Kai decided he wanted to tell Yuu about his grandfather. He seemed so in depth with the history of the military. And if the medic happened to know him so well. Maybe the medic had told Yuu stories about him. Kai would do anything, besides talking to the admiral...for now, about his grandfather. Kai tilted his head to the side and spoke out. "Hey, Yuu...." He looked to the side of his bed and then back after a moment. "Have you heard of the name Tobio Futami? According my records, he was a war hero." He wasn't going to tell Yuu right away who his records were referring to. But he wanted to wait first to see if Yuu ever heard of the name before.

Yuu was happy to be pulled out of his own head. He looked over at Kai as he spoke and the name was familiar. "I know the name. I also heard he was a hero but that's all I know about him. He died before I was born and the admiral never wanted to talk about it. The medic said something about my relationship with the admiral was similar to the admiral's with admiral Futami but Eugene stopped the conversation there and refused to let me learn more about him." Yuu had no idea where Kai had learned the name or anything. Wasn't Kai too young to know him too? Where was this going?

Kai nodded when Yuu let him know of his knowledge for the man. "I've only heard bits from other people myself." He fell quiet for a moment, then laughed out lightly. "Through out this whole mess I never remembered to say anything and it just slipped my mind until now." He looked at the ground and then leaned back on his hands, behind him on the bed. "Yeah...Yuu, that Admiral Futami is my grandfather." Kai looked back at Yuu to see what his expression would look like after telling him. "I'm pretty sure I've caused my grandfather to roll in his grave until now." He let out another awkward laugh at the thought.

Yuu jolted a bit shocked by this information but couldn't help but let out a little smirk on the next comment. "I can't really say anything about that since I never did meet him, nor do I know anything about him. Everyone made it like it was so hard to talk about him... how did you learn so much about him?" Yuu was desperate to be filled in. He felt like everyone was keeping this great secret from him and people were only throwing out hints about it to keep him wanting to know as they rub it in his face that he's so clueless.

Kai noticed the visible twitch from the other as he stated his secret. But he was glad when the other didn't rightfully deject him or hate him. "Ah, my dad used to tell me before about him...you know, before his death..." He fell silent a moment. But soon he was forgetting the whole thing. "But I asked the doc. I figured I would try to see if someone knew of him." He smiled "who would have thought grandpa came from the same military base as you." Kai looked back at Yuu then, his eyes looking straight at the other. It really was a long shot. His grandpa could have come from some other base, some other faction. But lucky for him he didn't and somehow Kai and Yuu ended up here at the same base he was admiral at once before.

"Ya...." He mumbled slowly looking down to stare at the sheets on his lap. After hearing that the medic was alright with talking about the older admiral with Kai started to make Yuu feel left out. He wanted to know more so long ago and no one was willing to tell him anything but the moment this stranger brings it up, the whole story is an open book. Why couldn't the book have been open for him as well... Then he'd be able to talk about all these great stories with Kai and the distance between them wouldn't feel so far away. He wanted to say something but couldn't and found himself even unable to talk to his friend.

Kai noticed how quiet Yuu had fallen. How succumb to sadness he was. Kai jumped off his bed and knelt down beside Yuu's bed. "Hey, Yuu, whats wrong? Please talk to me." He was starting to feel the hate of the silence between them. Had he said something wrong when he brought up his grandfather? He had certainly hoped he didn't. "Im sorry if i upset you. I didnt mean.." he fell silent as he looked at the features of the other. Kai rested his arms on Yuu's bed and laid his head on his arms. The poor kid was going through so many different emotions all at once, ever since he had met Kai. He wondered what would have happened had he never helped Yuu. Had Yuu never found his way to Kai's doorstep. Where exactly would they be right now? Well, Kai would most likely still be off assassinating people.

"No, don't worry about it. It isn't your fault. You can forget it." The distance between the two was suffocating and saying stuff like this probably only made it worse. Yuu didn't want to talk about it, in fact, he didn't feel like he even had the right to. Kai should be allowed to learn more about his own grandfather but Yuu was nothing to him and if his guardian didn't want him to know then what right did he have to learn about it? "Kai? Thanks for finding me and helping.... I'd be dead right now if it wasn't for you.... I wouldn't have been able to keep running... not without any memory or anything. Also, because of you being here, I feel like I have more freedom." The last statement was an illusion because everyone was sure to keep Yuu on the tightest leash ever.

Kai had closed his eyes as Yuu told him not to worry. Not to apologize. Kai couldn't help the feeling he felt of feeling guilty. And he doubt that he'd ever shake it. The two fell silent for a moment as Kai rested on his arms and Yuu sat in his bed. But when Yuu spoke up again, Kai opened his eyes and let a small smile graze his lips. He listened to the other speak gently and quietly. When Yuu finished talking Kai reach out and grasped one of his hands. "To be honest, I'm glad I met you. I was a cold person, and could care less about my fellow man. I wouldn't hesitate to kill another. But after finding you, I realized what it felt like to care for people again." He looked up at the other, his own eyes boring into Yuu's. "I know what it feels like to love too." Kai let a toothy grin grace his features.

Yuu felt better to hear Kai talking about how much he'd changed and that it seemed to be for the better. It was also nice to see that Kai had no regrets. However, as soon as Kai mentioned about knowing love, Yuu's face turned red and he shoved Kai away from him as he looked away. The teen's face was pretty red and he was embarrassed feeling Kai was just poking fun at his feelings. Of course the gunman wouldn't do such a thing but Yuu still didn't want his feelings known since he only just started to understand them himself.

Kai had noticed the slight surprise in his features at his mention of love. He even saw the slight blush of the other. But what was he wasn't expecting was to be pushed away from the other. He lost his grip on Yuu's hand as he tried to catch himself before falling backwards. Kai stood up after regaining his balance and looked down at Yuu as he looked away from him. His hand rose to his waist and rested on his hip. He wasn't expecting to be royally rejected like that from the younger. Of course, Kai hadn't noticed what Yuu was actually feeling and instead thought the opposite. He sighed and sat back on his own bed. Unfortunately he had no words to say to Yuu now, and they fell into silence. Kai thought about apologizing to him, but he wasn't sorry for realizing his feelings for the younger male. He supposed he would just wait until the other felt the same way.

The was am awkward distance between the two for the next couple months and Yuu wondered if it would ever end. Why did Kai have to make fun of his feelings like that?! Still, weeks passed and Yuu was finally able to get onto his feet and even use his left arm a little. Sure that arm was never going to heal but he was alright and it didn't completely effect him. They had finally got to the point where it was time for the two to leave. Yuu knew he still needed help and wondered if their relationship would be fixed while he was drunk. "I'll be back soon..." Yuu said quietly before walking out of the medical wing and going to find the admiral.

 

They went somewhere private and Yuu drank until he was over the top drunk. He finally gave all the information the admiral was looking for and was dragged back to the medical wing. The admiral came in pulling Yuu behind him by the collar. They'd only been gone an hour and the admiral looked like he was ready to kill the kid. "Deal with him," he barked and tossed Yuu at Kai. "I'll come get him tomorrow to wipe his memory."

 

Yuu grabbed onto Kai and held tightly. "He's so sour!!!! Kai!!!!......... Kai smells nice......" Yuu continued to sniff his friend still clinging to him.

Months had gone on as the two remained locked inside the base. Kai was sure he would go crazy. He had nothing else to do besides eat, sleep, and walk around where he could. Eventually he was only able to see the same walls and same rooms after so long. His wrists and broken hand had healed completely, and he watched as Yuu's injuries had healed as well. Kai noticed the struggles of using his left arm, but he never left the other's side, making sure he could be of use to the other. He had also taken notice of how the awkward silences and distance of their relationship grew.

 

Kai's confession had gotten him no where and even now, as the time rolled around for Yuu to say all he needed to say to the admiral, Kai couldn't do much more then he had all ready. Kai was laying back on his bed, his feet hanging on the floor. When Yuu announced he was leaving to find the admiral, Kai merely watched as he lifted his head to watch him go. The silence in the room grew as he lay quietly on the bed.

 

He didn't have to wait long, however, when Yuu came back in an hour later. Kai shot out of the bed and came over to the two. Yuu was clearly drunk. The fact that the man had to pull Yuu from behind gave it all away. Then the admiral tossed Yuu at Kai and he caught him before he lost balance and toppled over. When Yuu cried out, Kai glared at the man. He still hated his guts and would still hate it well after they've left.

 

But after the man left wit a grunt and Yuu whispered out softly, Kai's muscles relaxed. He held on to Yuu as the other clung to him. He let a smile graze his lips for a moment as he wrapped his arms around the other's shoulders in a hug. Kai held Yuu for a moment before helping him back to his own bed. "Come on, Yuu."

"Whatever!!!" Yuu suddenly threw himself back and almost onto his ass before his wobbly feet caught him. "He's been a useless ass all my life!!!! Kai, you'll help me won't you?! Of course you will!!!" He really couldn't care for an answer as he jumped onto the bed and pulled Kai onto it as well. "Come on, let's do it!! I want to do it!!!" He was making a commotion but luckily the only other person in the entire medical wing was a soldier in a coma so he wasn't hearing anything. Even the medic and nurses were out.

Kai really had no idea what had gotten into Yuu to rile him up so much in his drunken state. The other just kept yelling nonsense in front of him. Almost falling flat in his ass too. He sighed when Yuu caught himself and threw himself against Kai again as he yelled out. But before he could say anything, Kai was being dragged down onto the bed along with Yuu. When Yuu cried out, wanting to have sex, Kai snorted at him. "Yuu, we can't do it here. There's no way I'm doing it here." He tried to run his fingers through the other's hair in hopes he could calm him down somehow.

"But Kai.... I'm already like this...." His voice finally came down to a normal indoor level and he sat with his legs in front of him, knees apart, feet almost touching. Yuu was looking down at which he was surprisingly hard. "I really love you Kai and I can't control myself.... I don't want you to hate me!! Why'd you make fun of my feelings 5 weeks ago?!" Tears started welling up in his eyes. Yuu was a little more sensitive now in this drunk state. Even though he felt hated and rejected though, it didn't do anything for his boner that was actually hurting as it pressed tightly against its fabric cage.

Kai watched as the other sat up as he announced the state of his arousal. Kai's eyes widened briefly as he noticed the bulge against the other's pants. He gulped. It was hard for Kai to hold back too. But he wanted Yuu just as much as he did before. Yuu made his head spin out of control when he was like this. Then he heard the shaky voice of Yuu and looked up to find him crying. Love him? Didn't want Kai to hate him? Made fun of his feelings? What was Yuu talking about? Then he remembered his own confession. Did he seriously think he was making fun of him then? Then that meant Yuu really did love him? Kai leaned forward, resting his head against Yuu's. "Where on earth did you think i was making fun of you?" He looked straight into Yuu's eyes then. "Yuu...i love you."

"R-really?" he sniffled. His mood lightened a bit and Yuu turned his head so the two could kiss. He started off with something gentle until Kai started to kiss back and then the teen quickly changed to hot and passionate. When the two finally parted to get some air, Yuu poked Kai's crotch. "Let's do it, I know you're itching to just as much as I am." At least Yuu never remembered stuff when he was drunk because this was embarrassing even if no one was around. "There are bound to be some placed without any people!!! I know of a closet that's fairly big and no one ever goes in because it's a janitorial closet for the night guys and they won't show up for another 15 hours. We could also go to my office, that door has a lock and only I'm allowed in there unless someone has permission." He was dead set on doing it with his love especially with the thought of losing his memories still looming over him. There was no way they'd have sex for a while after that or Yuu might find himself too scared of Kai.

Kai nodded at Yuu's question before the other had turned his head enough to kiss Kai. Kai was hesitant to kiss back, knowing very well that he would get to heated in it. But soon enough he gave in, kissing the other back. As soon as he did, Yuu had deepened the kiss. Kai reached his hands up around Yuu's neck and tilted his head back a little bit to deepen the kiss further. Eventually they had to break for air. And as Kai stared at the other, lust starting to over come him, Yuu poked at Kai's crotch. He groaned slightly at the touch before Yuu started going off on a spiel about where they could do it. Soon enough Yuu had Kai wishing they were doing it right here. Kai leaned down and kissed Yuu's neck before whispering in his ear. "Which one is closer?"

"The closet," He admitted. "It's just around the corner." He pointed behind him where the closet was basically on the other side of that wall. Yuu latched onto Kai as they moved and quickly made it to the closet. It wasn't as spacious as Yuu made it out to be. and there wasn't enough room with all the different things on the ground for them to actually lay down but there was a space against the wall and the door did actually lock from the inside, plus no one even came down this hall too much because there were just supply closets and janitorial areas. Yuu didn't hesitate to turn to Kai again and wrap his arms around the taller male's neck and kiss him passionately again.

Kai nodded with a small growl before standing up. He held out his hand as he helped Yuu off the bed and instantly the other clung to him. They rushed to the closet finding themselves unable to move around like he had thought they could. That was fine with him. He watched as Yuu locked the door from the inside and wrapped his arms around Kai's neck. Their kiss was instantly passionate. No gentle kissing before deepening it. They reveled in the kiss that had them panting for more and more each time. Kai held Yuu against him, one hand behind his back, his other on the small of his back. In the small of the closest Kai was able to take in the smell of Yuu. He ignored the smell of dust, cleaning supplies and slight mold. Yuu's taste against his lips made him glad he didn't hold back. Besides, after tomorrow, he may never get this chance again.

Yuu clung desperately to Kai as they kissed and held onto one another. He wanted it so badly that it hurt and the teen pulled away from the kiss just enough to be able to talk. "Please, hurry up and do it. It won't go in right away since it's been so long." He kissed again before pulling back to let Kai respond. It really had been a long time since they last did it in the hotel so Yuu would need quite a bit of preparation and with this much heat, melting their brains, they would have to get right to it so they wouldn't lose themselves completely and end up getting hurt.

Kai felt Yuu pull away, breaking the kiss. But he soon brok le out a raspy voice, demanding that he hurry. Kai growled against his neck and ground his hips against Yuu. He definitely wouldn't be able to hold back anyway. Kai worked his way down to Yuu's pants and undid them, letting them slide off to the floor. He brought his hips back again, before his hand worked it's way back to his ass and straight for his entrance. Kai wasted no time in sliding one finger into Yuu's entrance.

Yuu groaned as Kai began digging into him and finally got his pants off before quickly slipping a finger in his entrance. The teen was barely able to stand on his own and held tightly to Kai but at least he wasn't hurt. Yuu was quite wet so it made it easier to slip the fingers in. He was a little more open then expected so getting the second and soon the third was fairly easy. After several minutes of work, Yuu couldn't take any more and whispered into Kai's ear. "I'm ok now, please stick it in... hurry!!"

Kai had entered his finger in easily. He didn't think Yuu would be so wet all ready. Soon enough he was entering a second finger then a third. And before he knew it, Kai was scissoring Yuu's entrance open. He spent only a few minutes on preparing him before Yuu could no longer hold back. He whispered into Kai's ear hurriedly, causing Kai to growl with anticipation. Then he lofted Yuu up, holding him by his ass just above his own member. Without warning, Kai lowered Yuu down and entered him in one sudden thrust. Kai groaned out and bit Yuu's shoulder for a moment. Until he was able to calm himself down from instantly coming.
