Sidney was confused when the other told him to flip over, a bit weary when doing so. He didn't know what the other was planning, but he got a little worried about it. He needed a shower fast. By the time he finished cleaning himself up, he saw that the other man was passed out on the bed. He snorted, smelling the alcohol on him. He knew he wasn't drunk, probably jaunt tired from the ruckus the other men decided to cause with him. He laid down on the bed, cuddling up next to the other man, falling asleep against he warmth. Sidney woke up, finding his captain was gone and out. He served himself food, finding his lover was with the ship weight, discussing the ship's damage. It took several hours of lounging around before Sosuke was able to leave for a bit to go shopping. He was given quite a small timeframe with the other man, but he wouldn't mind. Every second mattered, every minute meant the world to him. He was overly excited when they finally could leave the ship, unable to hide that excitement on his face. When he got off the ladder, he was hopping around, waiting for Sosuke to come down. He immediately grabbed his hand, pulling him towards the Main Street, pulling him into an antique shop. "I want to find something for you, like a ring. Yeah!" He was so happy, looking around at all of the rings.

Sosuke wanted to stay in bed with the other for the rest of the night. But unfortunately Sidney wasn't having it. He oushed Sosuke away by his face, much like he had done before. Sosuke didn't mind, it didn't hurt him in the least, in fact he found it funny when it happened. Sosuke laughed as Sidney stood up off the bed and went to take a shower. Sosuke watched Sidney until he disappeared behind the door, noticing the slight drip of his own juice coming from the younger pirates ass. Sosuke groaned and rolled his eyes before he hopped off the bed himself, fixed his pants and left the cabin. He found his men already starting on the drinking festivities and joined them. He didn't last very long with the men, and after two drinks for a whole half hour, Sosuke was dragging himself back to the cabin. He wasn't drunk, just tired, wouldn't anyone be that quickly if they exercised and then went to drink? When he got to the cabin, Sidney was still in the shower. Sosuke plopped himself down on the bed, kicking his shoes off with much struggle. He wasn't even fully on the bed, his ankles hanging off. Sosuke's arms spread out on either side of him and in minutes he had passed out.

 

The following morning he woke up groggily. He smiled down at the bundle of his lover still sleeping beside him. Sosuke kissed Sidney on his temple before grabbing his boots and leaving the cabin. He made it out in time as the ship wright was granted access to the ship. Sosuke remained with the shipwright all morning until Sidney woke up. And even then there was some things he still had to go over before he could finish his conversation. By the time he was done and looked around not finding Sidney, he noticed the younger pirate was waiting for him already on the docks. Sosuke chuckled at the sight of his bouncing lover before he reached the dock himself. Instantly his hand was grabbed and he was pulled towards town and into an antique shop. He watched happily as his lover looked around, demanding that it be a ring he found for Sosuke as a gift.

Sidney was smiling as he looked through the rings. There were many different kinds, but his eyes focused on a ring that was clear yet multicolored as the rainbow. He grabbed the mans hand, grabbing the ring, sliding it on his finger. "Perfect fit," he hummed. He pulled a bag of coins out of his pocket, throwing at the man at the register. It was his own savings, he didn't care about giving it. Before he had a chance to pull the older man out of the store, a girl came hopping in, smiling widely. He clung to Sosuke's arm, becoming possessive. He didn't know why but he didn't get a good feeling from her. His eyes wideneed at what she said next. He truly didn't like this she-devil who randomly came in here asking for a ride.

 

Mina was looking down at the map she had collected, frowning widely. She needed to cross the sea to get to her next destination, but the men she were riding with had ditched her, leaving her on the island with little resources. She had heard a set of pirates docked on a few days ago and was hoping they would be willing to let her board for a bit. She wandered to their ship, only to be told by the crew mates that their captain had headed off with their navigator, odd. The raven haired beauty wandered through the Main Street until she spotted them. She didn't know who Sidney was, but she knew Sosuke was the captain, seeing him through the streets before looking for a shipwright. She ran after them into an antique shop, out of breath. She ignored the navigator clingly desperately to the captain, focusing all her attention on Sosuke. "Sir, my name is Mina Delguado, I am a traveler in need of a ride to the next island. I was hoping I could board with you if to was not too much trouble," he spoke softly, giving him desperate filled eyes, trying to gain his attention by cuteness, hoping it worked.

Sosuke watched as Sidney picked out a ring, bouncing over to him before placing it on his right ring finger. A happy chirp from the navigator made Sosuke grin with happiness himself. However, he stared down at the ring, thinking something just wasn't right. As Sidney paid the man and bounded back over to Sosuke, he noticed what was wrong. Sosuke took the ring off his finger, then reached over to pat Sidney's head. Sosuke would have switched hands, putting the ring on his left ring finger. Instead, just as he was about to, Sidney clung to his arm and a younger girl came trotting up to them begging for a free ride. Sosuke raised his brow at the mention of the girl's name and placed the ring back on his right finger without even realizing what hand it was. Sosuke held up a hand, waving it in front of him and Mina. He was not impressed with her puppy dog look however. "Wait, wait, Mina Delguado?" He looked over the girl once, twice, then spoke up again. "Minaughty?" Sosuke spoke out the nickname he had given to a girl from his home town. Because she was always getting in trouble with the shop owners and her parents, Sosuke used to call her by this name all the time. Sosuke waited in silence, Sidney still clinging to his arm, until she spoke.

Sidney stopped clinging as he looked between the two when the girl spoke again. That envy, jealousy began to bubble inside of him. They knew each other, they already have met before. Hey didn't need to worry because they knew each other. He never realized how envious he could become, he never realized the green monster was even held in him, but it was. He smiles, it didn't look forced, but it was. He decided not to speak, he'd just listen. He'd make sure nothing was said he didn't like, he didn't want to be rude when it wasn't needed. He needed this monster in him to go away, Sosuke knew her, that was all. His captain was still his lover, that was that. She wouldn't take that from him, she was nobody. A nobody didn't know his somebody.

 

Mina clicked her tongue, pouting. "I haven't heard that nickname is years, the only one who called me that was... Sosuke?" Her brown eyes widened in shock as she looked the man over multiple times. "Sosuke! It is you! Oh how I've missed you!" She hugged him, not caring if he wanted it or not. She was all th touchy feely kind of person, especially towards this man. She spent hours with him a day, surely he would remember how touchy she was with him. But she was that way with everyone as he thought, though she touched him more freely. "Oh my goodness! How have you been? Pirate captain now? Why the hell didn't you tell me you were going to leave you bastard!" She pulled away laughing, punching him hard, uncaring to the pain it would bring. Sosuke left without giving a word to her, she hates him for that. She thought they were close, closer than anyone, yet he left her in he dark, unknown. Now here he was, in front of her, she was going to make sure to get a good punch in.

Sosuke grinned widely when Mina called out his name. He laughed when he was hugged, very clearly remembering how touchy she was. She was a huger and liked to tease all the kids. Sosuke pat her head, much like he had with Sidney. Then he held it there, commenting on how short she was before answering her own questions. "Ah, I started the crew two years after leaving." He got a good punch in the arm when she pulled away from him. In a fake attempt to show her that her punch hurt they began laughing together. Of course he suddenly fell silent for a moment after she mentioned him leaving without saying 'Goodbye' to her. "I couldn't say goodbye, Mina. After my parent's death...after what they did to Nibo...I had to just leave. They would have found me otherwise."

 

When the government got word that someone was aiding a pirate captain after a storm tore apart his ship and killed his men, the government invaded his hometown. Mina and many others were saved when someone told the government it was Sosuke and his family who helped the pirate. The government killed his parents, and when he and his younger brother escaped only to be split up, Sosuke found that even his brother had been caught and killed. Sosuke hid in secret for three days, no one knowing, not even Mina, where he was. When he finally found a fisherman's boat sailing off, he stowed away on it and left the island he called home. Two years later, at the age of fifteen, Sosuke started his own band of pirates. And very quickly became one of the most famous bounties with the government.

Sidney pursed his lips into a thin line, furrowing his eyebrows. "I'm just going to let you two... catch up," he mumbled, walking over to another side of the store. He was pissed, his anger inside him boiling. This 'Mina' girl just waltzed in and was already hugging his lover, who even patted her head! That was his gesture that he used only for the navigator, but now it was being used on some stranger. Stranger? She was only a stranger to Sidney, obviously, Sosuke knew her well. So very well. Hearing about the man's past, he coughed, ready to just storm out. That's something no one on the ship knew about, and he meant no one. Everyone had bits and pieces, but no one truly knew about his past. This girl did however. The navigator straightened up, walking past Sosuke. "I'm going to another store, don't wait up for me," he mumbled. He needed out before he broke something on purpose. This jealous monster was taking him over.

 

Mina frowned when he brought up what happened, knowing it was the worst thing they could've happened to the man. She decided to quickly change the subject, ignoring what she accidentally brought up. "Short? I am average for my gender mister! You are just too tall," she laughed. "But a captain, you sure are something now. I remember you when you were that bratty kid with a temper. Ah, but you were so kind to me, always helping me out!" She hugged him again, holding tightly. She missed this, she missed the warmth of the other. All these years she wondered where he ran off to, only to find out he was a captain of a band of pirates. She let go, a wide smile overtaking her face. "Golly! I really am surprised to see you again! But to see as a handsome man, I bet the ladies adore you," he teased. "I however did not become as famous as you. I started to travel, exploring new places, becoming culturally knowledgable." After Sosuke left, she decided to become a scholar, gaining smarts that she never had before. She wanted to learn new things so she began to travel. "Back to that, I really need to get to the next island, Sosuke." She put on the a pleading look, her lips forming into a pout, remembering how weak the man was to it.
