When Sidney kissed Sosuke on the cheek, the side that kissed also ended up with a closed eye. He chuckled. "Yeah. I'm better now. Thanks for listening." He took in the other warmth when he was hugged once more. Sosuke was feeling much better not that he had calmed down. His eyes felt sore and he could tell they would swell over later. They were probably compltely red from all the tears and his wiping them away. If he left the cabin now, his men would certainly wonder what had happened. He decided he would leave the cabin later. Where the night sky forced everything to be shadowed over. Then they wouldn't be able to see his eyes, even through the lanterns they lit. He smiled up at Sidney as he pulled away slightly just before he started sucking on his neck. Sosuke moaned at the sensation before Sidney pulled away, admiring his work. Sosuke stood up off the bed, towering over the other. He ran his fingers through the younger's hair down to the ending hair line. "I'm having a breakdown right here and your thinking about how my neck needs a piece of art?" He grinned down at the younger pirate, his lover, as he gently pulled Sidney's hair, tilting his head back, exposing his skin. "I think I need to punish you later." He leaned down and nipped at Sidney's adams apple before he too sucked on his neck. It was't gentle at first like Sidney's had been. Sosuke's sucking started of rough and hard and ended the same way. He broke from his neck, licking his lips, and grinned at the younger. "For now, this will do."

Sidney laughed, allowing his neck to be tilted. "I dont think it'd be much of a punishment for me though. I'd want you to," he purred. He moaned when the other started sucking on his neck. He loved how rough the other was, his body shook at bit, wanting to fall into the other. He pouted when the other pulled away. "But it won't do for me, that's not fair, I want more." He sat down on the other's lap, kissing him again, this time was a lot tougher than his other sweet kisses of comfort. Sosuke started the teasing game when he announced he might punish the young navigator. He ran his fingers through the other's hair, holding his position on the man's lap. He pulled back, giving him a quick kiss on the nose. "Your breakdown is going to prohibit you from this?"

Sosuke chuckled when Sidney demanded for more. "I told you I would punish you didn't I?" Sosuke was pushe dback against the bed, the other sitting on his lap, kissing him once more. This kiss was a little more rough, more so then the ones they had just shared. Sosuke closed his eyes when Sidney began running his fingers through his hair. Along with the sweet spot on his neck, his hair being touched felt just as good to him. His nose was kissed quickly when Sidney pulled back. And his little tease only made him laugh. He stood up again, picking Sidney up by his butt, still in the position he was in. He turned himself around before climbing onto the bed and laying the other down. He stared down at his lover through lust filled eyes. "There's no way I'm going to let it stop me." He lowered his head and placed a kiss on his neck, before once again sucking on it, this time in a different spot.

Sidney squeaked when the other lifted him up, only to lay him on his back. He moaned again as the other sucked on more on a more sensitive part of his neck. "F-Feels... nice," he hummed through his moan. His hand snaked around to the older man's back, bunching the shirt in his hands. Hearing the word punishment describe what was going on could've made him laugh, this felt like the complete opposite of. He squirmed until the mouth was pulled off his neck, the spot sending too many tingles through his body. He smiled up at the older man, that smile becoming a frown when the door was knocked on. An interruption, something he could do without right now. Sosuke'd eyes were red, if it was one of the crew they'd definitely question what was the matter. "Guess that's going to stop you," he teased. He was glad to see it was not one of the crew, but he was unhappy to see it was Mina instead. Though that irritation didn't last for long seeing how red her eyes were. She probably had cried more than his lover had, causing him to feel sympathy. Sidney was the kind of person who couldn't ignore someone who was upset, even if he was a jealous monster over them. That included Mina. He didn't know what to do however besides be kind to her. He looked down, unsure if he was supposed to do anything for her.

 

Mina returned after a short walk, letting herself just silently cry. Once she had calmed, a deep frown formed on her face. She hated thinking about Nibo, his could've been lover. She needed somewhere to sleep on the ship, knocking on the door. When it was opened after a few minutes, Sosuke didn't look pleased, frankly she didn't care. She needed to sleep now, she could've cared less if the man was upset or not, she was exhausted. Bringing back the past hurt her so much, it was something she didn't want to think about about. "I'm sorry, I need to know where I'll be sleeping," her voice barely above a whisper. She forced a smile as she looked up at him, trying to seem okay. She would be when the day was over, a new day was a new opportunity. She took advantage of that, reminding herself of that kept her going. It's how she made it when her only two friends left her. Now she had Sosuke back, she'd be completely okay. She just had to let go of Nibo in the process.

Sosuke chuckled as he pulled away from his lover's neck. "I'll make you feel even better too." He felt Sidney's arms wrap around him as leaned forward for a kiss, only to be interrupted by a knock on the door. Sosuke growled, un-pleased by it. He rose, still kneeling on the bed. He hesitated going to the door, but decided he would. Eventually his men would have to see him, and they would ultimately see his reddened eyes. So why not let them see now. He swung the door open, an unpleasant look on his face. However when he noticed it was Mina, his look fell just a little bit. He let her inside, stepping away from the door. He could see some of the men eyeing them, but they didn't start jeering at him. The look on Mina's face when she returned to the ship helped them realize she was in no mood. And most possibly the Captain as well.

 

He sat on the bed, crossing his leg over the other and leaned back on his arms. He looked up at the ceiling, thinking of the places she could sleep and use as her own room. "Well, you can either share this room. Or you can share the medical room." He looked back at Mina, who clearly didn't care so long as she had a room. He sighed, scratching at the back of his head. "How about this, until we dock at the next island, you can use this room. Sidney and I can sleep with the men." He looked apologetically at Sidney. For the time being they would have to give up the privacy of their room and sleep with the rest of the crew. And he had no idea when their next docking would even be. They hadn't even left this one yet. But there was no other way around it. Sosuke made the decision and that's how it was going to be.

"That's troubling you too much, I couldn't," she said in a meek voice. She looked down at the floor. She hated to be bothering Sosuke, she couldn't stand to be doing such a horrible thing. "You know, maybe I shouldn't come with you. I'll find another way to get there." She didn't move, but her words were dead serious. It was better if she didn't go with the other, then the memories wouldn't hurt her as much as they did. Then she could stop feeling so down about seeing him. Being with the other just continued to remind herself of Nibo and the mistakes she made with him. "I think it would be best for both of us I mean, I'm not the only one who is bothered by remembering... You understand."

 

Sidney's eyes widened when the room was offered to her and she rejected. Listening to her speak, he was confused, yet he felt overwhelming sympathy. Seeing Sosuke's face when she said she was going to leave, he frowned. He obviously didn't want her to go, it made the navigator want to keep her there so his lover was happy. How was he supposed to do that? He still hated the thought of her being around Sosuke, but he hated the sadness that was coming from this. It wasn't fair to either of them. Hearing that Sosuke was bothered by the memories of secrets he was holding from the younger boy, he really did feel that stab of jealousy. Mina knew, Sidney didn't. He might soon, but not now. He resented her for that, he always would until he knew himself.

At Mina's words, Sosuke frowned. Not only was she refusing to take his room, but now she was claiming that she should leave the ship. Because of their memories? Was that relaly any reason to leave? Yeah, sure they hurt. I mean, how couldnt he feel hurt by them? He ran away from home, his family was murdered by the government, he lost his best friend. He had nothing for two whole years. But then he started another family. And it started to grow. By then he had already suppressed his memories. He didnt need them to have a pirate crew anyway. He was also afraid to tell them, thinking that they wouldnt want to follow him when they saw how much of a sap he was. But now was different. He could walk out that door and feel that he could tell his crew anything now. And no matter what they would accept him. He had Sidney now too. Who had already accepted him fully.

 

Sosuke clicked his tongue and stood up. Having Mina on the ship did bring back old memories. But he was glad. Any longer and he would have forgotten about them completely. "Mina, please stay with us. Let me get you to the next island. I dont care if you being here brings back our memories. I dont want to lose my best friend again" the seriousness in his eyes told her that she didnt have to feel like this anymore. Sosuke didnt want her walking away from him like that. He smiled down at her before looking at Sidney. He was going to have to let his lover know just what memories they were so upset about.

Mina shrugged, not sure if she wanted to argue this. "I just don't think it's... I don't know. I see you and I'm already crying before the day ends. That's not exactly how I want to continue staying on the ship with you, you understand right?" She mumbled everything she said, not wanting to speak properly. She looked away from the other, feeling bad she was getting him upset, but this could be for the better. She rubbed her eyes, feeling the soreness from crying so much. The room fell silent, shocked when the one who broke it was Sidney. Sosuke has made up his mind already, you should just join us on the ship. He's not going to let this go. The words he said surprised her. He went from being possessive to welcoming her on the ship for the time being. "Ah, right. I guess you're right. Okay."

 

Sidney didn't want to have her leave, knowing it would upset Sosuke even further, he didn't want to let that happen. Even if it killed him to have her continue to stay on the ship. Sosuke was his, he didn't need to worry. Sosuke would never betray him, never. He didn't need to worry about it, Sosuke was his lover. That mark on his neck showed it, that eased this jealousy somewhat. He still had it lingering, but it wasn't strong as it was before. "Sosuke has made up his mind already, you should just join us on the ship. He's not going to let this go," he chimed in. Hearing her give an okay, he forced a smile, seeing Sosuke lit up like a light. It was okay, Mina wouldn't be able to interfere with what they had. Even if their privacy was stripped, he could still have small moments with the man. He would last until the next docking.

Sosuke's mood was quickly dropping. He wasnt going to let her leave the ship that easily. She begged him to come on first, just because of a few memories and she was going to just leave. He couldnt understand that. However, he didnt have to demand of anything more when Sidney spoke up for him. He was surprised at the words of the younger. Just earlier he was pretty upset over the fact of Mina even knowing his Sosuke's name. When Mina agreed, her face showing signs of surprise as well, Sosuke smiled. He didnt want to see his friend leave because of their past. Then he spoke up, "you know, the only reason why its hard right now is because we've tried to forget the past. Because we knew this was what was going to happen." He spoke, mentioning how their tears came blowing out of no where. "But i can honestly tell you im glad. Because i feel like a weight just got lifted off my chest. I feel like i can sail on knowing that ive come to terms with everything." He fell silent, standing once more off the bed, next to Sidney. He reached for his hand and smiled down at the younger. "Mina, its time we moved on. Sure it will hurt. But for their sake, we have to move on." He was absolutely serious. Out of all these years of forcing back his past, he was now accepting it all in one day.

Mina sighed, letting a smile overtake her face. "I know that, I really do. I want to move on, but my mistakes are holding me back Sosuke. I just wish... I'd rather not start this again. I've already cried enough for one day," she forced a laugh, a small weak laugh. She didn't want to talk about this, she jaunt wanted to sleep. She was mentally and physically exhausted. She was going to have to deal with this everyday while being on the ship. Seeing Sosuke kept forcing her to remember Nibo, someone she didn't care to remember. She ran her fingers through her black hair, pushing it out of her face. "Can't I just sleep now? I'm sorry, I just... don't want to talk about this right now."

 

Sidney frowned when she asked if they could just sleep, knowing she was avoiding the talking. He hated how she wasn't letting Sosuke's words cheer her up. He could see she was already hurting though, talking about moving on only seemed to make it worse. "Come on, she needs sleep," he mumbled, standing up and pulling the other out the door. She needed to be alone, Sosuke didn't want to take the obvious hint. The man seemed reluctant to move, but Sidney wasn't going to give up pulling on him, sooner or later he just followed. "I know you want to help her, she's not in the mood. Try again tomorrow."

Sosuke listened to her once more. She clearly had no interest in finishing her sentences though. Ending them when she began thinking about another memory. When she asked to sleep now Sosuke stood his ground. He didn't want to just leave it as it was. Mina needed to know that it was okay to remember. He was starting to see that now himself. But when Sidney began tucking on his hand, pulling him away from her, he hesitated. He looked at Sidney then back at Mina, only to sigh and give in. He allowed Sidney to pull him out of the cabin. Sosuke closed the door behind him. He sighed again when Sidney told him to think about talking to her again tomorrow. Then he pulled Sidney into a hug, smelling Sidney's scent, feeling his warmth once more, eased him. He stayed in the hug for several minutes before he pulled away, smiling down at the younger. "Sorry for having to give up our room. But I know the doc likes to sleep in the medical room and there was no way she was sleeping with the men." Speaking of the men, he promised he'd spend more time with them. It was about time Sidney and himself joined them on their fun of drinking. Besides, Sosuke could use a good drink right now.

"Don't remind me, I'll be fine for a little while. Just don't refrain from kissing me, touching anywhere below the belt is a different story, don't do that," he laughed. Standing a bit on his tiptoes, he kissed the older man gently. He pulled away, smiling widely at the man in front of him. "I'll see you in the morning, go drink with the shipwright, he's a nice guy. He won't stay though, he has two little girls to take care of. Talk about that and he'll warm right up to you, don't be too over friendly, that worries him." He headed down into the crew's quarters, stealing a pillow from the stack they had, throwing it on a hammock, getting in. He laid down, in no mood for drinking tonight. He already had one pint, enough for one night. It caused him to tire a lot, wanting to not try and keep his eyes open any longer.

Sosuke smiled at the kiss given by his lover. When the other told him to go drink with the shipwright Sosuke agreed. He couldn't continue to ignore the man just because of his jealousy. He watched as Sidney went to the crew's quarters. Clearly he wasn't going to drink anymore. Sosuke pinched the bridge of his nose and rubbed at the corner of his eyes. He was hoping the men didn't notice his eyes any time soon. When joined the men, one of them passed him a mug. He would most likely only hve this one before he himself would pass out in a hammock as well. After having a day like he did, there was no way he'd handle more then one. Sosuke sat with the shipwright, he took Sidney's advice and asked about his family. The shipwright opened up to hi like Sidney said he would.

 

In two hours Sosuke was ready to leave. He had drank his one mug, and finished a conversation with the shipwright just at the bridge to the dock below. Thnkfully none of the men mentioned the swell of his eyes or the redness. He was glad, but he'd certainly notice it tomorrow. Sosuke went down to the crew's quarters, some of the men had already fallen into their hammocks. Some would coe back down later as well, the rest would pass out on the deck of the ship. Sosuke looked around some more and found Sidney sleeping soundly in what of the hammocks. He watched the other sleep a little while longer before finding a hammock by the wall of the ship. In an instant he fell asleep. The alcohol and crying helping him pass out right away.

Sidney woke up before the other men, tiptoeing out of bed not to wake them up. He saw Sosule was in a hammock against the wall, snickering at his odd position in the hammock. He surely wasn't going to be used to the pain in his neck when he wakes up, hammocks tended to flip over if you moved to much, the other obviously had, barely still in the thing. He headed up stairs, leaning against one of the rails, looking out at the sunrise. He usually didn't wake up so early, but today was one of the lucky ones for him to see the sun rising from the sea. He would most likely help the cook again, wanting to be useful still. He was still upset his privacy with Sosuke had been claimed and taken by Mina. He could wait and handle it, he could still kiss the other at least. Just not as much as he was able to when they were locked in privacy. He was bummed they couldn't fine in their nightly activities, or recieve the 'punishment' the other was going to give him.

Sosuke slept later then he normally would have, still before most of the men. He noticed that Sidney wasn't in his hammock. He rolled out of his own hammock, instantly feeling the tense of his neck. He groaned at the pain and tried stretching it out. He rubbed at the neck as he walked by the men, climbing over those who fell out, or just didnt make it to their hammocks. He made his way out onto the deck and breathed in the fresh morning air. He wasn't able to check, but he could tell by the sore feeling of his eyes, that they were still red. Hopefully not as noticeable as last night. Only time would tell. He walked over to a railing and leaned over it. He normally used it as a good tool to help him stretch out his body. Sosuke reached through the railing, grabbing at his pants and pulled his body forward. He got a good stretch out of that. The only problem was the kink in his neck. He'd have to get used to it soon or he would never be able to sleep in a hammock.

Sidney headed into the eating quarters, grabbing an apple, his hunger overtaking his patience for waiting to eat. Once he returned on deck, he found Sosuke was awake, bright and early. He creeped his way over to his, hugging his lover from behind, keeping his grip on the apple. "Your up so early, you should get your rest," he murmured. He nuzzled his face in between the man's shoulder blades. He didn't want to let go, unable to touch the man he prior day, he needed his recharge on the other. Without it he felt like he was going to go crazy, with them being the only ones up, he felt like he could touch the other as freely as he wanted, not having to worry about the teasing.

Sosuke was leaning over the railing, staring off over the sea. The sea he so desperately wanted to be sailing in right now. Suddenly to lean arms peered on either side of him and a body pressed against him, hugging him. He could tell without the other speaking or even turning around just who it was. He chuckled as the other rested against. Sidney commented on his early rise and that he should have been getting more sleep. "Ah, I couldn't sleep anymore." His voice was quiet, but he didn't need it to be loud anyway. The soft breeze of the sea blew through, sending the scent of the ocean to him. The sound of gulls calling out while flying above sounded as the sun crept its way up above the horizon. Today was going to be a good day to start sailing again. He felt Sidney's face nuzzle against his shoulders and he glimpsed back, only seeing the top of the younger's head. Sosuke smiled at the scene. He liked it when the other was near him. His warmth always managing to calm him down. He was glad to be this close to the other now, after not being able to touch him much yesterday. Suddenly a thought crossed his mind. He never actually told the other how he really felt. He figured that he knew just by how Sosuke reacted to him. But what if Sidney thought he was just using him as sexual release. He had to tell Sidney the truth. He started to speak up. "Sidney...I l-" his voice cut off. He wasn't sure if now was such a good time. He fell silent For a moment. "No, never mind." He will wait for now.

[Raychu]

Sidney hummed as a response, just enjoying the heat that as coming from him. When the other cut himself off, he was quite confused. "No, you have to finish now," he said as he pulled away, tugging at the man's arm. "I want to hear. Being silent about it is forbidden!" He laughed, clinging to the man's arm. He really wanted to know, willing to do anything to hear what the man was going to say. He hated being left in curiosity, it could kill him if he didn't know. Also, this felt like something important. Something he needed to know. If he didn't find out what it was he would feel like he was missing out on that important thing he so desperately wanted to hear. "Please Sosuke."

Sosuke wasn't going to tell him just yet. But the begging from the other only persisted. Eventually giving in to the adorable male clinging to his arm. Sosuke smiled, turning to face Sidney completely. He raised his hands and cupped Sidney's face in them. He looked down at the other for a moment, just staring into his eyes. Yeah, he was going to tell him just how he felt. It was time he knew. He smiled down at the younger. He opened his mouth to talk and stopped. Now that he was going to tell him, he didn't know how to say it. He looked to the side to think. After minutes of not a single sentence to say besides just saying, Sosuke decided to be a man. His mouth opened again. "Sidney," his voice was quiet as he spoke. "I love you." His smile never dropped and his eyes remained looking at the other. He had finally said it. And he felt like his chest was going to explode inside his chest.

Sidney was speechless when the other spoke. He didn't know how to make words come out of his mouth at that moment, he felt so dumbfounded to hear such special words. The younger boy's face was going beet red, unable to hide how embarrassed he was. "L-Love?" All he seemed to be able to get out in that moment. He attempted to say it back but it came out as inaudible mumbles and jumbles of words. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm his heart. This was too much for him to handle, he couldn't say it directly to Sosuke's face like he had done to the navigator, he wouldn't be able to talk at all then. He fell into the man'a chest, listening to the soothing sound of his fast heartbeat. He really did love him, that is truly something. "I love you too, Sosuke." He voice was quiet but unlike the multiple tires before, he was clear with what he was saying. He really did love the other so, estatic it was mutual.

Sosuke was beginning to get nervous. Sidney had fallen silent. And although he could see how fast his cheeks grew red, he was till unsure what the younger pirate was going to say back to him. Sidney chocked out the one word Sosuke wanted to hear the other say. Howver it came as a question instead. He closed his eyes. Was he too soon in saying something like that? He could hear the other fumbling for words to say, but he never opened his eyes to look at the other. Not until the other fell into Sosuke's chest, hugging him tightly. Sosuke looked down at the other, his heart was nearly beating out of his chest at the whole thing. Then the words came. The most intoxicating, most amazing, the sweetest words Sosuke had ever heard. Sidney loved him back. The shared a mutual feeling. He hugged the younger pirate close against his chest. His hug nearly squeezing the life at of poor Sidney. He never wanted this moment to end. He wanted to stand there, as if the two of them were the only ones in the world.

Sidney smiled widely, nuzzling his face into the man's shoulder, feeling too embarrassed to look at him. Hearing that Sosuke loved him made him feel so special, so amazing. Whatever jealousy and insecurity he had seemed to vanish. This really meant the man was his, only his. His captain was meant for him, no one else. No one had any power to take him away, not the crew, not a stranger, not a women, not even his closest childhood friend. This locked Sosuke to Sidney, they were together forever now. Trapped in an agreement spoke by words. "I love you so much. That means you can't leave me, ever. You just gave yourself to me by sayin that, I won't let you leave now," he said as he pulled away, looking up at his lover. Raising himself a bit on his tiptoes, he kissed the older man so gently. Worried a thing rougher and he would lose that love he gained. Love was something so fragile, destroyed by the simplest things. Sidney would take extra precaution with his lover now, not wanting to lose this amazing feeling.

Sosuke held Sidney close to him. There was no way something would have been able to pull them apart. Not even if the sea vanished before them. Sosuke heard Sidney speak out against his chest. His voice was vaguely muffled, but he could still very well hear what the other said. He held tighter onto the other pirate. "There's no way in hell I'm leaving you. Not now. Not ever. God...I love you Sidney." He hugged the other impossible tight until he leaned back and placed a kiss on Sosuke's lips. It was gentle, very gentle. Too gentle. Sosuke felt like it needed to be just a little bit more deeper. He cupped Sidney's face in his hands and leaned into the kiss. It wasn't passionate like they usually were, or erotic. It was special, it was perfect. They had shared so many kisses together and yet none of them matched up to the one now. Sosuke had dreams, he accomplished goals. But he was always alone and when he met his men, they just followed him. Now, he had someone to share in those dreams to accomplish goals together with him. Sosuke had never felt so completed before. He was a man who could finally find love, to gain love in return. He was finally able to fall in love.

Sidney leaned into the kiss more when the other deepened it a bit, smiling slightly. The navigator pulled back after a bit, a huge smile overtaking his face. "I'm so happy. I feel like I could die any second, is this normal Sosuke?" He laughed, hugging the other tightly, his heart pounding so hard against his chest. His body felt like it turned to gelatin, weak, unable to hold himself up. He was having Sosuke's hug as his support to stand, his face going completely red. "Sosuke, Sosuke. I love you, I love you so much," he hummed. He had been wanting to say those three words for awhile, but the time never felt right, feeling like it wasn't a good thing to say. Now he wanted to express his feelings, wanting the other to know every little thing he felt. "Sosuke, I feel like I can't walk. What am I supposed to do now? Take responsibility."

Sosuke laughed harmoniously at Sidney's words. He felt just as happy as the other did. His arms were starting to shake, though he made sure Sidney didn't know. He could feel that Sidney was losing strength in standing, seeing how most of his weight was being held up. He listened to Sidney hum against his chest. He loved the overwhelming feelings he was going through from just hearing his words. When Sidney spoke up agin after hugging the other, or more so just tightening his grip, Sosuke's heart finally burst. He groaned at the word 'responsibility' and shivered. His voice came out hoarse and low. "Sidney..." He leaned his head down a bit so he was lowered to the younger's ear. "There's no where to take responsibility on this ship...." With Mina in his cabin and the doc still in his room, the only thing he could do was take Sidney to the tavern and borrow a room. Although his mind was yelling at him to just take Sidney into the nearby forest and 'take responsibility' against a tree.
