Kai watched the medics reaction to his proposal. He shrugged at the question. "My father always told me my Grandfather was in the military. But his name and that one occupation was all that i knew. To be honest, im glad i met someone who knew him so well." When they finished the conversation of his grandfather the medic told him to go get soemthing to eat. He nodded, he hadnt had any decent food in almost a day if you thought about it. Kai left the medical room and headed for the cafeteria.

When Kai arrived he noticed all the trainees sitting together talking rambunctiously about their training. He was glad he could do something for them. He went up to the bar and grabbed a pre-made sandwich and a water. He turned to find a spot to sit and chose the single chair next to the large window. There was even a second chair, so he could lean back and raise his feet on the second chair.

Some of the trainees noticed Kai when he walked in but that was the extent of it. They just continued to eat an talk. The kids were already starting to form teams for battle tactics which wasn't something they would normally do until much later. When time was up, they almost didn't realize but quickly noticed and hurried to clean up and get back to the training room. They got back and lined up as they were suppose to and waited for Kai's instructions. They really did show respect towards this stranger.

Kai stared out the window after finishing his sandwhich. He longed to be outside again, to feel the air. Being stuck in here, he didnt know how long it would be until he went out again. He looked back in time to see the trainees cleaning up and heading back. He had actually listened in on their conversations and smiled. They were young, unknowing of what the world would throw at them. He stood up himself, tossing out the container is sandwich came in. He took his time getting back to the training grounds. And when he walked in he had his arms up and behind his head in a stretch. He found the trainees already standing in a line waiting for him. He whistled, "man, you guys are right on top of things."

Kai stood in front of the trainees, hands on his waist. What else could he teach these guys? He thought of something then. "In the real world you dont get second chances. You have to be on the dot at all times." He looked over the group. "Break up again. But this time, im going to rush you through stimulations. Youll show me how quick and efficient you can be in these situations." He stopped to make sure they were all following. "If you can still fight and concentrate under pressure. Then you should be fine for the real world."

The trainees were fairly good at this. Most of those with guns were able to do well because of all the training they had before. The trainees did everything they were told until they stopped to let Kai know it was time for them to go do chores. They had to clean boots, shine buckles, clean floors, and everything else important for them to learn. They thanked Kai again but three stayed back and of course, it was the trio. They walked over and aked if Yuu was going to be alright. They really liked Yuu and also hated to see him hurt.

Kai was glad at how well the trainees were doing. He didn't think they would be getting anywhere,Macintosh to be trained by Kai. But they listened and they did as Kai instructed. Did they really respect him that much? They didn't even know him outside of being Yuu's friend. They continued on training all the way until they spoke up about having to go do their chores. Kai instantly stopped the course and watched as they thanked him and left. He thought all of them had left, but when he turned around the trio was standing right behind him. They asked how Yuu was, and Kai could tell just how worried they were. Kai wasn't going to lie to them about Yuu's condition. "According to the medic he will be fine. Of course now he's going to have to wait longer to heal properly." He scratched at the back of his head. "Listen....that admiral wants Yuu back up and training you guys tomorrow morning. But there's no way Yuu will be okay for that. The medic and I are going to make my training you from now on a secret for as long as we can." He looked at the trio, a serious look on his face. "Think you can help us keep yuu resting like he should and not working. At least until he's actually fine enough to move without worry."

"We can try but the general is tough and stubborn. You probably know but he's a complete workaholic and hates skipping out on his job..." the clear leader said.

"You can imagine just how shocked we were when he suddenly disappeared for a few weeks," the boy added.

"What even happened to him? He is here running training and then the next day we are told he's disappeared. Isn't there anything you can tell us?" The leader said. The sniper girl stayed quiet in the back watching what was happening.

Kai listened to what they each had to say. When the first mentioned what the admiral was about Kai answered with, "Yeah, I can tell." Then the second spoke out, mentioning how Yuu was working with them at one point and the next he was gone. At this the third member of the trio gang spoke out, asking what had even happened to Yuu. Kai sighed, rubbing at his head again. He didn't know how to explain this one besides telling them what little he knew. Kai told them what he knew. "To be honest, I don't know much. I was having a normal day like any other and the next thing I know I'm helping Yuu off my stoop." He looked up at the trio. "The only thing I can tell you is that he was clearly distraught. He didn't know anything about himself or why he was at my apartment in the first place."

"I wonder why that happened," the leader mumbled to herself. "Well, do you at least know who injured him? I know the general enough that he wouldn't be taken down so easily. Those injuries from where I was didn't look like he got them in a fight either. Someone must have gotten their hands on him and hurt him... but who was it?" The kids clearly had no idea it was the admiral and were curious. They thought they knew so much about Yuu that clearly they didn't. "General Heiba was always so kind to us and a great teacher.... a lone wolf for sure but a pack leader when it came to us. Why would anyone want to hurt him like that?"

When the trio suddenly asked him who it was that hurt Yuu he froze for a moment. He didnt think what the admiral did to Yuu was that secret. Why wouldnt it be? He was torturing one of there own. Kai clicked his tongue. "Listen to me.....this has to stay between the three of us and no one else. And DONT tell you i told you this." He was silent for a moment, even looking around the room for a moment to make sure no one else was here. When he looked back at the trio je stepped closer, putting his hands on his waist. He then leaned forward and spoke in a whisper. "Remember, between us....the admiral did it. They captured Yuu and tortured him. Thats how he ended up with those injuries."

All three gasped and looked completely taken aback. None of them would have thought the admiral was even capable of doing such a thing. "Why would the admiral do that?!" the leader whispered. "He raised Yuu all his life and was like a father to him..." The three looked between each other. However, the first to recover was the sniper who hadn't said a single word all this time. She finally joined the conversation only to end it.

"Guys, we still have chores to do and it's getting really late. We'll be in trouble if we aren't in bed by lights out." The other two focused on the time and nodded.

"Sorry, Kai. We have to go but please keep us up to date on what's going on. We will do whatever it takes to help our general," the leader said standing strong. After that, the three hurried out of the room and ran to try and get back before it was too late.

Kai didnt want to tell them what happened. Even if Kai hated the guy, he was still the admiral. But after witnessing their own expression's he started to wonder of something was happening on the inside. Maybe the admiral was being forced to do this? Or maybe he was just an ass. Kai went with that idea. He watched as the trio left the room to do their chores. He remained in the room for a littlw while before he decided to leave as well. He returned to the medical room. Yuu was still sleeping. He was glad. Kai went up to him and wiped the hair in his face away. "Why do you have to be so stubborn? Your life should be more important to you then doing what that bastard tells you to do." He sighed, knowing Yuu wouldn't have heard him. Kai laid in the bed next to Yuu's. He was unable to fall asleep, so he just stared at the ceiling.

Yuu stayed completely out of it until the medic stopped administering the drug a few hours before he had to wake up. The medic then was able to wake the teen when morning rolled around and he had to go back to work. Yuu got up and dressed, ready for the last day. He was pretty pissed that the doctor didn't wake him yesterday to continue but if the admiral said he should rest then he wouldn't have argued.

As soon as Yuu headed out, the medic woke Kai and told him to get ready quickly so they could drag Yuu back to bed just after the morning exercises outside. They had to make sure Yuu made an appearance where the admiral would see him before they could have him bed ridden. It was hard for Yuu to get to where he was going but he got there and sent the kids on their run.

Kai was woken the following morning by the medic. Already dressed from the day prior, he got up and yawned. He followed the medic out of the medical room as they went to wait until morning exersice was done to get Yuu back to bed. He felt bad for doing something like this, but it was the only way to keep Yuu from hurting himself any longer. The two stayed hidden, so if the admiral showed up then he wouldn't be able to see them. He could see that Yuu was already starting to tire just from watching and giving slight orders. Over and over again in his head he continued to apologize to Yuu. He hoped that he would forgive him later. He waited until the medic gave his command. Until then he yawned and did some small stretching. It couldn't hurt for him to slightly join in on the exercise.

The trio were ready to help when they were needed and as soon as Yuu stepped back in doors and out of view of the admiral's window, they blocked their general off and everyone else went on ahead. "What are you doing?" Yuu asked slightly panting. He wanted to get back to the training so he could give the kids the time to spar and run the obstacle course. He didn't really have the chance to when the students grabbed Yuu's arms and the medic pulled a cloth over his face knocking him right out. A nurse, who had followed them, came around the corner with a wheelchair which the doctor put Yuu onto. "It's up to you, Kai." The medic said as he took Yuu and left the gunman to train the kids for the last day.

Kai hated what he was doing to Yuu. The poor guy didn't need it. But he also didn't need to be injured and the only way it was going to be healed was if he rested. Kai would rather feel the wrath of Yuu's anger then seeing him bleed to death. He watched as the trio stopped Yuu as he turned to go to the training room. Then as the medic creeped up behind him. He actually wasn't expecting the medic to knock him out the way he did. But it was good, Yuu didn't struggle that way. When the medic turned to him and gave him his permission to go and train the trainees, Kai nodded. He looked at the trio. "Let's hurry and finish up your training quick." He then left to the room, where he found the rest of the group standing around waiting. Yuu wanted a spar and special course set up. So Kai was going to give them one. He immediately started setting up a course he knew would help them.as soon as he was done he began the last training.

Yuu was brought straight back to the medical wing and placed back in bed where the medic placed a mask over the teen so it would keep him knocked out. Just to make sure nothing went wrong, the medic cuffed Yuu's better hand to the bed and moved his sword just out of reach. At least know the young general would be able to get the rest he needed. Looking at him now, the medic could only remember when Yuu was small and ended up in the medical wing fairly often. Not always because he was injured though. Some of the times it was because the nurse's were a lot like babysitters when the admiral was too busy and he needed to be entertained. By five, his time in the medical wing started to decrease as Yuu spent more time watching everyone train. By ten he was already training with them. Still, he had made it a point to visit the doctor from time to time even though his visits became more like onlooking where Yuu wouldn't speak and would stay near the door and observe for a few minutes before once again disappearing.

"All right. Unfortunately there's only me here. So I can't have you all going at once and me not being able to watch you." He had the trainees in a circle around him once more. He pointed in one direction. "Let's start with buns first. That's my specialty so it will be easier to notice what's going on faster." The group of gunmen and women stepped forward. They headed to the course Kai set up while he had the close range trainees watch from behind. "Here you will be tested on accuracy, stealth, concentration and of course your ability to hold the gun. Let's have three at one time. There is a time. Everything has to be done in three minutes." There were a couple of surprised looks but when he explained they quickly nodded in understanding. The first three trainees stepped up, and the course began.

The medic put one of the nurses to keep a close eye on the injured teen as well as the door in case the admiral decided to stop by. He typically didn't come around unless he had a reason but there were some men still healing up from Kai's rampage when he broke into the base so the admiral might decide to come on by and check on the men. The medic certainly felt bad for all the sneaking around but he took taking care of his patients as top priority and wasn't about to have Yuu risk his life on a simple training job.... the only major problem was that the doctor had never been able to remove the GPS tracking chip from Yuu's neck so if the admiral even stumbled upon the map, he'd see Yuu was some distance from where he was suppose to be.

By the time it reached lunch. The whole group of gunners was able to finish their course run. Kai was able to happily give a passing grade, by his own standards, to all of them. Of course he managed to pass on some advice after the run. And hopefully the trainees would use it. Kai called for a break so that they could go and eat. When they finished they would come back and finish up with the sparring. Instead of going to the cafeteria himself to eat, Kai returned to the medical room to check in. He would have to make sure to eat a lot tonight after missing three meals. When he got to the room he noticed how nurses were watching and making sure who was walking in. When he looked at Yuu he noticed he was once again cuffed to the bed. Kai's eyes wandered to his sword. It was out of reach. The medic was a smart man.

The medic took notice of Yuu and brought over a tray of food and handed it to him. "My wife had someone send this up a short while ago. She didn't think Yuushio would be able to make it to the food court knowing he would have to come see me when he could. I held onto it figuring you weren't planning on eating either." The medic smiled. He was a very wise and smart man so it was hard to get anything past him. "Yuushio is safe here, I made sure he's protected from the admiral and himself." The medic then gave a slight bow before walking to his desk to do some paperwork.

Kai had set next to Yuu in the chair and a moment later the medic came over and passed him a tray of food. He took the tray as the man spoke to him. Be nodded his head in thanks. He truly was grateful for the man. He helped his injuries, gave him a place to stay, forced Kai to eat when he wouldn't, and above all helped Yuu. But he had even more respect for him now after learning he had known his grandfather. He wished he knew more about the man. If only he had grown up listening to the heroes war stories. He silently ate his tray, watching Yuu as he slept. He was glad that he was going to be okay. It had scared him half to death seeing the blood and pain Yuu was in after opening his wounds.

Yuu slept on and the two went undisturbed. The medic sort of wanted to tell Kai that he hadn't removed the tracking devise but the thought of him worrying because of it wasn't going to help the gunman with his training. Should he tell him after the training is done and the admiral doesn't realize what happened or should he not bother saying anything at all. No matter where they go after wiping Yuu's memories, the military will always be able to track the young general down and drag him back if they needed to. There was no way to remove the chip without killing Yuu so should he still say something knowing that?

Kai continued eating his food while Yuu slept. The fact that the younger had slept this long meant that his wounds had been worse off then feared. Kai looked down at his watch and noticed that he had only a few moments before he had to be at the training room. He stood up, taking his tray with him. He left to the cafeteria and gave back his tray as the trianees were leaving. This meant kai would end up being a minute or two later then the trainees. Kai left for the training room as well and immediately started in on the sparring for the close range trainees.

The medic did finally come to the decision what he would never tell Kai that the tracking devise was there. There was no point in having him worry and always be looking over his shoulder for an enemy that would never come. If they did ever need to and did track Yuu down then he'd find out but once the teen's memories were to be wiped, he shouldn't ever be sought out again. Yuu continued to remain asleep again until the doctor took off the mask that had been administering the sleeping gas to keep Yuu knocked out. The trainees would have already left an hour before the doctor even took off the mask and it wasn't until fairly late that the teen even woke up.

Kai had one group of two spar at once. Because it wasnt his best area, he wanted to make sure he could watch them right. It would onlyy be fair to them as well. Half the group had already gone. Being only a group of 15. When they got to the end, kai had to pull a trainee who had already sparred to have a go with the last one. The rest of the training had actually finished up before dinner had come along. Which he was glad of, seeing how the previous night he learned of the trainees other duties. He called for the end of training and thanked them for putting up with him all this time. Especially to the trio. Kai then left and wemt back to the medical room. Now that the trininf was over, they didnt have to worry about the admiral finding out about Yuu. The only problem that would have to be dealt with was Yuu himself. He would most likely end up being angry. But Kai wasn't going to give in to his anger so easily.
