colossal size to the lavish decorations, the figurehead at the prow which resembled a flaming phoenix, and more importantly the countless gun holes on its broadsides, all screamed the power and authority of the Sky Guardian fleet to all onlookers. Indeed the sight of such battleships alone could crush the heart of rebellion in people, well, most people. On board this battle ship Phoenix, all the officers on board were called to the room of the captain, among them was the ship's second in command, Agnir Amsel. Judging from past experience Agnir knew something big was about to happen. They waited for a short while until the door was opened, and the captain of the ship entered. "At ease." the captain said casually. The captain: Sigar Franco was well in his fifties, and have spent most of his life time serving the Sky Guardian fleet. A well seasoned veteran he had fought through countless battles which left countless scars all over his body. That being said his massive, muscular body showed no sign of detrition or age, likely a benefit from the giant blood which ran through his family line. Bold, strong, intelligent and well experienced, he was the perfect Sky Guardian captain. Of course, he's not without his flaws, something Agnir had exploited happily to his advantage. The captain got behind his desk and sat on the chair. Looking around the room he said: "Looks like everyone is here." "Where's Rahk" One of the officers asked. "He's on a separate mission. Now let's begin." The captain answered, and leaned forward. The mention of Rahk's name made Agnir frown slightly. Sir Rahk Gyen art Clemenzen, the leader of the infiltration unit of Phoenix and also one of the so called "Ascended humans." He's one of the very few people Agnir couldn't quite get a hold of, and the fact that he was a powerful and capable fighter only made Agnir more cautious of him. To be frank he wasn't sure if Rahk not being aboard thus out of his sight made him more or less uneasy. His attention was soon dragged back to reality by what the captain said however, that the islands of Silva and Siria had collided. Being sailors of the sky the crew of the sky ship had felt the disturbance in the magical currents closer than anyone else, so they expected some catastrophe was bound to happen, but never did they expected something as big as this. The captain continued: "We've received orders from the Sky Guardian high council, and they've ordered us to sail to Silva and Siria, to provide disaster relief. After all it's the duty of the Sky Guardians to uphold order and protect the livelihoods of the people." The captain paused for a moment, and Agnir could see the devious smile on his, as well as all of the other officers' face. They've heard the "official mission", but what's the "real mission"? "Now we've got the formal shit out of the way, let's get down to real business." The captain said with a big grin: "As you know the Elves and Angels were quite big pains in our butt, both having strong militaries of their own they don't make our jobs easy. Especially the angels! They really arrogant bastards!" The captain turned to look at Agnir, knowing him being half angel he said quickly: "No offense." "None taken" Agnir smiled. If anything he shared the captain's sentiment. "But now their islands have smashed into each other and are in a huge mess, it's the perfect opportunity for us to intervene and expand our influence into the two courts. Of course I'm not talking about just giving poor people blankets and soup, no! I'm talking about power! A great gesture of Power! So they'd finally realize only we! The great Sky Guardians! Can maintain order and peace for them! And that's where our friend Rahk come into the picture." Agnir listened with great focus at what the captain said next: "I've sent him to infiltrate the Pirates, find a suitable candidate to guide them towards the Elves and Angels. When the time is right they'll attack, striking a crippling blow against them, and we will become their savior!" The officers began to talk among themselves, clearly excited by the captain's plan. Teaching the arrogant Elves and Angels a lesson while kicking some pirate butt, what else can a sky guardian hope for? The captain raised his hand and the room got quiet again. The smile had disappeared from his face: "Return to your stations and make sure the ship and the crew are battle ready. Remember, there's no honor in death, especially death due to carelessness. Dismissed." The officers saluted the captain and left the room. Agnir stayed behind however and waited until there's only he and the captain. The captain looked at Agnir with a smile: "What's the matter Agnir? You don't seem as excited as the rest of them." Agnir walked around the desk and stood beside the captain, and said: "I'm excited. But I simply prefer you talk about the plan with me before you send Rahk off. After all I am your second in command." "Ha ha! Sorry about that. But time was of the essence, I needed to act as soon as possible." The captain smiled as he took Agnir's hand, and pulled him slowly towards himself. "I promise I'll talk it over with you next time, okay?" "Yes captain." Agnir replied. He could almost feel the captain's breath on his face. "Come here.... my little black bird." The captain whispered before covering Agnir's lips with his own. Hours later Agnir emerged from the captain's room. He pulled on his clothes a few times to make sure they look flat and tidy. He then walked down the decks towards the quaters of the mages on the ship, checking upon their status and make sure they were battle ready. He had a feeling his opportunity for a "promotion" was approaching quickly. And preparations must be made.
AlphaZero
Phoenix: Main Deck [5:05 A.M] The sun rose over the horizon, eliminating the darkness of the night. Crimson orbs blankly peered into the world beyond the glass of their ever-intimidating battleship, both his hands lightly caressing the sharpened blades hanging at his hips, cautious and ready for any situation that may arise. Even breaths rose and fell with the beat of time. From the corner of his eye, the male began to admire the elegant and slender figure that he held so much loyalty for, something that he does very, very often. His admiration extended far and beyond that of physical attraction, something that no one else understood and misunderstood so very often. Agnir Amsel was his everything. He was his reason for living, and his reason for fighting. He did his best to adjust to every change in commander's mood, as well as for his every whim. He'd suffer through any and every kind of pain if it was for his commander, and overcome them just for him as well. For him, it was anything and everything. There were occasions in which the secondhand man had nightmares of this man's absence, of his leaving, and even of his death. Astaroth Xiuhcoatl feared nothing but one thing--losing him. If his commander left...he was sure he'd die well after. If there was any other person that was able to make him feel this way, he’d love to see that happen. Though he doubted it. Time and time again, he was reminded of the extent of his loyalty for this man. Even if they couldn’t find heaven, he’d walk through hell with this man, for being with him was his happiness. Throughout the chaos that befell the residents of the ship because of the captain's summon to his quarters, the white-haired stayed aloof and still, and moved only when he felt the sudden twitch of his commander's movements. Astaroth trailed just a foot behind as they walked, his crimson eyes’ only desired view was that of his commander’s strong form, while everyone else’s was of little concern. Phoenix: Captain’s Quarters [5:25 A.M] Throughout the majority of the first half of the meeting, Astaroth had completely tuned out everything that their captain had to say; it was a natural reaction due to the fact that he was someone else other than his commander. In short, he could care less. He faintly grimaced however, the captain’s mere presence leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. He hated the feeling. Without consciously choosing to, Astaroth’s eyes traced each curve of his commander’s perfect figure, latching onto flickers of light on glossy, silver locks; long, nimble fingers; thin, delicate lips. A shiver traversed the boy’s spine; it was as if his commander’s beauty was granted upon him by some powerful deity. Astaroth’s unparalleled vision had located a single hole in the fabric of his commander’s garment, located just below the man’s left hip. With an almost heartbroken face, Astaroth walked to the commander’s side, kneeled down, and pulled out a needle and a spool of black thread from some unseeable compartment in his thin, black clothes, and set to mending the cloth immediately. He was oblivious to the stares that attempted to burn holes into his skin. He worked meticulously, and his eyes never moved. Each stitch placed itself no farther than half a millimeter from its siblings, nor did any vary in length, width, angle, or pattern. They were all flawless, befitting the commander himself. Astaroth flashed his brilliant, white teeth for a tenth of a second as he tied the off the stitches and cut the loose thread. Satisfied with his work, Astaroth stood, allowing the sun seeping through the windows to bathe his full figure in a white, elegant glow. The flirtatious exchange between his commander and the captain put him in a bad mood as fast as he was put in a good mood. Nevertheless, it was to be expected, and although Astaroth had a clear disliking for the captain, it was also to be accepted, for it was his commander’s desire. Astaroth raised an eyebrow sharply at the words the captain said, a look of annoyance gracing his visage. And when everyone had began exit the vicinity, Astaroth forced himself to do the same, knowing fully well that his presence wasn’t wanted at this point in time. With a barely noticeable sigh and small, saddened twitch of his mouth, Astaroth allowed himself one last look at his commander’s back before pulling the door close. The insufferable noises that soon filled the room disgusted to him to no end. As much as he felt guilty for thinking such thoughts about his commander’s actions, it couldn’t have been helped, for he couldn’t control his emotions when it came to things involving him. Though he could have stood his ground and handled the noises until they ceased while waiting for his commander to emerge from the room disheveled and smelling like earthly remains, like he’d always done, Astaroth left, in search of some much needed fresh air and a place to just...be. As his light footsteps continued across the hallway, he began to wonder if Sir Rahk was completing his mission like he was supposed to, or wreaking unnecessary havoc because it pleased him. He kind of wished that Sir Rahk would be back soon, weird as that may sound. A delicate finger tapped the finger print scanner, and the doorway to the outside opened just a millisecond later. Astaroth reveled in the cold wind as it rushed past him, ruffling his soft, glossy hair in the process, making him the embodiment of beauty. InkompleteWish
Morrowwind. The name of the pirate ship currently sailing in the sea of clouds. It was a rather large ship, looking like your usual vessel. The only difference was the flag gracing it. Pirates. Loved by a few but hated by many. At least if you believed the noblemen speaking ill of them. Stealing from the rich and hoarding their treasure. Obviously not the truth to commoners. Though it was true that they raided nobles and rich looking vessels, they didn’t keep most of the treasures for themselves. Only the real greedy do that. The Morrowind wasn’t one of them. Their captain, RedEye, might be a bit greedy but due to his second in command, Ethan Carter, he was as generous as he allowed himself to be. Though RedEye, was the captain, most ideas and actions were issued by the First Mate. A mere human, unusual to see ordering anyone around but Ethan fought for it and came out as victor. It’s been years now since he joined the crew and he steadily worked himself up the ladder. The Morrowind crew sole from the rich and gave the poor. And just like every day, they were setting out to a new voyage. But there were rumours.. “Captain. There has been incident with the Elves and the Angels. It seems like their islands are colliding. If we play it well we might be able to get something nice of the whole fiasco. Shall I send a few spies to get Intel?” Ethan asked his captain, both looking over the waterless ocean ahead of them. The crew was scurrying around the deck, fulfilling the jobs the First Mate gave them. Their last raid has been a few weeks ago and the men were starting to get tipsy. More often than not did Ethan find himself breaking up fistfights on the ship. They also had to stop for supplies soon. So dispatching a few spies in the next town wouldn’t arise to much suspicion if they bought supplies. His captain answered in a gruff voice “Yes. Do what you must Carter.” and turned around, heading back to his quarters. RedEye wasn’t a man of much words and sometimes Ethan had a problem to figure out how he thinks. It was a bit…weird that he trusted a human so much. RedEye was a demon, through and through. He looked just like the stories his mother always told him. But yet, he was quite normal to be around with. He doesn’t take bullshit and probably will pop your head if you get on his nerves too long. But he knows what he wants and that is probably revenge. Just like everyone on this ship. Ethan left the captain to his devices and left to steer the ship into the direction of the next town. According to his knowledge it should be “Maroon” in the eastern clouds on a small island. They might be playing with fire, but every chance to get a normal life for commoners was a good risk to take. Tetsu
||Phoenix: Captain's Quarters - 10:00 P.M.|| If there was one thing Rahk had been wanting all these time, it was simply to be summoned inside the Captain's quarters. No, it wasn't some sexual activity he sought after even though it was weird to be called so late in the night. He's not into some old bag of bones, although the metaphor didn't fit quite well with that beast of a man. Rahk liked them young - both unripe and untouched. He could go on and on with his preferences but that's besides the point. "Rahk..," the Captain said with his body turned back, gazing over the sea of stars that engulfed the infinity of the skies. "Yes, Cap?", the chestnut haired male asked. "I have a mission for you. Can you do it?" "There's no such thing as 'no' in my vocabulary. I'll do whatever mission you ask me to do as long as it satisfy me. Otherwise..." Rahk paused, clenching his hands while his eyes sent death glare towards the captain's back. "Otherwise...? What." "Nothing Cap. What's the mission?", Rahk's relaxed his hands and his eyes reverted to its former form. "You are to infiltrate the pirate ship 'Morrowwind'. That little fucker has been going around stealing goods and hi-jacking ships for quite a while now. Not only that, they've been giving goods and money to the poor and these little idiots seems to think of them as some sort of heroes. Seriously, the council wants the whole ship eradicated as well as their believers. This is an undisclosed request from the council. Failure is not an option." "Yes, Cap. Is that all?" "Well, that's what the council wants but here's what you're actually going to do.", the captain said while he turned around to face him, "Infiltrate the Pirates and lead them towards the angels and elves. You are going to start a war. That's all." Rahk didn't say anything else. When the captain dismissed him, the chestnut haired knight laughed hysterically, just like a howling wolf before hunting its prey. When he finished packing up things he might need, Rahk set forth for the mission in the middle of the night. "When one cannot destroy an iron fortress from the outside, then destroy it from the inside.", Rahk amusingly said. - - - - ||Morrowwind: Main Deck - 10:00 A.M.|| "So... you're saying you want to join this ship? It's not like we don't accept new recruits. it's just that... you know, you don't look fit enough to do pirate stuff.", a crewmate said, observing the male that stood before him. This male was about the opposite of 'pirate'. He had thin build and he wore glasses which made him look like a nerd than a promising pirate. Yet, the male's eyes didn't show any discourage and continued to beg to be let in. He promised to do whatever the pirates wanted as long as they let him join. Because of the commotion going on, more and more pirates gathered in the main deck, surrounding the nerd guy that was begging to be let in. Other people thought he was an idiot. So much for his dream to be a pirate, one wrong move could cost him his life. Well, some other praised for his determination which didn't falter all these time. One of them was the captain of the ship - RedEye. "You say you want to join my crew. But what is it that makes you want to join? Do you realize that you are putting yourself in danger just by involving yourself in this kind of business?", RedEye asked. "I... I'll do whatever you want. I'll kill anyone. I'll be your bitch but please let me join! I need to take revenge who took my family away!... They... they killed them!!", the male shouted and the outpour of emotion had his tear flow over his cheeks. "Even if I let you join, just what can you do? You're just a powerless human being. To simply put it, you're just a sheep running into wolves' territory." "I... I can give you intel. I can do that much. I have a really wide network of connections so I know most of the things going on in this area. Of course, if you hire me I'll do what I can to be of use to you... So please..." RedEye wasn't sure what to do. The male was really persistent. He could say no and make this guy leave but it's also true that the ship was lacking outside information especially from the side of the Sky Guardians. Not knowing what to do, RedEye turned his eyes to the one who just arrived. Well, considering that this person do most of the decision making in the ship, perhaps it's better to leave this one to him. "So, what do you think, Ethan?" Yukio Takamiya
Pandemonium. That was the term to describe everything thay was happening at the moment. Cadis, try as he might couldn't save his people, especially since no place was safe with the tremors. He spread his wings and flew up high again, looking around for anything. Anything which could be of any use. However, what he saw made Cadis lose all hope. The island was heading straight towards the Elves, the Angel's biggest nemesis. The screws in his head started to turn. Both sides would no doubt suffer irreparable losses since no one could go against the magical tide. It was far too late to investigate what disturbed the tide and find a solution to stop the collision. So the first point would be that the collision was inevitable. What Cadis had to consider was the events after the collision. The two islands would be connected once they collided and the tremors stopped, that much he coud predict. But the Angels and Elves couldn't get along, yet they had to survive together, that was his biggest worry. Cadis ran his fingers through his silver locks with a sigh, once again swooping down towards land. Perhaps getting his people to an open space without falling debris was the only thing he could do now. AmaryllisRose
Skyler took his pouch that held the red, glowing crystals. Pouring a few into his palm, he saw that the crystals' red glow had started fading. Some of the crystals had already turned clear, devoid of any magical charge. Well, I guess I can't use these to teleport anymore, huh? Racing out of the throne room, he quickly ran to where the Ignes was located, outside in the heavily protected royal garden. If he could manage to absorb and harness some of the leaking magic from the stone, his fire wielding abilities would be greatly, and usefully improved. He sped to the garden, looped through the maze, and arrived at the gargantuan crystal. It was in pieces. The largest intact piece was only the size of a small boulder. A steady stream of crimson tinted energy flowed out from the shards up into the sky, and supposedly, the magic tide. The light haired male could feel the energy. It was strong and scorching. Befitting the element of fire. He reached out and touched the largest crystal. Ugh... The pure, concentrated energy was overwhelming. "Nngh..." Skyler broke into a sweat as the raw power suddenly merged with his own. He siphoned away as much as he could before severing the connection and collapsing, breathing heavily. But he could feel the effect of the new power coursing through him. His body temperature felt a little warmer now, and his eyes occasionally flashed a brilliant red. The ground trembled, and the shaking grew increasingly violent. Sighing, he called upon his limited power over wind and sluggishly floated up high into the sky. If only it had been the crystal Aeris that had shattered... he would be able to fly then. He wondered if the other crystals were still wholly intact. Drifting up higher, he looked down from the dizzying height, surveying the event. The wind whipped his hair around his face, in a fan of glinting platinum strands. Skyler stared down at the chaos occurring beneath him. He was calculating the benefits of going down and helping, or just staying up, and importantly, out of the turmoil. Nah, helping is too troublesome. He stood, suspended in the air, wondering what was to come. A strong gust of wind pushed Skyler forward without warning. Augh!!! That was when he saw it. The Angels' island was being pushed by some unseen force right into the Elves' island. At the same time, a forceful wind sent him tumbling down to the ground. @#*@&!!!! Seeing as he was falling from such a height at such a speed, he had no hope in his practically nonexistent control over Wind. Hopefully I don't die... hal7283
Agnir walked up to the deck, nodding to several sailors who saluted him along the way. He rather liked this time of the day, but not because the sunrise gives people hope or any kind of those merry nonsense. He liked it due to the fact that people were usually at their most vulnerable at this time of day, being fast asleep or barely awake, the prefect time to cast a curse of simply just push a knife through their chest. He took a deep breath, letting the cold morning air sink fill up his lungs and spread throughout his body. He looked around the deck, and it seemed the officers have already spread the captain's order around. Not knowing the "true" mission the crewmen all thought they were simply going for disaster relief, and he could feel an almost "casual" atmosphere among the crew. Then Agnir noticed Astaroth standing near the edge of the deck. Being the second in command of the battle ship Agnir often had to help coordinate the whole ship, thus had to divert his attention away from the mages and casters of the ship. In those circumstances he would rely on Astaroth to keep the magic users in line, and he had certainly done a good job so far, plus demonstrated astonishing loyalty to him personally. Fear, profit, ambitions, greed and desire, these are the things that Agnir understood, and these are the things he used to manipulate, to control those around him. But Astaroth was different. He couldn't think of any reason why would the half human, half demon devote so much to him. It's frankly baffling, sometimes even scary for him, not understanding where did all these devotion came from. Perhaps there's a deeper plot hidden somewhere? If so this mission would certainly be a good opportunity to see. "Astaroth, there you are." Agnir said casually as he approached the half demon, standing beside him and looked over the sea of clouds in front of them. He leaned forward slightly on the railings and tilted his head to look at Astaroth: "I wanted to discuss the shifts of the mages for this mission, like maybe we could give the new guy, what's his name again... Rantark? Yeah, that's the guy. Maybe we can make him take charge of the shields around the bridge? I know he's a bit inexperienced but what better way to get experience than real combat? What do you think?"
InkompleteWish
[ship „Morrowwind“] – 7:00 AM They finally docked at the town and almost as soon as the crew had access to the land the scurried off of the ship and went their own ways. Most went to the local tavern to get some alcohol. Ethan usually grabbed the people responsible for maintenance on the ship, for example the cook or doctor, and send them out to get the needed items for their next journey. They could buy new stuff but First Mate rather had all necessary items on board. While the crew went on and about, Ethan himself went over the items he might need. The spies he talked about had already been chosen and would hopefully leave the island with a ship sailing to the elf and angel kingdom. So after checking for his own stuff, he was called on deck by one of his crew members. A lot of time must have gone past already and with a glance at the clock it showed it was 10 AM. “Sir, something needs your attention. A new guy wants to join.” the other male spoke and pointed with his thumb towards the door. Thankfully the crew rarely fell into the usual “pirate slang” so it was easier even for outsiders to understand them. “Sure. I’ll be up in a min. “ he answered absently while collecting his trusted sword and pistol. You never know who you could meet nowadays so Ethan rarely run around without a weapon. Not even 10 minutes later and he arrived to the end of the conversation. He heard the gist of it. So this guy would be able to provide them with Intel…..well they also had their spies already on the case but even more information wouldn’t be bad. Just like they, the Sky Guardians were rather privy people and they were missing important information’s about their next moves and whatnot. But that also meant taking risks. They didn’t know this stranger and he might as well be lying to them. If this would only concern him he would decline but with the probability of an upcoming war the commoners needed even more help from the pirates. “You may join but do know that all eyes on this ship will be trained on you and everyone has a weapon here.” he spoke, alerting the others of the crew to watch the new guy, as well as informing the other of the hard life that will be in store for him. Just to be sure, Ethan decided to be extra careful when discussing the next plans with RedEye. And even if something occurred, they could always throw the stranger overboard. “Follow me; I’ll have to see what information you are offering.” Ethan spoke brusquely and turned around, heading for the captains quarters. RedEye was in the back, following too. Let’s see if they can find out what the Sky Guardians are doing at the moment.
