Kai grumbled, he really wanted show these trainees what the difference is between movable targets and no-movable targets. But he remained silent as he let Yuu do his job. He was an outsider anyway. Kai felt Yuu move closer to him. Most of the trainees seemed to think nothing of it. But he could tell that the three 'favorites', Kai's new nickname for them, knew exactly what was going on. Kai watched as the trainees got the room ready once more for another session. But then Yuu called out that they would go to lunch, and he soon watched as they all left. When he turned back to Yuu, he was surprised to receive a kiss from the younger male and then thanks. Kai smiled. "It gives me something to do. But I'll help with anything when it comes to you." Kai wasn't satisfied with the kiss he got. So he wrapped an arm around Yuu's waist, very gently pulling him closer as his other hand held his chin, lifting his face up. Kai kissed him deeper, a kiss they hadn't shared since the last night they shared together in bed.

Yuu was all too glad to hear that Kai wanted to help though it did almost sound like the teen was forcing him to do this. The young general felt himself be pulled closer and he was kissed deeply. It was welcomed but at the same time Yuu he to stop him because too much pressure was on his right arm that was squished between them and Yuu was also exhausted already. "I'm sorry about this," It was all he could say before his legs gave out. The teen grabbed onto Kai as his legs gave out and Yuu asked to help him sit against the wall. "I do want to kiss you more, I do but I have to sit down, the thing on my leg just makes me use different muscles that can't take this much." Yuu growled in pain feeling all of his wounds were in bad shape. He really needed to spend lunch in the medical wing. "I don't want anyone else to see me this weak... It's only been half a day... I still have another half after this..."

Kai's kiss lasted only a few seconds before Yuu had too push away. Kai felt regretted when he did, not realizing he was just trying to release some pain. Kai heard the other apologize before he collapsed against him. Kai caught Yuu as he held on to him with very little strength. Kai hated seeing Yuu like this. He wished there was more he could do. Slowly Kai helped Yuu over to the wall and helped him slide down to sit against it. Kai kissed Yuu's head. "Please, don't force yourself. I'm being too selfish, wanting to touch you more when your in so much pain." Kai looked down at the ground and listened to Yuu speak. Then he came up with an idea. "Yuu...I'm not perfect with and to hand combat. But I can use such weapons and get by. Let me train the kids in your place." He could already see the 'no' coming from Yuu, but before he could say anything Kai continued. "It's the least I can do to thank the medic, and for Hugo helping me out earlier. And I want you heal faster. Doing this isn't going to help that." He stared into Yuu's eyes, he was pretty determined to do this for him. "Please, Yuu."

Yuu stopped and listened to what Kai had to say and it made sense but also, it couldn't happen. "I'm sorry Kai, I want to say yes but I can't. As a general, it is my duty to see to their training. Believe me, I trust you but if I opt out of this just because I'm hurt, I'll have to deal with the admiral and he will make sure I have a reason to stay in bed. As much as I hate it, I can't get away." Yuu hated shutting Kai down like this but that was the reality. If he was found resting in bed, the admiral would lock Yuu up and torture him until he couldn't move.

"The he'll about the admiral!" Kai fell silent, growling for a moment as he scratched hthe back of his head.he looked back at Yuu and held his cheek. "Then at least use a wheelchair when you must. These guys are military too, right? That means they are understanding to you being injured. They will still have respect for you even then." He smiled at Yuu. "They may even have more respect if they see how injured and determined you are to train them." He waited for Yuu to understand that no one is expecting him to be some powering general when he could barely stand. Kai leaned forward and kisse Yuu's forehead. He wanted to kiss the other more, but he wouldn't force Yuu at all.

"Look, I know this is rough but I have to stick it out. If I don't, I don't know what will happen. Besides, I'm just happy they didn't send me on the mission instead because now I can continue to spend time with you." Yuu smiled trying to get Kai to understand that this was just how they operated. There was nothing he could do and if he slacked off then everyone else would think that was ok and then there would be a huge mess on their hands. "I can show my weakness to the older military officers because they understand but these guys are still young so I can't." Yuu looked sad about it too but he couldn't change how things worked, still he should get up and have lunch as well, so he could have as much strength as possible.

"What on earth am I going to do with you." Kai shook his head with a smile. There really was no arguing with Yuu. What he said and did was followed through one hundred percent. Kai lifted his other hand and placed it on Yuu's other cheek. He looked at Yuu with so much respect, with so much...love. Kai opened his mouth to tell him, but closed it. 'No, it can wait.' He thought to himself. Instead he gave Yuu another kiss, this one sweet. It didn't last too long, just in case someone came back in already done eating. Kai stood up, holding out his right hand. "Come on, you need to eat lunch too." Kai decided from now on he'd stay quiet where he needed to. If Yuu was determined to do something, so long as it didn't put his life at risk, he was willing to just follow him. To support him from behind. That's what he was there for, for Yuu's pillar of support.

Yuu reached up with his left hand and pulled himself up with Kai's help. "The only problem now is that Sector F is so far away!" He smiled even though the sectors really weren't that far apart. The two sectors, F and C only had sector A between them. B and D were between F and G and E was the sector Right in the center behind A. A was where you entered from the front and going right would lead you to E which actually lead to nothing but confusion, going left from A lead to C and straight to go to F. F and C were next to each other but not directly connected From F you go straight into B which lead straight to D which lead straight to G. Over all it was basically just a mess of Sectors and halls like someone drunk labeled them.

Yuu leaned on Kai almost the entire way to the food court only stopping a bit before hand so he could walk on his own without the trainees seeing him. He ordered enough food to fill him but not too much that he'd be too stuffed to move around.

Kai helped Yuu stand up and offered his entire body to help Yuu walk. He held Yuu around the waist very gently so that not all his weight was pulling him down against gravity. By the time they made it close enough to the cafeteria, Yuu had Kai stop for a moment. He managed to lift himself off of Kai and walked himself through the doors. Kai knew just how strong he wanted to be in front of the trainees, but it still hurt to watch him in such a way. When Yuu ordered food for himself, Kai nearly asked for one of the apples he found. He always enjoyed having a nice crisp apple to munch on. When Yuu's tray arrived, Kai stuffed the apple in his mouth and held it by his teeth as he took Yuu's tray for him. Then he turned and waited for Yuu to figure out where he wanted to sit before going to that table.

"Kai, I can carry my own tray," He laughed. Yuu walked and found a nice quiet place to sit somewhat apart from all the trainees. He sat down and took a break as Kai placed the food in front of him. Yuu wasn't too stubborn about carrying his own tray so he didn't stress that he take it himself. The teen ate using his left arm without any problems. He was pretty hungry and devoured the meal rather quickly. "You should have more then just an apple," he said slightly judging Kai for choosing something so small.

Kai shook his head, unable to speak, when Yuu mentioned he could carry his own tray. Luckily Kai didn't have to fight with him to be able to carry it. He followed Yuu over to a table, which he noticed was further away from the trainees and sat down. Kai set the tray in fornt of him before taking his own seat right next to him. Kai took the apple from his mouth, licking at the saliva that dripped down his cheek from being able to swallow. He munched on the apple when Yuu told him he should eat more. "I had a bigger breakfast this morning. And I promise I'll eat a bigger dinner tonight." He took another bite and spoke with a chunk of apple in his mouth. "And apple is fine for now, just to hold me over."

"Alright, you did just wake up after all." He smirked at this since he was the one who caused him to stay in bed, though for granted, Kai did put it on himself by staying up so late. Yuu then began running through his game plan in his head wondering if this was enough to last the three days. He'd probably have them run an obstacle course on the last day to be able to move with their own weapon. Most people started with a gun but he never did and the earlier you start with the weapon you'll be spending the most time with, the better off you were and the better you would be at your chosen weapon. Still, it was a 50/50 if the admiral thought it was a good idea or not. Yuu would either be praised or punished depending on if he liked it. Still, this was a risk the young general was willing to take.

"I hate sleeping in so muck." Kai sighed. He was an earlier riser type of person. Even if he didn't get any sleep the night prior. Kai laid himself against the table stretching one arm out, since the other one held his apple still. He looked over the cafeteria while he ate. When he finished he looked back at Yuu, who had fallen silent this time. "So, what do you have planned for the next three days? Am I going to be doing some training with the trainees?" He sat up then, deciding that position was starting to get uncomfortable. He noticed a trash can behind their table and he tossed the apple core in. It went in without hitting the sides or bouncing out.

"Ya, today and tomorrow I need you to help me train them in using their weapons since I'm no good with long range guns. On the third day I'm going to have them doing drills and run an obstacle course to get use to moving around with the weapons since a lot of missions like the one with you, require them to move into building swiftly and still be able to stay in formation and everything." Yuu thought for another minute looking up at the ceiling. "I might have them spar a bit tomorrow so they can get use to using it in combat." He was running through the plan in his head and imagining it at the same time.

Kai smiled at Yuu as he thought and looked up at the ceiling. "Sounds good to me." He was no general, not even a military man, but he could tell why Yuu had his rank. He was glad to call Yuu his friend. Kai looked at the table in thought. Kai no longer saw Yuu as just a friend. He wouldn't pull him into bed, kiss him or do half the things he does with Yuu as he would a friend. He needed to tell Yuu how he felt. But he just couldn't manage the words, at least for now he'd wait. He just hoped he didn't wait too long. He would have to do it, or at least he felt he had to do it, before Yuu lost his memories from this life. If he forgot about him after that would be fine. But he wouldn't be able to tell Yuu his feelings after he forgot about everything.

Yuu looked down again and then turned to look at the clock. It was almost time for everyone to start heading back. The teen stood up. "I have to leave now or I won't make it back before them," he admitted and turned to take his tray. He cleared it and put it where he needed to before walking out the door probably with Kai. They got so far before Yuu had to lean on Kai a lot while walking. He wanted as much pressure off his leg as he could get in hopes to last a little longer where it was needed.

They had almost made it when one of the grunts who'd just graduated the year before came and stopped the two. "A General needing help to walk? You don't even look that hurt. What a weak-" Just then Yuu cut the man off, letting go of Kai, drawing his sword, and swinging it only to stop half an inch from the man's neck. Yuu had a cold look that sent a shiver down the man's spine and he backed off. "S-Sorry," He managed before sprinting off. The teen sighed and sheathed his sword and leaned on Kai again so they could get back quickly.

Kai watched for a moment as Yuu stood up, taking his tray and putting it away himself. Kai trotted up to him then so that he could walk with Yuu back to the training room. He was proud of Yuu to had made it as far as he did with out needing help to walk. When Yuu decided he couldn't on his own anymore, Kai ran fingers through his hair as he helped him. He was really proud of Yuu. Then a man walked up to him, completely bashing on Yuu and how he needed help walking. Kai was about to say something, but before he could Yuu was already swinging his sword at the other. Kai wtched behind him as the other ran off. When Yuu leaned back against Kai, he chuckled. "Remind me never to get you pissed at me." They continued down the corridor until they reached the training area once more.

"I got the job of general for more then just being able to deal with trainees, of course," He snickered. Yuu made it to where he needed and stood in the center of the gathering area. He didn't have to wait long for the trainees to show up and they all gathered and lined up. "Alright everyone, Split into two groups. Those with long range weapons go with Kai. Those with close range come with me." Yuu, being no good at long range, at least familiarized himself with all close range weapons so he knew how they worked and how to defend against them which gave him the advantage here. The trainees split, 25 with Kai and 15 with Yuu. Some of them clearly still didn't understand that a close range weapon could be just as useful as a long range one.

Kai stood beside Yuu as he spoke to the trainees. Kai watched as they split up into two groups. He didn't expect to have the most of the groups. He looked over at Yuu and shrugged before heading over to the targets they had set up prior to lunch. They stood in a circle around him, Kai standing in the middle. "Alright, so your standing here becuase you want to use guns, huh?" He circled around. "I'll tell you right now, they aren't as easy as people make them out to be." Kai circled around once more. He didn't think he'd ever end up in a military base, training there own people. "Tell me, what type of gun are you looking to use?" Kai pointed at a random trainee. "Uh, um, a rifle." Kai pointed at another. "Sniper!" Then another "Machine gun." Kai went around the circle asking each trainee until they all told him what they were looking for. After that he brought the group to the room where he had grabbed his gun before.

Yuu started by drawing his sword and flipping it upside down. "Now, for those of you with blunt objects, it's going to be tough but I think you guys can handle it. If you build up your strength while keeping your flexibility, then you will be able to deal swift, powerful blows without wasting extra time swinging from a farther distance." He drew his sword way back before pulling it forward like he was swinging a club. "You guys want to be able to do damage without opening yourselves up to attack. Those of you with blades of sorts, you have to find your style. If you don't want to get too close get a longer blade but do not extend your arms, they'll be cut off. You guys also want to be able to deal swift and accurate blows since all of you will be in close range. Because of this, your greatest strength is foot work. You need to be able to move out of the way. Your power, it comes from the hips, not your arms. Bare that in mind." Yuu showed different ways to swing the weapons of their choice all while changing how he held his sword.

By now all the trainees had picked out there guns. In order to see if the gun was even possible for the trainees to use, Kai had the group head to the targets. "Alright, so I've got a couple different gunshot here. So let me see." Kai started rearranging the group. 5 here, 3 there, 6 next over. It was all so he could put them in groups of specific guns. "You three, your guns are to heavy for you to carry and shoot, it has a terrible backfire, so the only way to hold strong is by Placing it on the ground. Rest it against your shoulder, not too high not too low. Aim and....fire." The guns shot, hitting their targets. Neither of the trainees were thrown off balance because of what Kai suggested. In turn he did it to each group of trainees. Some however he had to help them look for a better gun. They showed true marksman on a non moving target, but it was the test Yuu had for them at the end that would determine if their weapon choise really was a fit for them.

Yuu had the trainees working on specific movements to their chosen weapon and walked around tweaking their form. Finally, he added foot work, moving around and brought out a dummy for each of them to practice shuffling in and around on before they strike. It wasn't long before it got pretty late. The trainees had chores to do so Yuu sent them off to go complete those before bed. He didn't have them running their usual drills and would remember to do that tomorrow for warm up before they sparred a bit tomorrow or before the real running around.

Yuu watched everyone leave before he himself relaxed and sat down. He needed to return to the medical wing but he just didn't have the energy. He was panting and sweating all of a sudden. His injuries weren't worse per say but they were strained.

Kai was working some of his rifle trainees when Yuu called out for the end of training. He watched them leave, not first before putting their guns away. When he turned to Yuu once everyone left, he found Yuu sitting in a chair. He hurried over to the other, kneeling beside him. "How are you holding up?" He noticed the heavy breathing and sweating of the other. He hoped he didn't aggravate a wound to much, causing it to open. He didn't see blood anywhere after a brief look. He watched Yuu for a little bit before asking him if he wanted to go back. "I can wash you of the sweat when we get back too." He knew the other would probably reject the proposal, but Kai explained himself. "If you continue to lay in your sweat you'll catch a cold. Trust me, it's happened to me before."

"Fine," he managed to agree as he got his arm up to get help. Yuu wasn't able to put much pressure at all on his right leg now and his stomach was absolutely killing him from the wound there and how he had to move around, yell, and wield his sword around. He still couldn't take a shower because of the injury on his neck but at least the others were in some kind of shape, though the medic did not want him taking a full shower or a bath. The medic had a nurse come over to give the teen a sponge bath so they could avoid all of his injuries but Yuu really didn't want to strip down and be given a sponge bath by one of the nurses. "Kai will help me." He said and the doctor refused with how Kai still had an injured hand and wrist. Yuu was taken from Kai and brought to the bathroom where the largest nurse stripped him and began to roughly wash him.

Kai helped Yuu all the way back to the medical room. He could tell how little strength he had in being able to hold himself up, and most of his weight was leaning on Kai. He didn't mind though, he'd rather feel all of Yuu's weight against him, then Yuu forcing himself to walk. When they got to the medical room and Kai offered to was Yuu the medic decided against it. Claiming his injured wrists and hand would only be trouble. The medic sent a nurse over who helped Yuu into a wheelchair and took him away. Kai called out, claiming he could help. His wounds were starting to annoy him, he felt stupid for injuring himself. But they were all to help Yuu, so there was no way he'd regret having gotten them in the first place. Unable to do anything, Kai flopped down on his claimed bed and waited for Yuu to return.
